Great burgers and fries, super friendly service and you can sit in a racecar while you eat!We had a group of 8 stop in for dinner on a Saturday night in May of 2024. We were seated quickly (in a racecar) and our server stopped by soon after that to get our drink orders. They had karaoke going and the atmosphere was fun. We can definitely recommend the burgers and fries. Portion sizes for those were large and the quality was good. This is definitely walkable from the Hilton/Ocean Center area to the North.
The burgers here are delicious. Truly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. However, our waitress seemed like she had no idea what was going on. I told her we had a shellfish allergy and she was completely confused. The service was pretty slow, but the restaurant itself is really cool. It has a bunch of police patches all over the place from all over the country. However, the floors are disgusting. I’m not sure if that’s typical for a bar-scene, but I was a bit shocked. Still, I would come back because the food was delicious. In the end, they were allergy friendly and the food was good.
Lunch date with my 2 boys. Service was great (Sheila), food portions were large and really good. Kids loved all the racecar memorabilia & the racecar booths. A little pricey for what I like to pay for lunch but considering the portion sizes, the taste and service... it was worth it! We will go back the next time we are in town.
I found this place randomly when I was Daytona but I totally loved it! The staff was outstanding and friendly and and the atmosphere was great too even tho there weren’t many people inside when I was there. The Karaoke-Machine was pretty dope! The drinks I ordered came quickly and were great. Thank you guys! Great job!
Was there Saturday night for the fireworks. Great spot to watch them without the massive crowd plus get served a ice cold beer, cant beat that!! Bartender was amazing great service this was my first time being here and Ill definitely be back!!
The food was your typical bar food, very greasy. Service - if I was a guy Im sure I would have received much better service. The place was practically empty when I got there. Waited while the bartender finished chatting with what appeared to be a new employee, when she finally came over it was what do you want I had to ask for menus, my appetizer came out same time as my food, had to ask the new employee to at least get me some ketchup. I had ordered one of their specialty cocktails, never was asked about another and as soon as I was done eating, I was asked if I want my bill. I had planned to have a couple of cocktails this evening but its okay I will take my money somewhere else
Service was an F- when I first walked in, I headed directly to the patio. No one bothered to acknowledge me or to offer me if I wanted a drink or whatever. 20 minutes later I decided to go inside and finally five minutes later someone acknowledges me. The waitress that took care of me seem like she was new and when placing an order for a drink, I didn’t realized that they charge you for the souvenir cups and by the way, the alcohol drinks were terrible $17.95 for a drink that doesn’t have any type of alcohol. Food was OK not the greatest, but this will be my first and last. whoever travels out to Daytona please do not go to this place. They need to improve their customer service overall and their drinks menu but most importantly to be more clear about the cost of the drinks. I just find it so deceiving for them to be sneaky and not tell you about the charge for the cups So every time I decide to try a different alcoholic beverage, you have to be sneaky and charge me 1795 for a souvenir cup when I already had one in the first place. My advice don’t bother going to this place.
Wow ! What a fab place! We had the wings and the loaded nachos 😋 Man V Food plate! FOOD WON! These nachos are not for the faint hearted! They are MASSIVE! Jennifer our server did warn us 🤣 but dont worry take away boxes available 😉 Jennifer our server could not have been more attentive! Thank you Daytona Beach ⛱️
Our party of 8 thought this would be a cool place to try. we walked in and only one other table was in the restaurant we stood there a few minutes before being noticed but then were immediately sat in one of there very cool race car booths which fit our party comfortably. we noticed it was very hot in the restaurant even with the few fans they had going. our waitress Jessica was very friendly and recommended the nachos they came out in a huge portion (definitely able to feed 3 maybe 4 people as a meal lol) we also got the gator bites not worth the $15 for such a small portion and were very chewy. wings were “market price” i did not expect about 12 boneless wings to be over $30 they were very dry and tasted like they had been sitting under a warmer and just had new sauce tossed over them (i work at a wing place and can usually taste when wings are old). portions on fries and burgers are large so that was a plus. over all it was definitely not worth the price. our checks were split into two, for 6 people it was $230 and for 2 of us it was $70 also gratuity was added in because we were a party of 8 which is fine just a heads up would have been nice since I always tip in cash. I would only go back for the friendly service. Ask for jessica to be your waitress she is great.
Stopped in for lunch with my 2 kids. They dont have a kids menu so we ordered 3 cheeseburgers & fries with sodas. The food was decent no complaints there. THE BILL WAS $75 FOR 3 CHEESEBURGERS FRIES & DRINKS. TOTAL RIPOFF. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE!
Fun spot to go hang out after the beach or a show. The atmosphere was lively and entertaining. Music was on point and beers served cold. You have normal bar food but they did it well. Will be back.
Our first time here and feelings are very mixed. The cocktails are served in only one type of glass. They are souvenir cups. Unfortunately, I did not find this out until drink #2. My husband and I had a server that was new and very nervous. The poor girl was scared to death but she was trying. We stuck around for karaoke and the dj was great but about 10 pm comes a young couple with a little bitty girl. She was cute but it was definitely an awkward “bar” setting to have a 2 year old running around on the karaoke stage. Not exactly what I expected. Brief fun but probably won’t visit again.
Cool concept but we had very poor service and the food was not good at all. I had 4 other people with me and nobody finished their food. Music was super loud and there were maybe 10 people inside in the middle of the afternoon that seemed odd to us. I did really enjoy the decor and racecar booths. We wanted to dine in but the service was so slow we decided to get it Togo by the time someone asked about drinks it had already been quite some time. Im sure this is uncommon here but it was my experience nonetheless.
