I haven’t had a male massage therapist before and was a bit nervous. But then I met Mike, so amazing, so professional. Made me feel very comfortable from the first introduction and throughout the whole experience. Definitely a 5 star experience and I think I just became a regular :)
They were so accommodating and professional! We were planning a very soon bridal spa day and couldn’t find a spa that would accommodate us three together. Vis a vis went above and beyond to accommodate us. The bride was so happy! From the massages to the facials, everything was great! Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for massages and facials. It’s reasonably priced and everyone is so professional and so kind! Thank you again!
I saw Mike today for the first time for a clinical massage. I have a lot of problems with my back and many massage therapists cannot give an effective massage for my specific conditions. He listened carefully, asked lots of questions and was very skilled in his technique in approaching my body and issues. I am excited to continue working with him.
NO FACIALS!! Great massage by Cobi tho. Facials = Zero privacy zero space. 3 of us - not together not friends just seated like an airplane. Discussing allergies and medical needs for all to hear. And literally right in the waiting room. Zero percent relaxing. This is not a spa it is a storefront. Was then asked to stand in lobby between services - too little seating so I just hovered by the door in the way. That’s not what a “spa” is for.
I wish I could give this business a good rating because it did make me want to float. I just didnt get to float here... When I arrived I first followed the instructions and when my butt was sitting on the ground I realized there was an issue. The attendant offered torestart it.. not at all sure what that does. After that didnt work I started paying attention and realized that my pelvis was actually fully submerged and my butt was still on the ground. If I held completely still then this was the only part of me that was on the ground. Thats my float experience, but theres more to it. In no way did they disclose prior to me making a 20 minute drive that their tub was in fact broken and the door didnt close. So I could achieve lightlessness, I couldnt achieve weightlessness, and basically couldnt achieve a float. Having said all that it was a relaxing experience. When I went to shower they didnt have any body wash. This spot is gorgeous and they seem to lack attention to detail.
I went to this SPA yesterday for the first time and want to shout out Massage Therapist Cobi! Besides just a good massage, she addressed my sciatica pain, stretched my hips and I feel so much better today! Highly recommend 🩵
FLOAT TANK IS BROKEN!!!I went today for my first time ever float tank experience, which I have been wanting to do for a long time and I wished I had saved the money for something else. I wanted to get the experience of sensory deprivation with being enclosed in complete darkness. When I tried to close the lid, it wouldn’t budge, so I got out of the tub calling several times through the door for help and was THEN informed that the lid wouldn’t shut. Being totally enclosed in the dark for me is the whole point of the float tank! On top of it I was borderline cold, because my body was partially under (not so warm) water and there was an air current going for about half an hour that left me uncomfortable. The current finally stopped, but I was still cool for the remainder of the time. Had the lid been closed that wouldn’t have happened. Once you get dry the room feels really nice and warm, but not when you are wet.Apparently the lid hasn’t worked in 2 YEARS, as I found out afterwards on the reviews!! How can you still book people without disclosing this?? I had booked online, but the girl that took me in the room never mentioned that before I started. A discount doesn’t make up for this. I told my sister afterwards what happened and she said I should’ve gotten out and requested not being charged, but I don’t like making a fuzz. In hindsight I should’ve done just that.There was a choice between ‘meditation’ music and ‘ocean’ and I had picked the meditation music, which was piano music that just wasn’t conducive to relaxation at all. Unfortunately I would have had to climb out of the tub again to call for help, but decided to leave it. I had booked for 2 hours expecting the ultimate floating experience, but instead was waiting for it to be over.The small shower heads could use cleaning, because they are partially clogged with calcium from the water and the temperature display up top wasn’t working. A part of the wall of the room close to the bottom is ripped open…..you don’t expect that in a place like that.You really need to disclose that the tank isn’t functioning as it should. I read in that review from 2 years ago, that not mentioning the malfunction was ‘just a little slip up’. Covid is over and the repair man should come from England a long time ago. Maybe this is why I got a slight discount at the end, but $126 was still too much to pay. I hadn’t expected that from such an upscale business, but lesson learned……read reviews BEFORE going.UPDATEI just talked to the manager (Amber) and asked why the tank hasn’t been fixed yet and was told that the company in Europe is out of business. I hope that they will disclose the malfunction finally on their website.
First I want to say this was my first ever massage and facial. When I walked inside I was greeted and offered a drink. Elizabeth did my butterfly facial & not did she just make me feel comfortable, but also she did amazing. 10/10 Def going back. When I was done, Mike came & introduced himself to me & walked me to the massage room. He was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable. He is very firm and got all the right areas. He makes sure you feel safe & was also amazing. He sure does know what he is doing! 10/10 The facility is quiet and relaxing. Very clean & nice. Very much going back & recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing self care day!
I recommend no other spa than Vis a Vis!! I only went there because I just moved to Dallas & it was close to my house. They over-delivered on all of my expectations. Their services are great & priced really well. Not only is the staff amazing, but they are extremely knowledgeable. I have not been anywhere else since I started there.
All I can say is … Cobi is a miracle worker. I came in barely able to turn my head, but I’m walking out with more mobility and ready to seize the rest of my day!! Thank you, Cobi and Vis a Vis!!
This place was awesome AND beautiful! The decor is so modern and posh. The staff is amazing. Mr. Alex (the bartender 😉 hehe) was great over the phone and in person. Good with conversations and very very thorough with explaining the float therapy proceedure. Miss Stacey was great with the massage she gave me. Im a social butterfly and love to talk and she accomedated that with a good conversation. She worked out those bolder sized knots as well. Miss Maria was very informative with what she was doing during the facial and how the products will help with my problem areas. That extration was thorough and worth the very slight pain. Im gunna become a regular here. (My smeared eye makeup was removed at the end of the facial)
10/10 I recommend Vis à Vis Day Spa! Booking was simple, consistent communication before my appointment. I walked in and was immediately taken care of. I was told the order of my services which was nice. I started with the green wrap and for my 1st dry brush experience, it was surprisingly a pleasant sensation. After rinsing off the clay, it was time for my facial. The chair was unique! It served as a great pre-massage. I had the fantastic Magic Mike for my deep tissue massage, and it was phenomenal. I told him my problem areas, and he got to work and provided suggestions on how to help in between massages. He was attentive and considerate about what I was comfortable with and the pressure. Highly recommend 👌
My massage with Mike was awesome! He educated me on why I was tense in certain areas and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole time and gave me recommendations for after my session. Will definitely go back.
Amazing on all accounts - the service, the massage and the ambience. My masseuse was Mike (also known as Magic Mike - presumably due to the supernatural level of how good his massages are), he is very talented and specifically tailors the massage to fit your needs. I play tennis and he was knew exactly which areas to target to help relieve a lot of tension. Left feeling great. 10/10
Float tank was broken. Lid wouldn’t close. Unclean. Nothing was as described on the website. Still had to pay full price after such an uncomfortable experience. Couldn’t control lighting or music. Cold the whole time. NOT AS DESCRIBED.
I literally could not be happier to leave this review. I had a first visit to Vis a Vis today and did a facial with Lizzy and deep tissue massage with Mike. This was a HEAVENLY experience. My facial was done at the facial bar and I got to enjoy a massage chair throughout my session. My skin is glowing! I appreciate that my service was not accompanied by pushing new facial products. Lizzy checked in on my skin concerns and got right to work. She gave some really helpful general suggestions on exfoliants or acids that could help with some concerns. My deep tissue massage with Mike is literally the best massage I have had in my entire life. Mike checked in on my areas of concern, and I appreciated that throughout the entire session he checked in to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. He is so gifted! I’ll be returning and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I accept that this is a problem they are trying to fix. What I dont accept is that they they are still allowing people to book the service and not informing them that the tank is broken.I dont usually leave reviews. But I booked a Float Therapy hour. Took a shower. Laid in the tank....and the top never closed. Got out. Showered again got dressed and went out...the manager very casually let me know that the tank is broken.They said absolutely no refund because someone should have told me that the tank is broken.... I suppose my donation can go to fixing their tank 🤷
First time at this spa. Won’t be returning.I did the sensory deprivation tank and did not have a good experience.The water in the tank smelled like mildew and I never saw the water get changed out prior to me using, not sure if it did or not but it did smell like mildew which I had never had happen before.The water never warmed up in the tank so I was in cold water the full hour. The foam earplugs they provide are cheap. Went through 3 packs of ear plugs during my hour session due to ear plugs becoming loose after soaking in the water. The two front desk receptionists were nice and apologetic
I had an excellent Pure de Jour service in October, which is why I booked the same service with them today, but my experience was very disappointing.1) The 80 min service was wrapped up in 60 mins2) I have sensitive skin, and she was not at all gentle, even when I told her the pressure was too high.3) The staff kept chitchatting right behind me so it was impossible to relax. To add onto it, the massage chair kept punching me in my back bcz she couldn’t tune the intensity at first4) The routine was totally different from the last time with no explanation - I dont even know if she gave me the right service, because it now suddenly includes a jelly mask and no oxygen infusion??5) The staff was so courteous back in October, but this time they just didn’t seem to care enough - They didnt even offer me water or ask if the service was okay, total 180 from the last time I went there.I thought I had found the perfect place for regular facials, but now I wonder if I will ever go there again, since I dont feel value for money spent.
Mike was AMAZING! I felt like a wet noddle when he was done! He such a great communicator and made attention to my concerns. 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome experience. I did the float, deep tissue and wrap. I loved it all. I had wine from the time I came in till the time I left as well. It was so relaxing. This was my first time at a spa and I will never forget. I even got to get the Swedish massage for a few mins before my next activity just because I was done early and had to wait. They were still generous and just very customer focused which is what I value. Thank you Vis a vis. Definitely will be back soon. If I had to say a small thing maybe and its not a big deal but in a sense it is. May I request like padding for large breasted women when getting deep massages, the padding with the holes, to put our breast in. Laying on our stomach like that for a while smashes the breast and it hurts. But THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT, just a suggestion. I LOVED my experience and will be back soon
I had a Deep Tissue massage back in July with Mike. I told him I was having issues with sciatic pain. This was the most amazing and beneficial massage I have ever had. 6 months later and I still have no sciatic pain. He also made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I planned to come for just cupping to treat my shoulder and neck pain, but after explaining allll my problems to Mike he suggested a full body massage in addition to the cupping. He was very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole massage. I will be back soon! I love it here staff if always very friendly as well.
My husband booked three facials for my friends and I on my 50th Birthday. From the get go, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The facials were heavenly. Our faces were dewy, rejuvenated, and looked amazing! The wine the staff offered us was of great quality. My friends were equally as satisfied as I was. Special love to Jenn, who asked the necessary questions and gave me one of the best facials that Ive ever had. I am in love with this spa and the services they offer with hydrodermabrasion and oxygen infusion facials. It has done wonders for my acne prone skin. I usually get one every 6 weeks and it is a pure blissful experience for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The massage chair is an added bonus. McKenzie is great! I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.
We love this place so much that we have made it a yearly occasion to visit them especially for our birthdays. Starting from the front desk staff who are lovely as soon as you come in, promptly checking you in, offering us wine, and going over the services. We don’t ever ask for the same people for our massages or facials so every single person we have been assigned has done a great job. Asking every step of the way about the comfort level or answering any question. The facilities are clean and the environment is soothing and relaxing. Highly recommend them :) check them out!

