Massage Envy

The massage itself was good. However, I was significantly shorted on time. I showed up early and checked in at the front. I was waiting in the waiting room until about 15 minutes after my massage was supposed to start, when someone came out and said “oh, you’re here!” I had my massage and they still ended at the original agreed upon time (so I had a shorter massage than I paid for). I was hoping I would have gotten a discount or a coupon for a future visit since I got shorted on time due to their mistake, but no such luck. I will not return to this location.

Rachael is outstanding! I have four blog disc in my lower back this week. I’ve been in extreme pain very tight and walked out of there not feeling any tightness or any pain and only in 60 minutes she’s been doing massages for I think she said over 17 years so if you’re booking one book it with Racheal and I would recommend a two hour.

Massage Envy are a bunch of thieves. I have a tear in my shoulder. Twice I experienced severe shoulder pain after a session. I asked the therapists to not touch my shoulder, but Ulysses thinks he’s some kind of miracle worker. Twice I ended up in a sling for weeks. I went to cancel my membership back in January, and they completely ignored my request. After continuing to charge my card, I went back in April to get my membership cancelled again. The front desk refuses to reimburse the three months they illegally kept charging me. This place is dishonest, and they should be shut down. Go somewhere else.

Updated review. My first facial experience did not go the smoothest. After giving feedback, this location was quick to reach out and went above and beyond to help ensure that I did have a better experience at a future appointment. Being in customer service myself, I can say that I really appreciate a company that goes out of their way to correct a problem and improve the client experience.

Booked two appointments for me and my wife to get massages at the same time over a week in advance. TAYLOR in the front office calls us two days prior that they cancelled my wife’s massage. She couldn’t care less about helping us resolve this issue. Told us all she could do is move my wife’s massage to the following day.. only hers, not mine which defeats the whole purpose why we waited a week to be booked together. Terrible customer service… I guess massage envy can cancel your appointment and then put it on yourself to figure it out as if we were the ones in the wrong.

Front desk customer service is atrocious. Frequent mistakes are made and the lead front desk manager Jennifer is very rude and high strung. I recommend Parkwest, it is only a short distance away and they have great customer service! In addition, my mom transferred credits to me last year, apparently the young girl that did the transfer put them under my 16 year old daughters name (same account). She has not been to Massage Envy in at least 3 years. I called to inform them of the mistake and was yelled at and hung up on. I am attempting to get a recording of the phone call.

Always professional and easy check in process. Good selection of therapists with different pressures of massage. Rooms are relaxing and the therapists always listen to any specific needs.

My massage was wonderful, relaxing and calming everything you want in a massage. I highly recommend going here.

Our family has always had wonderful, relaxing massages here. We love them so much that we go monthly!

I went here on my birthday for a massage and facial. Overall the services were good. However, at the end of my facial I went to open my eyes and everything was blurry. There was definitely product in my eyes. I ask for tissues to try to be able to see which I was given but no one there seem very concerned with this. I was escorted to the lobby asked if I want to look at products. I said I cant really see so no. Then the front customer service person continued to try to sell me a membership despite clearly having difficult keeping my eyes open and tearing up. Needless to say it but this put a damper on my experience and I probably would not recommend a facial there. Sorry ladies.

I recently had the most incredible massage experience and I am still at a loss for words! It truly exceeded all my expectations and left me feeling absolutely amazing.The massage itself was absolute perfection. Ulises was highly skilled and had a magical touch. He knew exactly how to alleviate tension and loosen up all my knots.After the session, I felt completely rejuvenated, both mentally and physically. This location will not stop charging my card! After canceling my membership and calling them for 3 months in a row after going in person fill out all the canceling forms, they still have charged me 3 times. I try to call and they do not answer. I finally had to turn my card off and despite the charges. Never returning! Dont let them keep your card on file!

Brandy was my massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing. She was very professional, friendly, understood my needs and my health issues, and found the exact right pressure to help me relax and enjoy my massage. The therapeutic difference when I was finished was amazing and I have booked all of my future appointments with her. Thank you so much for giving me hope. I love the environment at this location as it is very relaxing and the front desk staff was so nice to work with. I have been a member for 10+ years.The therapists are qualified and friendly. They increased the rates following Covid which was disappointing. It would be nice if there were perks for the members. The rooms and bedding are clean and comfortable.

