Memorial Heights Reflexology & Massage

A good place to get a nice massage!This place was recommended by a friend. It is located in northwest Houston area. It is on the east side of Studemont Street in a set of stores in the Shoppes at Memorial Heights Shopping Mall. Our group called and made an appointment ahead of our visit. I recommend making reservations for everyone who wants to visit as this place seems popular and was busy when we arrived. They have a very nice foyer with a couch and table to the right and a counter to the left. Everyone in our group chose to get a 30-minute back massage and a 30-minute foot massage. The establishment has 4 couches as you enter the massage area and various rooms with individual tables. I did the back massage first where you take off your shirt and they have you lie facedown. The massage was very strong and very good. Once that was done, the shirt went back on and I moved to one of the lower massage tables as we first entered. You lie down face up and they put a small towel over your eyes and a blanket over your chest. Your feet are put in hot water where they soak for several minutes. Then they give a very good foot massage with lotion. When they finish, they use a warm towel to wipe off the extra lotion and dry your legs and feet. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the massage and the area. I recommend this to anyone wanting a good massage in the area. Enjoy.

Amazing massage!I lived in Beijing for two years and got massages there often. Memorial’s massage was quite similar to ones I had while living abroad. I love a good deep massage and I was pleased with my experience.The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly!

This was the first time going there and IT WAS GREAT!! My back was bothering me all day, I even left work early. Nancy took really good care of me! Her pressure was just right. She was very thorough. I left their feeling like JELLO! I’m going to sleep great tonight!! I will definitely be going back!

I would give zero stars if I could. I called an hour before our appointment to ensure that my friend and I would have private rooms reserved. The receptionist confirmed the reservation and I specifically requested a female masseuse for my friend. However, upon arrival, I was directed to a shared area with other clients, despite our prior arrangement. I understand that availability may have been limited, but the confirmation at the time of booking was misleading.While my friend was already receiving her massage in a private room, I canceled my appointment and waited in the lobby. When she finished, she looked distraught. It turned out that her female masseuse had been switched to a male mid-session. My friend has past trauma and was just beginning to feel comfortable, so this sudden change caused her significant distress. She cried all the way home, and I felt utterly disappointed by the whole experience.The front desk attendant, Lucy, repeatedly cited a rough business environment as an excuse – but how does that justify false promises? Not only did she waste our time, but she also failed to provide the relaxing experience we were seeking. The establishment reeked of Chinese food and was uncomfortably warm, adding to the unprofessional atmosphere. I will never recommend this place. I regret not sticking with my usual spot, Midtown Reflexology, where the staff are consistently professional and kind.Never again…

The receptionist was friendly. The masseuse Kevin was very attentive to my needs. I requested a 80 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. AMAZING!!! Kevin did a phenomenal job. Not many masseuse can give me firm pressure like I like, but Kevin did a great job. I really liked that I was able to walk in and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely will be back and will tell others.

Id leave zero stars if I could. I do not know how this place has 4 stars. My experience was the worst Ive ever had. First never signed any consent forms or forms on the style of massage. I should have left the second I noticed that. Got a 30 minute foot massage and it was impossible to relax due to everyone in the front room being insanely loud. Then I went to get a 60 minute body massage. Biggest mistake ever. I was so insanely uncomfortable. The woman giving me my massage was so rough and hard. I would say lighter light and should would just start applying even more pressure. Thats not even the worst part. This woman kept pulling my underwear down and massaging my butt. It was extremely inappropriate. It was so uncomfortable I didnt know what to do. I kept thinking what kind of damn massage place is this? Then she proceeded to walk up and down on my back with all her weight pressing down on me. It was so painful. The whole situation was so miserable painful and extremely uncomfortable. On top of everything the next day my whole body is sore and my back is bruised. I would never let someone from here touch me again. I paid and left and never will I come back again. I dont know how this is normal. But I felt like I really needed to share my experience

I go here often but today it was so good I needed to leave a review! Joe is amazing! gentle yet strong & enough pressure to work out my knots! I am a weekend club bartender & gym five days a week. Much needed shoulder back work & he made me feel extremely comfortable! Everyone is great but Joe is the best :)

Massage was great, but lack of transparency with the cost. I scheduled a 60 minutes massage for $60, but my CC was charged $65. I dont mind paying $65, but I will need to know that upfront.

