Stopped by because I saw a sign that said cheapest drinks on 6th street. They weren’t lying at all. Went from paying $9 for a well drink to $2 on a Tuesday. Also saw some good live music from James Hearne. The bartender Michael was very nice and knowledgeable. Kept me entertained throughout the night.
I came here as a part of a business trip where the after conference celebration was held. The location was beautiful with a wonderful rooftop bar & view. They also had live music playing, and a lot of great food. The drinks were good and the bartender was very fast, overall it was a great time. I will say that walking back to my hotel from this location in the later part of night wasnt the greatest experience, just because this is a Bar filld street with a bunch of late night activities. However the walk back was fine, you just need to be aware of your surroundings.
Layout and everything here made sense. Great atmosphere. I attended both live music and a comedy show here, both were lots of fun. Rooftop is amazing
Do NOT GO HERE. Ladies bathroom disgusting. No toilet paper, wet pissy floors, Door are full of gunk. Paid $42 for 3 drinks to be nothing but soda.. Told the bartender he saidok.. lol never again.
Loser DJ. The DJ left his booth: left a the music on autopilot. Like the 1& year old child he is. . Who does not know how to read the crowd. This uncle wnd dad seem to be running the front door. If you want an 18 year old privilege ride white child; stop by. If you want to explore Austin- keep walking.
Had a great time at this place, but the server (Anthony) was very rude and then tipped himself on my card! Won’t come back.
Went to their new after hours bar. Michael was awesome, making drinks and small talk. Definitely coming back... need some @Hpnotiq
The office ! a regular place to have a beer and get a good serving of blues. still missing the old guy with his guitar. last time in Austin it was closed for renovations.. maybe next passing through they will be open again. a place to recommend, although the roof part can get crowded in weekends.. and spring break time.. :)
Music was great, bar staff was super friendly. We had a nice time! Drinks were really good.
Got invited to see a free show Leo and friends by the comedian Leo. Was a great show and the people there were very friendly, hung out with a couple of cool people before the show. Great time!
Austin 6th Street is going through a face lift process and Maggie Maes is leading the race. Most Austinites skip 6th Street all together. But, I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back.
First time wed been there in 30 years. Caught some comedy and enjoyed some drinks.
Probably the best bar on Dirty 6th. Lots of people but lots of space. Service is usually pretty quick for a packed place. Overhanging the street with friends is great. 2 stages as well so you can choose what kinds of music youd like to choose from. I have always had a good time.
One of my favorite bars. The drinks arent exactly the best priced in the area. The atmosphere is really good to meet friendly new people and have a good time. There is also rooftop access to look down upon all the other drunkards as they stumble around 6th street. No cover and open seating upstairs. Great place.
Maggie Maes is a great place to check out on 6th. Great music and a great place to enjoy a night out. It can get busy at times but there is plenty of room, especially upstairs. Some nights theyll have a band playing downstairs and a DJ upstairs. I definitely enjoy my time whenever Im there. Definitely would recommend!
Great 6th street hang out. Plenty of live music and areas to hang out inside and out. The drinks are reasonably priced and include a nice selection of local beers. Great view from the rooftop. Good service too. There are a couple of TVs if you dont want to look at your friends.
Great music and fun atmosphere! The lead guitarists allowed some younger musicians in the crowd play and it was awesome!! They were all very talented and it was nice to not see the crabs in the bucket mentality, Austin truly lives up to the hype as the music capital.
The live music by The Genders drew us in, we really enjoyed jamming out with these guys. However, with all the other bars having great live music....the drink prices at this venue are pretty steep. A shot of Patron and one very small and watered down cherry vodka sour cost $17.....went to The Library (bar, not books) up the road and purchased the same deal for significantly less.
A nice venue to have a drink, and soak in the atmosphere of the location. On a warm Austin night it is great venue to have a local beer and watch the tourists and bucks/hens parties having a good time.It is perched above a street full of characters, and gives you a birds eye view into other locations across the road.Well worth a visit.
I went to Maggie Maes for a SXSW event and the venue was amazing. The drinks were great and the after party was awesome as well. The DJ kept the music on all night and the music choices were fantastic. Id highly recommend it here!