This is a really fun stop for those looking for a sit down meal after leaving the beach. The whole place is race themed with 3 bars serving up delicious cocktails, a DJ mixing great music and guests sitting in renovated NASCAR race cars! The food is good, not outstanding but I still recommend a visit because the location and theming is so fun. The Vegas cheeseburger I got wasn’t super fresh and the Mac and cheese that topped the burger and that I got as a side wasn’t homemade as I hoped. The wings my husband got were good and the strawberry banana daiquiri we shared was top notch, easily the best we’ve ever had. We will be back, I want to sample more of the menu and get another daiquiri on my next visit!
This was a cute fun little restaurant , especially if you are into racing. The staff is very friendly. Sadly the food is over priced for what it is. They do not have a kids menu but have options on menu you can order for kids. It was well over $100 for 4 adults and one child to eat. That’s for one cheese pizza, burger with fries, 2- hotdogs with fries and chicken tenders and fries.
Food was just OK. Chicken Fingers were good, Gator bites were just OK. Three people called off and you could tell the staff was a little stressed, however, they kept chugging and got through it - always with a smile. Great atmosphere. Turkish prison style restrooms. I say, if you’re in Daytona give it a look.
Staff was nice, cant complain about them but prices are hidden for reason. Restaurant is so expensive, that we ended paying 18$ for smaller cocktail, other cup was taller than straw so my friend couldnt enjoy in drink........after we see 25,30 or more $ for burgers we just decided not to eat there. From atmosphere and place like that you cant expect to be expensive, I thought it will be one of the cheapest in area, but I was totally wrong. They give you some souvenir cups after drink and thats nice, but they should make some normal options for people that dont want plastic cups for not interesting souvenir.
One of the best (Food-wise) places I have ever eaten. The Crab cakes were absolutely beautiful just the right amount of crispness, light and tasty. The Vegas burger was beautifully prepared and perfectly seasoned, the homemade mac and cheese was delicious as well. The ONLY reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 is because the T-bone steak was a bit overseasoned, just too much salt and pepper, the cook was exactly how I asked for it (medium well) the meat was melt in your mouth tender and extremely juicy; honestly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten if it hadnt been overseasoned I probably would have died of happiness.
The service and atmosphere was awesome, but unfortunately the food was not. Out of seven people, the salad was the only food/meal that anyone enjoyed. I will say that the kids did enjoy the chocolate fries and the drinks were good.
Food was terrible, my salad was brown and the tomato’s were slimy and the sour cream smelled bad. Not to mention the service pretty sure the dumb blonde girl was either drunk or too incompetent to understand. She kept asking the same questions over and over after we told her exactly what we wanted and didn’t want to a T. She then proceeded to stand off beside us staring waiting for us to ask for something else as if she had nothing better to go and do. After the food came out my simple chicken quesadilla was bland and cold I told her to take it off my check since I took like 2 bites. Will not be coming back!
Logan was our waiter, amazing customer service!! He was very helpful as we were first timers and gave us great menu recommendations. We will return before the weekend is over!! Cruisin Cafe has amazing wings!! If you like NY style wings fried to perfection with amazing flavors...this is the place!! The garlic parmesan are my favorite. The bucket drinks made it worth it. My personal favorite is the Sunshine. I was shocked to see chocolate fries lol
People go there if you want the experience go there. The food has improved the servers are awesome and the bartenders are too. So dont just take my word for it go see for yourself
The salad my wife and I ordered was sour! The chicken on the salad was bland. Our server Jennifer was amazing and apologetic.
When we ordered the drinks they came in about 2 Minutes. My chocolate milk was very delicious ,they also had a good selection of food. The alligator tails are very delicious and unique but some can be very chewy while others were amazing. The bathrooms I found to be non professional, meaning that the bathrooms were not adequate the mens room was a small square and rather dirty. But the girls room was a good size room that could hold 3 girls at a time and rather clean.
Waitress was nice and good and enjoyed the scenery. The BLT was cold bacon, not just warm but cold like it was cooked before and just sitting and waiting. Fries also were barely warm and tasted a little stale.Hopefully this is due to being there early and only one other person in the whole resturant besides me.
We were there Friday evening of Biketoberfest and we were so disappointed.. they didnt even play the good music that we always came there for. To get down and dance. And after waking up and down main and standing listening to a band and the wet t-shirt contest all I wanted to do was sit and have a cold drink, but NO!!! they came around and took our stools!! Weve been coming theyre since 2012 and have never had them do this before, said it was a fire hazard after a certain time.?!? IT WAS 8PM! And there wasnt 30 people there. They must have changed hands or management 🤔 🙄 😐 I dont know but it was terrible, boring. Nobody dancing not even the lady bartenders. They used to all get in the bar and dance and wed do body shots.....oh the Good old days.
Yes maam. This place is the bomb, i love the race car daytona 300 theme. The food was top tier and the burger was excellent. If Im ever in daytona beach fl again I would run to this place for another good burger. I love the car boths and our waitress anglea short lady was very sweet, kind, and patience. Anyone in daytona looking for a great spot! I recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ended up cancelling our order and leaving. The place was disgusting only had cheap canned beer available over priced spirits. Food is over priced. Servers were rude, honestly they need John taffers help
I didnt eat but my friend said the food was good. The atmosphere is fun , there are tons of TVs. We sat on the patio and watched some of the Olympics. Would def recommend. Service is a tad slow outside but nothing too awful. The staff were pretty nice too.
Great local place.. Food is amazing ! The staff are very friendly and give insight on the history of the restauran. Stop by at 8:00 for karaoke.
