Lotus Hookah Lounge

All n all its a decent spot. just dont have high expectations. it almost resembles a hole in the wall spot. when i went , byob was great with no cork fee. but the spot could definitely use a makeover, all the holes in the cushions is ugh. i was upset they didnt have any sandwiches or burgers advertised on their menu. the real bonus is byob, music, decent hookah.

Great spot, went there on a Monday and still had a good time, cant imagine what its like on a weekend.

Great chill environment to just smoke hookah. Don’t offer alcoholic drinks but that’s fine by me! They offer delicious teas; my favorite vexing the Moroccan tea. The hookah prices is very good. Most places will charge you for changing the coal but this place doesn’t which is amazing. Music is also very nice. On weekends there is a belly dance for entertainment

This place when it first opened was great. For the past 2 years the service level and the quality of hookah has become so poor. They hire different workers that are not attentive.Today I went back after a very long time and I was charged $90 with 2 soda and 1 hookah. They charge cover charge $30 with no notice/signs notice. We were told that is cover charge Friday-Sunday. Please give that information to your customers at arrival.Service level and quality needs to match in order to pre charge tips. This will be the last visit I will be making for such outrageous prices in the Bronx. Walk down the block and go to Istanbul Lounge.For that price range you are better off paying for tolls and going to Steinway for hookah $25 for better quality and service.Very disappointing for a location in the Bronx.

The place was completely empty. Not one other human in sight. Upon walking in they told me it’s a $25 cover charge…. Again I was the only human there… I walked right out and will not be returning. It was 1pm on a Saturday.

Best hookahs in New York and the Bronx. Great music and services. Tvs for games and always a chill time. Great place to relax and smoke hookah with friends family or love ones. Now they have great food and vibe is always chill and enjoyable!

So I only knocked down one star because not all flavors are hitting how they are suppose to. But me & my boo was there for 6 hrs it was cool vibes all around everyone is friendly and the waiter was super nice I think her name is Adriene or something of that nature. But even down to the owner. I will definitely be coming again for sure, lowkey.Just know there is an entry fee & I totally understand why.

This place used to be great but it’s now becoming overpriced and underserved. The waitresses was not only rude but also slow. Just to ask for another charcoal it was a 20 min waiting time. The prices for their “weekend” cover charged was horrible because they consider Friday as a weekend. I used to come to place all the time and recommend my friends but it’s now not even worth mentioning even if it was late and I wanted to go out. This place was good but now has succumb to over price inflation.With all my heart I hope this place fixes its bad service and becomes better.

When I first got in there was a lot of people enjoying themselves. Me and my boyfriend waited 10 mins to be seated. Than an extra 20mins to get a waitress. They don’t sell liquor you can bring your own bottle and there is an entry fee of $15. We ended up leaving due to the slow services.

This place is awesome when you want to relax and get away from stress. They have great finger food great hookahs that dont hurt your chest or throat and atmosphere is chill and calm without drama. Parking is a pain but its worth it to look and find parking. Go to Lotus it want disappoint you are your guest. Service is on point.

This place is a nice chill spot. My friend and I got here early and was greeted by the manager. There was no one in the lounge at the time that we went. He was so nice, he gave us the hookah and the flavor we tried was sunset which was a good choice to pick from. It was strong at first so we asked the manager to adjust it for us and he did it. The manager also told us that we are allowed to bring food and liquor inside the restaurant due to the fact they don’t sell neither one but, they do have a few drink selections (water, juice, soda, energy drinks etc.) . They also want you to pay ASAP. This employee came late to work and she gave my friend and I the bill. We wasn’t ready to pay yet so we paid when we was leaving. The manager kept checking on our coals and making sure everything was good. I applaud the manger he was amazing. Also they play good music there like hip-hop and r&b. When my friend and I came it was just a regular playlist and a DJ came later on. It’s a nice chill vibe and I will be coming back.

The best experience I’ve ever had in all of my days living here in the Bronx! Ever since I discovered this place, I’ve received the best service I’ve ever had. Jay is not only a great employee , but an incredible person. He makes sure that the hookah is on point, the beverages are fantastic, and the music he plays is of none other. Even though this place serves no alcohol , I guarantee that you will never leave unimpressed and unsatisfied. The owner herself, makes sure that each customer is treated well and attended. If you’re ever looking for a hookah spot to enjoy yourself and have a great time, I highly recommend Lotus. Trust me, I’ve been to other affiliated hookah spots and nothing compares to the service here at Lotus. Enjoy!

Its a cute little spot. Reasonable prices. Different flavors then the norm. Music was good very chill place. Just know that they dont serve alcohol here its literally a hookah bar. Also its chilly in there so try and get a table away from the doors if you can or expect to keep your coat on. Was told that they were working on getting the door replaced so that its not so chilly. But all in all if you just want a nice not expensive hookah this is a good spot to go.

