Js Blossom Nail and Spa

I’m writing this post as a customer who has been coming to this nail salon for almost two years. See pictures below. Part of me wanted to keep this gem a secret but I owe it to the ladies at J’s Blossom for my lovely AND healthy nails and will share the details of my go-to spot.Great for those with hectic schedules: I always call ahead (15-20 min before) to see how busy they are and there’s only been two occurrences where they recommended coming by in an hour because they were busy. When I stop in, I’m usually seated within a min or most after 5-7 minutes.Great for introverts: On my busier days, it’s such a great place to get your nails done by professionals. They are talkative if you’d like to chat but most times I can sit back and unwind.Excellent service: I’ve gotten different foot spa treatments, the last one had some volcano treatment and brought my aching feet to life. I’ve never had complaints with the manicures and tend to get Gel-X or the new rave, Hard Gel. What I loved most is that each nail tech will take the time to look at your nails and offer advice or recommendations. I ended up switching from Dip to Hard Gel and it was a good call.Professional setting: Although parking may to be tight, the nail salon has upgraded seats and the pedicure seats has a massage function. I’d say it’s one of the nicer salons in the area.

This was my first time at this establishment. I picked it because it was close and because of the wonderful reviews. When I walked in, I saw that the space was very beautiful and clean. The staff are very friendly. Both myself and my daughter Booked a Manny Petty. The prices online are slightly different than the prices on their menu.There were some concerns I had with consistency of their services because nail tech does their manicure and pedicure slightly different. I had to make sure that some parts of the service were actually included with the price that I was paying.The person who did my nails was instructed to do a no chip gel nail. I believe it may have been her first week. Although she was super nice when she started doing my nails it was very clear that she was not very experienced. As she did my nails, I realized that the nail polish was lumpy, and I expressed that to her. Once she finished my nails, she did try to fix them Now they looked like soft marshmallow nails. I was so frustrated. I told her never mind. I went straight to the owner and she asked me how everything was. I specifically showed her and told her that my nails were lumpy and she told me well that’s how it is sometimes. I did not get a discount. I did not get an offer to come back to fix it , they just charged me and said have a good day.I am almost to go back because even though I am sure they will try to fix it. I am not confident about the quality of their work. There are particles sticking out of my nails, which makes the finish very rough and again my nails look like soft pillow marshmallows, and they are super lumpy. It is completely, discouraging to know that I showed the owner my nails and she said that’s just how it comes out sometimes and she even touched my nails. We will not be back.The photos I include are about a week old, no my nails did not grow that fast. There was a gap consistently throughout the work that was being done. It looks like I have old lumpy nails with particles in them.

I had the pleasure of having Nancy and Sandy work on my nails. The experience is a 10/10. I absolutely loveeee this salon. You are serviced immediately and every second of it they treat you like a queen. You’re missing out if you don’t make a trip here on maintenance days!

I am giving five stars to May, she absolutely slayed my nails and the designs. She was incredibly sweet and very diligent about making sure my nails came out the way I wanted.I originally came in with a design that I wanted to replicate but had something I wanted to tweak. She was so helpful and creative. I’ve been stopped a handful of times and asked about my nails. Each time I get to praise May’s work. As long as she’s at Js Blossom, that is who I am going to. Thanks May!!!!

I’ve been coming to this nail shop for over 3 years and I’m never disappointed. All the techs do a great job, but of course we have our favorites. Nancy is new to the shop and does such an amazing job. Whatever design you want, she executes it so well. Stephanie and Alynn do phenomenal jobs as well! Come to J’s blossom…you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been coming to J’s for nearly 2 years now, and they ALWAYS do me right!!! I’ve tried a number of their services and they are always beautifully done and attended to with such a high level of care. I’m writing this review today because I think I have my absolute favorite nails to date! I had Sunny today (as I do most days) and she KILLED IT!!! The girls in here are so so nice and the salon is lovely! Will forever be my go-to salon in South Loop :)

First time being here. The service and quality are both amazing. Definitely one of the best nail salons I’ve been in Chicago. I would go back in a heartbeat to see the nail technician Sia. She did a fantastic job with my nail extension and design.

