Today I came in to see Jackie for a quick buzz cut and eyebrow trim. Jackies warm welcome made me feel so comfortable. She took such good care of me and I appreciate it greatly. Thank you Jackie for you hard work and Thank you Salon Uruku for you continued service. You all are the bees knees. 💙

Great service, affordable pricing especially for such amazing quality service and product. LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out, I feel so much more like myself. Natalie was amazing and helped me achieve what I wanted from my limited knowledge. Literally just so amazing, highly recommend. Also was a lot quicker with top notch quality unlike other salons.(The 1st picture is the day after)

Kira is amazing with cut and highlights. I use to see Rachel before she left (miss her greatly) BUT Kira made it an easy transition to a new hair stylist. She’s such a wonderful person too!

Everyone was very friendly from stepping through the door until the end of service. Natalie did an amazing job on my hair! I feel so much lighter, and my hair looks thicker. Overall, I feel much better. Im planning on going back regularly and also trying out their nail services. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I never get my hair done because usually I end up not being satisfied not to mention having a little bit of anxiety issues, but my sister suggested that I go here and they sent me to Natalie Loos And I had the best haircut I ever had and she was the most sweetest person felt very comfortable there and very satisfied. I was surprised to find out she was new there. I’m definitely going back and definitely recommending all of my friends.

I had my hair trim with Natalie Loos, she was able to get me in the same day I called and she did a good job on my hair trim. I’m a very nervous person when it comes to getting myHair trimmed due to bad experiences. But she did it very quick and looks great. My hair needed a good trim. I’ll definitely be coming here in the future to get my hair done, and to schedule a lash lift. The salon was perfect, it was nicely kept and cozy, a very chilled environment.

Natalie was AMAZING. I decided to make a huge change and she was very helpful and listened to what I was going for. And I was shocked by how well my hair turned out. I went from medium length hair to a pixie and it turned out amazing. She was also very nice and funny which made the experience even better. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Janet is the absolute best! Shes been cutting and coloring my hair whenever Im in town. She is very up to date on current trends in color and styles and will make suggestions on what will work or not work with my hair.

Great place to get your hair styled and have your hair colored and highlighted. Debbie the owner and stylists are all wonderful to talk too. Have been going to them for over 30 yrs.

Jackie was great! She took the time to listen to what I wanted, liked, and disliked. Conversation flowed easily and she made sure I was satisfied with my color and cut before I left.

Wonderful Salon filled with friendly faces. My stylist Maria does such a wonderful job, I always get so many compliments on my hair. I also occasionally get my nails done here as well and Renae has the cutest nail designs!! This is such a gem to have in Harrison.

As always, Jackie took my vague description of a haircut and gave me exactly what I wanted!First time seeing Renae for a manicure, but Ill definitely be seeing her again. Working freight, she gave my hands the attention they needed.

I decided to try extensions for the very first time several months ago… Jackie was super friendly, patient, and so helpful! Not to mention, she does absolutely AMAZING with tape-in extensions!! For as long as I get extensions, I’ll never go to another hair stylist or salon. They’ve had me sold since day one!

Janet was recommended from a friend to do my daughters hair for homecoming. Janet listened to what my daughter was wanting and was able to make that happen for her. We both were very pleased with Janet. She was very kind, personable, and did a great job on my daughters hairstyle for hoco. Would recommend Janet!

Today I was a first time client of Uruku and I couldnt be anymore happy with my entire experience! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. One of the first things I noticed is how clean everything was. I loved the whole atmosphere of Uruku. Mandy was my stylist and she made me feel so comfortable. She listened to exactly what I wanted. She was honest about what would work with my hair going from a terrible at home bleach and box dye to what I wanted to accomplish. She exceeded my expectations. I have never felt so relaxed and comfortable at a salon in my life. After my first visit today I will be a forever returning customer. Thank you Salon Uruku for such an amazing experience and thank you Mandy for going above and beyond!!

Kyra is the absolute best! I can’t thank her enough for how healthy my hair is since she has been my stylist. All of the staff are very friendly.

I was a first time client here last night. I arrived about 30 min early for my appointment with Janet at 530. I was informed that there was one appointment ahead of mine and they would call me when I could come in. 530 came and went and around 540 I got the call. The receptionist was polite but I was greeted by a masked employee who didn’t introduce herself but shoved a thermometer in my face. I then realized it was Janet. She then ushered me to her chair. I showed her what my concerns were with my existing highlights and a picture from their own gallery on their website of what I was hoping to achieve. After trying to explain to her what I wanted she says, “well why don’t we just do your cut first”. I was taken aback by this statement because she never acknowledged what I wanted or suggested what low light would look best. She never even brought out her color samples. She appeared irritated and indifferent and I felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. Then she said I don’t think you need a full we can do a partial. Then she said she would be right back. Never offered me anything to drink, water etc. 20 minutes went by and she’s still not back. The receptionist was not at her desk and I have no clue what she is doing because we never decided on what color we would be doing. The back door is closed and no updates at all. I finally got up and walked out. No one called me to following up on my experience. I never felt more unwelcome at a salon in my entire life. I do not recommend them.

Simply Awesome!Debbie has been cutting my hair for almost 4 years and is the master of mens cuts. All of the staff is excellent and the environment is welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend Salon Uruku for anyone in the Harrison area looking for a stylist.

Salon Uruku is convenienly located, always clean and dedicated to giving good service. I trust Jackie to always do her best and I think you cant go wrong with any of the stylists there.

Kyra cut my 14 yo son’s hair. He is very picky. She took a lot of time to discuss what he wanted and then she explained what she was going to do. He loved the look of the cut when all was said and done.

I do Not like to give negative reviews. So, I will begin with the positive & branch out from there. I was scheduled for a one hour facial, & this review references that service ONLY. I arrived on time, & was greeted warmly by the receptionist. She was sweet & helpful. I waited in the waiting room for approximately 5 - 10 minutes. The esthetician? greeted me & escorted me to the proper room. She asked if I would like my décolleté treated as well. I said I would, & she then spent another approximately 5 minutes looking for a drape. After no avail, she returned to suggest I get comfortable in whatever dress that may be & she would return shortly. I undressed & laid on the most uncomfortable spa table I’ve Ever known. I’ve had many spa experiences over the years, & this was by far the worst. I have a bad back, so I asked if I may have a pillow to put under my knees. No pillow available. She gave me a blanket, but offered no help whatsoever in helping me be comfortable. She then rummaged through her supplies, pulling several out from under her sink. The facial began with no reference to Any of the products she was using or Why she was using a specific product. This is an Aveda salon!! Most estheticians examine your skin, & refer you to that product with the hope you will like it & purchase the product. I had even mentioned to her that I had brought along an old tube of a mask I had liked & was looking for a replacement. She then proceeded with my facial. I’m fairly sure this is Not her full time job. After the facial & My redressing, I proceeded to the receptionist to pay for my services. She did not speak to me again. I saw her in a back room, but she did not ask if I was satisfied with my service or reference me in any manner. I paid for the service - with a tip - but will not be returning. Point being, she was Extremely ill prepared, & was not helpful with Any information on products. Disappointing.

I always have a great experience. Not only does my hair feel wonderful but I love spending time with my stylist Janet!
