Love Gervais! As soon as I walk in I feel more relaxed. They always greet you right away, and offer tea or citrus water. (And you can ask for wine as well!) Christine is my stylist and she is wonderful. Does a great job with my cut and color, and scalp massage during the shampoo. (With a warm towel on my neck) My most recent visit I bought a shampoo and when I got home I realized they had included a few travel size products as well. What a treat!
I had my first cut with Christine, and I was so very pleased with the whole experience. The road construction in downtown seriously set me back, so I arrived late, which I understand is difficult for folks working with such a tight schedule of clients. Yet, I was treated with compassion and courtesy as soon as I stepped in the door.Christine took the time to understand what my wishes were, and fully assessed my hair prior to moving forward. Shes down-to-earth, professional and truly skilled at her craft.This is probably the best cut Ive ever had! Even with bed-head this morning, Im super pleased with how well the cut is! I have naturally curly hair, and she did a dry cut first - she has a very good skill set around working with texture.
I have seen Kelly twice now for a haircut and I don’t think I’ll be able to see anyone else!! She is a true artist and I have never received so many compliments on my hair before. Her expertise and technique for making a haircut suited to your facial features is unmatched!!

Grace is the therapeutic massage queen! She is adept at pinpointing exactly what your muscles need to release, with just the right amount of pressure. Best massage I’ve ever had! I will be a new regular.
Erik did a superb job. It was more of a drastic cut, as I came in with long curly hair, which I feel is kinda tricky. But they knew exactly what to, and took great care from start to finish. I just had the best massage at Gervais with Grace . She is very attuned to it being your time and she does a special massage where it is slower and it feels incredible ! She called it myofacial massage . And I am going to go to her from now on. I have been a loyal customer to Gervais for more than 16 years , so I have had many a good massage ! Massages are my favorite thing to pamper myself with and asked for them as birthday and Christmas gifts !! All their massages are good but Grace was FABULOUS !!

I was given a gift card for $65 for my birthday in April and decided to use it for a haircut. When I made the appointment I asked for someone who was good cutting short hair. When I went in I was greeted by Hannah my hairdresser. She was very nice. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I have been a hairdresser myself for over 50 years. She proceeded to start cutting. She had me turned away from the mirror but after an hour I got nervous and asked her to stop so I could see what shed done. The left side of my hair was very short with patches of scalp showing. The right side was quite a bit longer and looked like a mushroom. I was upset. She went to get her mentor who came back, sent Hannah away and told her this is gonna get ugly. I told her I wasnt going to get ugly but apparently she was! She said the reason it looked like it did was because I needed color on my roots. I said absolutely not. Then she wanted to know what she was supposed to do about it, pick the hair up off the floor and glue it back on? I told her I could probably cut it myself. She then asked me if I wanted to have her try and correct it or go home and do it myself. I chose the later. Trying to get my refund from the gift card was another thing. The purchaser of the card had to request it. All in all a very bad experience. Unprofessional and rude. The mentor should be fired! I would NEVER recommend this salon.
Nichole was absolutely fantastic. I have not been to get my hair done in over 2 years and she helped make this tired mom feel so special and rejuvenated. I had an idea of what I wanted and she hit it out of the park! I have naturally curly hair and am trying to get them back to their full glory after many years of straighteners and lack of hair care. She gave me a cut that complemented the curls but also is versatile with other hairstyles. She gave advice on what the curls need and not once did I feel shamed for my mistreatment of my hair (which feels like that should be a given but I’ve had not-so-great experiences with stylists in the past). I really could not say enough nice things about her, she is a very sincere and kind human and I look forward to going back to her.

I went in for an adjustment from a haircut I got done at the 5th street location (didn’t go well).Erik really listened and calmed my qualms about getting my haircut after the first incident with a different stylist.He fixed up my curtain bangs, adjusted the uneven layering, cut it to the desired length I wanted (the other stylist failed to do so the first time)I’m really happy with Erik. My first time there, and the first time I spent that much on my hair. But it needed help badly!Kelly was wonderful. She started with a gentle massage on my shoulders, neck, and head, with essential oils. Then she set about finding what I wanted my hair to look like, and what to do. She asked me a lot of questions.Then a wash with another head massage, and finally down to the cut.I’m very pleased with the results, and plan on following up with Kelly again. Sometimes you have to just spend the money, instead of throwing it away on bad cuts..
Dermaplane appointment with Ruby today. One of the loveliest experiences Ive ever had. Ruby is fabulous. You must experience this for yourself! The dermaplaning was painless and I love the results. But its the before and after face and neck massages that will be bringing me back. Ruby has fingers that glide like silk over your face and shoulders with just the right amount of pressure. She applied amazingly scented oils and creams. Thank you Ruby for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this for anyone who feels like treating themselves or a loved one to a special experience.

