The food was ok. I didnt think it was going to be a good as it was. The Atmosphere was pretty good. Parking was hard during football game season. But a nice little hangout spot. They need to update their times of operations on the website and b phone.

The food is bomb!!!!! Whenever I go there, I always get their bang bang shrimp and chicken wings with fries. The last set of wings was way too salty, but I just had see a napkin to wipe off some of the seasoning (lemon pepper) and I was fine. The bartender is always nice and friendly and I always get blue Hawaiians. Whenever people see what I’m drinking, they order one as well lol. The atmosphere is always pleasant.

I really enjoyed myself at this spot. I went for my birthday 2 nights in a row. But I didnt know it costs $20 to get in on Saturdays 🥺 but on Fridays its $10. Havent tried the food yet but the drinks are ok. Theres pool tables in the next room for $9 hr which is cool also. DJ is great!

The atmosphere in Press Box is really cool, good music, affordable drinks, tons of televisions to watch games or matches. The food is average but overall a good place to hang out, play pool, have a few drinks, listen to good music, and watch the game.

This is a nice bar/lounge. A good crowd. I had the most fun when DJ B-Lord was there. However the DJ they have on the regular, is not consistent with the vibes. It feels like he is playing music from his own playlist.

So I went with some friends on a light night, Tuesday. No crowd no problems. We played pool and had some food and drinks. They also serve hookah for those interested. Now Ive been here before but not since I started writing reviews. Definitely would recommend this place and honestly it wasnt bad on some of those more busy nights. We went here last night at the last minute. $10 cover charge and a lot of old heads was there. This elderly lady was there dancing and she fell on us while she went under the table. The crab cakes I ordered didn’t look appetizing. It look like 3 small mini pancakes they was not thick at all. I ordered the shrimp and it was better. But over all the atmosphere was a vibe.the waitress we had was good and I will definitely request her again if I come back!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm to play pool with my son. Apparently you have to be 21 or over just to get in the door now. Not a good place to spend a little time with your teenage son on the tables.My initial review was 5 star because we visited here before and had a good time.

This place has had some upgrades, and it works! Pulling in a new type of crowd that enjoys premium spirits and a nicely furnished pool area. The club side has an open dance floor to enjoy the music. With bartenders that are knowledgeable and nice. I talked to the owner, who makes himself available to patrons. Nice guy looking to assist in all who come in having a good experience. The food is good. Bar style food is nothing deep, but flavor matters and flavor is in the building! Enjoy. Laugh. And relax.

For my first time hanging out in Charlotte this was a nice place to be. They had a cut and dry menu they gave you what they said they was going to give you the service was on point end of story story I would definitely go there again. They had an outside area where you can smoke cigars. The only thing I didnt like was I went there for an event and paid $30 to get in. The cover charge was a little extreme. 10 or 15 yes but 30 now

Expressed concerns about cleanliness of ladies restroom. This was never handled when several staff was on hand to address this issue. There were only two people in my party and gratuity was added to my tab. Management staff clearly doesnt understand the importance of sanitation. My service ended up being horrible and I was forced to tip.

Okay atmosphere....Music was good but the food was nothing to write home about. I ordered the salmon and it was overcook and dry.....crab bits ....Please! Little hard balls with alot of breading but no crab meat...would come again but not for the food

I would have a positive review if I had a different bartender the shorter heavy set white lady will under pour your drinks and overcharge them. I will say every single other bartender is great at least in my experience that I’ve been served by but this one is terrible, I would just avoid her if she’s working. I waited to post this until it happened multiple times and to other people in the bar as well.

I love the atmosphere you can dance, play pool or order food and a drink. A tad overpriced I would say, I enjoyed the chicken wings and French fries. If you’re looking for something laid-back and you want to enjoy yourself this is a place to go.

DJ Skillz The Mashput King is always the best. He keeps the people on the dance floor.

Attended a concert featuring J. Holiday. Wait staff was courteous. Food and drinks were good. Im glad they had tables lining the dance floor so we didnt have to stand during the concert.

Its a nice place to shoot pool and party on a Saturday night. They played 90s r&b when I was there. Mature crowd.

The atmosphere was actually nice and the food was really good but the customer service was not good at all. When we 1st walked in after going through security there wasnt anyone to greet us. We stood around for a few minutes looking around for someone. The server was not proactive. I sat with an empty cup for over 5 minutes and I still had to stop her to ask for a refill. Then as we were leaving I was taking my sweet tea and the security came out the door to tell me I couldnt take it. Okay, I understand but his response to Mr when I told him it was only tea was rude. He could have worded it better and I would have completely understood bc I know they dont know whats in everyones cup. I would have loved to go back there when I was in town again but im big on customer service and this place does not have it. Hopefully someone will read this review and speak with the staff.