Had the best massage experience today with Nancy. She had firm hands and did wonders addressing the tightness in my shoulders and hip. Truly one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. Left feeling 5 years younger!!

I’ve tried 3-4 different therapists here and each has a unique style. As much I like the massages, I did notice that, I have itching and rashes once I wear my clothes back from the clothes hangers. I’m not sure if it’s the oil or spiders or dust mites. People with sensitive skin must bring a bag to secure their clothes from the mites/spiders, and use coconut oil for 5 additional $

Omg...best massage ever. The atmosphere, the staff, the way I was relaxed from inception to completion was all 5 star. I pass this place often and had never stopped in. I wish I had come sooner. This place rocks.

This is the spot in Houston. 10 minutes from downtown. Great prices. Great talent. I got the foot massage body massage combo. It was like $85 for an hour and a half. 10 minute scalp massage included. Unbeatable.

I showed up without an appointment for a foot massage. Nobody was at the counter, but I was able to get a massage in about ten minutes wait. The room is communal, clean, and dark. For 40.00 I received a head, scalp, neck, legs, hands, feet, and back massage with hot stones. It was a massage with clothing left on. The therapist was great and smiled a lot. Very appreciative of cash tips. I will be back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised coming here. I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to relax and kill sometime. I did the 90-minute foot massage and am happy I did. Place was nice and the massage people were great.

I’ve tried this location several times and my time is always cut short. I start a watch the moment I make it to the back room but every time it’s always 7-10 mins short. Once I say something then the masseuse continues. Also, if I pay for an hour feet or an hour back.. I do not want any other body part. I say it every time and the masseuse does whatever they want very lazily at that.

I have had only excellent experiences the probably 6 - 8 times I have been here. Today I had the 30 minute foot reflexology followed by the 30 minute massage in a private room, Nancy was the massage therapist. Both experiences were superb. Especially the massage, as it didnt take her very long to find the knots in my shoulders and spend 30 minutes trying to work them out, using the total back approach - not just 30 minutes massaging my shoulders. I will be back here within a couple of weeks! Especially as their prices make this self-care modality very affordable!

I think this will be my last time. I used to love coming, but I feel the quality is going down. Massage feels rushed and when I ask for add ons they always forget to do it (ie. coconut oil, hot stone). Also, adding additional fee to capture credit card versus cash price. Just set a price across the board.

The owner needs to stop barging into private rooms while massages are taking place. It’s rude and unprofessional.

They used to be good. Not so much anymore. I find I’m just paying for someone to rub on my feet or back with no idea what they are doing.

Staff kept leaving front door open and talking loud during massage. The blanket used to cover body was rough and not washed. Definitely needs improvement on sanitation and customer service. Massage itself was bad, I wanted it to end already. I wouldnt be returning.

Best kept secret in Houston 😌 love the later evening hours helps me decompress after a busy day of traffic/work.

Edit: Have noticed it being noticeably quieter last couple times here. Updated to 5 stars.Great massages and fair price. Only thing I wish is that it was quieter. The employees talk quite a bit at full volume, or you can hear people at the front when getting your foot massage. Itd be nice if they did more whispering here. But still, geat massage.

Let me start this by saying I have been a LMT for 36 years my standards are a little higher than most. 1. When I walked up there was a female employee outside smoking gross. 2. The girl who was at the front desk had a piercing through her septum in her nose and another in her nostril. Im okay with piercings others might not be.3. The massage beds were okay however not very comfortable. 4. My therapist was wearing a 😷 omg enough already with the 😷 they dont work. 5. I asked to have my arms, chest and neck worked on and then feet. The therapist worked in my upper body for only about 20/25 mins. 6. She did NOT massage my bis or tris or forearms for long or with enough pressure. 7. Did okay on my neck and did a little stretching on my pecs. 8. Didnt really do any reflexology or trigger point on my feet, more just running and with soft pressure. Thanks my review, I wont go back to this place.

