Vheadspa Relaxing Hair Wash & Scalp Massage

Treated myself to a 60 minute service here. I booked online which was great because I’m a big fan of using online booking systems. Everything was great from the massage to the facial jelly mask. Nina was my massage therapist. Total service time was closer to 90 minutes because she was brushing my hair out at the end so I appreciated her going the extra length for me.I should have asked for a bit more pressure. The products they use smell so good and I left feeling so relaxed.The spa is a few rooms divided using curtains so there is some noise just from the street and other clients but it was fine. I’d skip the blow dry portion - it’s not a blow out and it costs extra.I will definitely be back and I’ll be recommending this to my friends!

It was amazing experience for my birthday! Van was very very strong. I definitely want to make this part of my therapy in taking care of myself. The price was good for the service they gave. Everyone should take care of themselves and go to V- Head

Booked Platinum treatment through Julie, who was very careful & respectful about noting the few ingredients that cause allergic reactions (in me, not generally.) Treatment was with Mai. She could not have been better; always making sure I was comfortable. And so kind! In the end, my hair felt as new as a baby’s. Will absolutely be back.

WOW! just wow ! I had the Platinum treatment for 75 minutes, every time I was surprised with every treatment given, amazing scalp massage, face massage, the facial felt amazing, the back,arm, neck , shoulders massage were amazing as well, I never knew how much I needed this, all I kept thinking was, every human being deserves to pamper themselves like this, beyond relaxing, Van did an amazing job at always checking up if I was doing well during the treatment, she paid attention to detail, getting the right pressure points, and making sure my scalp was extra clean , I have a lot of hair and it’s tick so I knew it was a bit of a hassle but she’s a professional and knew exactly how to handle my hair she was gentle with it 🥺 my scalp has never felt this amazing, I’m definitely coming back I’m at awe with this pampering, love yourself and get this spa day for you we all need it 💗

Came here with my two family members. They made it work out and we were all seen together. Although we couldn’t talk at all during the duration it was still very cool to do together. During our massage the relaxing music plays, the rooms are separated but in our case they opened up the rooms so us 3 could be together. The massage felt great and was very relaxing. My relatives said they went a little hard at times but nothing too major. I would return back myself for another self care day.

Decided to come here for the 75 min platinum package. The spa is a small space, seems that theyre only able to take 4 people at a time. The spa area is separated by curtains and each space has 2 chairs so its best to come with someone so youre not stuck in the space with a stranger. The head massage, wash, treatment was great. The face massage and mask were good also. The gua sha was subpar. The neck, shoulder, arm massage was terrible. I opted for the blow dry as I did not want to leave with wet hair but like many people said, it should be included in the price. Overall, great treatment for my hair, but the massage should be optional and priced separately. Id come back more if they had this option and charged maybe 100 for the hair treatment and blow dry and face massage/mask only.

Excellent service. I called a day before and they were able to accommodate me and my husband. You get your own private space. Sectioned two chairs with curtains around. I think better if you come with someone so you don’t get roomed with someone random. They ask to remove your top. They provide a blanket to keep yourself warm.Included head, face, shoulders, arms, and neck massage. Washed hair and really cleaned my scalp a few times. Nice facial massage, wash, and a refreshing mask.100% would come back and bring others too!

Very underwhelming. We got the platinum package. Each minute had something happening but everything just felt subpar. The neck massage was not on the correct part of the neck (she massaged my carotid arteries rather than the sternocleidomastoid muscles). The arm massage was short lived and the lotion felt really sticky. The packages themselves are quite expensive and it’s repulsive to hear oh that’s it when giving cash tip. They blow dry hair straight but they don’t add tension to the hair so I left with very very frizzy hair. They didn’t spray heat protectant either.Overall, the place is clean. There’s parking in the back. Way overpriced for the service.

Nothing but good things to say about the 75 minute platinum spa! Both my husband and I both left raving about how much we enjoyed our visit! The head, neck, & arm massage was so relaxing (worked out all the tension)! My hair was shiny, soft and super clean, & my scalp felt amazing!

