The IVY

My sorority chapter had our formal at the Ivy and it was absolutely phenomenal! Brent and Curtis are easy to work with and they communicate quickly. The staff were great and very welcoming. Additionally, the food was great and very good reasonable prices. The spacious venue is also very pleasing for pictures and be prepared to be magnetized by the aesthetic. Everyone was able to secure a long lasting memory here. Overall, we have only great things to say about the Ivy Cleveland and will be working with them again in the future. Thank you to the team for being great, Kappa loves Ivy!

No entry fee and drinks arent outrageously priced, which is a good start. Came here a few times and I had a great time. Music was bumpin, lighting/atmosphere was cool and the club really gets going past 11, I had a great time each time I went, except for my last visit to which the bouncer would not let me enter because I didnt have a belt for my parachute pants, to which I tried explaining thats just how they look, and theyre very common among dancers. Im glad they prioritize safety but that seemed like a stretch to me and Im not sure why he didnt just pat me down.

We went to Ivy after other plans had fallen through for a friends birthday. The staff immediately turned the night around for us! The manager Jason was hilarious, our servers were on top of our needs, the security was nice and repeatedly checked in on us, and even made sure we got to our Uber safely. The club was CLEAN and had a great DJ. There were even empty outlets in our section where we charged our phones. We felt so special! The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a birthday! Highly recommend Ivy if you’re looking for a fun night out and to feel special!

If I could leave 0 stars I would.First, The pat downs they give at the door are a joke. Guys can sneak anything in if it’s in their shoes or even a pocket. Girls can just walk in with nothing. Girls can also have weapons & drugs let’s not forget that.Second, we ordered 1 round of drinks & something was in one of them. My friend passed out while we were waiting for the bathroom & the security guard said you need to get her out & started forcing her out. I told him absolutely not something happened here & we’re not leaving until we speak to a manager. The manager came over & he again said we couldn’t be there & we needed to leave. I asked if we could take an empty beer bucket with us just incase & the manager told me absolutely not. He completely brushed off the whole situation & his priority was more to getting us out then figuring out what happened. I asked the security guard if there was a back door we could take so we didn’t have to walk her through the club. After some pleading he finally said yes. I asked him to wait with us until an officer met with us outside. We talked to a police officer & he informed us that this happens constantly there. The manager has yet to call us to see if my friend is okay. He hasn’t called to get the whole story. Nothing.Third, people are actively smoking weed in here. Multiple people were rolling joints & lighting them just in the middle of the dance floor.I highly do not recommend going here unless you want to be treated poorly for someone putting drugs in your drink. It’s not safe for girls at all.I’d also like to add that my friend just received a call from the manager or owner asking for me to remove this review in exchange for a VIP table.

My experience on first day was pretty okay. The people were friendly. Bottle girls were nice to me. But next day one of bottle girl misunderstood me and i got kicked out of club. I was judged. Really not worth giving 5 stars in such atmosphere

This place will up charges on tips. People have guns inside. Make sure you were a belt even if your pants are on your waistband you’re dressed nice. Place has only went south.

Everything is always great besides the music has been pretty trash lately, DJ’s aren’t too sweet at taking requests. But can you say hot???? Omg I can’t even stay in here and dance for 20mins without being about to pass out! Baby please turn some AC on especially with it ALREADY being blazing outside and overcrowded!Bartenders ignore who they want and serve who they want. Would definitely fail on a Bar Rescue episode.Please clean the bathrooms more often! It’s way too crowded as is and slipping on the bathroom floor because it’s so humid inside can cause some serious trouble,Overall is chill just fix those things and you’d be a 5 star all around!!!

Been here before lots of time when this place was known as liquid bar. I was here saturday night for the first time after it got renovated and I like the new look with the new name. Our bartender was amazing and was quick to get our drinks right each time. It was kinda packed but overall great vibe and atmosphere. Hit this place for sure if you and your friends want to have good time.

Its pretty much a normal club experience. Spent like 40 bucks on two mid shelf tequila shots and a high noon. Lol

Place is dangerous. Multiple fights break out nightly. Weapons get snuck in as they don’t pat down people they know and come in regularly. Bed bugs in the furniture so if you’re gonna go do not sit down.

Stood in line waiting to get into the bar for 10 minutes. Bouncer says “I gotta wait to let you in until more people to come out. Then not even a minute later. He asks “do you have belts on.” Me and my gf said no. He says “I can’t let you in because of not wearing a belt when I knew the DJ”

We were there during a bar crawl so it was pretty packed. The atmosphere and general tone of the place was good though. We tried the Jello shot syringe and they werent too bad, though huge!

