Massage from the gentleman that works there was great. He is really knowledgeable and does a great job. 4 stars because it is a place to get relax and concentrate but the noise outside from the other people that work there was so annoying. They don’t seem to understand the environment that place needs to offer.

Deep tissue massage with Elizabeth was fantastic. Top 3 in my life. She is strong and truly cares about her work. Im so thankful I found this while in town!

From the moment I called, Maria made my experience 10/10. I work in the hospitality industry, and I can say hands down, that this has been the best service Ive received. It was my first time doing wax, and they went out of their way to make sure I was absolutely comfortable. My tech was Lida, and she was absolutely amazing!! Very gentle, making sure I was in no paid and comfortable with each strip that she pulled. Two hours in session were not felt at all, I am definitely coming back here for that and their other services.

Very clean and professional. I go here often for my wax and massage. I just wish they had more walk in opportunities. They work mostly off of appointments. If you walk in they will give you a appointment. But other than that there great.

Luma is the absolute best!! This was my first time at WaxArt Spa and I was very pleased. The woman at the front desk was professional and friendly. Luma did my wax, and not only made me feel comfortable - but she took her time making sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this place!

I popped in one day when I was pressed for time & needed my lip & eyebrows waxed. They got me in quickly, but the wax job was not great. I had to go home & clean up stragglers. After a $40 wax, I should not be cleaning up stray hairs, the technician should do that. She was busily chatting with my son about his iPad game & I dont believe she paid a great deal of attention to her job. She recommended a moisturizer & I bought it, but decided I didnt want it. They told me no returns when I took it back the next day, completely unopened. I wont be returning.

I usually never give a review but seeing as all the reviews here and i messed up not reading them before going to this place. The front desk is extremely rude and i just didn’t like her attitude. And it seems like im not the only one that had experienced this. Im giving a 3 star because of the person who waxed my eyebrows but if not i would give a 1 star. I went there as a walk-in because on instagram they keep posting about we accept walk-in. So When i got there i said hello and asked if they accept walk-in even though i already saw it through social media. She said with an attitude depends what you are doing and i said ny eyebrows right away she said yes. I had also asked a few questions about the henna and powder brows since its being promoted on instagram. Her response with an attitude, “no we dont do that here”. I had to tell her oh because its on instagram so i was interested in it. Then she changes her words “well we have a girl who does but thats only by appointment.” And i said oh ok well then just my eyebrows, and instead of her allowing me to finish my sentence she interrupts me and calls on the tech. I even told the tech that they front desk has an attitude and shes rude and the tech had to say oh dont mind her shes just having some issues. The front desk was also on the phone talking personal matters like those are work hours you shouldn’t talking chisme while working. Just for the rudeness im not going back. And its just sad because it’s literally 5 mins from house now i have to drive far again just for these services.

First time walking in and asking about facials, the front desk lady was giving a lot of attitude for no reason. If I knew about facials, I wouldn’t asking. Front desk lady showed so much attitude for no reason. Treat first time customer with more respect and smile at least. I will recommend no one to go here due to the lack of not welcome at all. Worst place…..

I have been a client here for a long time, and I’ve watched it fall apart with the customer service currently at this spa is unacceptable! The person answering the phone sound like they are sleeping and when I ask for an appt they instantly said we are booked without verifying it was an instant response and offered zero option for a different date, before I could say maybe a different day? She said okay, bye. I love the tech’s who work here never had any issues with the actual services performed but the customer service/ receptionist person really is not beneficial towards this establishment and I am disappointed because it’s close to my house and it’s always been an easy go to option for me. Last time I went the reception did not even say hello or welcome and no one else was there.. which I’ve ignored but it’s only getting worse!!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Carmen is the best! She makes you feel very comfortable and I always laugh and enjoy my appointment with her. The front desk ladies are pleasant and accommodate me as best as possible.

If I could put 0 stars I would. My sister and laws and I scheduled appointments 2 days prior (Friday) as I am in town visiting from Tampa. We wanted to have a spa day together, and seen good reviews for this spa. The day of our appointments (today) as we are on our way, we get a call 5 min before 1 of our appointments that 1 of the massage therapists didnt show up. They didnt accommodate or try to resolve the situation in a professional manner, tried to reschedule her for 4pm (appointments were at 11 when they opened). When we arrive at 11:05 I was told that my massage therapist didnt show up for work either!!! We waited outside for 45 minutes, and my massage therapist named Ana finally shows up!! She came to me outside telling me shed give me a massage for 30 min. I told her no we were going to go somewhere else for all of the inconvenience and unprofessionalism. She starting giving me attitude and sent me inside to see the receptionist. All we got was a sorry after that whole experience. WORST customer service Ive ever experienced, as we all work in the customer service industry. I would hope they dont treat their next customers this way!