The cover was $20 which is cool but the bartender was not good with the weak drinks charging you 1/2 shots at the price of a full shot. She said it was the tip. Also saw her not serve two ladies even after I got her attention she ignored them . They walked off not sure why the bartender kept over looking them.It wasnt packed at the time even with Pastor Troy it was dead 😂 #GoPanthers

My 1st time last night at this establishment I really enjoyed myself! I was invited many times, and I never made it wish I did the staff is welcoming the good energy, and vibes excellent. The chicken nachos was fire they used all the right ingredients. 💣The Jack Daniels BBQ wings let you know youre eat Jack Daniels BBQ. 🔥(Fired hard of course). The 🦐shrimp po boy made you fill like you had money ,nice size and plump. The amaretto sour yummy and you know I have to get that good Makers Mark NEAT... Service was awesome bartender was every attentive. Love her vibe. Well definitely go back

About Friday Night!!!! Yay!!In short... an excellent adult experience. Go out and have a great time!The long... it was my Husband’s birthday and I reserved a VIP space for him. I worked with Vinny who was absolutely wonderful!He was so nice and greeted us when he introduced himself. He checked on us all night. He was very respectful and made me feel good about being there.This was my first time going to the Press Box. I would definitely recommend trying it out. The drinks were great and the food was great and the music was great!!!The environment felt safe. The security did check us at the door, but he was very respectful about it. Everyone in my party enjoyed themselves.

Only go to play pool haven’t been on the other side. Good music but not the same as it used to be. Drinks were not worth what we paid. Too many places we can go to play pool and have a good drink for third of the price after all the extra charges

I’ve only been twice, but I enjoyed myself each time. It’s a little bit of everything, so it’s something for everyone. The food was good just was upset the 2nd time I went they were out of boom boom sauce for my shrimp, but the wings and drinks were great. They may want to do something about the fruit fly/nat problem. Was kind of irritating that I had to swipe a few times near the bar by pool tables. The music and atmosphere was great. Grown and sexy, but having fans at the front of the dance floor could be included.

This was a great place to enjoy my Birthday with my sister and friends. It was cool yet the drinks were so good I couldnt finish it. The bathroom attendant is a great lady and they need to treat her better than they do. Other then that my time there was fun and Ill go back soon.

Service extremely slow and disorganized. A semi packed club with one register working. DJ as no sense of the crowd. Everything sounds pre- recorded. Nothing meshed together at all. Very disappointed!!!!

The band was great and the drinks were responsible. I think that they should reconsider their seating. There were lots of reserved seating which was not being occupied. The price that they were charging for table and/or booths was highway robbery for that establishment. Its a nice place to hang out but its not the upscale type of establishment that you would drop $450 for table. At any rate, I would go back I guess that I would have to get there extremely early in order to get a seat.

It was a pretty cool place went with my wife and two of her cool work associates. Price and decor looked good. Hole in the wall ish about with a lot of space.A portion of the place is pool which you have to rent out but the prices are reasonable. Also the age group is diverse so you got your old heads and young people coming out at midnight too. Would go back again.

Then they only take cash so u gota use there atm which is gonna cost u more money. PB has improved, but they need more PLEASANT and PROFESSIONAL Barstaff. One of them was extremely nice in the main bar area (she is a young Caucasian woman with blonde hair) and I tipped her well. Its DALLAS COWBOYS season (NFL Football), so of course the fans were out representing our team. Theres plenty of seating and they have pool tables.

Love is...right on cue! My man and I love coming to The Press Box to play pool together. Its very relaxing and the music is just right. Everyone who works there are very friendly. They have a smoking area outside. The food is very tasty and the bartenders know how to make drinks. I love the older crowd. Just a FYI to play pool they require to hold a ID and credit card. From my experience its always an older crowd, the crowd is very respectful, no issues and no fights. A very calm and fun environment.

The new renovations n improvements are spot on. The cigars n hookahs give it an extra grown up vibe. My wife n friends will return. Thank u Majestic Smokes for a great evening!

I had such a great experience here with GIGi as our waiter for Sunday Dallas Cowboys Football! Gigi was prompt, efficient, and very present as she waited on our party! She knows her craft and gave 100% customer service.. the entire time! Thank you GIGI for your great work!! Will be back and hope to sit in your zone again!