I showed up for my massage appointment and they were running a little behind. Didn’t matter- they treated me like I was the only person in the place offering me wine, a massage chair, & a facial mask or foot treatment on the house while I waited. Then Claudia gets me for my massage and proceeds to give me the best massage I’ve ever had (& I’ve been to some of the well known places in Dallas). She, hands down, surpassed them all. I agreed to her incorporating stretching and I’m so glad I did. I rarely do reviews but I’m actually writing this review after just leaving because Vis a Vis deserves all the credit & more for the incredible job they’re doing. Thank you all for a wonderfully relaxing evening for this tired healthcare provider!!
My husband and I had a great time at this spa. The ambiance was very nice. Relaxing and very upscale. You can tell the owner put a great deal of effort on covering all bases! The float tank was the biggest we’ve ever seen! The float/massage combo was the perfect option for our needs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to wind down and relieve some stress! This is definitely our new spot for pampering!
Today, my god mother and I went for the Louvre package as a treat. Neither of us had been to a spa and did not know what to expect. Boy.... IT WAS INCREDIBLE. The entire facility was gorgeous and serene. They took active measures to sanitize for COVID without sacrificing quality service. Lincoln was an absolute doll. He considered my needs, asked questions, and answered mine. My god mother has neck issues from a previous surgery and her young lady was so gentle while working out her soreness. We chose the green wrap and i loved it. The thermal blanket did get a bit toasty but I enjoyed it. The float tank was amazing and the shower was a dream. However, I do not think I would do it for an hour as 30 minutes was perfect for us. The facial itself was so relaxing and my skin already seems so much happier. I cannot wait to go back for another day of massages and facials. Thank you for a wonderful and much needed day of relaxation. You have a customer for life!
I tried the float and massage combo. It was my first time floating. Everything was absolutely seamless and easy from booking all the way through the service delivery! Staff were very helpful and attentive before and during the appointment. I started with a massage by Lincoln which was AMAZING!!! I am an athlete and really appreciated his experienced approach to body work, and he gave great stretching recommendations to help me as well. There was a short delay in the float tank being ready, but the staff didnt miss a beat! They had me wait in one of the facial bar massage chairs so I could keep getting pampered while the float tank was prepared. The float experience was a definite highlight. Just an incredible experience overall. I cant wait to go back!! Highly recommend this spa and the float and massage combo!

