Writing this as a warning for everyone else. I booked a stay at the Valley House Inn back in March for June 27-30th. We arrived today and there was no one at the location. I texted/called Rachel, no response, and the website is no longer active..weird. We waited around town for an hour and drove to Atomic Chalet to ask if they had any info. Learned from the owner Wes that the house is pending sale and we are not the first people to come searching for other accommodations due to Rachel’s lack of communication. There was no call or email to give notice for cancellation. There is an active AirBnB for this location, there are still several positive reviews out there that are fairly recent but be warned, do not book!
We originally booked this on air bnb but Rachel asked us to book directly with her and cancelled the other reservation so I can’t leave this review on air bnb. As such, this is my only option. I wanted to leave something in case any other air bnb renters check here (as I did). I can only guess that things changed a lot when this was converted to an air bnb from an inn given all the prior positive reviews. When we arrived, Rachel told us her uncle had passed away unexpectedly so she had friends helping her out who had cleaned the place for her. They didn’t do a good job - they left their fountain drink on the counter, half full trash cans, expired food in the fridge, crumbs on the floors (which is extra gross since I have an infant who was crawling around on the floor). I don’t know why she didn’t hire a professional cleaning service because it needed it. Plus, Rachel provided zero info on where to find keys to lock the house or the high chair she said she had or anything else for that matter. I was trying not to bother her too much because of her family matters but ended up on a scavenger hunt through more junk when I did ask her.To make matters worse, Rachel’s cat had peed in my friend’s bed before we arrived which they didn’t realize until they laid down in it that night around midnight. I texted her the next day and she couldn’t direct me to where to find clean sheets so I just washed them myself since I knew she was dealing with a family emergency. However, that didn’t make up for the very misleading nature of the air bnb photos. They show empty, uncluttered common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen) with gleaming wood floors. This is not the reality at all. There is stuff on every single surface. A fake Christmas tree still up in February, coat rack with other people’s coats, clutter on every piece of furniture/bookshelf. There was someone else’s open suitcase with clothes sitting at the end of the bed in one of the rooms, boxes of stuff “hidden” behind the couches, dirty laundry in the laundry area. Also there was HAIR, lots of hair, on the side of the bathtub. I forgot to take photos of the clutter before we locked up so these photos are the only two I got (entry living room and the hair on the bathtub). Our first day, Rachel’s friend showed up and just walked right in to Rachel’s room as if we weren’t renting the entire house. And then Rachel asked us to feed her cat the whole time we were there. I’m a cat person so it wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to go into Rachel’s personal bedroom in order to feed the cat. I am not exaggerating when I say I have never been in a messier space. There were clothes and trash and shoes and STUFF all over the floor, bed, dresser, closet, bathroom. I felt very uncomfortable having to go in there.Last - the showers were very difficult to adjust the temp. Either too hot or too cold so my friend’s daughter eventually just showered downstairs. And I gave up on using the jacuzzi tub bc there wasn’t enough hot water. I wanted to make excuses for her/ the place that maybe she just wasn’t used to running an air bnb vs a B&B but then I saw she rents other places out so actually there is no excuse. I guess she felt bad because she sent us a bunch of chocolates but we didn’t need 10 boxes of chocolates. We needed a clean house. This place needs a massive decluttering and a deep professional cleaning. And don’t stay here if you don’t like cats.
My son booked a stay at Valley House over Christmas. Rachel was so accommodating and the place was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and had a few delicious breakfasts prepared by Chef Luis! My room was beautiful with the sauna, which came in handy after sledding with my grandbabies. Rachel arranged a tour of the observatory down the road and made our stay so pleasurable. It was a great Christmas getaway, spent with family making memories. Just what we needed! Loved meeting Rachel and Shadow and loved my stay at Valley House.
We stayed at Valley House Inn January 2023. Rachel, who owns the inn spares no expense when it comes to adding special touches to her guests’ stay. We loved spending time with her. She set up a visit to the telescope down the road for us with her friend which we thoroughly enjoyed. Enjoyed meeting other guests at the inn, there is a nice common area to mix and mingle. A true bead and breakfast with delightful breakfast, lovely rooms, clean…. The whole nine yards.
We had a wonderful breakfast at the Valley House Inn. Rachel was so welcoming and the food was delicious. She even gave us little gifts to take home! What a special place.
This review is long overdue! My boyfriend and I stayed here in March for 3 nights as a base to ski Snowbasin and it proved to be the perfect place. This is a truly lovely, exceptional BnB and innkeeper Rachel is AMAZING.The Inn itself is warm, clean, spacious yet cosy and well decorated. We stayed in the Nelson Suite which was a good size and the 2 person sauna was a blast! Rachel was so welcoming, attentive to all details and especially our needs. She is a great hostess. The breakfasts were excellent as were the snacks. I am still buying Epic Bison Strips and 34 degree crackers!I highly recommend this phenomenal BnBThank you Rachel!
Literally perfect in every way. This place is full of charm, elegance, history, and love. All with gourmet touches! The owner Rachel goes above and beyond to make each guest feel special. Book quickly before they fill up!
