Leslie at the Escondido location was fantastic! I went in with aof tension in my neck, shoulders and back. She put her time and attention to the exact areas on need - very skilled. So grateful and appreciative.

I have been a long time client of this location and have a ton of hours. Back in April I gifted my youngest daughter a facial, and paid the $10 to transfer an hour to her for that facial. I let her know tip wasnt included and know, cause shes mine, she left a good tip. Today my daughter said shed like to get a massage, she has never had one. I called to transfer an hour of my time to her to try it out and was told I could not. You gave her an hour in April. Ummm these are my hours right? I gave her a facial months ago, not a massage, and in the YEARS Ive been your client thats the only transfer Ive done to her. The young woman says Ill go talk to my manager. I had asked for the name of the owner of that franchise. I was not transferred to the manager but the young woman did offer to send me a copy of my contract. My entire extended family goes to this massage envy. How was this good business? The last person I gifted an hour massage to ended up signing up to become a member. Im an easy client, not demanding, tip well, show up on time, so tell me why today I dont feel like a valued customer at all. Ill buy my youngest daughter a massage but Ill tell you I wont buy it from here cause Im irked now. In the YEARS Ive had my membership Ive transferred a single facial to my youngest daughter one time, so its not me its them. Members beware. They really arent your hours to do with as you choose. I remember the good ole days where loyal customers were valued, that is not the case here.

My friend Cindi and I are on a girls trip and Kim from boston was my massage therapist in the escondido location.She was great got every ache. Very friendly listened to the areas of concern. Felt great after will definitely return thanks Marion

Elisa made me a loyal customer. She is a fantastic massage therapist- always listens to my needs and adjusts as necessary. She has helped relieve so much of my pain and has extensive knowledge of the body and how things work which is a huge benefit to her sessions.

Leslie did amazing! it’s like she knew exactly where i was feeling tight the most. definitely coming back to book with her. the facility was also so amazing!

Elena is amazing as usual my face is as smooth as a baby and I got compliments all day long. I got the micro infusion with vitamin C and I highly recommended.

I had scheduled an appointment for 10:00 AM but was unable to attend. When I contacted the office to cancel, I was informed that I would be charged the full price. The Appointment Cancellation Policy states:“Please arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to ensure a full session. You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours preceding your appointment. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.”According to the aforementioned policy, since I called on the same day at 9:50 AM, I should have been charged 50% of the scheduled service price. However, I was informed that there exists an internal policy, which is not posted anywhere on the website, requiring notification at least one hour prior to the appointment.This internal policy directly contradicts the officially posted and publicly accessible policy. If there are discrepancies between internal policies and those that are publicly accessible, it is incumbent upon the office to clearly communicate these differences to clients. Failure to do so results in the appearance of arbitrary and capricious decision-making.

I love Mindys style of massage therapy and I so appreciate her. She pays specific attention to areas that are tight and sore! She and Katrina are my go-tos and favs. And I love Elena - so knowledgeable and I appreciate how much she cares about my skin, well-being and listens to what is important to me!

I felt so welcomed upon arrival by the staff! Veronica was great! We had good conversation and she found an area that needed help! I’ll definitely book her again!

Gerome is amazing! Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. He’s strong and has a great fluidity - the perfect balance of a therapeutic massage and ultimate relaxation.

Im giving 5 stars since Leslie was AMAZING and had that firm, deep massage technique I needed and was looking for. Dont let her small stature fool you, she can really work those problems areas and get those knots out!I dont want to detract from reviewing Leslie, but the salon itself would have only gotten 3 stars. I came all the way from Mission Valley to get a massage at this location while my car was getting serviced and when I showed up they had no record of my appt or my account or my history of going to the now closed Rancho Penasquitos location even though I had emails showing I had an account. I was able to luckily secure the 1pm appt and get to work with Leslie but the fact that a massage business can just magically have no record of anything is quite concerning and very frustrating from a customer standpoint.

