Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa

Had a very enjoyable stay. Easy to get anywhere we wanted to go on the Circuit shuttle. The Cabanas Guesthouse was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay there again. The employees were pleasant and helpful.

My partner and I had an amazing time at the Cabanas. We stayed there over the 4th of July weekend, Room 15. For a last minute booking everything was great. The toilet in that room is a bit low and the beds are 2 small full size beds. The mattress was too firm for our liking. We would definitely return but book a different room next time.

My husband and I enjoyed lovely SPA treatments and spend the rest of the day at the quiet pool. Weather was gorgeous and we cooled down in the pool whist sipping on icy cold vodka drinks. We even went back for another facial treatment.

The Cabanas is my favorite gay resort. The property is gorgeous and meticulously kept. The staff goes above and beyond for their guests. Everyone was so kind and helpful. A special thank you to William for the fabulous advice and care. I cannot wait to return.

Second time here and loving it the first time as well as this second time. Very professional courteous friendly and accommodating staff. Kudos to Tim the manager who is extremely nice and goes above and beyond as does the entire staff. Tim was kind enough to work with us when we had a potential cancellation or delay back to Newark Airport due to storms. Thankyou so much Tim we made it home to Staten Island. This is definitely our go to place when visiting Wilton Manors Fort Lauderdale from now on. ❤️04/20/2024Third time around and my previous review still stands. Outstanding ❤️

We only stopped in for a day pass, but it was a very nice place. The pool and grounds were very clean tidy. We didn’t stay there because it wasn’t close to the WM strip, however there is an electric shuttle that provides transportation to WM for $2 per ride.

Very nice small resort with water surrounding most of the property. Like the security and flexibility of the rules here and the service is great too. Very convenient to a lot of places. Definitely recommend if in Fort Lauderdale area

I can tell you this is the most wonderful staff that you will ever experience on a vacation. Tim and his crew are kind, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is accepting and diverse. They know how to set a mood at a pool and deliver hospitality top notch.

We have a home in Fort Lauderdale and flew in the day after it rained 25 inches. Our house was flooded and had to deal with all that fun stuff. We needed a place to stay and thought, lets try Cabanas! So we did. Michael answered the phone and greeted us when we checked in. The entire staff is fantastic. The property is clean and manicured. They have spirits available for purchase until around 5 or 6 if I remember correctly. They have a lot of day passers who come and relax by the pool or hot tub. I appreciated the smaller of the two pools. It was quieter and more intimate. Some rooms have kitchenettes if you want to cook or make a meal. This property is top notch and not far from Wilton Drive where all the fun happens. You can grab a quick ride and be there within 5-7 minutes.

If youre going to be in Wilton Manors, this is a perfect location. The best part of Cabanas is their amazing staff. So helpful and hospitable!!

My first time staying at this resort, all I can say is that it was nothing short of amazing. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are meticulously taken care of, my best friend and I made so many new friends and for us that’s what it’s all about. Everybody was so nice. The staff and all who work there went above and beyond to accommodate. There is nothing that they don’t have. No matter what you need is within walking distance of maybe 10 minutes so you really don’t need a car. I hated to leave and it was a sad trip home. I cannot wait to stay here again.!

We visited using a day pass on a warm Saturday afternoon in February. Right away we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. After making our way to the main pool we relaxed poolside while our sunblock soaked in. Later we floated around the pool and made a bunch of new friends. We were able to get drinks here and there is some food but at $18 for chicken strips or a small pizza we decided to wait to eat. Along with the main pool there is also a hot tub (it’s lava hot and very relaxing), a quiet pool, beautiful grounds, a very cool kitty cat, and a fun steam room. Definitely enjoyed our time and recommend it for a visit.

Both me and my spouse visited the cabanas guesthouse utilizing a day pass and for the first half everything was great! The Staff was very courteous, friendly, and professional. Very nice setup, clean, and organized.We left early because we attempted to use the steam room and there were three men engaging in sexual activities that resulted in the floor being unsanitary and not reasonable to use. This is immoral and very unbecoming for an adult. It didnt appear as they had staff policing conduct/activities. We alerted the staff of this and left.

We just did a day pass after getting off a cruise before our flight that night. It got a bit crowded for my taste with others doing the same. Great relaxing environment. Staff was friendly and helpful in the few interactions we had. Seemed to be a good area I felt comfortable in.

