Spavia Day Spa - MacGregor Village

Had tried several Spas around town and decided to give Spavia a try. So glad I did , they are a step above the rest and their staff is friendly and professional. Had my 4th massage with them and Parker did a fabulous job. Have joined them with a membership and can’t wait to go back again!!Give them a try and see what I mean!

Came here maybe a year ago and it was wonderful, I felt like I floated out of the place. Came again a few weeks ago with my MIL. She said her massage was good, but mine was pretty bad.Right away I told her it hurt, and I should have walked out but I kept thinking maybe its about to get better?. Nails scraping on skin, skin being pulled, hard rubbing over bone, and poking- all of it avoiding any muscle. At the very end, she did a nice neck massage, but I wouldnt say that last part was enough to return.I let the woman at the front desk know that it was painful, she said its supposed to be, and you may be sore tomorrow. I wasnt sore the next day, I felt nothing.Im disappointed because it was supposed to be a relaxing time before my wedding, and I was thinking about getting a massage more regularly, but Ive changed my mind after this experience. Or, at least, Im going to try and find somewhere else.So I guess my take away is this: its a nice place, but its a lot of money if you dont get a good massage, and they dont seem to take your comments seriously.

My son and I were visiting for GalaxyCon, and I thought a relaxing massage would be a great idea. We were warmly greeted by Samie, who knew our names and remembered our conversation from booking the appt. She guided us through the intake forms to personalize our experience. Our massage therapists, Concetta and Parker, were amazing – we both felt incredible afterwards. It was just what we needed after our travels.I’ve had many massages in my life, but Spavia has perfected the experience in a way that truly sets them apart. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and I was beyond impressed. Highly recommend Spavia for an exceptional and personalized spa experience.

Went for a 60 min massage, and everyone from the front to the back was so pleasant and welcoming. Everything was very efficient and clean. I loved the relaxation/retreat wait area and the provided tea. The massage therapist’s nails were a little long, but other than that the experience was refreshing. Will definitely be coming back!

My Mom & I came here for an early birthday celebration for her. I used the online booking system to book our appointments but was able to speak to someone on the phone who was BEYOND helpful with answering my questions and helping me with our appointments. When we walked in, the front office staff were prompt, friendly, & helpful. The overall cleanliness of the entire facility was amazing. The overall ambiance (especially relaxation room) was amazing. There were lockers for our belongings and robes, sandals, and heated neck pillows for us to enjoy before our services. I had the brightening facial by Claudia and it was amazing..my skin felt SO much better after and she was so knowledgeable + informative of what to expect with the products she used. My mom had a 100 minute massage by Emily and she said that she felt SO much better after the service. She said she felt very comfortable with Emily and was so impressed with how well she did. We are from out of town but will definitely be back!

Me and my hussband got a couples massage Celebrating are Anniversary from the time you walk in to the front desk and the time you leave out staff was wonderful. Spa was clean and great massage Therapists where great as well. I have been to many spas but Spavia is one of the best in the Triangle. We will be back !

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and I appreciate their membership benefits. I highly recommend becoming a member if you plan to get massages regularly. The music sets a pleasant tone, the oil has a delightful scent, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.

My first visit to Spavia was to celebrate my 60th birthday with friends. A spa day! We received excellent treatment! Great massages & body treatments. Friendly & professional staff. The environment is warm and the robes and slippers added to the ambience. I would highly recommend this spa for yourself or a group celebration.

This is the only membership-based spa I know of that offers a full range (massages, facials, body txs, waxing, make-up application, lashes) and variety of services (ie different type massages, facials, etc), PLUS the traditional amenities of a day spa such as robes/slippers, relaxation room and hot tea!! The membership structure and pricing is better than other membership based spas and traditional day spas, AND your appointment time is 100% forthe service…no losing 10mins for undressing/dressing!! I’ve only been once and my massage was nice, but it’s all of the other features that made it worth signing up. Looking forward to this being my regular source of pampering.

