My partner and I dont drink and definitely do not like bars.HOWEVER. this place is great!!!! The service is good, the atmosphere is super beautiful and unique, the music is good. The seating arrangement is pleasurable always-lots of variety and never feel cramped. And as a plus, they are quick with keeping seating organized... And pick up orders. We go there quite frequently and really enjoy the food here. Its way above par for a bar. Plus, when we do feel like having a drink.. its a good place to have one. The vibe is mid. It can get crowded on weekends but not in a bad way. Parking is terrific because its literally connected to the restaurant/bar. THEY STOP SERVING FOOD AT 10:00 P.M. but the bar remains open after that. Its also a great place to take pictures with lots of photo opportunities. Another edition is that its right across from the downtown park which is great for pictures too!
Ive always wanted to go here. Looking from the outside vibe looked nice, and it was always packed outside. I finally got a chance to go here 6/8/24 & its nothing like I expected. We were going to eat there. we checked in at the wait list at 715 and didnt get seated until 806. I was confused because it was only 2 in my party and empty tables. When we finally got seated, they put us at a table for 6. The bathroom was disgusting. I have never seen a ditier bathroom in my life. They should be shut down for that alone. Ordered fries and tenders. Mediocre at best. Very disappointing. Staff was ok. I will never go back here to eat again. I wouldnt mind sitting outside having cocktails, thats it!
While the food and drinks are great, I do feel the cleanliness of the restaurant needs some improvement. The wait was not long but the hostess sat my husband and I at a booth, the table and booth seats had food in them. We changed our seating to the bar and there was dried condiment on the wall. This isn’t the first time we have dined here but this last visit has us concerned for how well the restaurant is cleaned
We went to this place to watch the Euros Semi Finals with England and Netherlands because they advertised a space to pregame before the CopaAmerica semifinals. The place was completely understaffed. They couldn’t seat over half of the tables and at the start of the game already had a 4 hour wait. We opted to stand in the bar for the first half of the game. Bartenders were rude, wouldn’t look anyone in the eye. The bar ran out of all their beer by 30 minutes in to the game. We didn’t eat. We got into Mellow Mushroom across the street right away. They were just as busy but had great staff who accommodated the rush with grace. I won’t ever go back to this place. They should not have built such a large restaurant if they can maintain it. Definitely shouldn’t advertise for sports games.
Ink N Ivy had a very chill vibe. The service was great, food tasty, and the atmosphere/music was on point. I had the goat cheese burger. It was flavor and the goat cheese nice and creamy. The burger itself was a little overcooked, but it was good nonetheless. My daughter had the blackened chicken pasta. That was YUM. Add some crawfish and shrimp and youve got a very good cajun pasta. My drink was good, but I dont particularly like bitters, so I didnt love it, but it kinda tasted like a spiked Creamsicle. We went on Thirsty, so their signature cocktails were only $6. Im gonna go back on a Tuesday for taco Tuesdays. I was told they they have a dj and salsa and batchata lessons on Taco Tuesday.
This restaurant is eye popping with beauty. I loved all the different areas and art. First time in Charlotte and I went here to meet with my sorority sister. We walked right in and sat at the bar. The food was good but the drinks were better! The mimosa carafe was small but it was worth it. The atmosphere was very chilled. Parking is a hassle and if you are new to the area read the signs, pay to park, and drive slow you could miss the place. It seems to be in a downtown type area on a one-way.
Kasey is literally the most amazing server ever. Like she takes care of me and my friend EVERY time we come there and I cannot express how amazing her service is. Definitely one of the BEST bartenders/servers. attentive and super sweet. You literally will not find anyone like her. If you go to Ink ask for KASEY!!!!!! You will not regret your experience.
Гуляли и решили зайти выпить по бокалу пива . Мы сели за бар . К нам долго никто не подходил ( . Заказали картошку фри . Фри была вкусная. Интерьер нам понравился , выглядит интересно.(Translated by Google)We were walking and decided to stop in for a glass of beer. We sat down at the bar. No one approached us for a long time (. We ordered French fries. The fries were delicious. We liked the interior, it looks interesting.
I don’t even know where should I even start. We were waiting for almost 15 minutes by the door to be seated and then our server decided to give us 15 more minutes, just to order some drinks. And finally when we placed our order. The waitress didn’t get them all. He got the two burgers, but he didn’t get appetizers and sizes we ordered so we had to wait extra time after our food got on the table. Now let’s get the food. The food was taste less. I never thought a burger be with no taste, or a burger you could never go wrong with it, right? Well here you can have a girl was seriously tasteless. No taste at all. I want to throw it away so bad but I don’t like to throw away food I don’t wanna sound like a Karen but I seriously did not like anything about this place but the atmosphere and the view.
My dinner date here was awesome ; the food was delicious and the bartender had excellent drink recommendations. The atmosphere and vibe is cozy and modern and is welcoming to all. I was very impressed with the management team especially Nick. They were working the floor proactively and making sure both guest and employees had the support they needed. Highly recommend
The reservation was highly recommended as a must go to while in uptown Charlotte. I expected it to be very expensive but I was please to see everything on the menu was very reasonably priced. I ordered the “poisoned Ivy” drink which was recommended my the waiter as a very popular choice. I didn’t really care too much for the taste of it … but because I’m not wasteful o did drink it all. For food I ordered Blackened Chicken PastaChar-Grilled Chicken, Linguine, Blackened Cream Sauce, Tomato, Bacon, Scallion. I was very pleased especially because I love pasta ! The set up & design of the restaurant was very cool for pictures. I was told the back opens up to like a club like atmosphere so I have to come back to check that out. I would come back again & I do recommend.
This was our first time at Ink N Ivy and the location is great, walking distance from the Panthers stadium and Knights ball field. The food was actually pretty good, slightly over priced for the portion sizes but you should expect that when you come to a place attempting to be unlike your typical bar. Talking about the drinks, they were very well made, so kudos to the bartender. We went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, so as to be expected there was a slight wait, not overly crowded but the Waitlist option worked great and we were seated at our designated time slot. Our only complaint was our server was slightly inattentive and it was so evident that her manager had to address her about it. It really wasnt an issue for us as we were not in a rush but it needed to be stated to be fair on our review.
Post tax season jaunt to Charlotte and we headed straight from the airport to the Ink and Ivy. The environment is very hip and looking forward to coming back to see the nightlife scene. They have a great patio as well as plenty of indoor seating surrounded by a wall of of TVs tuned to all sports so you won’t miss any big moments. As far as food goes, we went all in on the bevies and complimented that with fried foods - a pairing I would highly recommend. But in all seriousness, our waitress Polina was great - very efficient and ensured drinks and food were delivered timely and as ordered. And our food was quite tasty. The sweet and spicy shrimp was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Looking forward to coming back for the night scene.