I was very nervous for my first massage experience especially given my masseuse was a guy. I wanted the soonest time and day available and Dirk was the masseuse available. Thanks to him, my experience was phenomenal! He made sure I was comfortable and focused on the areas I specified to him were causing me pain. I feel great and got a membership so I can return for a massage with him in the future! Thank you Dirk!

Such a great experience! Ive been twice now, and my first massage was excellent (about as good as ones I had regularly with someone before I moved to AZ), but my second massage with Erin O. was absolutely incredible. Best massage Ive ever had. I only hesitate writing this because I dont want to make it harder for me to book an appointment!And the facility is always clean and welcoming.

Absolute scam of a location. It takes a month to even get scheduled and they will cancel on you more often than not. 70% of my appointments have been cancelled and ALL of them have been with 1-2 hours of my scheduled time. I have the texts to prove it. No respect for peoples time. I recommend you find another location.

Had one of the best message envy experiences at this Arrowhead location. The front seat was very friendly and accommodating and Brandi G provided one of the best massage experiences ever. From her technique to wonderful conversations were top notch and Ive already made an appointment for myself and my wife with her because of it. Id be back here again in a heartbeat, but especially because of Brandi G. She completed the experience. Definitely recommend setting up an appointment here if you can.

Erin is amazing! I usually book my appointments out so I can be sure to get Erin. She is great at taking queues. If you want to chat, she will chat. If you want 100% silence, that’s what you get. She is also fabulous with the pressure. She does a wonderful job at making sure you are happy with your service. 10/10 for Erin!

I had an amazing massage with Erin O. She has a true gift of relaxing the body and knowing what areas to focus on. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I’ve been a member for over 15 years. Thank you Erin! This location also has a very nice relaxation room, I was impressed.

It was my first time getting a massage in Arizona and I gotta say, it was great! They asked me which areas I wanted to focus on and targeted those areas especially so I left there feeling wonderful. Ill def be back. Their prices were very reasonable, expect to pay 20% tip tho but its obligatory. Sorry they offer monthly programs which I didnt know about until after I went there.Overall it was really good, the music was on point and my masseuse Andrea was very professional and friendly

Erin is a great massage therapist! She pays attention to what areas you need extra work on and is very knowledgeable. She is professional, kind, and makes you feel comfortable so you can lay back and enjoy the relaxing experience. This location is great and even has a tranquil room to wait in before or relax in after as well. I highly recommend this location and Erin!!! Adding on the aromatherapy is also fantastic!! I saw Kristi for a facial. She was very personable and took the time to do a proper consultation. During the service, she was attentive and caring, and thorough with each step. You can tell she loves what she goes and has the experience to back it up. My skin was glowing after and I left feeling relaxed and restored! Highly recommend.

Do not sign up for any memberships. They will constantly cancel your appointments, and then your massages will build up to the point you cant use them. They wont pause your membership even though its their fault they cant schedule you. Then you have to cancel, and you lose out on all the massages you already paid for. Absolute SCAM. Go to elements massage if you dont want to waste money.

I had an excellent massage from Brandy. This location is a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere with great front desk staff. I enjoyed the area used for waiting, nice, quiet, relaxing space. Ive been a member for over 12 yrs and have used many locations all over the U.S. This was one of the best massages I have had in years and I highly recommend this location.

Heather has been my therapist for MANY years. She knows my troubled areas and takes her time breaking down the knots all the while being mindful of sensitive areas because of my RA. I am so glad I have Heather to elevate my quality of life, improve circulation and reduce pain in my neck, shoulders and back. She is very knowledgeable, skillful and a total professional. She is the best and the only therapist I will see.

This Massage Envy was truly a big disappointment. I have experience getting massages since it is something I enjoy for my self care. I know how they are supposed to feel and if I go to get a massage I am expecting a real massage. The guy that did my massage literally just lathered “a small speck” of lotion all over my body. That’s it. Just lathered lotion all over my body for an hour and called it a day. Seriously this is the worst massage experience I have ever had to the point where I shouldn’t have even paid for it. What a waste of time and money. Seriously save your time and go to a different place.

Erin was so professional and she gave me one of the best massages that I have ever had. She is also very attentive and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her for a super quality deep tissue massage. Massage Envy needs more therapists like her!

