Dont get the wax. My wife got a wax and there was so much stubble and hair left. They said they gave my wife a promo and now theyre telling me to pay more, so essentially theyre going back on their word. This place has gone downhill so bad.
I have been a client of Europhoria for years and absolutely love every service they offer. From the medical spa treatments to massages and tanning, I’m obsessed.One of the best parts about being a client is the easy monthly payment program. They run a credit system based on your monthly membership. Those credits build up month over month for services.BECOME A MEMBER!!!
I went in to have a pedicure and was told I needed an appointment. I kindly waited while one of the receptionist finished scheduling several appointments for another client while the other receptionist kept her back turned away. I sat down to make sure I was not in the walkway. Several additional clients came inside and out of the rooms after their appointments and were assisted. I finally walked up to the counter and was greeted by the receptionist who initially had her back turned away when I first arrived. Apparently she decided to assist after other clients arrived. Anyway, the initial receptionist approached after I informed the receptionist I was waiting to schedule a pedicure, after I asked her if she had forgotten I was waiting she apologized. I didn’t buy the fact that she forgot about me because there’s only two chairs in the waiting room and the area is rather small. There’s no way she didn’t see me sitting there patiently waiting. Basically, I felt offended and out of place being an African American woman in this establishment. Because apparently my request for service didn’t appear as important as the other Caucasian women since they were immediately assisted. I will not be returning and do not recommend this facility.
I went in to tan today for the first time with a gift card I received. I went in first in the stand up tan, it was really clean and hannah was really sweet and professional. She showed me just how to use it and what to do. Very knowledgeable in the way she explained how to apply the tan lotion. I then went to the next room which was the bed and that was very relaxing and clean also, I enjoyed every second of it and I will most definitely be coming back again !
I have been going to Eurotan Spa since 2015. The service is amazing. I’ve never had a bad visit. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. I love the tanning beds because you don’t burn. I’ve gotten great results is just a few sessions. The facials are amazing because I have super dry skin. They offer great facial products too. The facial products are the best I’ve ever used. I won’t go back to generic facial products in stores because they don’t work for me. You get what you pay for and it’s totally worth it!! I love it. Thanks to the staff for always giving great service.
You dont always get what you pay for....$75 for the worst manicure Ive ever had. Who does manicures with hot towels and no water ? Warm wrap is definitely not for me, and there are no other options. And before any moisture or cream was applied, she started scraping back my cuticles...ouch!!! I canceled my pedicure while I was there after they told me their pedicures are also warm wrap.....NOT my cup of tea.
If you’ve ever wanted a perfect spa day, the dream team to book is Patricia, Twila, and Jenna! Patricia is a perfectionist when it comes to her work and since becoming a regular client of hers painful cracked heels and ingrowns have all but become nonexistent for me. I also love that I can come in with a general idea of what color I want and she puts it all together. If you’re looking for a magical touch, Twila creates a peaceful environment for massages and her ability to vary in pressure is top notch. Jenna always brings the positivity and there to listen and chat, making waxing easy (by distracting you 😂) even in the most sensitive of areas. I’ve gotten other services from Europhoria over the past couple of years, but in the past year I have had this trio on the same day a few times in 2022 and was never disappointed. Every visit with this dream team has been exceptional.The only thing I recommend to anyone joining is to keep in mind asking about your points before booking so that you know you have enough to cover your services. The ladies can get a bit busy in the front and I feel bringing up points through your membership that are left versus how much is out of pocket gets forgotten sometimes. Otherwise, best membership for self care I’ve probably ever invested in.
Love the Euro’s in Bakersfield! They’re always so nice and professional! The soothing music in the background is perfect - sets a relaxing vibe to the experience. Definitely recommend - especially for some relaxing “me time”!

I have been a member at Euro Tan Stockdale for 19 years. I can not say enough about how amazing this location and staff is! Debbie (who has been there for as long as I can remember) is so incredibly professional, kind hearted and has impeccable customer service. She has always gone above and beyond for not just me, but my family. From day one Debbie has always had a positive attitude and excelled in maintaining a great attitude. I went for a signature wrap manicure, which was supposed to be an hour, but was maybe 40 minutes. The manicurist was behind on schedule. The wrap consisted of hot towels on my arms as she was doing my nails. No relaxing hand/arm massage, it was a quick rub down with a cream, then a few drops of supposedly mask stuff on my arms, wrapped in hot towels. Nail polish only lasted 2 days. I had a gift card and would have been very upset if I had to pay $90.00 for this so-called signature wrap manicure. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the whole experience and will not be back.The staff was very friendly, the lobby was clean and looked high end.Not sure where the Euro comes from but Ive had much better spa experiences in Europe for less cost.