The Aux here is the best thing sense sliced bread. I immediately climaxed once I heard “Glad you came” by The Wanted. The Fish and Chips were bussing bussing. My friends wrap came with tomatoes after he specifically said NO tomatoes. They made up with it because the wrap was better than the first time you impregnate a women. Overall 10/10 place and amazing atmosphere. Are servers name was Hollywood and I’d compare her to Jesus Christ himself. Again, the Aux was so good we were spamming W’s in the chat all night long.
The chicken burger and fries were flavorful and werent greasy. Will definitely visit again. 👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome staff, bartenders were quick and very nice! Missy was great. 10/10 would recommend, amazing atmosphere!
Had some lunch during off time and it was great. Give this place a try if you are ever in Daytona Beach.
Our server was Cartier, I think that’s how u spell her name! But she was great! She made us feel so welcome! Come to find out it was only her second day there! She’s a pro and made the experience so much better! Yall better hang on to her!
If you are looking to spend $25 on a burger and fries, that is not worth it, this is the place. The new menu prices are ridiculous, $12 for onion rings??I cant see a family of 4 spending $100 on food that is just OK. My family and I walked out after taking a look at the menu, I felt bad for the waitress so I ended up handing a tip to her personally.Inside decor is cool, but dusty everything needs a good cleaning.Waitress was very friendly.
We ended up going there for fries and karaoke. I didnt get any photos there.
This place I would recommend to everyone to stop in, from the burger to pizza, you won’t be disappointed. The staff was friendly and service was awesome while eating in a car. Their decor was great to look at while waiting on food, also had a little gift shop. Our only regret is not challenging the cup burger, 3 lbs of beef! Definitely be back, what a car fantastic place, thanks again from Detroit.
The servers were great! But the food was so-so for the price you pay. And the restrooms were so dirty, with roaches and vomit!
Very high prices an got stale chips with my wrap to boot. Car booth tables were pretty cool though
The burgers was good but the service stinks.. not very friendly waitress and left us with a feeling of not being welcome there.
I’ve never been in such an unsanitary place in my life. When I ordered my appetizer I got it with no utensils. When I did get utensils, it was hair in it. I’ve never had anyone give me utensils with hair in it. I received my wings and they were disgusting !!!! I then returned them and they still included 7 wings for $14 on my bill. I asked the waitress to take them off and she said she couldn’t do it and she had to wait until the manager got here in 15 minutes. I told her I’d wait and then next second she mysteriously found her and said “there she is actually!” The manager finally came to us to change it . Overall my first time experience was horrible. I’d recommend you to just go home and cook.
This place was AMAZING !!!! was there couple hours Thursday night . Had so much fun . Played all the best songs . Karaoke was incredible. Best night ever 🥳 I didnt eat here tho wish I would have .
Our server was amazing (Thanks Jen). The food was typical bar food. Mediocre at best. Wish there were more selections. Restaurant itself smelt like strong cleaner that gave you a headache but has your typical bar feel. More of a “gungy rough bar”.
Awesome place! Great staff! Way too much fun seriously! Yall go check out karaoke night its wild! Love this place! Did I mention its also a small business? Even more reason to support it.
Enjoyed a nice sandwich for lunch and liked enough to suggest it for dinner during Sunday rain out at Daytona. Dinner was just as enjoyable and we brought 3 additional diners with us for dinner.
My friend and I and her friends went to eat here during bike week 2004 let me tell you the food and the service was terrible my friends friend ordered an alcholic drink and it was suppossed to come with a glass cup and the waitress named Jennifer said they didnt have any afwul funny they had them on display and I was looking at the tshirts and things I can buy and nothing had prices on them this was the worst experience I had at a restaurant I ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries and my fries were cold never will I ever come back here if I come to Daytona Beach again I expect my food to be nice and hot and also the bathroom situation is very bizzare they had a man and a women working in there telling you what bathroom you can use and they expect to be tipped like seriously I could understand if this was a very fancy restaurant you would tip them but it isnt that fancy of a place
Its really hard to say what to avoid, but I genuinely do not recommended this play. Maybe if you really enjoy the idea of eatingMajority of the apps we tried (onion rings, fries, gator bites, chicken tenders, and mash potatoes) werent good and way too expensive. The onion rings were over fried (almost tasted burned) but felt very mushy and gross. The gator bites were small and barely taste like anything but were drowned in some kind of sweet chili sauce. The only thing I didnt mind was The King sandwich which was just a lot meat on bread. But the price was TOO much for what it was. 16 bucks for a mediocre sandwich really felt bad. We also tried 3 of the deserts but I think the only one that was okay was the chocolate lava cake. The service wasnt good. I felt like the waiter was ignoring us when we tried flagging her down. She forgot to bring us our fries. When she brought us a refill on lemonade, there were black spots in my friends drink, which really ruined our mood. I definitely came here thinking it probably wouldnt be that bad and I was proven wrong.I rarely write up a lot of negatives, but I really didnt enjoy this place and it wasnt worth my time. Definitely make sure this place is your vibe or youre probably going to be disappointed.
Definitely unexpected! The Richmond burgers and chicken wings were what we ordered and they were fresh and taste great. The best french fries were crispy, hot, and tasty; the best French fries we have ever eaten. The waitress little Jen and middle Jen were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Had looked online and seen good reviews online and wanted to give it a try. Came in at 3:20pm on October 7th, servers were just talking to each other and we had stood at the front for about 10 minutes before they sat us down. Once we finally got sat, our server introduced herself and said shell give us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted to get to drink. After 30 minutes had gone by she still hadnt came once to get our drinks nonetheless our food either. She and two other servers were standing in a groups just talking to each other the whole time. So we ended up walking out because another family came in about fifteen minutes after and got their drinks within the first two minutes of being sat. Was very disappointed with it but the place did look like it wouldve been good though!
