Everyone was awesome! The bouncers were helpful. The staff was friendly. The DJ did a great job selecting music. They let our skate group have a roller disco early on a friday. We had a blast. I hope we were entertaining to the crowd. We would love to do it again sometime.

Went last weekend on a Saturday, didn’t understand why I had to pay $20 cash for “valet” parking when it was the whole shopping center parking lot and when you go online it says free parking in the back but the guys at the “valet” said that wasn’t true, oh and I parked my own car lol. The music was great and the drinks were pretty well done, the entry fee wasn’t bad also but my friend broke her shoe when stepping in a crack on the floor that was covered by a carpet. The place just needs some TLC honestly the music was awesome! It has 2 dance floors they were both poppin’, definitely Uber or carpool to this place. Would I go again I think so maybe

Don’t come here unless you want to be harassed by some weird photographer and have the security say it is ok after you verbally have said you do not want to be recorded ! and delete my comment if you want. I will continue until you guys do something about it. thanks

Last night was Amazing. My first time at Metropolis & Extravaganza and I had a night to remember my whole life. Come check this place out. Its just Amazing

Fun night club for dancing! Went on a Saturday night and got bottle which was ok, got a little table that didn’t fit everything in it. The crowd was fun, the music was good, lighting was good, and the drinks were cheap compared to most nightclubs. Will definitely be back!Get better bottle service and it will be 5 star for sure.

I visited last night for Christmas Eve and it’s a nice looking club, people brought lots of energy but the hookah wasn’t that good and my margarita was good but I tasted 0 alcohol. The main thing I didn’t like was the 20$ parking fee.

Prices increased to $30 for admission, typical fee is $12 or so. In addition, they made me put my shirt back on when my costume called to be shirtless. Plenty of other folks walking around shirtless, not sure what the issue was.

Sunday was empty.... They kept playing Mexican music...i kept asking the dj for merengue or bachata and he kept saying next song, but he played nothing but Mexican music.....

Disgusting dirty place🤢they over charge for EVERYTHING. Theres people throwing up everywhere and it stinks. Had VIP and even up there you can smell the throw up. So nasty so many women throwing up in restroom too✋ So many problematic people there too trying to cut in restroom Line & make drama. 🚫never going here. Service was also bad charging more for bottles that we reserved before .

I was just there last night and I was a bit skeptical because of the one star reviews. I should of never listened to those reviews my fiancee and I had the time of our lives. Parking cost 12$ reverse only. The staff is really nice, in order to enter I paid 30$ for my fiancee and I. The DJ plays good music and the crowd was very fun.

This place made me and my guest real upset on a Friday night. Parking was fine at a decent price. Bouncers gave my brother in-law trouble from the getgo. I reserved a VIP section for my friend and I who were celebrating our birthdays together. Not once was it mentioned to me that the birthday people needed to turn in their ID before 11:30 to receive the promotion of buy one bottle, get one. Management needs to be reinforced. Communication is terrible. I will never EVER have my birthday celebration here ever again. To dance and have a good time its fun but to reserve a section to celebrate your birthday is a no go from me. Im not sorry about anything Ive said. Next time Ill celebrate at Tropicana where they have some class 😌

Fun night, great music, nice people and amazing service ! Ask for Melissa ! She’s very nice, pretty and knows how to do her job and makes sure you have a good time. Definitely made my experience better. Will come again.

Got served by Melissa, she was very patient with us after moving us to 3 different sections when me and my friends couldn’t decide. Ended up giving us a nice section and was very attentive even though it was extremely packed ! Made my birthday weekend.

Very fun!!! It get’s lit. Not boring at all. This is definitely for people that like to dance and party. It does get crowded. Parking is $20 cash only. Entrance is $10 for 21 over. $20 for 18+. Only latin music.

We when to celebrate my daughter friend birthday and was a lot of fun the only complain was the smell and bathroom but, based on the area not a fancy place but was ok to have a great night.

WARNING!!! DONT GO HERE!!! This place is disgusting! Upon entering you are greeted with the smell of vomit and urine as the bathrooms are in front of the entrance. There was no dress code, so it looked like a high school warehouse party. The dance floor was packed with people that cannot dance and were not considerate of others. I was elbowed, pushed, splashed with drinks and sweat. Crowded dance floors are always expected, but this was like bunch of neanderthals flailing around at the invention of fire and howling at the moon. Metropolis dj was ok, but the extravaganza dj must have been deaf with parkinsons disease cause his mix was trash. Now lets talk about the actual building. It should be condemned! The carpets on one side were saturated with who knows what kind of bodily fluids and spilled drinks. The other side it appears they gave up on cleaning, ripped up the flooring and now its just damaged broken painted, cement foundation, which is still wet with drinks and littered with bottles and cups. I can have a great time no matter where I go, but I will never go here again. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

