Sylvia did a great job fixing my really bad haircut from another salon. She was very patient and thorough. She communicated really well, asking me what I wanted and telling me what she was doing. I have to admit that Bonnie also gave me the best hair washing I have ever had. I will definitely return.

I recently started using Sylvia as my hair stylist. She does an amazing job! I am impressed at how easy it is to fix my hair and how well it maintains its style throughout the day. Sylvia does a fantastic job cutting my hair. I highly recommend her! The rest of the staff have been friendly and helpful as well.

Sylvia is truly a master stylist. I moved from Miami to Huntsville and couldn’t find the right hair stylist until Sylvia. She delivers every time. The only place I go to in Huntsvillle ❤️❤️❤️❤️

For my first facial experience and making a same day appointment, it was not bad at all. I went with the basic facial treatment, the lady was nice, she seemed to know what she was doing. It was a relaxing experience, and my face felt great afterward. The place was clean, comfortable, and spaciou. I wished they included eyebrows in the package. Be prepared to pay for this service, Im sure there are some packages that vary in price. That being said, it is nice to feel pampered.

The BEST salon in the Huntsville area! This salon has talented well rounded hairdressers that put their clients at ease. It’s a very beautiful, clean and comfortable atmosphere. The owner has fabulous taste. The best hairdresser is Sweet, Sensational Silvia. She has many years of experience. She is very patient, kind and will work with you. If you want your hair styled for an important event…ask for Debbie (see the pictures of the recent hairstyle that she did for me). This is one of the BEST salons in the Huntsville area! I moved to the area in 2022 and went to a few different salons. 921 Salon & Spa is by far the BEST in the area. Sylvia takes your pictures and turns them into reality! Her ability to cut and color exactly what you requested is amazing! I have short hair and its so difficult to find a stylist that can cut short hair. She is a master at my hair cut. The color is also PERFECT. I highly recommend her and the salon (everyone is so nice and professional). Its 5 Stars - without a doubt!!

I have gotten my hair cut with Sylvia for over 8 years, and I have never been disappointed. She very skilled and also friendly and personable. She knows exactly how to make my hair look amazing every time. In addition, the salon is very clean and beautiful, unlike many of the salons in the area that I had been to before. Salon 921 is five star in every way. The salon is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and Bonnie makes getting a shampoo seem like a mini head massage. I come away with both clean hair and a relaxed psyche. Sylvia Kim, the owner, has been my stylist for 18 years. After my first haircut, I knew I had finally found the perfect person to cut and style my hair. Sylvia listens to what you want, makes recommendations based on your particular hair and then does a professional job. She is a true master and continually strives to do her best.I have never been disappointed. I have moved 50 miles away but I continue to come to Sylvia for haircuts and coloring. She is that good!!

Very displeased. I called and scheduled a package- pedicure (in place of manicure), facial, massage, and I asked if I could add on a facial wax, as I’d seen on their website, to which they said yes. With my pedicure, the massage chair was broken; there was another chair available, but apparently the jets in its foot bath were broken. After the pedicure they move me to another room for my facial. I asked if I could have my waxing done first, but apparently they don’t offer this service anymore (even though- as they noted- it is on their online menu). Not to mention, the woman that I spoke with over the phone about the face wax denied me even asking for it. So after the facial, I asked if the massage was next? Apparently their massage person had called in sick that morning- so no massage either. And the cherry on top- I asked if they’d still be charging me for the full package; they said no, but instead of charging me for half the price of the package, they charged me for the two services that I received- which cost about the same as the entire package!

Mrs. Sylvia Kim is phenomenal . Ive been with her for years. She is not only professional but also very caring and nice. I felt lucky to have her as my hairstylist. Thank you so much for everything you do – youre a truly talented stylist. And, 921 Salon & Spa is one of the best in town. I always enjoy my appointments there.

Salon 921 is excellent. I tried several when I moved to Huntsville a year ago, and this is by far the best. Sylvia is an expert colorist and hair stylist. I always receive compliments on my haircut and color since going to her. I appreciate the online scheduling and the courteous receptionist, Whitley, who makes changes for me at the last minute sometimes. Its a relaxing salon with expert professional staff that always is on schedule. Highly recommend Salon 921 to everyone!

