Always very friendly and accommodating. Depending on who you speak with, they can be a bit hard to understand. So if massage is too hard or you have other issues, it can be difficult to explain. If you will be late it is better to reschedule because they will still finish at your scheduled time but charge you for your full appointment. (Not that I think that is wrong, just sharing). Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

Wendy gives the best massage I have ever had. She is very professional and puts so much love and care into her work. I have gotten both tui-na and deep tissue. Both are wonderful! I love the hot stones and Chinese herbs. Worth every penny and more!!!

I have been going to Wendy’s massage a little over a year, I’ve seen many therapists and they are all exceptional. Coco is by far my favorite massuse and always gets the job done. After a few visits she remembered my pressure liking, points of needing attention and always goes above and beyond. They are super friendly clean and relaxing atmosphere. The price compared to places is very reasonable however I’d be willing to pay more for their services!! Also can’t forget Wendy at the front desk. She’s awesome so sweet and very professional and can always squeeze ya in!!! 5/5 but if I could give 10/5 I would!!!!

Wendys Massage provides the best deep tissue massage in Butte County. The therapists are highly trained and work hard to do the best job possible. One of the caring practitioners at Wendys can help you whether you are an athlete, a mom needing to relax, or a patient recovering from surgery. I always feel so much better after my massage there, especially my shoulders and feet. Highly recommended!

They do a great job and no it isnt a special massage place just because its Chinese owned you racist. If you need a strong deep tissue massage, this is the spot. I go once per month at least because I work hard and am really active. Its a must. One time I had a frozen shoulder and they freed it up in one session. I almost cried I think but it worked.

Atmosphere was nice but massage could have been more comfortable. I only gave 3 stars because of nice atmosphere/ friendly front desk staff; otherwise, massage itself was a 2 stars for me. My sister and I had a couples massage. Im from MN and massage therapists are licensed and understand how the body works along with where the muscles are. I didnt know California doesnt require the same type of training. My sister and I both agreed the massage was rough and uncomfortable at times. For instance, my message therapist asked if something hurt when she was jabbing her elbow into my shoulder blade. I said that it did, but she continued using the same pressure and did a number on my upper right shoulder which is still sore (and wasnt sore before I came in). At one point, she was using her finger nails to claw at my scalp, and I kid you not, I lost several stands of hair. It was no use communicating with the massage therapists about our needs/ wants because there was a language barrier. Anytime I get a massage, I expect to be comfortable, relax, and to trust my message therapist knows what theyre doing which I feel I didnt get from here. Needless to say, I wont be coming back because the overall experience of the massage didnt do it for me. Also, I dont know who our message therapists were as they didnt introduce themselves. There was just a knock at the door to come in, then they just said, were ready to start. 5 minutes in, I started to have regrets. Overall, Im disappointed because of all the other good reviews this place have. But once more, staff was friendly but massage didnt meet my expectations.

Absolute great experience! Nancy was my massage worker and she was so good did the best deep tissue ever! The best scalp rub I have to admit I probably ever had also great great prices!! This was my first time at an oriental massage business so I’m guessing some of the differences to what I might normally expect have to do with that. I paid the extra for the oil and herbs and I did wonder what the massage would have been without oil.I recommend going with an open mind.I booked with Wendy based on a friend’s recommendation and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been lucky enough to receive lots of massage from the best of the best. She intuitively went right to my most tense spots and applied the exact right amount of pressure. I asked her to go a little deeper and when she complied I had to ask her to go back to what she had been doing originally as it had actually been perfect.The prices are more than fair even with the add-ons and she was able to get me in on the day I needed which surprised me for someone with her abilities. Wendy was absolutely top level. I believe she said over 20 years experience when I asked - it definitely reflects in her massage! I just can’t say enough good things: amazing!

While shopping at Mountain Green shopping center, I saw this new massage business. I went in and got a one hour whole body massage. It was quite a enjoyment. The place is super clean with beautiful music. The masseuse was very professional with excellent massage technique. After one hour, I came out with my body totally relaxed. This place is highly recommend.

One of the best massages that I have ever had, also one of the most painful, but in a good way; also very relaxing, I almost fell asleep a few times despite the intense pain from the very deep and therapeutic work. Price is also very fair and affordable for the quality of work that they provide. They also got me in same day with very short notice. I am very impressed. Will be coming back again next time that I am in Chico.

