My overall experience at Mimosa Nailbar was exceptional. Upon arrival, Adam, the receptionist, greeted me warmly and promptly seated me. He offered me a beverage while I waited for my nail technician. Linda, my nail tech, was fantastic. She took her time to make sure I was happy with my color and design choices, and she made me feel very comfortable throughout the appointment. Her friendly and attentive service ensured a pleasant visit. I will definitely be returning!

I recently moved to Charlotte and have tried multiple nail salons but I think I’ve found the one and my new nail expert in Gina. She was so personable, polite, attentive and most importantly she gave me great advice. My nails will now always be in an almond shape for how small my hands are and I will be doing dip for the strength. Truly I just had the best nails done that I have ever had!! Highly recommend!

While my stylist was pleasant and the pedicure was decent, I did expect more cleanliness and a more lavish customer experience for the price & such raving reviews.I arrived shortly after lunch and was seated immediately. My stylist didn’t ask what temp I liked the water but did confirm what type of pedicure I wanted to receive (the Uptown Pedi $68). I went to the bathroom. While tissue, soap, paper towels were provided, I couldn’t help but notice that the bathroom was not very clean. Once arriving back to my seat I asked the stylist could she do a good French tip, because surprisingly, I’ve been to “experts” who botch it. As I’m receiving my pedicure, more people start to arrive who want pedicures. They decide to sit us all beside each other when here are ample seats available to spread us out because the seats are VERY close together. I’m also just looking around while I’m getting this WORK done on my toes and that’s when I noticed the uncleanliness below the bowls outer surface and trash behind the seats.I have no complaints as far as custom tee service but for an establishment with over 1k reviews and recommend on google…well in establish like this period, it should be SPOTLESS! Also, don’t listen to the TikTok “influencers” that’s how I ended up here. I didn’t check the Google Reviews. I’m a creator myself and had I had a better experience and felt like creating today…there would be a different search results when it comes to Mimosa Nail Bar via TikTok.Oh and if you do decide to try it, just get the $40 pedi for your first visit. I d k why I elected to get the more expensive options before knowing what type of establishment I was walking into…but I did. The Gel add on is $20 (wild) and French tip is $10 which resulted in an almost $100 1 hour & 20 minute pedicure. My feet feel amazing and I have the say my stylist did a great job with my pedi, checking with me every step of the way. And the customer service was okay too. But because I value cleanliness and overall stellar experience, I will likely not be back or recommend this establishment.Hope this review helps someone!

I have been coming here for almost 2 years & it has always been an amazing experience! i usually see julie or maria but every staff member i have encountered has been extremely experienced and puts their all into my nails! i have been to several nail salons from university city to uptown & none have compared to the skill & care found here at mimosa. could not recommend this nail salon more

This place is amazing!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!! The people here are so nice and welcoming. My nail tech laughed and giggled with me the whole time. You will fit in right away. My nail look fantastic as well!!

Tony was amazing on my shaping. But I will not be returning because I couldnt get the design i desired, I had to physically assist on their version of the simple design I desired and my brows broke out from the waxing. I had this done for my wedding day, so my wife and I will not return. Some advice would be to elevate the experience on the nail techs. We left a generous tip and revised our review after feeling pressured to leave a 5 star review. If you want basic you wouldnt mind this nail salon.

Wow! This place far exceeded my expectations! I was immediately welcomed in and offered a seat, even though they looked extremely busy.Hai was amazing- I can’t recommend him enough! He made sure that I not only had a drink and was comfortable, but my phone charger wasn’t working, so he found one for me to use while I was having a pedicure. He was incredibly attentive and the best pedicure I’ve ever had.He made me feel like the only customer, even though the place was packed. Cannot recommend enough.

Mimosa is great! Their booking system is super easy and they are always on time which I love. I typically get gel manicures and pedicures and they always do a great job. I’ve also gotten dip too. Nina did my most recent manicure and she was very detailed with the manicure. Highly recommend.

Mani and pedi were mediocre, the technician was so checked out and not detail oriented. My gel mani the edges were left rough and she didn’t even cover my whole nail, entire stripes down the side of a few nails were just not polished. One nail had broken earlier that day and she didn’t even smooth it out or cut it down to match, she just left the big gap in it and filed the sides a tiny bit. I even mentioned that I was getting married tomorrow and that didn’t improve her attention to detail or caring at all. Not what I expect when paying $140 for a mani pedi plus tip. Removed another star, barely made it through the wedding before it started chipping off.