My lady and I dropped in for dinner Friday evening (5pm). There were no wait times and seating available. This location is in Uptown Charlotte so be prepared to pay for parking. There is a decent sized lot off the patio area at a rate of $12 for 24 hours. I love the ambience at Ink N Ivy. Nice & clean, well decorated and spacious. Great place for entertaining. They have nice bar area with ample seating and flat screens everywhere. Now the food. We ordered the Spicy Lamb Meatballs as an appetizer. The taste was pretty good but they werent spicy at all and needed more seasoning. For entrees, we ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta and Salmon Fresca with a side of Mac N Cheese. Both entrees were delicious but the Mac N Cheese...oooweee! Cheesy, gooey, and creamy goodness with a crispy top. Must have! The staff was nice and friendly. Our waiter did an excellent job. We will return.
Super cool place to hang out and have a drink, met some new people who shared champaign with myself and my girlfriend, the staff are super friendly and accommodating to your wants. One thing to note, our menu was sticky and had beard hairs on it when presented to us, was not a fan of that which is why I gave 4 stars. Otherwise great experience.
I will never come back to this restaurant. The manager is rude and deceiving.. Before we sat down we were guaranteed that we will be able to hear and watch the Copa America game. We arrived around 6:30 pm to see the game and spend over 200 dollars. When the game started we kindly asked the manager why we couldn’t hear the game and he responded very rudely that the stereo system isn’t build for that. We were so disappointed from being deceived. We missed 1/2 of the game looking for another location.
The management at this sports bar was shockingly incompetent and unprofessional. Beyond their overt racism and deceptive practices, their overall management of the establishment was abysmal. The managers disregard for customer satisfaction was evident as they callously scamming people. It was clear they had no respect for their customers time, money, or dignity. The lack of accountability and integrity displayed by the management is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Such egregious behavior should not be tolerated in any business, let alone one catering to the public. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and wary of ever returning or recommending this place to anyone.
I have been here before and we had top notch service but today we went here to have brunch and they were out of coffe and a lot of the things on the menu were out of stock . On top of that when my food was brought to the table they drop the food alll over the floor. The rice was bad . Overall such a bad experience
Carson, whatever her name was tried to be funny. I tipped her $15 and she came back and threw three dollars on my table after I told her I need my change back. Service was OK, but please don’t sit at the table that I’m eating at trying to be fake nice but you’re actually a horrible server
Was there for after works drinks yesterday with some work people. Opened a tab and they held on to my debit card, which is pretty standard. They then proceeded to lose my debit card by giving it to another customer who then used it to pay their own tab with it and leave the restaurant. When the staff figured out what happened they couldn’t have cared less. I had to ask multiple times to get the fraudulent bill refunded and had to watch them do it and give me the refund receipt.I know it’s a one-off kind of thing but the way they really couldn’t have cared less about something that was clearly their own fault reflects poorly on the establishment.
Management lacks food inventory management and CSAT skills. Food was mediocre, wait staff were apologetic and attentive. Management on the other hand was cold and carless.** Definitely DO NOT bring your clients here.**
This location is prime!! Right by the stadiums and downtown. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and daily specials. Word of caution, dont think about sitting at the bar if you are on the wait list, bartenders will call you out. I bartended for 8 years, so many thoughts, but just be nice about it and offer to cash out for your guests drinks while they wait and assure they will be seated shortly. No need to tell them they cant be helped if they are on the wait list. Over server Taylor was sweet and took good care of us or I would have given less stars. The environment is fun and lots to look at inside.
I visited this establishment yesterday 4/28. I opened a tab ordered 4 drinks for the night. I was charged roughly $57… cool no problem, paid my bill and closed out my tab. Why when I checked my bank account this morning, I was charged twice! Disgusting.. I will not be returning to this establishment. Also the food was nasty & cold when we got it 🤮
The bartenders at the bar are kinda rude and inattentive… still tipped the bartender, and he made me pay twice for my drinks. This place is in a great location in Uptown Charlotte but the service is not good.
Great spot, it’s my drunk food place. However, they consistently forget to put the sauce in the bag for your take out order like today. If sauce is going to be 1.75 a puck I’d like to get it. Kinda is a buzz kill to try enjoy food without sauce.
A great place for good food and a great party. The decor and venue set up is very creative. Great opportunity to enjoy various flavors. Nice variety within the menu. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts, lamb, chicken, and veggies. Enough for two to share. Great drinks and specials and the Adult Capri Sun was delicious!
If I could give this place negative stars I would!!! We went to watch la copa America and asked if they were going to play the game with sound. We were told yes and ordered over $200 dollars worth of food and drinks only to be told they weren’t going to play the sound because they close in 45 minutes. This isn’t considered a sports bar. Don’t come here and spend your money. Not worth it. The manager secoya was nasty with the worst attitude.
Outside seating, I like. Riding through downtown and chose this place. Salmon is good. Wraps are good. Chicken sandwich was good. Big place big crowd lots of noise. The folks are having a good time. This is the place for a good time.
I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN HORRIBLE MANAGER NAMED Secoys. We were a party of 6 looking forward to watching and hearing the game. We asked before hand if they were going to play the game before sitting down they said yes. When the game started playing they didn’t put it on because they said they will be closing soon which I understand we would have to leave at half time but we sat down because we wanted to enjoy the game. It’s a sports bar only when it’s convenient for them they tricked us into thinking we can see/hear the game but when it came down to it they just took our money. This is not the first time they do this apparently and the manager had the worst attitude saying there’s no one else we can talk to about this when we asked for a higher up. We just wanted to talk to a reasonable person instead of “secoys “ the manager with the WORST Customer Service. Many people left after we told them what the manager said. So dissatisfied/disappointed with this “sports bar”.
Our server, Taylor, was awesome! I also thoroughly enjoyed the charred brussel sprouts. The $4 Sam Adams was perfect and the $5 Titos was exactly what my girlfriend wanted. The salmon fresca was just okay... The salsa was good but the salmon was very fishy. Also this plate just comes with plain rice and very plain steamed broccoli. If they paired this salmon (fresher salmon) with the sprouts and a seasoned rice it would have been much better. What brought this from 4 stars to 3 stars was the bartender with blue hair. We have no problem with a 40 minute wait when there is an event going on; however, her attitude was very uncalled for. Even on the patio, another guy said he was going to ask her about bar seating but after he heard her response to us he wasnt about to sit at the bar even if it was okay.
