****Update 27 July*** After two days working in my yard I had a very bad lower back issue. So I went to City Life to get a massage. I paid the house money. It was taken back to a room. I got undressed and laid down on the bed. The lady who came in and said hello, how are you doing, and she proceed to cover me, she said do you want soft medium or hard? I told her my lower back and hips were hurting and if she could focus on that. She then said okay, and proceed on my lower back, she had amazing hands in a fantastic technique. I felt my back pop few times and she worked on my hips and she worked on them so very good that I felt them pop as well. It was amazing after the 60 Minutes was up I could bend over with no problems touch my feet and I had no more back pain thankful for the whole experience at City Life. Thank you to the staff and the lady who did my massage. I will return.

This place is amazing! EVERYONE is so friendly and welcoming. I haven’t had a bad massage from any of the employees. I bring my 90 year old father here almost every week and it’s the highlight of his week. If we don’t have time for the full body we get the awesome foot massage and I recommend both of them highly❤️❤️❤️

I have been coming here for years. It is professional and nice. I like to get their coconut oil massage. My skin is really sensitive and I felt they use really good coconut oil just like the one I use at home. Will keep coming back!

Great service. Went for Mother’s Day! Greeted with a smile and warm welcome! Sat in a very welcoming room with oversized comfy chairs and peaceful music. Got an hour foot and body massage! Love Loved it 🥰

Love love love this place!!! It is most definitely my go to when I need to unwind and relax. The guy always does a good job even though he will kinda harass about his tip.

I am from out of town , came to City life massage to enjoy a massage with my sister. Such a unpleasant place!! They are not professionals. We were in a double room together, the staff female/male both rubbed our skin off our shoulders. Never once changed area of massage!! Will never go back!! Staff was so rude when was asked to massage different areas, completely ignored us. As we left, we shared our unsatisfied service to the staff, nofeed back just said oh!! UNSATISFIED SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!!

First time customer yesterday— best massage of my life (and I get massages pretty frequently). Not sure why it took me so long to try this place especially since my mom and cousin have both raved about it for years. No frills, just a straight up amazing, relaxing and pain-relieving experience. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience! I was rushed the second I walked in the door to choose my massage. The lady I had (wish I got her name) didn’t speak at all. Beware they prefer cash! And ask you to tip 20%. Which I would not have minded doing at all except I was not happy with the experience. I will NEVER go back there!!!!!!!!! It’s cheaper than most places and now I know why!!!

I first called and ask for 60 min full body. Upon my arrival she asked did I call and I said, yes for the 60 min full body. I was placed in a room a man came in started to message. 10 min into he started to badger me to do a 90 min and then a 60 min combo. All I kept saying was 60 min full body. He then stop massage and said put on your clothes and finish in another room. now im baffled because why am I going to another room?! I get into another room after got all dressed. Its a foot massaging room. I said I didnt ask for foot massage he and the lady guess the owner tried to say I said for foot massage..i replied maybe it was another woman I did not ask. I kept saying full body...we go back in the room now hes putting lotion on my face and trying to massage me with my clothes on...u hippes up and say no thank you youve done enough...then try to change me for 60 I said no way...They dont pay attention and have their own plans. Just because Ive never been to that ship doesnt mean I know how to receive services....never again trying to force me to take something I didnt ask for

I waited till the last minute to book a massage today and all of my regular places were booked up… They accepted me as a last minute walk in for a 120 minute massage because my lower back was killing me. My masseuse was fantastic. Very friendly service. Most people seem to be complaining because of a $2 service fee for use of a credit card and having to tip. This is a luxury service and back breaking work. If you think it’s crazy to tip 20% or better for a massage, you are probably the person that looks for reasons to not tip at restaurants. I called and made an appointment and came 10 minutes before my time in case they had paperwork to complete. I was taken back quickly then about 15 minutes into the massage a woman comes in to ask me if I had an appointment in the middle of my massage. The man who was giving the massage stopped every 10-15 minutes to go help some one up front then rushed me to get dressed. They charge an additional fee to pay with card then demanded me to tip him with cash and when I gave him what he deserved since my massage was continuously interrupted he demanded more. This is not a reputable establishment the massage was fine but the service was not a place I would want to return and experience again.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! Never go here!. They will bribe you into a massage or something you don’t want to do even if you don’t want to. You will get a service and in the end pay for another service. On top of that a TIP! They will say mandatory $20 tip when it’s not required don’t do it. STAY AWAY! 👎