I went to Mimosas nailBar for a nail and polish change, and honestly I couldnt be happier with the service I received. This is the best nail service I have gotten in CLT. The moment I walked in, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. Each nail technician was incredibly skilled, paying great attention to detail and ensuring that my nails were shaped and polished perfectly.The range of polish colors available was impressive, and the technician helped me choose a shade that suited my style perfectly. THE MOST RACIST NAIL SALON IN CHARLOTTE!Went two separate occasions and walk-ins of a race other than what I am were INTENTIONALLY SERVED FIRST!I had to wait 20 minutes before someone finally started my nails. Hannah gave no introduction and rushed during my nail service; she seemed a bit racist. I tip very well: however, it is based on the level of service I receive.It will go well to train the staff to give greetings and to be personable. I planned to get my feet done if I liked the service and decided against it after the experience . We If/when I do return, I will be sure to mention I do not want her serving me. Most seemed friendly; she was not one.I had glue on my fingers. If I would not have asked, she would not have taken it off. She barely massaged my hands.Learn not to judge books by its cover. Sadly, she missed getting a good tip today.Im in disbelief at the level of service in the south, compared to up north.

I like the overall experience here. It’s good that they have options at different price points. They also take walk-ins and that is helpful. Below are my nails two weeks after and they are still going strong.Remember to take your cups fro drinks if you want to try any of the drinks they offer. They also only accept cash or Venmo for tips. Tips cannot be paid via card.

Hands down, Mimosa is the best nail salon I’ve been to in the Charlotte area! My wife and I have been going here regularly since our wedding in November and I’m so happy we found them. Sooo, I wanted so bad to like this place. So cute and I was able to walk right in and get my manicure. Or so I thought. The person who started removing my last set left and said someone else would finish, that person came, then left and I gotta third person to do my nails. The first girl asked if I wanted water but since she left, I never got a drink or anything. They didn’t even have anymore orange juice for the mimosas which is pretty sad considering the name… Anywho, the nail tech I had was nice but didn’t give me a stiletto shape like I wanted. I also asked her to make the French tip thinner a twice and it honestly looked the same. She seemed very careless as well, there was a smudge on my nail and she almost let me cure my nails without even removing it.Then the same night I got my nails done, the tips start peeling. I got sns base and the woman insisted I do gel for the tips…these nails didn’t even last for 4 hours.

My first time at Mimosa and i had an amazing experience. The nail tech was kind and gentle with my toes. And the massage was just what I needed! Would definitely come back again.

First time here, came mid-day on a Saturday and was expecting a wait, but they got me in a chair immediately. They have plenty of pedi chairs so seems easy to turn people around. Really liked the general atmosphere of the shop and they have a large color selection that you can do from a book which makes it a lot easier. ***Had to revise my review after my tech actually completed the full pedicure, absolutely one of the worst pedi/polish jobs Ive ever had. She clipped my nails crooked and jagged, didnt bother to actually file them to be straight and then did an abysmal job polishing. It looks like a child polished my nails, its not smooth and theres polish all over my skin. Im in shock that she looked at this finished product and thought it was an acceptable job. Dont even trust her to fix it so Ill just be going home and salvaging this best I can but WOW do they need some quality control with the pedis. Im sure every tech is not this bad but this is someone letting you know you guys need to get a grip on that asap. Im super turned off from this place and initially I was excited that I had found a nice, easy shop to go to but dont think I can come back after what I just experienced. Honestly it felt like she didnt really care and was kind of rushing most of the time but for me, as long as the finished product is good at the end of the day I dont care, Im rather easy to please, but this was a big NO for me. Just be aware, I dont like to micromanage and expect that a decent nail shop can do a simple pedi with polish but Id be taking a closer look to nip the poor quality in the bud early if you come here. I got the midtown pedi and paid $47. All in all, I cannot recommend based off the personal experience I just had. Added photos of how absolutely terrible this pedi looks, I walked straight out of the salon and took these immediately smh.

I visited Mimosa on a busy Thursday afternoon. Tina completed my pedicure, and I was blown away by the experience! The leg and foot massage was truly magical, it felt like she had magic fingers! During my recent visit, I experienced condescending treatment from an employee who failed to provide me with the same level of service as non-black clients, including refusing my requests for long nails and nail designs despite advertisement.