My first visit to this location as I couldn’t get in anywhere else. So glad I came. Ana did a lovely 90 minute facial and the facility was very nicely done, clean, and a nice front desk staff. Will definitely return. Then I lucked out and got Oscar for a massage another time and went back a second time for a great massage.

Ive had a membership with Massage Envy for almost a decade now. Theyre always kind and welcoming and professional. Greg at the Arrowhead location is hands down the best therapist I have ever seen (and Ive seen quite a few). Every minute is used effectively to make sure I feel my best, and he tailors our sessions in real time to the tight spots in my body. Hes communicative and really knows his stuff. Thank you Greg for all of the stress and pain relief, its been a game changer!!

Erin is the best massage therapist Ive ever had.Definitely worth the wait to get an appointment with her, since every time I visit her I walk away with the perfect blend of relaxation, inner peace, and a renewed energy to face life head-on.

After being hesitant to go to massage envy from my first year of you visit years ago. I got a gift card, went there and found out about their membership. you cannot beat the value of the membership for $60 a month getting a free one hour massage, and every hour after that’s only $45. Granted it’s important to find the therapist that best fits your needs, out of the four that I’ve had in the last few months three of them have been magnificent. Georgina at arrowhead, has a passion that most don’t. she truly worked on the areas of need, listening very closely and then showing her skill. The great thing is they have therapist that will make you “Feel good/relaxed” however with all my back issues she gave me actionable items pinpointed some of my issues that I didn’t even tell her about, showing her talent… I truly feel like it was the most effective/ actually beneficial massage in a while. between Georgina, and Angelica at the arrowhead branch… I see no need to go anywhere else. Either of these gals will not disappoint, if you find value make sure to show love with the tip. They work extremely hard to show value.

OMG! Got a massage at the Massage Envy Arrowhead on Bell by the 101. Samantha was AMAZING. I have had major headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain and this girl gave me the best massage I have ever had. I had major relief and will continue to go to her forever!!! Seriously I have had many massages and always have problems with this same area and she by far relieved my pain and really accomplished relief. She is very knowledgable and a talented Masseuse. Thank you Samantha!!!!

Dirk was my therapist and he was great! He even gave me some tips on how to ward off headaches at their onset. I also had a facial with Kristi and she was very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend them both!

Beware if you are booking an appointment online. I had to book online at a location far from my home because they were the only Massage Envy with openings. I get there to be told I didnt have an appointment even though I got a confirmation. The front desk gal said the online booking isnt accurate. Good to know. I will not be back.

Rachel is amazing! I deal with a tremendous amount of pain daily from past injuries and I’m very picky about finding the right therapist for my needs. There’s a good reason she is booked out so far!

Greg is one of the most intuitive massage therapists I have ever had. He takes the time to feel what your body needs instead of just going through all the steps of the massage. He is professional yet friendly.i will miss a massage that month target than have another therapist work on me.The front desk staff for the most part know who I am when I check and greet me and they are great about getting my massages and facials scheduled out on advance. Michelle was phenomenal!! First time trying out a light massage at massage envy and I gotta be honest. BEST massage Ive gotten YET! Ive attempted to sleep from relaxation many times during my massages but never managed to actually fall into a dosed state at the least. Dont get me wrong, those were wonderful massages but man I gotta tell ya. Michelle is A PRO AT RELAXATION. I was in and out of sleep/dosed state during this massage. I never felt soooo comfortable, stress free, and relaxed in the longest. This location owes it to Michelle! Heck I owe it to her! An amazing visit, i will be back!

I was fortunate to get a last minute appt with Ernesto. I asked for a firm massage and, boy, did I get it. He was gentle, but very firm and most polite. Always attentive to my privacy. I will definitely go back to him again.

I had a scheduled massage but had to reschedule because of a work emergency. I usually go to Jenny, but she books up fast. When I had to reschedule her next availability was almost 2 weeks out. The manager went above and beyond for me. She talked to Jenny who agreed to stay an hour late on one of her days to get me in. This was my second time having to reschedule this particular massage, so the fact that they went the extra mile to get me in was amazing!

Massage was great! However the staff and policies have gone way down hill. Lady at front desk was rude. I had cash she would not take a $50 and break it for a tip so I bought $30 worth of product. Nope policy they wont take $50 bills. Ok well needless to say I may be looking for a new massage place.