This place is in a very convenient location in the Bronx. They have good service and our server Jay went about and beyond for me and my girlfriend. One of the staff made us a flavor and he re did it again himself because it didnt meet our expectations. Thanks for having such good service!!! We appreciate good service and he has a really outgoing personality.

I love this place! Best hookah lounge around the area hands down. Their selection of flavors is great, and they actually last. Lemon Drops is my favorite flavor. Try the ice hose too. The ambiance is great, very comfortable and relaxing. Live DJ on weekends too! Staff is always friendly and always on top of everything which is another plus. Cant go wrong with this lounge!

Jay was wonderful, he was very accommodating to my large party. He was very knowledgeable about the different hookah flavors and made our experience worth the long drive we took. We will definitely be back in the near future. If you come here ask for Jay.

Really great spacious hookah lounge in the Bronx. Its a chill place for you to be with your friends or even come by yourself to catch up on some work. Most of the time it isnt packed and I like that. Also, the service is great. Jay is very attentive and so are the others. The hookah is REALLY strong too. Im not that much of a hookah head but the hookah is very strong here, I get headaches if I take too many pulls.One tip I would give though is wait five minutes after the hookah is given to you before pulling. If you start right when they give it to you, you wont get a great pull. Follow their instructions and youll see how good the hookah is.

Best hookah in town with unique flavor. Good vibes with music and chilling environment when i went with my friends they treated so generously. Highly recommend.

I had a great time at Lotus. The hookah was very flavorful and lots of unique flavors to choose from. The food was also good. My favorite part was the service and how attentive they were. They always made sure things were running smoothly.

Love this place, the owner is sweet the staff is respectful. Trust me, you will be coming back. Very chill on the week day and excited on the weekend. The belly dancer was a plus in my book. Shout to jay and the rest of the crew.

Most of these people below me writing back reviews are straight cheap and tripping lol. When you go downtown you’re paying way more for these type of hookahs, plus it’s byob how you complaint about it being under the table just stay home or go somewhere else lol. Obviously a $15 cover charge for bringing your own stuff is cheaper than buying 10 drinks in the place.I always get treated well here and continue to go back check it out for yourself don’t feed into these cheapos talking trash.

First the atmosphere was beautiful and then the service was immaculate. the hookah was only $22 and I couldnt ask for a better hookah spot with because the music was on point. I will recommend everybody to come here and it opens early and closes at 4 a.m.

We’ve got charged 18% of our bill for charcoal?! Who on earth would do that?I am just curious what they are thinking when they do this, like I will never come again nor recommended them to anyone.Just walk few feet away and there is Istanbul and Sanaa cafe

I would give this place a half a star if it was possible. The music is way too loud for a lounge. I couldnt even hear my thoughts. There is no ventilation resulting in a smoked filled establishment. I walk out smelling like hookah. It was in my hair and clothes. The smoke engulfed my whole being. I wouldnt want to visit this establishment even if the prices are cheap and I didnt enjoy myself and left about an hour after I arrived.

The lounge was really inviting and the interior design was beautiful. Tahmina was a really good host and treated us really well and made us feel more then welcome

I came here about 2 times now and i absolutely love the ambiance, the staff are very polite upon greeting and service. A lady waitress even complimented an art piece i did while having their Ice Queen blend. Truly a humble environment to vibe and be yourself

The customer service completely sucked! The waiter was rude! They tried to charge me $72 just for hookah. No food and no drinks are being served.I didnt enjoy it...my party and I left and ended up going to a much better lounge.

Place is fairly quiet and low key. You can BYOB music is good and choice of hookah flavors as well.

Hookah flavors are great but are limited to a select few during weekdays. Atmosphere and location are of convenience which is pleasing. Careful on going on Thursdays- its calm and music is dope but the staff with 2 server dudes are trash. Trust me, keep reading.The owner of Lotus also seems great, however, the staff are inattentive. And customer service should ALWAYS be 💯%Dudes that were serving brought 1 menu to a party of 5 which made no sense. Paid little to no mind to us.We went to watch the game and I feel like if we didnt call the server over and over, we couldve just watched the game without being tended to. Which? Also? Makes no sense??Idk but if I have to call you over rather than you willingly approach the party, then somethings clearly wrong on the staffs end. Also, if the server has headphones on, how are we supposed to reach him over?Maybe the staff werent having a good day? But regardless, they shouldnt take it out on customers. They gotta do better with management.

There is a $15 fee just to get in on the weekends and holidays. I got there asked the waitress if I should go get a bottle because they do not serve liquor she stated yes without mentioning the fee.