My husband and I got a couples massage here a week ago. If you like deep tissue massage, I recommend going here! They also use hot stones for a little extra ($8 I think). I felt great right after, but was a little sore for a couple of days (to be expected). Im sure you could ask them to go lighter- but I needed the deep tissue part. They found my tense spots without me even telling them. They get up on your back with their hands and knees, using both to get the large muscles. I was surprised and impressed at their balance, strength, and dedication. These ladies earn every penny that they charge. I want to make this a monthly thing.

Me and my husband had a couples massage here yesterday and it was wonderful, I just had a baby and my muscles were very sore and I feel wonderful and renewed. They had great communication, they asked us if we were doing alright with the pressure throughout during the massage and they were also kind. Love this place!!

I called at 6:30pm in desperate need of body work, she took me in for 7pm! It was my first time there, I had a great experience. Not the typical western fluffy massage, they really work you! Of course they respect your comfort/pressure level though. 10/10 I will be going back!!

I just had the most AMAZING deep tissue massage EVER from Coco! I get massages pretty regularly but my usual place was busy.. I have never been into Wendys before.. have been feeling under the weather lately and with my monthly vistor being more inhospitable than usual.. I had a severe tension headache going in and it is gone now! I have actually never had someone find knots so well in my shoulders and back and clearly put such extra effort into them! She asked if pressure was okay often and trust me, it was perfect! Ill be a repeat customer for sure! Their facilities were very clean and professionally decorated, I was very pleasantly suprised. Excellent experience! Highly recommend!

I received a massage from Wendy. It was by far the best massage I have ever had. She knew exactly what to work on and it was amazing! Ive never felt more relief from a massage before and the upgrade for the stones and the Chinese herbs are totally worth it!!!

Ive been satisfied with every massage Ive had here. Their deep tissue was truly deep. They have the ceiling equipment so they can walk/stand massage on your back, they do hot stone and herb infused oil. The place is very nice and clean, standard prices.

I had a massage by Wendy herself. I was fortunate, I walked in and was able to get a one hour massage.The atmosphere of the place was professional and clean.I decided upon the deep tissue massage. The sheets on the massage table were clean and room was on par with Massage Envy.The service was excellent, 5 star. My massage technician, Wendy was great at finding knots in my back and base of my spine. I never knew how tight my back was until it was loosen up. Best of all, for days afterwards I woke up limber and good. It felt wonderful to feel so flexible, like taking off a belt that was tight.The price was awesome too. I imagined places like Massage Envy and Prana Endura would have charged my over a $100 or more for the same quality massage.Over all, superior ambiance, high quality massage, reasonable prices; the place is 5 (five) star.

I went because Ive had a bronchitis for over 3 weeks and have gotten no where with my doctor. Dont get me started on Prompt Care. I knew going in, the massage was not going to be a Swedish (relaxing) type. Instead, Mary (my massage therapist) worked on my back and then did cupping. (For a lady who is so petite, she is really strong). Cupping is not the most gentle therapy, but there is definitely something to it. She placed the cups on my back concentrating on the lung area. When I got home, I coughed up gunk that I could never imagine was in my body. GROSS. That night I slept like a baby (my sleep has been terrible for weeks). Im still under the weather, but feeling considerably better since my treatment. Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment, and I am going to raise hell with my doctor. I want him to answer what Im paying medical insurance for. That you Mary. You were great.

I was additionally charged $8 for oil and $10 for stones. I have 8 round burn marks from the stones. I wrote on the intake paperwork and verbally told The masseuse were my problem area was, and she chose to just do her full routine of my body instead of the areas I requested. Communication was a challenge with, her English was limited. I left there feeling slightly better then when I arrived after a 90 minute massage. Extremely disappointed and now have burn marks due to Wendy’s massage. BEWARE!!!

This has to be the best massage Ive ever had in my life! I traveled here from Texas with my husband on business and made an appointment for myself while he worked. I thought what the heck Ill try one of these techniques they have listed on their website. Darn it if it wasnt the best thing ever! They dont offer anything like this where I live. So, all you locals to this fabulous establishment.......you are missing out if you dont try this place!!!! Ask for Amy! After the massage she gave me I feel as if I can almost turn my head 360 degrees and flap my arms so fast that I could fly. Not to mention hula hoop for hours with these loose hips. Im hooked on the Tui Na massage.
