My first visit was great with Ashlee. The atmosphere was very relaxing. 😊 My session did end 10 minutes early. I would have appreciated those minutes since I paid for a 90 minute session. The problems with utilizing my gift cards were a turnoff as well. If you have problems with third party gift cards, just sell them on site. Overall, I did enjoy my massage.

Derrick is beyond a doubt the best massage therapist I’ve had in the entire 6 years I’ve been a member of massage envy.This Massage Envy location was well kept, the beds were in good repair, and all staff members I spoke to were very pleasant.100% recommend.

As a Licensed Massage and Bodywork therapist myself, it is my hope that the ME clients realize that corporate is absolutely NOT a massage experience. From the atmosphere, to the marketing to the quality of massage, Massage Envy should be ashamed. My therapist never treated my quads, hamstrings, arms or hands. An absolute MUST if you are giving an anatomically accurate, healthy and proper massage. About 85% of my 90 minute treatment was spent with my clinician moving from part to part, in a redundant circular motion that I am surprised didnt leave me with skin irritation. I held back the entire time from giving him feedback or better yet, having him switch places with me so I could help him. THEN, there is the cost!!!! Customers, PLEASE, I BEG YOU!!!! Seek a small independent practitioner. One who will listen to your needs, who has studied more than whats required, who can facilitate relaxation and healing and who will not PRICE GOUGE you to sell a package. I used to have a Massage Envy membership, merely so I could go in with anonymity (not tell them I am a therapist), receive a decent treatment and go on my way. I will continue to only exchange with my colleagues in small practice. I tipped my therapist as I know there is no way he is making much of a percentage of the nearly $200 ME charged me for his time. Management/Franchise owners need to put themselves on the tables of their therapists from time to time and re-visit the reason they chose to be in a service giving industry. I feel bad for the general public who visit this corporate massage entity and believe they are having a therapeutic and enjoyable experience. THIS is NOT it.

I love the atmosphere at Massage Envy on Lawndale. Everyone treat you with respect and kindness. And Mr. Lonnie is phenomenal his skills is off the chart very respectful and definitely love his job with passion

Decided to start taking time for me to reduce stress. My first time coming I had tension everywhere except my arms. Decided to get a monthly subscription. Amy is great! Takes times and focuses on specific areas. Time goes by so fast but well worth it!

My kids gave me a $ 150 gift card for Mothers Day. I was super excited! I downloaded my gift card and read all the instructions. I went online and saw the list of services they offered. I chose a 60-minute massage for $ 75 today, and I was planning to book a facial for $ 75 later this month for a total of $ 150. My surprise is that when I checked out, the lady at the front desk ( manager) told me that if I didnt redeem the balance on my gift card today, the price would change, which means that the facial went up to $ 125! Why they dont have that on the gift card??? They had other requirements, but not this one. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. They are MISLEADING the public. I went to relax and left so upset!!! If they had that restriction on the gift card, I have no problem booking both services on the same day. I can follow the instructions if I am aware of them. This place is a total scam!

I love Keith at Massage Envy. I don’t really have to tell him anything because he can tell where I’m having problems at. Keith has 30+ years of experience which I appreciate his skills. I will not see anyone else but him. Outstanding service!

I cant honestly review the quality of the massage itself because I never was able to actually get it. After my session was confirmed, they contacted me multiple times to delay and reschedule. Instead of getting a relaxing massage at the beginning of my day I spent hours in limbo being rescheduled multiple times. I finally just gave up.

I’ve been going to Massage Envy for years, and LOVE this location! Everyone is so friendly and kind. And Sarah is the BEST! Not only is she a great therapist, but we also usually geek out over Star Wars, LOTR, etc during our session. She is awesome! She’s been my therapist for years, and I always look forward to my massages with her.

Jonathan did a great job. It’s been about a year since my last massage and I have some back issues. He paid close attention to my concerns and needs. He provided additional observations after the sessions.

I’ve only had two hot stone massages at this location and I really didn’t think anyone could top my first experience, but Keiyan was amazing!!! I’ve started working out and my body was super sore but I left feeling like I was floating. I planned to cancel my membership after that session but I may actually keep it another year.