My second time going. Once for a wax and this last time for a massage, and I have been disappointed. I feel like the ones providing (ME) services both times lacked some experience. I doubt I will go back for a third time. 2 stars because they have many services to choose from.

My wife used the massage services because she was very stressed, and now we try to schedule again with Liz who was the person who provided the service and is no longer available. We want to mention that the service provided by her is very professional and uses all the techniques required to achieve the expected results. We would like to know if Liz will provide these services again. Thank you for the excellent quality of your services.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years for waxing. Ive never had a bad experience except for one recently. However I called and cordially spoke to Lisa the manager and she was so understanding and apologetic about the whole thing. She made sure to make me feel appreciated and important. & she made me feel like my concerns were valid and justified. She was more than willing to rectify the situation for me. She was kind and sweet and I appreciate her so much for her doing it all so quickly. I came back two days later and Dayana made everything better on top of making me feel great. The whole process was easy and I thank them for their professionalism and courteous manner in their resolve. Everyone is so friendly from the girl in the front who makes your appointment to the ladies in the back who handle your services. Thank you ladies for everything 😗💗🎀

The only place I trust for my facials. Carmen is great! So sweet and she definitely knows what she’s doing. My face has cleared up a lot since starting treatment with her. Also, she gets me eyebrows right all the time! Great place all in all :)

Ive gone here for a couple years. My go-to for a Brazilian. Pricing is reasonable, definitely recommend the packages they offer. Estheticians are knowledgeable and try to make is as fast and pain free as possible and always leave smooth skin. I really like this place. Really need some massage therapists to be more available! 😁

This is my second time coming to this salon and today i had such a horrible experience. The lady in room 3 did not want to be at work today. She was so ruff to the point where she made me cry. I left with a lot of hair. She was so ruff to the point where I bleed. If I didn’t ask for the cooling off gel she wasn’t going to apply it and when she did she barely applied any. I left with so much pain. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied with my service today. She barely talked to me and everything. She kept waxing over the same areas that turned my skin red. I don’t have sensitive skin and it’s not my 1st time getting waxed. I expressed to the front desk service lady how horrible she was. Go to luma only she will do a amazing job and give you a great experience. But the lady in room 3 ruined it for me. I don’t think I wanna go back after that

I love coming here to get my Brazilian wax. The staff are all sweet hearts. I go to Carmen as my number one but if she isn’t available I definitely am comfortable going with any other one there. They’re all AMAZING. 1,000/10 recommend.

Ive been a client at the spa for years, I routinely get waxing and massage therapy here. All the estheticians are kind and professional, they always make sure youre happy before letting you go.I would like to do a special mention for Liz who does the best massages, shes very sweet and talented. Im very happy with all the ladies because I know no matter who I get theyre going to do a great job.

Highly recommended. Great packages and the estheticians are super professional. Angela is amazing, I always book my wax appointments with her. This place never disappoints me. Building clean, the receptionist are nice and they give rewards after 3 visits.

Excellent Service. The pricing is reasonable for the service I received (women’s waxing) compared to other local spas. I honesty would not want to pay any cheaper for such delicate areas of my body. You get what you pay for. Appointment process was fast and they had plenty of times that fit my needs. The receptionist was very friendly. My esthetician was very quick, making the service as painfree as could be.

In my opinion it is overpriced for the quality of services. Have tried different times and still not satisfied with as much as Im paying. It seems to be a quiet and relaxing atmosphere but you can hear others throughout the other cubicles. A plus is all staff are very polite and sweet. All around not my cup of tea but options are limited in homestead.

This was my 2nd visit and today I booked a 90 min massage and a 30 min Foot massage. I was 15 min late for the appointment that was scheduled at 645, I arrived at 7pm when I walk in the receptionist was very friendly, she promptly took my temperature and then asked for my payment which I supplied. Now the first time I came I paid when i left.. so go back and the massage was over in 50 min so 755pm she is tapping me say we are finished, mind you my bill was 105 dollars so i said to her maam I paid for 90 min massage and its 755 she said we close at 8pm mind you the door and websites says 830pm. So no foot massage no full 90 min massage but charged full rate! I wont be back and would not suggest any for that matter go there as well. Very unprofessional service will be also reporting to the better business bureau and state attorney generals office for fraudulent services.