They should change the name from The Press Box Bar & Grill to The Press Box Club. This place has more of a club atmosphere than a bar and grill atmosphere. When a waitress told us it would cost $50.00 to sit at a VIP table, I almost fell out. The rest of the tables looked like folding tables and chairs.I wish the owners luck. It looks like trouble could happen at any time.

Press box was a great place to visit. The only thing that I didnt like is that the waitress there seem like they would take tips from you without even asking. Other than that the DJ was excellent he played music from old School to new school which made everyone happy in the place. The people were friendly and I had a great time there. Also keep in mind that you do have to have membership there. However it only cost a dollar to join. Once you do you dont have to get membership again.

Went to hang out with friends to shoot some pool. They have a lot of tables. Loved the atmosphere. Drink specials are great. Food was okay. Had the chicken wings. (I should have asked for them to be Friday extra crispy). Had a great time! Great location.

Love this place. Friday nights are the bomb. They need more seating and stop making everything VIP. 1 week some seats are regular seating, then you go back next week and the same seats are VIP. But the waitresses and bartenders are very good.

Im only rating the food. The bar itself is cool. My wings were very overcooked and dried out. I couldnt eat them. My friends were the same. The bartender was also not very welcoming or helpful or even friendly. Maybe she was having a bad night, but it friendlier and more welcoming barstaff helps the bar experience....

It was fine but they moved all the chairs at the bar so we couldnt sit down. Then when we sat at a table the Waiter came over and told us that if we didnt buy drinks from her we had to move and give the table to someone else. We had been buying drinks all nite. So my family and I will never go back there. The wings are great. But, the rest was crazy.

Drove about 45 min from Fort Mill for the worse bar experience in years!! The bouncer at the door charges you $2 for a mask to enter. However, it is not required to wear once you enter. He followed me long with my group to the bar to insure we payed the $8 for the four mask. I asked the bartender why she wasnt wearing one and she stated it isnt required. I ordered two drinks from her + a $12 gratuity + the $8 for the mask which totaled to $44 before a tip. SCAM!!!! We then proceeded to a table to order food. Our waitress was too sociable and not too concerned about what we ordered. Food and drinks were taking too long. We had to interrupt several different waiters to fulfil our orders for drinks. After about three rounds we began walking to the bar ourselves which was much much quicker. Last but not least, the restroom and restroom area is DISCUSTING!!!!!!!! They have ROACHES!!!! Made me sick to my stomach that I ate there and spent over $200 at this SCAMMING and FILTHY establishment. I will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sharing a pic of the roach in the restroom area. Where there is one, there are many!!!!

I was just there on November 5, 2016. I honestly had a horrible experience. Immediately from the door I could tell the vibe wasnt there. I asked the bartender was there a chance in management and she told me yes. I had a birthday party back in April and my experience was amazing . On November 5 it was a complete opposite experience. Nobody was friendly. It took forever to get drinks from the bar and it was hardly anybody there. The food was disgusting. I dont think I will be returning.

Service was slow. Food was luke warm at best. I got my salad with my meal. It was open seating when I was there and where I sat with my wife I was told that this area was closed. Ten minutes later another group came in and sat in the same area. I guess I was the wrong color. Never experienced this and hopefully will not have to again in the future. I enjoy playing pool, the pool hall area looked really nice but after the treatment I received I chose not to play. I will not be returning.

Had an awesome time with the staff. Love the environment. The egg roll special was divine. The executive chef came out to share her cooking experience. Enjoyed a great time over food and drinks

Flyer clearly stated Saturday 1.22 EVERYONE free before 11pm. Got there way before 11pm and they charged $10 CASH ONLY. Spoke with who I assume was the owner and he said that the flyer was for Friday night not Saturday and that all the many flyers posted on Facebook and Instagram weren’t “supposed” to be posted. Don’t believe that for one second. Do better. If you just wanted to pocket the money just say that.

The gentleman that ID me to come in was very welcoming. It took awhile to get a drink, very slow night. I ordered a glass of wine and had to ask for a proper glass, which they didnt have. This is my first time in this establishment. My hostess is very polite.

Music is always good, food and drinks are decent. Not the most fanciest spot but always a great time. The dance floor stays packed. Good vibes. One negative- the female bartender by the entrance is rude; tends to ignore female patrons a bit. Its ok the bartenders in the back make up for her behavior.

One waitress for the whole place. She is super friendly and that’s the only reason you’re getting two stars. My burger is raw fries are cold and two of us have food and two do not. Poor restaurant management.

