Xstasy Bar and Lounge

A couple of friends and I were at this place last week. We arrived there around 9 PM and the place was empty.If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible costumer service, the drinks tasted like juice- I had a margarita that tasted more like a limonada, we were charged 5 dollars for a bottle of water and the bartender was very unprofessional, kept trying to get rid of us; mind you, the place was completely empty at this time.

Love this club so much, but looks like it’s closed :( (see photo - it’s some restaurant now)So many good times here, hope they re-open somewhere!!

Last night, September 9-10, 2023. I had such an amazing experience. The service was great! But the ambiance, music, and atmosphere made it feel like I was surrounded by family. I Had a great time dancing. I came from NJ and when I walked in I was double thinking of leaving, but no less then 5 minutes later I got sucked in to a wonderful experience. Thank you all, gracia por todo! El lokito 😁

I went with a few friends and had a great time. It was all of our first time here and I think we were a little early for the usual crowd, 10/10:30 on a weekend night. Music was great - nice to get a way from the usual gay bar top 40 remixes blasting in your ear. Friendly bartenders. It seemed like all of the other patrons were straight, but like I said, I think we were early and maybe this is more of a late night bar. Definitely plan to visit again.

It was my first and last time visiting this place.The bartender was very unprofessional, we ordered some drinks. Her attitude made us feel very uncomfortable, she keep talking and laughing with her other friends of her I assume. And kept looking at us. Drinks were very nasty. And on top of that they charge you $5 for a bottle water. I know it’s not a bodega but cmon! We’ve been to a way better places in the city and the most you get charge for water is $3 like for real. It’s very understandable that it’s a bar but nah seriously don’t go there!Restroom are gross! And the men’s room doesn’t have a lock 😂😂

Salvadore, Miranda and Alan gave me an amazing first time experience. They treated me the best and the drinks are super freaking amazing. I so highly recommend this place. Such good vibes and an amazing DJ 🤎 the vibes are super great and they show alot of love to the young community. Will be coming back here 10000 times if I can.

I must admit that it is one of the places where I have had the most fun, I said goodbye to the old year 2018 and received the new year 2019, I still remember that day with my best friend, we danced, we drank, it was a very pleasant night. only when paying, my friend and I decide that each one will pay his own. My friend paid the full total of his bill. And I paid for mine with a $ 100 bill, and I never received my change, quite independent of the tip that was left to the bartender. he was supposed to pay me back 60 bucks but it never happened. I was not so drunk that I did not realize what was happening, but I was a little sad to ask him for my change ... In the end I told myself that he should keep it, he deserves it. I talked about this to my friend and he told me that another mutual friend had the same thing happened to him.

Went around 1am Friday/Saturday. Place was lively. There was a drag show. Good music. Very friendly staff. Diverse crowd. Good looking respectful guys. Great local spot. Its simple. None judgmental comfortable and friendly.

I wasnt expecting much before i walked in but honestly, its a really cool place. Sparkle (Our bartender) was Awesome ! I think its a great place to get a quick drink or just chill out with friend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The bartender gave me my drink and immediately walked away. Only after he returned did he let me know that there was a $20 minimum on the card. There were no signs posted anywhere. According to him I could order 5 beers, pay the ATM fee (which was not functioning), or he would, as he sarcastically put it, make an exception. Not a great impression on my first time on this bar.

Great place for a Sunday good time. Fun friendly people, awesome bartender, fun karaoke.One for the books, definitely worth returning when Im back in this side of town.

Started off nice. Good music, friendly bartenders. When you walk away for a minute and you ask the bartender to watch your drink. Do not do that here. MAJOR WARNING. 911. 911 I COME BACK and my jacket was taken, my wallet gone and my house and car keys. No one knew or saw anything and was rushed out by security because they say they Were Closing and told me to come back tomorrow and they would look at the Video tapes. If I was security or management wouldnt you want to see the tapes right away. They insisted I moved my jacket elsewhere. Wake up the next day to a text that some good human being had my keys and found them a block away from this whatever they are calling it. Seems ownership runs this place as a brothel not a business. So now I know it was stolen and have a feeling staff knew or saw who took it. I arrive back there the following night as they said they would look at the tapes, and the owner had the nerve to say Im busy can you come back? Your kidding me right? Dialed 911 immediately was trying not to cause a scene, the Staff and owner left me no choice. The police report that I will file with the 72nd Pct let the cops get the tape. They already mentioned they have the video but my gut tells me that it will somehow be erased or lost. I guess if this is place that you frequent great. Otherwise STAY AWAY STAY VERY FAR AWAY. I saw this was a gay bar, I am not but shouldnt you be able to go to a place anyplace and not be robbed? SHAME ON OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT..BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE STOLEN FROM AND ROBBED!!! I GUARANTEE THIS BAR WILL NOT BE IN BUSINESS FOR VERY LONG. WILL POST THIS ON EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE I CAN.

Great local Spanish gay bar. The music is great and the drag queens are amazing 😀

Went here with my girlfriend and her best friend on St.Patties and had good fun. Music was good, the hookahs were strong and the overall vibe was welcoming. Would go again

This is a great local bar. Old school and unpretentuous. Its really welcoming to everyone and clearly a place where folks of color (of all genders) can chill, have fun, be a a little bad and or be a little good. The place is still Brooklyn, rough around the edges and real just like a local bar should be. Ive been there early with jus one another patron and the bar tender and late night when things are as they should be in in local gay bar. it aintt Celsea ..it aint even Park Slope and thats a very good thing!

I like that place but... The DJ (May/7/2016) is a racist. I and my friends asked for salsa music (Latin Night) in 4 hours and did not put none. all the time said that in a while. 4 hours and nothing. Mexican music all the time and regatón.

Great bar. Fish tacos are a MUST!! Personal favorite drink is a frozen tamarindo margarita. Great music and good people

Was so much fun at Sunday karaoke. The bartender is fast and sweet. Hostess has so many songs and even made one karaoke track for me. Thanx, Victoria.

Empty on a Saturday night. Walked in and immediately turned around. Did not feel neither welcome nor save. Reckon, most positive reviews here are fake. Complete waste of time.

Its charming with a friendly staff, but so loud that you cant converse. Maybe if they had a dance floor. But its a sidewalk lounge, for now.

Went on Satuday, there were older gays( late 30s and up) there there, and there and not really full. Im much and wouldve loved more girls of a younger crowd.

This is my 3rd time visiting Xstasy and it’s gonna be my last one. Everything it’s perfect except for the music, you guys need a better DJ for your Saturday nights.

Today I went to ecstasy and the waitress and they took advantages of my friend, they stole his money.... they stole from my friend. The same employees take advantage when people are drunk...

It is a place for dancing on Fridays, Saturdays and strippers, and karaoke on Sundays, and although it is a place for GAYS, it is not necessary for one to be GAYS. To go to that place, the atmosphere is set by each person at their table,

Good atmosphere, good music! Even though it is an LGTBI bar, the atmosphere is great and you can have a good time having a drink and dancing a little! They put good combinations... I liked the facilities 👍🏽

Last night I went and its very bad that they sell you drinks when its already closed and the security voted for my drink, what a very bad experience, the service from the manager, very friendly, just talk to their security because they cant be treating the customer that way.