The massage was everything paying was something quite unique. It actually ruined my experience, when I went to pay for the service which I already had to pay an additional 2.00 because I used my card but as Im filling out out the tip section I wrote $10.00 the receptionist asked was that all Im tipping I just paid $140.00 service if I want to pay 10 for a tip thatd what Im paying she had a very rude attitude. If I come next time Ill pay cash and no tip because thats ridiculous to get mad at me for the way I tip . She should be fired because after leaving I started reading reviews and Im not the only one that feels this way!

Extremely talented staff members. The establishment is really clean, the cost are very affordable, and its easy to get booked. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends and family.

Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this place. The older gentleman got super aggressive with me when I didn’t tip him the amount he requested. The tip I was beginning to give was perfectly fine for the massage that I got. He stopped multiple times during the 90 minute massage. He’d leave the room, do whatever, and then come back to resume the massage. Also, I tip in cash so when I paid with my card and handed him back the receipt without a tip on the card, he refused to give me my card back. I then demanded he hand me my card and he got super rude. After he finally decided to give me my card I put the tip I had in cash back in my pocket and turned to exit the shop. The older gentleman snatched me by my arm and as I yanked away he proceeded to follow me out of the store. He then acted as if he’d block me from getting into my car so I told him I’d call the police. I got into my car and left. I was the last customer that night and wish there were people to witness what had happened. NEVER WOULD I EVER recommend this place.

I wasn’t crazy about this place; I only came here because my aunt gave me a gift certificate. My massage was fine at best, but the customer service was horrible. The manager is pushy, and you don’t get a chance to meet your masseuse before the massage. The table wasn’t comfortable at all. The hole for my face was shaped weird so it pushed on my sinuses the entire time. I’ve never had such a runny nose at any other spa or massage parlor. I guess for the price it’s worth it; even then I would rather have an expensive massage and a relaxing, comfortable experience than what I got today.

I called to schedule a couples massage and booked it days in advance . My and my husband show up for our massages and said they tried to call us to confirm but we never got their messages because they wrote down the wrong number . They told us to come back in an hour to get them done , we showed up an hour later and they still were not prepared for us and told us to come back IN ANOTHER HOUR . We were trying to be understanding so we came back another hour later , and they were still NOT PREPARED so we had to sit there for another 30 minutes after trying to put us in separate rooms (which would defeat the purpose of a couples massage) AFTER WE BOOKED IN ADVANCE !They then squeezed us into this small room so we could get our massages. The massages were decent and we enjoyed them because it was the first real massage my husband has ever had. We finish with our massages and go to pay for everything. As we are checking out the lady asked for a tip so we gave her one to avoid confrontation and then SHE DEMANDED MORE MONEY AS IF WHAT WE GAVE HER WAS NOT ENOUGH . NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD SOMEONE DEMAND A TIP!TIPS ARE BASED ON QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED AND NOT MEANT TO BE DEMANDED !!!

I had tried calling for an appointment time or a good time to walk-in, but the person on the other end acted like they couldnt hear me. So by it says on the sign and windows that walk ins are welcome; I attempted it. I was rudely told by a second lady to come back after being told by the first one who spoke to her boss that I could be serviced right then. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Booked same-day couples massage. Best thing we could EVER have done. I warn you, there’s not a lot of discussion before-hand. If you are apprehensive and have a lot of questions, this is not the place for you. The prices are reasonable, the people feel familiar, and the place is clean. Go get a massage!