Was here as part of a Christmas Bar Crawl. Great service at bat and it was decorated nicely for Christmas . The music was a tad too loud as we had a hard time talking to each other while standing right next to each other. And the DJs didnt play any Christmas music, and being a Bar Crawl I would have expected at least a few Christmas songs.

We were at The Ivy for second half of Bears game yesterday. Great service drinks and security. One issue was the sports betting rep at the bar. He was hammered and fell into my girlfriend and then became rude with me. Security removed him. Bartenders said he is there often. Would like to report him to his employer Bally Sports Betting. Just need a name.

They are scammers. Lied about drake coming through after his concert and said they’d be open til 6. No drake and got muscled out by 2. Cost $100 just to get in for nothing. Terrible place

I wish I could rate this establishment 0 stars. Ever since I have been going here at the age of 21 my friends and I have only had bad experiences with staff. We are African Americans but we are not ratchet nor do we ever cause a scene and it’s sad that I have to point that out in the first place.I feel the staff is taught to discriminate against minorities and I have had many encounters myself, even though Cleveland is very diverse.I know you can’t run from the R word when you’re African but I feel that doesn’t mean you have to put up with it.My boyfriend who is Hispanic had a tab open Friday night he always comes here and pays and has never given anyone issues. He went to buy another beer and the bartenders lost his card. They claimed he didn’t have a tab and said “oh you don’t want to pay?! You can leave SECURITY”. His card is still there and I feel that they didn’t even give him time to explain anything just kicked him out. He was not rude to them nor did he cause a scene like they did.Absolutely unprofessional you guys can stop acting like you’re the hottest club around. We know who you really are.

Good music and nice atmosphere. We had fun without get drunk lol the thing is if it’s crowded you may not get fair enough alcohol in your drink. Vodka cranberry was just cranberry . Except that everything was nice👍🏻

Enjoyed this place with gal pals to celebrate one of our friends birthday. It’s one of the cleanest clubs I’ve ever been into. You wouldn’t even smell like smoke here.Drinks were affordable and everything has just been consumable.I just wish they don’t close the kitchen that early.I was hungry lmaoAlso, the women out here who serve your drinks are really sexy and spicy 🤭My friends and I were just staring at them LMAO

Attended a wedding reception here recently. Nice open concept space with good acoustics for the music. The food was absolutely fantastic and the drinks (and bartenders) were on point as well. They also serve their drinks in beautiful glasses - very bougie.

Dom(Dominic) is one of the best servers! He kept me and my friends safe and hydrated so we could keep partying all night! He deserves the best and I hope one day he sees this. On the St. Patty’s Day bar crawl and it’s the best and all thanks to Dom the bartender! ❤️

Absolutely terrible. Went there with a group of friends yesterday and the bouncer took my 26 year old friends Arkansas ID because he swore it was fake. She provided him with multiple other forms of identification and he refused to acknowledge them. Also throughout all of this he used several profanities and degrading comments to a group of females. It was honestly disgusting. Ultimately, the cops came because WE called them as he hid inside and would not give her ID back. He obviously felt really powerful that he swiped a females ID. The cops immediately cleared it while he coward inside, no apology for holding us up. This man was on a serious power trip and Ive never been so disrespected in my life. I feel bad for any female who comes in contact with this misogynist who takes major advantage of his role. Thank you Cleveland police for making things right!

I thoroughly ENJOY this bar. Music and service is always 10/10, possibly sometimes an 11/10. Shelby’s attentiveness is amazing as is her face! Lauren’s speed to pour me a rumpz is unmatched! Nothing but good vibes at this place.

Great hosted event by Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Beta Lambda Omega Alumnae Chapter. Patio area was just as inviting as the inside. The elevated VIP sections looked exclusive 👌🏽. The womens restroom wasnt too bad. The only drawback was my $20 beverage....be prepared...because I wasnt. Lol

Checked the website. Nothing about a dress code. Kid going in before looked like a bum, my friend and I weee denied because she had crocs on.

Good atmosphere, but was there for a short amount of time and went to the bathroom. Was then forced to leave the building because I stumbled and they assumed I was heavily intoxicated (I stumble when stone cold sober sometimes due to multiple brain surgeries). Not disability friendly, I felt like I was being discriminated against for having medical issues!

