Went for the Thursday night stand-up comedy. I enjoyed myself. I had the loaded fries. There were a lot of flavors, some that didnt exactly mesh together. I really liked the venue, theres so much to look at. Its very ornamental

One of a kind hideaway in the house of blues. The decor is amazing, all the attention to detail in the design and history of the rooms is so interesting. The service impeccable from the servers to the mini tours and stories about the place. The food was good whether you want a shareable app or an entree. Really a top notch venue.

Overall place is unusual and interesting, but there are a few things that can’t guarantee 5 stars. Firstly they have a glitch in their system once in a while. My appointment was cancelled they day of appointment once a while ago, so I just didn’t go there. This time they cancelled my appointment in 2 hours before appointment. I came out anyway and they explained that a system glitch does that and the offered a table. So I’m not that unhappy because of the late cancellation then. The menu is very short, you can’t get much good in restaurant. Staff is polite, most of people try to do their best at that place, however there are a few persons that just don’t care of anything. Nice place to take a few photos, very unusual style and design. Show is fine as well. It’s nice that you can have dinner and watch show, not so many places can offer that.

What a beautiful place! It’s in the House of Blues (we were confused looking for it lol). Really beautiful decor. Drinks were delicious. We just had the cauliflower since we had dinner reservations elsewhere. And our server Lauren, was just a stunning server and person.

Definitely recommend upgrading to Buddy Rail seats on the edge of the GA floor. No wait in regular line outside HOB. Exclusive access to the Foundation Room private bar, food, lounges, and bathroom 1 hr before openers. Check in with ID for VIP and then your tickets to get into show. Vampire den vibes. Well worth the upgrade.

What an amazing hidden gem. A VIP venue within the House of Blues on the 3rd and 4th floor. Super cool decor throughout. Favorite was the quick and easy stops for drinks or the bathroom. They also had a DJ after the concert ended and continued to throw a party. What a fun experience.

Had the - worst -old fashioned - evar - here and the bartender tried to get away with some shady up charges. Bill has tip added but they do not make this obvious or let guests know. Terrible experience to start our vip night off with.

Best social membership in Chicago! Kelsey Rios is amazing and will always make you feel like a VIP! If you join, make sure you get the membership details in writing so there’s no misunderstanding. Work directly with Kelsey for best results.

Ambiance is beyond cool. The food was perfectly cooked. Best chicken ever juicy and savory. Vindaloo tacos were possibly the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. Dan was incredible and provided some great conversation. Service was perfect.

You know the scene in John Wick, he goes into the Continental... check in with concierge, get a pat down, ride an elevator. Presto, transported into a new world of the Foundation Room. Wont spoil it much further. The space(s), host, service and food is impeccable. Tried the charcuterie platter, truffle fries and a few wines by the bottle. Dont miss the spectacular view or the Cucumber Fizzy drink when offered.

If you can, get the membership its worth it if you host get togethers or just hang out with friends often. The place has gotten better due to hiring more staff. Pricing is still up there but your downtown so what do you expect. If anything try hitting up the comedy shows at least once. The steak isnt bad, if you ask for it rare it is really good!

Loved almost everything about this place. Its a very unique, cozy lounge and worth a look but extremely overpriced drinks. I will never spend over $45 again just for a vodka on the rocks and a basic negroni.

Please do not waste your time and money at the Foundation room. There are DOZENS of bars right across the street that are thousands of times better.Located in a tiny tucked away corner of the House of Blues, the Foundation Room is the complete opposite of a hidden gem. Many comment on the look and feel of the room as it has lots of folk and south-eastern Asian art all over the place. A closer look will reveal the soot stained walls peeling away, furniture that smells moldy, and an overall dinginess that they try to hide by keeping the lights low.Overpriced drinks/food and a heavy smell of burning incense will shock you from the moment you walk into the room. They regularly market the room as being exclusive and “Members Only” in addition to charging crazy annual prices for the privilege of calling yourself a member. However, they open the doors up to the general public almost every evening after the music hall shows as they try to make as much money as possible. The room often gets packed, sweaty, with very little seating during these nights.Save yourself some time and money by heading to the room for a quick tour and turning right around to go next door for a drink.

If you like food with your salt, this place is for you. If you have high blood pressure or heart issues, dont eat here. Server couldnt find any pepper when we asked for it, but brought out a cup of MORE SALT! 4th floor was burning so much incense, it was hard to breathe.

👍👍 5-star for ALL Events in Foundation Room. Intimate. Professional. Beautiful. Full Production. Show Wardrobe Galore!Best BURLESQUE Show in Chicago! 2 full hours of Entertainment. Worthy Tickets. Variety of Acts & Wardrobe. You will never be bored. AND Interesting! Yes, I stared and checked out Ms Fireballs act. Unfortunately, when Performers go off-stage, viewership becomes challenging in some corners/sections.Promoter/Producer/Host James COMEDY NIGHT on Tuesdays can be a hit/miss depending on Talent Lineup. However, JAMES promoted concerts are awesome! 🤘 {AC/DC, Metallica, Prince, 90s...we can be HOB Groupies for James}. 😉My gratitude to Concierge Extraordinaire TARA B for helping me coordinate the schedule & plan. 😘😘FOOD {1-star less}:Kitchen is a better Fryer than Griller. When they do something good, its GOOD! 🤩 You get an entire bag of LOADED BREAKFAST POTATO as a side (see photo, Staff and Us were amused by the plate). 😮 We, the Ignorants, thought Aged Cheddar in CHARCUTERRIE & CHEESE was a carrot! 🤯 FRIED CAULIFLOWER was another bushel moment that I enjoyed it as leftover! 😋Avoid the STEAK FRITES as medium well was dry. Medium BURGER came out medium well, another dry moment.🥩