Beautiful set up. First thing walked in greeted as soon as I entered. I sat down to a soft seat felt like I sat on a pillow amazing designs. I got carried away exploring the details in the decor. I felt comfortable and free. I took all the pictures I wonted and no one said a word. The food just amazing. I will definitely go back...a must visit place!!!
My group of 3 stopped for drinks and appetizers. We sat on the spacious deck with well-spaced tables. They were using QR codes instead of menus, which is a good idea I think, but it was so bright out that 2 of our phones couldnt read it. Server had to go search for one. We ordered calamari, wings, tenders & fries, and mac & cheese. The first 3 dishes were acceptable, but no one could eat the mac & cheese. It was 3 layers, a vaguely flavored, milky sauce with bland pasta sitting in it and cheese melted on top. I would have preferred the blue box. My water glass sat empty for 15 minutes with no sign of the server. I would not recommend this place.
Told my boyfriend who had his head down at the bar (we were waiting on our entrees) that he had to leave. I told the bouncer that we were waiting on food & he couldn’t leave without me- and we could make our food to go. He said “too bad he has to go” and proceeded to kick him out and make him stand outside, where he fell down and busted his head open.We are now sitting at the ER. Shoutout to the staff here! They all are terrible, besides the cute brown headed bartender.0/10, do not recommend.
Was looking forward to eating here at the suggestion of “the state we’re in” online. Decent cocktails we waited forever for…… once we got our drinks we were told there was a “food hold”… would’ve been nice to have been told that by the hostess when we walked in, especially when we asked specifically about both eating at the bar and sitting at one of the 5 or 6 empty tables outside but there was a 45 minute wait for those. ORRRR when the waitress/bartender started taking our order. Lol. Empty tables, no food.
Atmosphere - sat on the patio which was well shaded and cleaned. R&b music on continuous play made it really enjoyable. The hostess at the front was delightful and pleasant to talk too.Server - Minni was my server. She was the main reason the experience was great! Took her some time to get to the table, but she was the only server covering a whole patio so no blame on her. Very personable and great energy. I highly recommend her.Food - well…. Had the salmon broccoli Alfredo. The garlic bread felt like a bucket of salt was dumped on it and the linguini was cheap quality. But the flavor overall was decent. The salmon. Not seasoned well enough for me.Drinks - pick Me up Espresso martini: oddly enough I ordered one and the glass was dirty, and the drink itself wasn’t that well made. It was very black for a martini that should be mixed with Kahlua. When I returned it (b/c of the dirty glass) the 2nd one came out amazing! Rich, creamy and a bit fuller in the glass. So Be mindful the expectation should be like the 2nd drink, not the first.Overall- food was just okay, and the service / atmosphere was on point!
Service was soooo slow. But the place itself is really cool. Food wise pretty good, no complaints there. Menu is a little small but so long as they can do some food items really well thats more important.
Big welcome signs out front for COPA America! However cant staff for the game. Legit watching the Euro semi as I sit at the bar for 30m with no drink and no bar tender has even glanced over. Have no idea about food, but lets just say if the place is unprepared for such a colossal event, they wont be prepared to cook for you either. DO NOT Spend any $ at this dump.
Usually attend regular outing’s at this establishment. My family was sat and we waited 15 minutes while we were ignored by the bar staff that got drink orders for table in front of us. No one approached us to get our initial drink orders or offer water. I then asked to speak to management and Tj or JT came out and blamed the only server in the building for being busy, when I explained that the bartender came and got the table in front of ours order but didn’t bother to assist us he repeatedly blamed the server and did not deescalate the situation or offer to take our drink order instead he said it wasn’t his problem after I mentioned not returning as a regular guest at this establishment due to his lack of customer service and management for blaming the only poor server who had a patio full. I will not return to this establishment which sucks because the food is good. Poor management skills. Coming from someone who works in hospitality/Service industry.
Waited an hour for Brussels sprouts and my friends chicken tenders and never got out food. Once we reminded them, they rushed only the Brussels sprouts out burnt and we were offered nothing to make it better. After waiting about 8 min for them to find our orders in their system for a refund, we left hungry with nothing but waisted time.
Be prepared to pay for parking. There’s a parking lot onsite. It was $15. There’s also a parking garage, but I’m not sure if the price. This place was nice. There was so much seating. There’s plenty indoor and outdoor seating. The music was a vibe. Televisions everywhere. All the staff was great, starting with the bouncers as you approach the entrance. Our server was over the top. We had a group of 13 ladies. Imagine how that could be. Not once did he frown…..every word was always with a smile. The pink lady was a good drink. The hocus pocus shot. Blah. I ordered the blackened chicken pasta add shrimp. It was flavorful and the bomb once I added more sauce. I like it saucy. This is definitely a place I would visit again if I’m in NC.
This place was a fun, upbeat, and refreshing bar/restaurant. Lots of TVs to watch your event and great food. My favorite was the Blackened Chicken Pasta. The fried food was also on point. Crispy, extra crunchies in your basket and hot when it came out. Being new to this city, bartender Shanice and bar back Zach were amazing in recommending places that are local favories and their personal ones alike. They are two of the top quality people that East Coast has to offer. It was such a pleasure dining here as they make you feel like one of their own. Thank you, staff and team, for an amazing experience while here in Charlotte. I wont soon forget it.
Food was tasty. Staff behind the bar were very nice. They seemed to have loads of staff just standing around doing nothing which made the atmosphere a little weird
The food here was not good at all. I ordered a kale salad with chicken and the kale was literally taken out the bag and put on the plate it was so bad I nearly choked to death literally. I would never go back there for food.
Amazing experience! Good time, good food and all my drinks were awesome. My friends and I had a wonderful time. We were out celebrating a birthday. We definitely will go back next time we visit the area. We arrived a few hours before closing time it was a steady crowd. As the night went on the crowd died down giving us a chance to play Jenga and Connect Four. We were able to explore the place both in and out. So many intricate and intriguing details in the place.I ordered fries and drinks. We all shared out food. I dot opening and closing tabs at the bar lol. The host that was taking drinks was a bit rude. I think she thought we were intoxicated and was tired. But we warmed her up and tipped well. Thankful for the experience
I enjoyed it. My food could have been better. I love their Mac and Cheese. The atmosphere and ambiance are cool. The game on the bar was lit. You can hear the fireworks
Nice place but if you go to the outside bar u get served in plastic cups which kind of ruins the atmosphere. Did not have food so can’t comment on that. Also parking is not good the lot in front of the restaurant the day I went was 35 dollars to park there so had to park a short distance away and walk.