My partners and I absolutely loved this place. It was SO cute and very relaxing. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pools were clean, the grounds were well kept, the rooms were perfect, and housekeeping was top notch.By car this place is less than 10 minutes to Sebastian Beach and less than 5 minutes from Wilton drive where many of the gay clubs, bars, and restaurants are. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport and has easy interstate access if you want to make a day trip to Miami. Oh, it’s also about 25 minutes from the Sawgrass Mills outlets if you wanna hit up the designer outlet stores.I wouldn’t change a thing. We will definitely be coming back here next year.

My partner and I recently spent 4 nights/5 days at the Cabanas Guesthouse and Spa. The highlight of the stay was most definitely the staff. They were always very kind, sociable, and accommodating. The grounds were meticulously kept giving it a luxurious feel. The other guests staying on property were all very friendly as most were couples looking for a relaxing vacation. Some guests using a day pass were a little too “friendly” for our liking. We stayed in a Waterfront King room which was clean and comfortable. Our only complaints is the bed was a little too firm for our liking and the AC struggled against the Florida heat. Overall, our stay was top notch and we’d recommend considering this quaint getaway for your next trip!

We stayed one night before a cruise. Sadly, the bar and steam room were closed by the time we got to the property (6:00pm). There are 2 pools (only one accessible at night, apparently) and a highly-chlorinated hot tub, which was relaxing. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. The window unit air conditioner in the room turns on and off very frequently, which makes falling asleep a bit of a challenge.

My partner and I enjoyed our quick overnight getaway here. The property is kept beautiful and clean. Very quaint boutique guest house with multiple pools and an appealing jacuzzi. Enjoyed my coffee sitting on the bench in the morning overlooking the waterway.

The overall ambiance and casual atmosphere are fantastic. Staff and other guests were friendly. I couldn’t have asked for better pricing. My only criticism is that my room felt stark especially relative to other rooms on the property. The lighting was way too bright. The paint color wasn’t warm. Furniture, floor and bathroom quality were older and less than I had hoped. But, with that said, my room was incredibly clean and value was great overall. I would book again without hesitation.

From even before I arrived, I was met with a superb level of hospitality. Every email, phone call and communication set the stage for a great trip. When I arrived they raised the bar even more and was completely blown away at how amazing they were. Great customer service, clean facilities through and through. Grounds were well maintained and the ambiance/scenery at the resort was just beautiful. I will definitely be returning AT LEAST once this year. If youre on the fence about going, let this review be your nudge, GO!

Me and my husband always enjoy our stay here. Surprisingly convenient waterfront location with a beautiful view. Pool temp was perfect and hot tub was great. My favorite part was the cozy breakfast room. Comfy, quiet, friendly, and private all over.

The Cabana’s Guest House is amazing! The rooms, the landscaping, the pools and views are amazing. Oh, don’t forget about the sauna….The staff is so friendly and want to make sure your stay is top notch. Especially John, William and Timmy❤️. Housekeeping does an amazing job. Great personable staff and location right near the heart of Wilton Manor yet far enough away from the craziness. The Cabanas is our choice spot to stay when we are in the area. Two pools, a hot tub, bar and food. All great!

My husband And I spent a week at Cabanas. It could not have been a better week. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber I knew I had made the right choice. We both felt right at home. From the beautifully landscaped property, beautiful clean room & and friendly staff that goes above and beyond the entire week was perfect. I absolutely love the vibe that this place gives.I HIGHLY recommend the Cabanas, whether its for a week, a day, or a day pass. You will not be disappointed. My only complaint is we had to leave and come back to Ohio. Thank you John and Staff for a great week ❤️

This place is amazing! We lost our home during hurricane ian and fled to the other coast, and after getting ripped of from hilton for over $1000 (because they overcharged us and refused to refund us) we left for cabanas.The owners and staff there were absolutely amazing to us and extremely accommodating to our needs.If you want a wholesome fun place to stay with remarkable staff, please check them out.. Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

This was our first trip to the Cabanas Resort and we had an outstanding time.What We Liked: The property was beautiful and maintained to almost perfection, the staff was very helpful, nice, knowledgeable, and interacted with all guests throughout our time at the resort, the room was very clean and spacious, the resort is located within a 2.5 mile walk from the heart of gay life in Wilton Manors, and the overall atmosphere created a place for total relaxation, fun, and interaction with other guests and locals visiting for the day.What We Did Not Like: That we had to leave and come back home!!!We will definitely plan future trips to the resort and would you encourage you to visit as well.