Great bar, atmosphere of rooftop, and extremely good service considering the crowd! But to be honest this place is extremely overrated and very overcrowded. Some reason the line here is always ridiculously long. Theres lots of bars that offer same amenities and no wait (which wait time and fire regulations isnt Maggie Maes fault). But always will have a place in my heart 💗
I had one of the best nights of my life in Austin, Texas at Maggie Maes on a Sunday (tonight). Staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming to some out of town (slightly crazy) friends I had come in with. My experience there has made sure Ill forever adore this place. Great band, great staff, and just an amazing place overall. I only suggest you not go there because then there is more room for me :). Thank you soooo much Maggie Maes!!!
What a great place to hang out downtown - I went here for a bachelor party with my bros, and got a tonne of whiteclaws.Of course the night only got better and better as the bar staff was quick and the DJ played progressively better music thorough the night. The only reason. I dock 1 star is because the claws were a bit more expensive than wed like.
Horrible customer service. We stopped at this bar for one drink. A friend I was with was over charged by the blond bartender. We asked for the price and if she could just refund us the few dollars and she was extremely rude and unreasonable. She told us to leave. She was so mad that we questioned it that she served a guy next to us a beer and slammed it down so hard the liquid spewed out everywhere! We wanted to finish our drinks before leaving, especially because we paid EXTRA ( no reimbursement ) She proceeded to get management which were a joke. It was 2 men and they asked us to leave so we were literally pushed and shoved out of this ridiculous establishment. They were so aggressive that my wrist is bruising today. Overall this place was horrible. I would never return nor would I recommend to anyone.
My husbands band played here for four hours on September 9. The bartender took my husbands credit card for a tab, but when my husband paid the $16.24 tab with a $20.00(keep the change) the bartender charged our debit card the bill PLUS a two dollar tip!! He was rude, complained about everything and incredibly unprofessional. Worst bartender experience ever and we’ve been doing this eleven years now.
Spacious, inside/outside bar that has quality singer song/writers on a side stage during the day and full bands at night. The bartenders were super laid back, and the beer and whiskey selection was diverse enough for anyone to find what they want.
Great venue for live music and excellent performances and musical choices. Though, I didnt hear Rod Stewart there was an old lady that kinda resembles him.
My favorite bar on 6th St - Friendly barstaff, fantastic open top patio, and lots of different talented musicians play here every week. They also sometimes do private parties with some of the best food this side of Red River.
The Staff is professional, and ftiendly.. They have a smoking area, smokers dont have to go outside.. The house sound was very good.. Upstairs they have aWideScreen for televised events. Also theres an outdoor overlook where you have a clear look at the comings, & goings of Sixth Str.. Sometimes this can be quite a show in itself, at night its always a sight to see.. Drink prices are the same as everyone else down there.. Maggie Maes is one of The Top Clubs on Sixth Street.
Its the oldest and one of the most prestigious establishments in the downtown Austin area. There has been more talent come across their stage than and almost anywhere else. In an age where prerecorded music in common this place still host home grown live music every night of the week happy hr and primetime. Still reserving space for DJ and several bars within Maggie Maes has it all.
Good vibes, not unlike a lot of the places on 6th street. But the drinks here are really cheap. Star deducted because the DJ seemed determined to clear the floor every other song, even though it never got all that crowded.
It doesnt matter how long its been since I was here last, the entire downstairs always smells like puke. The upstairs is a little better as far as view and atmosphere potential, but its really overcrowded and not much fun to wait in line for a lone star.
I have always been a fan of this bar, really cool venue, and this bar has so many layers of entertainment. Fun place. Great place to get rejected! 10/10 would drink again.
I was here years ago when I lived in Austin 84-87. Friends of mine in bands played here by the front door. Havent been on 6th Street for a long time since I live in Houston, but it bar looks the same. Id start here if I didnt know where else to go on 6th Street. You can always have a good time here. I thank them for supporting so many bands over the years.
Love the indoor/outdoor feel, and live music and DJs. There’s not very much open space to stand, and the clientele is definitely a certain crowd, but it’s always a fun time! A classic stop on a 6th street crawl
One of the fee roof top bars on 6th. There is usually a live band, always crowded, and has some great views of the street. If you enjoy people watching this is the place for you.
As I visit Austin, what I heard the most was to check out the bars on 6th street. I was quite disappointed that it looked pretty dead. But Maggie Maes caught my attention. It looked pretty clean, and the coolest thing is the singer that was performing there live! It made the place a better place to hang out and stay for drinks. I recommend it if you wanna chill, have drinks and enjoy some good music! =)
Granted my visit was during SXSW but the door guys were pretty obnoxious and one of what seemed to be a female manager went up to an entire crowd of people and started grabbing and pushing them screaming telling them to leave. The layout does not make the most sense for a show venue as there is a ton of space but the sound and music playing was good. TI was performing as part of SXSW
Maggie Maes epitomizes Austin. Its a perfectly sized two-story music venue with two lives band all the time. Its super lit, and is also a great place to go with mom and dad because of its comfortable, intimate environment.