My last two visits havent been anything like my first visit. I havent had the same wax tech since June & I go monthly. Each wax tech Ive encountered seems to put less effort into removing the hair. I always leave with many stray hairs. The service was rushed during my last two visits. I dont think Ill be returning.Update 03/26/2021: I tried giving WaxArt Spa a second chance being that its local. I made an appointment on Sunday, 03/21/2021 to have services on Thursday, 03/25/2021. As I was on my way to my appointment, I received a call from the receptionist that the esthetician, Carmen had left for her vacation & there was no one else available to offer me services I requested. She also stated that she tried calling me. I work at a facility in which we cannot have our cellphone in the building, yet there was no missed call, no voicemail, or no text message from anyone at WaxArt Spa. I explained to the receptionist that I too was preparing for vacation on today 03/26/2021 for my birthday & this was extremely inconvenient for me. Its difficult to obtain these services as a walk in or same day. I am sure her vacation was planned like mine so she had an adequate amount of time during the week to notify me so that I may reschedule at a different waxing facility. This was very unprofessional on their part. Im so displeased.

Dayana was really nice and helpful. She did an amazing job with my Brazilian wax!! And she gave some great advice on skin care. I was here to visit my family and Im glad I found this place!!! If I lived here this would be my Go To place!

Funny how Ive been coming to this location for almost 2 years and I never look at the reviews, Guess is better to see for your self. I always have my Brazilian with Angela and also had a facial and microdermabrasion and I must say, I always had the best service. Always on time and great customer service, Never once has the place been dirty. I always see Angela and she is very knowledgeable. I love this place and really dont understand why such ugly reviews.

My first time in WaxArt Spa and I have to say I loved it. The environment is peaceful and you can relax yourself. I went to do my wax and Yelenis was excellent. She gave me confident and I felt like I knew her from long time. I definitely recommend this spa for waxing..I will definitely come back!!

Called same day and was able to be seen. I was worked with and not against. Very personalable staff. Maribel at the front was very helpful and kind. Ricardo was my massage therapist and he was AMAZING. Strongly rerecommend. Will definitely return.

The place is nice and clean and the massages are ok you do get your full hour however I had to take one star because I feel the therapist didnt read or listen to my specific needs and didnt work my glutes at all after asking for that specific work due to lower back pains,but everything else was good and prices are reasonable. I will go again just maybe with a different therapist.

Furthermore I also received confirmation texts to confirm. I just want the curtesy of letting me and other clients know when you’re open and closed so that you don’t run into any issues like what happened to me today. It was my first time. I had Dayana take care of me. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and I booked a second apt with her.

The customer service and front desk are great. Massages are poor. It was a rub with too much oil that wasnt cleaned up afterwards. Really disappointed.

Sent the wife for a massage today as she’s done before however ….today the guy was way to rough instead it being a relaxing time it was painful when she advised him he and acted like he didn’t care and it’s now the evening and she’s still in bad pain in her neck area be aware of who’s doing it.

I’m very sad that the talented waxers will have to be grouped in with such a negative review but because they work in the same establishment I have no choice. Weirdly enough they thought to hire Spanish speaking receptionists but forgot that not everyone in Florida speaks Spanish, no the receptionist do not speak English they try but unfortunately they often mess up. My appointments are often hours off from the time I am told on the phone and my confirmation text. Also the girls can often be heard gossiping with the receptionist in the establishment very unprofessional and uncomfortable.

I had called an hour and half in advance and made an appointment for 11:50 to have a simple eye brow wax. When I arrived I was informed that they were running behind and was asked to wait and I agreed. However at 12:20 I asked how much longer it would be until I could get I would be seen, I was told 5 minutes. At 12: 35 I got up and told them I was leaving. The receptionist told me the person doing my wax was coming out but at that point I was over it. Very unprofessional and highly disappointing.

Horrible customer service. Called 2 days in a row and nobody picked up, then, drove 20 minutes to make an appointment in person and everyone in the back was chitchatting and nobody came up front to help me after waiting 20 minutes. Absolutely insane. They have 4 numbers on their website and none of them work to leave a voicemail or apparently to have an employee pickup the phone. Insane

This was my first time visiting Wax Art Spa. The service was excellent and they were very gentle. I was very pleased because I was pregnant and I’m very sensitive. I will be with returning.