This was my first time visit and I loved it! Lincoln was my masseuse and he did an incredible job. As soon as you walk into the Spa you are greeted by their lively staff who offer you a beverage and have you sit next to calming oil diffusers. The ambiance is very relaxing and gets you excited for your service. I would recommend to others and I am definitely coming back.
I will definitely be a returning customer. This was the first time I’ve ever had a facial, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. They were very nice and professional on the phone and in person too. I picked the facial for acne, my esthetician was Jenn. She was very sweet. And I appreciated that she would check on me throughout it, because there’s a couple things that are a little pokey throughout this specific facial. And the massage chair is literally a dream. It’s super relaxing and was a nice surprise. Would 100% recommend.
I had a very long week and built up a lot of tension in my back. I called at about 7:30 PM and was able to get a massage at 9 PM the same day. Danielle gave me a Swedish massage, and it was a great experience. She accommodated my preference on the room temperature and really made me feel welcomed. I spoke with the owner for a few minutes before the massage, and he is very pleasant. Altogether, this is a great place, managed with professionalism and pride in the product. Thanks guys.
Myself and my two daughters went here for a girls weekend spa day. I would say we had a good experience and the staff was very nice. The only part we didn’t enjoy was the facial. The massage chairs were not comfortable at all. It was almost painful. I asked to turn mine down, but actually should have turned it off. It is in a very small space too, which made it awkward.
Between my desk job and weight lifting regimen, my body is always full of knots. I’ve gotten deep tissue massages before, but nothing has even come close to Mike’s. I got the relief in my muscles that I’ve been looking for. He’s super knowledgeable and has a more tailored approach than anyone I’ve been to. I will definitely be going back!

Oh! my what can I say. My experience was beautiful, the set up was nice and the personnel was wonderful. It was my first time experiencing the package that my spouse purchased for me and they walked me through all the steps. The temperature of the spa was excellent. I had no trouble maneuvering around in the place. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. This will be my new spot for relaxing every time I come to Dallas. I had a wonderful facial service with Flor. She was very knowledgeable and her facial massage was amazing. Flor was welcoming and attentive to my needs and wants. The products were super effective on my acne prone skin. I will be coming back every time I’m in town, I’m very impressed. All the other staff I met were very professional and welcoming as well.
This was our second visit to Vis a Vis. What a wonderful experience. Mackenzie is the best! Such a sweet and caring esthetician. She asked what our skin concerns were and tailored out facials to address those needs. When asked what we could do to help our concerns at home she explained what we needed for our daily routines. So helpful! We will definitely come back to see her again! Make sure when you book an appointment ask for Mackenzie, you will leave with glowing skin and the feeling you have found a esthetician who cares.
So I booked for a party of 4. 3 of us got the zero gravity float. They failed to inform us this machine was broken. Two of girls were forced to do this together when it was requested to do alone. There was one small shower that didn’t even fit both people and the tub didn’t either. The girls did not bring swim wear to do this together. They told them this and said there was no other option. Eventually, they offered one person a facial instead. Honestly, she lucked out switching to the facial, given the machine was broken. We all found out once we got in the room and they told us. They didn’t offer anything else. Their guy was in “England” so he couldn’t fix the machine. Honestly, I would’ve just picked something else but we didn’t get that option. We had to use the broken float in a cold room. Someone walked in during one of the sessions as well.The massage started after 1pm but ended promptly at 2pm. Other than the timing, the massage was good. I was taken for my scrub where one of the girls got an excellent guy that made her experience awesome. I got my scrub brushed on instead of massaged on. Then I had to shower myself while the other girl got hot towels too after her scrub.
The price point and service are great. I received a facial and my husband received a massage- and we together did the float experience. My husband raved about his massage- Colbi was great and really did deep tissue as it should be. The four stars is really for the set up of the spa. I did not like that my facial was not in a separate room, and although there is a current it does not create true separation from the front desk. You could also hear all the street noise outside, which made it hard to relax. My husband did say his massage was very quiet. The reception area is not really separated from the facial bar area, which makes it a bit weird to move around in
I had a great customized facial experience with Isabel. The staff was very friendly and I was able to get an appointment on short notice. Isabel was very knowledgeable and took my skin care needs into great consideration. Only thing I didnt like was that my facial was not in a private room, however it was still very quiet and relaxing. I will definitely be returning.
I seriously wont go anywhere else. I came here for the first time for my birthday in Feb of 2020 and had an amazing experience. I came out so relaxed with absolutely no anxiety or worry. I came back again in May and had an equally great experience. Im always very weary of spas and how much the charge and what you actually get out of the experience. Most places charge you for the service and nice environment but no real results of problems you have listed. I dont have this issue with Vis a Vis. I just booked my appointment for today! I also love that they close at 10p, perfect for people who work late, and also you can go straight home and go to sleep after a relaxing session! Love love this place!
I came here for a 60-minute massage and a 60-minute float session.Before the massage, I indicated on the pre-massage evaluation sheet that I would like the massage therapist to focus on my legs (I wrote specifically quads, hamstrings, calves, and glutes) since Im a runner and training for a marathon. My massage therapist Ace went on to basically give me a 45 minute back massage and then 5 minutes on the back of the legs before another before flipping over and another 10 minutes on my shoulders. When he told me our time had ended, I couldnt believe it. He had not even touched the front of my legs AT ALL. Not once. Thats not a full-body massage, and not remotely near what I indicated on the pre-massage evaluation. Whats the point of filling out an evaluation sheet and indicating where I need the most work done if its not even going to be considered?The 60-minute float was relaxing and a cool experience, but still not enough to make me come back here again.
My massage was amazing! The masseuse was so good at straightening out the knots. My back feels so much better. I did the facial + massage package; the facial was okay. My face definitely feels cleaner after extraction! Website says $15 for extraction add on but I was charged $20
On my first visit I did the sensory deprivation tank and got a deep tissue massage from Rubin. The owner and staff were super nice and helpful. The massage from Rubin was one of the best I have ever gotten. He knew where my issues were without me saying a word. Definitely will go again. Top rate service.
I am so happy that I found this gem on google. I did the ménage a trois package (float therapy, contour wrap and massage) with an added petite facial today and I have nothing but positive things to say. First off, the front desk was amazing and kind - always a huge plus! The float therapy - I will be back for that, for sure! Maria was amazing with the wrap and my facial. She was gentle and took the time to figure out what my poor face needed help with. My massage was to die for. Chris worked out so many knots and kinks on my shoulders and back, and he did it with patience and focus. The whole experience was more than I could have asked for! My visit was on Feb. 20th. It was my first experience at a day spa. My aesthetician was Maria. She was great. She helped me feel relaxed while she gave me a facial. I also had a body scrub, which made me feel fresh and relaxed. Complimentary glass of wine was a nice perk. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely return.
I booked six services for 2 people. Each of us to separately have a 30 min float, a petite facial and a 15min chair massage. Our times started at 12:15 and 12:30 each. Then the following services thereafter. There was a 15min+ scheduled between each service.I called the morning of and let them know they could arrange the services as they needed as long as we each got all 3 and our times ran between 12:15 and 3. They thanked me and said theyd would arrange them for the best experience. That turned out to be a joke.We hit a major traffic accident in our way into the city from our homes over an hour away. We called and texted to let them know. They said there was no worry.When we got here at 12:45 they said we would only have time to each do a float and each do a 25 minute massage instead of the 15 minute chair massage. But they would be unable to accommodate the facials. We said we understood because we were 30 minutes late. I did a float first my friend, did her massage first. When we were both finished with our first treatment we were informed that that was it. but they did not have time to do my massage or her float. But even though I still had times booked but they had given those times away. The woman was incredibly unprofessional. when we mentioned that is not what they had told us when we came in she lied to my face and said that is exactly what she said. She said I must have misunderstood her. Considering that she asks what type of music Id want in the float and I said rain and she asked if I wanted thunder and I said yes but instead I heard minstrels which I assume is the meditation mix; Im thinking shes the one who had the hearing problem. I really wanted to love this place. The float bar in the music was fantastic. My friend said her massage was great! Customer service and front desk attendants awful Specifically, Flor Aguilar.
I had a prenatal massage from Colbi, and she was just so amazing!!!! Not only was she professional, she was accommodating and understanding. I was running late due to traffic and weather, and she was just so polite about it. Her massage was equally as wonderful as her charisma! I fell right to sleep, and I NEVER fall asleep during a massage. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked in until the time I left. The front desk staff were very sweet, and accommodating as well. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a relaxing experience with an awesome staff. Make sure to ask for Colbi!!!!
Mike gives a great massage. I felt a lot of relief after a massage with him. The two massages I had prior with other techs I cannot say the same. I ended up leaving with no relief. That’s why I am giving 4 stars.5 stars for Mike4 for the salon in general
I got a massage and facial as gift and absolutely loved my experience!! So much so that I have gone back multiple times to try more of their services. The staff is wonderful and the scheduling is so easy.The place is very calming and I feel relaxed every time I walk in the door.I definitely recommend this place!
I LOVE Vis a Vis! The staff is always so friendly when Im there. Ive gone for a variety of different services (massage, wrap, facial, & lashes) and every single service has been amazing! The owner, Alex, is so nice and always answers my million questions. Lincoln has been doing my lashes for over a month now and Im obsessed! So knowledgeable and doesnt get annoyed when I ask him the same lash-care questions every other time I come. LOL. I highly recommend them for your next spa visit!
This was an incredible experience. My husband and I had a mini spa day at this facility and loved everything about it. It was easy to get to, the facility was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful and I had one of the best massages of my life. Absolutely will go back if we are in the area again!!
I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage with Matt. I have received massage services from many places, but this topped them all! Matt was incredibly professional and the massage was extremely effective at relieving my neck and back tension. The spa is beautiful, service is friendly, and they gave me complimentary wine. I also really appreciated that I was able to book a next-day appointment. I would absolutely recommend!
I visited the studio for a manicure and I loved it! I arrived 10 minutes too early, but instead of just waiting, I got a drink and could relax in one of those fantastic massage chairs.. wonderful! The studio is nice and clean, the staff very friendly and Maria was amazing! I will definitely come back!
I love this place. Ive been in many massage parlors. This parlor is by far one thats a keeper and will definitely return. 1. Staff were super nice. 2. Lincoln the masseuse wow, not only was he nice and friendly, but his hands oooo, it went places. Get your head out the gutter lol. However, lets just say I went to sleep while I was getting a massage. His hand is so soft but firm at the same time. He paid well attention to my chart and my area of concerns. His voice was soft as he woke me up. Ahhhhh. I loved the experience and will definitely be back.
Really nice staff and decor very posh. Did float therapy and Got an acne facial which were both pretty good. Caught a bad case of swimmers ear after the float so be careful about that. My only complaint is you get your facial right in front where the reception desk is so you’re not completely relaxed bc there’s naturally conversation and things going on and you’re just right there behind a sheer curtain which was weird and kind of annoying to me. But the facial was good and the zero gravity massage chair is to die for
Gabriella did my waxing services and it was the BEST Ive ever had. Ive had to go to a lot of places to find the right person to do my eyebrow and lip waxes and never found them, but Gabriella is definitely my person for this and wont go to anyone else now that she has started in the industry. Also one of the sweetest people youll meet, so I definitely highly recommend her for all wax and spa services.
Was able to book a same day massage appointment at this spa and customer service was incredible! They gave me a courtesy call when other appointments canceled to give me an option to move mine up, received complimentary wine in the lobby, and the massage therapist (Ace) was a miracle worker with relieving my neck & shoulder pain!
Shelby did my facial--she is amazing! Id recommend her to anyone. Ive had facials from several places over the years, and this was the first time that I really felt like my esthetician paid personal attention to my skincare needs--during the appointment and when she offered suggestions for cleansing/moisturizing at home. The spa is very nice and accommodating from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave.
Lincoln was wonderful! He is so kind and considerate and made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is nice and calm, and the massage room is quiet as well. The prices are also reasonable, so I can’t wait to go back again!
I visited last weekend. Overall, the experience was great. Parking in the garage was very easy and free (the visit was short and during designated non-fee time). My one complaint would be that I arrived on time, yet I did have to wait longer than expected for my massage because some booking issue led to there not being an available massage room at the time my appointment was set for. Despite that, I truly enjoyed my experience and the staff was very apologetic regarding the delay. I will be returning soon for sure!