The theme here is great as a NASCAR fan. Unfortunately, it seems like they care more about the decorations than the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant itself. The food was good (I did the burger challenge for the second time). The burger was cooked much better this time, but still well done when I ordered medium. My nephew ordered pizza and it came out 15-20 minutes after the rest of our food. Nachos were HUGEEEE and definitely worth the price. Everything else was way overpriced. This was most likely my last time visiting Cruisin Cafe.
I’ve lived here for over 20 years and bring family and friends to the beach so I took my granddaughter to this restaurant because it was quaint and she liked the car theme. She ordered water because she was paying and couldn’t afford a lot. The server brought bottled water. Thought it was a bit odd, but when we asked for more, we asked for ice water in a glass. We were told they didn’t have “ice water!” I had iced tea with ice and they obviously made that but claimed they had no ice water. I also asked for a side of onion rings with my wings and was told yes, they had onion rings as a side! When we got our check, she charged us $2.00 per water each and $12.00 for my “side” of onion rings which was the price of the onion ring appetizer! If they didn’t have a side, she could have said so, but didn’t, just charged $12!!!! For them! So we paid an additional $16.00 more than we should have for lunch. I bring a lot of people to Daytona to visit, so they have lost my business and any other visitors I know for ripping me off! Other than that, the food was good, but I won’t make the mistake of visiting there again!
Cruising has a cool race car vibe, some of the booths are in the center of old race cars cut in half. There is race car memorabilia all around. The food was good, I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and my neice had a bacon and cheese pizza. The only issue was that when my receipt came back after running my catd, there was an extra $10 added to the total. Luckily I caught it, the server took it back and the manager brought it back to me and showed the refunded amount and then the corrected receipt. Otherwise, it was a nice place to visit in Daytona Beach on a rainy day.
I got the talladega burger it was top notch. One less patty wouldve been perfect as I could fit my mouth around it lol
This place has an awesome atmosphere and super nice bartenders!! Missy was fantastic!
We went here last night during Biketoberfest. I have to say this is my second time here. The first time I had a quesadilla & it was really good. This time my husband & I had the Vegas burger. It was probably the worst burger we ever had. It tasted like old grease. The max & cheese was bland the only thing that tasted right was the bacon. The onion rings were not done all the way. We only ate half the burgers because we were so hungry. I have to say that the hostess & waitress were super friendly and quick. I like the atmosphere and wish they would get better cooks to update the menu flavors.
Love the atmosphere in this place. Has race cars converted to dining tables, very cool. Found the menu a bit limited, not much fried chicken options as advertised. No kids menu, and no ability to modify much of the menu (asked for a smaller size salad or some veggies for kids and they could not accommodate). Otherwise the server was great and again, really good atmosphere 👍
Just went in with my husband and daughter. Was told to order at the bar, not not given menus like the men that were in front of us. My daughter stabbed some and we sat for about 15 mins, out of both bartenders, neither even looked our way once. Not sure if she was just so enticed by the attention from the 6 men at the bar, but the visit was extremely disappointing being that I’ve been in the industry for 17 years. You should at least greet your new guests and tell them you’ll need a few minutes. Would not return nor recommend.
Had the bacon cheese fries they were warm not hot. Pretty salty wife had bacon sandwich very good lots of bacon
Server was ok. Got me the wrong drink at first. I had to wait 15 mins to get my coctail(restaurant had 3tables total…)All food are overpriced. The coctail glasses made of plastic instead of real glass. When I asked for a glass I got an extremely dirty glass…
I give this restaurant a one star because of the service. We never did get a chance to try the food. After a short wait for a table, the hostess showed us to our seats very unenthusiastically and as if we were a bother. We had 15 minutes to look at the menu. Not one person came to take a drink order or even acknowledged we were sitting in the restaurant. The booth next to us had a dad and a little boy (about 11 yrs old) and they seemed to be having the same experience as us. We walked out of the restaurant without ever ordering or speaking to waitstaff after 20 minutes of sitting at the Earnhardt table. The dad and the little boy came up to us on the street corner a few minutes later and asked us if we had the same experience. They left without ordering or getting acknowledged by a waitress. My boys are grown up and I am happy that we were together as a family, eating out should be a treat. I REALLY felt sorry for the little boy trying to have a special dinner at this restaurant with his dad.
We were walking around looking for something to eat and we arrived here. The place looked really cool and my daughter instantly wanted to sit in a car to eat. The atmosphere here was very cool and the staff was very friendly. The food came out pretty quickly but was very hit and miss. We had the Mac and cheese side, a flat bread pizza, the victory vegie philly and fries. The pizza and Mac & cheese were horrid, but the fries and the philly were okay. Over all we did enjoy the restaurant, but the food had a lot to be desired.
This place is great, me and my family had dinner there (they’re locals I’m not and it was their first time) and it just amazing! Im glad we picked it at night because there was so much life on the street and on the inside! amazing food ( fries are super super good) the only thing that wasn’t the best was out waiters attitude.. maybe it was a long day for her so I let it slide!
Let me start by saying that we love the concept. Not racing fans but the race cars as tables and memorabilia were cool. We did sit in a car and the kids enjoyed that. We actually originally requested outside seating and was told no because there was no server for that section. Let me also say that our waitress was really nice. One of the hostesses was also very nice. And service was fast. So the issue we had was the food. We ordered wings of different flavors, fries, and pizza. Simply, the food was really generic and was overpriced for the quality. The pizza reminded me of the ones they used to serve in school. The wings were super tiny and were not cooked as requested. We spent over $100 on a meal no one enjoyed and to top it off when we were leaving we noticed 2 parties sitting outside eating when we were told we couldnt.