Please dont say you dont have a $13 tip. My credit card was hastily given back to me as the cashier (who didnt speak English or understand it) rolls her eyes at me. I had just spent over $65 then they pull a sign from under the register that says give a 17% tip. I have always given a tip but she seemed forceful about it. The tip was not the problem but the rudeness was. Id never seen this worker before. I guess she was new. I went to this place once a month until that day. Im done

Went in for a massage this morning was greeted by the manager/owner she was bubbly, gave me a hug. I thought wow she’s super nice great way to be greeted. The young lady who gave me the massage was even better, she was great. When it was time to cash out it was. $2 fee to use card and I tipped the young lady $5 and the owner said to me oh wow that’s it. I thought it was rude and inconsiderate and her mood changed from bubbly to disappointment and her face told it all. Basically management is whack.

O. M. G. I’ve been hurting from a procedure for about a month, my left shoulder and right bicep. Walked in without an appointment and selected a 120 min massage. My sweet lady worked her magic! She was tentative, used the right pressure and my pain is 95% gone! I’ve been using City Life for ~5 years and they never disappoint. Thank you!

I went out on a whim today and did a walk in here without reading any reviews, and I am glad I did. The techniques used are deep tissue massages, which do realign tissue and some pain after is to be expected. However, my massage therapist constantly asked me if the pressure was too hard or okay. He worked hard, and there were zero interruptions in the 90 minute session. The receptionist was nice and friendly. I know I had a huge knot in my back left shoulder that he spent a lot of time working out, and the walk in convenience was very nice. I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you!

The place was very empty feeling. I made a reservation for my husband and they didnt have it on the books then tried to sell something other than what I asked for. The place smelled like a bathroom when we first walked in. At the time of checkout, the person told me that the tip was too small. That was a direct rude behaviour. I tipped what I felt was deserving of the place. My husband said the massage was ok. I wont revisit.

My and my husband comes here at least 4 times a year and today I was very disappointed I left out feeling like I came. That guy got up talk to other customers answered phone and all that was apart of my time. He was rubbing my legs whole time I had to speak on it. When I got in chair he didnt touch my neck or arms. Im was not pleased at all

My overall rate was perfect because the staff and owner were all welcoming when we walked in. #1 their smiles and service. #2 comfortable rooms and music. #3 prices are great, pay cash since with card it will be a little fee. #4 recieved body massage and all my family recieved leg foot massage. It was refreshing once we finished our massage. 5# You will come back for follow up.

Initially I went in for a 90 minutes massage. However, the older gentlemen made me change it to 30mins because he had started already & it was evidently clear that he has never went to ANYONES school to learn how to be a masseuse! It isnt humanly possible. This was more like torture than a massage. Not only did he not use oil not once but he put hand lotion on my backand repeatedly rammed his elbows in my back! Even after I told him that it hurt, he kept on until I told him to stop. The lady came in and asked me what was wrong and I told her what he did and that it wasnt even a massage and that it hurt. She was like let me finish. I paid $42 for extremely horrible service. Probably one of the most painful 30mins of my life. Enter at your own risk!

Pleasant massage therapists for the couples massage. They were thorough and communicated as best as possible. The front desk lady was welcoming and hospitable. I enjoyed the massage technique and hospitality. If you use your credit card you pay $2 extra so you can walk with cash.

I received the best massage I have ever had here! Staff is always courteous and friendly. Ive been here several times and have had different people massaging me and they all do a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has stiff muscles or just any aches and pains, I promise that you wont have that pain when you leave!

No disclamer or questions about any condition that I may have. They did not ask me what kind of massage I wanted, not even my name. I had no idea when they finished because no one told me it was done. Then they asked me for Cash, what imediately made me think about IRS reporting, and 20% tip...not as a suggestion. It was all very unprofessional. They were very nice. Today I woke up with my left side in pain. I used to do this as profession and have been massaged before by professionals. This is far far away from professional.