Im only giving a 4 because when I called and asked for the lowest price on the massages, the lady I talked to gave me the $75 option for 50-60 minutes when there was a lower price for less time (which I preferred) but since I already booked it, I found out that I wasnt able to change it anymore. It was the same for the facial. I asked for the lowest price but she booked me the highest price which was $140 for the costomized facial. I get in the salon and I thought I could change facial in a lower price but I wasnt able to. It was also my fault since I did not look at the menu they offer prior to booking.Anyways, upon arrival they offered us drinks and the staff was very nice and helpful. The overall experience was outstanding. Maria, who did my face was very helpful. I would go to this salon again.
Let’s me begin with my facial was good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I’m used to when I get facials that while I’m getting a mask, I should be getting a hand, foot or head massage. I had three mask. Ten minutes a piece and just sat there. Maybe that’s the policy, but I feel like when you’re paying for a service then you should feel like you get what you pay for. What bothered me the most was I arrived early. Probably 30-40 minutes. The receptionist (so I thought) greeted me. I told her I was early and asked if there was any additional services I could pay for to kill the time. I sat in the massage chair ( which was nice), but for 30 minutes. She made and received phone calls ( business related) during that time while I waited. She was the one to do my facial. I’m annoyed because she put off the paying customer standing in front of her to do other stuff that could have easily been done after I left. Just didn’t sit right me.
If you’re looking for an amazing spa experience, this is it! I go to Maria for facials and laser hair removal - she is absolutely AMAZING! I’ve only had one massage so far but it was fantastic! And the massage chair while you wait is unbelievable! 😍😍😍 I can’t wait to come back!
I came to Vis à Vis for a Valentines couples massage. Neena was wonderful with the booking process and made me feel immediately at ease. Once I arrived Alex took instant care of us offering wine, water or soft drinks. Needless to say, the massage and facials we received were phenomenal!!! Excellent service and they truly care about their clients. I had such a great experience the first time that I had to come back for a mani/pedi! Melanie did my nails (as well as my facial before) and she is a ray of sunshine!! I never write reviews but I will for superb service! Thank you Vis à Vis Spa! You now gained a loyal client!
My boyfriend and I get a couples massage every few months. We decided to try going here last weekend because we wanted to try the float tank. It was booked all weekend though, so we got our typical 80min Swedish couples massage. I really enjoyed mine. My boyfriend did not. He was actually more tense afterwards because his therapist did such a poor job. I tried reaching out to the spa several times via email and phone call. I never got a response. And mind you, I was satisfied with my own massage, his is the one that was poor. This was a new situation for us, I didn’t ask for a refund or for my money back. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked what they could do about it. Nothing. No response. Not even a generic apology.Really bummed about the experience I had as a customer here.
The ambiance and the customer service was great. My massage was good, however, the male was touching areas I said I didn’t want massaged and it made me uncomfortable. The facial was ok but she didn’t thoroughly get the residue off my face. For the last 3 days later, my skin has been peeling (I thought it was dry skin, but, it wasn’t) and very itchy. I didn’t pay for a chemical treatment, jst a 30 min facial and my skin is suffering from the facial. Unfortunately, I will have to start going somewhere else.