Bike week hangout and all year around good fun. This is a great place for a drink and some fun!
The food was old , dry. I order stake and they gave me hamberger meat.
We decided to eat here because of the decor which was pretty cool but that’s about all they going for them. The Food and the management was horrible. our server was very Courteous and apologetic as the manager was not and she was rude. She was mad because we sent back our appetizers being cold and then our meals came out cold as well. So the manager came over and Call Jen introduce her self or anything and then charged us a price for food and he didn’t even eat because it was interesting and cold.
Crab cake meal was over $30 and the crab cakes seemed to be about 90% bread, honestly it was hard to tell if there even was any crab in them. Wish I had read the reviews, the prices here are really high for food that’s just…ok.It’s a shame because the atmosphere is cool, the staff was nice, and the food was cooked correctly, just really low quality food at prices that you’d expect better.
**PLEASE KEEP YOUR DRINKS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES**My mom and dad went to Cruisin Cafe for dinner and played some pool. Shortly after, my dad began to feel ill and could tell something was wrong. They quickly left and went back to the hotel (he could barely walk at this point). They both instantly knew someone slipped something into his drink.
My family and I went to lunch here while we were on vacation. Kat, our waitress was wonderful, attentive and friendly. The Ultimate Margarita was true to its name and the food hit the spot. I accidentally left my wallet in our booth and the amazing staff found it and mailed it all the way back to Pennsylvania for me with no problem. Debbie, the manager was so helpful and sweet in getting my wallet returned. She refused to let us pay for the shipping and had to returned to me in just a few days! I cannot wait to go back when I return to Daytona!
I ordered a bacon bacon BLT. The bacon was super raw and rubbery. Only a tiny slice of tomatoe and lettuce. The ad said a choice of bread but only had white. I ate one bite of it. The fries were good and hot. $16 for the sandwich and I asked for a glass of water. $2/bottled water. Others food seemed fine. A salad, pork sandwich, fish n chips. Our bill was $78 plus $25 tip. A girl came into the bathroom crying. She had fallen on water on the floor in front of the bar. The bathroom floor and wall areas were gross with loose concrete or something. Tiles at the front area of the restaurant were torn up and not safe. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. Jennifer? It was quite busy (bike week). She handled it well. All in all, I wouldnt return there, but maybe another time, things would be better.
The atmosphere is BEYOND amazing, the food hits the spot, and the people working here are absolutely the nicest. I cant recommend this place enough! My girlfriend and I ended up here on karaoke night and, although no one was in a singing mood, I didnt see a single unhappy customer anywhere in this place. Visit here and Im sure youll be smiling and enjoying yourself too!
The food and service was awesome and there was a lot of cool stuff to look at
Don’t not eat here! I came here and sat down with some family and none of us ate our food. The first red flag was when our food came out in no less than 10 minutes. Everything was old reheated food. We asked the server for our bill and a couple next to us complained as well so we decided to talk to the manager. She came out and did not care at all about us or the other table. I ended up paying 69 dollars and the people I came with spent 75. None of us ate the food! Do not eat here.
We went here for dinner on a Friday night to attempt to get our kids out for a good night and food. They sat us and we waited on someone to bring drinks for 15 minutes. Waitress finally comes over and gets the drink order and we wait another 15 minutes to get back with those. At this point we’ve been seated for 30 minutes and JUST now have drinks. Our $12 alcoholic beverages came to the table very clearly watered down because they sat on the bar for 20 minutes. At this point our waitress has a horrible attitude and it’s completely obvious she doesn’t want to wait on our mixed race/ blended family. Which is crazy to me because we take excellent care of our wait staff. We order food and it comes out 45 minutes later, all of it is cold from the fries to the burgers. NO ONE ate their food or was even interested in taking it home and somehow we still left with a $160 bill that might I add HAD GRATUITY ADDED ON. Like what? We saw our server three times, no one was able to eat anything, and we left with kids that were SO upset. 100% don’t recommend trying this spot if you are vacationing from out of town and don’t know the area. We will definitely never be back. Also good luck talking to the manager about it because apparently this is the type of place where the customer is always wrong.
Wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone. Their bartender Sierra doesn’t know how to conduct herself and when you say something she doesn’t like she puts her hands on you. She also keeps her boyfriend there and has him hit women after she puts her hands on people.
Our burgers were extremely over cooked. Our waiter was great. The manager on the other hand had a horrible attitude and with no apology she literally just said ok…so how did you order your burgers? Which we said not burnt! She seemed a bit aggravated and just started grabbing our plates. She shouldn’t be working with ppl. Horrible will never ever ever eat here again and way over priced. My daughters pizza literally tasted like store bought pizza.
Old school Daytona Beach bar.......thats all! Not a place for kids. Alcohol galore.....bartender was great though! Drinks were wet amd they did the job
Location is perfect allowing easy access to boardwalk and beach along with many shops nearby . Food is awesome but the atmosphere is down right energetic and friendly
Maybe this is the way its supposed to be? But things are pretty run down, for example take the mens room sink, that thing is basically falling off the wall, so they put up a 4×4 post to good it up. Dont get me wrong, looks just like a bathroom at a mechanics shop. Inside also feels like youre in a mechanics garage, ambience perhaps?Guess we just werent super into it.It wasnt bad just left us expecting more, hence the 3 stars
Stopped here after a day at the beach. We wanted a quick lunch and the signs said they have everything. My kids ordered the pizza, my wife the crab cakes, and I had a burger. The pizza in the menu is regular pizza, they serve a flat bread variation. The crab cake is at best crab flavored, lacking any actual crab. The burger was good, but the acid later was far from worth it.With tip this was nearly a $100 lunch.I urge you to save your money and just hit Chik-fil-a or McDonalds down the street.
