Wow, what an incredible experience! My partner and I recently visited cedar day spa for a Swedish massage, and it was truly blissful. The moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a serene atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful session. The facilities were spotless, and the ambiance was soothing.Our therapists were skilled and attentive, working out all the knots and kinks with ease. The pressure was perfect, and we both felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was clear that they took pride in their work, and it showed in every gentle stroke and soothing touch.We left feeling like melted butter, with huge smiles on our faces. If youre looking for a top-notch massage experience, look no further. We cant wait to go back

This place is AMAZING. Don’t be fooled by its humble outward appearance. They really go above and beyond to make sure the rooms are clean, relaxing and comfortable. The massage itself was so thorough and well balanced (between relaxation and deep structural work). I requested firm pressure and masseuse, Frank, had no problem delivering. I left feeling relaxed, and with less neck pain. They really provide a quality service for the price. My 60 minute massage felt like 90 minutes. I will definitely be going back!

We went here for a couples massage. Our first time doing this. The building looks a little sketchy on the outside, but it was clean on the inside.It was a hot day outside, and it felt like their air conditioning wasnt working. It mustve been over 80 degrees in the building, a little uncomfortable, but better than being cold I guess.The massage was fine and we enjoyed it. Nothing special, but nice enough.After we finished, I was waiting at the front desk for my wife. I asked the young woman at the desk where/to whom I should leave a tip. She said just to give it to her. I handed her a $20, and she scoffed and opened a drawer and threw the money in the drawer and closed it. . She then stood up and pointed to a chart on the wall which showed precisely how much customers were expected to tip for each type of service. The expected tip for a couples massage was around $35. I sheepishly pulled out another $15 and handed it to her. She just nodded and threw it in the drawer.I dont like being told how much to tip. Also I felt like $35 was more than what was appropriate for what we received. In addition the womans rude manner, basically demanding a larger tip really rubbed me the wrong way. (Pun intended)Response: Yes Jasmine, Im absolutely sure it was Cedar Day Spa on Gem Lane in Beaverton. Sorry I referred to the woman as a young woman. And yes, there absolutely was a sign saying what the recommended tip was, and everything Ive said here is the truth. A little advice: Dont deflect. Just a simple apology and well try to do better goes a long way.

My partner and I went in today for a couples massage. This was my first ever massage, and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were very professional and kind. They checked in multiple times during the massage to make sure we were comfortable and that they were using a good amount of pressure. They were very respectful with the draping, and I never felt over exposed or uncomfortable with the massage, which I was worried about before my appointment. I hope to return to Cedar Day Spa soon, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a massage.

Wonderful! The facility was clean and smelled nice, and our masseuses did a PHENOMENAL job - the perfect amount of pressure. Coconut oil helped their gliding hands get all the knots out of my back. Totally worth it!!!

I am dumbfounded!! My husband and I came here several weeks ago and had a couples massage. We liked it so much, we said we would definitely come back. I saw that they did reflexology and it had been a long time since I had a reflexology foot massage so I scheduled an appointment today at 2 PM for a 60 minute foot massage. I got there at 1:50 and they told me that I was too early and I needed to wait. I said that’s fine and then a few minutes later another man walked in and said he had a 2 o’clock Massage and she proceeded to help him right away, brought him into a room, and then nobody ever came to help me until 210. I said my name is Angie Greene I have a 2 PM foot massage. These people do not speak hardly any English. Most of your conversations take place over Google translator. She tells the man some thing in Chinese and he brings me into a massage room and points at the sign on the wall that says for your massage, please remove your clothing that is comfortable for you and then looks at me and says face down. He leaves the room and I’m thinking I have never had a foot reflexology massage on a massage table before. I went out there and told him I have a foot massage not a full body massage but he doesn’t understand what I’m saying so he gets his phone and has me speaking to Google translator and I repeat the same thing he brings me back into the room again and points at the sign and then says face down. I think to myself OK this is very strange, but maybe this is how they do it and I take off my pants and lay face down. Then he comes in and gets really frustrated and pulls on my shirt and says something to me in Chinese and leaves. I thought why do I need to take off my shirt? I’m only having a foot massage so I get him and tell him I am only having a foot massage. Why do I have to take off my shirt and then he just points out the sign again and I thought OK this is really strange but OK I’ll take off my shirt and then I lay down and he comes in and now he’s really frustrated and proceeds to unlatch my bra and try to take my bra off, I say whoa no do not touch my bra. He again says something to me in Chinese and I said I am only having a foot massage then he leaves the room. He comes back by this time it’s like 230 and he starts giving me a full body massage so I thought. He rubbed my shoulders and my back and my butt for about 30 minutes, flipped me over then spent about five minutes on both feet and my legs and then we were done. Never did I get what I paid for, and I definitely felt like I was harassed. I was super frustrated and had a headache by this point and left. It’s very safe to say that I will not be back to this establishment.

Had an awesome massage from Henry! I think he worked out knots I didnt even know I had. There is a bit of a language barrier but who cares! They even added hot stones for no extra charge, and he made great use of them. I feel like a new person!

We just had a really great deluxe 60 minute couples massage with Jasmine and Amy. They were both super wonderful, they both did an awesome job working out the knots in our backs. Hot towel, hot stones, a great face and scalp massage, and overall a great experience. The place is clean and they are fast and friendly! My partner and I queer and felt welcome here. Best massage I’ve had in awhile!! Highly recommend:)

It was my partner and I’s first time visiting a massage place. The staff were very friendly and professional. The couples massage room had a relaxing atmosphere. Our nerves calmed down quickly once the massage started. They worked the knots out of my partners back. 10/10 massage totally recommend.