Very nice establishment. Tons of room for bigger parties. Great experience all around. Great live music, cold drinks, and Yeungling on tap.
Hilarious stand-up comedy night hosted by Leo Konopka
I honestly dont understand why so many people enjoy Maggie Maes. The line to get in is usually longer than most places, it is extraordinarily crowded, and the drinks are made with a quanitity served over quality served mindset. The crowd consists of recently-of-age frat boys, sorority sisters in too short dresses, and just gross guido types who love Top 40 jams. The last time I went, I waited 27 minutes for a drink. The bartender, who was actually really nice, gave me a free shot because he couldnt find a pen. Pass on it-- there are better nightlife options in Austin.
I wish I could give a review with zero stars. We came to Austin for the holiday weekend and Maggie Maes was our first stop when we got to 6th Street. We handed the door man our ids and he looked at my boyfriend and told him we should go next door because he looked like hed had too much to drink so we wouldnt be allowed inside. We had just gotten out of the car after a 6 hour drive. No wonder the place was empty with customer service like that. I manage a bar and am all for escorting people out that have had too much to drink, but to not even be allowed in the door was beyond unacceptable. I cannot wait to tell everyone to not waste their time going to such a despicable establishment.
JARED IS THE BEST BARTENDER IN ATX. 🍻🍸🥃
Always a favorite! Great music (live on 1st, DJ on 2nd). Not too loud (can still have a conversation), but occasionally have to move around due to outdoor space and smokers).
RUDE bartender is a nice way to put out experience. He definitely needs a different job and should not be working with people. Worst experience on 6th street even though the place was one of the cleanest the service isn’t worth stepping foot into the place.
Your standard bar on 6th St. Can of beer and a shot available. Your enjoyment depends on the music. Sonny Wolf is great, Mother Covers also very good.
Great bands, less than good service. If you want emotional bartenders to over charge your card just to make tips, by all means pay this place a visit.
They have great live bands here, and about 5 different bars between upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of places to dance, and a great crowd. They even have life band karaoke sometimes.
We were dancing n playing n fell so they kicked us out. We were leaving Peacefully n quietly n then they told my bf he couldnt take his beer. So he said ok let me finish it. they tackled him as if he had caused a threat n threw him out of the bar. We will never go back again. There was no need for that.
Great ambiance!! Servers are extra friendly and live music is great!! A bonus is the cheaper prices on liquor compared to the other pubs around in 6th Str.
FUN TIME - Downstairs: amazing live music, with energetic “The Weak Knights” on this Saturday night; friendly bartenders; lively atmosphere; tv screens for keeping up with sports - Upstairs: dancing with fabulous DJ!
If I could give no stars I would. My boyfriend told me to sit on one of the couches on the second floor while he went to the bar for a drink. Five minutes later a bouncer came up and told me to sit straight as if I was his small child. So I sat up as he told me. Then he starts talking to me like Im drunk, high, and stupid. Ive never been talked to with such disrespect, and Ive served in the Marines for five long years. He then tells me to leave. I ask him why. He told me that I was too drunk. Ive never had a drink in my life. Ive never done drugs. I dont do poison. I told him that I needed to get my boyfriend. He calls the cops. I asked him his name. He told me Wison. By the time he told me that, the cops were already on the second floor. He told them that I was severely drunk and high. He said that I was sleeping on the couches and he had to violently shake me to wake me. I had to leave without my boyfriend. This was my first time on sixth street. Never going back. Do not get the hype.
The Maggie Maes is a 6th Street sports bar, an authentic English Pub, a New Orleans style courtyard under the stars & different live music stages. On the day of visit live music was a bit poor but Okey since we did not pay any entrance cover.
We went to Maggie Maes on a visit to Austin just on a whim and were reminded again why Austin is so great. I had never heard of a singe person playing that night, but it was outstanding music. Planning to just stop in for a drink, we stayed for 4 hours listening to killer Austin blues, ending up with a night well never forget. Thanks Austin, and thanks to Maggie Maes.
One of the older, more famous places on this part of 6th St. Old architecture. You definitely have to check this place out if you havent before. You will see a large amount of rowdy college kids if you stay late. Some drunk girl threw a Red Bull at me last time I was here haha!
