Woodhouse Spa - Dallas

We booked Woodhouse for a last minute massage for our bachelorette trip and we are SO glad they were able to fit us in. Paul, Debbie, and we can’t remember the other therapist name, gave us the best massage experience we’ve had! They had everything ready for us and made our experience feel personal from start to finish. We even stayed in the quiet room a little while after just to relax and enjoy our champagne. We will definitely be back for future girls trips!

I had the ultimate calming experience at the Woodhouse Spa in Dallas ! Carolyn is an amazing and talented massage therapist. I highly recommend Her! Every one is so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The atmosphere is ultimately relaxing, clean, and serene with ambient lighting, service and quality is outstanding !!

OMG! This place is amazing!! Booked a couple’s massage “Couple’s Retreat” for my wife’s birthday. We are no strangers to massages but this was entirely different. Before we arrived they messaged asking for our sizes to have everything ready. We were greeted with expectation and pampered from the start. The massages weren’t just massages, it was a whole experience! Definitely #1 in my book! We will definitely book again!

First time at this spa and thoroughly enjoyed myself! Despite having been running a little late myself, they had everything prepped for me and made it easy to jump into my appointment. I had a facial with Angel and he as very accommodating and attentive! He was inquisitive about my long term skin goals and helpful in breaking down products that would be helpful for me. Would definitely book with Angel and recommend this spa!

I love coming to Woodhouse for a spa day. The pricing is reasonable so I can treat myself more often than other spas. Massages are always good and the facials are too! They have a nice locker room. Their robes and shoes are comfy. The waiting area is relaxing. Heads up that this is a day spa without amenities such as sauna, hot tub etc.

I had a planned spa visit that left me worse off than arriving. I do not leave reviews but feel improvement could be made. I received a confirmation call the day prior to my visit regarding details for shoe size, robe size, and special occasion (birthday). I was so excited because it was going to be such a lovely experience especially at 37 weeks pregnant. I had the mommy to be package paired with salt therapy. Upon arrival my locker was not set up with any of the items they called me previously for. I thought these things happened and the staff must have missed it so they got me set up from there. No worries! From there my massage therapist met me in the quiet room and asked how far long I was to which I told her 37 weeks and she asked how many months that was. It was a little concerning because even if you do not have children or had a pregnancy journey surely you should know timelines because you’ve offered prenatal massage. Nonetheless I remained positive. I had a sidelong massage but what was new for me was laying on my side with my arm bent back behind me so she could get better access. At the time I thought okay strange but hey maybe this is just a technique I haven’t seen yet. Poor choice unfortunately because now I have a pinched nerve in my left trap muscle. Regales was the massage was good overall but afterwards she did not know I had another service booked, leaving me to believe the staff maybe doesn’t invest in the personalized experience. She got me set up with my nail tech and she did a great job. Once completed she told me someone would grab me for my salt therapy. I was like great she knew! I went to the restroom and waited 45 minutes but no one came. Staff came in and out but no one checked on me. Normally I would ask but I didn’t want to disturb anyone’s quiet time or make a scene. I simply showered changed and checked out . During check out I informed the staff to not charge me for salt therapy and she simply stated okay. No apology for waiting 45 minutes when I told her. So I left. Almost in tears. I would caution anyone especially pregnant or celebrating a special occasion based on my experience from coming here. I gave a few good starts because the ambiance was wonderful, my pedicure was good, products smelt amazing, and it was serene. I just wish it was pregnancy friendly and lived up to the personalized experience promoted on social and the website. Hate that I left feeling worse than arrival and when informing staff of my wait there was no apology. As someone who likes to provide seamless customer satisfaction I hope for better and that the staff is mindful going forward.

I booked a 4 handed massage as a gift to myself on my birthday. On their website it is described as “Two therapists apply choreographed, rhythmic movements to induce deep relaxation. Enjoy a full-body massage, reflexology, and a hypnotic scalp massage with aromatic oils to soothe the senses and nourish the skin.” As someone who regularly gets massages I was super excited for receiving this 4 handed service as described - few spas offer this due to the training needed.The actual massage was not that at all, despite being told at booking that there were only two choreographed practitioners - a male and female available for that day, and trained to deliver this service. In my mind, that sounded reasonable that two people would need to train together to make it “choreographed” and “rhythmic”.The massage started with one practitioner working one leg and the other alternating between my back and both arms presenting an experience that was far from rhythmic or choreographed. I was offered no choices of aromatic oils and the male practitioner was boisterous in a way I found unsettling. The female practitioner never even introduced herself to me. In short, the experience was unsettling.After 15 minutes, I asked to stop the service as it varied vastly from what was described on the website. Regardless, I was still charged $390 as I was told I didn’t meet the cancelation policy by the front desk staff in order to warrant being charged anything less, despite the service delivered not being as described.I was told by the receptionist that what I received was correct and that the description on the website was wrong - that the service actually wasn’t choreographed or rhythmic. She also told me that the general manager would call me the next morning to discuss my experience, however I received no call. I already paid full price for the service and clearly the Woodhouse Spa wouldn’t be prioritized to talk about the matter further.As a result, I would not recommend Woodhouse Spa to anyone. If you don’t receive the service clearly described on their website, they will still charge you for the service because you didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance. This creates a space where they can deliver poor service without recourse and still charge your card on file, leaving your recourse to a public review and possibly credit card dispute to resolve the issue.

