Very nice place to get spa treatments. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and calming. The only piece I wasn’t a huge fan of what that you could see the staff changing out the bedding in the massage and treatment rooms between clients. I know this happens but I don’t care to see this happening. Our massages and facials were very nice.

Do yourself a favor and STAY away from Spa Urbana! I booked a couples day, which included massage, facial and pedicures for both of us. The gal that did my massage had a lot of drama and I got to hear all about it, when all I really wanted to do is relax and receive a deep tissue massage. The facial was excellent for both of us, actually was incredible!! My pedicure was the worst ever the lady did NOT remove my old polish, she told me it still looks great, I asked her to remove it, Im paying for a full pedi, after she was done...you could see that I had different colors on my toes, I ended up paying for another pedicure at a better salon. I work in a customer service driven job and this was really disappointing in so many ways.

I’ve gotten facials, massages, and many other services done here. Everything has always been amazing! Also, the spa itself is very relaxing and clean which is always a plus!

Infuriating experience. We booked 2 massages for our girls trip to boise and were told literally 2 minutes before the start time that one of our massage therapists would not be showing up. Aside from the disappointment of not being able to receive a massage and not being able to book elsewhere, it was a total waste of a morning on a vacation day. The receptionist indicated they would extend the olive branch and not charge us, which was quite frankly laughable. Of course you wont be. I would like to charge this place my bill rate for the waste of PTO!

Booked services in the past without issue but they need to work on their scheduling abilities especially during holiday weekends like mothers day. Other negative reviews have mentioned similar issues. Best to book for locals that are flexible with schedules.

I received a facial and it was incredible! Annahi was so well versed in skincare and an expert in her craft. I left feeling amazing and the whole experience was rejuvenating and therapeutic. 10/10

I booked the alpine arnica spa with Reagan and she was incredible! The waiting room was very relaxing, the entire spa has such a nice ambiance that you relax just entering the building, and Reagan was very helpful and ensured that I was comfortable throughout, I will definitely be returning and highly recommend for anyone!

Booked a massage for two. Minutes before our scheduled massage we were told one of the massage therapist didnt show up and they could only accommodate one message.

Had a gel pedicure about a month ago and absolutely loved my treatment! In and out, but did not feel at all rushed. The spa is lovely and the staff is even more lovely. Will definitely be back and looking forward to taking advantage of some of the other wide variety of services that they offer!

You could see that I had different colors on my toes, I ended up paying for another pedicure at a better salon. This is wrong in so many ways, she hardly did anything to my feet, didnt even file the heels of my feet. We finished up and went to pay for the Couples Package, I knew the price was a little spendy, but when she told me it was well over $400 I about fell over. I quietly paid the bill, this was a present for my boyfriend, I didnt want him to know how much it was or I would have said something at the time. She asked if I would like to leave a tip for the employees, I told her $20 for my boyfriend and $20 for me would be fine, normally I would have left more however the price was already super high. She actually added 20%!!! That took the bill to $654 for a total. We were there only 2 hrs & 30 minutes, that is an outrageous amount. I honestly should have contacted the owner regarding this issue, but I will not be back, nor will I ever recommend this spa, I work in a customer service driven job and this was really disappointing in so many ways.

I had a great pedicure. The atmosphere was very relaxing and Shalea did a wonderful job!

I made a reservation literally months in advanced to our 12 year anniversary for a couples massage. Just a few days before our appointment they canceled, allowing virtually no time to reschedule for the date, at another location. Seems a rethinking of how scheduling or staffing is necessary. Hiring more massage therapists to support the couples massages or just removing it from your services may be necessary (as I see its happend before to previous almost customer).

This was my first professional massage, and I really appreciated Linsey’s service/work! She was professional, kind, warm, and welcoming! Great expertise, and made sure I felt comfortable! The studio was very clean and relaxing, felt tranquil and calm from the moment I walked in! Definitely would recommend Spa Urbana to others! Thank you!

Chelsey is absolutely the best! I have been going to her for several months and she is always so kind, positive and upbeat! Her customer service cannot be matched! She also pays such great attention to my toes and makes me feel a hundred times better after her service. It’s truly worth EVERY penny!