Although this place gets crazy crowded, with the amount of space, it never seems that bad and I always seem to get a drink. Multiple floors and bars make it easy to find a good spot. And their drink specials rock!
One of my favorite places to go in Austin when in town to relax. Love sitting on the roof and just people watching. Cheap and good drinks, great music.
The one bartender that was there ( I believe his name was Greg but I don’t remember) was great, friendly and attentive. I talked to him about the past bad reviews of the place but he told me that they had gotten fired so please pass by this place for some good service and friendly staff
Always a great place to go to get the 6th Street experience. A long time Austin hangout. Great live bands and good atmosphere. All types of people go here.
Uhhhhh, where to start..1- Extremely good food.2- Extremely nice people behind the bar and. As. well great people prepping the food.3- Extremely great beer, did i say extremely great beer.
Love the new antique bar here. Maggies is much expanded from its original days. Bars come and go regularly on 6th street. Somehow maggie Maes survives. Thats a good thing. Lot of good music too.
This bar has the feel of New Orleans. There are several different rooms and each room has a different theme. I know its good for them but its annoying how crowded it can get sometimes.
THE LIVE music is the reason Ive came back last weekend I traveled from fort worth an it was worth it I liked the food service was ok kinda slow but its ok was busy.I would recomnand this place to friends. an will continue to visit when in Austin. .
Beer was good was there for a twitch after party. For #Dreamhack2018Layout is nice but can get crowded on the lower level depending on the weather.
We were here for a work event and since the drink tickets were free and aplenty, we enjoyed the place. Oh they also had some delicious chicken sliders.
Good, clean bar. Really good American eats. Would go back again next time I’m in the area! Can seat a big party if you have one.
The down Stairs bartender Alyssa was amazing tonight. Very attentive and quick with the drinks. Even caught me on the upsell. Definitely a diamond in the industry.
A member of the security staff comes up to my two female friends, and informs them youre done, its time to leave. A little surprised by this since the two of them were quietly chatting at the second story railing, they question him. He then proceeded to start pushing the two towards the exit, again saying, your done ladies. Seeing this I run over to find out what possible reason this was happening. Apparently one had dropped a drink of the railing into the floor below. After a short back and forth with the security guard, me, the two girls, two more of my friends all started leaving. The security guard followed us as he and I went back and forth verbally. As we were exiting I was walking backwards towards the door. The verbal back and forth continued as he started shoving me in my chest in what seemed an attempt to knock me over. With each shove, I gently tapped the bill of his hat with my index finger. As we made it to the top of the stairs, I made one last quip to emasculate the smaller guy, and he attempted to ump over the railing to attack me. I put my hand out to stop him, gently grabbed his has and tossed it a few feet behind him in attempt to buy time and get out of Maggie Maes.A security guard was waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs. As I was about five steps from the bottom, the smaller security guard had ran down the stairs and attempting to tackle me from behind by jumping onto my back and choking me. I maintained my balance, trying to shrug him as I continued down the stairs. The older, balding security guard proceeds to come at me, and I grab his head with both hands to lock up. He begins punching my chest and sides. Still, I continue towards the door.As we get into the doorway, a third security guard from inside headbutts me in the side. This was my last conscious memory. From video I have seen and friend accounts, I was able to derive the following. A fourth staff member hit me as the gang drove me past the sidewalk and onto the street. Limp and motionless, the attacker continued to choke me for roughly ten seconds after I was already unconscious on the street. The gang proceeded to kneel on me shoving of any defendants, and ignoring any pleas for reason.A short time after coming to, I was informed by APD that Maggie Maes no longer wished to press charges on me
Alright pub in a lively neighbourhood of Austin. It has two floors and different areas which makes it suitable for private events and groups. Attention: the bloody Marys come from the bottle.
Huge bar with multiple places to order drinks - however, its always so busy it still takes forever to get a drink. Like this bar around winter time only. When its hot outside it may be one of the most uncomfortable bars on 6th.
Great gig location. Ive played there a few times. Bartenders are good and friendly and the house sound man is excellent.
WARNING:Owner steals tips paid to the servers on credit cards. (Allegedly) make sure you pay tips in cash to avoid these scummy and unethical business ownersAlso the food here isn’t that great so Go somewhere else to eat if you don’t want to support unethical people.
Very cool atmosphere. Hands down best experience. Nice bartenders and live music was great.
