Nice intimate space clad in pink lighting. The crowd was varied and fun on a Friday night. The specialty cocktails were tasty, if a little on the small and expensive side. Not too horrible for a little splurge because, again, they were SUPER tasty. The price of the drinks is the only reason why Im not saying five stars, since everything else there, from the service to the crowd, was fantastic. If Im ever back in Dallas, this will definitely be one of the first stops I make.
Miran is the best. Everyone should come out to Mr just because of her. The best of the best bartenders in Dallas.
Kids dont belong at bars, or drag shows. if it was Women performers you know they wouldnt be allowed there, so why this ? if i could give 0 stars i would
MARIO at the front door tried to extort me for my phone number and wouldn’t let me in unless I GAVE it TO HIM and “Hollered” at him DISRESPECTFUL,Disgusting, and out of line. DONT GO here !!! Definitely left once I was harassed by him
I love coming to Mr. Misster! I’ve been going here for years and it is always so much fun. It has great music, affordable drinks, and the best atmosphere. They also put out incredible, blow-out events. Check it out if you want to have a good time.
Mario was so disrespectful to my friend ! insisted on trying to get his number to be let in && had to “holla” at him , I AM IN DISGUST IN THIS BEHAVIOR ! do not recommend !
Had a terrible experience tonight... The bartender said he did not sell well drinks and forced me to buy top shelf drinks. The bouncer is short tempered and disrespectful...trust me the velvet curtains are not going to get ruined if someone touches them. I do not recommend this bar to anyone...
Love the place a great new addition to the gayborhood great people and great music, the drinks were reasonably priced and taste good too. Had a great time they have a candy wall, where you can pick different types of candy. The DJ kept the music going all night jam after jam, I was sweating good cardio lol. Would definitely recommend this bar.✌🏽😎✌🏽
I like the vibe of this place. Its relaxed and fun. I like that the dj the few nights Ive been so far seem to focus on songs that are both fun to dance to and fun to sing together. The whole dance floor gets in on the singing and it makes the whole experience a lot more fun.The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The bathroom is decently clean.
This establishment repeatedly assaults their customers. DO NOT go here every bar on the strip treats their patrons with respect.
Amazing good time. The MC was funny and got everyone involved. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. I felt like everyone became friends that day. The performances were amazing!! Im sorry I didnt have more ones to throw out, but dont worry they take cash app, apple pay, ect... Plenty of parking behind the building. Only single stall in the bathrooms so watch your bladders ladies.
These people host events while adults dance provocatively around children.
My favorite place in the entire strip! It’s the place to be on a Sunday Funday, any day is great except Wednesday nights, be careful on that night since the people are sometimes rude and trying to fight you for no reason, don’t know why but Wednesdays are just bad. Any other day is a great night for sure!
Love that there was no cover when we visited. Great vibe. Most of all, we made friends with the bouncer, Cynthia who was just such a great person. She made us feel so welcomed here. Shes a great face for your business (and no, were not her friends posting a bogus post or anything). Haha! Honestly, great peeps. Keep up the great work!
A nice venue, much more upscale than others on the strip. A casual place to visit with friends. The service is quick and unlike other bars you can actually hear the bartenders. The music never disappoints, and the bar doesn’t play the same artist on a loop like other bars. Update: They have a new DJ in the last month, the music is always upbeat now and easy to dance too!
The decor is nice but the bartenders and staff are piss poor. My first night going with a friend (and was my last) we were ignored and skipped over not once but TWICE by one of the bartenders, despite being first in line and waving our hands. When he finally acknowledged us he replied with a snarky comment and claiming he didn’t see us. Even after all that, the drink tasted like hand sanitizer. I just wish the bartenders and staff were as nice as the decor. They won’t last long.
This establishment is racist. We were one of the first groups to get a table and order drinks at the bar. We went to sit at an open table. (There were plenty of tables available) and as the night progressed a bartender came to the only table where there were patrons of color sitting and set a reserved sign on the table and told us that we had to move. When asked about the situation, the staff said that another group paid for the table. We were never even given the opportunity to pay any additional fee for the space that we were already occupying. And yes, the patrons who came to occupy the un-reserved table we were at were not patrons of color. If you are people of color. I would not patronize this establishment because they apparently exercise prejudice/racist tendencies.
This bar brings a very LA/Miami vibe to the strip on cedar springs. With the good looking staff to the music they play, it’s a must see place and a great place to visit when you’re of out town. I’m extremely impressed with the crafty cocktails they offer. I’ve also noticed they always create new drinks and offer many new seasonal drinks. Definitely will be a regular at this spot!
My friends and I have been at this location after brunch just chilling and taking turns buying drinks after a few drinks & and $150+ later we were asked to give up our table, because they needed it. I understand if we were not consuming but we we were all having a good time. Not happy with the way they treated us, we will not be returning any time soon.