I get my nails done by May and I always leave with them looking great! She always puts in a lot of effort to get them looking the way I want ❤️ Very kind and patient and service has always been great. I always get a ton of compliments after getting them done and I highly recommend getting your nails done with her here!

I absolutely just had one of the best nail experiences ! I’m not from here and wanted something funky, my girl Sia really did such an amazing and was absolutely so so sweet! The Salon itself is so cute and has so much to offer!! Literally such a great place!

Ive been coming for a few months now after my other nail salon closed and I have had a great experience everytime. May has been amazing and always making sure I am happy every step of the way and gives me tips on how to keep my nails healthy. They also have a huge selection of colors! They have a stamp card as well after 9 visits get $20 off which is a huge benefit

While the salon was beautiful, my no-chip manicure broke within 1 day of getting it. My natural nails are long and Ive never had an experience like this just one day after receiving a manicure.I went into the salon to ask them to at least just remove the gel nail polish for me so I didnt have 3 broken nails and 7 long ones, and they wanted to even charge for this.I understand gel chipping or breaking a couple of weeks after getting it but one day? Thats absolutely ridiculous for me to pay $100+ and have the nails be done for the next day.Will NOT be going back.

I’m a very happy customer that’s been coming to JBlossom close to 10 years. My nails are always beautiful for everyday and special occasions. This last appointment was no different. My wedding nails were gorgeous and I enjoyed my full appointment and was pampered like a princess. Love the speedy service and wonderful customer service.

I was skeptical about going back to this place because I was disappointed with my nails the last time I was there over a year ago. But I went back today, and Sia did an AMAZING job on both my mani and pedi! She was kind and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable. She made suggestions without being pushy, and helped me pick the best color for my nails. Ill keep coming back as long as she is there!

Sia did an amazing job with my nails! She is truly an artist. I’m so happy with the results. She took the time to prep my nails, do a cuticle clean up and did the most amazing art on my nails. She’s also the sweetest person. I wish I lived in Chicago so that I could do my nails with her regularly! I definitely recommend her. 10/10!

I got the gel x service for the first time here! It was an amazing experience. The space is beautiful, with flowers decorating the walls. There’s a wide selection of colors to choose from, and my nails look perfect! I even got a nice back and hand massage at the end. I highly recommend coming here

I have been going to this nail salon 3 times now for gel x fill. Staff are kind and accommodating. I would like to personally recognize my nail tech, Sia for doing such a good job with my nails. It was my first time doing 3D nail art and she did not disappoint. She made my nails look just like my reference photo!

Loved the experience so much! They do an amazing job with gel and hard nail strengthening. I got a blue chrome tint over the nude nails and my nail technician did exactly what I imagined just based on a photo. Jody did an amazing job! South loop location.

It’s been a while since I’ve last done a review, however, the amazing service at J blossom has made me come back to yelp!To begin, making an appointment is simple and easy. I have never had issues within the last 3 years and they have always done amazing.I made an appointment by the phone for the next day and requested a nail technician that is comfortable with nail art. My nail artist ended up being Lin. I asked for recommendations for my nails based on the dress I will wear and inspo pictures. She did above and beyond the images I showed her. She was meticulous and very detail oriented. She made sure it would go well with my dress while also keeping my preferences in mind. I requested Gel-X short almond nails. She made sure I liked the length and shape before going on to the nail design. She did amazing and explained what she was doing.In addition, it seems like all the staff here enjoy working with eachother and attentively listen to their clients request. I really enjoy the location with its close access to the L and bus 36. It also has a lovely interior design. The pink and floral designs elevate the location.Overall, I’m so happy and excited to show off my nails. I love coming here and will continue to recommend it.

I have passed this location a few times and decided to test them out. I wanted to get a gel pedicure with designs, so I booked an appointment online with someone who has good reviews for design work. Unfortunately, when I arrived, she told me she only does hands, so someone else completed my pedi. As a result, the design I received was not really what I wanted compared to the photo I showed, but it seems like the technician did the best that she could. However, I was charged $30 extra for a very basic tiny 4-dot flower on each toe. I went with the Aloe Pedicure for $65 and she spent an hour scrubbing and massaging my feet. My French gel pedicure came out decent. I would recommend this place for typical services, but I would not recommend them for design pedicure work. The salon is clean, designed well, and I appreciated them using plastic bowl covers.