I had my birthday party here and was so fun the music was good and the service was fantastic. The manager welcomes us with a big smile and take us to our VIP section. We did have fun I love this club

Parking is non existent if you own a full size truck with a 66 bed. They attempted to make me park in a small area and then They say nope wont work drive to the other side. I do so.... the guys there start flashing at my face making it hard for me to see! Plus then again it wouldnt fit so they say sorry you cant park here. So I ask where and he ignores me. Then I asked again and he said across the street..... I just decided to screw it and leave they are rude and refused to help at all. Went to Wild West and boom got great parking for a truck that size and only 5 bucks. And the place is enjoyable. Never coming back to metropolis.....

We made a mistake of booking at another club (across the street ) When we got there the crazy parking was $20 and $15 to get in even though we called a week ahead .No Birthday Specials . So I called Metropolis 😍 (My fav place ) told them our situation and they got us all in free we got a free bottle and a VIP area for 15 Girls . Had a blast Thank you guys for the best 21st Birthday 🎂 🎁 All my friends loved it . I always recommend and will celebrate my Bday in July 💕💕🥳

Went on a slower night and the club was eventually full with a crowd of around fifty or so people by midnight. Some of the carpeting and furniture were a little past their prime but didnt take away too much from the atmosphere since the music and lights on the dance floor created enough of a distraction.I had no problem parking a Tundra since I got there early and it was a weekday. I dont know how easy it is to park there on the weekend. One friend of mine did mention tow trucks were ready to haul away vehicles parked illegally in surrounding parking lots, so you may want to be careful about parking in any spot thats not intended for the club.

Just about new to the city of Houston and the surroundings one night we decided to stop by this club and let me start off saying that the actual outside reflects the inside - meaning is horrible, the music, their alcoholic drinks, dance floor and even their bathrooms! Not the experience we wanted to take with us but we were warned, a couple advised us not to go over, I guess we just should of listen. I had no idea places like this exist, very low and filthy, people by the door throwing up as well. The place definetly needs some type of change because it has nothing attractive. Needless to say that the location doesnt even deserve the 1 star rating and this review along with other ones lets you picture the environment and visit an actual joyful place.

I only go because of my parents, and Ive only gone with them. The environment is alright. The drinks are great. The staff can seem arrogant. Lots of hispanics so expect spanish music, especially on Saturdays. I think theres different music on different days. Thursday are black people music?? Not sure, never been in thursdays. Most of audience are in the 25-40 year old range. So its not really the scene for teens (18+) or young adults, but they are allowed. Overall, its an okay place.

Poor service , look out for a girl named Melissa she rude as hell , has no type of customer service , and charges you for service tips but expects for you to get your own stuff , worst service ever , lil girl needs to find something she does good because apparently been a waitress is not one, i had to talk to the manager but the manager was really rude , i had talk to the owner and the girl manager they were really good help but definitely wont be going back after Saturday 1-08-2021

Their hookah service is the worst. I paid $30 for a hookah with 1 charcoal. I asked him for a second one after after the first one burned out by that time the tobacco was burned I asked him to change it and he wanted to charge me an extra $15!!! A hookah should burn out with an hour!!! Waste of money!!

Despite the bad things I heard from people, I actually like this club! It’s a fun, upbeat Hispanic vibe! They play a lot of Latino music like reggaeton, bachata, and merengue etc. I came here on a Friday with some friends & I like it! They also serve hookah here as well. I’d come back 😊

Been going to this place for years, the music is fantastic, it does have two floors and they play a variety of music, drinks are ok, a bit to pricey, but ok, they do charge $15 for parking, not sure why a club charges for parking when you could actually spend that money on drinks, not willing to spend $30 before I get my first drink, so I limit my spending inside, one thing I have seen and actually recorded, is security treating people way too rough, they have thrown people to the ground and gotten very agresive with patrons, not all security is like that, but unfortunately most are, one day I believe a lawsuit is going to happen if they continue doing this, also one big mistake, is allowing kids in a club, aunfortunately its always been an issue with the under age crowd, there is a lot under age drinking, they should turn around and make it 21 and up, more money for the club, but they have a reputation for their underage crowds, I would like to meet adults to mingle with, but here its a bit of an almost impossible task, over all its an ok place to go to, if you just want to let loose and dance this is ideal, if you want to meet adults and mingle, you will have to search hard to find them..

Very ghetto very racist they only enforce dress code when convenient and did not allow our friends to attend. The bouncer’s eyebrows are ironic. It was not worth the trouble.

Had my 21st birthday there. Everyone had an amazing time, the waiter was awesome, music was good. Will definitely be going back!