Aaaaaahhhhh .... to come back to this place after Covid somehow it was like coming home. Almost the same staff, the same old cat, upgraded rooms and still one of the most friendly and comfortable places.They dont serve Aperol Spritz at the bar (Tim: Whats that?) but that is totally forgivable.Still a fun place to be with lots of good memories. Thanks to the people here for a wonderful time.

Can’t beat the vibe and hospitality of this place. John, Tim and team couldn’t be more welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are multiple pools and a steam room. Can’t beat the canal backyard either. Close to both shops and restaurants. The strip of Wilton Manors is about a mile away. Definitely recommend.

This was my very first experience at a gay clothing option resort. Some very close friends of mine recommended this spot and I came with them. I also invited two of my oldest friends whom Ive known for 20 years. I must say, I will definitely be coming here again! The staff is so accommodating and attentive to the guests staying at their resort. Tim made an especially great impression - Hes a sweetheart who all of my friends thoroughly enjoyed! Its absolute freedom and paradise that I would recommend to any of my gay friends visiting the Florida area.

We stayed at the resort I July. The resort is very clean with a very friendly staff. Frankie at the front desk always had a smile. Complimentary breakfast area was nice with standard offerings of cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads. Loved the quite pool. Nice landscaping throughout the area and secure parking.

Had THE MOST AMAZING TIME this past Labor Day 2020 Weekend. My husband and I are 10 year locals but this was our first visit, a surprise for husbands birthday. Friendly staff, easy access, parking, great room, hot 🔥 jacuzzi, and wonderful guests. Cant wait to stay again soon, will even do day passes to relax on weekdays.

I have had an injury shattering my wrist and Im an epileptic. This spa not only has gone above and beyond with customer service. They put together a package for my partner and myself to enjoy for our anniversary coming up. The therapist was awesome demonstrating his skill and the manager Tony knows how to show customers love. Bought the package and encourage members of the community to treat their pain and other disorders in a fresh fun way!!! Cant wait to see what else they have to offer 💯🥰💜

Absolutely amazing place!! We drove 4 hours from Tampa to stay here and we were not disappointed!! Greeted by the amazing Tim who showed us around the property which is maintained so well, clean, exactly the “getaway” feeling we were going for!! If we were able to give 10 star we would!! Can’t wait to come back again!!!!

For years we have been going to the Cabanas. The owner, John, and the entire staff are extremely friendly and courteous. They have very low turnover and it is nice to go back there time after time and see the same staff, who know your needs. The place is kept immaculate and is very beautiful as it sits on the Middle River. If you are looking more for a place near the Wilton Manor bars and restaurants, as opposed fighting the traffic to get to the resorts on the beach, the Cabana’s Guesthouse is a must stay.

Just had a massage and a body wrap & exfoliation. Wow! So much better than I thought it would be. Mike is a highly talented massage therapist. He created the perfect ambiance and applied just the right amount of pressure to make me feel free relaxed and rejuvenated. My husband loved his massage too. Cant wait to come back.

You Have got to be kidding me! I have been staying at the Cabanas for the last 15 years and I absolutely love it!!!!!!! It is so comfortable, the bedding, the happy hour, the staff is and always has been perfectly impeccable.I have traveled the world over several times and have never felt more comfortable and relaxed in my whole life. If I could afford it I would live there. I must have stayed there at least 50 or 60 times.The owners are Fab! Many times I forgot things in my room and called from Minnesota and they held my things till I returned. Great job you guys! The only reason i came about this review site is because I am trying to book for December 12 and 13th.