I was looking for a last minute massage/facial after a really rough move to Dallas! It was a Sunday and this group was over the top amazing! I was hysterical and a wreck from the move and my past life. Sloan and Deadra (Sp?) were so incredible to me! I recommend highly! Im even booking another massage from their zero gravity chairs for a girlfriend and myself less than a week later!
Vis a Vis Spa is a wonderful place to experience a day of comfort and relaxation. Durning my recent visit, I scheduled a 1 hour float session and a facial. The floatation tank is one of the best tanks I have ever used, and one of the newest tanks on the market according to the staff. Its much larger than any tank I have used in the past and allows for a more relaxing experience because of the extra room it provides. The room its located in is quiet and spacious, and the convince of having a shower in the same room is a real plus. My facial experience was rejuvenating and relaxing, and the massage chairs and hot towels were enough to almost put me to sleep. If youre in the Dallas area, I highly recommend visiting Vis a Vis Spa for a day of relaxation.
The moment I walked in I fell in love with the place. The location, decor and ambiance were spot on and the staff immediately offered me the beverage of my choice right down to my temperature preference of water. I got a facial and back facial from Maria that was just wonderful. She was so pleasant and accommodating and fun to talk to. I highly recommend Maria and Vis a Vis. 5+ stars!
I was working 80+ hours a week for over 3 months which led to extreme neck and shoulder pain. Luckily I found Jacob at Via a Vis! He really helped relieve my discomfort and was so knowledgeable. I had about 6 visits with him and he was great! The staff is very kind as well. Great customer service!
I went for a wax and Maria Cano was amazing! It was painless and she is great at keeping you calm and relaxed. It was a wonderful experience. Additionally, the service and staff was exceptional. The guy at the front desk (didnt catch his name) is very knowledgeable and pleasant. Im definitely going back for additional services!
Lets start by saying I do not normally write reviews but my experience today has deemed me to do so. My husband purchased me 3 services for my birthday and post pregnancy gift. I am so disappointed that he spent the money on this spa. The massage therapist did an average job for a 80 minute massage. Then I went to get my pedicure and the massage therapist started to have tension. The manicurist was rough and didnt do the full service that was paid for. They then tried to get me to pay $22 for gel Polish on top of the $33 manicure my husband already paid for. I said you mean to tell me you are wanting me to pay $55 for Polish and filing of my nails??? The receptionist apologized and said the owner/manager would call and I have yet to hear back. The massage therapists then finished their session and were complaining in the lobby about each other. Very unprofessional and I am very upset that I didnt get to enjoy my spa day without my 2 month old the way my husband in vision ed jt for me.
Ive been coming to this spa since it opened. Ive never been disappointed by anything Ive received here. Ive gotten my make up done multiple times and its always flawless! The nail tech is very detailed and strives for nothing less than perfection. The massage? Well lets just say I cant go without one every two weeks.
This review is just for the ‘Float Therapy’. The woman working at the desk was very nice.This shouldn’t be allowed. Just take float therapy out of your business. It’s a joke. The photos on the website are stock photos, and incredibly different from the reality. It’s described in their website as spacious, with cunning edge technology. This is a complete farce.It’s gross. The room was covered in salt. It was the smallest float tank I’d ever been in, the door was incredibly loud and shakey, and the room outside was loud too. Inside the tank was cramped and smelled weird. Not only that, the water was itchy. I have no allergies, and I’ve floated in many different places, dozens of times.Do yourselves, and others a favor, take this old garbage tank to the dump. Take float therapy off your website, and refund my $130.

I booked a 60 (50) min Swedish massage with Mia. Aaaamaaazing!!!! I loved Jessica! She made me feel very comfortable and did an excellent job on my Brazilian. She explained the wax she was using and gave me suggestions for after care. Everyone there was great with customer service and offered me refreshments. Already made my next appointment!