Booked a last minute massage to kill time waiting for flight home. The spa was lovely, staff friendly and hot stone massage by Nick was amazing! Look forward to coming back next time I’m in Boise!

Wow wow wow!! This was our first massage experience and I have to say it will not be our last. It was amazing! Very relaxing atmosphere all the workers were very kind. The massage was amazing. I had Zoe and she hit every single spot without me even telling her where the knots were. Very professional And clean as well!

Average day spa but extremely overpriced for what you get. My massage was great. My facial was average - I have had dozens to which to compare. Service was average for what you are paying. Do not get the invigorating scalp massage - nothing invigorating about it. It was nothing more than a light scalp brushing with the fingertips. Overall, I think there are better spas to spend your money.

I came to Boise as part of a 10-day vacation around Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Thought a massage would be a great way to kick off the trip. I scheduled a massage at Spa Urbana online, filled out all the paperwork online ahead of time, and payment was automatic when I arrived, all of which made the experience great. Sierra, my massage therapist, made the experience AMAZING!! She was friendly, but not overly, incredibly professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve had a shoulder issue, and she recommended a treatment that worked for her — need to find a chiropractor or physical therapist for that. Really appreciated that she cared enough to suggest it! The massage was fantastic—perfect pressure, my neck and shoulders feel great, and I am even more relaxed than I was before we hit the road! Cannot recommend this place more!

Dominique was amazing with my ombré powdered brows. Took the time to make sure it looked good and made sure I was okay with every detail. She is so talented and so sweet. She has saved my life now that I no longer have to apply my brows doing my makeup! I get soo many compliments on them- even before my touch up! I highly recommend getting your brows done and also seeing her! She is amazing!! Thank you for life!!!!

**EDIT** After much consideration I have decided to update my review. After I posted it, the owner, Chris, reached out to me via phone call. In this phone call, he continously told me that what I said in my review was not true, I did not get charged the full amount, that their system only charges $1 authorization, talked down to me, then asked me to delete the review because that is not the way they conduct business, which based off of their actions, is not true. Once I emailed him with the transaction proof from my bank saying that they in fact DID charge me the full amount of $205, he emailed me back and told me that I actually booked the appointment online, which DOES charge the full amount, which insinuats, this my fault, and then proceeded to ask me again to delete my review. I did NOT book the appointment online, which I emailed him and informed him of, and did not receive a response. Their website under couples massages it specifically says this service may NOT be scheduled through online booking. I would post the picture along with the review but i could not figure out how to do it while updating a review. Im glad other people have not had this experience but due to the way I was treated and continuously told it was my fault and that I was lying, I will not be deleting the review as it is important other people know the way they could be treated by coming to this spa. The owner did not take any accountability for the mistake that his company and employees made, only saying hes sorry for any inconvenience that it caused me. I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague.**ORIGINAL** Be warned, they will charge you for the full amount of services before your appointment even happens, and then be rude when you call and ask about it. I booked a couples massage and was told a card was needed on file for to book the appointment, which I totally understand and dont have a problem with, but what they didnt tell me was that I was going to be charged the full amount of services as a preauthorization once I booked. My service was still 2 weeks away and they charged me over $200 without any sort of warning or notice. When I called to ask about this I was told well thats just what our system does, theres nothing we can do about it. When I told her that I was never informed of this when booking this appointment she just said oh well with a very to bad so sad attitude. She said the charges should be removed in the next few days probably but I cant tell you for sure and left it at that. She may have the extra finances to just have a couple hundred dollars out of her account without a problem or concern but this charge caused me issues with bills because I was never informed this was going to happen and was not prepared for that, and i know many other people that this would have been an issue for financially as well. I wish her the best but as someone who has worked in customer service for years, a simple Im so sorry that you werent informed about that would have been plenty to fix the issue, because I understand accidents happen and sometimes you forget to mention something. Due to her rude attitude and disrespectful way I was spoken to as soon as the money was back in my account I cancelled immediately and did not feel comfortable telling them over the phone the issue I had. Its very possible I am wrong because she did not give me her name originally but the woman I spoke with to cancel my appointment sounded like the same woman i originally had the issue with, so I did not feel comfortable telling her about my issue. This is just a warning for those who are looking to book to be prepared to not have access to those funds for a few days after you book your appointment. This spa needs to train their receptionists better.