Not worth the money, I chose the midtown all around pedicure and it was quick and they didnt scrub my feet properly nor do any callus treatment.I also told the technician to do two coats of the light color I liked for my feet since I only like two coats and she insisted to do three and I hate the way the polish looks (bulky)… not returning.

My first experience here was great. I stopped going to nail salons for a long time and when I decided I needed to treat myself to a pedicure, I chose to come here based on many positive reviews. Marywan was very sweet and welcoming; made the uptown pedicure feel really nice and just wanted I needed! They also serve drinks while you get your treatment. Will definitely be back.

If putting up photos of feet wasnt so ... weird ... I would have. While my pedicure experience overall was wonderful (great massage, loved the hot stones, scrubs, and hot wax treatment), the actual polish job was pretty bad. You could distinctly tell where the second coat was applied, which was done very poorly. I ended up removing the polish the next day because of the job. I cant say I do or dont recommend this salon, but definitely check your polish before leaving so you can ask for touch ups. I did not look closely enough, and left before I could ask for the job to be re-done.

Ive been going to Mimosa Nails for over 6 months and Ive found Hibi who does an amazing job on my nails! They normally last for 4 weeks and shes great at designs. Everybody is so friendly and I always get a mimosa or two.

The worst place to get a pedicure. It was our first time, and when asked for Mimosas, the guy forgot. We had to remind our nail tech twice. They use the same tools for everyone, which doesnt seem sanitary. I had to ask my nail tech to clean my toes properly. When done, there was no place to dry our toes. Despite waiting 15 minutes, no quick-dry option was available, and my pedicure nail polish got ruined. For $38, I expected better service, a more sanitized environment, and facilities to aid in drying nail polish. Dont waste your money or time.Responding to the message below: The comment below from the company is completely false! I never went back to fix my toe because I was leaving the next day back to NY, therefore no new tools was used. And I did pay, thats how I was able to know the price. I paid $40 in cash.

Mimosas Nail Bar is my go-to nail salon in Charlotte and has been for a couple years now. They truly do not disappoint. I’ve been trying to branch out with some new nail options and just got a fun ombré from Mary (Mary1 if you want to see her)! I’ll happily keep coming back.

The experience inside the nail bar was great! It’s beautiful and everyone is so nice and offered something to drink, but I got gel nails and they only lasted 3 days. I got my nails done on Saturday and they started chipping yesterday (Tuesday). I was not happy that they didn’t last.

Nina and Hannah were the absolute best! I got a midtown pedicure and a French SNS manicure. Each of them were extremely attentive, took their time, and I was extremely pleased with the service.

I came in for a gel pedicure. I asked the nail technician not to use the nail filer machine to remove the gel I arrived with and use acetone and the cuticle pusher since the machine is damaging my toenails. She still proceeded to use it despite my request. Finally, she finished my gel pedicure and I noticed nail polish was on my left ankle. She made zero attempts to remove it until I mentioned it. She proceeded to use a NAIL FILER to remove the polish from my skin! I told her she was hurting me to which she informed me that it does not hurt. How dare you tell someone what pain they are feeling when you are not the person experiencing it?! At this point, I’m appalled by this horrific customer service since she already cut my toe while cutting my cuticles. It’s safe to say, I will NEVER return to this establishment!

My sisters and I came here for manicures and pedicures before my wedding. We were accommodated by very kind staff and were seated all together. They offered us drinks, made us feel comfortable, and asked us questions! Everyone was super pleased with their nails and they kept us past closing time to ensure everyone’s nails were done to perfection. My new favorite nail salon in the QC! The vibes are immaculate.

I got my wedding nails done here and they were so great! I went here today with an appt and got the worse pedicure of my life.Waiting 20 min in cold water and then someone came and had 0 experience.My cuticles are burning and my nails hurt.Please be cautious about coming here.

Wish I could rate higher but this was one of the worst nail experiences I’ve ever had. My nail tech was a younger guy who clearly just started doing nails. A pedicure and gel manicure took more than 2.5 hours and the rest of my party was waiting for ~30 minutes for my service to finish (they got the same services). Not sure if it was his first day on the job, but he still needs to be trained.