Used a groupon for a 1.5 hour swedish massage with a friend, and I would have to say, Its worth it. We ended up being 30 minutes late but the lady at the front desk, Nina, was super nice about everything, telling us to relax and not to worry that we were late, although we had to settle for the 1 hour massage instead. She offered us wine and beverages, but I stuck with the water since its important to stay hydrated before/after a massage. My masseuse was Brenda, who was friendly and gave a tranquil vibe and definitely made me feel comfortable right when I met her. She puts a good amount of a pressure and seems to know where the knots and sore places are located. She tells you in the beginning before the massage to tell her to change the pressure or any specific areas that need focus, although the massage could have used a little more oil. Other than that, 5 stars. The reason I needed a massage is because Im in town for a couple of months studying for my board exams at a review course and Im sitting all day and sore from working out. Coming here helped me relax and I just rescheduled another appointment for next week.
How does this place have a 4.6 rating?I arrived at 4:50 for my 5:00pm appointment only to be told that the prior appointment was running 15 minutes behind. I was curious if this was due to a walk in or if the customer arrived late, and in either case they should have informed the customer that they only had availability up until xyz time due to scheduled appointments. The front desk girl proceeds to tell me that things are behind because the customer “took a longer shower than expected.”A bit unprofessional to share that not just with me but with the other customers in the lobby. She then offers water and wine. First, stop making up for customer service deficiencies with alcohol. Secondly, without knowing what exactly a “long shower” means, this boils down to a poor scheduling cadence. Extra buffer time could have been accounted for and it wasn’t.My appointment did not start until 5:30. Finally, I get back to what I can only assume used to be a coat closet that was lazily converted into a massage room with TWO tables. The therapist was constantly shuffling around like the matrix as he rotated from each side. No where to hang your clothes, just have to throw them on the extra table. And on top of that, literally, the wet wash clothe used to clean my feet was just tossed on my clothes. Unintentional I’m sure, but my wet t-shirt could have easily been avoided if the room only housed one table and simple wall garment hooks were available. It should also be noted that the room itself smelled musty, almost like it had just been painted.The massage experience itself was mediocre. I get on the table and honestly questioned if I was on a wooded table simply draped with a sheet and blanket. It was awful, but I put my hair in a bun and went with it. The therapist comes back in and first thing he asks “can I take your hair down?” I thought it was a strange question especially since we had just discussed during the consult that I did not want my scalp/hair touched, and made sure to specifically call that out on the checkin paperwork. So no, I don’t want you to take my hair down. Ten minutes in, what does he do, removes my hair tie! I promptly ask for the rubber-band so I can put it back up. I don’t have short hair, it runs to the middle of my back. Why so much focus on having my hair down? At that point I should have scrapped this fiasco and left. I don’t know if the therapist was a bit of a rookie or what, but he lacked any sort of finesse in the sequence of movements and transition. And frankly was a bit too invasive along my gluteal area, and not along the perimeter region. At one point I was lying there (on my stomach) completely exposed. I did eventually speak up about it. The temperature of the scolding wax needs to be evaluated as well. After making two attempts, letting it cool for a couple of minutes, I was able to safely put my hands in the wax. Just wait, it gets better, he didn’t even let it completely harden. So when he separated my hands and the bag, it was an actual hot mess of solid and liquid wax. I’ve had this service performed many times at the nail salon and have never experienced something so sloppy. Nonetheless, I walked away with more stress than I did when I walked in. 80 minute Swedish, followed by a 25 paraffin hand wax should have completed at/around 7:15. Right? Finish time was 7:02To those searching for your next massage, keep searching.
I’ve been here before to use their float tank and had a great experience, but this time I went for a massage and my therapist exceeded my expectations! Cobi focused on my problem areas and really went to work. I walked in with painfully tight shoulders and neck and she really took her time to relieve my pain. This was probably the best massage I have had and I will definitely ask for Cobi for all future visits!
I usually do not post reviews but this one was much needed. I came in today for an appt with my mother to honor her for mothers day. We drove two hours for this(4 total if you include the trip back). We were booked for two facials and two massages. The facials are done in an open area behind a curtain and you can constantly hear people talking/laughing at the front desk. Not relaxing at all. I received the clean sheer facial with added extractions due to clogged pores on nose and esthetician recommendations. This was an additional fee. I noticed during the service that the extractions seemed limited. When I viewed my face after, my nose still presented with plenty of clogged pores that Id asked be extracted. When i questioned the esthetician she told me oh we only do a few at a time, I got a few of the ones on top. I was not pleased with this response and that should be discussed prior to the service. I honestly felt ripped off at what I considered a professional establishment. I spent over $400 dollars at this spa today and I am not pleased with the facial services. The massage was nice with polite masseuse.
My husbands bday was on yesterday we came down from Mississippi to celebrate and was told to check this place out for our very first massage together. Stephanie and Ruben were great. My husband was very pleased and we were suggested on tips to help with tensions in our bodies. When we do return to Dallas we definitely will be returning for a longer period too😍
Maybe my 5th time visiting. I always get the acne adieu facial w/ Maria. She’s knowledgeable and very sweet. They serve complimentary wine & water as well. Small place means it’s more intimate. Will continue visiting. Good body massages too :)
I got a groupon for a 90 minute swedish massage and it was the best decision ive made all week. The environment was very clean and friendly and my masseuse, Matt, was PHENOMENAL. Its the first massage from a guy Ive ever had and there is no going back, he got all my knots out and made me feel very comfortable, I felt like a noodle when I left! The facility exceeded my expectations by a landslide and have already recommended this place to all of my friends. I will definitely be investing in monthly massages and if you value your me-time I would highly recommend that you do, too!
There are no spa amenities like a steam room, whirlpool or lounge yet the prices are still quite high. My facial was great, however it’s done in the open in the main salon rather than in a private room, which was interesting. My masseuse seemed either new or just didn’t want to be there, leaving me in a dark room with no water or goodbye when it was over. It was a bit odd.
Stacy was my massage therapist. I had been in pain for so long and with one session I cant describe how much better I felt. Sadly because of my schedule I havent been able to return. I did the float tank, unfortunately they didnt bother taking hair out so that was disappointing but I really enjoyed it overall. I just wish the room wasnt so cold for the float tank because it made it less enjoyable than what it could have been.Overall great experience, will return only because stacy was that great of a therapist thank you!
My boyfriend and I visited over the weekend for a couples massage. Deborah and Dana did amazing jobs! Deborah even suggested things to do at home on my own to help with knots in my back. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff was friendly and the wine was quite tasty and an added bonus. We both look forward to next time.
I got a groupon for a 30 minute facial and now I am hooked!Not only where they accommodating with me having to change my appointment at the last minute, but the facial was incredible. Having it been my first facial and with super sensitive skin, I was a bit leary. However, the esthetician made sure not to use any harsh products and was very careful to ask many questions before so that there were would be any issues. My skin looked glowy and felt refreshed all day even though it was incredibly windy out! I am going to go back once every month to have the petite facial - I am sold!
I wasnt given the warm cozy welcome and wrap for my neck that I expected from reading other reviews. The person giving my massage never introduced herself to me. She just called my name and took me to the room. She didnt appear friendly to me. I wasnt very comfortable with her. So I just tried to make the best of it. She did talk to me a little during the massage. I was given her name as I was checking out and making another appt. I didnt want to use her again and she didnt work on weekends so that worked out fine. I didnt like the massage..I didnt get a full body massage that I am accustomed to. I always have focal points that I need more attention to. However, all the places Ive visited in the past over the years, have always given me that full body treatment first then work on the focal points. I was attracted to this place because of the flotation device that I didnt get to use because I wasnt aware of all the medical clearances u need before getting into it until I arrived. I think that info should be mentioned before you make an appt. I actually made my appointments over the phone so they should have mentioned the exceptions for the flotation. I told them that upon checkout so hopefully they will take the advice to better help the clients choose the right service to avoid over or under scheduling issues. The guy that checked me out was very nice!The little that I saw of the building itself looked very nice. I may visit again.

Service was good, friendly staff and fair pricing. I would return if I lived in area. The reason I dont give a perfect 5 stars is the room for couples massage was small, the lady messaging my wife was basically rubbing up on me because there was no room between tables for her to work. Not something I expect when Im trying to relax. Also the sheets on the table were extremely wrinkled and not 5 star worthy preparation.
I’ve come to Maria Cano for facials over the last few months on a regular basis and I think she’s the best! She communicates well - listens to your concerns, seems very knowledgeable and offers advice! I always leave feeling good and watch my skin transform over the next few days after my service. Highly recommend!
Was my first ever spa experience. Greatly enjoyed the float therapy as I felt like I was literally floating in air. Maria ,I think was her name, was so wonderful with my facial, I actually fell asleep during the facial for a while. Will greatly consider visiting again.
I booked a float and massage combo and was very pleased. I highly recommend the float chamber if you havent tried it. As far as the massage, Stacy Wall is absolutely the best. I have been to different resorts and had countless massages, and Stacy is by far the best I have ever experienced.