BEST FACIAL I could have ever dreamed of - it was about an hour and included neck, shoulder, arm, and hand massage. Chelsea was a gem, the spa is lovely, and they use Eminence products (which are out of this world). I also received a scalp treatment that was incredible. I will definitely be back for more services!

I love Spa Urbana. From the moment you walk in you are relaxed and greeted with friendly faces and a soothing atmosphere. Ive had body wraps and massages here and have never been disappointed. Their appointment time is a few weeks out so make an appointment for sure!

I saw Ashley for a clarifying facial and had a wonderful experience! The spa is so welcoming (and surprisingly big!) and has lovely ambiance in the waiting area. Ashley did a great job explaining the products she was using and what they would do for my skin. The facial itself was so nice--I was able to really relax and enjoy the hour. I would definitely come back for either a facial or for one of the other services offered and would totally recommend this place to a friend.

Jasmine provided a cleansing facial. The products she used were lovely, really effective, and catered towards my skincare needs. She was professional and knew exactly what she was doing, as well as being very personable and welcoming.I also received a deep tissue massage with Story, which was amazing. She was able to pinpoint my issues and provided treatment that is one of the best I have had.I would absolutely recommend this spa for locals and tourists alike.

First off, WOW! Im a guy, so Im not exactly all into the whole massage, pedicure and manicure hype as much as many others. But holy smokes. I was chasing the railroad around the midwest for the previous 3 weeks before landing back in my hometown of Boise, and for the first time ever I decided I would try out a professional massage. I read a ton of really good reviews about this place, so I decided to give it a shot. Karen was SUPER helpful and friendly when I first called, and she helped me book my appointment as well as got me settled in when I first arrived. My personal Massage Therapist was Marisa, and I could tell for sure that she knew exactly what she was doing. She was clearly a professional, and was incredibly educated with everything that needed done when I told her where my back was hurting. The vibe was also very calming and really helped me unwind. I was surprised by how comfortable the massage table was, Ive heard they can sometimes be very uncomfortable haha, but this was not the case! Overall 10/10 and I would definitely recommend!

I started going to Spa Urbana in March for monthly facials and massages. They are PHENOMENAL! The alpine arnica massage with Morgan or Christian is always relaxing and soothes every tight muscle. I like deep pressure and these two are the only massage therapists in the treasure valley that can do it just right! Christine gives an amazing hydrate and glow facial and my skin had never looked better. And Maria at the front desk is the sweetest and great at scheduling! All of the staff has great recommendations for improving well-being and have been so personalized, which has really helped get me ready for my upcoming wedding. I highly recommend Spa Urbana - the entire staff are true professionals!

I have come to Spa Urbana for massages, manicures and facials. Each experience was enjoyable and relaxing. I have returned monthly to get facials from Crystal. She has been so helpful with managing my skin health. She provides a relaxing experience while providing education to help me reduce my acne . I don’t feel pressured to buy more services or products by any of the employees. It’s an overall relaxing experience that I look forward to each time. I highly recommend any of their services!

I love this place! The atmosphere is calming and the staff is so accommodating and welcoming. Ive had two treatments and cant wait for my third. The first treatment was a body scrub and the second a massage and I would highly recommend them both. I am sure all of the staff is amazing but I had Lynn and can say she was incredible.

Went in yesterday for a massage. My therapist kristi, was phenomenal. She is little but mighty! Very professional, caring, and damn good at her job, great pressure and consistency. One of the best massages Ive had in awhile. I would highly recommend.

