So this place--warm welcoming vibe with the friendliest people and a chill quiet atmosphere. They literally stayed open for our queer hang post-Monday night community bike ride.We made friends with the fantastically lovely bartender who stayed open for us (Deajah). And George literally left us a welcome package to make our day. (sob)The drinks were awesome, with some fun ciders and a decent selection of stuff. They were chill about us bringing in some pizza and even have suggestions and a connection for where to get it. There are games to play (like jenga) and a pool table. And we just havent felt so loved on, randomly, maybe ever.Thanks for making our day!

It was my first time in Shade, even though Ive lived here for over 30 yrs, and the people and the bartender, were very welcoming!! Danny was great at making me feel at home!! And there were patrons that also made me feel a home. I cant say how much it meant to me!! Thanks guys and Im sorry but all I can remember is the very nice guy that kept talking to me, I appreciated what you did for me, it meant the world to me!! Thank you!!

Too bad this place was so slow when we visited. The bartender was nice and made our party of two feel welcome.

Just moved to Cleveland Ohio and got to say its been an experience from NC. But this place is so warm feeling and welcoming. The bartender is super friendly and knowledgeable.. I asked questions and wasnt pushed away by my questions but instead greeted with answers and just an amazing conversation. I definitely will be coming bk on the weekends when its more lively and more people are here. I love this bar first visit and a returning customer.

The owner and staff are very friendly, sweet and fun. Its right around the corner from my house, so sometimes I stop in to say hello. I always meet people, have nice conversations, play music, and have a great time. One time one of the male bartenders did my make- up...it looked great 😇.

Ok, maybe biased because I live here, but this is one of my go to bars in Cleveland. Friendly staff and good prices plus a good assortment on tap beers that change frequently. Not pretentious, well worth your time if your looking 3 a great place to relax and chat with old friends or meet new ones.

Told Im done and its time to cash out and go, but people 2 stools down from me are more than welcome to try and order new beers.

I misspoke regarding a negative comment i made against the club recently and wish I hadnt done it. The comment saying I would not be back was wrong and I knew I shouldt have said it. I have truly not had a bad experience. The experience I had that day is a private matter between the owner and me. It will never occur again.

I love this place. The vibe is always super chill, the staff is very friendly, everybody is nice to each other, and the drinks are good and cheap. They have a TouchTunes jukebox as well. Their bartender Mikael is the best!

Good for a shot and a beer. Dont ask for any other mixed drinks because their bartenders will 99% NOT know how to make it. Cute place though, good vibes and cool lighting. Very limited seating also.

Decent new gay bar. I would go more often, but they charge 6.50 for Black Haus, where every other bar charges only 5.00. Im not cheap and I tip well, but I dont like feeling Im getting ripped off either. Bartenders are nice, but that pricing.

Visiting from California was told about a new club by a friend.We took a 23. Dollar Uber there. Got there about 1130. Walked in to be the 9th and 10th persons. Thinking we just may be too early on a Saturday night we sat at bar and ordered my drink which he couldnt make so we had two 7 dollar drinks which had all ice and made with sours which isnt an ingredient in the drink we ordered but the bartender felt it would help for some reason. It was discussing but not to be one of those we took the drinks anyway and waited an hour or so to see if it would pick up. It did not and we did not want to drink anymore over priced sours on ice so we took another uber home. So 60 dollars plus tips in rides and bad drinks after flying across the country. Lesson learned about this place. Ill try again on next visit if still open. If I order a drink please make it.. not yours! Unless you know without a doubt it will actually make it better in my opinion not yours.. since Im the one paying for it... A glass full of ice and sours isnt a cocktail I enjoy..Thanks.

So glad to be so close (distance wise) to a well furnished and packed gay establishment. No cliche or clicky crouds. No bs. Enjoy yourself. The drink pours are substantial. The prices are respectable. This is 2019s gay bar! No flashy BS. Bar is clean well kept and yes something different ... A true gay bar with no deception.

Always a good time when I stop by! One of only a few gay bars in Cleveland. Clean, friendly staff, chill vibe, pool table, lounge area, full bar and always getting a new rotation of local beers.

A great new gay bar with amazing potential. Deceptively large for the appearance of the exterior. Pleasantly surprised to find a brand new pool table, dance floor, and touchtunes system. I look forward to visiting again.

Staff keeps changing. One or two customers the most. If any at all. Always dead. Don’t think owner knows how to run a business. Better off going to local straight bars.

Casual place, really great employees. Management or owners need to figure out how to establish a patio.

Im from chicago, came here based on a local friendSat at the bar, bartenders asked what i wanted, got the alchohol but no interest in who i was unlike chicago and new york who would want to know you were and introduce you to patrons..exactly why is cleveland above chicago and new york..your call