The deep tissue massage was wonderful! The facial was incredible! The chair that I sat in for the facial was heavenly! I went there during my birthday week back in May. I recommend these people very highly!
Easy to find, plenty of parking inside garage.Friendly staff, clean facilities.The ambience was relaxing.Miss Nina made sure I was well informed on how to use device.loved the privacy and they have everything shampoo,lotion,robes etc.Inside the floatation pod I relaxed into a meditative state .Within 10 minutes my body started feeling amazing! And Ill add I had gone to doctors earlier that day for me knees.Spent hours and left without relief.At Vis a Vis I spent 60 minutes and the pain reduced by atleast 80 percent! I loved it so much I purchased one of their very affordable packages.Not mention my daughter received a relaxing Mani pedi from miss Maria. They offer may therapeutic options definitely not just a place to get pretty.
My friends and i had a girls trip and we all had massages and different body wraps mine was refreshing and amazing. The staff was sweet and informative, wine was complementary and we absolutely loved it. We will be back soon
Best Massage experience in Dallas...I have been here for a facial ( which was amazing), but today I had my first massage with Ruben. I have a previous back surgery so Im very careful about choosing the right therapist with experience with this. Ruben was amazing. He took time to discuss my concerns and type of back surgery. I had a deep tissue massage. He found areas that were contributing to my pain that I wasnt aware of... it felt like a massage with physical therapy and realignment. I cant say enough. I had a deep tissue massage with Lincoln and he was amazing. Best massage Ive ever had. Ive never done deep tissue before for fear of it being painful. Lincoln was gentle and firm at the same time. I felt like a million dollars when I left. I will definitely be back to see him.
I really enjoyed my visit at the spa. I purchased a Groupon for a 30 minute facial and a 60 minute massage for my birthday. I was really impressed by the salon and by the staff. Lola did my massage and she was very professional and friendly. Blanca did my facial and she was very helpful. She explained to me every product she used and what it was for. I would definitely recommend both ladies and Vis a Vis Salon.
I had a fantastic Gentleman’s facial from Gabriella. She was very detailed and really cared about making the whole experience enjoyable. I almost fell asleep during her facial massage. Highly recommend!
I really love this place!! I went there with my friend last weekend because she booked us for the french classic facial or french classique, not sure but I know that it was awesome. They use really expensive brands for facials and they certainly dont cheap out on the amount they use like other places Ive been to. After we were done we both decided to get a Mani & Pedi because their station looked so nice & cozy like you are in a hotels spa. Unfortunately we had to wait a while for them to get us in because it was busy after all it was a weekend, but we didnt mind it since they offered us really good french wine while we wait. I got dipping nails while my friend got her Gel a vie pedicure then we switched. Its so relaxing and soothing there, they dont try to rush us out of the chair even thou more people walked in to get their nails done too, but the nail techs still took their time to do the job right.And to top it all, they offered us a complimentary skin tightening session because they were doing some sort of demo. I did try the face slimming session while my friend tried her waist. It was really good so we would probably be back for this one too if they ever have a special on it because it was a bit pricy. But for now, we will definitely be back for the facials and nails, now that we know that its better to book ahead so we dont wait!
I walked in this place when I saw that they have those Zero-gravity massage chairs in their lobby. I quickly walked in because Ive tried them before and they are amazing and very sophisticated chairs that scan your body first so it can give you an accurate massage. They charge for them a dollar a minute unless you do a 30 minute then its $25. I also found out that they have a Zero-gravity float therapy as well so I decided to make it a zero gravity day for me. That float pod was out of this world, you literally feel like youre floating in mid air half way through the session. Overall I had the best relaxing experience as far as I recall since I moved to this busy area of uotown, dallas. Definitely my favorite Spa here in Uptown and will certainly make my visits here a habit since I have a very stressful job and need to relax more often. My next time I have to try their facials they perform on their zero gravity chairs. Ill update my review once I do.
My adult daughters and I recently visited the spa and each had massages, facials and float therapy. We were very pleased with the services and the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our experience was very pleasant and the spa was well decorated and very clean. I highly recommend it!
First Im leaving this review solely based on the unprofessional feedback the business has been giving. I could have left it as bad customer service but its far past that now.I purchased a groupon when I moved to Dallas as I didnt know of any spas in the area. I called the day I purchased the massage to make an appointment. All was fine until they called me minutes before my appointment to cancel. I asked if I could have the next available time and was told I would have to call back. At that point I made contact with groupon and was provided a refund. I left a recipe on Yelp and noticed it hadnt posted so I made another attempt recently.The manager was not happy with my review and sent me a nasty response making several accusations. I later received another response similar but over the top nasty. I seen other ratings where they simply apologize and move on but something about my 4 sentence review ruffled feathers.They dont wish to do business with people like me so I choose to spend my money else where.

The service I received which was eyelashes was as if I never went in to get absolutely NOTHING.I was charged $100 dollars and had ZERO results. When asked about it they just kept repeating what the “training manual” tells them to say without any thought or care at all. Customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. No refunds. No sympathy. It is the WORST.Do yourself a favor and please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. MaKinzie is a horrible esthetician who does NOT know what she’s doing.And yeah yeah a reply to this is going to be what the training manual tells them to say and how sorry they feel and that they tried blah blah blah but the truth is that they didn’t and they hung up on me when I was still talking to them questioning them.
I did a two week search for a half day spa, at a reasonable price. Everything that came up was 30% more than Vis-a-vis. I was concerned on how V was going to compare to others, but Kobe (and Nicholas) the masseurs rubbed away all our hesitation, and one hour longer she wouldve stole all my plans for the day! She rubbed away stress especially in places that are often overlooked. We had the Menage a trois spa package. The Zero gravity chair was a genius addition to a facial, as I dont see the need for it, as it just seem to be layering of moisturizers, but the chair is an added massage, and helps ignore the fact you are gettin a facial at the front door, behind a curtain, and can hear and see other patrons waiting for services. If Vs facility was larger, I would give it five stars. It was awkward stepping into the hallway to switch rooms, near patrons just entering the facility, as well as the jet powered shower was good, but a very tight squeeze if you are full bodied, and if you dont want to get your hair wet, more room is needed to maneuver, so showering and drying off were a task, as the flotation tub shares the room with the shower. V has done well with the space they have, but still. Ive already made plans to return for a massage and go green body wrap, because its like being in a sauna, except I dont have to breath hot air, as its just your body in sauna temperatures.Great job V!
My wife and I had a great massage at Vis-a-vis. We had bought a couple of coupons from Groupon and they were able to accommodate us for a couples massage. Brenda, my masseuse, ensured that I got the kind of massage I had requested for, high pressure. My wife enjoyed her massage from Jaime. Overall it was a great experience with warm, friendly and prompt service. We would definitely recommend.
Really nice staff. Had my first massage with a male therapist, his name is Jerod. I had problems with my back and his massage helped me a lot!! Free parking is next to the building, close to Starbucks.Strongly recommend this place :)

Go see Maria for all your laser hair removal needs! I had LHR at a different salon a couple of years ago and it was SO painful AND after my treatment cycle, I still wasnt pleased with the results. At Vis a Vis with Maria, I was so pleased after the FIRST session AND it hurts WAY less than the other salon because of their awesome machine!
Melanie makes tasteful suggestions on French manicures (my favorite), they turn out classic yet unique. Jessica threads my brows and always asks exactly how Id like them done. She gives her opinion if theres anything that may need some sprucing up and Im usually down for it! You also cant beat the complimentary wine.
I came here because I wanted my nails and waxing done last minute before a late night outing and they were the only spa open late in uptown when I checked. Even thou there was only 20 minutes left until they close, they still took me in and accommodated my requests knowingly that they will well pass their closing hours. All their clients left before 9, yet the manager and the esthetician/nail tech didnt seem bothered at all that they are staying an hour longer for me. On the contrary, they offered me complimentary wine while Im getting my Mani & Pedi and we had a lovely conversation that I almost forgot about my outing afterwards. Im really grateful for what they have done, and that is why Im leaving them this review. I loved the nail techs work and the fact that I got a wonderful Spa treatment for Salon services!