OMG! I just had my first head spa experience, and Im in love! I definitely recommend making an appointment with them before your visit. I decided to go with the Platinum Treatment, which is a 75 minute experience that is at $145. It came with a scalp massage, wash & condition, neck and shoulder massage, face cleansing, hot oil treatment, facial massage with jade tools, collagen/anti-aging/vitamin mask, and arm massage. I had Mai as my specialist. She was super sweet and friendly. I felt like I was hanging with an auntie or something. The stalls are divided by curtains. Each area holds 2 people at a time. I had the luxury of being in the stall by myself. I cant imagine if you came by yourself, and ended up next to a stranger. So, I highly suggest coming here with a friend or a significant other since the stalls are set up like that. They give you a basket to store your belongings. It is very dim-lit, and they have spa music in the background playing. Mai is also very strong, so let her know how you like your pressure points for your massages. Although I dont get cold easily, I can see how it can get cold for others who do. The whole experience was definitely relaxing and much needed. I didnt really know what to expect, but I left the place feeling rejuvenated. After my blow dry, my hair was left silky and shiny. There is free parking available in the back or on the street in front. It looks like theyre extending their space, so theres two areas you can enter through the back. The back is pretty unassuming, so pay attention to the address # that they give you. The pricing is kind of high for the area, but if you got a pretty penny, I highly recommend trying this place out! Cash tips encouraged.

My gf and I came here for a bday splurge. Both of us were underwhelmed for the price we paid. We got the platinum package and it just felt like a fancy hair wash. Dont wear makeup to your appointment because they dont even ask you before the facial massage/mask. If you ask, they only have baby wipes available. The arm neck shoulder massage was basically putting lotion on your arms and rubbing your neck and shoulders a few times. I think my hairdresser does a better job! The package doesnt include drying your hair, so if you dont add the blow dry option ( extra $ ) you would be going home with wet hair :/ Sorry we wont come back.

I went here this last Saturday with my mom and sister, we had seen spas like this on TikTok and were dying to try one in the USA if there was one. Luckily, we found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The building is a small place, but very clean on the inside and it looks super cute. The staff is very friendly, and took us to our seats quickly, even though we arrived early. They had us ready in the chair for a few moments, since there was another customer getting a blow dry and they waited till that was done before they started. I appreciated this, and I was comfortable so it was a pleasant wait. The scalp massage was incredible, and the whole experience was just amazing. The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the quality and time youre getting out of it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good massage, especially if youre like me and love ASMR and if youve seen similar spas on TikTok. Ill for sure be coming back here

I really want to like this place but after each visit I feel more and more annoyed.I purchased a 5 session treatment for $4-500 I think. I’m not sure. But it included head wash, facial and blow dry.They need show their technicians a more consistent technique on how to massage scalp and body.The ladies start off with massaging my scalp and move onto massaging my face. Literally transferring all the oils from my head onto my skin… they’ll then shampoo my hair using their nails to scrub my scalp.. wash, steam and then body massage. The massage isn’t relaxing at all. They’re slapping me around with cold lotion. Sit me me up and blow dry my hair.I want to enjoy the treatment but it’s hard when they don’t understand the little details matter the most.Won’t be returning.

This was a relaxing experience. The atmosphere was calm there was a nice scent and the staff I encountered were extremely nice!! It was a little expensive for the service but was a nice experience. The only negative was I paid for a 60 min service and was finished in 45 mins. Service + blow dry! Unsure if I will go back!UPDATE: The spa called me back to correct the issue, she was very nice and told me they made a mistake and gave me the wrong package. (Which I would have never chosen for the $) she offered the the $10 difference back. We did have to go back and forth about what I paid and and the package that was chosen for me. She didnt seem to feel like there was any issue. I asked for the tip back and she said sureThen asked me to delete this post. I feel like this business could be great but lacking customer service skills, communication and understanding what the client paid for) wont go back because of how this situation was handled!

What a fabulous discovery. At top spas around the world you might be able to get someone to massage your scalp with Rich oils and wash your hair and have it come out amazing at the same time providing you with a facial massage and relaxation with the softest sounds of music and waterfall. This is truly a golden find. Worth every penny

I booked an appointment for a Platinum package a VHeadspa and ended up seeing Luna. She was spectacular. From start to finish, everyone was kind and welcoming and so caring! I’d never had a scalp treatment done before and I ended up buying a package before I walked out the door. I was sooooo relaxed that I dozed off for a bit. The collagen mask was cold, but fun!!! And the facial, arm, shoulder, and back massage felt unbelievably good. My scalp feels great and I hope the treatment can stimulate my follicles. If not, I’ll still be happy with the luxury pampering that Luna treated me to! Can’t wait to go back 😊

Just finished the 75 minute platinum service with Kelly and I couldnt wait to write a review. I knew it was going to be good when they were all booked up 2 weeks in advance. After reading the reviews I booked the next available appointment. I had such an amazing experience. From the second I walked in I was instantly comfortable and relaxed and by the end of the service I was in a post massage / spa day bliss. I cant believe how much the platinum package includes - the longest greatest scalp massage Ive ever had followed by a face, arm, shoulder, neck & Back massage that were equally as amazing. I did add on another 10 minutes of massage as well as a hydro jelly mask which was fantastic. So excited to make vheadspa at least a monthly occasion. Thank you Kelly!!!

