Massage Envy

After moving here 18ish months ago, Ive been on the hunt for a massage therapist who does an actual deep tissue massage. As an active person and weight lifter, Ive found it difficult to find a therapist who actually applies enough pressure in a deep tissue massage to loosen up those tough spots.After trying several different therapists and massage studios, I found William at Massage Envy and what a gem! Ive been doing deep tissue massages with him for a few months now and he is super respectful, timely, and really is able to dig into some of those knots. He truly is fantastic and I actually started changing my 60 minute sessions to 90 minutes because he is that good!

I’ve been going to William for several months now, and I have to say, he is one of the best therapists I’ve ever been to hands down. I’ve had massages at a number of spas all over the country and all over the world. He has a wide range of pressure, his deep pressure is phenomenal, he pays attention to what your body is telling him, and is very professional. Highly recommend William!

Thought I would just have to live with the pain I had, and was doing so for years. Then I signed up for stretching at Massage Envy. Aline has worked with me and after just a few appointments the pain is gone and my range of motion is nearly back to what it was before. Couldn’t be more grateful and pleased with her fine work, which I am sure based on my wife’s assessment of her time there is indicative of the overall excellence Massage Envy provides. And, yes, the messages are great as well.

Everyone here is so nice. Heather is fabulous. I told her I wanted a relaxing massage, and thats what I got. Shes great! Newbie tip: if you go a few minutes early, you get to relax with a hot towel around your neck before your appointment.

Oh my goodness. WILLIAM!!! Bro, that massage was incredible. I went in with so much pain and so much stiffness in the neck. I got deep tissue and I feel like I have a brand new body right now. Make sure you go visit this envy. Everybody is super nice, and William for sure is one of the best massage therapist ever.

I have been to Massage Envy several times and always had a positive experience. This was my first time to this specific branch. My massage with William was by far the best I’ve had at Massage Envy. I look forward to going back.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.I enjoyed my down time spent with the aroma therapy and music. My therapist was very conscious of my comfort. I would prefer a deeper massage ( I asked for more pressure twice) to enjoy the benefits of release. I feel I received a classroom once over and left with the same tension in my body that I arrived with. My mind was relaxed and calm.Im sure these things come with time , experience and confidence.I look forward to my next visit.

Aline was wonderful! I would recommend her to anyone. I was very stiff and held tension in my neck. She relieved all of that. I am able to turn my head without pain. Thank you! I’ll be back to see her again.

This was my first visit at this location. The staff was friendly and very helpful scheduling appointments. My therapist, William was fantastic. He by far was the best therapist I have ever had. Will definitely be going back to him.

Ben is so great!!! Hes very knowledgeable about muscles and how they work. He is an exceptional massage therapist and so in tune with his patients. I suffer with multiple reasons of pain, and Ive never felt such improvement like I have after my visits with him. Hes a definite keeper for therapy! He has such an upbeat personality as well. I have had chronic upper back pain for years and see a pain specialist. Have tried just about every treatment available with limited improvement. One therapeutic massage with Ben and I saw substantial improvement!!! Was able to play with my grand babies without pain for the first time. Miracle worker in my book!!

The service I got was great. What I didnt like nor appreciate was the fact I was not informed in advance that there would be an additional charge after my service. I thought that was very rude and poor customer service. I should have been informed upfront about any charges. But, it wasnt my first bad experience with this company.

Massage Envy of Hixson is a must. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I have had many massages over my lifetime and find I am pretty particular. Once I find a therapist I like I do not leave them. The massage therapist I see at Massage Envy is Heather. She is absolutely amazing and is one of the best therapist I have ever seen. She is a 10/10! I highly recommend her and this office for your next massage.

Since I’ve been going to Massage Envy in Hixson and seeing Ben he’s really helped lessen the stiffness and pain in my neck and back. I would highly recommend both the company and the therapist.

This office runs efficiently and all staff members are great. Massage therapist, Mary, is awesome! I had a rough couple months and she made sure that she addressed the most tense spots to provide relief.

It was my first experience with Elise and it was very good. I think I need to be more specific about what I needed to get the best massage possible. Next time should be even better.