Terrible service. We like the atmosphere. We figured we would try one last time. We came here 6 out of the last 8 years we have been coming to Daytona. Food is mediocre and way over priced. We asked for kids menus. Waitress said they didnt have any. We remember having them before. Either way. $125 for 2 adults and 4 kids that couldnt finish half their meal. We all ate cheeseburgers and fountain drinks. Im not a complainer at all. But we had to ask for refills 4 different occasions. We have had good service one time out of the 6. We will not be back. Burgers all tasted burnt. Very sad. Going to miss this place. Was a part of our vacation every year.. Never again.
Place was cute, service was good.We got our food fast. After a few bites, a large chunk of hair came out of the sandwich. Never in my life have I seen something so gross in my food. Not just a single strand, it was like something you would pull out of your shower drain. We didn’t pay for the sandwich of course. They offered us something different but no way would I ever eat anything from that kitchen again.
Horrible experience . Went there the night before bike week started . We placed an order to go and it took 20 minutes and three waitresses to figure out the bill. After 20 minutes the order was finally placed. We ordered three orders of wings and an order of fries. The bill was 45 dollars which seemed really high to me . I asked to see the menu so I could do the math. After the order was placed and i paid the lady I checked the menu and there was no prices for any of the items. When I asked why there were no prices the waitress I am guessing who was in charge stated... There are no prices on the menu because the owner doesnt care to put them on. I then asked her doesnt it seem to be a rather steep price for three orders of wingsand an order of fries? She stated Its bike week and we can charge whatever we want. After already waiting for 20 minutes to place the order and had already paid for the order I didnt want to argue about service and or stand around for another 20 minutes at another joint for food. Note: There was a total of about eight customers between both bars and only two booths with customers in them. After the 40 min walk back we returned to the motel . The food was good but we ordered three different kinds of wings. All three were the same flavor. I cannot imagine how messed up this place would be with a full house. This review is the first I have ever written. I just couldnt let this lousy service go unnoticed.
I have to say what a great place ! Kat was our waitress and was very nice .I had a nice lunch and great margaritas with my niece and wife . Later we realize we lost a wallet while trying to board plane. Called the restaurant and they said they found it and would mail it no problem . This morning Debbie the manager called and said they had mailed the wallet , I asked to pay for bill and she said don’t worry . I can’t say Thank You enough and how nice to deal with great people ! See you all next year !!!!
Came here for a family vacation and just got back home. We went here 3 times throughout our stay and we absolutely loved it, at least the 2 times that we went at night we did. The waitresses both of those times were absolutely adorable and did a great job along with the food being great. The time we went for lunch was still good, but the waitress was kind of rude then, but not too the point where we would not go back, but we mainly will in the evening next time we travel down that way. The atmosphere and music choice was awesome. Definitely our favorite restaurant down there!
This was a good place to eat. The theme is Daytona 500. Lots of memorabilia on display. You eat in racing cars. The food was good. Parking is a problem.
We visited this place coming up from Tampa for a little weekend get a way. Went looking for a little local bar to enjoy a few drinks. This place was awesome, ended up hanging out there both nights we were in town. The Servers were amazing, never had to wait for a drink, always happy to get us what we asked for. All the staff were fun kicked back people. Was nice to be in a bar where everyone was friendly and was only there to drink some drink and have some fun. Will come here every trip to Daytona Beach.
Surely a disappointing lunch.Ordered a chicken breast. No bun. It was so dry and over cooked, even the waitress saw me struggling to eat it..its bad when ya cannot even cut it with a knife.. then the only offer was to make another. I was with a group, and everyone was finishing up their meals and there was no time to reorder.I did not eat but just 3 bites. No compensation at all.Charged me full price a piece of shoe leather.Wont be back.
Loved the karaoke at this place and the staff were not only great at their jobs, theyre good singers too. The nachos are HUGE and will easily feed several people. Good food and good atmosphere all around.
I recommend not getting the Grand Nachos they were anything but Grand
Food was good. Good selection of beers.
Interesting place. It does quite know what it wants to be is. Is it a family restaurant? is it a dive bar? I dont know. The food was awful and overpriced. The drinks were strong and very good. The atmosphere was fun, and the service staff was awesome.I did have a good time, but I am not sure Id return. If I did, it would be for drinks only.
They have flies, it is warm, and there is loud music, but the seating is fun and they have a pool table and other games. Also, when I dropped my phone it was very dirty when I picked it back up.
I sat at the bar. Plenty of beverage selections, and a fun race themed environment. The bartenders (Elena and Laura) were top tier! Very professional, always there when you needed them, and social when they had a few spare moments to chat. Overall a great experience!
Service here is horrible. They have some kid working here. There is no customer service at ALL!
Loved the fish basket just as much as the last time. Grandsons wolfed down a mushroom burger, a shrimp basket and a chicken tenders basket. All were stuffed. Fries are still the best!
Ate there last night. Food was good overall (except the fish). Fries were delicious. But the lack of cleanliness was actually scary. The bathrooms were awful. There was food under my table from who-knows-when.So, would I go there again? If they cleaned the place up, yes. If not, nooooooooo.
Awesome service - this place is amazing and the decor is perfect for race fans of all ages!
It was a super busy day long line, long wait BUT WORTH IT. Hats off to our waitress & the manager Thank you for the amazing nachos we truly enjoyed it
Great staff , good karaoke DJ . The price of drinks a little high but other thanthat great time to be had .