I recently signed up in January and Ive gone every month since. When I call to make appts/reschedule the front desk is always helpful and very communicative. Ive been getting my facials done by Ana and she is wonderful! Shes kind, makes great recommendations and is extremely professional and knowledgeable.

Arrowhead Massage Envy is just an overall fabulous experience. The reception staff is professional, helpful and friendly. My therapist Heather is just amazing. She is an expert in her field. She understands the specific needs of my body as I have arthritic deformities and areas that are hyper sensitive. She is compassionate and communicates well with me during my sessions. I drive further just to retain Heather as my therapist. She is a treasure.

First time at location, Rachel was the best!

I am very disappointed in this location. I had booked atleast 2 months in advance a 90 mins couples birthday massage for my fiancé. We both took time off of work to get this done on a Monday - as you can imagine it’s difficult getting a 90 min couples massage booked. The morning of the massage we received a text message that one of the massages was cancelled as the provider was out sick. I understand that the business can’t control people being out sick but the business did absolutely nothing to assist with remedying the situation. They offered for one massage to continue - well that defeats the purpose of a couples massage. We asked if they could look at other massage envy’s to help book for the day - they don’t have access to the system and seemed like they didn’t care. We also had a coupon that we were going to use during the session that will expire before we are able to get the massages done - they won’t do anything about that either. I am amazed that a company as large as massage envy doesn’t have back up providers for situations like this. It doesn’t even seemed like they tried calling other employees to pick up - they texted us right at opening thay the massage was cancelled. I am very disappointed due to the lack of concern or caring to assist customers. The cancellation is on the business - not me, and I shouldn’t be asking for help rebooking when it’s the basic job of the business

This was my first massage after back surgery 5 months ago. Massage was amazing, Heather targeted the areas that were very tight and sore and was able to work knots out. I had improved flexibility after session.

Uliesis, not sure I spelled that correctly, is great. This was our 2nd visit here and this visit was way better than the first. My daughter and I both had Uliesis and both had a great massage. Excited to be back in a few weeks.

Ive been to many massage therapists over the years. Heather Marie is easily top 3! The waiting area is one of the nicest and most comfortable Ive experienced.

Erin, my massage therapist always knows exactly what to do. She is smart and knows her physiology. I have.physical challenges and she knew exactly what to do and each session is a little different. I highly recommend Erin at Massage Envy Arrowhead. The front office staff are courteous and helpful.

I always have a great experience with Ana for my monthly facial! She’s is very sweet and listens to everything I have to say. She’s great at recommending changes to my skin care routine and suggesting new products to add to target the concerns that I am having. I will always recommend her! Thanks Ana!

Andrea is an amazing therapist! She is warm and friendly, which makes me feel right at home, but she is also extremely professional which makes me feel safe when I’m on her table. She is especially gifted at her craft and I always feel like I’m getting a LOT more than I pay for.

All great except I was scheduled for a 90 minutes massage beginning at 11:00 AM. My massage ended at 12:18 AM. I realize time is needed between clients to prepare the room. It was five minutes on each side of the appointments until recently. 17 years member.

Just had the best massage, stretch, and facial. The Arrowhead staff are the best. Rachel E and Kristi E are both fantastic at what they do. Excellent communication, experts in their job. Am sticking with both for my next session.

I moved to the area and scheduled my first massage here, I’ve had a membership at ME for a few years. I booked 14 days out and the day of, 3 hours before my appointment I got a call that “unfortunately your therapy won’t be able to perform the session.” I understand, emergencies happen. I requested a credit be placed on my account, because if I had cancelled I’d be charged, why can’t they hold the same standard? I would’ve been happy if they even had offered a free upgrade for aroma therapy or hot stones. Regrettably, I was informed that they cannot do that. I have several credits left but once I use them I most likely will be canceling my membership.

I usually go to the Surprise location but I needed an appointment asap and this was the closest one that had an opening. I had Kolten as my therapist and he was fantastic! I haven’t had a massage that good in a long time. Great communication, friendly, and really amazing technique. I’m definitely considering taking the extra 20 minutes and driving down to this location instead!