I love the vibe of the place, but the manicure was not worth the money I spent. I got a gel manicure from Jenny, and it’s the worst gel I have ever gotten. I chose black nails with glitter, but the polish is see-through and patchy. It started chipping within a few days. Additionally, the tips of my nails were not covered properly, and Jenny filed down the tip, exposing the unpainted nail, which led to further chipping.

Hai was very good! Got a pedicure and its one of the best Ive had!

The is one of the best pedicures I ever had. The people are friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is on point, mimosas are included. Loved it. The only complaint is the way the chairs are set up against the wall, you cant really lean back. But enjoyed it boneless and will be back.

** Updated Review: first and foremost, my nail tech asked me to leave them a review for a $2 discount. I thought no big deal, so I did. Plus the banter was going well. However, from the start I was a bit skeptical about the experience but thought that no way would it continue to worsen. Once I arrived, I was attended to quickly but then the person who turned the water on for my feet, left and I had to be the one to turn it off because it almost spilled over. Then once my nail tech arrived, the process seem to have been rushed from the beginning. She was even talking on the phone and texting while doing both my toe nails and hands??? I also noticed that she didn’t bother trying to apply the gel closet to the top and 3 days later now, it looks like I’ve had them on for longer. Not to mention, once I went to go pay I was told that prices had gone up, and for prices to have gone up and still get that kind of experience? I’ve been other times and sure I could have had one bad experience but ultimately, this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. **My go to spot to get my nails done! Friendly staff and appreciate the effort with my nails each time. Best part is you get to relax and sip on a delicious drink.

Although my nail tech was very sweet, I have to give this nail shop 3 stars due to cleanliness and quality. After 2 days, my pedicure has chipped and after 3 days, my gel manicure has started to also chip. The pedicure station was not clean at all. The cup holder was covered in nail dust from a previous customer and the arm rest and cup holder were stained. The floor and pedicure bowl also looked as though it hasn’t been cleaned. I was hesitant to proceed with the service after noticing some of the cleanliness issues from the beginning but decided to give it a shot due to the great reviews. I don’t plan to return.

I’m visiting for the weekend and stopped in on a whim. This is a great salon and I got the best pedicure ever. Super nice nail tech. Love they serve a variety of beverages. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in town.

Salon was very clean and spacious. Even though I walked in with no appointment an hour before closing I was still able to be serviced with no issues. An did a wonderful job on my gel polish change on my toes and I received the cleanest set of SNS I’ve had to date!

My girl did a good job on my pedicure but the owner or manager of establishment rushed her to get me out. I paid $80 for a pedicure and the man that rushed her rinsed my feet off and rushed me out the door without lotion, cuticle oil or massage (which is part of the service). Pretty disappointing as they always do a good job but seems like management (or whoever) is money hungry and did not complete my service.

Gina was amazing! I tried something new today and she made my nails and pedicure look PERFECT!

Update: I’ve been back to Mimosa many times since my first time here and have been super happy with every visit. My most recent was a pedicure with David and he was amazing! Very friendly and thorough with the pedicure. I’ll absolutely be back!I recently moved to Charlotte and was looking for a new nail place. This one was within walking distance and did not disappoint! I’ve had a pedicure, a manicure with tips and dip powder and a manicure with just dip powder. All were fantastic!

Arrived for my mani/pedi a couple of minutes early. Was seated and offered a drink. I left 45 minutes later with no explanation they were running late, or an estimated wait time. The lady at the front desk just looked helpless and exasperated. Shame - I’d heard good things!

Friendly service and clean establishment. The quality of my nails is always fantastic. I will be returning for future needs. Prices are very reasonable too.

I was visiting a friend who lives in Charlotte. She recommended this place. However, I did not have a good experience and will never go back. I asked for gel polish, but after my pedicure the guy said they did not have it in the color I had chosen. He did offer me the complimentary drink until my friend beside me asked for something to drink. I saw him pour something into the nail polish, which watered it down. He painted 1 coat on my nails and said okay let it air dry. He said he had done this for 10 years. I still gave a tip as a courtesy, but I could have done this at home. My manicure began chipping by the next day and all I had done was shop and eat dinner. I was so upset and disappointed that I wasted my money.