If I could remember more about my experiences at Maggie Maes, I would write about them here. The fact that I cant remember much is enough to give them a four star rating based solely on the amount of fun Ive had at this establishment in days now long past.
The music was good, and we had a place to dance off by ourselves by the bar. The mix drinks could have been better, but we had fun.
Awesome place! Love the drinks and music!!! Not too crowded during winter time when I came. It was cold and not a lot of people. 👍
Got a spicy burger and it was actually spicy.Great Chef for a bar Great draft beer specials. Lot of selections of entertainment available
We had a great afternoon here! We played bags, skee ball, and made friends with the bartender he was super funny. A great day drinking spot 😀
Great bar on 6th street. Nice courtyard on lower level and great outside seating upstairs. Two stages for live music.
Excellent music, varying from modern hip hop to old classics, great drink specials on domestic and mixed drinks. Definitely will return.
Great spot! on the Wednesday night we were there with temps in the 40s they were one of the few places on 6th with fun, live music
Maggies is nice if you want to perch up on the balcony any watch the 6th St revelers walk by. It is always crowded on the weekend and especially for any holidays and football games.
Great view. Weak drinks. Good music venue during SXSW, but otherwise too young of a crowd for 30 year olds.
If you want to here a great DJ come here on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays. He spins the hit and makes you move. Drinks are great and strong.
If youre in Austin and wanting to experience Dirty 6th this is definitely a place to stop. Everyone is nice if youre nice to them, and has plenty of fun people watching.
My honey & I love going for their Houston Texans watch parties. Free food, raffles, good drinks, & crazy good energy. #GoTexans
Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Cool setup on roof top stage for live music.
I Freakin Love this place, TO DEATH!! As a native Austinite, this place satisfies my 24hr need for breakfast. EVERYTHING on the menu is damned delicious, if I may say so myself.
Rad setting. Staff were very friendly. The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely ginormous and delicious, a must stop when in Austin.
Stand on the corner left of the rooftop facing the road and you can hear the live music from three different bars 😎🤠(including the one youre standing on)
Liked the open verandah on the ground level, with the option of viewing the stage or heading to the top level for dance floor and discotheque.
Maggie Maes is one of my favorite venues on 6th Street. Great for bands, people watching and economical drinks.
Very open venue area that makes live music really nice to watch. Cool bar set up.
This is one of my go to bars on 6th! The rooftop provides excellent people watching, and usually isnt too crazy on most nights!
Great music. On Wednesdays a rock cover band called The Genders plays, awesome vibe
I like the rooftop deck you can look down on 6th street. Plenty of different areas to get a drink so you dont have to keep going up or down.
Cool venue. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in and several bars. Fun games downstairs and live music upstairs.
Terrible staff. Treated us poorly from the moment we stepped in. Understand it was busy, but you should try to treat people like PEOPLE, please. I wont be back to see if you take this advice though...
First time on 6th St! This place was awesome! Lots of young sexy guys and girls! Lol Cant wait to go again!
Old institution on Sixth. Great bar for visitors to Austin. Great service and good local live music.
Nice open area. Drinks are good. While i was there a fundraiser was going on so drinks were free.
Super fun atmosphere! Live bands are always sweet and the people are super nice!
Good music and good drinks. Didnt spend a lot of time here. But the staff was nice.
Awesome bar. Huge place with two stories and two stages. Always have a great time here.
The rooftop was great & live music was pretty impressive. Had a rude bartender but overall Id say it was a nice experience.
I go here to listen to music and see my friends. Anyone who says the door staff is rude has probably just been carded and had no legal I.d. Those goes do work and catch hell for it but I know firsthand these are good people.
Went up to the roof to smoke a cigar. Really nice atmosphere, but $7 local beers are way pricey.
Meh, it was okay. Served good local brew pub brews. Nice rooftop patio that over looked 6th Street. Food was, meh, ok. AMIRIGHT?
Fun downtown spot with a rooftop that overlooks the bustling historic 6th street! Great atmosphere and service.
Good mix of nineties and recent hip hop. Rooftop deck and very friendly diverse crowd.
Fun environment but the drinks were mediocre at best and the staff was not the friendliest. Would probably avoid on my bar runs.
One of the best rooftop bar on 6th Street! Live music and quick bar service.
Youll love this if you dont mind underage kids stumbling over themselves spilling beer all over the place or if you dont mind the smell of dried vomit. Theres a reason they call it dirty 6th
I was there in the early 80s and it was a rocking place back then ,I met a few celebrities on 6th street and always had a good time
Great atmosphere with several different areas to pick from, always awesome music and the best patio in Austin!