I have been a member of Eurotan on Stockdale Hwy for many years! I have a very crazy schedule and the staff always manages to accommodate me no matter what! Deb and Marissa are especially helpful, my time for that little bit of self love is precious to me, especially during the stress of this pandemic. The staff makes sure that the environment is clean, calm, and enjoyable every time.
I’ve been a member of Eurotan Spa for many years and have specifically fallen in love with the many different facials they offer! I always book with Haley, she makes the incredibly relaxing experience even better, I highly recommend her and Eurotan Spa in general! Great place with great offers and great people!
I absolutely love coming here! The staff is great & so so friendly ! I highly recommend coming here for all your tanning/beauty needs. I was gifted the signature warm wrap pedicure from my sister for Christmas and it was the BEST thing EVER. 1 hour and a 1/2 of pure relaxation !! I don’t think I could go back to regular pedicures now lol.
I love every experience Ive had at EuroPhoria! All three locations have tended to my needs wonderfully and the services have been great. Ive had services done in regards to the medical, spa and tanning aspects and I truly believe the customer service was like no other during my appointments. I will always come back.
Its super clean, workers are nice. After I was asked to sit in waiting area for my facial, noone came to see if I needed anything. I was on time, and waited for 25 before I was taken to room. My facial was cut short, , the therapist said her machine was acting weird. I paid a good penny for my first facial. I wont do it again. I dont know what I thought I was getting for my money, but it wasnt that.
Was really skeptical of getting my first spray tan but ever since my first one with Hannah at Europhoria I keep going back! Good vibes and I felt so comfortable, not to mention how good my spray tan looked!! Any event I always hit up Hannah, she’s the best!
I began tanning here a few months ago and I absolutely love it! I now get my facials done by Sydney, who is amazing. My mom and I went for a pedicure last weekend and it was the most relaxing and stress relieving experience. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a true spa experience!
I’ve been going to Euro Spa Tanning on Stockdale and their other locations for over 20 years. I always have a pleasant experience and they are very thorough with appointments and fitting me in. I’m always greeted with a smile. And always get excited to be able to go back. I highly recommend Euro Spa on Stockdale. It will not disappoint.

I just started spraying here very recently and I haven’t spray tanned in a very long time. The staff is absolutely amazing; incredibly kind and informative. Tiffany was super sweet and answered all of my questions! I can’t wait to come back and spray again. If you’re considering a membership, I recommend this location to meet all of your personal needs. If you have 1,000 questions like I did too, I also recommend talking to Tiffany or Hannah.
I’ve been to many different businesses around town trying to find a good esthetician to clean up my face. I work in the oil industry and my face gets destroyed with dirt and oil. Kristy did an outstanding job on my face and it looked and felt amazing. Also, the staff were all nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. I believe the lady in charge was Debbie she showed me around the facility and was such a great help. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants anything dealing with horrible skin and blackheads. Top notch facility
Horrible customer service. Appointments are never available unless you are free in the middle of the day. Most appointments have to be made up to a month in advance. My appointments have been routinely cancelled by them. Today, I got stuck in traffic trying to make it to my appointment after work. I called 3 times before reaching someone. The first time I called was over an hour before my appointment.There was an officer involved shooting that shut down the highway causing alternative routes to be extremely backed up. I was trying to be courteous and let them know Id be late due to the shut down of HWY 99 and ask if they could still accommodate me.On the third call, after almost an hour of calling (while I was sitting in traffic) I finally reached someone. At 5:52, I told them I was about 20 minutes away. The response was that they could wait 10 minutes after my appointment.... So until 6:10, but not until 6:12. When I explained that I dont live in Bakersfield and this was the only reason I was coming into town and didnt want to get there and then be turned away, they again told me they would wait until 6:10 for me. But, they couldnt accommodate me even if I waited until after the other people were done.... So why would I do anything except turn around and go home?This place will cancel your appointments at the last minute and then refuse to see you because you are late (but pretend they are doing you a favor). If they would have answered the phone the first two times I called (or returned my call) I wouldnt have spent nearly an hour sitting in traffic trying to make it to my appointment.If you want to never use your points, the Euro company will happily take your money.