Good place to get food for lunch and to food for a small gatherings. Great bartenders. Host are always friendly. Just wish they didnt change the menu for the late night crowd.
This place is chic and beautifully decorated…I attended the Henny & Waffles Brunch event at this venue and I had a great time. They served a good selection of food, it was spacious with 2 bars and outdoor seating. It was a VIBE!!! The drinks are overpriced and watered down but overall a great experience.
We were seated 3 different times in 3 different places and after 30 mins not even a drink order! The staff there are clearly clueless and were rude! Would not recommend!
Eat drink and relax the best description !! They have options to sit outside too . Very packed on weekends you can hardly sit outside and enjoy the lovely view of the garden just opposite to the restaurant . Good quality of food. Humble servers encountered . Overall a nice place to chill and talk out loud . Only one drawback is that with the packed house inside if you sit apart you can hardly hear what the other person says .( noisy )
Great food and atmosphere. The DJ was awesome!! It was a vibe. Will definitely be going back. Only downside was paying $15 to park.
Worst food I’ve ever had, appetizer quesadilla came cold. Burger had zero flavor and they forgot ingredients. 100% do not recommend
Cool atmosphere and decent service, but my shrimp alfredo was just ok. Definitely overpriced. There wasnt a lot of food or shrimp in the dish for $18. There was more broccoli than anything, but luckily I like broccoli. It wasnt as creamy as I wouldve like and it was missing something. Ive had way better alfredo. The food was decent, but I probably wouldnt return or Id try another dish.
First time there with my daughter and son in law. We arrived about 6:30. It was bustling. We waited about 20 minutes for table. There is pad on a stand located just outside of the entrance where enter your name and number. The hostess will text you when you inside or outside table is ready. Walk over to the hostess station and she will send you to your seating. There is a huge bar centered just behind the hostess station. There is also an outdoor bar. The wait staff is great! The decor is fun, funky, and eclectic. The menu was huge and the food was delicious. The vibe is dope with a nice mixture of people, young to seniors. The parking is located right next to the outdoor seating. Looking forward to going back for brunch.
This restaurant is super unique. The name says it all - ivy and ink is everywhere. Classy, yet has an electric type of atmosphere. The service was great - super nice staff. The spinach & artichoke dip is incredible - creamy & delicious. The sweet potato fries are unreal - tasted very fresh and seasoned very well. My friend and I both had salads w/ salmon and it was a plentiful portion. Great place to dine-in or sit back & relax to watch some football and drink some beer.
Our waiter was amazing, I hate I didnt get her name (black curly hair, great personality, she stated she previously bartended for a month) atmosphere was chill, food can out very fast, not expensive
The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for in a sports bar/restaurant. We had a group of four and we’re seated promptly on a Saturday around 7:30pm. There were several college football games on their myriad of TVs, which I liked! The drink specials were phenomenal. The fried mushrooms were delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which I thought was average tasting. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot!
DO NOT GO TO INK N IVY. The actual environment was ok music was ok but the service was BEYOND TERRIBLE. The bartender by the name RACHAEL took my boyfriends order completely WRONG and REFUSED TO REMAKE OR GIVE OUR MONEY BACK. Hes allergic to cheese and she made his food with it. The general manager on duty named SECOYS was also NO HELP claimed there was also nothing he could do. IVE REACHED OUT TO CORPORATE THROUGH EMAIL ITS BEEN A WEEK AND NOTHING. I’m not sure if this is a racial issue or they treat everyone like this. Please do not spend your hard earned money in an establishment that treats their customers so poorly. PICTURES BELOW.
Stopped thru on a Tuesday evening with the wife for $4 Drafts and $5 Margaritas and boooyyy idk who was making drinks on 5/30 but as they say on TikTok, DATS LIQUOR. She ordered the flight of margaritas and had to pace herself they were so friendly with the pours! I had the rotating seasonal draft beer and was pleasantly surprised. Nice clean establishment with a nice Latin vibe. Security looks competent and the staff were all polite.
Really cool place in uptown #charlotte !! Although this was a business meeting, ( #palatineparcels) it turned into a cool spot to share a drink and enjoy the beautifully lit up skyline of the city. The vibe is hip happening, with an outdoor patio to enjoy the crisp winter air.Right on the corner is a parking lot, which is super convenient and during the day you can walk off a meal at Romare Bearden park, located across the street.I would DEFINITELY recommend this spot for a drink. A girls night out, an after hours office party, or even a #firstdate
Went to this place last night and the bartender was incredibly RUDE. First of all, his drinks were TERRIBLE. I ordered the Poison Ivy at first and it tasted like watered down juice. Then I asked for a patron margarita because that’s my go-to drink and it was the worst I’ve ever had! I took two sips and didn’t drink the rest. Nonetheless, this is why I’m leaving a poor review….this bartender didn’t want to take my food order. I think he thought his disrespect was cute and it wasn’t. Instead it was INSULTING. It’s your job…to take orders. Not to be sassy and walk away from a customer who did nothing wrong. I didn’t say nor do anything that was rude, disrespectful, or could even be logically perceived as that. He came over to take me and friend’s orders. He asked if we were ready and I jokingly replied “I’ve been ready since yesterday”. Meaning……I WAS SO HUNGRY BECAUSE I DID NOT EAT ALL DAY AND I WAS EXCITED TO FINALLY EAT SOME DANG FOOD!!!!! It was around 10pm when I was about to finally order some food and I was starving. But he got sassy and rude. He turned to my friend and said and “I’ll take your order”, then he took my friend’s order, and then he walked away. If THIS is how Ink N Ivy train their bartenders and other service staff, they need to do better. This man was complete TRASH. My friend and I will never go back to this place!
Popped in for a late lunch on Friday. Location is cool, which is just about all this place has going for it. Got sat, no one came to see us for at least 15 minutes. Stared down the hostess who came over and asked if the waitress had come by yet. We said no, so she went and got her to come to our table. The waitress was polite but seemed like she couldnt wait to be done with us. Took our order, and someone else brought our appetizer. He set down our food and bolted. He didnt bring any plates or extra napkins or anything (messy shrimps that we had to peel and had no where to put the shells). He also brought out our entrees and thankfully we were able to get his attention as he bolted from our table again to request extra plates. We asked for our bill the next time we saw our waitress. If the food was phenomenal it would have been easier to overlook lackluster service; however, it was just alright... Nothing to write home about. Combine all that with the $20+ parking fee! Youre better off skipping this spot - plenty of other great places in Charlotte!