Decent place. Asked to sit in a particular car, was told something about the sections, turned around a few mins later and saw them sitting another group at the table we asked for. Do feel the price of the food was high. 5 of us ate, 1 bacon cheeseburger, 2 Vegas burgers, 1 pulled pork, 1 deep fried hot dog with bacon and macaroni on it, a side of gator tail (small portion) and 4 sodas and 1 water... $108.00... service was slow..... waitress was nice but definitely need to work on wait time....
Food was okay at best. Every aspect of the service was very slow. We ordered simple, cold items as it was a hot day and yet it took over thirty minutes to get our food. Server walked by three times after giving us a small box before finally asking if we were ready for the bill. Common sense says we were ready once we had the box.
Had lunch here on vacation and it was a neat experience! Staff was very friendly, food was good and the atmosphere captured the spirit of any racing fan. Can’t speak to the bar experience at night, but a great option to stop in for lunch while walking the shops there locally.
We sat outside to enjoy the ocean breeze, the bikes, and to people watch. Service was excellent! Our waitress anticipated our needs and was prompt with taking our order, getting the drinks, and delivering our check. We ordered a chicken basket and a fish basket. Both were really good..fries served in basket were seasoned and crispy. We will definitely return to try some other menu items.
Charged $2 for water. And each additional water... food is high which was to be expected but not worth it. Seeing the old nascar stuff was cool but thats about it
Never given a review before but was treated poorly as someone from out of country. Denied my card that has worked 2 weeks straight no problems then all I had in cash was Canadian so they asked for 20$ for $5?!(already overpriced) beer... Yea right.. conversion rate is around 1.26 for reference.. so $6.30, ended up giving a ten....
Food was expensive, cold and terrible. Service was terrible and we decided to give it a second shot but ended up waiting an hour for our food. Our drinks were long gone as was our server. But she was quick to get our bill and grab the cash. Only came here a second time because one of my sons is a Nascar fan. He said , never again mom
Its a main st staple that can be fun during bike week events. Cool memorabilia . Its alm18ost like depending on the look of the staff is where all the obnoxious men sit and if youre looking for a meal I dont recommend unless taking Togo. Used to be a restaurant now more of a nasty smelling fğ
Ill see a lot of 4 star reviews which I find surprising considering the food quality is lowest I have seen in a restaurant in Daytona. More of a fast food taste.. The décor is outdated and needs repair. My waitress performed her duties flawlessly. I spent $20 on a hamburger French fries and a Pepsi. I do not feel like I got my moneys worth.
This has got to be the absolute worst restaurant ive ever been to. All my friends and I (we were 6 in total) hated our experience.First things first, the atmosphere and overall vibe is trashy, musty, and darkly lit to the point of absurdity. I may be able to excuse things such as this if at least the food was good. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I and 2 others in my party ordered the bacon mac and cheese deep fried hotdog. The actual hotdog itself was barely passable, but the mac n cheese tasted strange to all of us. I also saw that on the menu, they offered chocolate french fries which already sounded bizarre and preposterous, but something possessed me to order them anyway since they were in fact on the menu and I was feeling adventurous. Spoiler alert, they were dreadful. But by far the worst offender was one of my other party members orders which was called the super bird which was a grilled chicken sandwich. Upon first bite, my friend was absolutely revolted and spat it out because he said it was dry, bland, and had an odd texture. He let everyone else in the group try a piece to help us understand what he meant and when I tried my piece I can quite honestly say that it was the worst chicken I had ever had the displeasure of putting anywhere near my tastebuds. On top of all that, the prices of these items are way too high, especially for their quality, but even if all the food was at least decent, hypothetically speaking, I still would say the prices are a little too expensive especially when compared to other restaurants that offer similar menu items. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this dump.
When I visited quite busy for a sunday surprisingly. Although it was quiet despite the crowd. I prefer more places more lively. Nice bartender and quick especially with how many people were at the bar. Drinks arent too pricey either.
This was my second time going to this restaurant and they have let me down. My first experience was nice the environment and the food was nice that I decided to take my nephew for his birthday and the awful second experience they gave us made me feel foolish for even considering taking my family to this restaurant. We were told it was a 30-45 min wait which we were okay with they told us to wait at the bar they would look for us which was a lie since they were seating larger parties than mine even though I even called before and was told it was first come first serve we wanted to order drinks at the bar and the bartenders ignored us we spoke to someone at the bar counting the cash and they said someone will be with us shortly and no one even looked at us or apologized for the wait. We never received service and end up leaving. The customer service here made me never want to recommend nor bring no one back to this restaurant.
Great place to have fun and hang out..Jessica and Shelby are always fun to hang with and are great bartenders during special events. They are main reason the wife and I go there. They go above and beyond and are very friendly..
We came down for bike week and loved the place for the first 3 days. We made our usual arrival tonight to have a few beers and enjoy the atmosphere. A friend and I was walking around when one of the girls dancing in the raised dancers boths didnt feel as if she got tipped enough and decided to start lashing me across the face 3 times before I got out of her reach. And no I had no contact nor did I say or approach her in anyway. I have been in law enforcement since 1999 and would definitely consider this as assault. Im very disappointed in this behavior and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Food was overpriced but pretty good. Service is good and most of the staff are very friendly. Drink prices are high. Place is a tourist trap In my opinion. DJ playing music most nights and karaoke weekly. Race car shaped booths are a novelty for the tourists. Unlikely we visit this place again.
I was from out of town visiting Daytona beach for the first time and decided to go to this place last minute with a friend and OMG! This a Friday night the DJ was great, I loved our waitress/ bartender such a sweetie, she was funny had us laughing all night. If your having a bad day she will get you right!