Benjamin always makes sure he asks me about current concerns and does his best to work on those areas. He takes the time to understand what my underlying issues are.

Ben is absolutely amazing at what he does and I’m so thankful I found him! He is one of the most passionate and knowledgeable massage therapists I’ve ever met and you can tell he loves what he does. I have scoliosis and have suffered with horrible pain for years. Ben has really taken the time to get to know me and not only work to ease the pain but he has taken the time to teach me different ways I can stretch and things I can do at home to help. He is top notch for therapeutic massages and seriously can’t be beat! If you suffer from debilitating back pain and can’t seem to find a solution, you need Ben!!

Be aware and make sure you read the fine print! It is consistently difficult to schedule massage appointments. When I signed up for the plan. I was told scheduling is flexible, credits do not expire and I can cancel after 1 year. Today I found out if you cancel your membership you have 60 days to use your credits. I have only been able to book 2 massages in the whole year. I will likely lose the credits i have paid or continue paying for a service that is inconvenient. I am very disappointed. I regret signing up. Unless you have a super flexible schedule and are able to book weeks or more in advance DEFINITELY DO NOT JOIN! I wish zero stars were an option.

Eliese and the staff were awesome! It was my first time at this particular location and they all made me feel welcomed.I had been having an issue with my left shoulder for about a week. I went to see if I could get some relief. Eliese listened carefully and knew exactly what needed to be done. I spent 90 mins with her and by the time she was finished I felt so much better. The next morning I had very little to no pain.I plan on going back to see her again.The front desk staff were very friendly. They talked to me about a membership and explained everything to me in detail. I loved that they didn’t pressure me into signing up. I will definitely be looking at a membership with them.Thank you to Eliese and the staff at the Massage Envy in Hixson, TN!

Very clean receptionist area.The tranquility room very calmed and relaxing making me feel “warmed up” for the session. Aline the kind receptionist mentioned there was some tea for customers over there.My therapist was awesome, and made me feel welcome. I slept over my session. I’ve been to many other massage places and this one is for sure the best one I’ve been so far.Bathroom was clean as well and I didn’t want to leave lol Thanks for the experience!!

I had an amazing massage yesterday. Aurora was amazing. Was very thorough with asking questions about what I wanted for my massage. And did she ever deliver!! Pressure was awesome! Firm - deep is what I asked for, and she was great. Her movements where fluid, and I felt relaxed. We ended up chatting a good bit, but she was also comfortable with our quiet moments as well. She checked in several times to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was appropriate. She is 5 stars for sure. I travel for work, but if I find myself back in town, I will definitely come back for Aurora. Thank you!!

I got a massage with Heather today! She goes back and forth from Hamilton Place and Hixson. She was awesome! The way she used her hands and massaged exactly where I needed it. I have sciatica pain in my leg and a frozen shoulder. She worked on both of those areas and I was way less sore when I walked out. I even told her I think she is Massage Envys secret weapon. My wife said she really enjoyed this location and her massage therapist, Bailey. She was very friendly and welcoming. Bailey tailored the massage session to her individual needs and was personable. We will be coming back for sure!

Havent had a massage in a long while. Went today and was greeted by a very sweet girl at front desk. Then met the massage therapist, Jayette. She is an incredibly awesome lady and super massage therapist. That was my first experience with Jayette and I already feel like she knows me better than family. It was an fantastic experience. Therapeutic and relaxing. Very comfortable.

Appointment confirmation is timely. Front office desk support is friendly and that is all before you even get to the amazing massage by Rachel who carefully listens and adjusts her rotations based on your needs. Her focus and blend of massage and stretching to focus on my problem areas vs a predetermined rotational program make my visits a must. Highly recommend!

Received a 60 minute massage from Mary. It was an excellent massage. I receive massages regularly and have for years. I’m looking for a firm massage, and that’s what I received. Check in and out and ambience was also nice. Plus, since I’m a Massage Envy member, the price was great, too.

Janette was a very thorough and good masses. She was very personable and enjoy to talk with and made you feel at ease. The ladies at the reception desk were polite and helpful. I also got to see one of my favorite girls while there[a personal friend Ahna Lewis). It was a very nice experience .