I have been seeing Jeanette Taylor at 921 Salon for a few years now and she is phenomenal. She is a color guru, and has given me gorgeous balayages in pink, purple, and teal! I get compliments all the time and my hair has never been healthier or more fabulous than since I’ve been seeing her. The salon itself is very clean and everyone on staff is super friendly and personable. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Sylvia has managed to improve on my color and has worked with me to explore new and exciting cuts. She is a creative and detailed professional. While age and Covid have taken their toll on me I leave Sylvia and the Salon looking and feeling terrific!

This is a wonderful Salon! Jeanette Taylor is the best stylist on the planet. She is very knowledgeable as well as talented and takes great care in creating the perfect style for my fine hair. She is so careful not to break or damage my hair and is very patient and attentive to all of my questions regarding style changes, etc. Her color technique is amazing and her cuts are perfect every time! The staff here is very friendly and welcoming and the prices are surprisingly affordable. This place is the best place in Huntsville alabama:) they always do me good and I highly recommend it. Ive been coming to see Jeanette at Salon 921 for 3 years now and I wouldnt see anyone else. Shes fantastic. JEANETTE is absolutely amazing. She is young so is keen on newer styles.She listens and provides feedback. She is meticulous and patient. (Especially when I’m griping about my hair).I don’t have easy hair to take care of. Stringy and tangly and straight and my cowlick is where my crown is so it always grows awkward and flat. She does a great job of working with it and helping me deal with it as well.I’m in my mid 50’s, but we did some cute color in the back. I loved it. I try to keep my hair with updated styles and she cuts and styles it that way.👏🏻👍🏻💇‍♀️❣️💯

Sylvia goes above and beyond to provide a soothing atmosphere. I have been a patron since the salon first opened and I have never had a negative experience. Sylvia stays current with her styling skills. She knows my hair texture and what styles it can maintain. I go to Sylvia for hair color, highlights and a great cut. I feel comfortable going with her recomendations because she has a great sense of style. As far as pricing goes, 921 Salon and Spa is priced competively. I have referred many clients to Sylvia over the years, because I know she wil take time and listen to their wants. I also make a point to bring family members when they visit from out of town for weddings, etc. This is a great place!

Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. However, I got the illuminating facial with $15 add on acne treatment and this is how I left the salon. It calmed down after a few hours, but I have no known allergies at all. Wish I could’ve left with illuminating skin like they claim! Now I have red marks all over my face from the acne treatment as well.

I have been to Salon 921 on several occasions and I just cant stop coming back!!! Every service from pedicure, massage, waxing and my hair cut/style was AMAZING! I definitely recommend these talented group of professionals. They are great at what they do and their customer service is top notch! All of the staff are friendly and personable with their greetings upon arrival and goodbyes! The receptionist is very polite and efficient with setting up appointments and rescheduling around the customers hectic schedule. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Oxana, the esthetician was so friendly, kind, and amazing 🤩 took my 13 year old and myself in for facials and left completely in love with my skin! The place was also very clean and smells great.

Salon 921 is a state of the arts salon. All of the stylists are top notch. Their no. 1 goal is to please their clients.

Yesterday was my first visit, and I had a great experience. My hair was very damaged and out of control, but Ms. Sylvia worked wonders with cut and color. I couldnt believe it. I also love the online scheduling - so easy!

I have been to a lot of different salons in Huntsville and this one is by far the best and my favorite. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, not to mention talented. My hair always looks fantastic after having it done here and even weeks after my appointment I still receive numerous compliments on how good it looks.I have recently begun trying out some of the spa services and I am so glad I did. The spas massage therapist and esthetician is excellent! I always leave feeling valued and pampered. So far Ive only tried a few of her available services but I enjoyed them so much that I plan to try more services in the near future. As of right now I highly recommend the Swedish Massage and waxing services. I especially suggest the massage therapy for anyone suffering from tension headaches or migraines, it really helped me immensely in this area.

Had an aroma therapy sugar scrub and body massage. Kim Walker is an amazing massage therapist! Excellent customer service with all the staff. Will definitely be back!

What can I say about Salon 921 & Day Spa? Well, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a pleasant smile and a caring receptionist. My Stylist wasnt quite ready for me yet so I sat down in the lobby. As I looked around I could tell that things were clean and dust free (being OCD, this was a big deal to me LOL). After about 5 minutes, my Stylist came out to the lobby, shook my hand and introduced herself. She was very friendly and immediately I felt comfortable. She listened to what I wanted, gave her thoughts, and then we started. I could not be happier with the results! I feel like a new woman!I will definitely be back, and look forward to trying out some of the spa services! I hear they are wonderful!Sincerely,a very pleased client.