Was a regular at this place, but after a few instances of Lucy, the owner/manager, double booking me it became blatant that she is dishonest and will tell you what you want to hear just to get you in to take your money. Massage is OK but a little rough and depends on who you get how good they are at actually keep you covered with the sheet.

I received the 60 minute foot massage and was pleased to discover this also includes a bit of face, neck, and body massage as well as a bit of stretching afterwards. The atmosphere was a bit strange in the open area but I quickly forgot about that once I started receiving my treatment. They made sure the pressure right for me and overall did a great job. The price is fantastic for the service (make sure to tip well!) I will be going back and I do recommend.

The owner is overly aggressive in demanding tips, even though parts of your massage were painful. She appears to pay the workers only in tips and requires you to fit the bill. Oh well- it was my last time going...

Even during busy hours, they always have space for anyone.The location and setup is very calm and relaxing.Smells very good inside and the lights are not too bright.Their masseuses are INCREDIBLE. Everyone knows what theyre doing. Ive had Jenny, Kevin, Leo, Anna, Nina , and Nancy. ALL PERFECT. They know how to hit the spot and leave you feeling freshly revived again.Also they have little add ons like hot stones and oil, even aromatherapy.TRY the hot stones on your feet, BEST DECISION EVER MADE!TRY the lemongrass aromatherapy! Smells soooo good and soooo relaxing with a massage. The best combo.

Tried a different location as Ive been to one of the other spots. The place was well lit inside, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. My massage ladys technique was good, its just that I need a strong deep tissue massage for my upper body, and she gave it everything she had, but did not have the strength to really deeply penetrate my intensely tight neck and upper back muscles. I did tell her to go gentle on my lower back, which was done well.Perhaps I will request ahead of time a massage therapist, man, or woman who has the hand and wrist strength to accommodate.If a light massage without the deep tissue is what youre looking for, two thumbs up.

Returned today for 30/30 foot and back massage. My massage therapist was confident, considerate, and highly skilled compared to some of the chain massage businesses. This is a cost effective, no frills place of business. It is clean, quiet, and the customer service is on point. I want a top notch massage at a competitive price. Thats what I got today!

Wife and I just had the 30/30 for a birthday/anniversary date. This place was amazing. Weve had lots of reflex and massage over the years, and Id rate this the best Ive had. I didnt get the specific workers names, but they were great.

If you like pain, go here. They find every knot in your body.They have have a room for a couple as well. That particular room had two handle bars at the ceiling, I’m assuming that’s for them to get on top of you for a massage with a foot!The only reason for 4 is bc place feels not too clean due to old carpet. They really should replace them with vinyl/laminate at least.

The customer service was great and the actual service was top-notch! I received a 90-minute massage from Marley and couldn’t ask for better. She provided what I could honestly say was the best hard-style Swedish I ever received. Any tension I had was alleviated and I felt great afterward. I’ve been to a lot of reflexology massage places and this one by far has been the best. i was able to get a deep tissue massage with out being in in so much pain during but still getting the benefits of feeling amazing afterwards. usually i end up having back spasms after a table top massage and only go for chair massages but this one actually left me feeling refreshed, reducing my neck and back pain, and no back spasm afterwards. truly amazing. thank you so much.

I’m 56yrs old and work in dentistry and couldn’t do my job well without the help of the amazing people at Memorial Hights Reflexology. The price is so reasonable I go every week since I found them 2 months ago. It’s hard to recommend just one person as I’ve been pleased with every person there. Very satisfied customer.

