Visiting from out of town and this came up close by my hotel.. Upon entering, I asked the guy by the entrance if there was anything special going on that night, and he mentioned Drag Queen show. So I decided to stay and had 1 beer. Almost 2 hrs later, no Drag show and place is kinda dead when I left around 11:45pm on a Friday night.

Argon - went there Friday night and I really had a good time. This place is a chill local bar vibe kinda spot. They did not have any food being served or a food truck outside either. Not sure because of covid or thats just their thing.. Has a back patio as well. This place is big enough to hold events tho there were none the night I visited. The bartender guy with grey hair (ofcourse I forgot his name, sorry dude) is by far the sweetest, most patient guy ever. My drinks were super. Very friendly patrons as well. All in all a safe and happy space for a fun night. Rr - clean, well maintained and no, there arent separate rr for men and women like at other establishments. Im going to grab a sandwich before I go there next time.

There is a bartender name Nathan. He is one find man and super friendly. He makes a killer tequila sunrise. I like my drinks like i like my men fruity🥰. This is the place to come. I drove over an hr and will definitely be coming back. The reason I picked that price is because i did drink a lot lol.

Dj wunder bread needs to stick to his day job. Pay attention to your crowd, barely anyone was dancing. You can’t dance to two different unaligned beats and the songs cycling so fast. I’ve never seen it so boring and minimal dancing before. My friend group left early. Killed the birthday fun.

I absolutely love the energy and environment of Argon. From the first time I visited they made me feel very welcome and appreciated.I’ll never forget the second night I attended when another patron came in very inebriated trying to continue his party there while trying to touch anyone he could. The bartenders instantly knew not to serve him, the bar back checked on the patrons affected, and management came up and resolved the situation almost instantaneously. What could have been a night killer was only a momentary bump in the road that was quickly/professionally resolved.The music is bumpin’, the establishment is clean, and the staff genuinely does what they can for every patron to have a great time responsibility/safely.I can’t wait to be back soon!

My favorite place at the Queen City. Argon is one of the most diverse gay places in North Carolina. From the outside, they have plenty parking spots, also I like the ID inspection and the security protocol..then you pay for the Cover; mostly is $10, for members $5. The music is depending of the Dj. But mostly great atmosphere. Drinks have reasonable prices and is easy to get a drink; the customer service is great. The dance floor is enough, Argon also has a patio area or smoking area. They close at 2:00 a.m. Enjoy your visit at Argon! You wont regret

An absolutely stellar place to hang out and people watch. The staff and patrons are (mostly) all very inclusive and tolerant. Im not always everybodys cup of tea but Ive found a few of my tribe the 2 times I came to this bar in the past month. Music was SUPER upbeat and fun, fun, fun last night.

Went for the first time on a Thursday night with my best friend. We had an amazing time! Everyone from the staff and other patrons were so friendly.It happended to be karaoke night too which was a bonus! I loved how everyone was present and enjoying the moment. Such an authentic experience. When we left, we just about hugged everyone good night.I will definitely visit again!

Saturday nights are amazing! Friendly staff & great people. Very diverse crowd, great drinks and great music.

4th time hereGreat bar - music kinda sucks - not for solo people . Highly awkward on fridays . Again if. You come solo you will be a wallflower as music is kinda boring. I tried hard to enjoy this gay scene and regretted it every single time . Come with friends or it’s a waste of money.this is for the “gay clique “ I wouldn’t recommend

I have been in the bar scene here in Charlotte for the better part of the last decade, and I applaud both Argon and Sidelines for being inclusive and intolerant of BS and ignorance. Its a great place to dance, sing and let loose, and Ive never had any issues with the patrons nor the staff. Much love and prosperity to Kevin and John... keep up the good work, you guys!

I came here two years ago before the country unfortunately shut down due to Covid-19 and my fiancé and I had a ball here. There was a guy there that was so friendly to my bae and I and made the hell out of those drinks for us. I forgot his name but I know he was brown skin with a bald head and wore his caps backwards but nevertheless he was a excellent bartender. The atmosphere was so chilled and laidback which I like without any drama. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Charlotte to visit to check this spot out. I promised you won’t be disappointed. My fiancé and I are moving to Charlotte from Newport News, VA in 2022 and this will be one of our main spots to go to😎

Last night was my first time in Argon and the environment and the people were truly amazing I felt so loved and comfortable 💕 I felt like I fit right in the drinks were truly amazing and worth it the only thing was the music I love all music but if they could switch it up a little more it would be perfect 🥰 but this was truly the best place to bring in my birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 I would definitely recommend Argon as a place to have fun 👍

I LOVE Argon. It’s my number 1 gay bar in CLT, however, the music tonight cannot be forgiven. The DJ turned off Whitney for BEASTY BOYS?!?!! I cannot let this go undocumented. Please tell DJ WhyteBread(yes his real name) to please please please update his song choices. Argon is one of the TOP gay bars of CLT.

Great LGBTQ club actually took about 6 people with me and as promised they had a great time the tall bartender with the glasses awesome however the little skinny guy with the glasses and the attitude need to listen closely to the customer he completely screwed up our drinks and we ordered melon balls and got fooled...however the club was great and the parking was great and secure ...you can go party there and not worry ..

I didn’t feel like the bartenders were very friendly, they didn’t have the stuff to make the drink I wonted, but I’m gonna try going again