Place was fun. I was in town for my birthday went to ink and ivy and fell in love with the Brussels sprouts. They were fresh with sunflower seeds, feta cheese, and whit bbq sauce it was an amazing taste. I also ordered the salmon it was alright. The mac and chees I was not good, and looked diff from the pics I seen on yelp.Definitely try the sprouts you will not be disappointed.
First timer. They have VERY professional bartenders that clearly care about providing stellar customer service. They just arent very attentive and too busy socializing with other employees. Pretty dead for a happy hour Friday night. Decent enough well liquor brands. Appropriate wine prices. Skip the side of brussel sprouts. Beware.
This place is only open because of the location. Terrible security/door man. We were denied entry because of a doggie bag we had from dinner a few block away.
Bartender and I got into disagreement when I tried to deescalate and told him I was leaving the door man surrounded me and shoved me. As I’m being shoved to the ground the bartender hit me in the back of the Head 4-5 times and proceeded to choke me then through my phone into the street. If you think this ok behavior when you run a business you are wrong. I paid my tab. I tipped him well. They literally jumped me. Fire that clown before you hear from my attorney and provide me with the video.
I will start with the positives..Service was TOP Tier...Santi was awesome and so was the girl he was training..didnt get her name..Wings were ok..fries amazing...cute Lil after work spot...Negatives: drink was trash...I had what was supposed to be a strawberry margarita in a regular glass(at least make the drink look cute) Pasta was so spicy you couldnt actually taste the food..garlic bread was like biting into a salt sandwich..its a one and done for me..I wouldnt go back
Why on Saturday for some drinks they automatically took a $20 tip which I felt was wrong I did not ask them to take $20 they just did it and for that reason alone I will never go back there hope you guys enjoy my last $20
Very slow service for average food. Disappointing consider the nice social environment. Drinks were good.
Rose our server was amazing, she anticipated our drinks, made small talk, and helped us get our food to the level of our expectations. Will definitely be back for the great service. Also the honey mustard, fries, and hot tenders were amazing. They also came out lightning fast.
Went here to celebrate my fathers birthday the other night and was not impressed at all. The drinks we ordered tasted watered down and were served in cheap plastic cups. Our server wasnt attentive to our table at all, aside from the initial drink and food orders she never once checked in on us. I counted her walk past our table 12 times without asking about drinks or how anything was but she very clearly had time to check her phone in the kitchen doorway. I also noticed she didnt return to check up on her other tables in our section either. I would give the food a 1 except for the fact that the brussel sprouts and fried mushroom appetizers were actually very good. However the entrees were not. My dads fried shrimp were bland and rubbery, my uncles church street chicken was very dry, and my fish sandwich had the taste and texture like it had been left sitting in the kitchen far too long. So much so that I became ill shortly after leaving getting home. The place has a very nice location and a decent sounding menu so I was extremely disappointed with everything I experienced. My family and I will not return and I will tell anyone who asks for recommendations to actively avoid this place.
Paige was amazing!! I highly recommend visiting the bar to see this outstanding bartender!!! Great recommendations on everything!
I had the salmon with broccoli and rice. Both my sides were disgusting. I told our waitress that I wanted to swap out my sides for something else but I was told I wasnt allowed to? Never heard that before. After getting approval from the manager I swapped out to fries and Mac n cheese. That was just ok. Place is a little over priced as well. The inside of the place was nice though.
Omg. We were first seated near the bathroom in a booth and requested to move due to the foul smell from the bathroom area. Went to use the ladies bathroom only to find the floor flooded with water and fecal matter. And if that wasn’t enough I found a piece of ice in my drink with a frozen bug in it. The absolute Worst experience of my life! Very disappointed..
Excellent restaurant/bar with great service and delicious food at a reasonable price.
The servers are friendly, if you can get their attention. It was a slower Monday night when we were there. With two or three servers rotating through eating their staff meal on the far side of the bar, two or three others were chatting them up for most of our visit. This included a barback that was sitting on the equipment behind the bar, noshing on fries for a good 20 min. With the crews’ backs to the rest of the bar, two couples came and left without being served. A third, walked around the bar to finally get their attention. The food was reliable bar food. The beers were cold with good choices. There’s plenty of seating and a nice patio.
So we moved here six years ago and in those six years, we have eaten all over the place, but never Ink N Ivy. And I think my intuition just told me to avoid it. Anyway, today is a holiday, not many restaurants are open, so we gave it a try. Yuck. Our server was nice, but we never got drink refills, we got really no service at all. But the biggest issue was the food. It was gross. We got fish and chips. The fish was chewy and soggy, the fries looked like they had been made three hours earlier. We both ate about half of our meals and then left. I got my dog a plain burger no bun, (he needed something to eat), and it was worse than a fast food burger. Just not a good place to eat. Maybe the drinks are amazing, but nothing else is. And the $20 paid for parking was over the top. Would never go back.
This is the worst bar in Charlotte. It exists because it is large and is in a good location. If you have literally any choice go anywhere else.
I’ve always heard that Ink N Ivy was one of “THE SPOTS” to visit if you’re in Charlotte so I really had high expectations. My experience was horrible!!! The only decent thing that I can say is that we were seated promptly. The service was just okay. The drinks and food were disgusting. 🤮 The wings were basic, my salad had more onions than lettuce, and the pasta was overwhelmingly salty. The drinks….not even worth the energy to attempt to verbalize the dissatisfaction. I really wanted to love this place but I will never go back nor recommend anyone spending their time or money here.
Big, good energy, not too loud. Fun music and food was decent. Overall a good experience. Friend ate quesadilla, Mac & cheese & small Cesar salad. I had shrimp tacos on appetizer menu, blackened. Everything was decent/good, not amazing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.I would go back to try a cocktail because I liked the energy & decor.
Bella is amazing, had good knowledge of the area and recommended some other cool spots to check out after we finished eating.Food was great, cannot recommend the shrimp tacos enough! Especially on Tuesday, $3 tacos and $5 dollar margaritas is really hard to argue with.Atmosphere is rad. Good music, cool setting and overall really comfy. Will definitely be coming back soon.
This is a great place to watch the game. They have lots of TVs. Food was great and mimosa sales on Sundays. Cant beat it. Has an inside and an outside. I will be attending here again. The waitress was really nice and the food comes out really fast.
Server was awesome. Minimal wait for table. Chicken tenders dry and no seasoning.
We came in late at night and just ordered drinks. Upon our walk up, my husband joked with the staff & turned out the manger was there and was very nice and cordial. We went in and chatted it up @ the bar with the bartender. Everyone was nice and engaging. We will definitely return to eat! Thanks staff for the drinks & conversation!
