Smoke Zone Smoke Shop

There are plenty of head shops in the Short North / South Campus area, but Smoke Zone is my preferred shop for a couple of reasons: the employees here actually know how all of the products work, unlike some other shops (Im looking at you, Hippie Hut), and they have both good prices and a good selection. I also had a problem with a product I bought there once (manufacturers defect, no fault of the shop), and when I went back, they took care of me with no hassle. Check them out.

The folks that work there are awesome. The store is always beautifully organized.

Last stop on this fascinating smoke shop after having difficulty finding the coal type for ma vape, the associate whom ws helping Me had transformed & tremendous experience in customer relations ND beautiful open minded conversation truly helpful in troubleshooting m6 vape ND gadgets I needed, I truly appreciate you #WEST.........keep up the godly attitude as you have me as a loyal ND happy customer. Hope management see the jobs ND excellence continues efforts you put in at the shop........first impressions matter the most yall shop wS neat ND clean as if only royalties shop there !!!

Love them when Im clueless they got me.On top of that they have some of the best bongs in town.

I go in the smoke shop multiple times a week and spend money that I work hard for the first complaint I’ve ever had. They sold me a cart that leaked completely all over $600 dresser. The guy acknowledged that it leaked out and instead of replacing my item, he offered me a discount for defective product that he sold me and ruined my property. Here’s what it looks like do not go there. They are scam artist.

Came in today just looking around and Cameron was a great help! The shop was very clean and had some great pieces.

EVERYTHING I have bought from here has broken. They are NOT interested in helping with broken products or making it right in any way. Their draconian return policy is set up so they are free to scam you. Even when it seems like a perfect good product it will break within a month and you’ll be SOL. Go to literally any other smoke shop before smoke zone!!!!

Always so nice and it may take a few weeks of asking but they’ll get in what you’re looking for if you don’t have it. Always have enough backups to get me through until I get what I want!

Went on 420 after seeing their ad and giveaways. Upon arrival the displayed giveaway sheet was different...after the first hour giveaway they announced the prize would actually be issued in store credit... After prize 3 they announced that prize money must be spent at sticker price (no 420 discounts). The employees didnt even follow the 1 written rule of you must be present 10 min before drawing and two winners happened to just walk in right before the drawing...I was there prepared to hang out all day with 2 others. Regardless of winning we had about a $1000 shopping list we were there to complete. however after all the changes on the fly, I will be taking my business elsewhere. It was all clearly unorganized and unprofessional they were only pushing some future hopes of a delivery service. With this type of service I dont see that going well.

A big thank you to the gentleman at the store today. CBD flower I purchased earlier in the day was quite crispy and burnt incredibly hot upon initial smoke session. It was my fault for not double checking the enjoy by date (Oct, 2024). However, they made things right for me and got me 3.5gs of a flower with a february, 2024 date and the difference is absolutely night and day. This flower is delicious and FRESH.Through the years they have always been kind and given great service. Today cemented me even more as a customer. I despise ever returning a product, but today I absolutely had to. They made it right. They couldve EASILY rejected me seeing as though it is a niche market (CBD). Im grateful. Hats off for top notch cust svc.Thank you!

Very helpful, generous with discounts even though it was discontinued. Extremely knowledgeable. And gave great advice about vape devices. And polite. Always a plus will be back soon as they get the monster fruit ☺️. Would like to know if you have a message board about your new, and restock as well.

I didnt even buy anything here. They unfortunately didnt have the very specific thing I was looking for, but they knew a shop that did. A store recommending a competitor so that your day is just a fraction more smooth is something the world needs more of.

First time at this location. Bought a bong but the pipe came broken. Called ahead to swap pipes out since mine came broken but the owner still made me pay for a second pipe. It kind of through me off since it came tampered with.

I go here A lot literally every 2 weeks sometimes 3 or 4 times a month. I love this vape shot over white horse or any for that matter. They always work with you. And they help you get what your looking for. I’ve never had a problem with this place. There always affordable prices and helpful. I’m always welcomed when I walk threw the door. I’ve been going here for a year. This place is great and the people that’s work there. I love this place

I used to work here. By far the most knowledgeable staff I ever worked with and still when I come back to visit family the team is still that way. They really hire the best. The products and brands they carry are mostly great, like always I suggest you do your research before you purchase. When I was there most things were negotiable too which is always nice.

Was helped by an associate named Avery, he was very knowledgeable about the device I came in for and let me know about a sale coming up in the near future. Very large glass selection and awesome vibe. Will definitely be making this place my go to smoke shop.

Another typical high Street head shop. They most likely have what youre looking for. A notable difference to others in the area would be the fair and honest shop keeper that typically runs the evening shift. I purchased some vape juice and coils. When I got home I realized it was 6mg and I like a 3mg. Went back the next evening with the unopened product and he swapped it out for me with zero hassle. He even remembered me from the night before. Definitely will return and recommend.

First time in and this place is by FAR the elite, crème de la crème of vapor/tobacco shops. Immediately was greeted by a gentleman named Avery & felt comfortable expressing my inexperience with vaporizers. He knew exactly what to show me and recommend, and was very thorough explaining the different models/technology used. He was also able to give me his personal testimony, which from a Company standpoint is incredible, but from a consumer standpoint, I was more inclined to purchase. He was patient and knowledgeable. I went from an Airis 8 (😒👎) to the Puffco Proxy & the travel pack. $30 to almost $400. Avery was the 💣! Will most certainly be back for all my future needs!