It was my first time and it was terrible experience honestly. After 2 hours I left there looking like I was partially shaved because of how much hair she left on me, and not to mention the globs of wax stuck everywhere on me that she didn’t seem to care to take off. Had to rip it out myself. Traumatic.

Love this place, Dayana makes the service painless and quick! She’s amazing at what she does and genuinely cares for her clients! She takes care of me very well every time i’ve gone, she’s my #1 for everything!! Definitely recommend scheduling your services with Dayana, you won’t regret it!

My wife purchased a gift certificate for me at WaxArt, and long story short received a refund after two issues with appointments. I called ahead and booked my first appointment, arrived on time at Wax Art to be told that customers throughout the day had arrived late and consequently there was no one to provide a massage for my scheduled appointment. So I was penalized for customers lack of punctuality, but let it go. So I leave, and book another appointment for the following week. I arrived on time to my second appointment to be told by the secretary that there was no booking for my appointment, even after confirming a time slot with one of the managers earlier in the week. I asked to speak with the owner, of which he communicated jokingly that I must be the problem. I would not recommend this spa to anyone, the customers service is awful

Ive been going here for years & only had one bad experience. Wax, massage, & majority of Facials are great. I had one facial were I was left with cuts on my face & the lady continued to try to upsale me til it became ignoring. But I smiled it off.

My appt at Waxart was a great experience! The place was very clean and relaxing. There was no wait time and Yudith was very friendly, professional and knew just how to calm me down, being that this was my first time having something other than my brows waxed. All of the staff was also very friendly.... I would definitely recommend any of my friends to come here :)

I felt very uncomfortable, I pretty much laid there with nothing to cover my upper private area. And the next day when I got home I’m in so much pain all over my back, this is day two and I’m in a lot of pain. I would like a refund becuz I don’t think your supposed to experience pain after a massage.

I went in for a full Brazilian Wax one day and the next day I exfoliate only to notice that I still have have down there 😑. I called and spoke to the manager about it and her solution was for me to come in so that I can get the rest removed. Im not sure about everyone else but my area is very sensitive for a few days after getting a wax so for me to go in the next day and get it done all over again was blasphemy

Every time I call the girl who answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional. The only reason I travel 4hrs from the keys to Waxart to get my wax session is for the quality and the fact that the girls who do the wax work are very nice and professional. I hope they can train the people who answer the phone to be more customer service savvy.

Highly recomended the place its amazing but the best of all the esthetician Dyana Cadeau, she did an amazing facial that left my face incredibly clean . Dyana its an expert in what she does, plus very relaxing atmosphere, that makes you want to come back for more.

I have never been disappointed coming here for the service and quality of the wax. For the last 18 years I have had hits and misses with other “wax” places, even having to travel to South Beach for a decent brazilian wax. I found this close to home a few years ago, and have never looked back. Will not disappoint!

I was there on April 3 /2021I had appointment at 10o’clock and nobody came to open the door I had to delay my other appointment because the people never came in to the office they came at 10:30 to 45 I was very upset because they gave me a price of $45 on my Eyebrow tent And when I was going to pay the lady told me it was $56 I never told her to clean them up and they did it and she had told me that that was included I always go there for everything but I’m very upset now he

They would not pick up the phone two days in a row, and they did not return the messages, so I could make an appointment. I found a better place, who picks up their phone right away.

I would go to this place for wax and acne facials when I lived in Homestead. Since I moved to California I have not found a place that I love as much as Wax Art. Their acne facial is truest one the best I have ever had.

I went to Wax Art spa to get a microdermabrasion facial. Firstly the very high price does not include extraction and during the facial the esthetician spent more time trying to sell me their products than cleansing my face. I left extremely disappointed and angry; my pores were huge, my face looked exactly the same as before I went in, a total waste of money!!!

This place is disgusting. I was fired for not wanting to double dip. If this is a professional place, and you are all adults dont you understand that when you are waxing someones genitals and you dont even keep track of anyones diseases and you reuse the same stick; YOU ARE PUTTING EVERYONE IN DANGER. No one in this facility throws away there stick, they use the same one for a whole service. So when they do a Brazilian to a female who has, lets say gonorrhea, they put that same stick back into the wax. And guess what? If youre next, enjoy that gonorrhea on your upper lip.
