Overly crowded, they allowed mor people in and employees were complaining about it.So hot inside and the tables were mostly standing inside

This spot was a great time. I enjoyed myself and they brought out a lot of favored artists like Fab, Dave East, and Meleii. My girls night out was fulfilled with a fun night of dancing. The owner was so helpful and generous as well and tendedTo our needs.

Saturday night experience: we went to this club for a birthday celebration; and based on reviews that were decent we decided to give it a try. The reservation part was smooth however they took time to take the deposit and confirm the reservation until the night before. We were promised a flyer included in the package (2 premium bottles, 1 champagne, 1 hookah and a cake). Doors open at 10 pm as posted online but we were allowed to go in around 1030 pm without considering it was a cold night and waiting outside. The bouncers outside are rude and unprofessional. We were told that before 12 am there was no admission fee but the lady on the counter was persistently asking for the admission fee which was waived after talking with the bouncer. They made us hang our coats for $9 dollars a hanger which we consider is a ripoff. Once inside the club, the hostess did not have any idea of our reservation. The club was clean, the music was fine but very loud and the waitress was efficient and polite. Everything was given as promised except for the flyer and the cake. Overall, this place deserves 2 stars. I would not consider going there again neither I recommend it.

The night that I went, they had an awesome DJ playing. A good mix of trap and salsa and bachata and good stuff. But it was overpriced.UPDATE: went again tonight (12/30/2017), and the bouncer kicked me and my date out, saying that I was in possession of a bottle and drinking out of that bottle (I’m only 20). Wrongfully accused me of this, just after my date dropped $100 for the bottles for the birthday boy that was there. We spoke with management, and they dealt with us nicely. It was just shady how quickly it happened, especially after we paid. It was almost like they were waiting for them to pay before they started kicking people out. I could understand and respect them if I was drinking and they caught me. But the fact that I was not drinking and with a group of people who just paid a good chunk of money for bottles, they saw the opportunity to kick me out and make free money off of admission and coat check (at the very least). I support integrity in local businesses, but honestly I feel scammed. Thank you to management who dealt with our concerns so well, but please, select sober and honest bouncers.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I Was here last weekend for a friends birthday and had a terrible experience. One of the bouncers referred to my friend as a “midget” & when I asked to speak to a manager to confront him about this disrespect, he was worse than his employees. When speaking with the manager he had no class, smoking a cigarette and blowing the smoke in my face. When I told the manager how disrespected I felt after spending a lot of money at this place, he said “I agree it was disrespectful but what are you looking for? An apology? Because you’re not going to get it.” Completely disgusting employees and management. Low class people, low class employees and low class management while they charge high class prices. The place smells like bleach and has a horrible vibe. The whole place is foggy the entire time from a fog machine (corny), music is extremely loud that when you leave you can’t hear for a good 30 minutes, and the music is so annoying while no one is dancing. No variety in music just the same annoying songs all night. Overpriced and not worth it. Plenty of other places in the area that will treat you like you’re actually wanted there.

Music was good , staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. We ordered hookah and someone who came in after us got theirs first, we had to tell the workers that we didn’t get ours and when it did come it was the wrong flavor. We ordered a refill and it was burnt to a crisp. Music is great but don’t waste money on amenities.

Had the worst experience of my life today at this location. Spoke with manager Frank about the terrible service and was provided with no solution. I paid for a ticket online that was not honored at the door and bouncer tried to force me to pay an extra ticket. The security and staff treat you like animals. Trust me, if you have any respect for yourself stay away from this place. The staff are rude and will treat you like garbage. Who is responsible for the management of this place because this establishment should be closed down. They overpack their venue and defy so many regulations. This encounter will not end here though as I will be filing a report with the city.

The prices for the bottle are way to expensive also our bottle girl was inefficient first she take so long for charge us and then for bring the bottle. We have to call her many times for more glasses, juice, etc while she was dancing with some guys during work. I know the music can be better and have more options.