Me and my friends ordered fries with our food and the waitress waited until it was 9:30 to tell us that the kitchen is close and that they couldn’t make our fries that we asked for before 9:30.
Big fan of Ink N Ivy. Been here a few times either before/after panthers games and its a massive place with plenty of places to lounge
The quality of this place is slowly deteriorating. It also does not help that I noticed their rating is less than a 90. The bar tenders of very plain and leave U under impressed. The pros of this place are that it has an awesome patio with copious amounts of seating. My visits to this place will be few and far between.
This is a great place to kick back with whoever, whenever. There is no dress code. Do we still need to tell you to wear shoes and a shirt? Anyhoo, good food, friendly staff. Cant go wrong here. Oh. Parking is in a deck nearby. Cost $15 in June of 2023. I didn’t ask if they validate. So, ask. I’ve been twice while visiting. Once after a Chris Brown concert (😛) and another time for brunch on a Sunday. I didn’t see many kids either time, but I don’t think it will be a problem. Enjoy.
Probably the worst brunch I’ve had in Charlotte. The staff were nice though.
Lied about showing the game. You can’t advertise something then say no because you decide it’s now inconvenient for yourself.
Waited 15 min at an empty bar with no service :( love the greenville location, wont return to Charlotte
Taylor is amazing!! She really took such great care of us. Me and my mother decided to take our cousin out for her 29th marriage anniversary… or what would have been. Her husband passed two months ago. This was her first time being out and actually enjoying herself. She is so glad she did.The food was great. But Taylor was so kind and patient with us. Allowed us to take our time and stay as long as we needed.Thank you for your hospitality Taylor. ♥️
The service was great! A fresh burger hit the spot, the plates were a little small but as far as the flavor. It was spot on, I had the server Mike he made sure that service was up to par.If you’re looking for lunch in the heart of the city. Ink N ivy is the place to go.
Great location to take advantage of the downtown atmosphere. Party of 7 went to to eat at this place on a Saturday night. You can tell this place struggles with staffing as there were plenty of open tables with no one sitting at them yet you have a 30-45 minute wait. Our server was super nice but you could hardly hear what she was saying. The food arrived in spurts and had to wait several times for our bar drinks to be brought to our table. Unfortunately, I dont think I would go back to this location.
Had blast here with co-workers, drinks were flowin, the catered food was great, and the indoor outdoor atmosphere was a vibe! For parking there is a lot right in front of the restaurant and a garage on the side as well. Both you have to pay for, I was in the garage, and that was $11.
Made reservations. Got to the restaurant. They said the reservation had magically disappeared. Put in my name for a wait. Waited 30 minutes. They then said my name had magically disappeared off the list. Finally sat down. They wouldn’t let our party put two tables together to seat 6 of us. So we sat separately. Food was anywhere from a 4 to a 6 out of 10. A lot of bull and a high price for something I could have gotten at Applebees.
Very NOT impressed with this place as a restaurant. Showed up with a party of 6, buy our guy accidentally listed it as party of 5 in the self-check-in tablet. Immediately asked the hostess to update it to 6. It was a bit busy so we expected some wait. After 20 minutes and parties after us being sat, we check with the hostess and were not even in the system.... friggin beautiful. Rather than change us from 5 to 6, she just deleted us from the list. Another 15 minute wait... THEN!! Despite there being several of other combined tables, to include a combined table making room for 6 but sat by 2, they then tell us they cant combine tables so they manage to accommodate us and sit us as 2 separate adjacent tables, and NOT let us slide them 3 feet closer together. Food overall was average, typical bar food. Burgers well done despite less than shoe leather requests. 2nd drink ordered took 15 minutes to be delivered. Surely sitting at the bar warming up the entire time...Wed been before late nite for the bar, and its fine as a bar for hopping thru. Nothing special to keep you around for more than a drink. But for dinner, never again. Theres 100 other places just inside the loop to visit.
Man, I used to like this place. We frequently brought clients here for business lunches and the service was great. Not anymore, thanks to manager Sequoia . We called ahead and asked when the patio was open - they told us 4pm. We showed up at 4:15 and told that the patio opens at 5 - not a big deal, but they accused us of lying…. “We never told you 4pm”. Then it got so much worse. There were 6 of us and the server was lovely, we were sitting there ordering apps and drinks the whole first hour. Our company President came to join us so we pulled up a chair on an otherwise empty patio. Within 30 minutes, Sequoia came out, hiding behind the server who told us we had to split up tables. We asked if we can push them together, he refused.Three members of our party got up and left, the server was very apologetic. About 30 minutes later, the executives from our agency showed up and took the extra 3 seats. They let everyone order food and drinks for about 20 minutes. Then the server comes out basically in tears telling us that she’s no longer allowed to serve our table. The food was brought out right in front of us, and she stopped the food runner, and told him to send it back to the kitchen.Needless to say, it was humiliating for our company and for the agency clients. Our bill was approaching $300 and they literally took our food from right in front of us. We asked to speak to Sequoia directly and he refused, telling the server that if she serves us anything else, he’d FIRE her. We’ve never been so disrespected out of nowhere, and I’ve also never felt worse for a server.
Expensive and poor service which is sad because end food was pretty tasty. We had two different servers who were confused about who was serving us. When I ordered a Sauvignon blanc she said let me see what we have. When she came back she just asked if the name of the vineyard was ok with me like Id studied the menu. I asked for a varietal of wine. I obviously didnt study the wine list and neither did she.
Food was delicious and our waiter was amazing and attentive. The hostess (specifically with blue hair) and manager however were less than accommodating when we asked to sit our tables next to each other. The restaurant wasnt packed and turned a small request into an issue it didnt need to be. May go back to give it another try, but wasnt impressed.
Food always real good, had $3 mimosas. last time i went we had a good server, this time the server & service were terrible..Had no personality, barely talked, would just stare at us & as they were closing, which we were mistaken & thought they would be open later than 10 but we found out once we got there they had closed at 10 that day which was fine we just weren’t aware so we just kept having conversation, server only came to check on us once after giving us our food and even when they started doin closing duties & realized they were closing she STILL didn’t come over to us to tell us or to check on us so we never even had a chance to even ask for the bill but she wanted to still have a attitude & just stand at the bar & watch us instead of coming over to us. We had to tell security to go get her and finally got our check.
Typical Charlotte city bar....Loud, noisy...service was subpar as only 2 servers were on duty at 1pm...ordered fish and chips. Crust was good but, the fish inside was greyish, mushy and oily....not firm, white and flaky as it should have been... beer was cold though....Would not recommend to friends.