The staff is friendly but awkward they seem to not know what’s next after explaining things. They definitely lack time comprehension and management. My appointment over the phone was for 12 but when I called the day of they said 12:30 so I get there at 12:15 to do “paperwork” which is just a tablet asking the same questions you had answered over the phone or when you book online-which is super redundant 🙄 anyways after that I waited and I had to get up and see what was going on because at that point it was 12:40 and as a mom I had to manage MY TIME so that I can pick my 2 year old son from daycare especially if all the services were pretty lengthy-Totally not my fault because I tried to book for anything between 9-11 and they didn’t have anyone available. I forgot who my masseuse was but he had dreads. He was alright..super awkward and clumsy. I would suggest him to cut his nails because I was getting scratched and have better dental hygiene his breathe was incredibly bad and I’m very sensitive to bad odors- instant headaches however the actual massage and stretch was decent. The facial attendant LeLe was very informative..the only questionable thing she said was that the product she put on my face was old/never used…and it seemed that way the papaya cleanser smelled rotten and old. I would’ve enjoyed more steam however the steamer appeared a bit dirty or moldy. Also I think having a standing fan in an open waiting room plus the ac unit is over kill I don’t like air blowing on me and I would suggest figuring out how to get a security camera in the rooms for the future. The owner appeared to just be there I didn’t enjoy seeing her smoking in front of the establishment as well. This location doesn’t provide all the amenities that is on the general website so beware!!! Also it’s not a super luxurious place it looks like a step up from a local massage place not like the fancy places you see influencers going to but then again it’s Greensboro definitely not anything special. I spent $279 on a regular massage, hand and foot scrub, stretch, and an oxygen facial. Based off the results of my facial I didn’t get any wow factor my face honestly looked the same with my neutrogena products 🤷🏾‍♀️ if you want a stellar facial I would suggest just sticking with a dermatologist. My original review was shorter but not I have the time so yea that was my experience as a 29 year old African American mom. Would I go back???? The answer is - It’s definitely a 1 and done experience!!!

Meredith was very sweet, thorough, and considerate. She has a very gentle aura and that reflected through her massage. I experienced maximum relaxation and will be seeing her again. She deserves all the accolades she can get!

My facial experience was awesome. Kiara was very gentle, she always let me know when she was going to apply different things or if there was a temperature change. Definitely going back.

Carolyn was amazing! I’ve had many different experiences from good to bad with other masseurs (at other companies), and she was by far the most intuitive and efficient. I have chronic issues with my lower back and neck. Derrick does a great job in focusing on the issue areas and is extremely helpful in relieving the pressure points. He is highly skilled at what he does!!

I transferred my membership from Brier Creek. This was my first visit to the Lawndale office and I was not disappointed. I went in for a long overdue massage and got Tiffany who was absolutely wonderful! The only complaint I have is it ended too soon. I rebooked for 90 minutes.I cannot leave out Meagan ,the esthetician who did my facial . She was also wonderful ! I rebooked with her as well.

Tiffany was very professional massage therapist. She explained the process and asked about my comfort level several times to ensure nothing was painful.

KeAndre is AMAZING! I had never had a male masseuse prior to this visit. But I had not had success with previous massages and needed some serious deep treatment in my shoulder and back. I was a little apprehensive when I first got there. He was so kind and reassuring. He just has this calmness about him that puts you at ease immediately! And let me tell you... the inflammation and tension are almost gone in just 1 treatment! I even signed up for the monthly plan so I can continue to have him work on those spots for me! Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great masseuse!

KeAndre did an amazing job. You can tell he is experienced and takes his craft seriously. It was one of the most unique massages, not just your generic.

She sniffled the entire time and neither of us was wearing a mask- very unnerving. Barely worked on legs, spent most time on shoulders so much that it became far too painful. Not the best but workable in a pinch.

I come here regularly and have never been disappointed. My experience with Isaac was probably the best experience I’ve had. The areas that bother me the most were targeted perfectly. I don’t think I’ve had this much relief in a long time.

The people are nice …it being my first time there umm it don’t give spa ..meaning the decoration there looks like your in a doctors office….the massage itself from the person I had it was like they was scared to touch you scared to even oil or lotion me down I barley felt any put onto my skin….i came for a 1hour massage and a foot treatment and she barely put anything on my foot lotion/oil and touched my foot for a second …I don’t even think I had a full body massage….my 8year old could definitely work there and get paid because she does a lot better job than that and she knows how to pressure on you even with her small hands you can feel the massage and she’s knows how to give less or med or hard and would very much be satisfied so yea I most definitely had to pay 80$ for nothing just to come home and paid my daughter to get the job done correctly…I will be goin back to the other spa companies I been going to most definitely 🥴

Kdasia is great! All my muscular and bodybuilding people that need firm to deep massages go see her. She does great with separation of adhesions and awesome work on trapezius and rhomboids.

I booked earlier this week for a 60 minute prenatal massage. Didn’t want anything special or add one because I can’t stand the smell of just about anything at this time of my pregnancy. Now I use to be a member but I ended it due to inconsistent visits from myself because of my schedule, so I’m well aware of how it works when you book. The intro rate for this massage is $75 (keep in mind I didn’t add on anything) and that’s the price that I was quoted at the end of booking that would be due at time of service. Today is already a stressful day and I get here just to be told it’s $50 more with no real excuse. So here I am in my car bawling my heart out because this massage was all the money I had to spare to do something for myself. I will never forget this. I may be a bit emotional right now but blaming it on the booking system with no kind of accommodation is below good customer service. I won’t be returning and I’m sorry “Amy” but this is why your appointment with me was canceled today.

I have no complaints about my microderm infusion facial with the exception of how short the service was. Due to it costing two credits I believe guests should be informed that the service is only 30 mins long. Other than that the service went well.

