I will give a minus zero to this place.. the bathrooms dont work properly.Toilet dispensers dont hold the tissue. There is no paper towels to dry hands and soap to wash hands, and when it gets too full there is no cleaning person to at least maintain bathrooms clean.If you want to sit you have to pay close to $100 and the sitting and tables are in bad shape.Now they open Fridays for the Hispanics and is a disgrace how awful and bad shape is that place . I dont understand why bar owners dont keep their bars up to date. The only good thing there is the ladies that work there. They are so sweet and courteous and helpful.. other than that I wish I can meet the owner or owners to show all that is wrong with it.. but I doubt they would even read this. As long people go there and make money they dont care one bit. Next time will go and take pictures and video to show how awful this place is. And event the people that go there dont have the decency to at least say anything here about the place... It looks like a bar from a third world country.

I went to Lux Lounge with a few friends on a Saturday night. We paid for a section prior to getting to the club. Once we arrived, our waitress didn’t greet us properly. The initial bottle that we ordered wasn’t available. Not to mention one of my friends ordered a hookah but never received it. Everyone else who came after us kept receiving hookahs. The waitress wasn’t persistent at all when it came to making us feel comfortable in there establishment. We ordered a drink tower and we requested that we have a tequila sunrise. The waitress comes back and says to us that they don’t have any orange juice or pineapple juice. It’s very unprofessional to be missing items from your bar on a Saturday night. I highly wouldn’t recommend this club to anyone. The service was terrible and everything was delayed.

Everything is good expept one thing. The staff. I was pushed by one of the waitress hostess girls they were also making fun of the Spanish girls that were in dance competition. You need to change staff on Spanish nights racism goes both ways.

The environment was very hostile and closed off. My friend took me out to have a goodnight and when we walked it there was so one. It was a slow night so it wasn’t that much fun. We danced for a little bit and realized no one was having fun so I recommend somewhere else and paid for everyone to get it at the other place. We had so much fun at the other place and completely regret wasting our money here. Definitely will NOT be back. And will warn others to stay away.

Went on a very slow night. But yet received very poor service. I doubt the bartender even knew how to make a Long Island from the amount of time she spent on her phone before actually making my drink. Then to add insult to injury my card was taken outside of the establishment and swiped somewhere else before being returned to me. The record on my bank statements says Lux yet my receipt was actually addressed to another location. No item was even listed just a big fat double charge for one drink. Unless you want to spend 22 dollars on a improper Long Island just save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely reporting them to the BBB. Oh also the owners were informed and decided to yell about it instead of fixing it. Trust me I may be from out of town but I definitely tell everyone I met STAY AWAY.

Attended an Alumni event on 10/5/18. This was my first time in this particular club and while in the venue was bumped by a rather drunk patron to which I apologized and said excuse me. The guy became very upset and began to cause a scene to which I politely walked away to use tbe restroom. Upon returning, without warning was grabbed very aggressively and pushed multiple times until I was outside in front of the venue with no explanation to what I had done. MORAL OF THE STORY, This is not the place u want to go for a good time. Try the Plum Bar or Sleek. As a native to Birmingham, this was my worse experience in a club here.

Attended a so-called Lalah Hathaway concert at this venue, paid $30 for my ticket. Got there, people were looking upset and complaining about how late it was and the show had not started, at that time it was almost 10p. Bar service was okay, drink was not that good. Seating is weird, the stage set-up was so far away, everyone bunched up in certain sections. Concert finally started close to midnight. Lalah sang two songs and left the stage, really?? People started leaving, and so did I. Ridiculous to pay that amount of money waiting and the end result was a complete waste of time! Definitely disappointed and probably wont be back for any type of concert.

Very bad paid $70.00 for 2 tickets to see Lalah Hathaway, she song two songs and that was it after setting for 3 hrs for her to show. Looking like she had just stop by to see some friends after having gone to the store. Not dress for a show, well I should understand, because she did not give one just showed up. Would not go back or tell any friends.

Will never , ever go back to this pretend Luxe establishment with rickety broken tables, drinks with no garnishments or a promoter who has no idea what she is doing !!! Dont go here to see any artist!! They wont perform anywhere near a decent hour and they will only do 2 or 3 songs if that!! Save your money for a real venue!!

Everyone smokes inside and you smell terrible when you leave. Bartenders are slow and the regular dj needs to do better. How is this called Luxe but plays trap music all night.

We were maced after waiting patiently in line with our prepaid Lucci tickets. Id give zero stars if I had the option.

I forgot my I’d. I showed them a picture . They charged me 20 to get in . And then denied me my wrist band. I showed them my picture again. Still wouldn’t give my wrist band even tho I paid for it.

Great atmosphere.. Great service.. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.. Good music.. Clean tables and restrooms.. Good spot all the way around..

This is a nice location but it should be specific about where entrance is located being that this place used to be an automotive building I believe

Worst place every no where to sit for women with heels on I also been trying to get a hold to them for weeks now trying to book a party there and I get no response the staff is very unprofessional and a big ass joke

Im coming from Charlotte NC with a group of friends to spend the weekend here in Birmingham AL. The cashier at a store recommended this joint to me and I decided to try it.When we arrived at this club, no one welcomed us or thanked us, much less good night. 🚩The security man took my ID and urged me aggressively. I didnt take any notice of his aggressiveness because he was just doing his job very well.Upon entering, the cashier lady charged us $20.per person. It is not my habit to carry cash and they do not accept cards. That is fraudulent activity. 🚩 The cashier lady got upset with me because I asked her “What kind of club doesnt accept cards?” The lady was very rude with her attitude.We got a VIP table with the group of friends and ordered drinks for everyone. Not a single waiter showed up at our table at any time. We had to buy our drinks at the bar. Terrible service. I ordered a hookah and the employee told me that they are not good. 😂We left and when we left, the security man tried to touch a girls legs and her boyfriend asked him to respect her. This review has already gone on for a long time... to finish, the security guy threatened to hit us and then another security officer arrived (an officer) who treated us worse. The officer should have been reminded that his job is to protect the public; Dont push and threaten us.Notes: The DJ is not good. They smoke cigarettes inside (eww). The bathrooms are small and dirty (typical).