Lived in Daytona most of my life. This has always been my go to place. Servers, bartenders are extremely friendly. Also very knowledgeable of there menus. Its a great place to take kids during the day. Come evening time its more for adults to hang out and have a great time. Food is excellent. If your on a special diet they accommodate.
The music was very loud, but thats what they were going for. I was skeptical when I saw the race car theme (the tables are actually made to look like cars). But the menu looked very interesting. The super steak quesadilla was very good, the fries were awesome, and the service was top notch.
Good place. Decent food. Drinks great although their shot prices are high. They have a nice selection of draft beers both imported, craft beers and domestic selections. Best thing on the menus are the burgers! Big...juicy and very tasty. Right on the corner of Atlantic (A1A) and Main Street. Enjoy your burgers sitting in replica car booths.
Sat at the outside bar and enjoyed a nice evening. Our bartender Amanda was amazing. The drink menu had many choices and she had some great drink suggestions. This was intended to be the first stop in a night of bar hopping but we ended up staying there the whole night. The garlic parmesan fries were fantastic as well.
I think the burgers are really good. They taste like theyre grilled on an open flame, not a flat top stove. My wife really likes the Philly steak. Its gonna cost you but it has a nice appearance with the race car seats.
The food was absolutely garbage, talladega burger was unseasoned and the meat itself was disgusting. Had that ordered with the gravy fries with cold gravy. The appetizer nachos had cold cheese on it could barely eat it when it’s suppose to serve 3-4 at 17 dollars. Brought the kids and they don’t have a kids menu, wasn’t explained that a side of fries was almost 10 dollars itself, so in total we paid 42 dollars for 2 kids chicken tender meals. Overall awful experience. Wouldn’t even recommend it if you were drunk.
Just had cocktails...excellent drinks and service
Went there for dinner during our vacation to Daytona Beach. Burgers and wings were great, service was excellent. My only complaint is that the two unisex bathrooms were filthy. One lacked soap and the other toilet paper. Yuck! Would recommend but that toilets need a good once over. Always enjoy coming here when in Daytona although every time when sitting at bar instead of tables the bartenders were miserable and not friendly at all, couldnt careless if you were there or not
Large menu with standard bar food (wings, burgers, pizza, sandwiches) and pretty average quality. Service is friendly and was fast on the day we were there though the place was pretty dead due to covid. They make it seem family friendly with race car tables in the restaurant area but the bar which you have to walk through first is more adult oriented.
Our waitress was a sweet elderly lady who was trying to wait on the entire restaurant because the two younger waitresses stood at the bar socializing . My daughter ordered a burger well done and it was brought to her still very much pink, my husband and myself ordered the taco and nachos and neither of which had any meat. I guess the cook is a vegetarian. The place is very cool as far as looks but leaves a lot to be desired as far as for the actual food. I do not mind paying 80.00 for a good dinner but even the doggy wouldnt have wanted this doggie bag. Someone should give our waitress a raise because getting tips with co workers and food of such poor value must be difficult
The food was horrible. The chips were stale snd burnt. The sandwich was like Walmart meat and very small. Mac cheese tasted old no cheese taste. The worst 125.00 I ever spent. 3 adults and 3 children. No alcohol
I would STEER away from this place when visiting Daytona 🤢 Wings over cooked, Bacon Fried in deep fryer...and Even the FRIES tasted horrible!!! How do you mess up French fries!!? We had a long drive from Saint Augustine to home and thought Daytona might have a decent place to eat...I was WRONG! Service took forever and the place is loud and unsanitary. Server did her best...
We loved it. The 20+ year establishment is like stepping back in time to Daytona’s racing roots. We ordered the garlic Parmesan boneless wings, the fish and chips and for desert, the peanut butter explosion and NOTHING disappointed. All of it was very tasty and hot. Our server Beth was very attentive and has charming charisma, ask for her table, you won’t be disappointed. Cruisin Cafe is a “must visit” spot if you’re in Daytona Beach.
Visiting in from Cincinnati, this was our first meal of visiting and it was not the right choice lmao. Our waitress was polite and did well. But the food was HORRIBLE and the price was ridiculous. $72 for Mac n cheese (kids size) fries, a pizza and 2 white claws. Would not recommend.
This was a really fun place to stop the very first time I took my family to Daytona Beach. My brother-in-law and I went over there and had a couple of beers, got a bite to eat and we enjoyed ourselves very thoroughly. Everything was fine the atmosphere was great people were in a good mood and the staff was exceptionally friendly and professional.
Very disappointing experience. Service was absolutely horrible and the food sucked. The restaurant was empty an some how it still took forever to get our food. When I finally arrived it was cold an NOT correct. To make matters worse we could see through the kitchen doors an saw the server standing on the table where the food came out from behind the line (she was short) when we addressed it to management she offered to discount the meal. We said we would pay either way but she insisted on it. When the checked arrived (on one bill when we specifically order under 3 separate tabs) there was a whopping $7.50 taken off a $160 Tab. Wft. As a retail store manger I was embarrassed for the manager that had to try an justify an employee standing where food sits. Even my 5 yr old knows you don’t stand on stuff. This place is a joke. Do NOT waste your hard earned vacation money on this place. You will be VERY disappointed!
My kids were excited to eat here. After a 45ish minute wait, we were called to be seated. We were taken to a NASCAR car booth (AWESOME! Its just what the wanted!). BUT...-the doors and windows were open, it was humid and hot as hell. The fan over our section wasnt on or working.-we set for about 10 minutes, looking over the menus (which were filthy), before anyone spoke to us. We know that all of these places are under staffed, so we tried to be patient.)-the menus had no kids options. Therefore, my 7yo would have had to eat a $17 burger. NO WAY-we decided to leave, between all of this, and went elsewhere. It was likely a good choice.