I had my first Brazilian done today by Jenna. I was so nervous, but she made me so comfortable. She did an amazing job and I’ll definitely be back!
UPDATE JUNE 2019For being voted Best of Bakersfield numerous times Management and corporate should have it figured out. Scheduling issues, payment issues, and Im pretty sure OSHA issues have been in abundance.My payments didnt go through two months in a row and I had to call and inform them and then they tell me we will waive the late fee. This isnt the first time my payment didnt go through either. It also did it when I first started my membership a few years ago AND NO ONE IN BILLING NOTICED until i called and told them (i hadnt done services for a few months and honestly forgot too at that time. Now I get services done regularly so I notice if they take my paymentor not).Scheduling and communication is a mess. I have always requested my services from specific staff members and have now had to rescheduled multiple appointments after finding out on my own that my requested tech was not available afterall. I was going to show up to my appointment and have someone else provide my service not who I requested if I had not called back and checked myself.Not to mention their computers are always on the fritz at Stockdale and it takes forever for the receptionists to do anything (check in/out, point balances, schedules). Buy them a new rig! stop being cheap and help your staff provide excellent service by giving them WORKING equipment! Its ridiculous! Youre failing your own staff! This has been happening for months now!Now Im being told that services HAVE to be provided in a certain time window. My esthetician does a full face wax in about 25 minutes if not 20. She is fast and excellent. She does not need a 40 minute to an hour time frame. So I would schedule for a service for a service with a smaller window so it would also free up her schedule too. I wouldalso tell receptionto charge me for the face wax charge to makesure I payed accordingly. Now Im being told Management is not letting staff schedule this way anymore. Why? who knows?! it has never been a problem. Why are you restricting your staff and services?Something needs to change. This is why I will never upgrade to a higher tier in membership or recommend a membershipto friends. I always say membership isnt worth gettingtied into just pay cash and dontget locked in. If it wasnt for the excellent techs I would have cancelled my membership before it renewed (in fact i might just take my own advice). If my techs were to ever leave or relocate to a different spa I WILL BE TOO. Get it together best of Bakersfield.I in no way blame the staff. I usually go for the nail services provided at the Stockdale location and love that Kelli is amazing, talented, and professional. She loves her craft and shows it through her skill and knowledge of the products and services offered. For waxing services I see Kate who always leaves my eyebrows flawless. My husband is also on my membership for a small additional fee. He is big and tall and enjoys the pedicure services and massages. We love our membership and staff is always kind. If there ever is an issue theyve always made it right. This is the perfect place to treat yourself.
I was recently gifted services with EuroTan and as a first timer I was a little nervous! Marissa L. was extremely sweet & helpful in getting my services scheduled quickly and efficiently. The rest of the staff at EuroTan STOCKDALE was also helpful and accommodating. The services were AMAZING and I can’t wait to schedule my next visits!
I love getting massages here, I never want to leave when my appointment is over! The girls up front are very helpful and the service providers treated me well. Would recommend coming here if you are looking for a pampering escape :)
Cancelled my membership back in January and here we are April 1st and I am still being charged. Spoke with Hannah in February and she assured me I won’t be charged anymore. Tiffany doesn’t return calls and nobody answers the damn phone. But if I show up to the salon, I’m told I have to call. Unprofessional, and do not recommend anyone waste their money here!
The most comfortable tanning bed I’ve ever been in. The staff is always professional and friendly. I can go for months without tanning and it hardly fades. Once you have your base tan, once or twice a week will maintain it.

Never disappoints. Today I was here (stockdale location)for a Vita facial and a Dermasweep. Check in process was very easy & i appreciate all the precautions they have implemented for the current world we live in. I was greeted by a very welcoming and friendly young lady, Mariah. Totally relaxing experience and my face feels heavenly. Coming back for a full body massage in a couple weeks. 👍🏽
I had a membership at Eurotan and loved it when I used it! The staff were always kind and went out of their way to offer their best advice. Get your nails done, get an aroma-therapy massage, and tan, and youll be looking and feeling fabulous!!