Ive had my membership for a good few months now and have switched masseuses with every visit. I have had so many terrible masseuses that lack training that I was going to give up on massage envy for good.. However, Andrea is terrific! These stars are all for her. She knows her stuff and knows how the muscles run. When youre nearly falling asleep every massage you know its good! No more anticipation of hoping its going to get better when it doesnt lol. Thank you Andrea 😊

I was scheduled with another therapist and I went to the wrong location. Michelle was available and took me in with open arms. I normally prefer a firm massage and was told that Michelle offers a soft relaxing massage. It was worth a try. I’m so glad I did. That was the most relaxing massage I have ever had. Next time I want to upgrade using the aromatherapy with it I know it will add to the experience. Thank you Michelle!!

Massage was amazing, but i was in the lobby until 1005 went to front desk and asked them about why it is late. I was told they would add it to my time. My massage ended at 1055 , so technically it was a 45 min massage since it didnt start until 1010 very disappointing but the massage it self was amazing . 150$ with a tip for 45min

I got the 90 minute facial with Tara. It was so relaxing. I actually enjoyed this more than a massage. I cant wait to go back to see her. Im scheduled for a microderm treatment next. highly recommend it.

Talk about therapy!!!! Greg was amazing! I left feeling relieved not only from the massage but the great conversation. I always find it awkward getting a massage with the ambient music playing in the background and a stranger oiling me up. Greg delivered great conversation when I began to speak to him and delivered a top tier massage.

My massage therapist, Erin O. is amazing! She is kind, knowledgeable and really listens to her client’s needs. Her calming spirit really enables me to relax and not be so self-conscious about all my “curves”.

Having a bad experience at another Massage Envy, I was hesitant to try this location. I broke my back a few years ago and massage therapy seems to be the only thing to keep from being in pain. I am SO happy I gave this place a chance. I cannot tell you how amazing this place is. Erin, my massage therapist, is an absolute angel. She is an absolute professional and is able to perfectly customize my massage to what my body needs. I swear this woman has magic hands. I always leave feeling relaxed and satisfied. The front desk staff is wonderful as well, they are extremely friendly and are always able to answer any questions I have without being pushy to sell. I have renewed my membership and will be coming back again and again!!

Kolten is a great massage therapist. It had been a long time without getting a massage and needed a lot of work. Kolten was able to release a lot of tension I generally hold on my upper back. It’s been almost 24hrs since the massage and I can feel more flexible/loose and less tense. I’m definitely going back more often. The front desk staff was hospitable and answered all the questions I had about facials and my account in general. Overall great experience!

Dirk was attentive to my physical problems, extremely knowledgeable, and I left feeling like a champ. Im writing this review after 24 hrs, and Im still feeling great! He made me feel comfortable, I enjoyed the conversation, and I highly recommend him as a provider.

Ivelina was amazing! She was sweet in chatting with me for a bit at the start of my massage and then reminded me to relax and enjoy my massage. She focused perfectly on the areas I requested and I left feeling relaxed & without the pain & discomfort I walked in with. Thank you Ivelina for a great experience!

Had a great experience at Massage Envy Arrowhead. Just recently had my first massage ever, and I highly recommend it.The massage therapist (her name was Andrea) I had was both very professional, and was cool to talk to.Overall, really liked it.

I drive from quite a distance to see my massage therapist Noel monthly. He is amazing, attentive and personable……or if I’m not wanting to chat…….he respects that too. He is the reason I travel as far as I do although there are certainly massage envy locations closer to me. He makes it all worth it.

I was so irritated yesterday at my appointment. First though, I do want to say that Ernesto my massage therapist is always amazing. This is not about him. This is about going in relaxed to get my massage, and then they asked me if I have a mask to put on. I told them no, and that I have nodules on my thyroid and I can’t wear a mask. The front desk said well without a mask we can’t do your massage and I said go talk to your manager. She came back and said the manager said you would have to cancel your appointment today if you’re not going to wear a mask. And then she says, by the way you only have to wear it walking in the door not in the room. Now does that really make sense? Frustrating

Nick was amazing! He knew where all of my knots were and worked them all out! He listened to my needs and delivered on all counts! Will definitely see him again. Highly recommend if therapeutic massage is needed!

Andrea at Arrowhead in Glendale is amazing! She listens and provides a fantastic experience. I love that when you come in she asks needed questions but remains silent during my massage - which allows fir a great, relaxing experience. Jasmine is the manager and great to work with.