This place is brand new and phenomenal! A menu of fabulous crafty cocktails, shirtless bartenders, a DJ that knows. Plus, the best photo ops are everywhere!. This place is the place 2 b for the night, before your night, or for that perfect hand crafted wind-down-the-night-cap. You gotta go. Ill see you there. After all, its not gonna lick itself!
The staff was incredible! We went for my birthday and the staff made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the drag show brunch! Dylan the bar manager was so amazing! Everyone was friendly and the show was so much fun! I recommend this place for sure!!!!
I visited during a three day trip to Texas in the midst of the pandemic. A few friends suggested I visit as it is a new location since I moved away from Dallas.I was glad to see that they were controlling how many people could enter the bar. I was also glad to see that people were required to have a mask to enter the bar. However, once I was inside, it appeared that all bets were off. People walked around without a mask through the bar. People mingled thought the bar and walked from table to table. Many members of staff walked around with masks on but around their chins which defeats the purpose.Ultimately, within 4 days of visiting this bar, my only outing while in town, I had contracted COVID-19. I have little to no doubt that this is where I contracted it as nobody that I came in contact with earlier in my trip contracted the virus.I wish they were following social distancing for patrons and staff. It would be a safer location to visit.I enjoyed the vibe and the people. The drinks were a bit weak and service took a while, when sitting at the bar.
My friends and I stumbled into this place on accident a few months ago, but we were greeted so warmly by the bartenders that we stayed and hung out. It was very quiet and had a great vibe. We came in pretty early in the evening so the energy could pick up later if thats your thing. Good drinks, good service. Definitely recommend.
When walking in the experience was amazing. Myself and six other black females. We brought drinks, we took pictures and were genuinely embracing the atmosphere. We asked the bartender could we have two tables, we were told yes. While continuing to have a good time, someone walked up to us and told us that they were going to need to take one of the tables from us, because “ someone requested the two end tables for their birthday.” This was right after us clearly asking the bartender were we ok to sit at these two tables. This basically made us feel super uncomfortable after spending money. We left the bar after feeling totally embarrassed. Can’t say that I will be back.....
I love this bar and the ambiance. I will definitely go back during my next trip to Dallas. One of the main reasons I liked it was because of the music and the DJ.
This place is the newest on the strip but they have come a long way. Great atmosphere (even during COVID) and the new regular DJ DeLuna is awesome. Gets the place bumping every time he’s at the booth. Highly recommend and the staff will take great care of you. Zach, Ashby, Dalton, Caleb, and Mitch are the best. Thank y’all for being so good to me!
Bartender Steph is unnecessarily rude. Bought $50 worth of drinks and one was watered down. I proceeded to nicely ask if it could be fixed since a sip was taken from it and was told to buy another drink and that she wouldn’t fix it. Steph needs better training or to be let go of.
Wednesday night be lit and melanated! Plus it be a lot of good looking dudes so that’s a plus. Also Sue ellens behind JR’s be lit on Wednesdays. The strip (gayborhood) is a vibe wed/fri/sun, but that’s just my experience, i can have fun any day lol
Me and 6 of my black female friends came here for a midday drink and a good time. We were originally greeted with open arms and welcomed into the establishment. I went up to the bar upon our arrival and asked the bartender if it was ok to push 2 tables together to accommodate our party. He responded it would be fine to do so and I proceeded to order a round of shots. Just as we were about to make it another round we were approached by a man who informed us they were going to need to take one of our tables because someone scheduled a birthday party specifically requesting the 2 tables we were seated at. Never did he ask if he could reseat us and never did anyone inform us that the table was reserved. We were treated as if we were unwelcome as soon as the establishment began to fill up. Never will I return and never will I recommend it to anyone else.
This place is so much fun! Great music, great drinks and great staff. This is what this area needed. You can go casual or be cute and dressy and fit in. Take a pic on their soon to be iconic neon sign and dance the night away with cute and cocktails. Try the mr misster and the pool boy cocktails and go back on a sunday for their fun sunday funday drinks!
Come for DJ Deluna and stay for the rest of the staff, Zach, Tr-Ashby, Dalton, Mitch they all have a good time and take care of their customers like best friends. You know the music is good when the staff is dancing too!
The establishment is very nice and clean. The music and drinks are on point. However, one of the bouncers is very rude and aggressive. My first time in the bar was with a friend visiting Dallas for first time. I’m appalled at how my friend was treated by bouncer.
The doorman working Friday night (1/24/20) is chasing your customers away. He did not check the IDs of the group entering before us, so naturally we put our wallets back in our pockets only to be verbally accosted when we walked past him. We have excellent relationships with the doormen on cedar springs. I’ve not had one negative incident with a bouncer/doorman since I turned 18 and started going out back in 2009! I worked as the head of security for a Denton frat bar while in college. Had any of our men raised their voice and spoken so rudely to a customer as soon as they walked through the door FOR NOTHING he would’ve been gone. That never happened, because we hired people with at least an ounce of respect for their fellow man. Your doorman came off agressive and hostile and we’d only been in the building for 20 seconds or less! Thanks to him, we took our money to the usual spots. So much for trying something new. Ridiculous.