All the wraps are great. Food is good. Service not so good. Made my order wrong, threw it on the table and didnt believe it was their fault.. Waiter confirmed she entered it wrong. Meal was not made over.
The only good thing in that place The bartender. They have a security guy that is extremely rude. He is ready to hit you and the manager is ok with that. Thet host told me the security crossed the line and after speaking with the manager she was quite, of course the manager intimidate her. So it seems is a gang working in there. There are plenty of way better places to go close by. Dont stop there unless you want to be treated like s... ohh. And I asked the manager for the video tape showing what happened and he refused.
The food here was cold. Which is expected as it arrived at the table 10 minutes after ordering.
Excellent restaurant! The wait staff were very attentive and super friendly. Food was fresh and the mimosas were wonderful. Prices were fair and I hope to return to this location again soon!
When there yesterday 10/14/23 everything look. Great but the service was horrible , we ware 10 people I ask if we can get 2 tables they say no go to back and ask at the bar people for service I did that no one came to us . Then we when inside again and they give usa a table the waitress say I can’t serve you this table is small for all of all I had to go ask my manager if I can serve you .we ware like really so we choose to leave . The worst service ever we 20 min waiting never again I will come back here then she comes out side after we left to smoke .
Me and my friends went to Ink and Ivy for brunch and had a blast. The music was good and the food was delicious. If you are ever in the clt area you should definitely try it.
Went on a Sunday when a concert was in town. Atmosphere was pretty loud, it did take awhile to get seated and get waited on. Got the blackened chicken. It was a little spicy but very good! Also a good portion of food for the $. I would recommend- just be nice if it wasnt quite so loud😊
Update: returned recently and ordered the shrimp and grits during brunch. The best shrimp and grits Ive ever had!!! So I added an additional star to my rating.Original review from last year:One word: inconsistent. There is so much to like about this place - including location, its interior decor and Saturday/Sunday cheap mimosas. I want to give it 5 stars but the food, drink and service is hit or miss. Sometimes great. Sometimes not. Its worth checking out but give the servers a chance to recommend items and be patient. If its busy, everything takes a loonggggg time. So keep those expectations low. Remember: slow food from the kitchen is NOT the servers fault so dont tip on that alone. Tip on the attentiveness and attitude of the person taking and bringing your orders to the table.
Good service, decent food, but it took too long to receive our order despite it being a slow day(the restaurant was only about 1/3 capacity). It took almost 30 minutes to receive our order.
Good food. Highly recommend the church street chicken.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Manager Sequoia was incredibly rude. We had a table that would easily suit 8 people (pulled up 2 chairs) and he came out and said we had to move because we couldn’t sit with this many people even though the entire patio was empty. And to separate into 2 tables. Some of our party left, but new members joined and he came out again yelling making us split. Eventually it led to him forcing us to close out - our food was being delivered to the table and he kicked us out. The server was amazing and actually had our side- but it stinks that this is the service we received from the manager.
This recommendation was very well worth it, the vibes are amazing, the food was amazing and the overall experience was great. I would like to thank our server Egypt for the amazing service she provided & she just made the experience well worth it. Thank you for an amazing time we will be back soon !!!
Decided to find a nice roof patio experience while visiting Charlotte, atmosphere was great up until our bartender expressed her unwelcoming attitude. Being in the industry for 15+yrs I gave her the benifit of doubt, I told our party (10) she might be by herself and overwhelmed with her other table and to be patient.. didn’t last long for her to start slamming the doors rolling her eyes and sending food to our table (that we never ordered) 10 min after everyone received their individual orders even after we all one by one said we didn’t order anything else. With all that going on I decided to just cut my loss and pay for my individual tab & she blatantly refused and walked away from me standing at the bar & straight to one of our other guest. Of course I got upset & let her know where it all went left and to take some accountability considering we all individually had to go to the bar and place our order, instead she got loud and aggressive. Respects to the manager on the floor, he took the time to address the situation and modified the tab.
This place was pretty great. Food was amazing but the staff is what made me come back. We were there two nights this week. I had Blue the first night and she was super down to earth and made us feel so welcome. We had dinner and a few drinks and packed it up.The next night we went to a vendor happy hour at Caroline’s oyster bar and it was a hot mess. The drinks were expensive and the staff was rude. So we packed up and walked over to ink and ivy again hoping to find Blue, but she wasn’t working and we ended up getting Jo. She was amazing. She was on top of it and had a lot jd personality. The manager was pretty dreadful. I kept calling more people to show up and be wouldn’t let us pull tables together and said he’s rather we leave if it was that important and suggested Valhalla might be more accommodating of a group our size. If it wasn’t for Jo we would have left.
Absolutely love this place. If you like a downtown bar, rustic feel this place is for you. The service was great and our waitress was friendly and professional but not intrusive. I had the Charleston Chicken plate with white BBQ sauce and their amazing Brussel sprouts and a lovely mixed drink. The 4 stars is because the chicken was a bit dry. The flavor was still great and overall the plate was good and the drink was delish...that was the only thing that could be improved. Definitely will return. Just be careful on filet chicken pieces, they are easy to overcook
Went on a Saturday night and thought we would give another shot after the game Sunday.Servers and bartenders could care less and they made us feel like they were doing us a favour. Not a great experience
I always heard about this place I would say I know why it was so busy it was my bday weekend and graduation time .The part i didn’t like they have dogs which I feel when I am eating regardless on a leash animals shouldnt near me when I eating .I don’t want any hair or barking incidents to occur .I had no idea that they accept animals there I understand if they are a service animal.Check on it they didn’t say animals are welcome what would the Health inspector say?? I tell you this against food code to have animals near food unacceptable.I love animal but feel when I eat they shouldn’t be near me as I inenjoying myself
On yesterday, we went for brunch, and drinks, about 15 minutes after paying (still drinking), we were randomly asked to leave. The manager came up and said that someone at my table had a vape in the restroom and they was sure it was her. She doesn’t smoke, no one could tell me how they were sure it was her. I called later and the manager that I spoke to on the phone story was different from the ones that said they caught her. Everyone’s story was difffeent, at the end of the call they said several customer’s complained but they NEVER said anything about a complaint while we were there. It felt like they wanted an excuse to get rid of a table that had already paid. On the phone the manager said “I’m glad you already ate and paid before we asked you to leave because this could’ve been blown up more.” Me, my family, or friends will never support this establishment again, it was one of our favorite places when in town.
Overall my party enjoyed themselves. Our service was great, even w the crowd. The only take away was the fish an chips. I understand the concept of fish and chips. However, I rather not eat completely fried grease! Texture and taste of the fish were completely off. Outside of that please stop by and enjoy yourselves. I will be in attendance again in the future truly.
