Biggie is the best security guard ever, he makes you feel very welcomed. the staff is very friendly and fun, i highly recommend.

Odd spot honestly. Came here for a good time and left preemptively because it was nothing but. Security guard started questioning the female members in my party about their Instagram when we were leaving, and I asked what the deal was. Came off super aggressive and attempted to project to me. I’m not the man’s therapist so I can’t attest to his mental instabilities. Weird personalities since the bar had good service. If you want to be sl**ted out for Rumor’s Instagram to rebound their ratings, please, patronize by all means. I spent $3 on my beer though.

Great place to go if you want to get shot.To show that Rumor is lying when they say no one was shot at their bar, see the quote below from the arrest warrant for the man who shot 9 people outside Rumor.“According to an arrest warrant, Jennings was seen inside Rumor Bar & Lounge before the shooting, where he allegedly spotted several of the victims.The warrant states Jennings then went out to his car in a parking lot on West 6th Street and got a gun from his trunk. The gun was described by witnesses as a “Glock with an extended magazine.””

The bouncer maced the girl next to me but missed her and got about 5 other people, including myself. The security ruins that club. Every time I try to go or walk by they are having an issue. It’s not the customers, it’s the security and bouncers. One of the bartenders themselves that the securities attitude problem affects how they get tipped.

Definitely one of the best clubs in downtown Cleveland. The deejays usually play popular hip hop new & old. The bar service is good, with nice selection of alcoholic beverages. I’ve fortunately went a few nights where there was no cover charge, but even still, the time you’ll have will be worthwhile. It’s a hype packed out space so not for you claustrophobic types

I am very dissatisfied with my experience at Rumor. I traveled to Cleveland 7 hours away to enjoy my birthday with one of my best friends. While there, one of his friends got into an incident which was indeed worthy of being kicked out. My friend was not only not involved in the situation but was not even in the area when it happened. He walked up as his friend was getting kicked out and security kicked him out and refused him Reentry even though he bought a section, paid over a thousand dollars, and wasn’t involved. On his birthday. Terrible experience.

They had good music playing before the browns game on Sunday. Drinks werent cheap but at least I didnt have to wait too long.

Walked up trying to find a place to hangout on a Sunday night. Was told the cover was $40. Even in Chicago on a weekend I’ve never paid that. $40 for a Sunday night when the club was empty through the window. The bartender were horrible, lazy, if you were not a guy they werent quick to serve a woman a drink. The security guards were picking and choosing who they let it. Which the club was already dead not packed at all! I would never visit this place again! Over prices drinks the lazy bartender tried to upcharge a bottle of Hennessey to 300 dollars wow.. Disgusting behavior!!

Other then the bartenders, everyone was very standoff ish. The maze to get to the bathroom is pretty ridiculous. Security by the bathroom was doing everything but security. Letting people smoke down there charging other people to smoke down there, and also smoking extra circular substances. This place used to be decent to go into and dance and have fun. NOT ANY MORE!

Rumor is ... Rumor. Of all the nightclub experiences that Cleveland has to offer, Rumor is one of the top choices. It has all of the standard club amenities, sections with bottle service and some of the sexiest bottle girls in the industry. The playlist is mostly modern rap and hip hop and the club draws an eclectic and trendy mix of party goers.

This club was busy and crowded but to be expected on a Friday night. But as a 30 year old woman the crowd was entirely too young for my taste. But if you love todays hip hop I say go for it.

Went on a browns game. The place was lit with a good DJ, fast bar staff and sizable security but no trouble to note. Nice BBQ grill out the front too so beer and burgers were up. This is all going on at like midday on a Saturday!

The bouncer would not let me and my friends in with converse on but let other girls and males in with tennis shoes on. He was rude, disrespectful, and didnt have an answer as to why he let them in and not us. I would not recommend this place, seeing as the staff is truly disrespectful and argued with us.

This bar/club is on the simple side of things downtown. Theres nothing really good or bad about this place, its just a place where you can go drink and dance to have a fun time.

Rumor definitely discriminates against the women they let in! I remember it use to be fun place to go then they start making security pick in choose who can come in. Black men and ballers are welcome. Black women not so much. My last visit there was in 2014. A hot summer night, I’m tall and do not like to where heels all the time so I decided to where sandals not plain and appropriate to go out in . I am also on the thicker more to love size. And the security would not let me in. He said because of my shoes, heels only he said While at the same time let a mixed girl with $1 fillip flops on right in in front of me. I just left never came back never will go back. They can keep it.

Bottle girls are thieves & drinks are watered down unless you see them open a new bottle. The bottle girl that served me a drink tipped herself ! I didn’t leave a tip for a reason, and didn’t see anything about gratuity on the receipt. This club wasn’t worth coming to at all. The music was trash, and it gets over crowded in that small a$$ club

Had a blast! For it to be so busy the servers were friendly and efficient!! The DJ kept it rocking and My 1st time there, I would go back and experience the the crowd!

Would give a zero if I could. Don’t come here unless you wanted to be treated poorly. Employee was really rude and made me want to never step foot in there again.

Most fire club in the city. Bottle girls & bartenders are beautiful and sweet, vibes are top tier ! 10/10

Horrible birthday Saturday wont be returning they changed the dress code before all of my party could get in and only half of my party for my birthday was let in talking about must have heels on everyone was dressed up but some stopped home changed to flats because we had been walking in heels all day plus they whole club dam near had flats on security just rude just trying to take a lil authority and make it bigger then what it is talking to women crazy just zesty and ignorant people at the door...

Please play up to date Dance Hall Reggae. Like for real. Shaggy and Sean Paul ARE NO NOT dance hall. Play some Afro Beats too while at it.The bartenders are where its at!!

Over price drinks and serve small amounts. I regret going here. Go here if you love over spending and not getting buzzed off ur drink. Atmosphere was ok but the prices are pretty much robbery.

Best place to hang out, dance, have a good time and see all the athletes and celebs who pass through Cleveland. Great dress code too... Cant miss!

Best in the whole city. My family comes from Miami every month and order them crispy chicken wings with sauce 😋 and them ribs are just right too.

Ok, my first time going out since I came to Ohio! This place was crazy crowded and security guards the seating area to make sure no one sits down. Its weird.