Sunday 2pm to -> 3pm$25 mimosa towers with 3 Champaign bottles inside of em!SHEEEEESH
Wow with the fact that bars shouldnt be open right now anyways I thought for sure they would be following guidelines...I was wrong. None of the bartenders or staff are wearing their masks as they walk around the establishment, they dont enforce their patrons to wear their masks, and the alcohol is expensive and literally just watered down mixer. Take my advice grab your friends go to the liquor store and have a game night at home.
I wish your staff wouldn’t card my friends and I because we are Hispanic. Especially because they don’t seem to ever card Anglo Saxons lol. Nice bar, mostly good vibes. An updated version of Jr’s, still racist, but...nice.
My besti and i went and no food was served but they served entertainment for sure and the drinks were so good that we ended up being a bit too silly and called for a back up ride this show wont disappoint
Don’t buy into these religious kooks who have taken over this review page. These people are sick. So worried about what gays and their families are doing while children are being blown away in schools with AR-15s. Get out of here with your self righteousness and sad conspiracy theories.
New Bouncer outside name pronounced “saeid” (heavy set guy formally working at Kaliente) is always harassing people when checking ID’s or find a random excuse to pull them to the side while the rest go inside to try and get their social media. It’s been 4 of my friends that have gone through this in different occasions. I wonder why he was released from Kaliente… go figure….
Hot, new bar on cedar springs. The place to be seen in the gayborhood right now. Very instagram-able inside. Bar staff is very friendly. Cocktails are little more expensive compared to other bars in the area.
Would love to give an honest rating, but they ensure you never actually get into the bar. Apparently the line is the place to be... Maybe you should take some influence from in and out and check on the folks waiting for service...
One of the worse experiences in this placeThey kick me out for no reason .
Visiting Dallas for work and made the best choice to stop in Mr. Misster. Dalton and Mitch made the entire experience unforgettable! I’ve gone back since and will be sure to come back every time in Dallas! It’s a MUST when in DFW.
LOVED it.Just dont expect a real brunch. Atmosphere and show make up for it.
Always a fun time with great music coming from the House DJ. The service and cocktails were perfect from the bartender Chandler!!
7:30 on a Saturday night and they are turning customers away for a private event. Obviously they do not care who their base is. We were told this party would end at 7 and then RUDELY turned away at 7:30 to regular customers. Wont be back.
Always a great time! No matter what day!
Really nice looking bar.Drinks are great fancy and strong.Waiters are super friendly.Highly recommend.
Knowledgeable bartenders. I had the old fashion. They infuses smoked wood chips into the king ice cube. Gave a wonderful flavor!
Tonight will be my first time visiting here. naturally after reading previous reviews and comments left by others, i’m a bit skeptical, but will hold out some hope. i’ll be back to update this later.
Went for the second time still not impressed way over crowded me and my friend from Denver heard good things about the bar he was shocked to see it was not what he expected like I said way over crowded we will not be back!!!!
I think the place was fabulous wonderful I love the energy. I love the bartenders they were very attentive. I will be back again.
Music was amazing when it first opened but it quickly became what you would expect for Cedar Springs. This bar quickly lost its diversity.
Meh. This place used to be cute now it’s ghetto
Hands down best bar on the strip. Fast, friendly & hot bartenders! You won’t regret visiting
Fun place with friendly staff. Gets really busy and the atmosphere has a great feel to it.
The best drinks in town!! Nice looking staff! Good music!
This bar has changed a lot since COVID. Great group of owners and staff, it’s usually a fun time here.
Great vibe with nice bartenders. Come early on Sundays or youll be waiting in line.
Cynthia makes mr mr what it is today. What she does for that bar is more than anyone I’ve ever seen. She is the reason I started Coming back to mr mr
Awesome drinks, great atmosphere, fast service and chic decor! Can’t wait to go back
Sunday funday is a must here. Joey DJ Level Mireles set’s the vibes with his awesome work!

Love. Taylor night was the best night ever.
It was pretty good. I know it could be better due to the pandemic but it was nice.
Hope to come back to Dallas just for this place
Great place, good strong drinks and friendly staff
Always a good time with good music and friendly people around.
Cute neighborhood gay bar. Likes to play 90s dance music.
Nice bar, but the bartenders are a bit slow with service.

Extremely rude. Do not recommend anyone even step foot in this place.
Nice atmosphere and new place for Cedar Springs 2020.
Its generally a gross atmosphere
It was standing room only on a Sunday afternoon.
Not good taste and wrong move for the business.
