Im writing hoping Junior is still the owner at Main Event, Im one of the OLD gays in town, I worked for Junior for 10 years and he is one awesome boss, I left on good terms and over the years he has given me stellar job references which helped establish my administrative career Ive had now for almost 30 years. Junior took care of us back in those days, he was like the parent who understood you, as a friend you could always count on him so hats off to Junior for making life easy when we were young and helping us after we left the nest. We love you, Large Marge (the old DJ at The Subway)

I Love my Main Event family!!! If U want a great show go see them youll never be disappointed!!!

The drinks are cheap but thats about it the bartender wasnt friendly and my partner was creeped out but most of the other guests. She told a guy that I was her BF and he said that he didnt care because he could handle me.

I went to see a burlesque show. They have inexpensive drinks and everyone was nice and welcoming.

The atmosphere at Main Event was super welcoming, and the staff were so friendly! 🌟 The music was totally awesome and perfect for dancing, and the dance floor was definitely put to good use! 💃🕺

Overall, the atmosphere wasn’t the worst, but, the drinks were absolutely horrible. There was a drag show going on while we there, and the performer stopped mid show to have a whole conversation with a guest. The owner (assumed) was rude and did not care to make our experience any better. Needless to say, we finished our drink and left.

Bartenders were rude. Waited 40 minutes to be waited on at the bar. Manager with brown ponytail unprofessional and ignored group partipants. Very disappointing and sad service... 😔

Ok the person before when I got here at 7 Don Julia was 650at 20 min after a new bartender showed up up it was 11 but gave me a receipt of ten . They’ll rip u out ur money. Please pay attention and it doesn’t matter if I use short text check to make sure these people over charging u. That had a dude sit at the bar act like he paying for ur drinks then charge u the forgiveness of ten. Please please pay attention cause the bartenders will tell u there is no manger and then act like u don’t matter and ignore u and do their job. How coy please make sure you pay attention to ur money and not the bar cause their best customers will make sure they are great they will even get on them phone and say how u a liar the guy who said he paid for my drink only was charged 6 dollars but when it came to 1 shot of Jose Cuevo he charged me 10 but said it was 11

Place is so so. Drag show is fun. Drink prices are ok. Bar service was good.

Please do not use your debit card. Try Tillies after going to the Main Event, Ive seen the night bartenders go in and take a few drinks during the day shift. They pick and choose who they like, except for Mike and Linda they would be robbed blind.The day shift staff is by far better than the night shift!

Nice show but the bathrooms are disgusting! Very dirty. Toilets especially. No hand soap. And there’s no air conditioning or fans. And if you don’t buy or reserve a table your standing for the rest of the night.

Always a fun night out with the girls! Service is always super friendly. Show was great, as usual. Felt safe in this bar. Never have a big issue parking on street nearby. Hope this place sticks around for a long time!

I love the crowd this place brings. Everyone seems to really enjoy themselves without making others uncomfortable. The drinks are a good price as well. I usually go on Sundays for karaoke but theres always some going on between Wednesday - Sunday

Went for the drag show. Showed up 30 mins late expecting it to already be started. Was not started and was told to sit down and it would be started in a min yet no one was at the side for drag just a few at the bar. Guy working the door made some really nasty comments multiple times.

Decently overpriced but with that price tag comes a lot of waiting 45+ minutes for lazer tag, the ceiling walk and an hour or more for bowling.(when we left it was a 4 hour wait for all of those) The game cards are also ridiculously overpriced. The employees were very nice though

Though Ive been away for almost 2 year, the folks here are just as nice as ever. Though not particularly crowded being 3 in the afternoon, the bartender, Eddy, was a treasure. I was thrilled to hear that J.R. is still going strong. Truly, this is one place that I have missed over the last couple of years. Its certainly worth checking out!

Fun place with cheap drinks. Bartenders are quickly and friendly. Restrooms were clean but out of soap. I recommend the drag show. Make sure to bring some dollar bills!!