Not sure how come it is so well reviewed. But both me and my wife think the massages are fairly mediocre for the charge of $105/60 mins. It is more of a head washing than head massage. The environment is noisy, the masseuses talked quite a bit during the massage. One of them even left for a while for no reason. Would not recommend.

Ohhhh my goodness the BEST money I have ever spent! I read these reviews about water on your face blah blah and the products they use and first of all you are going to get your face wet when they do the facial. Soooo. Whats the problem? Also the steam was so nice they steam your hair while they massage your shoulders and arms and hands and neck. You can definitely feel it because when they take it off you start to get cold. I had Mai she was so amazing in every way. I will be going back at least once a month! They shampoo your hair with this lavender mint shampoo its tingly and so lovely. Then, the conditioner it had the most wonderful fresh smell. There was no work being done around the building it was quiet. And they had full appointments all day atleast 5 to 6 massage

Went there yesterday with my daughter and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and ready to go when we arrived. The treatments were amazing and we left there relaxed and with beautiful hair. We will be back that’s for sure.

Truly have no idea how this place is in business. I hate to bash a small business but I feel like we were taken advantage of. My mom kindly gifted myself and her the platinum package for more than the normal price (no idea why it was advertised as more for a “Mothers Day” gift. She thought it included something more, which makes sense.Our experience:We arrived to our appointments on time and at first glance we thought we were at the wrong location. The pictures available online are nothing like the real thing. It’s was gross, dirty and so outdated. There was only one employee certificate posted and a large staff? Didn’t make sense. We were taken back to our room, which was separated by curtains and in the room there was “stuff” stacked up in the corner as if it was also a storage room. The head massage felt inexistente, basically she rubbed oil/lotion on my scalp. Hands down horrible. It was such a disgusting pathetic excuse of a massage. Unfortunately we fell for the viral TikTok trend and we thought we spent a decent amount of money ($150 per person not including tips) for a nice experience. I truly would not recommend this place to anyone. We attempted to ask for a refund but after days of waiting we only received a partial refund. Complete waste of time and I felt so bad for my mom who wanted to give us a special day for Mother’s Day.Suggestion:If you do decided to try this place out, please do yourself a favor and go in person first. Take a glance at the facility and understand what is actually included in the package.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! The treatment was horrible. The worst treatment I’ve ever received. I complained, asked for a refund & they offered 30% plus tips back. Then 50% but no tip refund. I paid for 3 people. There’s only one license in store. They said all techs were licensed, then sent me licenses with numbers blacked out. I got 1/3 refund, but I’d rather have my wasted time back. And my daughter broke out the next day. If only I could give negative stars.

The wash, scalp massages and the massage on my neck and shoulders was amazing! I would definitely go back for that alone! The facial was an added plus. Unfortunately, I didn’t read all the reviews prior. I have curly hair and I would DEFINITELY skip the blow dry. The blow dry is literally just to dry your hair. The lady took a brush and ripped right through my tangled hair. The blow dry seemed very rushed as well. My hair was left extremely fluffy to say the least, and my head was still damp. I would take your own styling products and air dry.

My daughter and I booked the 60 mins- The PAMPERING! A blissful getaway! (without blow-dry) + 10 mins scalp/neck&shoulder massage and they started giving us facials. I told her politely no facial for either of us and she stopped with mine but my daughters lady continued with hers without my knowledge. My teenage daughter and I have very sensitive skin and are on medicated treatments so thats why we booked a treatment without facial. They said they needed to upgrade us if we didnt want a facial. I was confused as to why they couldnt understand our request for no facial. We received a total of 4 reminders and confirmations about the specific service we wanted and verbally confirmed and pointed to the service on the plastic card when we were in the lobby before our treatment to make sure they understood. By the end of our upgraded 75 minute treatment I was out $190 for something we didnt ask for. My daughter left a bit traumatized by her lady laughing at her as she winced in pain at the massage and receiving a facial even though I told her NO FACIAL due to specific skin issues. That was our experience...