Took a birthday party to the Ivy for dinner. Menu was full of GF options. Everything was fresh, hot and WOW!!! Delicious! Best part? Food was flavorful. Drinks were drinks. Service was friendly and fantastic. Quality of the venue was top notch. Bartender was awesome as was the waitress. I’m definitely going back again soon. TRY THIS PLACE for yourself!!!!

If your looking for a club/bar this is a great place to be at. The bartenders are nice, fast and friendly. The best time to go if your looking to dance is definitely after 10 here

Love the ascetics of the bar. Wonderful place to go and meet up with friends! Happy that there is a new place in Cleveland to hangout at. The bottle girls are the sweetest and make sure you have everything you need. I would recommend to all if you’re looking to have a fun night out!

Wow, wow, wow!. The steak, mashed potatoes and aspargus was AMAZING. Delivered to my apartment within 25 mins. Hot/warm and fresh. I am impressed. Cant wait to stop by to experience the in-person version of dining. Thank you!

Although I like this bar, we participated in the 7th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas Crawl. Wasnt great.

This place is ghetto and way too dark imo. Flats are way better.

Apparently we came on an off night and it was dead. But the environment was still fun and the $3 tacos for tacos Tuesday were soooooooo good! If Im ever in the early again, Ill definitely be back!

Damn this place is HOT. Took my buddies and partied for a full weekend. Got bottles and went all the way. Them VIP Hosts hooked it up even when it was packed in there. Music was on point too, this is the next big spot. No competition. Plus, the hookah there is the best and has the best service, multiple options too. Ivy=100%

The ivy has such amazing food and a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and the night parties are amazing. Bottle prices are also very fair compared to other clubs in Cleveland.

Nightclub that doesnt draw a classy crowd, but pretends it does. Music is good and it is a fun place to party on the weekends, but the drinks are really expensive. Other bars are W. 6th that are better.

I was there for the FIRST time this past Friday to celebrate my birthday I called and reserved the ivy room 2 weeks prior a party of 25+ we spent about 2k also we got hookahs and 6 bottles.... someone then from another section came right into our section and tried to steal my cousins coat he got caught and confronted and asked to leave out section he then throws a punch at my cousin and tried to start a fight.... unsuccessfully........ it gets broke up, the people from the other section then decides to start throwing empty bottles and drinks into our section injuring 3 ppl from my party, we then tried to speak with the manager and he proceeded to tell us he had no proof of what happens and he knew the ppl from the other section and MADE US LEAVE then proceeded to PHYSICALLY REMOVE my sister out of the club along with 2 others for something that WAS NOT CAUSED BY MY SECTION.!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!! I would not recommend.

The drinks tasted like juice. They did remake one and said that it was their machine. But they all tasted the same. Didnt stay long and want be back.

A cool new addition to the cleveland scene. from dinner + cocktails to night life bottle service + dj’s, ivy has you covered from every aspect! even if you dont get a vip table for bottle service, they have 2 bars which makes it extra accessible for getting drinks without waiting around compared to other bars in the downtown area. friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

If you want your phone or other belongings stolen then come here!!! This is an ongoing problem as you’ll see if you read other reviews. They do absolutely nothing to prevent this, seriously multiple people have things stolen here do not come here.

This Place is Very Unprofessional....First Time There this pass Friday for a birthday party for my Cousin we got the ivy room an spent well over 2k on bottles an hookah... After Having some one Walk into or section an try to steel a coat only to get caught by my husband...The Person try’s to start a fight unsuccessfully...he returns to his own section to start throwing empty bottles an cups over to our section ....after 3 of our members of our party got hit with these items I try an talk to the so called Manager only for him to tell us that he can’t prove where it came from an that we had to leave an physically took females out the club... But The instigators of the whole situation got to stay and enjoy the rest of their night Just because they do call know the owner... Customer service sucks !!!!!

As one of the stops for a Halloween bar crawl, they showed the promptness and readiness to serve large amounts for intoxicated people. Sounds systems and arrangement were similar to any lit club.

Don’t bother requesting how you’d like your steak cooked.. it’s coming out well done. Fries kinda sucked too. Wings were alright.

Its a nice vibe on a friday night, especially if a good DJ is performing. However, the drinks can be pretty dang expensive, dont expect to pay less than $8 for a rum and coke

Phone was stolen here along with many others a few nights ago. Apparently this is a known issue to the club but there is no effort to avoid this in the future. Got patted down going in, if only they patted you down going out they would’ve found someone with ~20 phones.

The old Liquid got a much needed makeover. Nice and clean and friendly staff. Food was Average at Best.