This place is expensive and when you ask for water, they will refuse to give you any. Some girl was so drunk and vomiting, I felt bad for her and asked the guy at the bar to give her some water. He refused! He thought I was drunk and didn’t give me any water for the poor lady until I threatened to report him to TABC.

The crowd is descent. Variety of different latin nationalities. Dj Koma playa the best latin mixes from merengue, bachata, reggeaton, salsa and more. He also plays to 40 as well. Great place if you want to litsen to some good music to dance too and affordable drinks. Not to mention they always have $1 tequila shots at midnight.

Worst club I ever been to!!!!theres alot of high school students in this club they also charge like if you were partying in downtown ....charge me 20$ dollar for parking if they going to charge that atleast let it be vip but it was regular parking...then it was 25 for entrance(me and husband)and 20$ for a beer and goose /redbull little as 15 minutes I had spend 65 bucks..I really dont really mind spending money but been a ghetto club and treating guest rude I thought it was insane!!!!

One of my fav clubs that i enjoy with my friends its the right place to have fun and drinks, the entry fare is 10 $ and the drinks prices really good sometimes you get free drinks i love the atmosphere inside full with happiness i highly recommended this place to pleasure

Gunshots, loud rumbling window rattling music and bass you can hear a block away, screeching tires from people peeling out, massive traffic jams, vehicle break ins, police / ems sirens, and so much more...ahh yes.

Ratchet place employees can gang up on you and hit you and security and management does nothing about it.

The truth is that it has always been one of my favorite places to share with my friends, I highly recommend it....

2 things, 1 at the entrance they did not offer me tables or bottles, they only charged me and my wife the entrance, inside I asked for a bottle and they did not take my entrance as part of the payment. 2: We were 2 people, how are we going to drink a full bottle? At the time of departure I wanted to take out what was left of the bottle in 2 disposable kisses like anywhere else and with bad treatment and in a hurry they told me that it couldnt be done, there is no law that prohibits the owners from letting a client take out a drink from your local. Bad administration, I will not return nor recommend it...

As a Mexican I really DO NOT recommend it. We went this Saturday and we left disappointed with the place and the drinks, not to mention.... horrible!!!!! Better we went somewhere else and it was a thousand times better!

The atmosphere in this place is not very good, let it be said, I say it because of the music, they dont usually play good music, sometimes its a little stressful because you want to go dancing but the music they play doesnt work, they just play good music at the end of there. Boring 😒 I used to go every weekend and I got bored with pure garbage music.

Terrible service! The VIP waitress had a terrible temper. As if one were asking for a free section or drinks. And the people in my section were calm. There were people who got into the section next to us for free and they were making trouble with each other and they werent taken out. Dont waste your money or time here. Appalling. They charge you to breathe! Parking $10, cover $12, Modelo at $6, bottles of water at $4, bad vibes, the DJ wasnt mixing live (pre-recorded), and everyone is looking at you. Full of private sections, no seats to sit. And if youre LGBT, its definitely not your place.

I had one of the best nights here at this club. The music was good, the people were very friendly and the service was good too. It was a very fun night for my friends and I and I recommend you ask for Melissa, you wont regret it. Very pretty and very kind.

Well, I went on Saturday with a friend and they stole my cars license plate and they charged me 25 for parking. Now I have a problem because they left me without the rear license plate of my car. What a shame that one pays to have their car safe and I havent. 😡😡😡😡

A place with a good presentation at the entrance all those people are there...for you as a customer so at least they have to be grateful...they look at you as if you were going to ask them to borrow...ok ok tables to put a bucket or have a drink THERE IS NO...you have to stand ok ok...the DJ...or the person who plays the music either doesnt know how to mix or its okay...he plays music from 8 years ago as soon as he plays a rhythm he puts another one he already has people on the dance floor... and the house puts another rhythm on them... the guy doesnt know hey my people play music of the moment... update it. Its no use walking around in a jacket and scolding the employees when everyone We know that all this happens due to the poor organization of the simple manager...I hope you take note....and those bathrooms are stinking...no use...I seriously dont recommend it....!!!

If I could, I wouldnt give it a single star, apart from the fact that they charge you for parking, they send you to park far away, they think theyre nice and they dont have any of that, they dont even know how to make drinks well, the DJ doesnt even know what hes doing, totally no. I dont understand how I pay 100 dollars for a bottle of Bucaana and they tell me that I cant bring the drink that Im keeping, so they resell the same drink that I already paid for, its a mistake. of respect, the security very bad character and aggressive I do not plan to return, terrible place😡😡😡😡

Its a good club...but yesterday they scammed us, they charged us just to go see peoples awards, unless I paid to go dancing and they spent their time doing events that they would have done early and let us have fun.