Great time, went on a Saturday night, slightly older group of people. Looked like folks in their late 30s/40s. Drinks are good price, music was great. There was a cover charge of $10.

This is one of my favorite places to go out. I love the atmosphere here. The drinks are good not watered down a big plus. I LOVE the outdoor set up! The two sides one with pool table two bars a stage, dance floor and the wings are slamming 👍👍👍. The DJ gets a little boring though. Playing repeats. Which is suprising to me because hes supposedly from Brooklyn. I Like variety its important to have good music to have a good time. Nothing wrong with throwbacks, but mix it up. We got a VIP booth. Bottles and four platters of wing and beer also mixed drinks all night long. Maybe spent about 600.00 to 800.00 between the six of us. It was my girlfriends BD!

Lots of pool tables, 2 bars but I would suggest going to the smaller bar in the corner that bartender seems to be a lot happier about her job, (young, petite, black lady). Security is tight so uou should be pretty safe. Nice little lounge area outside for smokers. Would definitely revisit and recommend

1st mistake: I arrived at 10:38...U must get there when they open to get a good parking spot and to have a better shot at getting in within a decent amount of time!2nd mistake: waiting in line.... line was moving super slow because they hold the line so that people will want to pay extra to bypass the line. It also takes the cashier about 3-5 minutes per person to process payment.At 11:01 I finally made it to the front of the line when a bouncer/staff walks to the front with about 30-40 people. Because of a membership, they formed a new line?I haven’t been to this club for a minute due to the liquor license issue, so for me this “membership skip line” is new.3rd strike: 11:18, still in line...that’s it for me!!! I’m not a celebrity or extravagant spender, but I’m still a paying customer and I did my time in line to gain access. It’s a really nice time when things flow nicely, but getting in to enjoy it is the challenge. With that amount of “members”, they should alternate between both lines, letting in a few people from each line at a time.

First visit today. Ordered the wings and shrimp, tasted ok. Customer service was not good. When I asked where I should sit, the person at the bar looked around the restaurant puzzled as if I was already supposed to know. Definitely more of a bar/club than a restaurant. Will not be returning.

The liquor is watered down unless you buy a bottle.The food is good and the DJ IS GOOD BUT THAT DEPENDS ON WHO IT IS. OVER ALL I ENJOY THE PLACE.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was there with some friends a few weeks ago. This place used to be nice, now, the only term that fits is GHETTO. I was told by quite a few regulars that the manager has no skills, and got her job by doing oral favors for the owner - in the back seat of his car. The security team probably cant count to 5 without using each others fingers, and the bartenders are known to regularly cheat customers - double check your bill! 3 out of the 5 people in our group were served drinks in dirty glasses! Disgusting. Then when we asked for clean glasses, the waitress got an attitude. She actually said the glasses were fine and that they were just smudged. Seriously??Most sports bars usually try to hire attractive bartenders or waitresses. These hardcore chicks look like they have serious hygiene issues, running around the bar with those dirty, stretched out leggings - and attitudes. Lol.This place is a dump! Never again will they get one dime from me....

Had a really great time. They had karaoke, a great Michael Jackson impersonator, and then we got treated to s great show by Carmyn Malone, who sang and danced, and then gave a great stand up routine that made me laugh till I cried. We had the trio appetizer, and the drinks were great plus Absolute was $5 a shot. All on all, I give it 6 out of 5.

Always a great crowd however last night they had a stage performance with a Michael Jackson impersonator. I didnt care for this show at all. It took away from the lively atmosphere and good music.

Good music from the DJ’s but the crowd literally stands and watches eachother and never dance, you have to pay $150 to sit on the couches and the parking is terrible!

We had a team meeting, had some drinks, ate some good food and then shot pool and had a great time.

Not a restaurant! It is a Bar! Not their fault. I will take complete responsibility for my choice. The food was ok, not great, not bad. Wife had a burger and fries. She liked them. My Ceasars salad with grilled chicken was ok. Just small in portion size for $12.00. All of the help was very nice. Just not what we were expecting.

I work in customer service and never put my hands on a customer. Security put there hands on me because he was mad that a female customer had an opinion and because I made a statement he physically assaulted me. I will never be visiting this place again. When I can’t feel comfortable because of security that a problem. Hopefully they change security. I’ve never been assaulted by staff in an establishment in my life.. worst experience ever. Hopefully they learn that security is suppose to protect and not assault paying customers

I went on a Wednesday night for karaoke and enjoyed myself. The only downside was the servers. The servers seem to be very unorganized. Hopefully it will get better. The show was entertaining. I will come out again.