Lovely experience, the workers were very understanding when i explained my design choices and were patient even when i changed my mind. They were careful and thorough and i will definitely come back here in the future. Sia did my nails and she was absolutely fabulous.

I’ve been going here for years and my nails always look fabulous. Nancy payed such attention to detail, was gentle and helped guide me to choose the right color. I feel like I’m in a spa here.. well worth the money!!! Love it here.

Always a pleasant experience! Service varies depending on nail technician, but overall love the place. I get full sets seasonally, and I have been going to J Blossom on and off for the past 3 years 🥰💅✨ I also teach at a high school that has a cosmetology program, and my cos girls are always pleased with my nails when they’re done by J Blossom 😂♥️

Ive never been disappointed when leaving J’s Blossom. The atmosphere is relaxing and the nail techs take their time to ensure youre happy with the color and shape. Always love visiting!

Wonderful nail salon! I’ve been getting hard gel manicures and pedicures from May for several months, and she’s excellent - super precise, and my nails look great for weeks. Also, the salon is a fun place to visit, with cute decor and incredible nail art on display! Highly recommend checking it out.

Booked an appointment with Sia at 10am on a Sunday. Got seated right away and she did an amazing job replicating my nail inspo picture! She was very detailed throughout the entire appointment, which is always appreciated. Thank you Sia!!

I brought in a photo of a dress I was planning to wear to n upcoming event, and Sia went above and beyond to create beautiful nails to complement the dress. She took her time and did not rush the job at all. Could not be happier!

Came in last minute for a gel fill after work. Was in a seat within 15 minutes and had a great experience. Stephanie helped me get exactly what I wanted and I am so happy with my nails.

I had an incredible experience at Blossom! The service was outstanding, and Sunys professionalism, expertise, and kindness were remarkable. I was unsure about which polish to choose, but Suny knew exactly what would work for me. I opted for the Blossom spa treatment, which was incredibly relaxing. Suny took her time with each polish application, ensuring perfection. I highly recommend this salon to others, and I am already looking forward to my next visit in two weeks!

5 stars for Mia!!! I got my nails and eyelash extensions with her, and I LOVE them! The eyelashes work pretty well, look very natural and I feel nothing about the fake eyelashes. She did a very professional job. It’s a very good store, will visit more times!

Loved this place! Was in town for a conference and desperately needed a mani pedi. I told the woman my nails are pretty weak due to a history of regular gel manis, she suggested a powder manicure to strengthen them and when I told her I had never gotten one she sort of explained the process and timing so I could understand. She was super efficient and paid close attention to details which I appreciated. A gentleman who worked there also gave me and a few other women a mini water bottle because it was during a heat wave. The staff there were all super nice and clearly got along well. I didn’t catch the man’s name but the woman who did my nails was Sue. It’s been about a week since and not a single chip or break which is usually the case by now historically with my nails. Would def recommend.

This is the best salon I’ve been to, from kindness and cleanliness to quality of work. I had an appointment with Sia today and she takes her time and is very meticulous with her work and sweet. I showed her the design I wanted and she created her own based on what I showed her, which turned out to be more beautiful than the photos! Well worth the time and cost. I’m very picky with my nails and I am beyond happy with how they turned out.

I’ve been coming here for awhile. This is the first time I got a design here. Jodi absolutely killed it, the design looks exactly like the picture. She also gives a mean shoulder and hand massage. I’ve attached my inspo pics so you can see the similarities.

As well as a variety of spa pedicures with gel polish.While each visit is unique, they are consistent in quality and care for the client.Prior to visiting my nails were short and unmanageable. They now have grown and are able to be properly shaped. Their upkeep and strength testing positively against my clumsy and crafty lifestyle.Still, it is a benefit that this salon provides a 10-day guarantee on their gel nails, fixing a flaw with receipt if brought in.The salon is cute, with pink and flowery décor. Nails turned out great.3 stars for confusion in ability to do designs on dip vs gel vs gel x vs no chip. I got an ombré design + a line down the middle on all nails. I wanted dip but was coerced into getting gel x raising the price of my nails up to $133. I said I was fine with a shorter nail and the nail tech continued to say how she could do better with longer nails. She cut down all my natural nails and told me after that the price would be $133. While doing the ombré design that she said would be easier, she asked a coworker how to do it. The coworker basically trained her on my nails which is only annoying because if she had to be trained anyway, she could’ve just done dip. 😒Wouldn’t go back unless I wanted a high end design (NOT WHAT I GOT)Appointment took

It was my first time coming here and the service was very good. My nail tech was very skilled and did the design exactly the way I wanted it. Everyone was very nice and the place was very pretty.