I visited this location for the first time yesterday & will definitely return. Andrea did such an amazing job! After my session, my neck, shoulders, and back felt SO much better.The location was super clean and the front desk employees were very nice.

Ernesto was great- professional and knowledgeable. Offered suggested products to help with back pain and shoulder tightness, and worked on problem areas in lower back producing positive results and more mobility today than I had yesterday before the massage. My wife said she enjoyed her massage as well.

I recieved a GC from my work and was finally able to use it. I called and they were able to get me in same day. My therapist was Oscar, and he was great! Listened to exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. I felt very relaxed. The office itself is very clean and theres a little lounge area too to relax while waiting. Ill definitely go back.

Michelle was amazing. Do not be discouraged by the fact that she only does like pressure, She was amazing. Her energy is so calming and relaxing. It was one of the best massages Ive had in a while!

Overall an okay experience with such a price for a massage.The massage on the face was good but when the massage specialist was not applying any pressure on the hand but it felt like she was just applying a creme in the hand and upon telling that you can apply the pressure but she didn’t really do nothing g but just laughed out on that.Will not try again for sure.

First Time at a Massage envy and never going back. I had made an appointment for a 2 hour deep tissue massage with extras. I had been given a nice gift card from my husband to unwind because I had back and leg issues. Im a mother/foster parent of 7 kids and my time is scheduled out so that I can attend my appointment. I get to my appointment and had to fill out paperwork and then waited for 10 minutes because I always arrive early. Then after making me wait they then tell me my therapist that they scheduled me for is too pregnant to do deep tissue. Then I get told if I can wait a half hour I will be able to still have a massage but it wont be two hours. They then tell me they will pay for the extras like the sugar scrub I had originally wanted. I decide to stay even though Im very disappointed having only made my appointment days prior and its hard for me to reschedule and get a sitter again. How is it that a pregnant womans schedule is complicated to sort out for your clients? My therapist was good so at least that went well. I proceed to check out and there is a high pressure sales pitch to join. In my opinion why do you high pressure someone when you have screwed up their entire experience. I didnt complain or get upset with anyone while I was there just frustrated at the whole unprofessional experience and couldnt wait to leave. After paying with my gift card I didnt look at my total because I had more than enough to cover everything on my card and have another massage. I get home to see they charged me for my extras they said they would cover. I have no desire to go back and use my gift card because now Im told that since Im not a member my prices are higher because when I went the first time I had an intro rate....forget it..... Awful and unprofessional. Having had many massages in my lifetime I dont recommend this company to anyone.

Massage Envy at Arrowhead was very welcoming and clean. Heather was amazing! She was professional, communication was excellent and knowledge of types of massage was excellent. I left feeling and walking great!

I was called back 5 minutes after my scheduled time. Once I talked to the therapist, 1 minute conversation she left for me to undress.She did not come back for 10 minutes.So , the 60 minute massage I paid for was technically only 45 minutes. She was really good however. But feel a little disappointed in the amount of time.

Samantha was amazing. She was attentive to which areas needed the most work but made sure that other areas were not neglected either. She is friendly, polite, and listens to her client. She pays attention to pressure preference but also lets the client know when she is going to work on a trouble spot that may be a bit painful.

Erin should be considered a Doctor. She is amazing. I had cramping in my calves and other things as well. She understood what I needed and was professional every minute!

Was in town visiting and in much need of a deep tissue massage to relieve shoulder and neck stress. Got blessed that Oscar happened to have a cancellation. The BEST deep tissue massage Ive ever had - and Ive had a lot of deep tissue massages. So thankful someone cancelled! .

I’ve been going here for a while now and Ivelina is INCREDIBLE! She was recommended to me and she does not disappoint. I book as far out as I can with her because she is always booked but it makes sense because she is a master at what she does

The biggest disappointment is you are unable to get enough staff to work for working people like myself I work from 7 am to 5 pm. I can get a massage from 4 to 6. And Saturdays to tired to massage at 7 8 9 pm. Had wonderful massage yesterday and next available for her is 10 4. Your staff keeps. Calling and says you have 12 credits but discouraging I cant get in to use them its frustrating when I need a massage I have to find other places and I have always like your company. Thanks

This was my first appointment with Brandy. I had been struggling with neck/shoulder tightness for a few days. She did an incredible job! I left pain free and with improved/more comfortable range of motion in my neck.