Could be a great place but poorly managed. Bouncers are cutting side deals for tables which causes confusion and management does nothing to accommodate when it all falls apart. Mentality is they already have your money so they dont care. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Manager said she was coming back to talk to me and never returned. Poor customer service. I should have known when they were selling tables at a sports bar!

The food is hit or miss. The tables are good but not all of them, seems like theyll hire anyone, there is only 2 good bartenders everyone is sucks. Cool people there though. In time itll be better Im sure.

Fun place with several $9 pool tables, 2 bars, hookah only allowed outside (this area should be cleaned more often!), a nice dance floor, and interesting/nice looking people.They close at 11pm, not 2am as advertised.

Worst mistake Ive made in Charlotte... Overpriced, forced gratuity, horrible service, unfriendly... Oh, they basically stole from me by putting someone else bill on my credit card! 3 weeks of trying to contact the management, now I have to go dispute it with my bank. If you are willing to even visit this place. Dont, I repeat, dont give them you credit card! Although, I dont know why anyone would go there after the experience I had!

This place was terrible and what makes it worse is they do not have a website to make complaints to. After waiting for an hour for 6 chicken wings and mashed potatoes in an establishment that was not busy I received my 6 wings, no mashed potatoes, and my chicken was cold. After I was told that the manager was going to come, the manager never came to my table instead the waitress spoke to the cook about making me more wings due to them being cold. I said fine. Then when it came time for my check I asked if it could be split since I was with 2 other people. The check was missing items that were on our table and the waitress then had to ask us what we had and had to add our drink. To me this establishment showed very poor business skill set and I would never recommend it to anyone for any occasion or event.

The Press Box has a really laid-back atmosphere with great vibes. There is a billiards area, two bars, a dj and a dance floor. I always enjoy myself here.

This place has potential. Atmosphere is great for a sports bar/lounge. Tvs, plenty of comfortable seating. Awesome billiards room next to the bar. However, service was slow and music was terrible. Food menu was average at best.

I paid a dollar to become a member, before they told me it was $15 to get in because someone (I didnt know) was having a birthday party, service was slow, bartenders were more concerned with their cell phones than serving drinks, at the time I was there it wasnt that busy that I had to wait, shots were over priced, under poured and came with an automatic 12% gratuity each....... ummmmm no. If I could give no stars I would. I was on the fence about going in the first place because my first experience a year ago was bad. No more worries going forward....... Pass this place over.

If you haven’t been here you are missing out, this the best grown and sexy spot in the city. Everyday is a party, if you don’t like that te chef Johnny makes some of the best dishes. The wings are to die for. Bartender jazz has been there for as long as I can remember, and is still the best. Her conversational skill is unmatched. They also have pool table and weekly tournaments for all skill groups and teams as well.

I went on a Saturday and the club is nice, it was a mixed crowd which was cool and the drinks were affordable. I did not like the DJ he was all over the place and he couldnt hold the crowd. Next time Ill try a Friday night!

Went here last night with about 15 people, paid almost 500 with VIP, food, tax and gratuity (which they did not deserve) etc. Service was horrible glasses empty had to chase down waitresses. Was told the music and vibe would change around 11 then was told 12 never changed. It was not worth it. I left an hour in a half early and left a whole bottle. Will never go back or recommend to anyone

Terrible service! HARRASSED at the door by bouncers for 45 minutes before being able to enter. Soon After paying for a $400 VIP section to later find out we were to be charged an additional $120 to ENTER the club that wasn’t mentioned once during prior business arrangement’s, which took another 15 minutes to dispute before being let into the $400 section we paid for. Long story short we only had less than an hour to TRY TO ENJOY ourselves after being harassed for so long by the business owner and security team. Pretty much ruined one of the the biggest night’s of the GRADUATE’S life after such a terrible time at this so called “place of business”. Your place is TRASH Chief!

I’ve been going to PressBox every Wednesday night for about a Year now. There’s karaoke every Wednesday night, come out and Have an amazing time. If you have a talent this is a Great way to promote yourself. The Staff is always friendly and professional.

Just attended on Friday night, July 7th. Was a little leary after reading some of the reviews. But I must admit Friday night with Old School V105.3 broadcasting live was fun and orderly. The waitress was very attentive, food was hot & good once. Yes, gratuity is added to the food order. Alcohol & non alcoholic drinks were nonexpensive. Security was on point with no drama. We had a group of 6 & we all agree it was nice. We will return on a Friday night, I cant speak about other days never attended. Cant give 5 stars....