I have been a member at Massage Envy for a good number of years. My favorite masseuse left Massage Envy for another job. I didnt think I would be able to find another masseuse that gave a really good deep massage. It took me three tries before I found Jerome. This guy is amazing. He gives you a very deep massage from start to finish. He is also a pleasure to converse with. If youre looking for a deep massage, I highly recommend Jerome!

This review is for the therapist Katrina in the Escondido location. After having a horrible session earlier this year, I was recommended to see her to make up for it. Shes booked very far out and was well worth the wait. She did an amazing job!

My hydrafacial with Jenna was wonderful!It was my second treatment and the results have made a noticeable improvement. She’s experienced and a lovely person.

I really enjoy my time with Kim, she provides such amazing massage services and is so pleasant to converse with. She takes the time to get to know you and your stressors and adjust the services to ensure your treatments are targeted those needs. I have been visiting the Escondido location for years and all the staff and accommodations are top notch.

The staff at the Escondido location are customer friendly. Although I walked in without an appointment they were able to accommodate my schedule. Brianna was great!

I got the microdermabrasion facial with Elena and I highly recommend her and this treatment. She is very thorough and takes her time to cover all problem areas I mentioned. The massage portion was very soothing and I left much more relaxed than I had expected. My skin looks noticeably younger one day later.

Massage overall was ok, but not great and they stopped 7 minutes short of the 60 minute massage I paid for. Overall felt just like a customer who walked in and picked a number, quite impersonal. I had never been to a Massage Envy before, so maybe this is just how things are done there, I don’t know, but I wouldn’t go back.

I had a nice & relaxing massage by Veronica. Shes able to listen and follow directions well. I had a great experience over all.

I have been going to see Elena for my facials for years. I always leave feeling so revived. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. It always feels like a little escape from my hectic working mom life. She will give you tips and advice for home care for in-between visits. She is just great at what she does and I absolutely adore her.

If you are looking to get rid of tension and stress, Elisa is amazing. Her deep tissue massage really helped with my neck and shoulder pain. Such a difference! Gerome is also incredible and gets those knots out!

Moise is seriously The best masseuse ever. So many times I have walked in to an appointment with him when I had sore muscles and/or tight knots and walked out feeling like a million bucks. 🤩

My last two massages were with Moise. Those massages were the most thorough of all massages I’ve had in the last few years. Just the right amount of pressure and care. Moise listened to my needs and created a treatment plan expertly targeting my focus areas. In addition, he uses stretching to complement the massage. He also gives homework for post massage therapy which help continue to work my focus areas. Absolutely superb!

Been getting massages from Josh lately and they’ve helped me release tightness around my back, neck and shoulders. He employs just the right amount of pressure without feeling painful.

This place isn’t luxury and front desk staff isn’t the friendliest, but it gets the job done and there is real talent at this location. Ask for Elisa or Katrina for full body massage.

My masseuse was Alisa and she was excellent. Her hand pressure was consistent and strong, and her technique was good. She smoothly transitioned from different areas of my body. She also adapted to my requests of how firm I wanted the pressure in certain troubled areas. Her manner was professional, yet friendly and we had a nice conversation as well.

Yesterday I had my scheduled treatment with. Britney. Four days ago I was in a car accident and had stiffness in my muscles. I told Britney my problems and she gave me an excellent treatment. My range of motion and flexibility greatly improved. I had the best nights sleep after her treatment. She did awesome. Britney is my favorite therapist at this location.

Here’s a shout out to Katrina. Perfect pressure, and her attention to detail, such as her own blend of massage cream, makes all the difference!

Moises is an amazing Massage Therapist! I was extremely tight in my neck. Most of the time if I have someone work on my neck I regret it the next day. His expertise showed. My neck and body truly is relieved today(the next day) He has gentle but firm strength and it was just the right touch for me.The universe needs Moise. Book now...you wont be sorry!

Great hands...good listener to what I wanted. Only thing that kept it from five stars is that it ended five minutes early and on a 60 minute massage that is 1/10 of the time. And yes, I know that a 60 is 50 hands on. Thanks!