They will charge you extra money if you pay with a card! Do not go here by yourself . The massage itself was great but the service is horrible! They made me do a tip. You already have to pay extra money to use your card but they overcharged me and they used my card again days after my massage to charge me $10 more dollars. I definitely won’t be going here again!!

I received a one hour foot massage. It was wonderful and relaxing. The experience unfolds in a room with soft reclining chairs and soft music. I prefer this massage over a full body or back massage. The one hour foot massage is done with a pressure point techniques that relaxes my entire body. During the last ten minutes my arms, shoulders, and neck were massaged. I left feeling like I had been on a long relaxing vacation.

We were in Columbus, GA for the weekend and decided to get a massage. The massage itself was good. No complaints there except they laid paper towel over where you put your face which wasn’t as comfortable as it should be. But the crazy part is when we went to pay, the guy told my husband cash only and took him in his car to an ATM instead of taking our debit card. We weren’t comfortable with that at all and felt at least they could have said cash only when we called to make the reservation. Just be aware something sketchy may be going on there if you go. And bring cash if you don’t want to ride with your masseuse to an ATM.

I will not be returning to this establishment. The men who did my massage was beating so hard in back that I asked him to stop and he wouldn’t . He was very heavy handed . I really wanted to leave but I stayed because I wanted to pay for my service. My total was $50 . Because of him spilling extremely hot oil on my back I did not tip. ( I usually tip but I felt like he did t deserve it .) The front desk lady was yelling at me saying where is the tip. I told her no, and she would not give me my card and cursed me out in her native tongue.

My boyfriend and I both had 20 minute chair massages and really enjoyed it! Prices were very reasonable. They were quick, professional, and kind. Will definitely be back!

If I could 0 I would. This place is a joke. It’s basically a weird rub down. The person who rubbed me kept leaving the room and answering the phone which was very unprofessional. I was originally going to get an hour massage and 30 min foot massage but declined after the hour massage. Once I paid she looked at receipt and said no tip I said no ma’am you kept leaving room and you answered the phone several times. She didn’t apologize instead she was upset nor did she say thank you and have a great day. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK!!!!!

This place is awesome!!! The massage therapists really know what they are doing and apply great pressure. Ive had many massages before but NEVER like this. I was just thinking a body massage . But the deep tissue massage on my back was like nothing I have ever experienced. Wonderful, relaxing and soooo great. I think I will go every week for $60 what a deal.

Overall the place was nice, was treated with a warm welcome. But when I went to pay for a 60$ massage, I was printed off one receipt for 52 and then another for 10. Then was told I had to tip 20%, not going here again

BEST Massage & Foot Massage! I am a holistic practitioner and have had many of the same services around the world. Peter was by far the best and most attentive to my areas of concern by utilizing various modalities. The establishment had great energy, was clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable.I took a card with me and handed it to the front desk at the hotel I was staying at so that they could direct guests to City Life Massage in the future.谢谢Xièxiè

Horrible experience! Walk in, they put you in a room and tell you nothing! The therapist literally did a terrible job. No way they are legit therapist. The massage was awful, no pressure used and did not understand when asking for more. When checking out they hounded me for a 20% tip until I gave it to them. Very bad experience and environment. I will definitely never go back!!!!