This has got to be the best spa I’ve been to so far. Carolyn handled my back like no other!!! Mind you I didn’t even know I had a knot there but she focused on it and my my my!!! I feel brand new . & yes I already booked my next appointment with her !!!

I had a good first time experience. However, I’m giving a 4 stars because the back of the Quiet room smelled like mold, & the glass cup I was drinking out of had a chip in it.As for the actual service… I got a hydra facial and when I left, my skin was glowing! The tech was very informative. She also had products set out for me at the countertop as recommendations. The only thing I would’ve changed was for her to be a little more firm. Other than that, she was great!

My wife and I went here for an anniversary relaxation experience. The staff were generally courteous, and the facilities were lovely, but it left a lot to be desired for comfort and thorough pursuit of customer satisfaction. I dont feel like I received what I paid for.Although I asked for a deep tissue massage, and indicated on forms that Id like a high-pressure massage, the pressure ended up feeling more like a strong full body rub, definitely not a tension-relieving massage. I felt awkward requesting more firm pressure, as my masseuse was using her arms and seemingly putting her weight into the effort, but could not really get into my actual muscle soreness.Something relatively minor that was still annoying was being charged an extra $10 just to have my wife and I lay in the same room during our massages. With the already high cost of these massages, it just felt like an unnecessary take that we werent happy to provide - particularly because no one told us until afterwards.I didnt plan to write a review in the moment, but it also didnt seem great that no one asked us how the experience went, even during our check-out, so I suppose this is how we let them know.

I was looking for a place where I could totally relax and have a me day and this place did it for me. I booked a body balance message and a lift and firm facial for the same day. I had my body message done first and it was okay nothing too special. My massage therapist was nice but for some reason, I couldn’t relax with her. By the time I got my facial, it was a completely different experience. I felt completely relaxed. Jackie made me feel so comfortable, she was amazing. I left the spa feeling renewed and lightweight. I will definitely be back! Recommendation prior to booking, try to book on non-busy days to avoid the noise and crowdedness as the waiting area ispretty small. Aside from that enjoy the mimosas and the spa.

I have been coming here for a little while now and can I say DEBBIE, DENAE, and SARAH are amazing!Denae does my hydra-facials and my skin is always so glowing and refreshed, she is so kind and relaxing throughout the entire service. My skin looks amazing for a while after, and she is always giving me tips and tricks on how to my manage my extremely dry skin.Debbie does my deep tissue and holy moly! Talk about massage drunk afterwards… she gets in all the places you didn’t even know had tension/ knots and her process is amazing. In the beginning she tells you how to breathe, communicate, and feel throughout the service. Total zen the entire time, it feels like you’re melted in the bed and in another universe.Sarah does my pedicures and when I tell you she is so detailed and mindful of her nail work, I only see her for my feet. Sarah’s massage, scrub, and overall personality are a 10/10.

Ted and Mariselas hands are the truth. I thought I already experienced the best deep tissue massage prior to today, but there is something about Teds hands and experience that are on a whole other level. It was the best. The Soothe & Hydrate facial I received from Marisela was everything. My skin looks and feels all things amazing. I dont want to wash this glow away. It was truly a luxury spa experience from the time I scheduled until I left. Woodhouse Spas is officially my favorite!

I booked a fill body deep tissue massage for 50 minutes and my therapist only spent time on shoulders the entire time and when i asked she said that was the target area i mentioned! I understand that i did mention the target area but where was the full body massage for which i made the appointment!? Worst experience ever! Definitely wont recommend going here.

Maggie is ANGELIC! The way she puts detail into each small muscle and goes over your body is heavenly. I will definitely be coming back to visit Maggie, hands down one of the best massages I’ve received!

Had a great experience at Woodhouse for my first Hydrafacial. The spa feels like a luxury hotel. I enjoyed my service with Angel and highly recommend him!

We went for my daughter’s birthday and it was not anything special. The locker area was crowded and the spa doesn’t have any amenities. The massages were ok but not the best we’ve had! This spa is fine for a quick service but certainly not an “experience.”

My mother and I got matching massages for her birthday. We were greeted with a sign wishing her well on her special day. Staff was hospitable and accommodating. Excellent treatment. Very clean facility.