Ahna was fabulous! I had the microdermabrasion treatment. She did such a great job explaining the process to me upfront and what to expect after the treatment. She even checked to make sure all the products were gluten free for me. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

You use to offer hot towels after or during massage need to get that back, if you booked with one therspist and she cant be there we need to know that because we may not like who you put us with

I am usually not one to leave reviews… BUT DANG my back and shoulders have never felt so good. I started coming to massage envy for about two years ago and I’ve never seen Brandon before. HE IS AMAZING!!! I have scoliosis and severe back and shoulder pain and I’be never had such relief in those areas in my entire life. I could cry. 10/10 recommend seeing Brandon and the rest of the staff!

REVISEDHad my 1st facial with Massage EnvyMy anesistatist was Ahna. My friend and I were in the couples area (Hixson is the only 1 in our area to offer the couples facials due to the water bowls). Ahna used Marini product smelled so good. I was considered about an aging spot I have and some dry skin and redness on my nose and cheek area.. after getting relaxed she had cleaned my skin looked for any skin damage my age spot at my hairline showed and the dryness around my nose. ( I had been on the river and pool 2 weeks prior 1st burn of season) was the only thing she really needed treatment otherwise at 50 my skin was perfect. Recommended the Marini brand it was most sensitive. My skin felt amazing afterward. So soft. Ahna was gentle and let me relax during my facial but afterward explained what I needed to treat my skin. I know my friend and I will be back for more facials. I am a member for body message and facials, getting the discounts when I need extra services during the month is a plus.**Since my review I have been advised thier interest is to get as many people in. When you check out you are asked if you want to leave a tip and told what the normal tip is very rude about it**

It was clean and they were very friendly. My appointment was for a 60 minute massage. The room was nice, didnt care for there choice of music it was like a funeral home would play. I entered the room at 935 and at 1010. The MT told me to take my time getting dressed so it was actually only a 35 minute massage. Not sure as to why. As for the massage its self. She mainly massage each rib never even touched the middle of my back. She used 2 finger most of the time which was not relaxing at all. I didnt enjoy this massage at all Ive have many other at other places and they were absolutely wonderful. Not sure if this is just how they do it or if there was a miscommunication. So my advise would be to clearly make it known what you want and how. Also I would make sure got a 60 minutes from the time you entered the room.

The team here really is top-notch. Great front desk staff and great massage therapists make for an overall pleasurable experience. I am thankful to have less pain in my back, neck, shoulders, and feet because of them!

This was my first time at a Massage Envy & I am new to the Hixson area. I read the reviews & was a little unsure what to expect, but I was experiencing back pain & had received a gift card at Christmas that I wanted to use. I looked through the names of all the massage therapists on their website & like a shot in the dark, I booked with Mary. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Matthew at the front desk who was so kind & sweet. He was very professional checking me in & answered all of my questions. He then showed me to the serenity room where I waited for Mary. Mary came & got me right on time & we discussed what brought me in for my massage & the specific areas I was hoping she could focus on. Mary did not disappoint !!! She did an amazing job & her pressure was perfect! Not only was this one of the best massages I’ve ever had, but also one of the best overall experiences! Afterwards, I inquired about the membership program & eagerly signed up for it without being pushed or pressured about it one bit. Matthew thoroughly explained everything about the membership & patiently answered all my questions. He even recommended other massage therapists with similar skills, in case Mary was unavailable when I wanted to come back. I highly recommend this location & last night had the best night’s sleep that I’ve had in almost a year!

Mary listened to me carefully and addressed my problem areas on my back and neck! I enjoyed getting to know her and so appreciate how well she addressed my problem areas following a couple injuries. She is professional in how she does her job, but very welcoming. I look forward to my future appointments with her.

Heather always gives an excellent massage!

My recent facial appointment with Raylon was perfect. She is professional, kind and friendly. I enjoyed my facial and scheduled a microdermabrasion that I was also very pleased with.

The only complaint I have is that I paid for a 90 min massage. We started on time at 4. But at 5:20 it ended. I’m just not sure what happened to the other 10 min I paid for. I was dressed and checked out by 5:24 when they ran my card so I could apply a tip.The therapist was really good!