Found 921 when I was looking for a Goldwell salon. Jeanette has been my stylist and does an amazing cut, color, and style every time. I can call for an appointment and get in within a reasonable time frame.Love this salon and stylist.

I have had facials and waxing services here and loved them but will not be back because of the salon experience. I asked for low light to help blend my roots with my blonde hair better. I showed her lots of pictures of what I would like it to look like. I left with very light low lights not close to the color of my roots to help blend like asked and was charged 100 dollars for just the top of my head low lights. She charged me 30 for a blow dry because I didnt get a haircut. I guess I was suppose to leave with wet hair in below freezing temperatures. I called to talk about how I isnt the color I wanted and she never offered to fix it. Just said that she couldnt do darker because it would like unnatural with such light blonde hair.

I tried so many salons when I first moved to Huntsville from Houston. I got several bad haircuts and went through horrible experiences with many of the salons in the area.However, at Salon 921, I was truly happy with my haircut and experience. I never expected to find a salon that would be able to compare with the salon I used to go to in Houston, but I believe that I have found the place. I am so relieved that I no longer have to search throughout the city to find a salon. I love my new haircut and stylist!

I just moved here and was hesitant about trying a new salon. My friend recommended this salon, so I decided to try it out. I absolutely LOVE my haircut! This is the best my hair has ever looked. Definitely coming here regularly.

HelloI cut my hair yesterday, Im very nervous!!! Now my look is very ugly, I dont like my hair, my husband didnt translate my sentences when I was in Salon because I dont speak English very well and he didnt like problems, Im so sad and I still cryed since yesterday when Im remembering , my hair cut isnt as I asked, isnt same my photos, also the very ugly hair dryer I told the woman it isnt same my photos ,and the brush used on my hair has many white hair .. Its dirty .I just stand up... I want leave the Salon. Today! my friend at school told my (what happened to you ! Your hair very ugly) ... Im sorry but I cant come again to your Salon, its very bad for me, honestly! Its the worse salon ever. You dont deserve even one star

I am new to Huntsville and got a gift certificate to this spa and was very excited for my day at the spa. Unfortunately, my visit did not go as expected. I was told to show up at 9 am and didnt actually get helped until 40 minutes later. The wait time could have just been let go, however my service from then on was not much better. I got a Brazilian and it was probably the worst one I have ever gotten. I feel terrible Im giving this review because everyone was so nice, but I was very unhappy with that particular service. The only reason that Im rating it a 3 instead of lower is because my massage and facial were excellent. The whole building is cozy and welcoming but the temperature was too cold for my liking. Overall my experience was less than satisfactory.

Pascal did my highlights and he was awesome! Extremely talented and experienced. The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this salon to everyone.

Horrible doesnt even begin to describe my experience here. The woman didnt listen to what I wanted, and goaded me into going with her recommendation basically be threatening to charge me a rediculous amount. After taking 30 minutes applying color she tells me to leave it on for another 35 minutes. After ten my head was burning horribly. When I inform her of this, she tells me shes never had that happen before and loosens the hair on top. She continue to argue with me about my head burning and continues to tell me I need to leave it on longer. I finally convince her I want it out of my hair and the hair washing woman( and I didnt catch her name but she was only good part about the whole experience- thank you wonderful lady ) had to scrub my forehead and even she couldnt get the dye off my skin. Imagine what would happened if I had left it on for the total time of an hour? If you to here I strongly suggest you dont use Sylvia Kim, unless you want to be completely ignored and then charged double for the privilege.

I follow my stylist and she has been at Salon 921 for the last few years. Great place! Very clean. They also do mani/pedi upstairs.

Purchased a gift certificate of $160 for my wife last Christmas. She went for her appointment and they only honored 1 of the 3 services the package included. She was told that the package purchased was now a different rate. Despite the gift certificate being vailid through the end of the year, they would not honor what we bought. She had to pay an additional $25 just to get the facial. I understand prices change but a gift certificate/package deal should be honored to the expiration date. To me, thats not the right way of treating a customer. I would have bought another package for my wife but will now do so somewhere else.

Julie Nunn is the best esthetician in the world! She has been giving me microcurrent facials and microneedling which has made my skin feel and look 100 times better; my skin is much more hydrated and my wrinkles have diminished. I’m so happy with everything she does!