Brie is the absolute best! She always takes a few minutes to check in with me beforehand to see if there are any area we can focus on. Her techniques are unmatched! She is my go-to massage therapist for her amazing skills and I always enjoy when we get to chat before and after my appointment! I have struggled with lower back pain for the past few years. Medication, PT does not seem to work but a visit to Brie always does the trick! She is familiar with various pressure points and I always walk out pain free.

The massage was okay but the atmosphere was terrible. It was difficult to relax when you hear EVERYTHING. Employees gossiping, other massage therapist speaking quite loudly to their clients after their treatments. Not to mention that their workers PUSH you to try and get a membership there, and for add-ons to your session. I tipped the lady that did my massage, since I know what its like to live on tips, however for a 90min massage, $10 aromatherapy, and tip...it was $150 for terrible atmosphere, and an okay massage. Wont be coming back. $10 bottle of aromatherapy below 🤦

Therapeutic and relaxing massage...I plan on seeing Josh on a regular basis because Deep Tissue - I received from him yesterday - is one of the best Ive ever experienced. Hes highly skilled and deeply intuitive.

I had a great massage Saturday the 4th. I had never had an appointment with Katrina before, but have to say it was one of the best I have had since going to Message Envy. Although all the appointments I have had with any number of therapists, I would rate this one at the top.Thank you 😊

Not that it was bad but my back hurt worse after going. It’s the next day and back pain I didn’t have before is still here. He did the same down ward stroke toward my low back (for honestly 50% of the time) and didn’t finish at the sacrum instead pushing my low back into extension over and over again. Did one upward stroke lengthening the QL but only did it once and only on one side. I could have been more vocal about it but I assumed or trusted he was about to change it up eventually like maybe there was a reason for it. My bad there. Was really rough with the my neck and hardly spent any time there. Literally 40 minutes he stayed at my upper back when I said everything spine, hips, and neck, especially glutes/hips and neck. Moral of the story, make sure you are really vocal early on if you run into the same experience.

Elisa was very friendly and attentive. She continued to check in with me to make sure that the pressure was comfortable and addressed all of my areas of tightness and soreness. I especially liked the hot towel treatment!

Jenna is incredible! She is so skilled as an esthetician. She is incredibly knowledgable in skin care.

No matter how long you are a member, how much you pay, any massages you pay for, as soon as you want to stop paying and being a continuing member, you lose all your accrued massages that you have paid for and not yet used up. Massage Envy polices are unethical, and borderline theft. Had 10 massages accrued, had an appt scheduled, and since I wanted to stop paying since they raised my membership price twice in about a year, they said I would not be let back for my massage until I gave them more money and kept paying going forward. I know multiple people with lots and lots of massages accrued. Policy written so massage envy can take unused massages or keep customers into memberships that they do not want to continue paying for. Super unethical.

Jenna has been my aesthetician for several years. If I could give her ten stars I would. She is exceptional is every way!

All the stars!!! Omg... if you have the opportunity, book Josh for a 90min full body. I have had dozens of massages at ME, as well as various 5 star resort spas, and it was by far the BEST massage of my life. He was incredibly thourough and didnt rush through anything. I felt absolutely AMAZING afterwards and the experience was INCREDIBLE. I feel like I found a Massage Envy unicorn!

Gerome knows how to stretch and knead my 70+ year old body so that the knots disappear and are not replaced with next day soreness.

Was not the best experience. My hour long massage was cut way short, and I had no idea until I got into the car and saw what time it was. I got about a 40 min massage since the massage therapist was about 5-10 min late, and my massage ended 10 min early. The massage itself was mediocre, not great, not bad.

I regularly come and see Precilla, her technique is perfect. Her pressure is lighter and more relaxing and she is patient enough to focus on areas where there are knots. The rest of the staff is generally always nice, I seem to see different people at the front most times but everyone that I have spoken to has been kind and helpful.

Brianna is amazing! She gives me space to rest and is pro at relieving tension without causing pain.