My facial with Ahna was wonderful. I have just completed 6 months of chemotherapy and my skin is very dry as a result. I chose a moisturizing facial and it provided what my skin needed, and was very healing for me.

I get great massages and stretching sessions. Staff is always friendly.

My first experience went smoothly in and out no problems as I have a membership. Second time was much worse. Had me book it out over a month in advance. Then got no text messages (like every other ME does), No email. No reminders on booking over a month out. Got a phone call an hour after the expected time and I got a reciept email tho. Horrible place I will NOT be going back. That is extremely unprofessional having people book over a month then skimp me of 80-90$ for my session that you always have given plenty of reminders etc. Horrible place.

Katelin was an amazing Estie! Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions! Loved my Nourishing Light treatment, it was very relaxing, the cooling globes were definitely one of my favorite parts! So glad they’re making them available to add on to any facial service!

Taralynn is the consummate professional! Always gives the best massage! I have been a member for approximately 7 years or more, never put my account on hold during Covid, but I am seriously thinking about canceling my membership. Not because of anyone locally - but die to corporate policies.

Sarah is such a great massage therapist. She is very technical when it comes to finding all your knots and stressed places. She makes great conversation but also gets quite when you zone out (and possibly snooze). I would highly recommend her!

I am a regular customer at Massage Envy (5591 Hwy 153, Hixson TN). I go there once a week for facial. The staffs are friendly, professional, and courteous. Amber is my therapist. I am totally happy with the quality of service received. I can see improvement of my facial skin as a result of this service.

I had an appointment for 6:30 pm.i got there a few minutes early only to arrive there and be told it would be another 45 minute wait. No one called me before I drove all the way there and the front desk person did not seem to care. Not making another appointment with them again.

Great person who understands how to take care of any body issues

My husband and I went on 2/21 and got couples massage. I forgot the names but I got a young male and hubby got a female. We were very pleased! Hubby is very tight and his therapist got all his spots. Mine did very well, focusing on all knots and easing tension. We loved them!

Receptionist was sweet and massage therapist was friendly but massage was very unpleasant. I was ready for it to be over long before it was. I specifically said my legs and calves had been bothering me and they were hardly touched and her hands were cold. The table was too hard and the room was chilly. The whole experience had a very corporate feel to it. I will not be returning.

As usual, Mary is excellent. She is the only massage therapist I trust to work with me while I am in physical therapy. She is at the top of her profession in my opinion. Massage Envy Hixson is lucky to have her.

I was able to make a same day appointment. Ahna is so great; she explains everything that shes doing, and I leave feeling totally relaxed and refreshed.

This was the second massage I’ve had from Mary. She does an excellent job. Worked out stiff and sore muscles in my neck and legs. I highly recommend her. Steve

Went there for a massage with my girlfriend, had the appointment set up for roughly 2-3 weeks. We had gift cards to pay with. Before going back we were told by the front desk clerk that $40 had been taken off the cards due to a cancellation. We advised her that we had never made a reservation in the past, and the money should not have been taken off the cards. She just said interesting, I told yes it was interesting. Then she stated that she would try to get the money back on the cards. But her manager conveniently was not in the office to authorize it. So she wanted us to pay the extra $40 on the assumption of getting a refund. This place is poorly managed, and a rip off! Find a better place to go.

Ahna was very nice and professional. She answered all my questions without hesitation. I will definitely see her again and will refer her to my friends and family.

Mary was fantastic…I’ve been a ME member for many years and have had a lot of therapists during that time. Nothing but the best from all three Chattanooga locations and Mary has now taken the top spot in Hixson…can’t wait to work with her again!!

Hadn’t had a massage since COVID started. It was good to get a massage in given my recent back problems. Technician did an awesome job!

Bailey does a phenomenal job! If you need deep tissue and are active in sports or fitness, I highly recommend you go to her.

I just had my another session with Jayette and she’s incredible. I suffer with fibromyalgia and she is very knowledgeable about the condition and my session was catered to my needs. I left relaxed and very happy as always!

Rob at Massage Envy in Hixson is the best massage therapist I’ve run across. He’s uniquely talented with a great personal energy, laid back, positive. I highly recommend him and will continue to book appointments with him.