The people here feel genuinely caring and kind, the massage was amazing. It was my first time getting a massage after a very long time, and it was hands down one of the best massages I have ever received. The massage was extremely peaceful, and Adam is extremely respectful, caring, and attentive. I am definitely coming back and have already recommended this place to my friends. If you need a good massage come here! My friend got a massage at the same time said these people know what theyre doing afterwards. I got the massage last night, and even noticed this morning how relaxed and blissful I slept and have been feeling since.

This is one of the best massages Ive gotten in a long time! I got the deep tissue with hot stone and Tony did an AMAZING job! The pressure was on point! If you like a true deep tissue where you walk out sore (possibly for days), this is it! Definitely my new go to spot!

I loved this place! Its not high faluting fancy in unnecessary ways. Just cozy, quiet, and great massages. Not only was the massage fantastic but its at a price point I can tip heavier at. It seemed like most of the clients were nurses and techs (lots of scrubs and tennis shoes). These people work wonders for those on their feet all day. If thats you and you need some relief this place is well worth a visit.

Apparently there has been a change in ownership. I have frequented this place twice a month for a few years. The lobby area is now cluttered with unnecessary items that should be stored elsewhere. The coffee table was not cleaned and the little tea cups were dirty as well. We got the 1hr full body and 30 foot massage. The full body now consist of the back and a hint of each leg. The 30 foot massage felt like the a low budget pedicure. I hated it but mainly hated the fact that we spent $200 to walkout feeling just as tight as we did walking in. Total waste of money. Never going back. 👎🏽👎🏽two thumbs down.😔

I am so upset with the lady who called me to tell me I messed up her day. I accidentally scheduled at the wrong location. I apologize for my mistake and the lady kept arguing with me how I lose customers because my mistake. She was yelling and I explained to her I made a mistake and I’m sorry but after her telling me I messed her day and she lost money cuz of me. It was my 1st time calling the place and I was so excited to go. If they talk to the people like this on the phone. Makes me think about how they treat you there in person! I will not definitely not be going here!

Best bang for your buck massage in Houston! I go all the time by myself or with my partner and it’s always 5-star and it’s a great value. Also a great place to go last minute - just call before you go. Highly recommend!!!

Do not recommend, waited over 30 min for my massage to begin, despite being informed that they had immediate availability, and was not given an update about when I would be seen until I called from the private massage room. Left without receiving a service.

We stopped by today and disliked our service. All the workers are sick and coughing while giving a massage. We told the receptionist about our experience and she gave us a rude response. They lost us as a customer and our friends and family.

I would have given 5 stars if the foot buckets they use to wash your feet can be bigger as the feet get really cramped in there. Also for the first part of the massage there was a guy running a vacuum cleaner... Not sure what to make of it. The person giving the foot massage was excellent, definitely I will return again.

I use to drive to Chinatown to get a great massage. But since I’ve found Memorial Heights Reflexology, I can stay local! Appts are always available, it’s clean and the front desk girl is nice and accommodating to my requests.

The deep tissue massage was phenomenal. I came in tense and burdened, and by the time I left, was feeling light and relaxed. Returning to help my back/neck pain with additional care for state of mind!

I was referred to Adam a few months ago for massages.. Ive seen him I believe 6 times now. He is great. He knows how to find the areas you need help with without you telling him!!!!!He will ask you if the pressure is to intense.The place is clean, quaint and the price is great. They offer you bottled water after your experience.Give Adam a chance. You will not be disappointed. See you tomorrow Adam!

Me and my husband have been coming here for over a year and are always happy with our massages! Every massage therapist does a fantastic job!

The receptionist ask me to review and I was more than happy too. This was my first time stopping by, the service and massage was great. It was my first time having a male therapist(David), he was courteous and welcoming. I stopped by bcause I wanted a cheaper full body massage, it was totally worth it. I shall return soon.

I had a 30/30 foot and back combo and I wish I had booked for more time. Super easy and effective online scheduling and very nice and professional staff. Adam was fantastic- very respectful, professional and really made sure to find my points of pain and effectively address them. I prefer deep tissue/deep pressure massage and it was great! Highly highly recommend.

