Quite a dive. Cheap drinks, but way too crowded. There was barely room to move around the night I was there. Being a newbie to the club scene, I dont know whether this is normal, but it was rather unpleasant. The area outside of the club is sketchy to an extreme. Once you pass through the doors to the outside you feel like youre on the wrong side of the tracks. Its not so bad inside. But the outside made my skin crawl and made me wish I had a can of mace.Overall, not a pleasant experience.
It was a pretty alright place. The drag show was good, but got kind of stale after awhile and one of the drag queens was rude to me because she thought that I wasnt tipping anyone when I was. For the most part, it was a good spot to be at.
One of the citys oldest and most underground gay dance clubs. This club existed when gay bars were dark and seedy and your safety was questionable and not guaranteed. A lot has changed in the past 30 years, unfortunately The Dock has not. They continue to charge a cover which is absolutely ridiculous in Cincinnati given all the other free entertainment that exist in the gay Arena. And. It has become nothing more than a rundown Cash Cow for the owners. Go elsewhere.
Changes are here ! Come see the new improved The Dock Complex . If you say new and improved at the door you will receive free entry ! The Dock Complex has been open 34 yrs . The first Cincinnati gay pride was held in the back of the club. The club gave gay people a place to be who they are in a safe setting in a time where it was not so safe . We are celebrating 34 years April 28th. We welcome you to come and see the new and improved Dock Complex .
Had a blast it is very nice on the inside bartenders were nice and the crowd was very cool to no drama everone got along. And you could be yourself and you could feel free.this was my first time there and i will deff go back one day; )
Went in there feeling pretty good one night because I heard they were opened until 4 am.Staff was incredibly rude and someone stole my cell phone. All in about 15 minutes, if that tells you anything about the place and people. Trash.Hours are wrong on the page and you can never get a hold of anyone.
UGH. This poor place is sooooooooo tired. It is seriously stuck in the early 90s. Dark and dank. You want THE place to go...head up Walnut St to OTR and go to Below Zero/Cabaret. Waaaaayyyyy better atmosphere, location is hip/trendy (and safe), better crowd...and get this...NEVER a cover. Get there early to get into the show (You DO NOT want to miss it at 1130 on Fri/Sat notes...and it is standing room only and often times there is a wait to get up there). Seriously, I CANNOT believe people still go to The Dock.
Stopped by this place for the first time around 2:30am they insisted all 4 of us pay full 7 cover charge even though they were no longer serving drinks. Then they closed the at 3am despite claiming to stay open to 4am. so they basically robbed us. Very rude staff management and a ripoff.
The staff was incredibly rude the guy at the front was very rude and didnt seem like he cared and a woman came up to me and grabbed my drink out of my hand and kicked me out for literally no reason at all. Would NOT recommend you waste your money there!
The shows are okay/good, the location is a bit shady but its cool. The drag queens are usually nice :) and overall its alright.
I was visiting in town and went to this club and was bored . I dont know if it was 18 and up or not because everyone in there looked so Damn young . The drags was not all that either . Drinks was okay and decent price I guess .But if I could of found another gay bar to go to i would .
Pros: The staff members were friendly towards me, some of the performances were decent.Cons: Outdated appearance, smallest club Ive been in.
I felt displace here. The cover isnt worth it in my opinion.Drinks are not reasonably priced, staff are typically rude, and your items may come up missing.
Great drinks for a reasonable price. 4 cost $26. Great drag queens and dancing afterword.
Rude , racially charged against blacks.. black husband told he could not wear a plain white Tee shirt. But it wasnt plain. Yet there were several young white males with plain white tees.. ..(Hanes) wow
When all the goth clubs closed, The Dock stood up and opened its doors to us! All you need is good music and a dance floor, right!?!
The Dimon Queens are awesome. Just beware of the drama queen DJ and the over the hill bartender in the back. Very rude!
Over priced, in a shady location, and kinda sleazy! Sometimes there are cute gay singles there, but its a gamble on when they come in..
Cheap drinks, great atmosphere, but its not for everyone. Get ready to take a walk on the wild side of life.
Oh it was Awesome I had a blast they where Great. And the Drink prices very reasonable
Didnt know it was a gay bar. Shady location, overpriced cover charge.
The music is amazing as are the performers. Definitely the place to be.
Great bartenders and a really kicking dance floor.
Itd be nice if they actually answered their phones for a change.
Cool place to escape from the drama of the average KardASSian club scene.
Best place to party and dance in Cincy!!