If you like head scratchies it will be worth the price. If you are in it just for the tik tok hype you might end up disappointed with receiving exactly what is advertised.The place is small and busy but the staff is lovely and help you relax! Try to enjoy, and definitely go to the bathroom beforehand.

I made an appointment online for my mother and I, but a few days later, I was called and advised that the online available times were actually already booked. She was very apologetic and provided the next available appointments for my mother and I later on the scheduled day.We showed up 20 min before our appt time and checked in. But during that time, they couldnt find us in the system.I showed the confirmation email that I received the evening prior, and in doing so, I also saw that 40 min prior to my appt, I had received a cancelation email. No one knew why my appts were canceled. They were not able to add me to my regularly scheduled 5 pm appt. They tried to find another appointment slot, but we were now into June.Kathy then offered a 630 pm. appt for my mother and myself. This meant we were going to be treated after hours. I so appreciate Kathy and Jenny staying late to help honor my appointment day. Although we had to sit and wait for over an hour, we kept ourselves occupied and waited patiently. It was so worth it!This was our first time here and first head/scalp spa experience. The facial and scalp treatment was something I truly enjoyed and came out feeling relaxed.Afterward, my daughter said my face was glowing and my hair felt so soft.Even though our first check-in experience was not ideal, the customer service of the team members to fit us in same day made up for it.Cant wait to go back.

The attentiveness I was given was phenomenal. I chose the Pampering Package w/ Blowout which includes scalp massage, facial, and shoulder massage, etc., and added the dandruff brushing and rice exfoliation. Omg, it all felt so wonderful. I have very long hair, so it can be difficult to brush, however, her technique was so good and it did not pull my head or hurt. The environment was relaxing and had dimmed lighting with water trickling ambience. One of my favorite parts is when she checked on me during the massages/shampooing in a whisper to make sure it was comfortable - just letting those who have whisper ASMR.I was just visiting from Nashville, but I am unsure of my next visit. So I want anyone reading the reviews to choose this spa so its still operational when I return!

Ok... You have to try this place. I had Mai and she was 😍 AMAZING. My sister had Cathy and she was AMAZING TOO! 75 MIN went a long way. I loved the aroma and the calming music and the vibe! There is a lot of great places to go eat around there as well so if you are driving from far there is so many options!

Really was the best hair washing experience I ever had. I did the 75 minute treatment w/collagen maskTip: if your scalp is sensitive, skip the pre-brushing. You will get everything you need from the treatment.Pros: great relaxing treatmentCons: they dont have much experience with African American hair textures so skip the blowout. If you have very curly or 4c hair you will be extremely matted afterwards so bring your own products and brushes and take advantage of the glam room to get yourself together girl. But dont pass up this heavenly experience

When you think about it, most of us typically spend a minute or less washing our hair, so its no surprise that were not getting rid of all the dirt and oil on our scalps. In the short term, this can lead to itching and dandruff; in the long term, it can clog your follicles, which can cause strands to grow in thinner. Plus, theres the immediate benefit of having super shiny and extra voluminous hair for days afterward.In other words, treat your head out for a nice treatment. ^_^ Vheadspa will not disappoint!

Great recommendation it had a lot of the stuff the Platinum had but more kid friendly pricing :)How I ended up here:YouTube suggested video of a gal that did a similar treatment. I was in awe. I quickly looked high and low and San Diego does not have one, yet. I kept googling and moved my map north and north and north and Bam! Garden Grove has one. This one. I had my expectations low bc I’ve never met someone that had one. My only knowledge is the one YouTube video.Platinum:From what I recall essential oil massage on my scalp and face was done. Wash 2 times with what I think was Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo ( one of my favs). It was very well lathered and thick. Every nook and cranny did not go uncheck. Hot oil then steam. Face wash. Rubber like mask I believe. Face creams, jade roller. Arm, neck, shoulder, chest massage. All while covered in a blanket. This is like no other experience you have had. These ladies get down. My body was just going with the flow.Suggestion to management. Open one in San Diego! ASAP.Also. Parking in the back. Place is nicely decor. A great size place. Ambiance on point. Thanks oh ladies!

I have been looking for a service like this in the US in forever. I love watching ASMRs on youtube with harwashing, massage and scalp brushing.It is better than the videos i have watched, i slept and enjoyed the service.Its so good that i went ahead and bought the package. Its so worth it!

Great head spa. Don’t expect a gorgeous blowout, they just blow dry your hair. But head massage, deep conditioning, and mini facial are all fantastic.
