What kind of med spa plays Christian music? While waiting for our appt and filling out excessive paperwork, we were so turned off by the non inclusive Jesus music forced down our ear holes, we cancelled and left. It feels like a very inappropriate environment to push a religion.

My mom was interested in rejuvenating her face so she got RHA filler in her cheeks, nasolabial folds, jawline & lip all done by Taylor. The whole experience was comfortable from beginning to end. Taylor is so sweet and truly cares about her patients. She is thorough and listened to my mom’s concerns and problem areas. She paid special attention to symmetry and fullness to ensure everything was even and right where it’s supposed to be. Her attention to detail is exactly what you want when it comes to facial injections. My mom was beyond excited to have this done and Taylor made my mom feel beautiful again. I have been going to skin essentials the last couple of years for a haircut and its been great, the staff is very welcoming, the place is very clean, and also smells great. Christina has been cutting my hair and she does awesome work (south side fade taper haircuts). The experience is always comfortable and relaxing especially the shampoo process. I have had fillers before between here and California and this was the Most Professional and Knowledgeable Nurse i have ever worked with. Her work is amazing. I decided to use her for Botox as well and i recieved the same wonderful result 💖 from a 1-10 she is a 12!Since i was coming in i decided to try a massage with Steve. I was so happy with his work. I booked my first appointment with Skin Essentials and received a facial with Sherry. She did such a good job! I was VERY relaxed and my skin had such a pretty glow afterwards. I also liked that she didnt try and push any products on me. I will be back for sure.

I was referred to Esther by a couple friends and booked an appointment for highlights and a cut. She is amazing! My blonde is gorgeous and bright with no yellow tones and unlike a lot of other salons she was super fast but not in a rushed way! Normally a partial and cut takes other places up to 3 hours with the amount of hair I have and she got it done in less than 2 hours ☺️

Just got lip filler and botox with Taylor M. and she was lovely, so knowledgeable and an overall calming experience for someone who is scared of needles! They numb you before your filler with lidocaine so you don’t feel much at all but a slight pinch. I am so excited to to see how everything looks after my 2 week healing period is up!

Absolutely terrible experience took my wife to get her lips done Initially it went ok . Then went for a follow up a few months later since I had 20 percent left of her lip filler when we arrived for our appointment we were told that they don’t hold it for more than a month because it grows bacteria, but that I can buy another for 600 dollars would of been nice to know if I did I would of been there within the month. Voiced my concern with them and they just didn’t care. Worst customer experience.

Being an adult with stubborn acne and dry skin, I decided to try a facial! My very first facial was life-changing...I can’t wait to go back. My service provider, Kendra, has over 19 years in the medical/plastic surgery field. She conducted a thorough consultation with me beforehand, explaining every detail based on my concerns. We added a dermaplane treatment to my facial which was perfect. The experience was long and relaxing at such reasonable pricing (even for a poor college student like myself). Since it was my first time, I also purchased a couple products that were highly recommended for my acne and dry skin concerns. I’m so happy and am excited to visit Kendra again next month!

I started going to Esther for my hair last year. I had a run of bad luck with stylists and after a horrendous hack job my friend recommended Esther. I’m so glad she did! She always does a great job. I got my first color from her today and I’m so happy with it. Wish I would have found her years ago!I haven’t used any other services here but I plan on trying out some fillers soon. Hoping for great results so I can leave another 5 star review.

This place is awesome! From the time I schedule my appointment to the time I check out they take great care of me and make sure I have a relaxing spa day. They have a team full of talented people but I always request Cheri. She is a very talented Aesthetician. Cheri listens to my needs and goes above and beyond to provide great treatments. She takes pride in her work and it shows in the results! She welcomes feedback too. My appointments have always started on time and I have never felt rushed. They are even open Saturdays. I miss the Vichy shower that they removed last year but this is the only spa for me.

Love this place! Marissa is a hair extension pro! I totally LOVE how fast she is and how she is able to color, blend and cut my hair and the extensions. She always knows just what I want. Hi lites, lo lites, all lites or no lites! She can make it happen. I’m never bored with my hair. I have never left her chair disappointed!

