OYO Townhouse Houston Airport North

So for those of you thinking there is a hotel on I10 there isnt. I tried to stay at this hotel but there was a miscommunication I guess because I was led to believe there was. So just a heads up there is only 1 location on I45... I think its a win because all the reviews are saying its a bad hotel....

Roaches!! Everywhere. Crawling on your face at night is one of the most disgusting experiences of my life. Owner doesn’t seem to care. When you leave be sure to thoroughly inspect your luggage. No reason to transport these filthy things elsewhere. Then there are all the guests with ankle bracelets. Criminal tracking. Crime is rampant in that neighborhood. Bullets outside, roaches inside. Charming

No this hotel is 0 stars. I have never seen/been to in my life. We had a 24 hour layover in Houston. And this hotel seemed to be close to the airport and pretty budget friendly. When we walked in this place was completely demolished and in the process of “renovation”. This place is completely inhabitable. I don’t know why it’s even open. We got our room key and went up the cockroach infested building. As we walked into the room we saw it was clearly not ready. There were several pieces of furniture all over the room, drywall everywhere, and cleaning supplies everywhere. We quickly decided to leave and book at the holiday inn near the airport which is definitely much better and safer.

THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!! I dont even know where to begin. I guess Ill start with walking up the stairs cause the elevator doesnt work. The rear door doesnt lock (huge safety issue!), walking up the stairs, I had to step over at least 12 cigarette butts, mixed in with piles of dirt on each stair. Then I was greeted at the top of the stairs by two dirty socks and excess nasty trash in the hallway. When I get to the room, there were blood stains in the carpet, bugs and debris in the shower and sinks, white powder on the blankets. When I pulled back the blanket, the white sheets were yellow! Also, they had cigarette burns on the sheets! I wish I could attach videos or pictures. Trust me, you are not vaccinated from whatever lives in this hotel!!!!!!

Can I start off by saying the hotel property is very clean and maintained and very welcoming I encourage anyone who is looking for a bang for the buck, to stay here.... this is the place to go.The hotel Guest Relations Manager Sabrina did an awesome job she was very timely and communicative, thorough the entire stay...Sabrina even went to the greater extent by, getting us transportation with the friendliest taxi people we have ever met. Currently they are under renovation, however this hotel is definitely on their way to success.Thanks a bunchWere looking forward to staying again, in the near future.

Horrible, they put me on the fourth floor and then said the elevator dont work and its all they had. There was no TV in the room, there is no stove or anything as advertised online. There are busted windows and they will not accommodate you or refund you in any way. I booked online and had never seen anything like this before. I filed a complaint with the state attorney and better business bureau. Do not stay here. You will come out better with a motel 6.

This location was disgusting! Upon entering my room the room was dirty, no sheets or comforter on the bed, the bed had black stains on it. The carpet was dirty, the stair were atrocious covered in tobacco & braiding hair. All of the guest were sketchy!!!! This location was disgusting I was afraid to sleep here, me & my fiancé drove from out of town for an overnight trip, our stay had been booked days in advance. Once we arrived to the hotel the front desk person who was outside smoking drugs rushed in behind the counter to give me a key to a dirty room and once I came back down from seeing the horrible conditions my room was in and the type of people lingering around the hotel she proceeds to tell me there aren’t anymore rooms and that I would have to contact oyo through the app since that was the way I paid. There was nothing she can do and I could not speak with a manager on site. So we were forced to spend more money looking for another room elsewhere on a Saturday night after constantly contacting oyo experience team constantly being hung up on and no refund guaranteed or processed. I will never book with “oyo” again. The locations are more unsafe than ever, as well as the conditions of these rooms and locations are horrendous!!!! I would not advise anyone to book here! Please

We didnt stay, broken furniture, filthy, and didnt feel safe at all. Pictures werent even of this hotel. Apparently they use it for homeless people. It says they sanitize, but there is no way you could sanitize this mess. Stay far away.

Horrible. When we came in they had no rooms available “due to renovations” even though we booked through Priceline. There was a lot of trash outside, and broken windows with curtains hanging out. The pictures looked nothing like real life. They catfished us. We tried to call Priceline to get a refund and the only way we could do that is by Priceline contacting the hotel. The hotel has no landline so therefore it’s impossible to get your money back. The bathroom didn’t work. It was very ghetto and unsafe. It looked and felt like a jail in the inside.