Unprofessional—I spoke with someone on the phone asking about the cost of mani-pedicure with no polish and was told it would be cheaper with no polish.Long story short, I was told by the tech who serviced me and my girlfriend that it was still the same price even though I mentioned I spoke with someone in the phone that it was cheaper with no polish.Very disappointing.

I have been to Mimosa Nail bar several times now, it is a very convenient location for me. Sadly, today will be the last time I go there. This is the second time I have been cut, to the point of bleeding while getting a manicure. Also I still have SNS residue stuck to my skin which is very annoying and I asked for a manicure but my cuticles were not even touched. The quality of the nail technicians that I have experienced there are just not good. Not to mention the guy doing my nails today kept letting his face mask fall below his nose which made me feel really uncomfortable and concerned about following Covid safe behaviors.

I’ve been seeing Mary for over two years and I can say she’s the best nail tech I’ve had in a while. She schedules my appointments for me and ensures that I get what I want every time. Thank you Mary!

I was in a pinch and needed a pedicure. Sadly Im not sure my technician knew what she was doing. The previous polish wasnt fully removed (gel) and the bottle for funny bunny was clearly filled with Alpine White. And the in the midst of my service it was interrupted by a cockroach. So theres that.

Horrible. The picture of my rough toe is from the day AFTER my pedicure. The chipped gel polish is 4 days after the manicure. Not to mention, I had to go back in to have 3 nails completely redone because the lines were crooked. Also, they failed to mention the single black line was $25 extra until AFTER it was done. $100 for a bootleg mani/pedi? No ma’am!

Enjoyed a birthday spa pedicure here and it was a lovely experience from the mimosas to the the cute pastel pedicure I got that included paraffin wax. Delightful! Friendly staff. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. I just hate I wasnt able to get my matching manicure. When the pedicure was done, we were told I would have to come back for that, due to scheduling. Otherwise, it was a nice visit.

Did the downtown pedicure and it lasted maybe 15 minutes. They did not take their time and make sure it was clean, he put my flip flops on AFTER he painted my toes and smudged the nail polish. Then he went back over the top coat with the nail polish again and it was just a mess. The shaping is bad and the paint job is also bad. Mimosa was just orange juice. Wont be returning.

My first time going to Mimosas Nail Bar was great! I called on a Saturday morning and got a 10:40 appointment for a pedicure. They make you give a credit card number to secure the appointment btw. They also let me know to bring my own cup if I would like a beverage. (You can go to Rhino Market next door to get a cup if you forget!)They ask everyone to wash their hands as soon as they get checked in—before you choose your polish color. The staff was all wearing masks but customers are not required to wear masks.My appointment actually started on time and I was on my way in less than an hour! Everything seems to be run very efficiently! I’ve been to other nail salons where they put you in the chair but then you sit there waiting for 30 minutes before a nail tech starts your pedicure so I was very impressed that it wasn’t the case at Mimosas.My nail tech did a great job on my toes!Parking can be tight if you come at a busy time. The pedicure chairs are arranged in pairs so if you have a group of more than two, someone might feel left out of the conversation.You can pay for your service with credit card but tips are either cash or Venmo.

I’m sorry to say I won’t be returning. I asked for my cuticles to be cut (an additional $10). $60 later and this (see photos) is what my cuticles look like the very next day. (And, yes, I asked him to cut my cuticles a second time; the young man was kind but obviously untrained).I’d advise you to take your money elsewhere like I need to do to fix this.

Never have I had a worse experience at a nail salon. My cuticles are so swollen and cut from my manicure this afternoon. For $72 this is outrageous.

I had previously noticed some unsanitary practices at Mimosas the many times I had been there, but always overlooked it. BIG mistake. After my last visit about 6 months ago, where I had received SNS nail services, within days my nails turned green and I developed a fungal infection. I had to go to the doctor and get a prescription cream to get rid of it! Never again

I’ve been coming here for months and the past few visits, I have been less than pleased with the service. Today the service I received was not at all worth what I paid. My nails were all crooked, I had to cut my cuticles that were long and uncut, and my nails were filed so excessively that I had to ask her to stop filing as she made my nails extremely narrow. Unsure if I will be returning after this last visit.

This is my first and last time going to this location. I went in there to get a pedicure on 3/17. 2 days later my gel polish was chipping. I went back on 3/20 to get it fixed and my polish started chipping again not even a week later. I am displeased with the service.
