Woodhouse Spa - Houston Galleria

I honestly do not know where to begin. We experienced the most professional, relaxing day ever. My girls and I booked appointments to celebrate Galentine’s together. Taylor walked us through the entire process and was very organized. We all were very comfortable from start to finish. The spa is very beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. I have found my spa home for sure!

Champagne on arrival & departure (or another choice of drink). Welcoming, friendly staff from welcoming you to providing information. The facilities & treatment itself was great & felt clean, luxurious, professional & made me feel very comfortable. Overall a VERY Relaxing experience, as a spa should be, thank you!:)

I booked a last minute massage with xavier and Omg! Life has been restored . He was amazing . I wish I lived here because I would come here all the time . I was visiting and after a long day of traveling I decided to treat myself to a massage . I am so glad I chose this place because from the receptionist , to the cleaning crew and the entire team I encountered that day just amazing service all around ! 10/10 money well spent . Everyone was so nice and made my hectic day a calm and peaceful one . Thank you Woodhouse!

TLDR: poor experience overall, especially the maternity massage. Never felt relaxed once. Felt more stressed as I had to go into the galleria on a Saturday. Location difficult to get to.Location:In the galleria - leave plenty of time to arrive and find it as the galleria area is notoriously awful. I ended up arriving about 5 minutes after my service was scheduled to start. They offer complimentary valet parking at neiman marcus which was a nice offer. Ambience is interesting compared to other locations. Not very cozy or warm.Service 1 - 50 min deep cleanse facialAs I said I arrived about 5 minutes late to check in, so after waiting to check in changing in my robe and waiting for my provider I was 25 minutes late. The provider let me know that my service was cut down to only 25 minutes. Ok fair. I ended up getting an express face wash, cleanse mask and moisturizer. No exfoliation, extractions, etc. my pet peeve in facials is not putting anything on the lips on completion. Service ended and I was led back to the waiting room for my next service. Annoyed I still paid full price for this.Service 2 - 50 min maternity massage w/ hair scalp add onMy last service concluded at 2:50 and I was in the waiting room until 3:35 before my provider came. Had the usual 5 minute discussion and got into the massage bed. I was on my left side for 5 minutes and then switched to my right side for 5 minutes and the rest of the service was on my back, which is the opposite of what you want in a maternity massage. Not comfortable or relaxing at all. The lotion used on my legs made them tingle for a while and my feet were completely ignored. The legs weren’t massaged, just applied lotion. I’ve had 4-5 maternity massages out of my two pregnancies and I’ve never had anyone actually rub my belly. It was gentle but a little strange. Service concluded at 4:18.Deep hair conditioner: I booked the add on thinking it added time on to the overall service but instead it was completed within the 50 min maternity massage. This left the actual massage being very short and much to be desired. The deep conditioner was just some spray in a bottle and then they brushed it out for 5 min.Salt room - While waiting in the waiting room between services I was offered the salt room, I said sure but then told it’s an additional charge but discounted. I felt obligated to say yes since it was only $15 and I was put on the spot. After my “massage” they took me into the room and gave me eye googles that messaged me. Salt room was fine, not a big believer in its value. Annoyed I said yes to it.The two front of house ladies were very friendly and helpful.I should have complained at check out but I’m a millennial who hates confrontation. I would try another woodhouse location.

I’ve been to a few Woodhouse locations and don’t write reviews very often but this location is the bomb! We received complimentary salt room and sauna room time which was so relaxing! At first I thought the salt room wouldn’t do much but it was one of the best things I’ve experienced. The massage was great as well but most of all Taylor at the front went above and beyond to make our experience 12/10. She was so sweet and attentive the entire time and is genuinely an amazing asset to this spa. She really turned our experience from a good spa outing into one of the best spas we’ve been to. What a lovely spa! My mom heard about Woodhouse from a friend and told my sister and me about it, so we bought her a gift card for her birthday. She was waiting to use it until they opened up the Galleria location, and then because I was coming into town to visit her, we decided to go together to get Swedish massages (body balance). We had the best morning here! Everyone was terrific from the time we walked in throughout the entire experience. The spa itself is beautiful, relaxing, and very welcoming. Our massages were amazing - neither of us have felt that relaxed in a long time! We enjoyed the quiet room and the salt room, and we felt very pampered and taken care of while we were here. They also had “happy birthday” messages up for my mom in various areas, which was very sweet and thoughtful! It was such a nice experience that we’ve already rebooked for the next time I’m in town, as well as my mom rebooking to come back on her own. I definitely recommend Woodhouse Spa!