This place is NOT as nice as it looks on the photos. I was absolutely scared to stay here because of the sketch clientele, it smelled of weed, there were actual LIVE roaches everywhere in the room, the floor had white substance that looked like poop, the wall had a weird brown substance on it. They claim there was free breakfast but it was no where to be found, and after seeing the room and the hotel itself I wouldnt recommend eating here. WORST hotel stay I ever had. I left within five hours of checking in. No TV in room, no working elevator, the bathroom was disgusting, SERIOUSLY fork the extra 20-30 to stay at La Quinta.

I which I could give this hotel 0 stars. One I booked through expedia. Upon arrival the hotel elevator was filthy and had looked as if nobody had cleaned if in weeks my boyfriend stated. The hotel room was ok until he woke up to two roaches on the bed. This is a “budget friendly” hotel if you dont mind potentially taking home roaches in your luggage. On top of that he had to rush out to leave for a a meeting and couldnt wait to speak to a manager. When I called the number on the hotel it did not go through even after 3 times. I had to call expedia where they said they cant do anything unless the hotel issues a refund which the hotel Lied and said they wouldnt. I have picture evidence of all of the roaches in the room and how dirty the elevator was.

The hotel was infested with roaches, there were things missing from the room like the fridge, microwave, coffee machine. The elevator was falling apart. The room was not cleaned very well, not sure is the sheets were clean. The water was off in the room when I got there. The phones in the room didnt even work. The first room I stayed in was worse, the curtains had been broken. Not all the lights worked in either room. Would NOT recommend to ANYONE. The pool was just as bad. Totally unsafe for anyone to swim in. Water was green and even had electrical wiring in the pool. The hotel seemed to be getting worked on while housing guests prior to hotel being in liveable condition. They need to NOT be housing guests while fixing the hotel. A/c in the hotel itself was broken it was so hot once you came in all the way to your room. Dont ever stay here.

What a disgusting hotel. We made a reservation and they give us the room full of garbage. The bed was full of flies and bedbugs. The super dirty blankets and then we went to the front desk and they gave us another room. It was the same🤮 An unpleasant smell.

The Oyo Townhouse was a real disappointment. The stinch of mold pushed us backwhen the door open. The odor completely was on and everything..... including the wall and carpet. At least, have clean rooms. Especially the bathroom. The shower curtain was so discussing, along with the shower and tub. It would be safe to say it hasnt been cleaned for more than a year. The toilet lid and sink counter top broke in half.We brought the mold smell back with us in our clothes. I couldnt believe that even my C-pap tubing was moldy smell as well. No housekeeping service was done.Not one person came. Townhouse really???? Someone PLEASE SHUT THIS MOLDAND ROACH INFESTED, thing down.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Soon as we walked in it was hotter than it was outside! The girl at the front desk automatically assumed I wasn’t old enough to check into the hotel myself. Had to convince her of my age, even though she had my literal ID in her hand... Elevator was broken, so had to lug our bags up 4 flights of stairs. ROACHES IN THE BEDS!!! Blood stains in the beds. Roaches crawling around the floor near the beds, also in the bathroom! Everything looked as though it never had been cleaned. Ashes left on the nightstand in a “non smoking” room. Chair was caved in! It smelled horrible. We left ASAP!!!

Where to start!! So we arrived yesterday and we were told the room would be ready in an hour. We waited and when we came back to ask if it was ready we were ignored by the front desk lady for about 10 mins before she looked up from her phone screen (may I mention the manager was sitting in the chair behind her! Finally got my key after she proceeded to roll her eyes at us. And then was ignored when asked what floor the room was on. Had to figure out where to go. Finally got to the hallway where I was greeted by the strong smell of weed and cigarettes. The halls were full of old food mold and cigarettes all over the floor. As we reached the room I was disgusted there was holes in the wall broken fixtures and stains on the floor and blankets. The walls had marks and blood on them. The horror show continued on tho as I walked into the bathroom and the floor was covered in hair the toilet I flushed and the knob was falling off. I waited for my girlfriend to see what were gonna do and tried to turn on the TV and it wouldnt turn on! I called the front desk where she hung up on me 4x before answering when she finally did she just said whatever Ill send someone up took 3 more calls and 4 hours later for it to get fixed. We decided to stay because we were exhausted so after going to dinner we came back to the hotel we were laying in bed and saw roaches crawling all over the walls! Im highly allergic so we had to get medicine. I continued to get bit by bed bugs and we called down to the front desk were we were told that it was our fault for booking the hotel and tat nothing would be done. We asked to talk to the manger who was equally as rude and said well we can switch you rooms after checkout we will give you a call which we never got!!! When we finally came down stairs to check out of this hell hole the front desk woman got very loud and disrespectful and saying that she doesnt give a f*** and that we wouldnt get our money back, mind you this is the same one who was getting the attitude the day before. We left feeling disgusted I would not recommend this place to anyone I will definitely be calling the health department first thing in the morning!!! I am HIGHLY UPSET 😔