Completely disappointed! This place needs to do better with food quality and customer service. I requested hot and fresh fries twice, and the same fries came out both times. The bartender walked up to me and smiled and said the fries were fresh! I guess this explains why the Charlotte Ink N Ivy has such a low rating! Never again…….
The service are horrible and did want to service us our food, we had to the bat to get food order.
Great server, new to town. Loud for our liking but kinda fun if you’re in the mood for a happy hour party. Food was fine. We had a couple of salads.
Great atmosphere, music, food, and drinks. We sat outside, and I was able to bring my two month old daughter, so definitely family friendly during DURING THE DAY.. at night, it turns more into a night function and it’s really nice .
First time in Charlotte and decided to try this for dinner. Drinks were good, if your just getting drinks go for it!! Food was awful. I had a burger.... it was so dry it was like ash and the fries were cold. another in my party had the salmon it was decent but the broccoli was so hard when she cut it it flew off the plate. The rice had no flavor. The service was mediocre at best! Sadly lacking...
The restaurant/bar looks nice and it seems like a great atmosphere, however, our group was seated and waited 20 mins with no service. Counted no less than 7 wait staff, even asked a passing staff member for help to no avail. I understand everyone is short staffed, but just disappointing..especially for a crew of folks that was visiting from out of town. Finally, no acknowledgement from staff or hostess when we left.
Celebrated my wedding anniversary month here. The place is beautiful. The waitress was really nice and accommodating. I was not happy with the dinner menu selection because it lacked. The drinks were okay too. Ill probably only go back for brunch.
DO NOT EAT HERE!I was really excited to have date night here. This place needs a food inspection ASAP. They are serving rotten/molded food. We sent our plates back to the kitchen and only paid for our drinks and left. How disgusting. If you’ve ever gotten sick after eating from this place, spoiled food is the reason.
The servers were super inattentive and preferred flirting with girls at the other table instead of 1. cleaning our table 2. letting us order 3. bringing ketchup(?!) 4. and letting us pay. there was no cutlery, no salt and pepper plus we never got the waters we ordered. 4. I also got the wrong dish (the burger, not sandwich). The food was good tho 2/5 (it was the only one that was open past 9pm)
Don’t come when they’re busy. Not very organized when it comes to seating guests. Waited an hour and another one waiting for our food
The building looked awesome with the exception of the trash around the front door. Food wasnt bad but wasnt great either. I had the fish and chips and wife had the blackened chicken pasta. Drink specials were good but lacked a whole lot of options, wife wanted something strawberry and we were told whenever they do get something strawberry in they cant keep it in stock so they just dont bother with it anymore. I appreciate the honesty but dont understand the thought process behind it. Its a good place to grab a snack and some beers and watch a game or two but wouldnt make plans for dinner there.
Service was super fast and very friendly! Our waitress Bella was amazing! Very attentive and she had great recommendations. The food was great and not super expensive
Surprisingly poor. I had higher expectations based on comments from others. Service was slow and we rarely saw our server. Fries came out raw, sweet and spicy shrimp was either sweet or very spicy, never sweet & spicy. Overall they need some work on staff and food prep and delivery.
Beautiful restaurant but the service sucks. My husband I came here around 4 pm for our anniversary we were promptly seated, there was about 8 guest already seated. I counted at least 6-8 employees working. My issue is we sat for 15-20 minutes no one came to ask for order or even ask what we wanted to drink. I was disturbed by the two waitresses grabbing customers drinks from the bar grabbed the fruit for the drink with their hands no gloves nothing. Disgusting! Dont think we will be returning!
My only experience with Ink N Ivy, prior to this visit, was their participation in a few local contests (grilled cheese festival and a few others). I always enjoyed their food but never went to the restaurant. Being on the list for a local brew crawl I was finally able to visit the restaurant.I say finally simple because Ink N Ivy is a little off the main section of Uptown and can easily be forgotten, especially when there are no games (they are located a stones throw from the Panthers Stadium and BB&T Ballpark).Wow! We were really impressed with this place. The service was great, quick and professional. The venue is amazing with an outdoor patio filled with tvs as well as a nicely decorated and designed interior. There was a super selection of local brews and the food was perfection. A ton of options, many staple items but a few original selections too. I am a huge fan and will definitely be back.Edit: Visited a second time and wasnt as impressed. The food was still good, not great but good, then decor and outdoor patio is still just as awesome, service seemed to be a little sub par. We had issues from multiple servers coming by to take orders at different times to not getting silverware. It wasnt horrible but not the five stars I originally gave.
Great location! Food was decent nothing overwhelming delicious. The music was wicked loud, be prepared to not speak to the people in your party, shout at them or try your best at lip reading. A one and done restaurant for us
I usually don’t leave reviews but from my experience Saturday this is the 2nd and last time I’ll spend my money here the customer service sucked from the bar tenders inside and outside!!! And the person that brought out the food 😡 was even more rude for all the money we spent….. which blew me $172 for 8 shots of casamigos! Some things money can’t buy which was the occasion we was celebrating and we didn’t let the staff and their attitudes ruin our night!!!
Idk what is going on, but the last 3 times we have been here the service has been awful. The food and drinks are wonderful, but we find ourselves waiting for your waiter for very long periods of time. And if we ask anyone else for something (e.g., a water or silverware), they say they will let our waiter know. Just disappointed as this is a great place.
I give this place a 5 star overall because of environment and service were great...I ordered the whitefish but was unhappy with the plain fish taste(no seasoning) also it came with regular tarter sauce for almost $20. When you serve fish and chips with regular tarter sauce then charge a regular price!!
I don’t know why anyone would recommend this place. I order wings that had no flavor. The quesadillas tasted like plastic. These were just appetizers so I can only imagine what the rest of the food taste like. I should have known because when I got there there were only 3 tables that had people at them. The restaurant was practically empty. Will never go back there again.
Pretty nice. Floors were wet and slick from people spilling drinks and no one working there cleaned it up. Overall a decent place. I didnt drink anything while there. The Location is good but busy and the parking desk across the street was $10 after 5pm on a Saturday.
Service was good. Ordered black eye pea burger which was very tasty! The side of broccoli was, however, NOT GOOD! (And I love broccoli.) Others at the table enjoyed their food. One person said their tuna wrap was really good and 2 others said the chicken wrap was good. Id give it another go next time we attend an uptown event. Kind of noisy and difficult to have a conversation at a large table. The younger folks seemed to enjoy it though.
