Over the past few years, Ive experienced major body changes due to weight loss, I have myofascial pain syndrome and chronically knotted muscles, and Ive had a few injuries to boot. I did physical therapy for a whole year, I tried dry needling, I went to a chiropractor, and finally decided to try structural integration/alignment with Phil. Of all the things I tried, the structural integration was by far the most impactful--a couple of days after a session with Phil, and I would feel stronger and more stable in the gym, and maintaining good posture wasnt so challenging as before. The best part, though, is that the effects cumulate, and after 10+ sessions, the improvements Ive made have been huge. It takes time and commitment, and a little pain, but the results were worth it for me.
Philip is an extremely sensitive, intuitive and holistic practitioner. He is unlike any bodyworker I’ve ever worked with. Going through the Ten-Series posture balancing program helped to relieve tension and stress, opening up blocked areas on a physical and emotional level. Philip’s work on my rib cage is particularly helpful as it assists my body to perform my pranayama practice better and generally breathe better. I work at a desk all day typing which causes constant overuse of my hands, resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome. His bodywork has been helpful in correcting my habit of slouching and reducing the number of flair-ups and the intensity of the carpal tunnel syndrome. I feel more in tune with my body and aware of my posture as I sit, stand, or walk. He has been a savior and I could not recommend him more highly.
Went in to Phil on a referral, and was overly impressed with his awareness of the body, he worked my body in all my problem spots, don’t waste your time with a massage, go to this guy and let him get your body together.
I had a leg injury that kept me from working out for years. After just a few visits with Phil, I’m up and running again. He’s a miracle worker. Thanks, brother!