Absolutely beautiful spa, everyone was extremely nice and professional. Greeted upon arrival, taken back to a beautiful locker room to change into the softest robes ever. The quiet room where you wait for your services was tranquil and super relaxing. My masseuse was Chad, he made sure I was comfortable and provided the BEST hour massage. He listened and executed the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. The next service was the salt room, SO recommend doing it! They provide these amazing smart googles that not only massage but provide heat. They release salt into the room and talk about feeling amazing after. I cannot wait to go back and experience more of their awesome services.

This place is incredible!! I came from out of town and everyone was so welcoming! The staff were out of this world nice, making sure you were comfortable and relaxed. My massage therapist met all of my needs and left me feeling relaxed from my head to my toes. I had an illuminated facial and I left glowing. A bonus was that their tea was delicious!! I wish I could come back to this spot every time for my spa days!

Loved my experience at this location! The staff was great! So friendly and accommodating. I spent the day here with my friends and we all enjoyed it. I like that they ask you if there is anything they can improve on when checking out, and graciously take your comments to heart in order to improve their service. I’ve been to several Woodhouse locations and they all set a standard of how a spa day should be experienced. I can’t wait to go back!

While visiting Houston with my sister, we decided to stop in for a massage. We were greeted by Taylor at the front desk who exceeded our expectations the entire time! She was attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Truly excellent service.

I was looking for a spa where I celebrate my 25th birthday. Taylor told me about the Woodhouse and make sure my booking was all set. I was taken care of as soon as I walked in, from the time that I left.Cecilia performed my massage…10/10! I fell asleep during the service. Simone the esthetician, had my skin very glowy and smooth from the illuminate facial. I will definitely be back for a spa day with my girls soon!

Received gift cards for here and its a fantastic spa. Was treated to a deep tissue massage and my partner got the sports massage. Everything was very clean, organized, and fully stocked. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This is by far my favorite place to go relax and refresh. I have tried many services, but my favorite is the 80 min deep tissue. I feel like a new woman afterwards and that I truly am caring for my body. If you want to feel like a princess, get a facial following a massage ( ✨amazing✨). The robes are super comfy. They have a great relaxation room with soothing music, free refreshments, comfortable seating, and pleasant smells. Good for bringing a books and decompressing before the services and indulging in the relaxation after. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to go.

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience! I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated! My massage therapist was incredible and the front office staff is amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND WITHOUT RESERVATION!

Had the best experience every at this spa. Very relaxing and it was definitely what I needed. The staff was super friendly and made sure my time there was not wasted. My massage was excellent and then I enjoyed the salt room. The Salt room was very rejuvenating!! This was my first time there but I will definitely be going back.

Do not recommend this location. Both of our message therapists were sick and unmasked - visibly coughing and congested. My sister and I are now both sick. The tubs we soaked in did not have water that was warm enough. Seemed like it was prepared far ahead of time. My room was so close to the front I could hear noise pollution from the mall over the playing music.

Omg such a relaxing experience. The massage therapist did a really good job. Only caveat is that parking is a bit of trouble in the galleria. Once in there is calming and relaxing

I had a holiday team outing here with my managers and they were very accommodating! Taylor and Ashley took good care to make sure we were all satisfied and gave us nice parting gifts as well. Great job and I will be back!

I can’t recommend this place enough for a relaxing oasis amongst the bustling cityscape. The wonderful customer service truly keeps me coming back as well as the wonderful spa services they provide. There is a reason why there is hardly any reviews on this place. Avoid at all cost, nothing protecting the customers, they canceled my reservation 15 min before while I’ve already driven 30 minutes already. They think they can just cancel your reservations anytime, how unprofessional this business is where they think they can just cancel when I was really excited all week.

Worse massage ever and the lady had flu and they are on a hurry also they tried to sell us things that we didnt ask for and with the bad service they wanted a big amount tip , a waste of money