The staff was great and the store was nice and open. They had several display cases with a lot of glass items. There was nice flow to the layout. The store was clean and well kept. I would visit again. Pricing was high but I guess it goes with the territory.

I moved here from NJ and knew no smoke shops in the area. Avery has made my experience at this shop so easy and helped me pick out glass, d8, etc. this is the only smoke shop my friends and I go to in Columbus and have told all of our friends because the customer service is unmatched. Best smoke shop in Columbus hands down

This place is awesome. Theyve got everything from 300-400 dollar glass to a legitimate selection of E-juice and such. They also have those little odds and ends you can usually only find at corner stores in sketchy neighborhoods. Pretty much the only place I go if Im downtown!

They peddle defective wares and do not refund/replace. The other shops in the area have much better customer service and are not scammers. Avoid.

Everyone that works here is really nice and informative about their products. I highly recommend them! They have awesome prices on really good Kratom products that are the best Ive seen compared to other smoke shops that overcharge for lower quality leaf. Check them out!

Everytime I come to this spot the employees have been more than helpful. Theyre always very friendly and happy to help with anything/answer your questions. The only downside to this spot is parking and the construction going on outside. But it an awesome enough of a shop to keep me coming back. Definitely check it out.

Ashton is beyond phenomenal I’ve been in here a few times and every single time I come in he’s so friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable and makes the whole experience in the store great 10/10 recommend!

Went in for the 4/20 sales and hourly giveaways, their was one posted rule be their 10 minutes early from the giveaway, not only did the giveaway amounts change from what was advertised in previous weeks some bait an switch, but they allowed people walking in at the absolute last minute to enter handing them a ticket and putting their ticket in the drawing last second seemed rigged when that last person to walk In won 2 out of the 3 giveaways I was their for, and then they wanted to start adding rules about how you could spend the money you won out of no were just seemed very unorganized and like they were pulling new rules out as they went along to make it to their benefit, oh well I’ll stop driving out of my way and go somewhere closer to home

Staff is rude, locks the doors during business hours! When we got in they were openly hostile to anyone looking for a waterpipe or papers. Never go here. The Joint is 5 doors down and theyre amazing. Excellent customer service, half the price of smokezone.

Workers are great in store very helpful. Good high end products with great prices. If you want delta products as well I recommend this place!

Staff was excellent and knowledgeable. Downside is the location is off high street so parking can be very hard depending on the time or day. Nice variety though and convenient hours.

Our new favorite Head Shop on High St!! Great quality- low priced tobacco pipes. Compared to the other vendors on the street. We visited New Years day, they were open to our surprise. The guy in the shop super-friendly and helpful. Got an awesome deal on a pipe and case combo! Nice little place =). Im a happy customer. Will be back next trip to Columbus.

Staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. Items are very reasonably priced and great quality. Staff members are also very good at giving suggestions. Overall a really reliable place!

Have been able to give this a five-star experience if the Vapes that they gave me worked on the first try theyre disposables some of them are just plain dead like they taste burnt no matter what and youll be on your third one testing it out and itll still taste burnt but for the most part most of their Vapes work they have an excellent two for five sale on their butane and you wouldnt believe some of the Raffles that they have

Great glass selection, solid lineup of vape juices and range of products from inexpensive to quite high dollar pieces so something for everybody. The real nice thing is that every person that works there is awesome and pretty knowledable. Great shop.

Lame. Guy working smelled terrible and knew absolutely NOTHING about their stock. Im not a real complainer, but you cant try out the juices and they apparently dont know about them. Why should we buy them?? Glad Im just passing through and never have to return. Cheap price is the only reason Im leaving 2 stars instead of one....

The people are over charging for cheep glass that breaks easy. Not a large selection of hand made glass. Disrespectful when you ask question. Just go down the street to the Joint they have a way better selection of hand made custom glass and it is cheaper.

Incredibly helpful staff. They will talk to you about what your wants and needs are and find stuff you actually want. The prices are great for a brick and mortar location. If you want something now and at good price this a good spot.

Live off campus (around Woodruff) and was on 13th and decided to stop in. Its become my new favorite place hands down! Comparable prices and quality with the best customer service around. There are two guys who work the counter and the one (who now recognises us) goes out of his way to help anytime we have an issue. Writing this review to get the word put and encourage anyone whos interested to stop in.

Better than The Joint, thats for sure!! Well unless youre looking for crack pipes, fish scale, expensive Marlboros & snacks, or stale Nat Shermans. But if you want a good deal on a nice water pipe made by the real manufacturer as advertised, just go here instead.

Limited variety of glass, but a good selection of various styles/designs. Pricing was very generous and even negotiable on certain items. Good experience overall.

Really good prices really friendly staff but theres a couple corks such as the reward system you get a sticker for every $50 you spend you need six stickers to get $10 off but you have to spend $50 or more I feel like you should be able to use the $10 off on any amount

The dude very obviously misled me about a deal that was next week, and when I found out I walked back in two minutes later I walked back in asking for a refund for the pipes that were still wrapped and he refused, claiming he was not “authorized” to give a refund. That’s just wrong.