My cousin and I was very, very disappointed! We brought 2 $30 tickets to celebrate the New Year😔 once we got inside and we showed them our online tickets the tried to charge us $2 a piece extra for a cover charge! Security had us to speak to someone we guess was incharge we didnt have to pay😶 but then once we decided to find a place to seat a waitress told us that we were in VIP seating and it would cost us $300 to seat we explain to the waitress about out $66 tickets she left seconds later security came and told us we had to seat somewhere😒So my question to Press Box Bar & Grill is this how you guys do? I mean what was the online $66 for? Because we brought drinks as well. We were so disappointed. We travelled 30mins. for what? to be taked for our money?

Went here for a night out with my best friend and brother. We had lots of fun and time flew pass. We did order some drinks that weren’t to pricey but I did not get a chance to order their food. I have not went back since that night but I am going to try it out in the day time to see how the restaurant is.

I paid for skip the line tickets online for a event and when I got there it wasnt a skip line! It was 2 types of tickets sold. One was for general admission you just had your guaranteed ticket to get in the other was skip the line which cost a little more. As I was standing in line I asked the person in front of me wonder what was going on why we were waiting she proceeds to tell me she bought a regular ticket for $20 and I paid $40 but we were in the same line and ended up getting in 31st the same time after about a 30 minute wait in line. Next time (if there is one) Ill just buy a regular ticket because that was a joke about the skip line.

Make sure you go when Majestic Smokers is there doing hookah and cigars. Hot spot with a lively crowd. Great music as well. If you like billiards theres a hall literally next door.

Went there this weekend with some fellas to kill some time... decent drinks prices, have plenty of pool tables, food was basic bar grub, and the service was good. Would go back, only gripe is the automatic gratuity for everybody regardless of party

I spent half my night enjoying playing pool they did have a nice DJ. The music selection was on point but people was sitting around looking bored dance floor was basically empty. It seems they trying to have a club scene but I see it more as just some place to unwind. The drinks were over priced from other bars especially with a night that didnt have an event. Overall Ill give one more try just for the pool table and music.

I came on Biggie day and the music was trash, they didn’t play biggie songs all the way through and the drinks were trash as well. Charged me $7 for $2 worth of juice and liquor! I will NEVER come back to this establishment! And it was hot as hell!

My friend wanted to come here for her birthday and the door staff, security and bartenders were very welcoming. They were playing early 2000s hip-hop and had lots of pool tables available.

Absolutely disrespectful people. I went to celebrate my 21st birthday with a party of four and was TOLD it was 18+ but we had to sign up to be members. When we went to sign up they switched up and said everyone had to be 21+ . We asked a question a simple question and was told to leave. I am absolutely disgusted with this service and I JUST move to NC. I will NEVER return.

This is a pool players dream. So many tables and a clean atmosphere. They also have ladies night on Mondays which is free with lessons I believe. Fridays its like a club. They also have a karaoke night. Food is also served there

My time to see my nephew band perform was destroyed by a egomaniac bouncer. We were talking to ourselves and he came out of nowhere yelling at my friend and threatened him. He is a psycho. Then to make matters worse the manager was no help and seem to be afraid of him as well. It started really when we stood at the door for 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged as the same security guard held a conversation. YOU COULDNT PAY ME MONEY TO EVER COME BACK HERE!!!!!!! When my friend went to get a refund, the guy followed us outside as if he wanted to say something else. He is a horrible person. The fact that he still has a job says alot about this place.

The bouncer at the door , should be ashamed of himself, he rude and truly is a bitter old man , The rules change based off his mood and I feel bad for the owner because he will never get the revenue he seeks with such a nasty bouncer whom is in desperate need of therapy.

This place was amazing club. It was crowded, great vibes. We had a birthday party here and the waitress were on point. They were fast and accurate. This place also has pool tables on the other side of the club.

The only reason theyre getting 1 star is because I cant give them zero. My server was rude, probably because she knew she would be getting automatic gratuity, although there was no sign posted about it. She didnt know much about the menu. I will never go back there ever. There was no place to sit because they reserve tables. Who does that at a sports bar? The music was entirely too loud, so loud that I couldnt even hear myself think.

An ok atmosphere..People dance a little. Drinks are Ok on the scale from 1-10..I give them an 6, so I guess its not that bad.Certain barmaids had attitudes..It was alright!!!

They will say they need a debit card for pool games saying they dont accept cash but can pay cash for drinks and food ...my card was on file and I checked my account the next day $31 was the amount..mind you the bar tender told me they needed a debit card on file but it will not get charged...I know I paid for my drinks and a pool game in cash ..so where did the $31 bucks came from? Obviously I got took for a ride ... Im an out of towner so I wont be going back there again...and when I tried calling them no answer after multiple times...