My 90 minute massage by Corrie was just what I needed. Corrie is very professional, proficient, intuitive, and thorough, with a gentle compassionate presence.
(New update at the end)The lady who did my nails was very kind and gave me a wonderful experience for my first manicure, but I was disappointed by the amount of gel polish on my cuticles and nail bed. It looks uneven and a bit sloppy. ( I am used to typical nail polish where those imperfections go away after a day (especially a shower). But more so than these little imperfections, I was told my nails would last a couple weeks, and although I just got them done yesterday, one of them is already chipped significantly (and I have been extremely careful with them). I will be getting engaged in the next couple of days and I am disappointed that in these special pictures featuring my hand, one of my nails will have already been chipped.Update: it has been less than a week and the gel polish is already peeling off of my nails. I dont know if this is normal, but I am disappointed. I was told they would last a few weeks.*Newest Update: I was given a complimentary manicure to fix my nails and it turned out great! Everyone was very kind and the polish is no longer on my cuticles so it wont peel. I am very thankful!

I was super nervous to try a new salon but Christine was amazing! She was super nice and really listened to what I wanted then delivered the perfect haircut. I have curly hair but often wear it straight and she layered it perfectly, cut my bangs exactly how I wanted, and then gave me the most perfect blowout.

I scheduled an appointment a couple of weeks ago with Sierra and she was absolutely wonderful! Took one quick glance at my reference photos and cut everything exactly as I wanted it. I had been bleaching my hair since 2020 and have only just started the process of recovery, and I walked out with the healthiest hair I’ve had in years. She is gifted and has a lovely presence, I cannot recommend her enough!

After several failed attempts I found Audra.She is beyond talented and while still perfecting her craft, you can tell she truly loves what she does and she strives for perfection. Kendal was AMAZING 🤩 I ride a motorcycle and my stress tends to build up in my shoulders so I knew I had some knots. But I had no idea how dense the knots were on the left side of my body until she worked them out and I instantly felt relief. I guess that makes sense since you shift gears with your left hand and foot. 10/10 recommend them and will hopefully be going back again in the future.

I really feel horrible for writing this review but I want to share my experience. I have been going to Audra for almost a year and she is absolutely amazing she is a great person and her customer service is very Amazing ( she also deals with my indecisiveness when I text her numerous hair color inspirations because I want her opinion because I trust her and she always lets me know that we can do anything as long as it doesn’t kill my hair but I always go with blondes) but this time was different we had a senior stylist come let her know about formulas if we can help get to my desired look. Let’s just say having her sit down not even a foot away from me and let me know because my skin tone is a more darker complexion that I should go with browns reds or blacks was a gut punch, but not only then did it stop I stated I had blonde hair before and she said and you liked it, as I stated yes I did, she told me she highly doubts that . I ended up settling with a violet red color (after feeling pressured and humiliated that my skin tone is not of fair complexion to get the hair that I desired ) to still not even get close to what I wanted in violet red. It over all was a really horrible feeling and still hurts that I have to walk around with hair that I don’t like and now can’t go back to get fixed. It’s not only about the integrity of the clients hair but the integrity of feeling like a human in their own skin and I can honestly say that as a mother of 6 who’s been through a lot in life that day and ongoing has made me feel less than.
I was having some serious and unrelenting shoulder pain. I booked a 90 minute massage with Grace and I slept through the night with significant and noticeable improvement. Grace is always friendly and professional but above all she’s super detail oriented, has a great dexterous intelligence, and finds creative and helpful ways to help me manage my pain. I love seeing her! I call her the “magic shoulder lady”!

This was my first time getting my hair done at Gervais Salon. All the staff were extremely friendly, as was the front desk gal. If you go to Gervais try their TEA! Hands down best tea I have had in a long time. I even bought a box it to take home. My stylist, Kelsey is just amazing. She set up a consultation with me first to ask questions about my hair history. Kelsey is very easy to communicate with, will put you at ease and I trust her with my hair color and cut. She also gives THE best scalp massages! Looking forward to my next visit.

I went to Kelly at Willamette Street. She was very knowledgeable about my hair texture, and was able to tell me what would be best for styling it. It was a very special experience, beginning with a neck massage with lavender oil. She was a perfectionist in cutting my hair. I will definitely be going back to her for follow-up appointments.