Before I started my massage I double checked with the receptionist if they still walked on clients back and she said yes. Unfortunately the masseuse did not walk on my back, but overall the masseuse did do a great job. I think Im going to have to specify next time that the massuse walks on my back.

This place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Im the type that likes for someone to put their full weight into their elbow in my backbones and I found what I was looking for. He did keep asking if I was ok, so if you dont like that, you can always tell him to be more gentle.For the price, you really cant beat it.

Very upset. I simply wanted the 60min foot reflexology and got “up sold” a service I did not want. The woman at the desk was very pushy and acted as if she did not understand what I wanted. This was a Thursday evening around 7:30pm, I mention the time because during the day it very easy to ask for what you want and get it but at night the place is a little shady in their practices.

We did a couples room massage and both women were excellent. We will definitely be back!

I did body massage , after one day I still have pain in my shoulder and back , who massage my body ,didn’t ask me am I feeling good .but my daughters go for foot massage they liked it , but who did my body massage she needs more training how much pressure she giving thats good for the client or not , she not introduced herself nor asking me did I liked it .

Stopped going to my chiropractor for my back pain. Massage therapists are very skilled at what they do and go above and beyond with each experience. I always feel completely satisfied and relaxed when my massage is complete . Only thing I need after is a nap. Adam is amazing but I had few others when Adam wasn’t there and they all are amazing.

I love this place, and parking is not an issue

Ok the only thing is that my PT missed a few places and didnt seem like he was really wanting to find the correct points to relax me. It felt rushed and like i was his billionth client. I would go back just not this location. The hot stone was very relaxing though.

This was such a great massage. The communal room is a little unsettling at first but the specialists are so talented that the reflexology session puts your mind at ease. Go see Johana!!

PLEASE READ!!! HORRIBLE experience here!! I walked in to ask if they accepted the groupon I found for them. I didn’t care either way, I just wanted to know. They had me sit down until this VERY rude woman comes out and takes my phone from my hand to look at the Groupon. She walks away with my phone, tosses it on the counter and proceeds to make a phone call. Keep in mind, I wasn’t fussing or requesting that they accept it... I was just checking before I bought it. It was only 10$ off!! Anyways, I go the restroom and when I come back, there are two workers standing around the counter on the phone. They call me to the desk and she puts the phone on speaker in front of me and says it’s her boss who wants to speak to me. (I definitely did not ask to speak to a manager) They are all speaking in another language so I’m confused as to why she is putting the phone in my face. They are both staring at mess one of the worker’s say to me “Speak!” SPEAK? Am I a dog? They weren’t even speaking English. Their boss finally speaks English and says they don’t accept the groupon after 2pm, then goes back to another language. I say “Oh no problem, that’s totally fine!!” and I walked out with a smile. Please don’t support a business that treats people this way. I left extremely uncomfortably. I’ll make sure anyone and everyone knows, not to come here.

Was a decent massage, facility was a little dirty, the massage bed they had me lay on had someone else’s hair on it so a caution to them to increase their sanitary practice

I love this place, I always get a warm welcome and the massage therapists always do a great job.

Worst customer service ever. I called and scheduled a 1:00 appointment, but when I arrived they had given my appointment to another customer who walked in just before me without an appointment. I explained that I had a newborn at home and had very little time (which is why I scheduled the appointment) and he simply said that he was too busy and that Id have to wait. I walked out and will never walk back in.

I’ve been here 2 separate times because my ankle was very tight in pain. Jason was wonderful with strong pressure and reflexology on my feet was perfect for this. I walked out feeling relief i needed.

I am visiting from NYC. I called to make an appointment and hopped in a Lyft. When I get there, the young woman tells me the slot is no longer available. She never explained what happened in the 20 minute turnaround that made my appointment void. Very unprofessional and a huge inconvenience after traveling a distance to get there.