Decided to treat myself to a deep tissue massage for mothers day, unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. I had previously had a massage here that was amaaaazing, so figured I couldnt go wrong, sadly I was mistaken. The therapist was very nice, just honestly felt inexperienced or maybe she was just having an off day. Either way, I left feeling super disappointed. As I checked out to pay I confirmed I had scheduled a deep tissue massage (giving the benefit of the doubt...maybe it was my mistake and I booked a different type of massage), when she confirmed and I expressed I didnt feel what I got was a deep tissue massage all she offered was well did you ask for more pressure? Duh! I literally said to therapist I can barely feel what youre doing, no change, and she spent the next 10 minutes giving me a foot massage and wiggling my toes when i had said my problem area was my back. Again, my previous massage was amazing, so I wouldnt discount this place, just maybe make a point to specify if you want a massage therapist who is more experienced in deep tissue when you schedule

First visit to Spa Urbana. My friend and I went for a massage and facial on super bowl Sunday. One of the few spas open on Sunday. We were very pleasantly surprised. Great location, very calming, very clean. Mylee gave me one of the best facials I have ever gotten. Johnathon is a great and strong masseuse. Trigger point massage, excellent! We will be back for sure. Probably on Sundays from now on. Very relaxing. Downtown was quiet and parking was a breeze.

I’ve had a few facials in the past, but this one is by far the best I’ve ever had! Miley did an amazing job, she was professional, and did a phenomenal job with paying attention to the fact that I was worried about my skin being so sensitive. She took that into consideration and focused on making sure I was comfortable and even recommended products that would be good for me. I would recommend spa Urbana to anyone, looking for a relaxing and nice facial. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing, and beautiful!

I just had a clarifying facial with crystal and it was the best experience Ive ever had. This was my first ever facial and it was amazing! She was super friendly and very informative. I was completely relaxed and I left there with my skin looking absolutely flawless! I cannot wait to go back.

I came in to the spa for a couples massage with my husband and the staff took excellent care of us. The front desk had a smile on and quickly checked us in and offered us a cold beverage. She took us back to the beautiful lounge where we got to relax by the waterfall before our massage and the massage therapists gave us the best massages we have ever had. Great place and very luxurious for a great price me and my husband got a massage and I got a facial as well everyone was very sweet and attentive I am 13 weeks pregnant and felt very welcomed. Go see Nick! Had a hot stone massage and it was amazing. He was friendly, made me comfortable and it’s obvious he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about massage. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had a pedi after and loved it as well. The bench seating mentioned by another reviewer isn’t a problem. Yes it’s a bench but it’s cushioned and covered with pillows. Very comfy. ❤️❤️

My husband and I have been moving the past week and my husbands back had become one giant knot so I booked a Deep Tissue massage. He was able to completely relax and it helped him feel a whole lot better! We will be booking a couples massage ASAP!

I recently visited spa urbana two Sundays ago. The experience was beyond what I ever expected. Dominique at the front desk was very accommodating and helped me out with all the questions i had about the skin care line, which i absolutely LOVE! I got a massage, facial, lash lift and gel manicure and it all was amazing. My nails and lashes have never looked better and I cant wait to keep up these amazing services to pamper myself. Everything at the spa was super relaxing and I am going to recommend this place to all my friends and family!

This spa is lovely- I get lash extensions, which I am obsessed with! The environment is professional, safe, and relaxing. They offer beverages and there’s a pretty waiting room with cozy chairs and aromatherapy. My aesthetician does an awesome job, and I always look forward to my next visit here!

My husband and I both had 90 minute Swedish massages and they were heavenly. The atmosphere was peaceful and zen-like. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The therapists were attentive to our requests and gave us a blissful experience. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I spent our Saturday evening this weekend enjoying a couples massage. Wow! The hospitality and kindness of this establishment keeps getting better. We’ve been to Spa Urbana multiple times for massages and will continue attending because of their friendly front desk staff, professional masseuses, quality of service and overall relaxing atmosphere.

I had a fabulous pedicure with Mikayla. She took the time to ensure my service was enjoyable and realaxing. I appreciate her attention to detail and her wonderful massage.The downtown location is very convenient for extending your outing, whether it is brunch, coffee, or boutique shopping. The location was clean and a very and a quiet atmosphere.I am also very impressed with the spa manager, Amber. After having a less than desirable experience, she reached out and genuinely wanted my feedback and to make the situation right. I will definitely be back for another fantastic service with Mikayla.