We booked for a couple of massages in this place for the first time. We wont be back for sure. They were using a lot of elbows to massage my back and arms. Disappointed. One of the therapists took breaks twice during the massage. They have abrupt technique massages.

I had the most incredible experience here. My masseuse, Amy, was truly an expert in her field. She made me feel comfortable, and when I asked for extra time to be spent on my lower back, she happily obliged. She was contently making sure she was applying the correct amount of pressure, and she even would stop if I got too ticklish. We did have a small issue at the end with their payment system (which isnt their fault), and they immediately ended up refunding the double charge. At the end of the day, Amy is INCREDIBLE and I will definitely be coming back here :)

Under new ownership.Anybody giving a bad review in the past may want to give it another try. Very clean and professional. I wish I remembered the masuesses name (she even had a name tag on her uniform) she did a great job working the knots out of my shoulders. Very attentive about asking about pressure needs. Seems they are serious about changing their reputation.

I had a lot of knots throughout my body so I had a deep tissue massage with Henry. He did an amazing job. I felt so much better afterwards.

My fiancé got us a deluxe couples massage here and we both feel renewed and rejuvenated! The facility is very, very clean, and the staff are super sweet. I have old back injuries and the way that they were able to work out the knots and kinks in my back is super impressive. I seriously feel like I could easily run a marathon after getting a massage from them! The price is also well, well worth it. We made sure to tip extra well. Would definitely recommend!

I booked a last minute deep tissue massage because after working long hours at an emergency and also this snow storm we got, I needed a little tlc. This was by far the ABSOLUTE BEST massage I have ever gotten! Not only were different techniques used, but the massage tech listened to my body and where I needed it the most. They were kind, friendly and very thorough. I love the fact that it isnt ridiculously priced as well. Ive already convinced my husband to get a couples massage 🙂

The massage was relaxing, but not like the traditional style massage I have usually enjoyed. The hot rocks were a pleasant addition. Still, I wouldnt come back just for that.

I had a solo massage at Cedar Day Spa with Maik. It was just what I needed. It doesnt have the look of a high-end or corporate spa but the massage was excellent, facility was clean, and the staff were very kind and receptive. I highly recommend.

Amy is the single best massage therapist I have known. I booked this treatment on Groupon and was not sure what to expect but I can assure you that you will leave more relaxed and pain free than when you arrived.

Absolutely exceptional service. Andy was my massage therapist today. He used perfect pressure and was lighter on more tender areas of my body. Very professional and relaxing environment. Going to make Cedar Day Spa a regular self-care ritual for myself. I recommend 1,000%!!!

UPDATE: Went and got a massage from David. He did amazing! The spa has really improved over the past few years. Gets better each visit. Highly recommend them if you are in need of a real deep tissue massage.I went to this spa and seriously received the best deep tissue massage Ive ever had. I told her my problem areas and she went to work! This is not a bougie day spa to be visually impressed but if you have pain or discomfort, this is the place to go to get help. Clean, professional and safe. Recommended!

I was able to get in on short notice. This is a family run business. Its clean and feels safe. Its in a small funky building. There are cute decorations.The massage tables are the older style table, which I actually found better for my sinuses. I was astonished at the quality of massage for such a good price. Andy was great. Pressure was great and when I asked for softer pressure I got it. Much time was spent on my poor neck. Even though I did not tell him where the hurt was he found it. They used coconut oil, which is great for my super sensitive skin. Hot stone was included in the 90 minute massage; it was awesome! A hot towel rub to remove oil was wonderful. I was also presented with a bottle of ice cold water and some candy at the end. I did realize that I should have talked about needs with the woman at the desk before the massage. Andy is amazing and intuitive so the language barrier was not a problem-I just no0w know for next time to communicate. I will definitely be back! Ive had massages at hand and stone and other places and this was by far much better. Who needs a fancy environment. Its the hands and heart that matter.I do get therapeutic massage-this was not that-and is not advertised as such.This helped the sore muscles, stress, and fatigue. I will definitely be returning. I left feeling relaxed and invigorated at the same time. I felt so good I bust out laughing in my car for no reason. Thank You!

Quality of the massage isnt as good with the new management. At least 6 interruptions in the 60 minutes. Pressure was good but very fast abrupt massages... Not relaxing.

Total hidden gem. Best prices in town for a deep tissue massage and the massage itself was fantastic. She got me in at a moments notice and really worked out all my knots. Don’t let the appearance of the place from the outside put you off. It is clean, professional, and comfortable inside, and you will get a high quality massage. Will definitely be going back.

What a great spot! Got a couples massage and both massage therapists were wonderful.

Rough love. She got some kinks out that I didn’t know I had. Maybe some might like it. Not really my style. A bit pinchy. The face hole was as big as a megaphone. Trying not to imagine how many other uncomfortable faces have stuck their faces here. Needs TLC big time. $70 is a bit steep to not be comfortable

It is affordable compared to other places and I will be coming back. It is not out of this world kind of experience but I got a really good massage and the service was what I needed.

OMG, she definitely took care of my body. I know the place looks a bit sketchy but she worked all the pain from sitting in front of a computer out of my tired and pain filled body/ muscles. She knows what shes doing and shes great, Im planning to go back next month hopefully I get the same lady. So try her out, you wont be disappointed. I left felling weightless and the body/ muscle relief was priceless.