I have been coming to Spavia for more than a year. The Spavia facility offers a relaxing environment. I have always been extremely pleased with all the Massage specialists that I have used. I signed up for the annual massage agreement and try and use it once a month. It also provides for my wife to have a facial once a month at a discounted price.

I had a wonderful experience at Spavia. 10/10 recommend. From stepping foot inside to my massage experience, it was all fantastic. I look forward to returning.

I’ve been here 3 times in the last 6 months and it’s hands down the best massage in the Raleigh area. Best masseuses, calming environment, and caring owner. I recently had a Premier Age Defense Facial. Everyone at the spa had a good vibe. I liked the setup and the facial was one of the best I have had. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy. I felt very relaxed when I left and I like that there was no hard push to try and sell me anything.

This was my first visit and it was very impressive. They made me feel special from time I walked I the door. The facial was a mini Massage in itself. The suggestion I have is the Massage room was very cold, which for me, was bit uncomfortable. However I cant wait to return.

Instead of JUST coming in for a facial, I appreciated coming in for an EXPERIENCE. I appreciated getting to choose a scent for my lotion, the robes & sandals, having a room to relax in with a hot neck pillow, and then getting to enjoy a hot tea afterwards. I also enjoyed my esthetician. She answered all of my questions, was really gentle with my facial piercings, and provided a relaxing experience. Ill be back for sure!

What a fantastic Sunday afternoon. My experience at Spavia had me booking another appointment with my girlfriends. Staff was efficient and friendly. My massage therapist, Autumn Driscoll was excellent. The sugar scrub invigorating. I highly recommend this Spa!

This place is fabulous. Went here for the first time this week. The location was great right on the corner, ambiance of the front and back of the place was really nice. The front desk person was really friendly and helpful.They provided a nice comfortable robe and slippers to use during the services. The locker room was equip with showers, towels, lockers, and some toiletries if needed. The retreat room was cozy with water and tea.I tried the salt stone massage which was heavenly. I loved the warm temperature of the stones and the grittiness from the salt felt great on the skin (and exfoliated). Alisha was amazing. I loved how she took the time to understand my likes and any aches, pains, etc. She was pleasant, massage pressure was great, and i felt safe and welcomed. I definitely will be back. 🙂

Alex Roja is the best massage therapist! Not only am I guaranteed a relaxing experience, but he has the education and skill to resolve underlying causes of stress and discomfort to keep me pain free between visits.And Claudia has done more for my rosacea than my dermatologist!Spavia has outstanding staff and a relaxing legit spa atmosphere. This spa is a complete relaxation experience. The relaxation area with the hot neck pillows, hot tea options, low lights, and waterfall allows you to completely recharge. I highly recommend Spavia - best massages and facials!

The owner is so incredibly attentive and works so hard to make sure this is an absolute dream. This place is a mix of a super high end spa and really affordable massages. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a special day, but especially those of us who need a spa we can go to more regularly for self care. I absolutely LOVED the environment and atmosphere! From the moment I entered the location, I felt a warm, cozy spa environment that felt like nothing less than the most exquisite retreat! The womens retreat room was stocked with all of the essentials to make me feel like I was getting the most luxurious spa experience. The ambiance was impeccable from the lighting, to the music, to the aroma that filled the air!! I loved the added touch of the robes and sandals, as well as a safe and secure place to leave my personal belongings during my spa treatment. The lounge area where I waited for my specialist was spectacular - so amazing that I was almost napping by the time she came to get me! Lauren was spectacular and very attentive to my needs. She was gentle (but appropriately firm) during my facial and gave the best personalized experience that I could have asked for! Because I was open to it, she also provided great conversation. What a beautiful location. I booked a facial and massage for myself as well as a massage for my husband. Much needed and very relaxing environment while we are here for work. The spavia robes are very luxurious and the retreat is filled with inspirational books. I loved every bit of It. I would recommend to anyone. Claudia gave an excellent facial and I unfortunately forgot the name of the sweet young lady who gave me am excellent massage (probably because I had massage brain). Very relaxing. I would recommend. If I lived in Raleigh Id be signing up for a membership. Take advantage of this place before theyre booked out months in advanced!