My wife had a couple services done here recently and they did a great job. It was hard scheduling her time because of our schedules, but the staff there was very helpful and friendly. Their winter sale was a great deal for the amount of work you can have done and they offer free mimosas, which is a sweet perk.I would definitely purchase another gift certificate here as a gift.

Spa Urbana is an extremely beautiful spa and very relaxing, the staff and the services are great! I received a Pure Results Facial and my skin has never felt or looked better than it does now. The product line they carry is now one of my favorites and i will definitely be returning.

The best spa experience Ive had in Boise!!! I have had two separate massages and both were incredible (by different people) and my mother had the scrub and it was fantastic. I feel like its on par with the best spas in other larger cities, but Boise size. Love this place, cant wait to go back and do some self-care.

Visited Spa Urbana on a whim after reading some feedback on here. The staff was attentive, flexible, and educated on their products and services. After hearing about all of their facials, I decided on the Vitamin C 15 brightening facial and a wild lime scalp treatment. It was incredible and refreshing and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience! I am very thrilled to have found this spa and will be returning as well as referring all my friends for more awesome experiences!!

This was my first time here, and i got the back relax with scalp treatment, and i was thoroughly impressed. First good massage i have had in my life! The back relax had a exfoliant, then showered it off, followed by a massage, and the scalp treatment was also so relaxing! I highly suggest this place to unwind and relax. I will be back!

I couldn’t be more disappointed in this spa and we didn’t even make it to the spa. We scheduled our spa days way in advance because we were coming out of town from Jackson Hole and wanted a weekend getaway. They called us roughly 3 days ago to cancel half our treatments and then called the day before to cancel the rest of our appointment. We’re extremely annoyed because now we can’t find any other spa to take us in on such short notice when we tried to do have everything lined out far in advance. They didn’t offer any sort of back up appointments or anything really. I wouldn’t recommend this spa to anyone.

So relaxing! Very nice, clean, friendly spa in downtown Boise. Luxury at a reasonable price. I have had trouble finding a spa that is convenient to get to, has great service and doesnt feel creepy or dingy. This spa is me go to for now on!

If you are an expecting Mom, I highly recommend getting the the prenatal massage! I have been having mind numbing lower back pain being pregnant with my 3rd baby. This message was the exact self care I needed to hopefully survive the 3rd trimester. She communicated with me well at every point to make sure the pressure was okay. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed!

My husband and I were gifted an anniversary gift certificate for Spa Urbana. We thoroughly enjoyed our full body massages...we also appreciated the expertise from Carin for a mens rebalance facial and help on a strained muscle in neck/shoulder area. Both of us really needed these massages, especially because we exercise on a regular basis and our bodies needed aid in detoxifying. Thanks so much ladies!!! Well be back...

My go to spa when I need a day of self care! I always feel pampered and relaxed after a treatment here. Spa Urbana tends to the little details from serving calming tea to having a beautiful relaxation space for savoring the last few moments before stepping back into real life. Cant wait to go back!

Had a gift card to this spa for a pedicure. Normally there are massage chairs to sit in and and the tech massages your feet. This was not case at this location. There was a bench to sit on and the tech did not clean my nail beds for me or file my heels. I still have remnants of the Polish that was already on my toes still visible on the sides of my nails. Im very disappointed and glad I didnt pay for this service. I will not be returning to this spa.

By and far the best facial I have every received, Jasmine knows her craft. Jasmine made my face feel like it was made of clouds, I swear my husband and I were glowing for weeks. It converted my husband who had never experience a facial before. He now understands.

Had my eyebrows waxed and tinted and I also got the blues be gone massage, it was absolutely amazing! I love the products they use and the employees are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Spa Urbana and will be coming back.