OMG I had the best time ever here when I visited Charlotte. I love that the DJ played nothing but old school music from the 80s and 90s. They only thing I didnt like was lack of seating.

Went there last night with a friend and the so called owner Im guessing because he would never answer the question of who he was besides Tony stared us down the whole time we were there playing pool. He was black with a neon outfit on the neon colors as if he was outside directed traffic in the parking lot lol. After my friend lost a game she put her pool stick on the table then we hear a man yell Dont slam the pool stick on the table. She asked who he was then he proceeded to say Ill kick you out of here. After already feeling uncomfortable we still continued to play. I overhear him talking to someone saying she talking about who am I. He then walks over to security and kicks us out for no reason asking the girl at the bar to cash us out. By this time as Im paying my bill Im telling him how its a shame that he is supposed to be a man bullying 2 young women for no reason. The only thing he could say was well she slammed the pool stick on the table. Ive been to this establishment plenty of times and never have I been treated like this. Poor service but never had we been a target (2 females) for no reason. As the security guard is walking us out he agreed and said I understand how you feel because yall have been here all night and havent been doing anything. Needless to say I wont be back.

The drinks are over priced and the music choice of sounds seems to be much better when you listen on radio before 11pm when they want you there. The dj was not happening this night and thats unfortunate for me cause I had a better expectation in my imagination than what really was.

I went to this place and ordered the sampler with the wings and crab cakes, when the order arrive it was something like crab balls. So I ask for the manager, he came and told me it’s crab balls on the menu so what do you want me to do and I said go get the menu, so we have menu and it clearly says CRAB CAKES. The manager was so rude , knowing he was wrong . So I said well I thought it was crab cakes so can you at least add to more or theses so call crab balls and he said no! I won’t . He didn’t want to reason as a manager. The waitresses were ok I tip her 20 and let her know it wasn’t about her . I came all the way from dc and The service was some crap.but i spent the rest of my time outside with Kevin he was great with the hookah . Kevin ur the only reason why they got two stars instead of one 😒.

Bouncer lied and said age limit is 25+ for women and 30+ for men yet online it says 21+. Didn’t care to argue nor deal with the bs so we left. Flying saucer draught imporium around the corner is a much nicer establishment - no weird discrimination tactics there.

If i could rate this place as a zero, or if i could go lower than a zero I would. Not because of food or waitresses, although i cancelled my food order. My reason is management and a rude, ignorant, sweaty, cursing security guard and a weak manager who doesnt stand up for her customers because she look scared that he might hit her. I was there with my friends to support my nephew in high school as he sings with his band for the first. The guard approached us as we were sitting with family and friends and rudely started asking are we staying. Mind you he saw us pay to get in as we waited for him to finish his conversation for that. So our faces were shocked at his tone. He then preceded to curse and tell my friend they can take it outside, and stated he can leave. We werent saying a word and he basically attacked us. He even followed us outside as if he was waiting to be provoked further. I have never felt so threatened at a restaurant. Then the manager came out and took up for him. And did nothing to remedy the situation not even an apology. If we were ignorant like the security guard i guess he would have left us alone but good people get this treatment. I am livid at this point and im not stopping til I tell as many ppl as i can that this is the most disrespectful place i have ever encountered in my life and they will never ever get my business or anyone i know.

Ive played APA pool league for many years. This is the WORST establishment Ive ever had the most unpleasant experience. Our team will finish out the pool session and then our team can not leave fast enough. Talked with other teams and the feeling is mutual. Great location, poor establishment.

Worst establishment ever. Went to play pool as it’s advertised as a billiards facility. Waited over 10 min to gain someone who could assist me with pool table rentals. Several odd ppl walking behind the bar and counter but no one asked if I needed help. Stopped one guy to ask if he worked at the location he immediately said “I’m just the dishwasher”. Then walked off... the “bar guy finally came “ stated he needed to hold your credit card AND drivers license. Who needs a CC AND DL to be held in a box on the counter that any and everyone was behind. The bar guy says “I’m the only person who has access to the box”. Which was an absolute lie. The box was on the counter even I could reach over the counter and grab the box and walk off with any card even the box. Why would an owner of an establishment have a rule that says a credit card and drivers license must be held (not ran) but just held in a Rolodex box until your game ends? That’s tooooooooo much information being held in an non secure area in this day and age of fraud and identity theft. All for 9.00! This is by far negligence and improper credit card handling by a business. As a retail business owner who was simply looking to enjoy a night of pool, we could not patronize nor conform to such egregious and negligent business owner...