AS A MEXICAN, THIS IS A HORROR STORY THAT IM TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS. The moment I arrived, I didnt even ask for the room. The lobby was so dirty, smelling weed, and there was people drinking with a toddler crying AT 11 PM (they were leaving him alone somethimes). Dead insects all over the place. Funiture full of stains (even blood stains), elevator broken. I inmediatle called a friend who lived on the city to pick me up. I felt so unsafe, that I feel he saved my life.DONT STAY HERE.

Had book the trip through Expedia and was not able to get a refund on this stay. So we had paid for the 4 nights even if we did not stay there. Had called the Hotel and no one picked up. Due to bad ratings we ended up with a AirBnB instead. Lesson learned: Make sure to do your research before booking.

The room stinks of cigarettes and mold. I have asked for a different room, however the desk agent said none were available. I pulled up the sheets and they are nasty full of blood or body fluids stains. This is DISGUSTING. Roaches everywhere, I definitely want my money back and would not recommend this place to anyone

The hotel is trash, roaches and dead body stench was unbearably uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.im usually not a complaining person but this OYO is awful. It should be shut down, health code violations etc July 16th 2021 no working elevator im disabled they gave my sons money back within 48 hours Ive been fighting with them black pool bed bugs and roaches all over lobby I have photos and videos I will contact attorney and B.B.B.these people have scammed others hotel.com not use this company for your booking they are misleading customers with fake pictures

I have been to many places of lodging in my lifetime. This place is by far the dirtiest I have ever been to. It is roach-infested, in the bathroom, in the bed, behind the mirrors, under the bed hasnt been clean in years very dirty. Not fit for humans to live. I am calling the board of health about this place. Zero Star

I wish we could give 0 stars. Dont waste ya time. Normally hotels feel like home but this one didnt at all. The hotel staff is VERY RUDE. The hotel have roaches & the hallway STINK (I never thought I would worry about this), the elevator is OUT, the TV wasnt on the wall when I arrived I told the manager he NEVER went fix it.

I definitely don’t want to give this place 1 star . I wanted a refund because when I walked into my non-smoking room it smelled of smoke ! Not Only that roches were EVERYWHERE when I say EVERYWHERE that’s what I mean . So Im like dang what can I do just until 9 am when the manager arrives … I try and get some sleep BOOM something was biting my ankles I bet ya know what it was a Dang BED BUG ! I’m up right now writing this review I’m upset and I deserve a FULL REFUND ! The rooms are not as described at all. The restroom was not even cleaned nor swept ! Coffee pot don’t even have a pot ! Microwave FULL HOUSING EVERY ROACH IN THE BUILDING! The only nice thing they have is The TV and Big Mirrors.

Worse hotel ever! Caught the guy at the front in the parking lot getting drunk before his shift. Our first room had roaches and the guy at the front acted like it was such an inconvenience that I asked for a new room. Got the new room but it smelled like mildew and the carpet was wet. Can’t wait to check out in the morning. Don’t waste your time!!!!

I would give 0 stars if possible. The room had no television, blood on the sheets, dirty toilet paper, and roaches crawling on the walls and floor. We also found cigarette butts and roaches under the mattress. The worker was hanging out with friends in the parking lot and people were loitering everywhere. We left immediately. This was the most disturbing hotel experience ever!

GROSSSSSS!!!! 🤢 the room smelled bad 👃 , roaches 🪳 every where, no Refrigerator in the room, everything (literally) everything was broken 😡 they put me In one room the tv 📺 had a crack in it and didn’t work, put me in another room the tv 📺 came on and off not working 🤦‍♀️ hair dryer broken 😠 got another one from the front desk 🤦‍♀️ broken 😠 , sink broken not turning on 😠 , something bit me soon as I walked in😡 I have never seen anything like it. Bought a night for me and my daughter before our flight leaves in the morning off Priceline. No refunds. But the place is so bad We will be waiting at the airport ✈️ Until our flight they can keep the money, this is unhealthy for anyone and anything.