WATCH THE TIME! My wife and I go here for a couple massage. It seems ever since the people changed out, the new ones do not know how to tell time. You ask and pay for an hour either foot or body and you only get 50 minutes. This does not include the time they spend out of the room to get stuff. We are now looking for a new place to go. This establishment used to have a 5 star rating from me...so sad. :(

So I been wanting to get these knots out my back. Which didnt happen. At first the service was ok than I realized that the massage therapist was just rubbing my back normally. My husband does a better job I was so unsatisfied. The foot massage was ok. I got the combo pack which is 50 bucks. Not worth it at all. To top it off as I was leaving and getting ready to pay the cashier/therapist she got an attitude when I asked do you guys accept card she shrug her shoulders and was like ugh yes we do . Than as she made the transfer she gave me my receipt so I can sign. As many may know with a debit or credit card. Know the simple process of how to sign a receipt. She was like put 50 here and 10 percent or 20 for tip. I looked at her and was like umm ok. She didnt say if you want to she demanded I was so irritated and surprised at the same time. Like who does this? Luckily it didnt go threw and I paid for what I got which was subpar. Worse massage experience in my life. Beware dont chance it . Pay 70 or 80 for a real massage . Amazing massages. Every time i go they are very nice and do an amazing job . They do require you tip 20% and if you don’t they will chase you out the door.

Stay away! I wanted an hour foot massage, when I walked in, the lady suggested something that cost a little more I said, Okay and tried it. It was a foot massage with a chair massage. It was not relaxing. The guy pressed too hard on my back, spine and hips. When I didnt leave a tip, they wanted to know why, which I thought was poor taste. They then began speaking in their native language, again, POOR TASTE.

Newly Very unprofessional and RUDE. I came for a leg/ foot massage and A CREEPY Asian man that I had never seen there before insisted that I get a body massage. I then insisted on the leg/foot massage I originally asked for and the person that came in after me was told to sit down and I was told to wait 30 min. The place smelled different. I am disappointed.The staff has changed and this is no longer a nice place to get a massage.

The owner guy aggressively approached my car with his heavy terrible accent and just pointed at his sign for his shop. I have my sleeping child with me. I think he was trying to say I couldnt park in that specific spot. Even though there is no signage or anything indicating the specific spot belongs to him or this shop. I wont ever be a patron of this establishment. Thats incredibly rude and aggressive and these people need to learn some basic manners.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY HELD MY WIFES CARD. My wife went there for a message and she said it was terrible, so she went to pay and be on our way. The man kept demanding a tip and would not give her the card. He then got mad and aggressive attempting to snatch my wifes wallet, demanding her Iwatch. I was sitting in the parking lot. My wife called me and I had to go in and get the card. DO NOT GO HERE.

Went there for a couples massage and it was great and we were satisfied. When it was time to pay they were not satisfied with the tip that was given, they demanded more! Will not be returning.

The service was good,but if you pay with your card they charge 2more extra dollars,not cool everyone dont carry cash!!! Also they tried to insist that I tip 8%which wouldnt have been a problem but the guy was 10minutes late and had the door open while my service was being done.

I called a few places last minute and City Life was the only one that fit me in. I got a great massage that lasted the whole hour. The hot rocks thing they do near the end was absolutely fantastic. Ill definitely be going back.

Very good if you want a very firm massage that will leave you sore the next day. Very much like a deep tissue or athletic massage. Not the most relaxing but the prices are nice.

As soon as I walked in I told the guy what I wanted he tried to sell me a different one that was more exspensive I declined then he brought me into the room with reclining chairs it had a funny smell and I noticed strands of hair still left over the chair , the guy who did my foot massage had no customer service skills at all didn’t made me feel comfortable he was rough with the handling of my legs and the entire massage he huffed and puffed like he didn’t want to do my massage by time he was finished I did feel a little more relaxed I paid and left him a tip he didn’t say thank you or bye or even acknowledged me I wont be returning back here the prices are cheap but I’ll rather pay for better service

I love this place. Thank you excellent massages. And they offer cucumber water or lemon water to help Infuse once youre done with your massage.

Guy questioned my tip , very tasteless and unprofessional massage was ok therapist were talking to each other. Won’t be back but not terrible.

It was the first time I went to this store and I was still unsure, but after I went there all my doubts were dispelled. The staff in the store have very good service attitude and good massage skills. There is also a girl named Amy who not only has a very good service attitude , the massage skills are also good, I will go there next time