This is my daughter and is favorite place to go for nails. Clean, courteous, and always ready with the new styles! Ive never had a problem getting an appointment and everyone is always so friendly. Its a really lovely environment and never fails to resolve in a perfect mani. May did this design, she was so patient and help me come up with something I absolutely love!

I love Js Blossom Nail and Spa! Ive been coming here going on four years and Im always happy with the services. When Im prepping to go on vacation, I bring friends with me as well because the service is friendly, fast and the best quality. They really stand behind their work.

I went in for a volcanic pedicure, which was $70 , thinking Im going to get the best pedicure of my life for that price & I was wrong! On the menu, it said the pedicure comes with an 18 min massage, which it did not. The girl was nice, but its like she barely applied pressure. She did not massage my feet at all! Only applied products. She applied the scrub & did not scrub it in & she did not clean up my toe nails. She only filed the length. It said it came with a heal mask, which I did not get. I wish I had spoken up about the things that were missing. Also, when she painted my toes, she did not use a base coat or a shiny top coat! When it was done & time for me to dry my toes, she asked if I wanted to pay as if I was going to run off. This place is really pretty but not worth the pricing at all! Save your money & and go somewhere else.

Ammy went above and beyond for my nails. They are absolutely stunning, and not to mention the environment is so relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend coming here, and I’ll definitely be coming back !!!

I have been coming to JBlossom for years in the south loop! Today Sandy did my nails and she did a great job! She took her time and did a wonderful paint job. They have an abundance of gel colors to choose from and always do a wonderful job to ensure your nails look like exactly what you want!

I received excellent service here. I opted for a no-chip manicure and am very pleased with the experience. The cost was $50, excluding tip. My nail stylist was very attentive, providing excellent care and giving me beautiful nails.

I am a 1/5 customer when it comes to nails. I cant have acryl, gel, or anything fancy and I am so sorry that I ask for a simple job, but this shop gave me the most incredible service and top quality French manicured nails. 9/10 times, I chip a nail leaving my home salon and Ive gone almost a week with no problems. I am gratefully blessed that I walked into this store on a business trip. Thank you to the woman who gave me something simple, and yet the most beautiful way to feel girly and gorgeous.

Super clean, and beautiful establishment. All of the techs are very nice and do a wonderful job with both nails and feet! The owner is super sweet and checks in with customers frequently during their appointments! I love it, I’ll be making my permanent nail salon.

I’ve been getting my nails done here for the past 2 years since moving back to Chicago. I even trusted them to do my wedding day nails last year, which were beautiful. I usually get the gel overlay and recently started getting the OPI chrome coating. A bit more expensive but the final look is gorgeous. Definitely recommend this spot.

Always a great nail experience with Maggie! I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and always walk away happy (and with lots of compliments on my nails)! She takes her time but is efficient, and pays attention to the small details that really make a mani look polished and perfect. The salon is also very well-kept, bright, and happy! I always recommend this place to any friend who is visiting!

Reasons why you should not go here:1. They charge $5 for a cut down, what is the point of a manicure then?2. I waited for almost 2 hours for them to take the person who came in 30 minutes after me first…even though I had an appointment.3. The people who do “nail art” are terrible, my nails look like a child did them.4. The small girl in the front has a nasty attitude, she kept pulling my hand and saying “when I tell you to move your hand, you do it”…as if I wasn’t doing it fast enough…5. Similar to 4, the customer service is terrible. These young girls have major attitudes and then expect a large tip.6. Quality is terrible, my nails were filed crooked and now they are growing crooked. It’s angering.7. The owners take no responsibility or accountability. They are cheap and don’t care about the customer.

Love this place so much, my favorite nail salon in Chicago. Everyone is so kind and great customer service.