I was sent to this place from a good friend. In fact she has referred a lot of people. I did the blood work for my hormone therapy, and my husband purchased me a $450 I was supposed to have my results in 48 hours. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I decided to call. I called I called I called. No answer. So i took time out of my day to go to the Spa in person. The owner avoided meeting with me stating “she was busy” They put me in a room to wait and wait. I left after 30 min.The owner then called me jumping right in with accusations of My behavior in her business and that i was not welcomed back BEFORE even listening to my issue. She then continued to talk over me with excuses of why I hadn’t received my bloodwork back. She listed very personal problems including that her ex husband almost died last week. I simply told her to please refund me for everything and she would never see me again.I ended the call with a little advice BUSINESS OWNER TO BUSINESS OWNER….. You never ever treat clients in this manner. It’s was completely unprofessional and rude. I’m surprised she still has a business.I know at least 6 loyal clients that will be terminating their memberships at Skin Essentials due to the strange behavior happening around the Spa.Very saddened by this experience and will happily go elsewhere.

I had my hair done here for my wedding. The service was great. The stylist gave me exactly what I requested and was able to work with my thin hair to create a very fully look. The environment was also great. I had a cup of coffee and was very relaxed. Marissa was my stylist.

Not even worth the 1 star.I just had an overall bad experience from the time I tried booking, to the minute I left my appointment, very disappointed.I initially tried to book an appointment through their online booking service. The service I wanted was not an available option to choose. So I find something else Im interested in and it says there are no available Saturday appointments for the next several months(because I quit looking)So I call and the receptionist suggests I have a consultation first. I agree and book the consultation.I was sent 2 different emails, one reminding me of my appointment, the other asking me to confirm. I did. I then get a text asking me to confirm so they know whether to cancel my appointment or not. I kindly reply that I will be there even though I know I already confirmed.The day arrives and I show up to my consultation a few minutes early, my esthetician is running a few minutes behind....no biggie.They then introduce themselves and say to follow them back. But then when we get to the back, they dont know where to take me.We walk through the halls until we find a place to sit.They were not prepared.Not once did they ask to examine my skin, just asked me to take off my mask..I relayed my issues and was only suggested one package option. They directed me back to the front where I waited for them to find the current price on the package which came out to over $1200.They gave me their card and I was sent on my way.No other treatments were suggested or offered. I felt rushed. And I felt like they were more concerned with making the $1200 sale vs trying to help me find a solution. Wont be going back.

The massage was pretty good even though I feel like he went too low in some areas. The low rating is because my mom bought me a massage therefore she paid for it. It was paid for before I booked the appointment and went to the appointment. However, after my appointment they embarrassed me and tried to say it was not paid for, they could not find the gift certificate, and all this other bs. Finally the manager came out and she figured it out. I was going to leave if they found it or not because I would not have booked the appointment if it was not paid for and I even made sure the girl knew it was when I booked my appointment. Get your stuff together!!!

Kendra is amazing along with all the other ladies!! I have been going to Skin Essentials for years. I recently started using their coolsculpting and Kendra really listens to what your goals are. She has your best interests at heart. She is truly amazing in this area at providing you with your perfect result.

Marissa does my hair and she is amazing! When you admire someone else’s hair from a distance and then later you discover that you both have the same hair stylist, you definitely realize you have hit the jackpot. That’s my story with Marissa. She will listen to what you like and don’t like, give you what you want, and tweak anything that needs tweaking. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my cut or color. I have thick, dark dark brown hair, and she puts in the time to make me a beautiful blonde. I am so blessed to have found her!

I went in a few weeks ago for my first appointment with Kelly at Skin Essentials after reading their reviews and seeing their before and afters. She was really friendly and professional. Ive been doing crossfit and alot of intense exercises but Ive continued to have stubborn areas that I have not been able to get rid of, no matter how much diet and exercise i do. We decided to focus on my lower stomach and sides as they would see the best results.Kelly showed me other patients with similar body types and their results.Day of treatmentI went in on a really busy day at work, so busy I was actually wondering if I was going to make it. I went there wearing some workout clothes and was expecting to be there for 3.5 hours or so. Kelly told me I would be able to work while the treatment was going on. They took notes on measurements and she was so professional I wasnt uncomfortable at all. We started and I had my own room and bed for the treatments. The team totally set me up to have a perfect makeshift office. They also put one of my favorite movies in the background. I took several meetings while getting the treatments and also catching my favorite movies.The treatment itself in terms of pain was manageable.  The only time it kinda hurts is when they remove the machine but then they massage it and it stops hurting. After a few hours of treatment I was done and on my way! Almost didnt want to leave because I had such a great setup. I had some soreness later that evening but some ibuprofen took care of it.Day 2: I felt swollen and had slight numbness around my waistline. This didnt create any problems though. I still worked out and did a cardio class.Day 3-6: The swelling had gone down but my waistline was still slightly numb. I was able to enjoy my regular workout routine throughout these days.Day 10+ I feel totally normal. Im looking forward to going back and taking some after photos!