Today I had the best massage of my life from Debbie. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. She was able to tell what my trouble spots were and really worked on them. I’ve had many professional massages before and her technique and attention to detail was superb. I already booked my return massage for next month!

Facial was good! But the attendant asked me how old I was and said I looked 40… I’m in my late 20’s. Kinda put a damper on the rest of my experience.

Truly one of the best massages I have ever received. DeeDee was amazing! She said shes only been a masseuse for a couple of years, but I wouldnt have known that by her strength and technique! The use of pressure with her her elbow and then ends it with this... swoop move... idk how to explain it... you have to experience it to understand! ;)Go see Dee Dee! The next time im in Dallas Ill definitely be making an appointment!

Do not recommend. The front desk staff lacks customer service skills and the level of professionalism required for a spa, though they are nice people. The reception area was crammed full, resulting in my husband and I awkwardly standing in the hallway in robes. The massage was ok. For the price, any other Dallas spa is a MUCH better choice. This was a true disappointment.

Every time at Woodhouse is simply wonderful. Debbie Ide is the best masseuse. I first started working with her when she was at Exhale Spa. When she moved to Woodhouse, I followed! Where Debbie goes, I go! You wont find anyone with better hands and a more generous spirit.

Disappointed. First time at the Dallas Woodhouse Spa. Went here to relax and left irritated.When I booked my appt over the phone, I was told to come early prior to my massage to relax in the relax room and enjoy a beverage. I arrived 45 min before my appt to do so, expecting a nice calm before my massage. There was a social gathering in the relax room with ladies talking so loud!! Three guests (myself one of them) complained for an employee to kindly ask them to be quiet and nobody did so, so we all had to “relax” in a room with screaming. For my beverage, I asked for hot tea and was told the tea kettle broke and they are not serving any so I was just given water.My massage was scheduled for 11:00am, but my masseuse was late and I became super anxious thinking I was being forgot about as no employee came to reassure me the situation. I had to get up at 11:15am and find an employee to inquire.My massage was mediocre. I paid for a deep tissue massage and let my masseuse know my pain areas to focus on. I only received regular pressure and not much time was spent on those areas, so I left not feeling much relief.Overall disappointing experience. I was really looking forward to coming here.

My wonderful experience at the this spa is due to Debbie Ide and her outstanding and exceptional service. She was AMAZING! I am still thinking about the service and can’t wait to return. I will specifically be requesting Debbie. The amount of pressure, massage techniques and all around care she provided was absolutely phenomenal. She even peaked my interest to try other services based on how how she described them as we went to the treatment room. I’ve had a lot of massages but due to Debbie’s service I have now experienced a top tier massage therapist. Her attention to detail, warm and inviting spirit and overall techniques which relieved a lot of pain and pressure points are next level. Thanks, Debbie!!

I had my first ever massage session done here. Elected for the sport massage due to a physically demanding job, and it went well. The masseuse was also nice, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend.

Rusty did such an amazing job!! He worked out all of my trouble areas in my upper neck/shoulder area. I received the tranquil massage + hot stones and it was AMAZING! 10/10 recommend and will be coming back and asking for him specifically! Wow, I feel so much better!

My mother and I went here together for our first time and both got pedicures and then my mother got a Holistic Body Detox while I got a Sculpt Facial. I could not be more impressed!!! The service was excellent and the staff did everything they could to make you feel special like VIP. Louise gave me my very first ever facial and I LOVED it!! 😍 And the pedicure changed my feet forever!! My heels feel like a babys bottom, no joke. Im going back for sure. Even bought a great hydrating skin product from the front store. The relaxation lounge was super VIP status, with mimosas and hot tea and even some snacks 👍If you want to treat yourself for an afternoon, go here and get you a package!

This is my second visit to Woodhouse Spa since moving to Dallas. Everyone was friendly and professional and the amenities were first class and what you would expect from a Woodhouse. My first visit was for a facial and I was a bit surprised when the person I booked was not available. I was however happy with the service and I decided to try a massage. This time I booked with Debbie and they did not change my request. Debbie was amazing and I would highly recommend her and will be going back again.

We went to Woodhouse to celebrate my husbands 55th birthday and it was his first time visiting a spa. Debbie made him feel so relaxed. She made sure to give him 5 star treatment. He was raving about it for days!! And counting the days until we come back. The staff was amazing and the service was stellar! Cant wait to go back!! Thank you Woodhouse Spa!

Melissa did an amazing job on my facial and I also got a great message from Wendy. 100% recommend these 2 ladies.My first experience at the spa wasn’t great, but their exemplary customer service made the situation right and I will definitely be returning to see Melissa and Wendy.