Grace and her massage style, is what my body needs at this time. She knew what my body needed before I did. If you like a therapeutic massage for a tired athletic body, I suggest you try her. Honestly, I think she would make anyone’s experience amazing. She also followed up with an email with stretches that would help me.
Kristin will be my new hairdresser! I am very happy, after the consultation we had today to review my hair cut & color which will be done August 17th. Kristin was SO attentive & wrote everything down in a notebook. She is happy to duplicate the color formula used by my prior (now retired) hairdresser and she is fine with my requests for my haircut. I am 71 and have tried every hairdresser suggestion but what works for me is a simple cut for my straight hair and natural appearing highlights. Not all hairdressers are willing to do that. Kristin is a precision hair cutter who allows enough time for cut and color to get them right. I am thrilled I found her.

For the first time in my life, I left the salon absolutely loving my haircut and style. I usually go immediately home and restyle my hair before going anywhere in public after a haircut/style. Not today. Audra is talented. I felt listened to and well cared for. From the phenomenal scalp/head massage, the expert cut, blow out and style, I left feeling pampered, refreshed and feelin’ good as H-E-double hockey sticks! Went in about a year ago and it took me this long to finally write this review. I talked to the stylist about coloring my hair. She looked at my hair, said it wasnt possible to achieve what I was hoping for. I told her I was open to what was possible. She told me I should look around for a different stylist. She also in that short period of time told me how important she was, how many people want her services and mentioned that she was very expensive. The whole experience was totally humiliating. It was like she was telling me I was too old and too poor for the likes of her. She obviously made many assumptions about me within a few minutes and decided I wasnt good enough to be her client. Awful experience. I am sure other stylists there arent as awful as this one was, but because of her, I would never attempt to go back to Gervais Salon. Im sorry I didnt write a year ago so that I could remember her name. One goes to the salon to feel good. I never imagined I would go and be completely put down and rejected.

I had a great experience, it wasn’t crowded.. it was friendly non snooty atmosphere..Sierra was my stylist and did an amazing job. I also Love that the salon is pretty much carbon neutral.. donating to McKenzie River Trust and recycling all the plastics used in the salon.. and even recycling the hair that falls on the floor and hair color that is left over after mixing.. Impressed! I will go back!

It was my first time getting a haircut here with Lindy. I have very thick curly hair and was a bit nervous. Lindy was professional and personal with my requests. She was very knowledgeable about how to care for natural curly hair and had shared with me useful tips that worked like magic! After getting my hair cut and styled, it began to rain(typical Oregon rain). I was surprised to see how my hair still looked tamed even after getting some rain on because usually it would become all frizzy. One minor feedback is that I got burnt on my forehead as Lindy was styling my hair but it wasn’t at all her fault. I should have let her focus on what she was doing and not distract her with small talk. That is just true for everyone. Other than that my experience was pleasant.
Staff is kind, efficient and professional. I felt like royalty, just getting a haircut!

Bianca was super helpful and really great to talk to, she fixed my curls in just over an hour. I had eyelash tinting with Ruby. She did a fantastic job. I had no issues with irritation. It took about 35 minutes. I love my darker lashes that stand out much better now.

My speed goes from 100mph to 15mph within 5 minutes of stepping into Gervais. I saw Christene today for a cut and blow and she did EXACTLY what I wanted with my hair and totally surpassed my expectations for my thinning, fine hair. Added bonus is the heavenly scalp and shoulder massage. Love this place.

Wonderful salon and excellent services provided. Kelly at Gervais Salon and Day Spa Willamette location is brilliant when it comes to color, the haircut and styles are phenomenal. Kelly does an excellent job taking the time to listen on what the customer wants and also provides excellent suggestions. The salon itself is clean, very organized and the staff provides beyond the standard when it comes to customer service. If you have not tried this place then I highly recommend it, you wont be dissatisfied. The salon goes above and beyond when it comes to precautions keeping everyone safe.

2nd pedi w/Mikkala. I’ve been in Eugene for a year and tried various nail places around town. This service is by far my best!. Not that much more expensive than other places, but the atmosphere and service itself are superior. Mikkala is not only a skilled nail technician, she is a certified medical nail technician who has interned with a podiatrist. Having a pedicure with her is a true “spa” experience, and I also know that my feet are being properly cared for. Five stars and a big “10” rating.
Kristen did a fabulous job with my haircut. She gave me gorgeous shaped layers and styled it curly. Will definitely go back for my next haircut!

Love the salon and its services but Gervais has consistently had the absolute worst phone service, most of the time nobody answers and some stylists cant be booked online.