My hubby treated me to a spa day for our anniversary. He had all the massage and facial packages already selected. This was my first visit to a spa and this was the prefect place to go! Every staff member was very kind and friendly. We had a couples massage and Alisha was terrific. My hubby had Cory and said he felt so much better even though his shoulder was killing him. Alisha made me feel completely comfortable and asked intermittently how I was feeling, but I was practically asleep. She hit some great pressure points for my sciatica and did great shoulder work. Sara was my esthetician, my hubby had Lauren and was terrific as well! The neck massage was fabulous! And I really enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin fragrance and love the gingerlily lotion I even purchased. My hubby was ready to schedule another couples massage, and he loved the citrus scrub so much he bought that. We were both so relaxed and felt like we had been on a mini vacation. We will be back, and Ive already shared our adventure with our family & friends and invited them.

Went for a girls spa days! All three of us were very satisfied with our services! Toni did an awesome massage and hit all my trouble spots. Sara’s facial was as good as any I’ve ever had plus I could tell a big difference when she was done! We will be returning!

This place is AMAZING!!!! I havent been to many spas in my life - the only other place Ive been to is a couple of Hand & Stone locations - but this Spavia location blows their aforementioned competitor out of the water. I went in for a facial and a hot stone massage today.Spavia felt more a like an actual *spa* in comparison to Hand & Stone. Once you arrive, you undress and change into a robe that they provide you and you place your belongings in a locker. From there, you sit in a waiting room (the retreat room) filled with fake candles (real ones would be a huge safety concern), ambient music playing, complimentary tea (with many different flavors!), and heated neck pillows. The waiting room felt so relaxing and I almost drifted off to sleep with how calming everything was! The neck pillow certainly didnt help. Lol What I noticed - a stark contrast between Spavia and Hand & Stone - is that Spavia did its best to set the mood before I entered my massage room. Hand & Stone just sends you off to your session without creating such an atmosphere.My masseuse, Nicki, was absolutely fantastic. She was very respectful and attentive, and asked how I was doing every so often. She went over the medical information I entered on the form before the session started, and spent a lot of time on the problem areas I pointed out. The hot stones she used werent too hot and she even used them on my arms and legs - something I didnt experience at their competitor! She lathered me in lotion - not enough to overdo it, but enough to make me feel soft and silky. I honestly cannot get over how much I enjoyed the experience provided by Nicki - the hot stones felt so HEAVENLY against my tense muscles!!! It was absolutely divine!!! She also did some glute compression exercises that helped release the tension in my hips. I felt so much looser (not sure if thats a word, but whatever) after this massage. Thanks Nicki for a FABULOUS experience!Now I cant forget about my facial! My esthetician was Claudia and she also did a great job. She was very thorough and took her time applying the different products to my skin. I originally scheduled myself to get one of their more intense facials (an acne peel), but because I used a prescription cream with Retin-A in it within the last couple of days, Claudia brought it to my attention that that wouldnt be a good idea (to do their more intense facial). I sincerely appreciated her bringing this up; otherwise she warned me that I could have had a bad reaction (e.g. a drawn-out, severe, peeling episode). Yikes! I really do appreciate her bringing that up to me - I honestly didnt know! She recommended a gentler facial peel that they had and I took her up on the offer right away. She even informed the front desk receptionist of this change on my behalf. Claudia was very personable and apologetic, especially when she did the not-so-fun extraction part of the facial process. It was a little painful, but she did her best to get the dirt out of my pores! My face felt refreshed and silky-smooth after the facial was over. My experience at Hand & Stone, meanwhile, left me with a very dry face after the session ended. When I am in the Cary area next time, I am definitely going to try that more intense facial I missed out on!!!I really had a wonderful day today thanks to all of the wonderful ladies I met at Spavia. A HUGE thank you to Nicki and Claudia for doing a wonderful job!!!!If you are in the Cary area and ever need a day of relaxation, you can count on Spavia to give you the experience you need!