I got a 80 min deep tissue massage with Wendi and although she was a nice lady the massage was mediocre. This was the second time I’ve gone to a Woodhouse Day Spa and both times the massage could have been better. They need better training in see tissue massage. The massage was not a smooth transition from one part to the other. I feel for $200 I should walk out feeling more relaxed than I did. This wasn’t the worst massage, but should had been charged less as the pressure just was not there. I even asked for deeper pressure and the lady said she starts off slow and works her way to deeper which I understand but after a half hour I was tired of waiting for the pressure so I asked her to do more pressure as I did pay for a deep tissue massage which is more than a basic massage. Toward the end literally 1o minutes before the massage was over is when the lady finally as doing deep tissue massage. I can’t spend another $200 dollars at a place that does not have masseuse that know how to do deep tissue so I will probably not be back. Also the sandals they give you suck! They are uncomfortable and should give a more comfortable slipper. I think in my opinion you pay more for the place itself than the actual service. As a nurse I work too hard to not get a better massage. Again the lady was nice, just not the massage.

Woodhouse Spa has become one of my favorite spas in Dallas. The amenities are great and it feels so relaxing. I always go to Debbie for massages or body treatments. I have been seeing Debbie since she was at Exhale Spa and she has treated me through two pregnancies and numerous body aches. I cannot say enough great things about the spa and Debbie!

Best spa experience in Dallas! Me and my S/O got a Duet Hot Stone massage with Wendy and David. They were so professional and skilled! Receptionists were also so welcoming. We were able to relax before our massage in a beautiful private room with mimosas. Highlight of our trip. 10/10 experience over-all! Will definitely be back.

Schedule at 2:30, ask us to move to 3 to help with scheduling. We do so no problem. They take us back just after 3, massage starts 3:10 and is over at 3:50. Barely get to 40 min on an hour massage. Lady asks me what areas of need I have then proceeds to attend to none of them. Save the $300 go somewhere else.

It was wonderful! My friends and I had 3 treatments each and they where all great! I have never felt more relaxed and there is a nice “quite room” to chill have a snack, some bubbly or hydrated between services. I will definitely be back

It was my second time here and this time I brought the hubby for Fathers day. It is by far one of the best spa experiences Ive had. I love how they invite you to just sit and relax 30 minutes before your services and give you a nice private space to do so. Ted and Anne were great for our duet massage and we will be back!

One of the best massages by Debbie. She was so relaxing I drifted off to sleep! I highly recommend Woodhouse and Debbie.

Update: My partner received a direct email with a survey. She expressed concern about the pronouns misgendered situation, provided a low rated review, and the survey asked if she would like to be contacted about her experience. It has been several weeks and she was not contacted. No apology has been made or extended. This place is very much not an LGBTQ ally as they claim to as far as I’m concerned now.The massage was average. Not bad but not great. The staff was rushy, and didn’t have us fill out our forms until after the massage to explain what we liked,what injuries.The biggest disappointment was they present themselves as a safe space for non binary and LGBTQ. They even have a spot to mark pronouns and identity. Then every single staff member misgenders you and uses the wrong pronouns. Why even have this on the form, or ask when you schedule? They also only have gendered changing rooms and assume which one you go into.Can’t just put on the pride badge, gotta walk the walk Woodhouse. I would not consider this a supportive, welcoming, or considerate place if you’re LGBTQ like they try to market. Very disappointing and put a damper on my partner and I’s anniversary.

Massages are always 5 star but Wendi is so gifted that the massage is a 10 star - body and mind therapy. Ive never slept better than I do after I get a massage from her.

The service professionals were great! Top notch facials, massages and natural mani-pedis (no nail tips or harsh chemicals). Everyone was excellent! Facility was clean and very comfy!The admin portion is not very first timer friendly. We got the Ultimate Reset, and our appointment was from 10-2pm (but lasted until after 3pm). Online it stated that lunch was included. We never got lunch. By the time we asked, it was too late. At checkout we were told that we had to ask for lunch, and that it is not automatically served. Also, it was not mentioned that the mani-pedi was not full service. My friend had nail tips that they could not refill. The justification was understandable, but it would have been nice to know this upfront.Those things are minor, but were disappointing. However, the services and the people servicing greatly made up for the shortcomings.

I had a massage and facial today and can honestly say they were two of the best treatments I have ever had. I’ve been to the wood house spa multiple times and it’s always been very good however the best massage therapist is Rusty (shouldn’t be saying this as he will get even more booked up) and Louise for facials

I came here to relax and boy did I! If youre in the Dallas area and want a great spa, come here. I got a massage, pedi and facial. They were all amazing and topped it off with a mimosa in the relaxation lounge. Great attention to detail and service!! My next trip to Dallas will include a few hours here for sure!

I go to this location and Fort Worth… Debbie was my masseuse today. Absolutely loved her. She touched pressure points others had not. I will only request her for the Dallas location moving forward!!

Nice facility but as far as the massage— just about the most pointless one I’ve ever received. Instructions given to the massage therapist were not followed. I asked for emphasis on the lower body and this was ignored.