I have been using Skin Essentials Med Spa for a year now for various services. Every time I have used them the experience was very wonderful. Their staff is attentive and very qualified. Their pricing is fair and reasonable and I will continue to use them. I use to attend another spa down the road that I will remain nameless and this is such a much better place with more services and better availability.

The staff is amazing, the place is super nice I would definitely go back for other services. But! Not for a haircut with Salvador, he seemed too much in a hurry. My hair was still wet, and to make things worse my haircut is so uneven! Im very picky of who I let cut my hair and I chose him. Only because I was in the area, next time Ill pay a little more and stick with Vincents in Montrose.

DO NOT recommend CoolsculptingThey may be good in other services but the cool sculpting is a rip off.. I paid over $1000 for a treatment on my chin and not only did I not lose any fat .. I gained much more than I started with! The fact that I weigh 15 lbs lighter than I did when I did the procedure...its all to blame. Thank God I didnt sign up for more sessions and waste even more money! Still make me upset to this day.

Microblading - Elizabeth did my eyebrow microblading. Im 2 weeks into it and absolutely LOVE it. I felt absolutely nothing through the entire procedure which took approximately 30 minutes. The difference is unbelievable. I was tired of dying my eyebrows every 30 days. I am one who plucked them so thin in the 80s and they really never grew back in full. POOF - I have thick beautiful eyebrows. Love it and highly recommend it AND Elizabeth.

The first time here and was treated by Kelly Davis with the Emsculpt. She is amazing and knowledgeable, plus she has an amazing team.

The brochure had some Christian saying on it. I was turned off by this since I do not think a business should involve their religious beliefs in advertising. I still went to get my hair cut and found that my hair dresser was brain washed with the same religious beliefs. As soon as I sat down she started to preach the bible. I asked her to stop since I am atheist. She refused and kept trying to sell me on her religion. She became rude and judgmental. I will not be returning to this place.

This was my first time here, and had high expectations because of the other positive reviews, however I left feeling ripped off. Before booking my facial I looked on their website at types of facials and pricing. I decided to try the oxygen facial, the price listed on the site said 250.00. When I checked out at the counter my price was 325.00. I inquired about the difference and was told that the oxygen was just an add on to a regular facial (75.00). The oxygen part of the facial lasted appx 5-7 minutes , and added 250.00 to the price of the facial. She said that the high cost is due to the cost of the products used. I was not impressed by the oxygen at all, it was a little machine that blew low pressure air on my skin with a little bit of misting. I feel they should post the entire price on their website. I will not be going back!

Had my eyebrows done - SoftTap procedure. Went from white eyebrows to dark blonde and LOVE it!Rachel did a fabulous job. I highly recommend.Very nice spa - beautiful space.

I visited to learn more about biote hormone replacement and met with DLana Hitt. She was very helpful and very patient with all my questions and concerns. While visiting with her about the hormone replacement I also talked to her about some cosmetic options. I will be very honest.... Im a big big baby when it comes to pain and the sight of a needle makes me sick. She was so kind and helped me through the process. Thank you, DLana!!!