I booked an Ultimate Brightening Oxygen Lift facial with Sarah. The experience was lovely. My skin is literally glowing - I could see results immediately. The spa has a relaxing waiting area with tea and water and they give you a plush robe to change into. The room where I received the facial was dimly lit with relaxing music playing and Sarah was very skilled in what she did. Ill definitely return for another spa service.

Visited this brand new beautiful spa with a friend this past week for a massage. It had opened less than a week prior to our visit.What a wonderful all around experience it was! Robin checked us in and was delightful. The space was gorgeous! From the candles to the decor to the serene music being played throughout, to the “relaxation room”.... everything was just perfect and exactly what we were looking for!Our therapists were excellent and we felt amazing afterwards! My friend had the Swedish with Erica and I had the deep-tissue with William. They both took the time to discuss any issues we might have as well as our preference on pressure, etc. Highly recommend both of these therapists and this spa. We will definitely be back!

The facilities are top notch with a wonderful retreat area and plush robes. I had a super relaxing facial with Felecia and a body scrub with Erika. Both were absolutely amazing, my skin had never felt this soft before and my face is glowing!! Can’t wait to come back.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE. I had an awful experience there. It was my first time and they scheduled me with a very rude and professionally unfit massage therapist. This so called therapist actually got huffy puffy with me when I asked her to rub my shoulders, when I told her I was paying $65 for this massage and I would like to have my shoulders rubbed, she told me I had a problem and stormed out of the room leaving me with a back full of oil. So much for a relaxing afternoon I had planned. I will never go back to this place.

I went in on Sunday I had a 12:00 appointment scheduled I arrived at about 11:45 and tried to go in in about 11:55 the doors were still locked and no one was there so I decided to take a seat on the bench and wait and then I watched the entire staff come in at 12: 00. It was me and a few other women checking in all of the same time and there was only one front desk person trying to check in all of us and she didnt have anything up or ready she took me back first and nothing was on. The retreat room was absolutely gorgeous and very warm however I did not get to enjoy most amenities because they just werent warm enough or ready for guests to be there. There was no music or sound playing when I was waiting until about 5 to 10 minutes after I had been sitting. My service was also cut short it was supposed to be a 60 minute body treatment however I did not getpicked up until about 12:15 and I left the spa completely changed out of my robe and slippers at 1:17. My treatment was also missing key factors that were listed on the website and I was also told that there were going to be four flips during the service but then only ended up doing two and Im not sure if that was because of the time issue or I was just misquoted at the beginning. I was very disappointed after my service however I did feel very exfoliated after just wish I could have got a little more for what I paid.

I had an appointment with the consultant that handles the Jane Iredale skincare makeup. Sue was so helpful in helping me select the mineral makeup that matched my skin perfectly. She explained how each product will benefit my skin. It was so nice to have a one on one time with the expert that handles the Jane Iredale products. Thank you Sue!

I got deep tissue massaging done and it was really a disappointing one.Had a massage with inexperienced therapist. She was just rubbing ..no pressure at all..Totally unhappy and not worth at all for money $150 that I paid