What to say ? We love the place. This is our “summer” house in the USA.The place is pleasant and well located. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff is nice (a special thought to Luis). We always had very relaxing holidays there and made nice encounters every time. We never saw the time passing by while we were in the Cabanas.We came there 3 times so far (April / May). First time 4 days, 2nd time 10 days, last time 12 days and we are planing to come back!We are a couple (34 / 49 yo) from Paris / France

Yesterday, Monday, September 25, I had a reservation and unfortunately no one attended to me, waiting for more than an hour and nothing, I am very disappointed. NEVER AGAIN did they lose a client who was betting on always going but there is no seriousness

The people were really friendly, I felt comfortable there right away! Buildings were near and nicer than other places Ive been,. The whole atmosphere was relaxing & fun. Im definitely going back next year!!!!

This was a much needed getaway. This quaint oasis will help clear your mind of everything going on in the world right now. We met so many wonderful people from all over and have made friends that will last a long time. The guys here who run everything make sure that your experience is top notch and they do not skip a beat. Above and beyond!

First and foremost, staff members are top notch. Chill, friendly & helpful. Conveniently located. Grounds are interesting and tidy. Pools, clean and perfect temps. Thank you! Rooms are fair to fine. Did appreciate the high shower nozzle for taller guys. Good water pressure. Always had hot water. Bar offerings are diverse. Just wish the bar was open another hour or so in the evening. Same with the steam room. Also, would be nice (and maybe more lucrative, idk??) if a staff member wondered through the pool areas hourly or so providing beverage services.For the price, there were a few upgrades one might expect & suggest. Paper products (kleenex & TP) need to be upgraded from spartan-grade to mid-grade at the very least. Also, paper towels should be provided in kitchenettes. Beds are a little on the extra-firm side. Great selection of pillows, though.We really like the balance Cabanas has struck with the whole clothing-optional mens resort thing. Sometimes c/o resorts skew towards ‘sleazy bathhouse’. Not the case here. It was the perfect vibe. Well done. We would return to Cabanas.

My partner and I travel to Ft. Lauderdale, from Orlando, two to three times a year; and the Cabanas is and for years has been our favorite place to stay. The guesthouses are so well presented and clean, the staff is beyond friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make sure every guest is treated exactly the way they themselves would want to be treated when on a vacation/retreat in a tropical paradise. That brings me to the next topic I must mention: the lush landscaping. Before you even enter the privacy gate (which itself is a great feature) the gorgeous palms and other flowering and fruiting trees, shrubs, and vines all demand respect as part of the romantic and relaxing, fun and exciting, all-inclusive miniature resort. There are even orchids attached to various tree trunks and nestled into corners of the gardens everywhere. These gardens, which are very well established, are also an integral part of the necessary privacy needed for a clothing-optional resort.As you pull through the privacy gate, you are pulling right into the cozy parking lot. it is small, however even when the guesthouses are all occupied, you can find a spot. In the center of the parking lot is the main pool and pool deck. It is absolutely picturesque an has all the amenities one would expect at this resorts pool. The guesthouses themselves are just across the small parking lot I just mentioned. The guesthouse in the very center is the hotel office as well as the breakfast nook. Breakfast is complimentary every morning and in my opinion is a nice, healthy selection of food. There is a second pool, a hot tub, to the left and just past the office cabana. It has a very secluded, romantic feeling... perfect for this resort! a few steps further to the left beyond the hot tub is a Spa, which is separate from the guesthouses but still part of The Cabanas. It offers everything that a luxury spa would: but being that it is a separate building and listing on Google Maps, Ive left a separate review of the Spa itself along with the 5-star rating that it deserves... just as the Guesthouses of the Cabanas!Each one of our stays over the years has been unique and memorable in their own way, and I firmly believe the place gets better every year.I would recommend this place to any of our friends looking for a relaxing yet fun and exciting resort to stay at while visiting Ft. Lauderdale.Whether youre single, partnered, or married... give The Cabanas Guesthouses a try - you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I dont often award five stars to places, products or events. However, it always makes perfect sense to do so for The Cabanas. For many years, we have returned to The Cabanas for a weeklong staycation (we live 20 minutes away) because we know (and have never been proven wrong) that the accommodations, staff and service will all contribute wonderfully to our experience. We did stray to a competitor once, long ago, and ended up so stressed that we had to get massages at The Cabanas Spa to recover!

The only place I will ever stay when I come down to Ft. Lauderdale. The staff is super friendly and the resort is small, quiet and relaxing. The waterfront rooms are the BEST! And their breakfast is pretty good too.