Badd ass 5 to 3 years ag9.many changes..bands were better but Alan Haynes 8s the staple..bartender s cool bathrooms clean
Great location, local bands, good service. Drink prices are comparable to the rest of E 6th Street.
Went for a company event. Great environment, great drinks, soooo mannnny drinks! If youre in Austin, you should visit!
Interesting place, food is very mediocre, wouldnt recommend Maggie Maes. There are plenty of other restaurants to try out around Austin!
Ive mostly been here for events, but I really like it - so many levels for different experiences. Cool spot.
Totally had a NOLA feel to it! Live music that was catchy, and a great atmosphere!
2 indoor zones and a large rooftop. Music is hit and miss. The group last night was a great hit!
I really like Maggie Maes for the atmosphere it has. Great place for late night drinks and people watching on West 6th.
Definitely a stop on our 6th st adventures, live music + upstairs bar with a great view.
Nice bar with a band not very many places to sit. Drinks reasonable.
So much fun! The murals are kitschy-cool, good drinks, great people.
Dirty 6th live music venue and bar, a fun joint, nice patio that overlooks 6th Street.
No matter what time you wander in to this place its the place you need to be. They have fantastic bands too!
An original, always a good time, nice and open, upstairs and downstairs. Usually a live band as well or a dj
Went here last weekend and gave it 2 stars for scenery but the service was terribad.Bar tender ignored us so i drank nothing
Great people, great band and a good place to kick back and chill out
Good drink prices. We had a lot of fun and will go back next time we are in town.
Fabulous time. Great drinks and upbeat party atmosphere on the deck.
Great alternative if you dont want country. We went 2 nights, both were rock nights 🤘🏽
Great live music, friendly bartenders, affordable drinks!
What a great rooftop area. Band playing and a wonderful caual atmosphere.
The door staff is extremely rude. They interrogate you about your ID and its ultimately not worth the hassle. Go next door to the Blind Pig
Dont really like their go to DJ, but the layout of the space is cool.
Friendly workers, clean and stocked bathrooms, but no lemonade. Great music
Great venue. Great service. Three music stages during #SXSW
Live music was great, not sure how everyone copes with the Austin heat... We love this place
If you want to have ice thrown at you for no reason by a by a bartender, go here. Worst experience I have had at a bar. Avoid at all costs.
Im not generally a fan of 6th street, but I wont deny that Maggie Maes is one of the better places to be.
Red bull and vodka was horrible, but they had a fun band and fun rooftop view
Great rooftop patio and good local acts, this place is a must stop on 6th street.
Great bar with live music, games and rooftop overlooking 6th St
Always a 6th street staple. Go to the rooftop bar and people watch. Great views.
Great service and good music. Went a little early and was pretty slow.
Maggie Maes is a favorite hangout. The drink prices are very very reasonable and the staff is friendly.
Dirty 6th isnt really my scene, but this place is tolerable. Nice rooftop patio.
Nice especially when its good weather out, the rooftop has a lot of space and some couches!
Biker bar without the bikers. Very touristy place, but a good place to go if you want to bro out.
Cool bar with live music, drinks not too expensive either.
Fun downtown bar, open mic during some weekdays, great djs on the weekends.
The suckies bartender what a dick and not in good kind half ass place bc of one douche#Juan is as worthless as a good pair of tites on a nun
Nice place! This place is huge, has upstairs and downstairs and different sections. WIn
Fun venue, usually has really good shows during SXSW
Love this bar. Great place to hang out with the friends or coworkers.
The band kept testing for like 30 minutes and never played they need to get a music technician that doesnt kill the mood
Fantastic live music and a very sweet, beautiful bartender
Have fun drinking and dancing here. Live music and great crowd.
Pretty good for a Saturday night. Was only downstairs. Worth a visit
Good music, great rooftop. Fun atmosphere.
Amazing drinks and staff great live music
Cheap beer & great music in a historic venue that has been around since 1978. whats not to love?
I just witnessed the bouncer kick out every person of color in the place because one girl complained about an unidentifiable brown guy. It was repulsive.
They could use some Highland malt scotch! Other than that, the place is great
Typical 6th street bar overlooking the road. Nice views and people watching!
Amazing employees and great drinks. Everyone was extremely polite and cordial.
Great place to drink on 6th!!! Staff takes great care of people
Their rooftop has a view of 6th St thats great for people watching!