I really needed a relaxing time but that just wasn’t in the cards. First my facial got canceled and then I had a 90 minute massage with a guy who I feel so bad for. I have a lot of scars and I think I really disgusted him. He didn’t ask me one time if the pressure was ok, if I was comfortable. He didn’t ask about the scars. He spoke two sentences to me. First to ask if I wanted the table warmer on- which I said yes and he didn’t do it and then to tell me massage was over and he would wait outside for me—- which he didn’t. He didn’t say goodbye or anything. I can only think he was repulsed by me and that maybe he should tell front desk to not put him with anyone who has scars. It was really a devastating experience

I have Fibromyalgia and was in dire need of a massage. Georgiana was amazing and really went to work on my back and neck. When I left I felt so much better. I was able to move my neck and back so much more without pain and constriction . I am leaving for the summer but look forward to more treatments when I get back in September.

Good massage - she has strong hands. The only area for improvement I noticed is her bedside manner. She can be more gentle and slow with the moving of the covers and leg lifts etc. It took away from the ‘relaxation’ part of the massage. She seemed rushed.

I have been getting my message therapy from Nic. He is phenomenal. Nic is very educated in his field and helpful with any issues you may have with your muscles, tendons, pain. I have scoliosis in my lower back and he is able to work that tension out as well as providing helpful stretches to do between sessions. The office is always clean, the ladies up front are very pleasant. Highly recommend.

I had a facial because I got a gift card for Christmas and they had a bonus $20 that was due to expire on 3/20 and I didnt want to let that happen. I have always felt Massage Envy was expensive. It would have been $170+ for a 90 minute Facial had it not been for the fact that I had not been there in over a year or two! So basically I was given the introductory rate. I could tell the gal who did my facial was new due to her nervousness, however she was very professional, gentle and kind. She will gain her experience, blossom into a seasoned esthetician in no time and move on just as all the good ones do. Lastly, I stopped going here a couple of years ago because they stopped using Murad products. I love Murad and use these products at home. Overall it was a good experience!

I just got a magnificent massage from Evalina at the Massage Envy at 81st and Bell Rd. I feel like my neck and shoulders are all healed! She really listens to your problem areas and seems intuitive about where to work

The therapist was kind and personable. They did not try to start conversation which is a major plus in my opinion. When I come for a massage, I want a quiet/ silent experience other than a few questions about comfort, I don’t want to talk. So that was good.As far as technique, I needed more of the longer slow strokes along the back, neck and shoulders. Also touch points are important to me when contact is broken.As far as ME in general I am debating whether to keep my membership. As a member I do not feel any more important than a walk-in from the street. I do not get the coupons that new members get. If I want to give my monthly session to a family member or friend I have to pay the difference? Isn’t that a potential member I am bringing to ME? I should be rewarded not penalized. AND THE PHONES SHOULD ALWAYS BE ANSWERED!!! There have been a couple of occasions where I have called and NOBODY picked up. Disappointing. You get my money like clock work every month. You can depend on it. There should be more perks for members. But I’m beginning to feel like ME is not living up to my money’s value.

I go to the same therapist, Ivelina at Arrowhead, and she is great. Very responsive to needs and friendly as well.BUT ME need to get rid of the stupid mask requirements soon or I’ll stop my membership ! Masks should be optional. Proven NOT TO WORK !!!! No masks other places. Follow the science idiots!

My Mom took me here for a massage for my birthday and both our massages were fantastic. There was a little mishap with the schedule but they were quick to fix it and really took care of us. I would highly recommend this massage envy location!

Just relocated from AL to AZ earlier this year. Due to COVID19, I’ve had my Massage Envy membership frozen all of year 2020. Had my first massage at this location yesterday and was very pleased with cleanliness, temperature checks, and mask requirements. KOLTEN was my massage therapist and I really enjoyed his service provided. He was professional, he listened, and he is an overall good communicator. I had stress & tension in my neck, shoulders, and muscle tightening in my left knee. Kolten used the right amount of pressure and I felt very relaxed afterwards. I look forward to my next visit with him again this month!