I booked a deep tissue, a pedi, and a eyebrow wax. everything was going really well until it came time for my wax. the esthetician was not present, and they didnt recognize i was booked, so i ended up having to wait about 10-15 minutes past my appointment to finally get in. it wouldnt have been a huge issue if my car wasnt at a parking meter that maxed at 2hrs. But i let it slide. then the esthetician talked me into booking a tint and lift for my eyelashes for the following week. i got a call literally ONE HOUR before my appointment to cancel on me, because they didnt have the necessary supplies. disappointing. i ended up going somewhere else.

My massage with Kathryn was amazing! I highly recommend her and the spa in general. The ambiance was very relaxing and the staff wad welcoming and had great customer service.

Miley gives the most amazing facials ever. My sister and I went for a special birthday treat. Miley spoiled us. She was is such a wonderful person to talk to. You feel like she is your sister by the time you leave. The facial felt amazing. Our skin glowed for days! We will be back! xoxo

I loved the vibe at this spa, not only was it great atmosphere but the people there were genuinely kind and welcoming. I got a massage, my eyelashes tinted, and a mani; each service was very pleasant with a positive interaction. I will definitely be going back in the future. Namaste ♡

I usually review a therapist before I attend but this was a gift so i just went with an open mind. I was first impressed by the openess to having my dog come with me to my appt. (He is a fully certified medical and narcotics dog and can go anywhere he wants but they didnt question it at all). I was welcomed and in for therapy right away. I was hot in the room and before i had a chance to say anything my therapist (Storie) asked me and adjusted things right away for instant comfort. The massage itsself was good and fairly routine. for such a young girl she was experienced and strong and asked the right questions. I was very impressed she was telling me about my plantar fasciitis before i even had a chance to tell her i was suffering from it. She took some extra time on that issue and it was greatly appreciated. All in all the minutes went by way too quickly and i was very satisfied.I am put off by being upsold gels or lotions and potions to buy as an additional expense and my therapist did not do this which i liked but she DID talk about it as she was using it on me and i think that was an effective selling tool. i will be buying some on my next visit because it truely did work.I recommend Spa Urbana and Storie. I will try other thetapists at this location if mine isnt available purely because I was impressed the first time.

This place takes great care of its clients. The staff is helpful and the massage therapists that I’ve seen have all done a great job. The atmosphere is neat and it’s convenient downtown. Highly recommend!!!

This place offers an incredibly relaxing experience complete with aromatherapy, low lighting, and soft music. The employees were extremely helpful in explaining the process, as I had never had a massage before. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to decompress.

They called to confirm my scheduled couples massage 4 hours prior and asked me if I was sure I wanted to keep my appointment. Then an hour and a half later called to cancel for just one of the technicians medical emergency. Very disappointing. Should have been honest during the first call before I drove 45 minutes.

Awesome staff, the setting is absolutely spot on and very relaxing. Kristine is a true asset to this establishment. She is accommodating, professional and very courteous. Thanks to Kristine I will continue to frequent Spa Urbana.

I have been here twice for a massage and this place is fabulous. They were warm welcoming and totally had the spa vibe going. They catered to my needs and even gave me a special refreshment. Their team of people are great! Love this place!

I was in here last Saturday and I will never go to a different spa again. It was so serene and beautiful inside. I got a massage and a mani/pedi and I left feeling like a million dollars. The staff here are all so kind and easy to talk to. They all know exactly what theyre doing. I will most definitely be coming back in the very near future! 💋

EDIT - 4/18/14 with update......third time was the charm.... had a great mani and pedi after a friend convinced me to try one more time....it was worth the third time.. glad I went back! --- WELL..thats what I thought --- 3 days later my nail polish was peeling, chipped terribly -- I took off my nail polish because of how badly it chipped and I saw how 2 of my nails are damaged... wish I could upload pics here --- I love Jude and the owner is very nice... but services have NOT been worth the price by any means....(prior post) Atmosphere is awesome, admin staff is great, unfortunately had the worst pedicure of my life..and was do bruised after my massage (only asked for swedish NOT deep tissue) I had to take ibuprofen for 3 days ... I wont give a third chance... Twice was more than enough

I made a deep massage and pedicure appointment for my mom and all I can say is I will NEVER get a pedicure here they make you pay too much and dont even give you the full time youve paid for! My mom said the deep message was definitely worth it though.