I am a member at Europhoria and usually dont have issues with staff or services at any other location but this one is the WORST! I made an appointment for a Dermasweep and when I arrived they checked me in as if everything was fine. I wait and wait and wait and finally ask the front desk what the holdup is. They make me wait some more. Then they finally confess that the esthetician never showed up and thats that. So I called the corporate office to lodge a complaint and was informed that the manager would call me back. I got a call back, but it wasnt from the manager. Again, no real assistance other than Im sorry so I inform them that the Dermasweep was for a special event and I felt the least they could do was comp me a Dermasweep since not only did no one inform me before I arrived (its about a 20 min. drive) but they also made me sit with no information. Thankfully, they did comp that service.However, another time I booked a gel mani/pedi because I had received gift certificates. The experience was fine other than it being awkward that my nail tech had to sit on the floor to paint my toes (the spa couldnt spring for elevated chairs so I didnt have to see my techs thong while she was bent over?) and 2 1/2 hours later it was over. However, this was the WORST gel manicure I had ever received. It ended up chipping in several places over the next week and lifting in several spots as a result of the chipping. I always get gels on my nails (my usual tech is not affiliated with Europhoria) and Ive never had an issue with chipping or lifting. For what the spa charges for a gel mani/pedi I thought it would have turned out better. All in all, very unhappy with this particular location.
I had a massage done a few weeks ago by Christie and it was great! This location is very clean and staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Bella helped me answer all of the questions I had about their services. I cant wait to come back!
This was definitely such an amazing experience. Every time i come in, I feel the awesome atmosphere. Its absolutely the highlight of my day every time I go. I 100% recommend coming in and trying them out because its worth it!! Everyone is so nice!!!! Not to mention its such a beautiful location!!!!!!
There are so many things to love about this place, amazing facials massages nails and tanning. Today I had the pleasure of receiving a refreshing pedicure from Becky, and I was not disappointed!!! I did a gelish add-on so we started with that, and it was fun salon talk as I picked from the wide selection of colors (ended up choosing a deep plum color for fall) and after the gel had set we moved into the pedicure room, and let me tell you- THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!! When you sit in the plush leather chairs you are reclined into an almost laying position with your feet lifted, and covered with a blanket and given an eye pillow. This Refreshing pedicure is a 30 minute appointment and I have never been more relaxed by a pedicure... my feet were wrapped in warm towels as the chair preformed a gentle rolling massage motion, I practically melted in the best way! The foot massage was even more amazing and the atmosphere was top notch, I will be sending my mom as here birthday gift and recommending to anyone that will listen!!!

3rd entry: Whoever is texting me and i have the number will not stop harassing me I asked her to stop! Making comments and being sarcastic. All because I did not want money taken out of my account illegally. I guess we have to go to court because they will not back off. Unprofessional and demeaning statements. Shame on Eurotan2nd entry: in the Contract item # 17 states they will not take money out of my account if they are unable to provide services. Yet they did it without notice. Please read part #1 below:So the Stockdale office in Bakersfield, Ca continued to take money out of my account without permission after they closed due to the corona virus. I did not receive a notice and when I called they of course said they sent an email explaining they were going to give us euros . The cost is approximately a 100.00 dollars a month for no services. Why did they assume other people were not experiencing the same problem financially. To expect people to pay for services not rendered. I realize your companys clients are Wealthier than me and 100 a month is nothing to them.Finally they refunded me the money and today i seen they charged my account once again. I called no answer they are closed, I sent a message they responded with I can cancel the contract and pay a fee and they will be happy to sent me a copy of where i signed. I am sure i did not sign a contract stating I would pay a monthly fee when services are not available. This is not a little mom and pop but they are rude and spiteful. They sent me a tiktok app. They say they are transparent I agree you made it perfectly clear what your company is about. You discriminate on people who you consider beneath you.
I love Euro Tan Spa Stockdale! I’ve been a member at this location for years and it is my favorite by far. The staff is absolutely amazing, wouldnt go anywhere else.
My girlfriend came and got a few services done by a aesthetician named Carter. She comes to her at least twice a month. I decided to come with her because my face hasnt been looking its best. Carter helped me by putting some product on and let me relax under a red light while sitting in a massaging chair while my gf did her things. It was so relaxing, and my face did a complete turn around. We love this place, and I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriend.

The service here has truly gone the wrong direction. I hope they get back what theyve lost. Too many calls and not enough call backs. A monthly subscription with no ability to use the service is frustrating. Now Ive accrued too many points to want to leave before spending them.
I LOVE THUS EURO TAN LOCATION. The woman who work that office location make all the difference in the world. Iv visited all Bakersfield EuroTan locations, and been a member for a few years. I always always. Feel better when I leave there.