I had a chemical facial with Amber at the Hixson location. She is great. She is gentle and very knowledgeable. It was an awesome experience. I will do it again in 4 weeks.

I liked the massage from the therapist, Patrick, enough that I signed up for a membership. I have a medical issue that massage is very helpful for, so being able to be seen frequently is a good thing. I have been coming here for a month without issue. However, after booking an appointment a week ago using their online app, I came in today to be told I wasnt on their appointment list. Weird, because I had the confirmation that the appointment was booked. Was told there were no openings until Monday and apparently, according to the receptionist, this isnt the first time this has happened. Im extaremely disappointed and upset that my time and gas have been wasted for nothing and there was no attempt by staff to rectify situation other than I Im sorry it sucks. Moral of the story, CALL THEM TO VERIFY BEFORE you spend the time and money driving all the way here.

Very knowledgeable and great at his job!

We booked a couples massage for our first anniversary and went in only to find out they booked us for the wrong day. I had made the appointment the day prior, so I’m not sure what the mix up was. We were traveling so could not just simply “reschedule”. They gave us a voucher for a free massage which was the least they could do, but it didn’t change the fact that we were excited and looking forward to our first couples massage on our first anniversary and did not get to experience it.

Jayette is truly amazing! I have fibromyalgia and massage is the best treatment for me. Jayette is very knowledgeable about my condition and I rarely have pain afterwards, which is rare after any massage. In fact, my muscles feel more energized than ever.

Sarah gives the best massage and creates an atmosphere of safety and relaxation like none other that I have experienced! So grateful for Massage Envy and for their commitment to excellence!

Everyone is so very nice! I have had several different masseuses and all were good. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 starts is a painful experience trying their new stretching service. She went from zero to 60 when pulling, prodding and pushig...there was no warm up for cold muscles beforehand. My back was sore for a week afterwards. My Mom also had the stretch with a different person and liked it, so maybe it is all about who does your stretch.

Mary did a great job and this was my first visit with her but definitely not my last. I slept better last night after my massage than I had in a long time

I called because I have money taken out to them for awhile. I stopped over 2 years ago and havent been back. Trying to get with them to make sure to check it out! Havent heard back. Does this mean I due some money or massages.They give excellent massages but had to end my session to financial problem . I hope they will help .

Every time I try to deal with this location there is ALWAYS an issue! Last year tried to go to their location when I was in town with my sister and they changed our appointment 3x needless to say we never got it because my sister had to get home after we sat and waited. We were promised enhancements for the inconvenience but found out they were never added to our profiles. Then for my sister and brothers birthday I transferred two of my credits to them as birthday gifts only to get a message from my sister that they were CHARGING THEM! No one seemed to know what was going on, there was no manager to talk to as usual. I was assured MULTIPLE times I would get a call from the manager the next morning to make sure they were were refunded, transfer fees waived and enhancements were added... 4 days later and still nothing. Called and of course no manager and more false promises. Wish I could leave no stars

Ive been getting massages once a month for years and that was the worst massage Ive ever had. i have a spinal disfiguration called scoliosis that has me in muscular pain nearly all day every day. i go to get massages for relief and to work out muscle tension in my back along the sides of my spine. i told the masseuse this and she spent 80 percent of the time on my ribs shoulder blades and my tailbone/ high glutes. literally everywhere that wasnt along my spine and it was all painful because there wasnt hardly any muscle where she was digging into. it was just nerve and bone. i have a high pain tolerance because of my disorder and this woman had me wincing and i had to tell her to stop a couple times. i was not relaxed for the entire hour and left more stressed with more pain than i had when i got there. the spa did not require that i pay which was good on the managements part but their quality of staff i was very disappointed in.

This place is amazing, the staff is friendly, they are concerned with your needs and work to make you comfortable. Being a member means a monthly massage and great low costs in between, not to mention if you are out of town you can go to any other across the country. Pretty cool i must say, not only do they upsell and basically hang up on you if you ever have to cancel a appointment not to mention atleast half of what the massage costs, they try and charge my account every morning at 9 am for double the membership payment even though i havent been there in over three months