TERRIBLE Coolsculpting Experience.Let’s start at my consultation, where I felt so comfortable with Elizabeth. She did a great job selling it, explaining, really making me believe she believed in what she was selling me.She went on to exam my abdomen and give me her recommendations: normally purchasing 6 “cycles/units” would be good, but to really achieve my goal she believed I should really go for double that and do 12. So against my husbands better judgment, and because I in visioned me with a much more appealing stomach in 3ish months, I went ahead and took her advise and bought the 12. When I went in for my first round of treatment she mentioned how happy she was that I took her advice and went with the 12, it was going to be so great and exciting.. okay this started in April— fast forward to August when I’m ready for what i thought was my final post treatment appointment - for pictures and to talk about how unsatisfied I was, we take my pictures and she COMPLETELY AGREES!! She says she totally sees where I’m not seeing much of a change and that EVEN SHE would have loved to be seeing way better results closer to that “35%”.. so she suggests that we make an appt with her AND Kelly the owner to discuss my options and says maybe the owner will give you another cycles or two for free or discuss other financial options.. okay cool. Not what I exactly wanted because at this point i want my money back but okay let’s make this appointment with Kelly and go from there.. we’re not talking about hundreds of dollars. We’re talking THOUSANDS. Well here comes September 14th. My appointment with the owner Kelly and Elizabeth..which for starters I messed up and didn’t bring anyone with me, so I felt completely ganged up on, but anyways. After taking my pictures and Kelly putting them side by side I was completely dumbfounded to sit in a room with these 2 professionals who looked me dead in the face and said they see a change. Not just a change. But a $6,000 CHANGE!!!! I was speechless. I made the mistake and sat there and didn’t say a word. I couldn’t stop staring at these 2 pictures side by side and believing these 2 women could possibly be looking at the same thing I was. How in Gods name would anyone agree they’re seeing a change worth S I X ($6,000) THOUSAND DOLLARS! I can’t. I couldn’t say a word. I couldn’t produce a single sound. My appointment with the 2 ladies lasted around 5 minutes, long enough for Kelly to tell me her suggestion which was that I need to do 12 more cycles of coolsculpting.Not only do they see a change - but now Kelly is telling me “ideally a person who would do the 12 cycles would actually do that twice”.... I’m sorry what? Because Elizabeth sold me on the fact that typically you buy 6 cycles but if I really want to reach my goal buy 12 and now Kelly is telling me I need to buy 12 more..Can I just say that my first 12 cycles were $6,000! And she just looked me dead in the face and after spending $6,000 suggested I need to spend ANOTHER $6,000 to get better results! That when I lost all respect. All trust. And all interest in this business.And just to make sure I was completely understanding, after this absurd meeting with these ladies, I had a pre scheduled lash refill appointment where I then got to lay there for an hour digesting really what was just said to me. At check out I asked, to just make sure what I was suggested by Kelly was to do another 12 cycles and just exactly what my cost would be and sure enough Elizabeth walked right up with no hesitation and stated yes Kelly recommended you do 12 more and since you’re a VIP member your “locked in” to that “special rate”.Oh yippeee. A special rate of another $6,000. Because I was so happy with my first $6,000 I’m really going to jump right in to trusting them again.for another $6,000.Save yourself the time, the heartache and all else. The money. Invest your time and money elsewhere.

I only stopped here Briefly to Check it out but thi s place was really nice. I f I need d pedicure I definately would have gotten one if I had more time. It smells clean and the Staff were nice I would definately business there. This would be a perfect place to treat a mom for mothers day.

My husband bought a membership for me for my birthday, which means the money was coming out of his account for one year. I called and got an appt. for whatever service that I wanted at the time. I went, I liked the person that did the service. When I tried to call back and get another appt with the same person, I was informed that person is no longer there. I even made an appt one time and they didnt bother calling me to tell me that person was no longer there. I have tried on numerous occasions to get an appt for different services and they were booked up, by months. Which is fine, but why is my husband paying a BUNCH of money for services that I am unable to get an appt for? I went in for a massage, ONCE. Bruised and battered the next day, I figured I wouldnt do that again. Unfortunately, if you dont know it yet, if you have a membership read the fine print. You ARE obligated for ONE FULL YEAR to pay for not being a priority member. I would call it the Grab Bag Membership. You never know who your going to get and what service comes and goes. Not worth it.

Love this place people are really friendly & great to be around & really friendly & helpful with everything. I really recommend people that never tried this place to do so. I have gone in for a lot of things & I have loved each thing that I have done. If I had any questions they were there for me to help me with a great attitude & willing to help me in anyway that they could. Great place great service great people. Love that they have Specials each month.

I loved this place. Went twice and had a good experience both times. When I called to schedule an appointment, they say they are still closed but have no ETA on reopening. Some dispute with their landlord about a water leak. Tried to book at other location, but they only had one appointment in the next two weeks.I presume this place is permanently closed. Only one of the hair people went to the new location.

Great Staff! They don’t try to up sell you on anything. They literally have your best interest in mind. I love the results I’m having from the Biotene pellets. :)