Nail techs working at desk were busy doing their own Halloween nails, minimal interaction, minimal eye contact and thought they both spoke excellent English continued to speak to each other in another language except when answering a specific question. Felt I was an inconvenience to their day rather than a valued customer. Manicure and pedicure. Old polish not thoroughly removed, still showing through. Save your $$. & DIY

A friend recommended this salon to me, shes always had a great experience. I booked an appointment and came in last Monday at 5pm, it was busy and I waited 30min before someone was available - I didnt mind the wait. However, the nail tech rushed through my entire gel manicure. She put a polish on my nails that ate away at the previous gel polish, which made my nails curl under (instead of soaking them in accitone), then she proceed to scrape it off my already thin nails making them even more paper thin, I mentioned to her that it hurt. She then used the drill to file off the remaining gel....in short, I walked out with a cut cuticle bleeding and one of my nails broke the next day because they were so thin, a week out and my manicure is already peeling away.Its unfortunate that the tech was rushing through the manicure. There were many happy customers in there, sadly I wasnt one of them and I wont be back.

I got a fill and a pedicure. They charged me $255!!!! They said the chrome was OPI so they had to charge $25 more. (A full bottle of opi chrome is $19.99 lol) A $65 fill and $75 pedicure cost $255 in the end. The math isnt mathing. They did a beautiful job but the price was absolutely insane. I just got white chrome on my toes and a french manicure with chrome. The ladies were super-sweet and did a great job, but the up charge is just ridiculous. A French manicure is not “art” my receipt says “1 art each $60” so $30 per hand?! Also a $30 charge for “custom” Every place I have gone doesnt charge extra to shape nails its part of the service. Be sure to discuss the price prior to receiving the service. Atmosphere is nice, pedicure chairs dont massage, they simply vibrate. I gave 4 stars because they did a beautiful job, but the price gouging is unfair.

I dont typically leave reviews on nail salons, but my nails typically last me 3 weeks and Im on week 4 right now with zero lifting. I have to go on vacation so Im getting them redone, but if I didnt, these nails could have easily lasted 5 weeks! That being said, its super expensive. I paid $175 for the full set and a pedicure after tip. It feels really steep, but I guess in this case you really do get what you paid for! For my fill in + the most basic pedicure and it is $100 pre tip, and that feels a little more comparable to nearby salons in south loop.

I am so happy to have finally found a nail salon in the city! We just moved here and I was scared I couldn’t find someone I liked or trusted to do my nails! I’ve had them done 3 times now by Stephanie and she does the best job hands down!

Really pretty inside but, unfortunately, bad no chip quality. I suspected as much while it was being done but wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt - it was super rushed and my nail tech was not interested in doing a good job on my nails. My thumb chipped (no joke) less than 24 hours later, and the rest of my nails chipped and/or separated within a couple of days. My cuticles were also crap. I think they cater to fancy nail designs. Maybe I had a bad experience. I also reached out via Instagram the day after as I was not in the area to stop by and received no response.

Honestly its hit or miss. If youre lucky, youll get a tech that knows what their doing. If youre not, youll waste your money. Some of the techs are absolute sweethearts that do great work! Unfortunately others rush, act annoyed, and skip steps. You cant really request a specific person because you never end up with that person you request. They also charge extra for everything, with already exceptionally higher price point than competing salons. One time they charged me extra per nail because i used different solid colors (no design) on each nail. You dont get an itemized receipt so the pricing is always sketchy. Before, I have had nails done by certain techs at J blossom that lasted 4 weeks. I got my nails done recently last week and theyre already broken. Really disappointed as I really wanted to love this salon but theyre very inconsistent.The techs that do good work and designs seem to be always busy servicing individuals from their own culture. Theres nothing wrong with that, except when you request someone that specializes in designs and then get someone else last minute. & then you see the person you were supposed to get servicing someone else. Its very obvious.The pedicures never leave my feet smooth but it wasnt a dealbreaker because they used to be good with hands.This last visit was exceptionally disappointing. I showed a design that the tech was unable to do yet she tried to do it anyway. Finally i asked for something she could do because it was not working out and she said i can do any design. She clearly was not experienced with designs and I wasnt interesting in staring at a botched design on my nails for weeks. After staring at each other uncomfortably for a few moments I ended up with something completely different because i felt uncomfortable and wanted to just get out of there at that point. She forgot the paraffin treatment for my pedicure, forgot the cuticle care I requested for an extra fee of $15 of course. She charged me an extra $15 for the design... which was not a design at all. She forgot to give me a hot towel, skipped the lotion and cuticle oil. When i left the salon I had nail polish all over my hands. Sorry to say my 3 year streak with this salon has ended.My typical services amount to approximately $200 + 20% tip, for that money I expect service that reflects the price.