This place not only lacks friendliness, it’s also missing the amenities that it boasts having. Their rooms do not have microwaves nor mini fridges. You must request bath towels and they are thin and stained. This place is also infested with cockroaches. I’ll never stay at the Oyo townhouses again!

This place is not safe at all. There is no workers wearing masks. No hand sanitizer. And it is extremely dirty inside. The bedrooms are even worse. We got into a room that has another whole room to another room that has people in it. There is bugs, EVERYWHERE. The smoke detector is still going off. Mold is everywhere. Toliet won’t flush. Sheets aren’t changed. Broken walls. It’s really bad. Just don’t come here please

Front desk lady has very little customer service skills. My room had no tv. Was put on 4th floor but wasnt told elevator doesnt go to 4th floor. Wasnt expecting fancy or anything but at least wanted what was advertised

Rooms dont even look like the pictures. Hotels smells, room was infested with roaches ,stains on the sheets, dirty restroom with dead bugs. Paid for 2 nights but only stayed one after i saw the roaches. 🤮

I paid ahead on the website, when I got there I was told that all rooms were booked and I was unable to get my money back from them that I had to go through my bank. when I asked why it let me pay if there wasn’t any more rooms Available I was told that the systems were down and the phone did not work. 0/10 don’t recommend.

Please do not stay at this location it was horrible I wouldn’t even let my dog stay here! I walked in the room and immediately demanded a refund? It’s very unsafe feeling there! I requested a refund and unfortunately they only gave me half and I didn’t even spend 30 minutes there! And booking site should not recommend for people to stay here! Horrible! Horrible!

Roches and bugs on the bed and carpet. Graffiti in the room. Urine smell and trash. Not clean let alone sanitization. This is a disease trap. Get the picture?

Do Not! I repeat do not do business here you will surely regret it. I made a mistake and chose the wrong location. I ended up cancelling because it was that bad (Greenspoint area). I ended up STILL doing business after losing money for 1 night tariff, and decided to go to another location (I45 north), and its worse. Both are HIGH CRIME AREAS.

I sayed on May 25th while having a 20 hour layover in Houston this place was close and cheap so gave it a go I have stayed at other cheap places before and had no issues but this place is a very filthy dump even for a cheap motel noticeably dirty as soon as you walk in stained furniture and carpet people drinking in the lobby and parking lot but still decided to stay because it was late at night only ended up staying long enough to take a shower and leave hot water didnt work the bed sheets had burns in them so left and spent $20 more bucks for a clean room down the road at the Motel 6

The previous guests can use their old room key which happen to me this morning! With a room key broke in took car keys a bag of clothes and stole my car!!

Stayed here for a week. AMAZING service. Front desk and housekeeping are really friendly. Little to no roaches at this point. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Do not stay here!! Its a drug house!!! There was blood in the mattress and walls, red socks in the bathroom, the sheets were used and not changed. The place is disgusting!

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Oyo Townhouse. Not only was I booked at the wrong address prior to my arrival but I received no help from cooperate when i called at the front desk of 12439 North FW Houston, TX and requested to have my booking from the wrong address changed to 12439 North FW Houston, TX. Instead I was placed on hold for over 30mins and all was received through email was a Case ID and nothing else. I requested a refund due to being booked at the wrong address and that was denied so my experience with Oyo Townhouse is extremly bitter and disappointed.

They offer services like a TV while booking the room but, when I checked into my room there was no TV present, I requested to be put in a room with a TV and I was told I had to pay a additional $50 deposit to be put in a room with a TV. Unbelievable!!!

Hello never stay at this place they put us out and vandalize all of our clothes they have rats and roaches and bed bugs away the owner never pays they have crackheads come in and out unlivable the beds and headboards are wiped the people there are very rude..

Its dirty, oh cockroaches, the bathroom didnt work, there were no trash cans, the TV was broken and it didnt pull anything, it doesnt pull the microphone, it doesnt even pull the ice machine :( I think they were better before

I do not recommend it. Giving this hotel 1 star is a lot. My family and I will never spend a night in that hotel again.👎🏼 They smell very bad. I have my baby and I wont expose him to a place like this anymore.

Not recommended, it is very dirty, neglected, many cockroaches, it smells quite bad, it is very economical but I would love to stay again