So I recently went to SL lounge on saturday June 30, 2018, to start off there parking sucks. But its free before 12 and they play good music. I been here multiple times and in the past have also done bottle service with other friends so it didnt matter. So my brother decided to do bottle service for his birthday we did the most expensivr packacge they had which totals out to about 1,000$. It was a group of about 20 people and they wanted give us only 2 tables they hold about 4 people per table but lady “spoke” to her boss and got 1 more extra table. Than we order the bottles we wanted and they didnt have ciroc and we wanted 3 so we told lady to please look and she “found” 1. w.e we got bottles, bottle girls have nice bodies, everything was good. Later that night i went to bathroom with my girlfriend because i and wanted to throw up and my friend went in the stall with me and left the the door open. there was no one in bathroom and nor was anyone waiting to use bathroom. But spanish lady in bathroom made it a big deal like my girlfriend and i were going to do something when in the past ive always went to bathroom with someone else no problem. But because my girlfriend dresses boyish it was a problem and she called security and there was a male security in the bathroom with us. My girlfriend comfronted him and he didnt like it and than decided to kick us out. They also do have women security guards. We were being discriminated even after we go there a lot and did bottle service. Guy cut my girlfriend and I band of and told us to go because i was done but i wasn’t, I was fully aware we were being discrimating. Luckily we ask to speak to their boss Steve and he told us there was no probelm and gave us new bands and told us were fine to stay. Securitys were in the wrong and their boss noticed and let us stay. Never ever had a bad experience with this place till this saturday unfortunately, always loved coming to this place, the music, the drinks and everything.

Went there for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Staff were helpful in explaining, but not the friendliest. Music was good, at least for my taste. Reggaeton, rap, pop, bachata, salsa, merengue. Pretty pricey, 42 dollars for 3 shots of Henny. Had a good time, though.

There was absolutely no salsa, cumbia, merengue, nothing other than trap music and no one was dancing. Drinks, even a water bottle was overpriced. The workers were rude and unhelpful. My partner and I left disappointed. His $30 entrance wasnt worth it.

I make reservations with my friends to se a live show (oro solido) and the people who work there are horrible. They just trying to get your money anyhow. I had guest list for 6 of my friends and the flyier said it was free before 12 am. We arrive early and one of my friend forgot to get a ticket from the guess list guy on the line. He end up paying $20 and it was 11:35. We spoke to the manager to try to get his money back as we was getting a bottle but they just rude and all theres nothing we can do shtt. Thats how the get you. Then the flyier said free hookah and open bar before 12am. Bull💩 Not even my girl could get free drinks or hookah supposedly we need to have a table and stand up table dont count. There was no way to argue with no body they just ignore you. Other than that show was awesome.

Once the smoke clears we can see that the staff have no idea what they are doing. It took about 5 staff members to get my order of salchipapas to me and even then it took over an hour to arrive. How long does it take to make them. There was 4 food trucks outside that made it much faster. SL should stand for slow.

Personally I feel like the crowd that attends this lounge are a little immature. I’m over 21 and I don’t understand why the entire night bouncers were eyeing me all night, I honestly felt uncomfortable. The bottle pricing is seriously overpriced also. The music was alright , I felt like it was a little repetitive.

I went with my girl friends to this place on friday. Its a good place to dance and drink, a lot of different kinds of music which i like, bottle girls not rude but it couldnt hurt if they could not look at everybody like on enemy. The bad side of this club is a lot of guys who walk through and touch you and bother you. Some of securities they would change. We took a table and right behind us there was a security who was watching us all night just because one of our friends is 20, but when there came a guy who obviously was bothering us and didnt wanna leave he did nothing. Even after i was looking at him and giving him a hints to get rid of the guy security just left. Like really man. They should pay me and my friends whos 53 because we were better securities for ourselves than guys whos over 6 tall 🤦🏼‍♀️ also if you dont have a card with a chip be ready to take out money from atm before coming in. They dont accept cards which dont have a chip.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The cover was 20 dollars for some mediocre music. the pricey drinks tasted like straight up soda and the hookah was weak the 10 minutes it lasted. TRASH.

I love when they have the Open bar and free entrance in the guest list. Sometimes the music is too loud. But overall its an ok place.

Ive been to every disco in Elmhurst and no place compares to Sl. This is place is really good, the free entry before 12 and the open bar its great!