The atmosphere was great, crowd was great but of course another place that forces you to stand all night unless you pay for VIP or get there early enough for a bar seat. It was my first time there and I stayed about 45 mins and left.

Went for Wednesday Karaoke, had a great time! Good people, great drinks, good music. The host NuffCed and BB is great, makes you feel comfortable and keeps you laughing!

The food was horrible...ordered food to go, looked at the menu...the Press Box Platter was listed as $13, got my bill they charged me $15. The menu also stated that the Chicken Tenders were hand breaded, they werent, they were already breaded frozen Tenders you get anywhere. My wings werent fresh, theyd already been fried, refried and dipped in my sauce...poor quality of food.

Instead of music with dj we got tv very loud. nobody except one guy didnt watch it and we asked to make it little bit not so loud but she ignored it. waited for food so much time even for appetizer when it was slow. Im not recommend this place.

We came in on Saturday night, snowday in Charlotte. Very dissatisfied with my burger, TV was extremely loud despite only a handful of patrons watching the game. Difficult to have a conversation during our meal. We decided to skip playing pool because it was so loud and distracting .... Hopefully next time we will have a better experience.

I wanted to order lunch but they dont even open until 4 p.m. This is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard of for a business. Theyre probably too drunk to get up early enough to open during normal operating hours.Its a shame too because the menu sounded good.

Nice atmosphere, plenty of screens to watch multiple games. Food was decent and prices reasonable. You do have to get a membership, which is only $1.00 per year.

Terrible service. Waited thirty minutes on the wrong order. Waited another twenty minutes, only to receive the most horrible garlic parmesan wings I have ever tasted. Spoke to the manager. She stated nothing she could do. I offered to pay half of the cost of the wings. She said no. Will never go back and will share that experience with everyone I know.

Worst service ever. Food was terrible. Ordered the chicken parmesean. Noodles were watery. Marinara sauce was bland. Never got a refill. waiter never came back to give my tab. I just left the money on the table and left when I really shouldnt have paid at all.

Bought a $1 membership card upon entering, no big deal. (Im mentioning that we bought a membership because a previous reviewer commented on the auto gratuity and Press Box replied saying something about having to be a member). They have limited beer options, and when someone tried to order an OMB Copper the server came back and said the closest thing was an Angry Orchard (not even a beer so not sure who gave them that info). Menus are paper tri-folds printed out with random Xs and food marked out. All menus had different markings, so hard to tell what they actually had. Stayed for one round of drinks and left. Auto gratuity was added to the receipt that we didnt notice so the server got extra.

The food here is great. Their lightshow and sound system is top notch. Its a great place to go for a night or just to have a few beers and shoot some pool.

The Press Box was doing a farewell brunch Sunday March 3rd for CIAA tournament weekend. There was only about 35-45 minutes left for the brunch to be over. They were still attempting to charge $25 to get in & then the customers have to also pay additional for the brunch & the Mimosa drinks.

Not a bad spot to hang out. The only thing is on the weekends the parking can get full due the events going on. But a decent place to play pool. Service was not bad.

Wanted to get out and watch Sunday football. Heard Pressbox was a good place. WRONG!!! You cannot even sit without reserving a table. When you do sit the secruity guard is harrassing you. This is suppose to be a bar & grill, NOT. If you not popping bottles & paying extra you are not welcome. This place has become ridiculous. It is the worst to come hangout & enjoy yourself when you are begin harassed by secruity for sitting a table to order food. This happens on both sides. I would not recommend Pressbox to my enemy.

All of my other visits have been 5-star but this last visit the staff was very rude they close earlier than the hours that was posted on their website and they forced us out as if we were a herd of animals and did not allow us to finish our drinks that we paid for. That visit was actually a - 10

The broccoli was little under cooked and wasn’t washed off enough oh yea you served my app in a basket but you want me to buy $130 bottles and spend $150 just to seat in a section seriously you served my app in a basket and my entree on a dull plate with dull sliverwear that couldn’t cut there my broccoli the drinks were good music good the tables were not busted the whole night the tables were dirty the whooole time I was there this place needs more work! #seriouly

If Youe Open Time Is 12:30pm per your business website then the doors should be opened at 12:30pm especially with Patrons 10+ waiting at the front door to be let in.

Utterly ridiculous. They make you purchase a membership. Had my disabled friend standing in line outside in the cold for over an hour. Bathrooms on the side where the pool tables were disgusting the entite night.
