The Social Butterfly

A friend of mine threw a (just because) party here. The DJ was great, it was a hip-hop and reggae mix. The crowd was ok, mostly under 25, but everyone was dancing. Thats always a plus. The only downers were that the bar is cash only and it can get crowded pretty quickly.

The bartenders are terrible. I asked for a simple drink and she act like she was confused then served the same drink to someone else seconds later. It’s $20 to get in, you get a serious pat down, and for now reason as the club is whack! The DJ talks waaaaayyyy to much during every song and ruining every song! Worst club I’ve been too!

Most unprofessional! The manager or owner of this establishment has no control over the promoters who book his venue. The security guard and promoters are not on the same page. If your a business and youre serious about your profit, you would ensure that the security knows the cover. I cannot understand how a group of individuals arriving at the same time gets charged two different covers, due to an error in communication which is NOT the customers responsibility. Crappy music, weak drinks. Overall an unpleasant experience. Do not believe the hype.

I attended a birthday celebration there last night. The drinks are STRONG. The crowd was okay. The only thing that needs attention is the dj. The first dj for the night was great, The second dj wasnt good at all. He went from biggie to reggae to soca, Didnt know how to blend in the music. Get a great dj, And this club will be number 1.

Went to this spot Saturday which aint nothing but a bar and they have the nerve to charge people $10 to get in and was not paying to get get in there or the spot up block we was 30 deep. Thanks to security he told us try spot up block they free and we went there and spent least $500 at the bar. Your lost and the other spot like you wanna charge club prices level up that dry spot.

I went there Sunday night. Their google my business page said they closed at midnight. I’m from out of town so I didn’t know any better. Wanted to have a good time with friends but they were closed... I paid for an Uber. Highly disappointed. I had to walk to the next open bar which was downgrade from the vibe I wanted. Make sure they are open before you go!

Came out from Boston for the weekend, and was looking for a nice dancehall spot and this one was lit. Dj was playing fire songs all night. Only minor thing I had a problem with was the lady who checked us in, seemed a little rude lol. Other than that, spot was lit!

I just celebrated my birthday at The Social Butterfly and I had a blast, the owner Albert and his team made sure I had everything I needed their service is top notch. And the music was on point!

The most racist establishment I have ever been to. We walked in with five white people and got the most extremist treatment I have ever encountered. We were over charged as customers and also heard multiple remarks along the lines of oh thats where the crackers are and those crackers are still here? With that being said I seriously suggest that you never attend this establishment to have a good time.

Okay. Not many ppl there but they played decent music and the bartenders were nice. There is also a phone charging booth there!

Nice place I love it the only thing is DJs always interfering with the songs and the DJs talk too much lets ruin the fun so please DJ do not interfere with the song .. we want to dance we dont want to listen to your talking...

Went there with my cousin Richie..we had a good time..the club was lit..that same night we were suposed to go milk river but when we got there it seemed as though the. Place was about to close so we didnt go inside..thats how i ended up going to the social butterfly on that night.

Fell below expectations. Online reviews maybe misleading including mine. There was a handful of people here and the music was reggae all through.

Cover charge is pricey but I really enjoyed the time I spent at the club. I would definitely go back

Enjoyable social vibe with nice Brooklyn NUC felt scenery good music and good vibes deffinitely a good vibe from staff this is my second time coming and its a great relaxing way to enjoy your day.

Cheap Hookah is never good. Its in the air and it hurts my throat.. people usually sitting around not enjoying the party. Its for young people just starting to party