I got my nails done by Jody. She was extremely detailed and professional. She made sure my nails are exactly the way I wanted them. She took the time to ask what shape, color, and style that I wanted. I arrived earlier than my appointment and they took me right away, I didnt have to wait. I got the French manicure with my natural nails. Jody helped filed my nails down to make sure all my nails are all the same shape. She took her time to make sure the white tips are all even and smooth. I loved the results. Will definitely come back and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get their nails done.Environment/Atmosphere: Nicely decorated, peaceful and calming surrounding.Its hard to believe the other reviews where they said their nails didnt last long and how they were treat negatively. Mine lasted longer than expected and was greeted the moment I walked in. I would definitely give this place a try if you are nearby.

My new nail spot. It’s a very well decorated place that truly does feel like a spa experience when you get your treatment done. There is ample staff to accommodate your needs and make this a relaxing experience. I always get a simple color on my nails but their nail technicians can get fancy with their designs to give you the elaborate designs you would want. I highly recommend this place and make sure you get an appointment before coming as they get very busy!

My experience wasn’t perfect but it was pretty close!! The workers are gentle and don’t force small talk. The salon is beautifully decorated and very inviting. They don’t play music too loud and the nail stations aren’t too close together. The only bad part of the experience was I got hurt a few times with the cuticle clippers and drill but she was very apologetic so I didn’t mind too much. It’s pretty affordable as well.EDIT: It’s now been two weeks since I got these done and sadly they broke about a week and a half in :/ I still think this is a nice place and I probably just caught them on an off day so I would have to go back again to see but I don’t live close enough. Definitely worth a try!!

The only reason why I’m giving this salon two stars is because of the aesthetic, but unfortunately that’s where it ends for me. I had an awful experience, and I’ve gotten my nails done at multiple places in the city. I rarely complain, and if I’m unhappy I simply choose to do my business elsewhere on the next fill. However, this experience upset me on a whole other level. I came in for a gel pedicure & a hard gel fill in w/ French tips. It was the same thing that I walked in with, just from a different salon nearby (side note: they actually did a good job at the prior salon, but I wanted to try this place as the photos were super cute). I was SO disappointed by the service I received. The pedicure was fine - although the filing was a bit rough, she was thorough in making sure they looked neat. The woman who did my fill was a different story. She started off by insisting that she knew me, and what color base polish that I wanted…I had never stepped foot in there before today. It was a slightly awkward encounter because she didn’t offer to show me the color of bases that were available. Instead, she grabbed my purse off of the table where I was seated and put it on her work station. I was a little caught off guard, but I followed her. Before I could ask to see the color of base polishes that were available, she had already chosen one for me (I’m guessing since she “knew” me so well). I came in with a pink base and I didn’t expect her to match it exactly - but she NEVER once asked if I wanted to see the colors that were available, nor did she ask what shape I wanted. When she applied her color choice to one of my nails (which was almost orange), I politely asked if we could switch to something more pink. Again, it didn’t have to be exact but this was a completely different tone than my natural nail bed. I allowed her to choose the next base which was STILL an orange tone and (I was very patient, because I should’ve insisted on a color wheel at this point). After having my purse thrown around multiple times by both her, AND the nail tech beside her - I was so ready to leave…I paid and didn’t give my nails a final look before heading out. They are misshaped and some of the lines are not straight. Not to mention that I had to ask her to apply a second coat of polish! With that being said, they treated me with such disregard that I had to take the time to thoroughly express my disdain with the service here. Although this was NOT okay, and I’m so ticked off about my experience. I STILL left a tip because I do believe in decency when a service is given. However, I will definitely be sharing my experience with all of my friends/colleagues and will not be returning.