I did cancel my appointment and I did come the next day to get services I did do a chargeback. The person that book my appointment no longer work there and she the only one know what was said on the phone and I did cancel my appointment and I did call she asked me that I can come the next day and I came the next day and they wouldnt open due to the covid-19 they had the cleaner building up I went to the donut shop sit over a hour and a half in the donut shop sit in my car they didnt open they didnt answer the phone I called 10 times and later they send me a text saying sorry for the inconvenience we have to clean up our building were not open today so thats proven evidence that I was there as far as the lady saying I didnt cancel I did they should check their voicemail and see that I did cancel my appointment all I wanted is services thats it if you didnt want to give me services you should have just said you dont want to give me services you could have charged me $25 but to take my whole $95 thats horrible and then a lot to say my bank did three charge back the bank on only allowed to do one charge back false information and false communication.
I would not recommend this spa to anyone, of any background. I’ve visited many different spa’s across the country and this one has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I went on a weekend and I seemed to be the only client there at the time. There was a male and a female at the desk. Neither of them greeted me when I entered. They just sat there and stared at me. I then spoke to them and told them what i was there for. They seemed very unfriendly, especially the male. They showed me my room, I went in and prepared myself for my massage. Can you believe, the woman giving the massage wore GLOVES during my massage! Omg, i was floored. Really. Unbelievable, but she did. Overall, i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They are impersonal and lack common professionalism.***Update***Wow, i am just reading this follow up. Anyone of good judgement can see exactly the type of service i received just by your response. Instead of trying to create a narrative that i am Being dishonest, maybe consider my experience was...hmmm, REAL! Lol. Maybe consider something wasn’t right when i came there. As anyone can see, this is the type of owner this spa has and service I as a Black Women received coming and paying for what i assumed would be a tranquil experience. Kindness and professionalism goes a long way. For ALL customers. Such a waist of my money.

This Spa is the Real Deal!Super friendly staff! Front desk is very helpful in explaining services and pricing.We had a couples massage that we both described as fantastic, as soon as we were in the car! We have gone to many places with many price points, think Ritz, Zen Massage, et. al.They have additional services besides what is on the menu above the front desk. I have scheduled some additional services to try on this spa as my full service spa. So, look for my update in about two weeks.
Our experience was ok. The staff was nice enough but not overly friendly. It was nice that they offered a drink once you arrived.My friend and I were in town for work and decided to get a mani pedi. We searched places near our hotel. We chose this because of all the great reviews. The mani pedi was sub par for the price but it was ok. Nothing amazing but nothing really wrong. We had our services on Friday evening, today is Sunday and both of our gel manicures are already peeling on several nails. We have been sitting at a conference so nothing that should cause nails to to peel and chip already. Its disappointing when a $40 mani doesnt even last 48 hours.
Had a schedule conflict the day of and was initially disappointed to have to come back the next day. However, the owner went above and beyond to make up for it when I returned. Kobe was great also. Thanks so much. Ill definitely be back.
There are plenty of great spas in Dallas, avoid this one !! The service here is terrible. We were charged 300 when missing appointment due to emergency w my newborn and called several times for two days with no response just wanting help and explanation. I also was never told the cancellation policy nor that they would charge my card. I never received an email or any warning about the cancellation policy.update: I was NEVER told over phone my card would be charged and NEVER received a confirmation email and you finally returned our calls after we called several times the past two days and left several messages. Please feel free to listen to my recorded phone call where I was never told my card would be charged or made aware of the policy. It seems so unprofessional the way you write back on the bad reviews. My newborn having a fever is not a fake excuse. My bigger problem is being charged with no warning.

As you know, Brazilians arent the most subtle types of waxes, but when you find an esthetician who knows what they are doing, you wont dread having to go back again. I saw Jessica Hoffman for my wax and she was very professional, easy to talk to, and quick. After having her, I requested that she will always be my waxer!Vis a Vis is very accommodating when you walk in as well. They ask you if you want anything to drink, make sure you fill out the right forms, and always on time.This is my new spot!

Bought a facial, mani and pedi package for my wife while we were visiting Dallas and took her there as a surprise. The place is in a super nice part of Uptown, they have free trolley rides right in front of the spa that can pretty much take you anywhere in Uptown or Downtown. The interior of this place is decorated beautifully. This french spa even have a french bidet in their bathroom. I had to take a picture of it. Really fancy!The spa offers Free wine and WiFi, so I wasnt bored waiting for my wife to finish. I didnt even feel the need to leave and come back like I had planned. They offered me complimentary wine while I wait, and I used their wifi to catch up on some work. I even noticed that they offer manicure & pedicure for men so I jumped in while my wife was in the room getting her facial done. It was so quiet and relaxing unlike other places that are always in a hurry to get you in and out so they can cram as many people as they can. Its a really soothing atmosphere and very laid back. You feel like you are in a private spa in a 5 star hotel. The wife absolutely loved her nails and facial and couldnt have been more pleased. Will definitely be returning if Im ever in town again!
My friend and I decided to treat ourselves with manis and pedis while we were in Dallas for a conference. We chose Vis a Vis because it had good reviews and was close to our hotel. The staff was nice, but offered nothing out of the ordinary. We paid $40 for gel manicures and in 24 hours my manicure was chipped. As I said, we were at a conference and were doing nothing that would have warranted a gel mani to already be chipped. Some of their gel colors looked faded, so I dont know if their colors were old and needed to be replaced and thats why it chipped or what. None the less it was not worth the $40. My friends mani was chipped on multiple fingers in less than 48 hours.
I started coming to vis a vis for facials a couple of months before my wedding to ensure I looked my best! Per my facialists reccomendation, I got a Microneedling facial a couple of weeks before my wedding and I loved the results. After a couple of days of recovery time my skin started looking better than it ever had before. I was hesitant about Microneedling at first, but my esthician walked me through the process to put me at ease and the results were well worth it.
Love this vicinity! I love this intimate spot for such a lot of reasons, but no 1 is the friendly team of workers and amazing service. I always get the gel mani and it lasts for all time. Theyre so excellent and with no trouble located via my hair salon), I will honestly be trying different services.

This place was amazing! The owner makes you feel first class, they have a detailed consultation with you. I did a facial with microdermabrasion, LED light therapy and extractions on a massage chair, very affordable for the amount of treatments I received, the aesthetician was very sweet and knowledgable. Next time im trying the Isotank Float.

Have now had two Lunchtime Facelift facials with Isabelle. I noticed immediate tightening of my skin! Long term effects have included much clearer, less acne-prone skin as well as a more awake appearance. I have my third facial scheduled for this week and have decided to add on micro-dermabrasion. Cant wait to see the results!

My facial, if you can call if that, was definitely the worst I have ever gotten. I essentially paid for the use of the zero gravity chair while getting steam and a face mask on my face, with minimal involvement from the woman supposed to do the facial. She was at the front for the most part and only came by for a maximum of ten of the 45 minute facial.