Just a day ago me and my best friend embarked on our girls day as a special treat from my husband.Spavia Day Spa exceeded my expectations due to their exceptional customer service, soothing atmosphere, and AMAZING staff. Although we were a few minutes late due to traffic, we were greeted with high, pleasent, and compassionate energy as we walked through the door.From the front desk, we were walked through halls of candles and super soft lighting to the resting louge. Then we were provided with our super soft robes and slippers. We were even given an opportunity to relax before our massages. The lighting, candles, music, and amenities were all conducive resting, relaxation and forgetting the time! Just as we were filled from taking in the calming atmosphere our masseuse and masseur were introduced, Jessica and William!I had the pleasure of being treated by the masseuse Jessica A. and my best friend had the pleasure of the masseur, William T. They were absolute professionals and Jessica delivered an experience so intense and yet delicate that I fell asleep three times!!! It was like I was in a Calgon take me away comercial!!! So good I snored a little too! The time unfortunately seemed fleeting and ended much too quick for 50 minutes. At the end, we laid there to take it all in and with a knock on the door we reluctantly got up to move out. Then we were greeted with water and smiles that were contagious.All I can do is sing the praises of this mom and pop cozy but modern five-star establishment. Who doesnt want personalized service with warm interactions and dream-world massage. JUST GO, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Im thinking about a membership!!!

What a great escape! This review will tell you what to expect, from booking to checking out. Online booking is really easy, and you’ll receive an email with a link to a form you’ll need to fill out pre-treatment(s). When you fill out the form(s), you’ll answer several questions to personalize the experience. There are 4 sound/music choices to choose from and which scent you prefer. There is also a question about chat preferences- which eliminates awkwardness.I had a facial with Sarah, and she was wonderful! Even though I had selected “ok with conversation,” she still read my cues and I was able to fully focus on the sounds, aromatherapy, and focus on breathing.The atmosphere is very peaceful and empowering. LED candles line the hallways and walls, the lighting is low, there are empowering messages around on decor, a policy for quiet voices in the retreat room, etc. Once you put in your spa robe (it’s like a cloud!) and spa sandals, head to the retreat room and you can help yourself to a heated neck wrap, one of several tea flavors, and there is hot and cold water. A counter separates the women’s retreat from the men’s retreat. There aren’t magazines likely due to covid, but there is an adult coloring book and colors pencils is you’re so inclined. No phones, of course. I plan to bring a book and arrive a little earlier next time :)Everyone is so friendly, professional, and pleasant. I wasn’t pressured to buy products or a membership. My wife and I got a much needed couples massage and it was a fantastic experience! The staff is super friendly, the facility is top notch and the massage was excellent. We will definitely be back soon.

I love the atmosphere at Spavia. Parker gave an awesome massage!

Policy Due to unforeseen circumstances is really disappointing. I was caught in a storm and traffic. I wasnt given an option to reschedule my massage. I will not recommend this business to anyone. Life happens but supporting a customer in an unfortunate event is meaningful.

Robin and everyone else were super helpful and friendly. The place itself is extremely well managed and clean, and they have a variety of treatments to choose from. Prices are reasonably priced and they also have lots of products you can purchase. If you’re looking for a place to relax in Cary come here it won’t disappoint .

Last minute plans i could not get spas to help me out then i i called robin at spavia she was so friendly and courteous on the phone she said let me see what i can put together for you and with very little time and notice she really saved the day and i was able to make our special day amazing. I would recommend this place over the others in the area btw the facial was also 5 star.Everyone was great and super nice especially robin she had exceptional customer service skills.

Took my wife to have a couples massage, and it was fantastic. Well definitely be coming back for another one.

Called on a Friday afternoon to verify that my booking through ClassPass would be honored and asked how the process would work, so I would know ahead of time and there wouldn’t be any surprises. Drove 30+ mins this morning, only to arrive and be told that my reservation was not there and that there have been issues with ClassPass showing availability, when there really are not bookings available.. wish that was something I had been notified of over the phone.Of course I contacted CP because the problem needs to be addressed on their end. I also understand that there are technical difficulties when trying to book through a 3rd party platform, but the faults within the partnership should not be placed on the client. Remove your spa from CP if the booking process has glitches.

I’ve gone to see Melanie twice and she is absolutely amazing!! Perfect amount of pressure and I always leave feeling a million times better!! Highly recommend

Do yourself a favor & ask for Conchetta & get the 80 minute massage. She was wonderful!

Wonderful amenities, atmosphere, and the services were fabulous. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. They really cover all of the bases and I think the prices are very affordable for what you receive.