I don’t recommend this nail salon. I used to come here pretty frequently since it seemed to be a decent local option. However, the quality of service has decreased significantly since my first visit back in 2022. My service usually feels rushed now (especially pedicures), and even when I’ve had an appointment the service typically doesn’t begin promptly upon my arrival.My larger issue with this location though is that the staff price gauge so often… and the quality of the service truly isn’t worth the price. For gel-x nails and a pedicure I used to pay ~$120 (before tip)… now the price has skyrocketed to $170 (for reference, this is with no nail designs, add-ons, etc.).I completely understand that their prices may need to be adjusted year over year to account for inflation. However, every time I go to this salon it seems I’m charged a different price (for the same services I always get) depending on which staff member I’m talking to. Additionally, whenever I ask clarifying questions about the price of my service, several staff members surround me, speaking in their language to one another while inspecting my nails, and argumentatively challenge me when I recount the price I just paid 2-3 weeks ago for the same service (i.e., for either a gel fill, or gel-x full set) or the staff challenges me when I clearly reference their price list! This whole ordeal has happened repeatedly to the point where I’ve often felt so uncomfortable by the spectacle of it all, and have routinely felt taken advantage of as a loyal customer.While it’s inconvenient to now have to find another local nail salon (especially since I’ve provided so much business to this shop over the past two years), I simply don’t plan on returning to this location.

I really liked the professionalism and everything seemed really clean. My pedicure was great, but I observed others to have a much more elaborate one, if given the option I would have chosen it... Since no one gave me a choice I assumed Id be getting the same thing as the others, and was a bit disappointed when this didnt happen.For the manicure, again, I observed others to have the works and they were asked if they wanted extensions. I was asked this but when I chose the extension it seemed to eliminate the manicure portion. Just the set was applied with no fan fair, some were a bit crooked and when I pointed it out she attempted to fix but they still were a bit off. I did however think her application style was impeccable...prior to shaping.Overall a beautiful place that was clean and organized, though my services didnt seem to meet what I was expecting or the price tag. With tip, it cost about 1.5x what I would pay in Michigan for a more deluxe service.I loved the coffee and baking show that was playing on tv. I was memorized and thought I should go to South Korea just to get a coffee from The Liter. 🫰

TLDR: they have bad service, unskilled technicians, and cheap products.This place was decent the first couples times I went for gel and pedicures, however I was shocked by my first dip experience here. After applying all the layers for dip, my nail tech placed a small fan toward me to dry my nails which caused ALL the powder on that table and hands to go in all the holes on my face including my eyes! I had contacts in my eyes so it was just a horrible experience. It was my first time getting dip here so I thought this was normal. After only a couple days my nails started chipping so I went in to get them redone (they have a sign at their counter they will repair within x amt of days for free) and this time the same nail tech didn’t blow the fan at me so idk why she did it the first time. She said it’s either their products or my nails that was the problem.After a few days since I got my nails redone, my nails chipped AGAIN. I went back in to get them redone but they were going to charge me since it’s been over a week total since the first time I got my nails done. One lady was going to do it for free, but her colleague stopped her in their language and was borderline yelling at her in front of me. I felt so bad for the way the colleague was treating this lady that I said I’ll just go somewhere else.I went to a different salon to get my nails redone immediately since they looked awful with all my chipped nails. At this new studio, my nails lasted 4 weeks with no chip sooo I guess it was their product that was the problem.I never went back to this place after my experience with dip and never will.There are way better places nearby, don’t waste your money here!

I’m a Flight Attendant for a major US Airline. I had a layover in Chicago and booked an appointment through their online website and Vagaro. The entire vibe of the nail salon was amazing. But the nail technicians are where it’s at. I forget who did my nails but it should be credited in the photos. I ended up with a Signature Pedicure and a Manicure. I showed her the nails I wanted and also trusted her to just have fun with the design. I LOVE them. The shape, color, quality…EVERYTHING. They took their time and didn’t rush. I wish I lived in Chicago!

I went to get a manicure and pedicure with no chip polish on a Friday. It is now Tuesday and two of my nails are chipped. I loved the service and the ambiance of the place everyone is so kind. I am just not happy about the nails I loved when I left and couldn’t even appreciate them.