I was a member at the Rancho Bernardo location for years that is now closed...bummed. I recently went to the Escondido location and it was not a good experience. While I was waiting for my appt. (which the therapist was late) The front desk was gossiping about the other employees and someone in a white coat came out scolded and ranted on about them not placing an order. I went to get a massage to get away from tension but instead I walked right into it. Very unprofessional. I have been a member for years at Rancho Bernardo and have never experienced the tension like I did in Escondido. Disappointing. The massage was ok

Dominique Brewer was RUDE and very unprofessional! I left an email to franchise with my complaint and the last person I expected to respond with their half ass apology was the same person I complained about! Thats the last person I wanted to speak to- I was refused my massage due to a medication I am on. However, I just had a massage two weeks prior at a different location and they didnt have a problem with the medication I was on. I demanded a refund since I was denied service and was refused that too- I had a membership with 6 massages prepaid for but since I canceled my membership, all of my massages were automatically expired?!?!! No one ever told me that! This place is a joke- I do not recommend this place!!!!

Been going there for quite a few years and it seems it gets worse.High turnover with personnel, very expensive, seems the masseuses dont get much of a break between sessions. The sessions are not 1 hour. Theyre actually 45 to 50 mins considering they always come out about 5 minutes after my appointment, then you have a few minutes discussing what you want then they leave and come back 5 minutes or more later.Front desk are usually friendly but cant make decisions when there is an issue to be solved. They always have to get back to you.Ive been lazy and a procrastinator when it comes to ending my account......but thats going to change in few days.The masseuses are all completely different in their approach and not very knowledgeable for the most partIm going to use up my saved sessions, then canceling my account.

Aesthetician was a NO SHOW! I arrived early, filled out paperwork, and waited. Receptionist surprised I was still there and went to check. I came out of waiting area 20 min after my appointment was to have started to be told she DIDN’T SHOW UP! I read all the similar reviews but thought, naw...can’t really be that bad. But it was!!!

I was a member of Massage Envy for one year. 6 months after I stopped my membership they made an unauthorized charge. I called them and they said they would correct it. Two weeks later it was still on my account. I called again and was told it was an IT problem they were working on and a manager would call me back. No one EVER called me back. I had to call my bank to dispute this charge. My bank said this was not an unusual practice for Massage Envy. Whatever good experience I had is long gone and I am warning everyone to stay clear!!!

Very unprofessional place!! I made an appointment with specific date and time. Its the day of my appointment, I show up and the receptionist tells me that they apologize but my massage therapist had to cancel and at THAT time, they couldnt find my number to notify me. Really now? Couldnt find my number? But yet at the time of booking my appointment they bombarded me with questions getting my contact information. Clearly the name and phone number are the first two questions they ask you, OH and your credit card information. They cant forget that! So, they couldnt find my number to call and cancel??? I really needed this massage and they didnt even bother to notify me until I was at their location. They are very unprofessional with communication. No wonder this place has a 3 star rating. I would give a zero if I could. I will NEVER come here again!

Steer clear of this place. They are more than happy to sign you up and take your money for a membership, but be forewarned: when its time to cancel, which they promise is something that is easy to do, they will rip you off for more money.A few months ago, I walked in to cancel my membership, and the woman at the front desk told me I could freeze my account for up to 6 months with no payments, no penalties, etc. In fact, she ENCOURAGED me to freeze my account.I called today to cancel my membership and was told I will be charged another $60 to reactivate my membership so it can be canceled. Huh? Let me get this straight, I have to reactivate my membership, pay you more money, and then youll cancel it? I now understand why they ENCOURAGED me to freeze my membership.i explained to them that I was never told about this. Had I not been mislead by them and lied to, I would have cancelled and not frozen my membership when I first asked about this a few months ago. They didnt care they just kept repeating the same thing over and over again talking to me like I was an idiot and this was my fault. They kept referring to policy and the agreement I originally signed. They didnt care that their staff mis-communicated with me, lied, mislead, etc. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied.This place is an f-ing rip off. I never would have joined had I known this is how they treat customers. Join at your own risk!

This place isnt open. I was there October 4th 2020 for 30min outside waiting for someone to open. I left to Ross went shopping came back and still not open. No one answers the phone either, I left a voice mail. Still no response an hr later. Im from Chicago and a message envy member, so for this to be my first massage in california really sucked.