I had Oscar and it was my first time seeing him. I have severe anxiety and it was hard to relax. I loved his firm to deep pressure but what was odd was the frequent times he would tap his fingers tips on my back and head (almost like using your hands as spiders crawling). Another weird technique he used was occasionally squeezing my muscles like it was pizza dough. I was in and out of relaxation because of these weird techniques. Overall at the end, I was relaxed but none of my knots were ever fully taken out because of the times he did these weird things. I love this location and I’m always up to trying new therapists, but this was just an overall odd massage.

I have been coming here for almost 14 years now. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else because the service is above and beyond. From the minute you walk in the door, everyone is friendly and inviting. My therapist is very professional and knows exactly how to fix my aching muscles. Thank you for having such wonderful staff.

Kolten really listened to what I had to say and the problem areas I needed attention on. He is by far the ONLY therapist Ive seen (at different locations) that really dug in to my upper shoulders to work out the knots on knots that I have! I live in Surprise but will make the drive to Arrowhead to see him going forward!

Terrible customer service. When I made the appointment I confirmed that both my husband and I would be at the introductory rate of $55 for a one hour massage since we havent been to this location before. Upon arrival one of the girls investigated without need and said we had been into another location months and months ago. All of a sudden she was changing our price to the non introductory rate of $95 each. I have no idea why they didnt know that would be our price when we called to make the appointment and gave them our information in the first place. We told them that we were told it would be $55 over the phone and she said oh, well they were wrong. They offered no solution. We woke up early, got a baby sitter and drove 30 minutes for nothing. We left. No way in hell Im paying $100 for a massage envy chain massage. Ill go to a resort for that kind of cash. Never again.

I had an amazing experience and didnt realize how much pain Ive been carrying on my right side- I havent had a massage since before the pandemic and have been working from home on a makeshift desk station. I made Kolten aware of where Ive been experience discomfort before the massage and he was very knowledgeable, professional and mindful. I chose to focus on my trouble area and he thoroughly worked the whole muscle group with care. I am so grateful for this massage- I feel like a million bucks and steps closer to kneading out my pain! Oscar is professional and listens to his client to tailor the massage to meet the needs of his client. He incorporates stretching into his deep tissue massage. He is in great demand so its sometimes difficult to get an appointment with him.

Always a good experience with Jen. Her pressure can go from light to hard depending on how I’m feeling and always leave there feeling good. She is polite and provides Excellent communication on how I’m feeling and how the pressure is. Highly recommend

Ivelina is amazing and truly one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever encountered. Some therapists do some easier/softer moves or don’t use the time as well, but that’s not the case with Ivelina. Dirk is a competent masseuse. He’s professional, friendly, and his techniques are relaxing. Most importantly, he does not chattily converse other then asking “is pressure alright, which is important too me. He did say one thing that bothered me and I’ve never been told before. Dirk noticed I had allergies and informed me, “ you should not get a massage when you have allergies. Massage affects your immune system and you will be sick tomorrow.”

Great massage which was tempered by the annoying voice of a male therapist next to us that would not shut up. He needs to change jobs and become a talk radio host. Totally out of line and made my experience marginal - though my therapist was excellent. Sadly the management has not corrected this problem apparently, as it was well known by staff.

The front staff is over-zealous on sellng membership and having n@you sign forms, they neglected to keep their masks on!!Kristi and Michelle were great and kept their masks on thru the he facial and massage treatments. All of the staff and massage team who I saw appear to be under 30 or 35 years old, and may or may not be vaccinated.. As a senior who is vaccinated I am still being cautious and wish they were proactive about themselves as well as the clients.

Nic is one of the best deep tissue massage therapist that Ive ever had work on me in the 15 years of being in this business. Most therapists deliver a Swedish massave with pressure its not deep tissue. Very good at neck work. Addresses areas that need to be worked on without necessarily telling him which areas are bothering you.

Walked in to find 5 women chatting and drinking coffee. They all looked at me when I walked in but not one offered an ounce of help until I initiated conversation. I informed then if come in for a massage (it was 2pm). I was rudely asked if I had an apportionment and told that there was no way they could get me in without one despite them being open until 10pm, there being no one in the waiting room and the parking lot was empty. Horrible first impression and needless to say, I didnt make an appointment.

My one complaint was that my massage was only 40 minutes. I was last person to be taken to the room for my time slot, then I waited several minutes for her to come back after I had changed, and then she finished early.
