I cannot recommend my Denese enough! Not only does she work wonders with my hair color, always achieving the perfect shade and tone, but she also gives me the most flawless haircuts. I always leave her salon feeling like a million bucks.And lets talk about her extension work - pure magic! They blend seamlessly with my natural hair, giving me the length and volume Ive always dreamed of. I constantly get compliments on how amazing my hair looks, all thanks to her expertise.On top of her incredible skills, she is also a joy to be around. She is friendly, professional, and truly cares about making her clients feel beautiful and confident. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair - she is simply the best!

Walked in for a haircut and was so lucky to get Denese. She was fabulous. I was able to communicate what I wanted done with my hair and she gave me the exact fresh new look I was hoping for. She was friendly, professional and very kind. I would highly recommend. I have long and curly/wavey thick hair that not all hair stylists know how to work with, so Im often uncertain what the outcome will be, but Denese got it. She was also very affordable. Cannot recommend enough!

I like to change up my hair a lot. Ive been seeing Denese for years and she is amazing! Whether its fantasy color, ombre, highlights or all-over naturals, she is an artist with the color brush! And shes not the only one! The whole salon is filled with such talented stylists you cannot possibly be disappointed!

Zaina was able to come in last minute to blow dry and style my hair. My hair looked fantastic and will hold up well while traveling. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the kindness I received while at Renaissance in Lincoln Square!

I had such a wonderful experience at this salon. I came to Zania for the first time after another salon gave me a really bad haircut. Zania was able to fix it while keeping the length and added gorgeous layers. I also got some great styling tips and my hair looks so lovely.

Denese has been styling my hair for years. It always looks amazing no matter what I ask her for. I wanted to go blonde one year she took me from black to blonde in a day and it looked amazing! Shes done beautiful extensions. She even did my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She is so knowledgeable and super friendly and I always walk out the salon with amazing hair

Denese is a magician. She took my broken, dull color hair and taught me how to treat it correctly. After a few months of her recommendations, I have healthy glowing hair. She knows how to match colors to perfection. I’m a boring highlight/lowlight gal, but I see others leave with colorful hair and a smile! She is honest if she doesn’t think something will match my face shape or if a color will wash me out. I’ve been going to her for 5 years and I highly recommend.

Great salon, extremely accommodating! I have an appointment with Jasmine every six weeks! Im pretty picky with who does my hair, so the fact that I keep coming back says a lot about the salon!

I first went to Zaina after what turned out to be a coloring nightmare. I do believe I had 5 different colors/shade on my shoulder length hair. To say she fixed my hair would be an understatement. Her talent and patience brought my blonde hair back to life. As an Aveda enthusiast, I have experienced many talent professionals. However, I can say without a doubt she is the best stylist I have experienced. Do not miss out on the talent this salon offers.

Nice ladies, they were welcoming when I came in. Price is average for a trim. No wait time.Gloria did a good job! My hair could be a little difficult to style since it tends to be curly on the roots and not so much towards the ends... It was my first time here so I wanted to try baby steps first. I understand that it takes time to get to know someone’s hair style.I usually like my hair very straight on top and some waves towards the bottom. So it requires a lot brushing and heat to the roots, didn’t happen this time... My hair has more body to it, even though it didn’t have layers it did have long form/bangs like towards the ends. Now it looks more even and oval like shape...I also was wanted to know what Aveda products have to offer since I am gluten intolerant and have a reaction to permanent dyes. Gloria was great at explaining.Wanted to point out also, when I made the appointment the day before and asked for a senior stylist, I also asked for her name. I got to the salon, got started with one girl. I wanted her to see my hair while dry, so she knew the style I had before the trim and to start getting familiar with what were dealing with.Usually, I like to build a connection with the stylist, we talked, she was washing my hair, and then, sorry you get a different stylist... “I made a mistake sorry,” wrong stylist I was told.I was given a free hair sample size product or something like that to make up for the confusion. It’s great I appreciate that. However, I just don’t know what happen to the stylist I made the appointment with. Usually you get the person you make an appointment with.I know things happened but now the new stylist didn’t see what my hair looked like and what I was expecting from it, etc. You know, dry hair shows the real deal.Idk I am not a stylist, but I don’t even know what happened with the girl I made the appointment with...that builds confusion to the client like, I was specific when I called for a reason. The girl I got knew her job, but the confusion was just not right since I don’t believe there was such “confusion.”Just a little stone on the road during my first visit.

I had a fantastic experience with Jimmy and Charlie. My hair looks and feels super healthy. I dont think Ive ever had more natural looking highlights, and Ive gotten compliments on my new cut all week! Will definitely be going back. Happy camper!

Just had my first haircut here and my hair looks amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and I could tell that the owner really cares about what she is doing. 10/10 will be returning.

My partner and I both go here for our hair needs. Love the folks who work here! They are open all weekend, as well as have some later weekday hours, which works well for our schedule. My only warning is to book at least a week in advance if you want you hair colored; and weekends can get a bit hectic for walk-ins. Oh...and try the herbal tea while youre there.

Love this little Aveda salon! So happy its in my neighborhood. Super friendly staff and fabulous haircut. Tanya was great trimming my long layers and gave wonderful advice for hair care. Will be going back regularly!

Woke up angry at my hair and so I walked in here. They were able to squeeze me in that same day and they gave me a very trendy haircut I asked for and it turned out great! I will be coming here for the touch ups. Friendly and professional service.

I’m so happy I found this little neighborhood gem of a salon! I called on an impulse, this afternoon (YOU know that moment you see yourself in the mirror and your hair needs a change NOW) and was able to get a 6:15 same-day appointment. Jimmy gave me a fabulous cut - exactly what I wanted. I feel like a million bucks (and didn’t spend a fortune either.)

Manal has been cutting my hair for close to five years, and Ive never had a bad style.This is a sweet spot in Lincoln Square that offers everything youd want in a local salon and spa: haircuts, amazing color (from what I understand), manicures and pedicures, massages and more.BONUS: Go in the evenings, and you might get offered a glass of wine while you wait to sit down.