Horrible customer service the patrons where not attentive at all! Half of the hookah menu was not available (especially the entire lower priced section) hookahs tasted like they went bad after about 10 minutes. I am very disappointed as I live in the area and expected more from a new hookah lounge but they are doing bad people trust me when I tell you if you live in the area STICK TO BLUE MIST HOOKAH LOUNGE. Oh and I forgot to mention the fact that they are playing music from YouTube the same 3 songs literally looped 8 times I kid you not I wish I could post a video to prove. Don’t waste your time

This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a hookah lounge. If you are ever in the area come here and ask for Jay. He was very helpful and made our time spent here a very enjoyable one. I will be telling all of my friends to come here.

They dont serve food or alcohol or any beverage. Hookah is $30, coal is $5, but charged $45. Atmosphere is nice, usually no cover charge but was charged $15 for entry.

My boyfriend and I went there for my bday a few weeks ago on a late night & for one I want to say the interior design is so bomb I felt like I was on vacation in there lOl. the hosts are amazing very informative & the dj was a super cool guy. we felt really comfortable there & we hope to return soon. only next time I hope I can dj with the :).

Pros: One of the Security Guards had Dope PersonalityCons: - Its pay to get in (15 dollars if i remember correctly)- They Dont sell anything but hookah so if Youre ill-prepared then expect to walk out and get alcohol or food. (Alcohol needed to be hidden under the table. Not sure if you had to pay every time you walked in.) [My party was never offered water and were concerned that you had to pay for it so didnt bother]-They Charge you for two small pieces of charcoal. (my party and i had burnt out the first two pieces rather quickly and the replacement came [only two pieces will fit at a time], but i had to take quick puffs and leave because my party was concerned theyd get charged again. The Charcoal tax was 13 dollars and change. . . (you can buy a whole box for 20 or less.)-They charge at the end. (This is probably because every time the charcoal burns out thats a cost added to the bill. You get charged for the flavor too.) The price of JUST smoking the hookah was 30 dollars. man the bill came and it was 108 dollars. .In short, You wanna come in here? Turn around buy food, Alcohol, and hookah and chill in a house or something because youll be getting robbed here unfortunately.< one of my party members needed to use the bathroom but was on edge that theyd get charged for using it. lol >

Nice spot. Hookah Only, BYOB (BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE). And there was a liquor store right across the street. GPS gives you the wrong entrance. The entrance is actually on White Plains rd & Morris Park Ave, near Dunkin

It was a cozy place, good hookah, low prices, friendly owners, and the staff was very professional. The place was clean, a large variety of Hookah flavors. Great atmosphere...I will return the next time I am in the Bronx.

I went down a Friday night and had a good experience, the smoking was decent, the tea was good, the music was pumping playing at combination of rap and Spanish, nice spot to relax they even give you games to play with at the table to pass the time. Too bad they dont sell little liquor :-(

Yes owner has CHANGED... drinks are good...better to go with cash... and there is no food inside... but you can bring food from outside so thats good... not a big fan of their music playlist... was better before with the old owner..

First time in the bronx i found the best hookah lounge. Best service so far. The place is very cute and the prices are very reasonable. Hope to see some halal food option soon. The owner “Naveed” is very friendly. Keep it up

Seemed like a nice hookah lounge but unfortunately we had to leave after finding out they didnt have any alcoholic beverages🤦🏾‍♀️. Yet their menu had a lot of hookah flavors and one day when I dont want to drink, I will revisit. Also excellent customer service.

This is by far one of the best Hookah Lounge i have been to. Very different flavors and its reasonable too. If you want to smoke hookah, than you should definitely come to Lotus Hookah Lounge.

Loved that its byob and you can bring your own food but the hookah flavors were okay and the music was trash!

It was a nice place, but when it gets packed you have to wait for your order for a while. It took us almost an hr for us to be served. They have games you can play, like card games or board games.

The first hookah was amazing the second was horrible harsh I had Superman then captain she had to keep coming back to try to fix it for the amount of money I paid I wasn’t very happy for my first time here I will not be coming back

15dollar cover went with 3 people that 45dollars plus a hookah runs you 40 dollars. At that point go get a meal with hookah. Not worth it.

Horrible service, took forever to get service. Music was extremely loud and when asked if the music could be lowered even the tiniest bit they denied the request. Had to yell to speak across the table. Went on a thursday.

They have no liquor....wings took 30 minutes and were soggy, no crisp to them...hookah was good music was good. Waiter was on planet mars.

Excellent service, chill atmosphere with a 🔥DJ. You can get shakes, smoothies or some tea when ur winding down for the night.

First time at the place, making it out the door as my order never arrived...apparently nothing is available and minimum wait for some chicken wings requires me to wait 45 minutes and it’s not even that busy here tonight.

It’s was the first time and will be the last time , they have the worst customer service , they don’t put enough favorite in the hookah , they u used the cheapest Tobaco favorite .
