Austin 1 Tai Chi Massage Foot Spa

My boyfriend and I made reservations for a 1 hour foot massage. Let me start by saying these two massage therapist are the NICEST people. When we arrived, we were advised to get 30 minutes body and 30 minutes foot massage. We regularly get massages every week and his very different.. We’ve had Thai massages before and this massage wasn’t very effective. It was just OK. Less than average. I’m not even sure my massage therapist was experienced. It felt like this was his side gig. . The location was difficult to find even in an Uber. Once we got there, we noticed that it was an antique / imports business and foot massage . If you’re used to getting massages regularly, I would recommend doing your research..

Very good massage! I got the foot massage and Swedish massage! Perfect pressure! Masseuse was very knowledgeable and friendly! Would recommend! Prices are a little more than normal place but it’s worth it. You don’t have to make an appointment but it helps.

Had the best massage of my life here! I came in with some shoulder and back pain and left feeling so relaxed and pain-free. Aimee had the best service and was so nice and accommodating. Would definitely go again

I booked a 60 minute combo (30 minutes body/30 minutes foot reflexology) with the gentleman master therapist and it was an amazing experience. He came highly recommended and I can see why, he was extremely patient, knowledgable and checked in frequently on pressure levels. He was very skilled in trigger point and he was able to instantly pinpoint where I had pain in my foot. He was amazing and so intuitive and just a very kind person. I felt very comfortable and rejuvenated coming here and I will definitely be coming back for a longer massage. Thank you so much for the best easter sunday treat.

This place is very clean, and the room is quiet, and private. The older gentleman had an excellent communication skills and he was very good at trigger points massage. A little bit of pain but I felt much better after my services. Highly recommended!!!

I booked foot reflexology and once the massage started it was about 45 minutes of my best life. I not only got an amazing foot/ankle massage that targeted stress points and knots, he also provided about 5-10 minutes of neck and head work that at least loosened some things. I will be booking a longer combination option on the future.

The best therapeutic massage of my life. This ain’t your mommas massage. He means business. I go when my stress has just distorted my neck and shoulders. It’s a traditional tai chi massage. If you don’t like your pressure points pushed into to release the muscle tightness make sure to tell him. He’s there to heal you! I only go to the older gentleman, as he is very professional and we have a good rapport and he knows where my muscles need the most work for the over benefit. Highly highly recommend this business. Prices are reasonable and like I said he’s the best!!!! He’s part of my healthcare team!

My muscles and my body feel completely rejuvenated!! I will certainly be back on a regular basis. This is the first time where I really feel a deep, full-body difference after a massage. I’m so grateful to have found this place so I can incorporate it into my wellness routine, I think this type of massage will really upgrade my health and well-being!

My massage with Tai Chi Massage was absolutely divine, from start to finish! The owner is so kind and communicative. He takes the time to explain the process and checks in throughout- making sure the pressure is okay, letting you know that he might be working on a particularly tender spot, and getting permission to move from body to face/head. He clearly understands how different parts of the body connect and work with one another, and how to identify root problem areas. I will definitely be back and really cant recommend them enough! Such a nourishing and restorative experience :)

I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. I never got massages before coming here, but now it is part of my life! The owner is so incredibly amazing at what he does. I always leave feeling happy, relaxed, and taken care of. He has magic hands! You can tell how genuine he is and is such a good presence to be around. Not to mention the vibes inside are unstoppable: the music, the lighting, the comfortable bed. The owner offers water, hair ties, and he even gave me cough drops when I was having allergies. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I love this place with all my heart! Support a local business and stop in. You wont regret it.