Went for the drag show (which was amazing and the only reason I didnt give one star). The bartender was extremely rude to us for no reason. He asked me what color lipstick I wore and when I answered he said, I really dont care, just hurry up Im off in 8 minutes. He rushed me and my three other friends through the rest of our orders, making rude comments about how long we took the whole way through.Then at the table we realized that he has charged me and my fiancee $5.50 for our Titos and Sprites and had charged my other two friends $10 for their Jack and Cokes. We had all 4 tipped him! When my friends took their receipts up after another bartender had taken over the new bartender confirmed that the rude bartender had overcharged my friends, almost double! The new bartender gave my friends a free round, which they didnt really want because he said the other bartender had already cashed out... meaning that bartender had taken our tips and the extra money he stole from my friends and pocketed! He is the bartender that worked yesterday, 08/18 and was off at 7.

This is an interesting place to dance, though likely the dance floor will be taken up by drag performances. So if thats not your thing its best to avoid this place.Cocktails are usually cheap, lighting is dim, and theres a pool table.

Best bar ever! The bartender Eddie was the best part! He has fantastic energy and was a pleasure to interact with. Would definitely come back again!

This place really has surpassed the atmosphere where everyone is welcome and the showhost, JessicaDimon was interactive and Noone seemed to be disappointed with the organized showroom!! INCREDIBLE!! Reservations with celeb cast Rupaul girls frequently! What a come back for cincy after this pandemic! Thanx main event!

Why stay open until 2:00am if you close all your activities before that! Also they don’t have any last call for the bar and it closes way before the place does. Very annoying. Why have the place be open so late if there is nothing to even do and people can’t even order drinks. Just close earlier if you don’t want to serve people after 12:00am

Great atmosphere with very friendly people. Was on a solo walk about and came upon the establishment at noon. Not busy, but very friendly! Interesting conversation and a fun time.

Omg. What happened to this place? I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears (because they were pretty busy), but I’ve been coming here for years but today this place was busted af. I walked up and it reeked of skunk weed. Overbearing people screaming. Rude bartenders. No thanks, byeeeee

The best LBGTQ+ and Dance bar in Cincinnati!! Drag shows Monday- Saturday 10PM! A must go! Book a table for extra special treatment!

Wish that it was a GAY bar I dont mind that straight people go the bar but the bars are where we go out to feel comfortable around other gay people we go out looking for hookups knowing that everyone in the bat or a majority of the people in the bar are also gay and some are looking for the same maybe if the outside of the bar the bar represented gay culture a little more definitively then more gay crowd would come out and it would be more of a gay bar I am a young gay man of 20 and there are not that many bars that allow 18 and up and Cincinnati needs that I would like to make other gay friends other than on grindr hooking up please if you are in Cincinnati and are young and gay please come out to main event

You know what this is the main event and I herd its a gay club matter of fact the last time I went in there the war having a Big queen show and it was so gay that night but I guess I just didnt pay it any mind because all the other times iv Ben its Ben straight litter I guess its divers and I always have a grate time and the drinks are grate theyre not stingy with the liqure a drink is a drink there they dont give you ice unless you ask for it.i love this place.and they make the best stuffed loaded cheese potatoed

This is the best nightclub in Cincy. The people here are cool, funky, down to earth and know how to party. Awesome bartenders and inexpensive good drinks. And the entertainment, Miss Jessica, and the rest of the Ladies know how to DO IT! The atmosphere is laid back and not prentituos. I feel more comfortable and welcomed at the Main Event than at other Cincy gay establishments. And babies, if you wanna get that twerk on, this is the place! Awesome DJ! Ta Dow

Great place to have fun time with family or friends. Bowling lanes and Pool tables are well maintained. Food and Drinks are bit expensive and doesnt taste that good.

It’s a great fun place to spend a family day at, you can find games for all ages.

Big disappointment. The place is dirty, hot and humid. The Drag Show was preceded by an hour of groups getting their pictures taken.

We like going there our bartender know what we want to drink . Has it made and waiting for us as we sit down

Bar staff gave attitude when I asked for a drink then when I asked for a sex on the beach he then proceeded to just give me a glass with tequila and a squeezed lemon.

I love going down there its fun relaxing the show is away good

They need more people working the bar. It was nearly impossible to get a drink unless you wanted to wait 10-15 minutes.