I haven’t been to ME since 2019. I received a gc for Mother’s Day so that is the reason I decided to give another location a chance. Booked an appointment online for a total of $90. Website states introductory pricing offer if not visited in the past 6 months. I decided to add an “add on” to my session as well only to find out the 15 minute add on is included in the 60 minutes massage, no additional time. 60 minute massage is actually a 50 minute massage as 10 minutes for you to get undressed/dressed. I was told at the end of my visit that my total was actually $140 despite what the website states. Not satisfied with ME, feels like I was scammed.

I received a massage from KD, amazing! She spoke softly, very professional, during the massage ahead allowed me to relax and didnt strike up a convo. Amazing job!

This pleace was disgusting. They left thick nasty layers of dead skin on me and my boyfriends face. I called and told them after a few hours I notice blotches of dead skin and they argued that is was standard. Not only that when I spoke to another employee they told me I was suppose to get a scrub with my facical and that someone was going to call me back. The manager was clearly trying to avoid speaking with me so i called three times. A face cleans is suppose to clean your face a remove dead skin but they told me it wasnt which makes zero sense. They massaged skin products in to our faces with their hands and said that was supposed remove dead skin cells. How does a massage remove dirt, oil and dead skin? My face is currently itchy and irritated. The unprofessional, broke, poor manager told me she wasnt refunding me and my boyfriend our money so they are also corrupt scamming thieves aswell.

Wael did an excellent job working on my trouble areas. I have never had a male massage therapist until Wael, and he certainly did not disappoint. Sometimes therapists are afraid of providing too much pressure, but he listened to my concerns and targeted the areas that needed the most help with excellent pressure and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Thanks Wael! We’ll be back.

The people were nice, but my overall experience was not. The pricing is ridiculous for what you get. You are better off supporting a local small business spa where you actually get a full hour on the table. The massage itself was not very good. When I gave them my feedback they offered for me to come back and try a different masseuse at the rate of the $75 intro price. Im sorry, but having someone pay again to fix a bad experience is not how you do customer service. Dont waste your money!

Tiffany if amazing - very attentive to needs and remembers from each visit what your likes are. I thanked her on my first visit for working on my hips and glutes and she’s made it a point to give those areas attention each time. Most won’t even touch that area! I am from out of town here for the funeral of my Father. I was feeling stressed so I treated myself and my 2 family members to a massage. I was disappointed that my session did not start on time almost 20 minutes late and I was cut short without getting a complete massage, legs and feet were not done. My son was next but his session did not start until almost 10-15 late also. I was told they close at 9 and the last session started late, after 8, so he would not get a complete 60 minutes. This was very discouraging for my first and families first visit to a Massage Envy. I was offered a free enhancement but I was not from here and would be going back to my home the next day. I asked if I could get the $off of our bills and the answer was no. I was not even offered something to use at a later date in my hometown. I did enjoy the part of the massage I got but was disappointed at the incomplete service and no compensation for the lost time. I will not be returning.

The massage was excellent!! I would have given 5 stars but my last two facials has only lasted 30 minutes. I received the oxygenating facial which means they use two sessions and it only lasted 30 minutes. Money wise 2 sessions at $75 per session = $150 for 30 minutes! Ripe off! Then I ask the lady up front she said some facials take less time than others!

Jessica was absolutely incredible. She asked me early on and when I told her it was less of a celebration she was very empathetic and respectful. She worked out the crazy number of knots throughout my back and shoulders and used the perfect amount of pressure. I was jello by the time I left. Thank you again for a much needed day of relaxation

He was attentive and thorough when working on problem areas he spent time making sure that I was going to be leaving feeling better than I was when I walked in. I had a deep tissue massage with Keith yesterday (9/16) and again, he left me feeling like a brand new person. I highly recommend Keith as a masseuse especially if you’re experiencing sciatic nerve issues. He’s extremely knowledgeable and patient about his work. I had a lovely massage by Britt M. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire service and even made me doze off a couple of times, which never happens!! A great listener and will make sure to focus on your problematic areas and even provide some tips to do at home. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back!

I recently has both of my hips replaced & she was able to work my muscles around my hips & focused on my shoulders & gave me a longer scalp, neck & shoulder massage as requested. Ke’Andre is an incredible therapist! He is very knowledgeable and always does a fantastic job! My body feels so much better after one of his massages. I was very tight and sore from an overseas trip and he did an amazing job of loosening those muscles.

Lonnie was very professional. I have a torn disk in my knee and he was very careful in that area my leg hasnt felt this good and pain free in 3 months. He explained each step that he was going to do next like applying hot towels ,oil and adjusting lifts.

Dillon is the great! But I had to cancel my membership and I was told I had two credits, but then when I went to use it, I was told I only had one and a half. Then they turned around and billed me for a full hour. This place is a rip off!

Ive been a member for about 8 months and Ive had a great experience every time Ive gone in. All the staff members are warm & welcoming but my massage therapist Lonnie is the absolute best.Not only is he a miracle worker for my migraines, but hes helped me with sciatica pain & issues Ive had for years from herniated discs tweaking my whole muscular system. I truly wouldnt be painlessly walking around without his highly skilled techniques. Hes phenomenal.

Even though my surprise was compromised, the experience was tremendous. Sarah was awesome! The management staff was gracious in rectifying the mistake which added to our experience.