It was sweet to visit Rachel and her little inn! My husband and I are so grateful for the effort and strength Rachel puts into loving others. What a fun and beautiful location. Thanks Rachel! (:
My wife and I have stayed hundreds of places over the years, and let me tell you, this place has been the best. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and well stocked with personalized amenities. Rachel, the owner is absolutely wonderful, so thoughtful and fun to hang out with. This place was just an absolute pleasure to stay at. We recommend 100%. As far as places and things around Huntsville, Shooting star saloon is steps away from the Inn, as well as a BBQ place and Carlos and Harleys Restaurant. Need a recommendation just ask Rachel, she knows all the cool spots around town. If you want a truly magical and serene experience, visit Valley House Inn.
Rachels Valley House Inn was a perfect place to celebrate my husbands milestone birthday. The home is lovely and quiet; and the breakfast very very hearty, enough to keep you going all day and then some! Rachel communicated very well what was in store, including nice birthday surprises and generous goodies from local artisans. She was in the process of deep cleaning while managing to spoil us during our overnight stay. Her dog and cat are delightful. Thanks Rachel and Team for a wonderful birthday stay! You all were amazing. We hope to return in the spring & fall.
Our stay at the inn was amazing!! The house was quaint, newly upgraded and beautifully decorated. The room was super romantic - we were treated to champagne and rose petals when we arrived. Breakfast was cooked by a local chef and was delicious, and was delivered to our room in the morning. Rachel was an amazing host and thought of every detail. Will absolutely stay again next time we visit!
This beautiful bed & breakfast is truly a rare gem and the service is far above and beyond what we have ever experienced! Rachel was wonderful with our kids and made us all feel right at home. The whole experience was wonderful and the food delicious!!! What a gourmet breakfast with SO many special touches and extras that you dont get anywhere else. Everything is so clean and beautifully decorated. We cant wait to go back!!!
Superb attention to detail. Rachel was the perfect host. My husband and I went for my birthday celebration and it could not have been any better. We stayed in the Log Haven room. Bed was beyond comfortable. Jetted tub surrounded by candles and rose petals was to die for. And the star light ceiling was a really cool feature. But best of all was my special birthday cake and ice cream waiting for me when we got back from dinner. Rachel thinks of everything. And the three course breakfast in the morning was just fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommended Valley House Inn to all...even if it’s just a local getaway night. Thanks again Rachel!
Valley House Inn was a PHENOMENAL stay!! We stayed in the Log haven suite and were so impressed by all of the carpentry, thoughtful decor and gorgeous designs. The jetted tub was incredible and we slept so soundly away from our kids for our anniversary!! The Valley Inn has the touches of home with Rachel the host being so kind, personable and accommodating—she even had our suite ready to celebrate our anniversary, complete with chocolates, sparkling cider, rose petals and candles. It was great having other friendly guests staying on the premises but still felt like we could keep it private in our own suite, private enclosed patio and dining table, and our air-conditioning unit and TV that could even be used as white noise. Earplugs were also provided by the beds. The setting around the bed and breakfast was the most peaceful country setting with trees and fresh mountain air smells. We brought our mountain bikes and rode around town and had a blast!!! Highly highly recommend this unique and fun stay!! Thank you so much Rachel for an amazing anniversary stay!!
A true GEM! My group and I had a wonderful experience at the Valley House Inn. Rachel welcomed us like family and went over and above our expectations. We arrived with our rooms decorated with rose petals, hand-lit candles, champagne and a box of local treats. The bed and breakfast was large and each room was designed with a different theme. We had breakfast and dinner each night that was prepared by Rachel’s team and it was phenomenal. She aims to only use the highest quality ingredients and focuses on local organic food. Her attention to detail and authentic hospitality made our time really special. Near the end of our stay, she gave us a really thoughtful gift which was a blank that was monogrammed with our names. If you have any requests, Rachel and her team will accommodate you. I accidentally left an item and she was kind enough to mail it to me at no expense. We cannot recommend the Valley House Inn and will definitely be visiting when we are back in Utah!
We recently stayed for a night to celebrate our anniversary before skiing PowMow. Rachel is the hostess with the mostest!! She made our stay unforgettable, with so many small touches throughout our stay. We appreciate her willingness to support local small women owned businesses and we will absolutely be back!!
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Rachel was a five star host. She confirmed our reservation the day before and made sure she knew both of our names and remembered them during our whole stay. the place was immaculate and so cute. Rachel served warm cookies before bed and accommodated food allergies. The 3 course breakfast was amazing! First class service! Definitely going back again!
The inn is beautiful! The room are well maintained and gorgeous. A perfect getaway! The breakfast was a delight. The breakfast omelet was divine, truly living up to its gourmet reputation. The service was also stupendous! Rachel took care of us from beginning to end with communication beginning from booking. She upgraded us for free and also gave us a complimentary romantic package for our anniversary. We have recommended this place to multiple people already and look forward to going back.
We had an awesome stay at Valley House Inn. The historical inn is charming and very comfortable. The rooms are clean and the innkeeper, Rachel, had a welcome note and treats set out in our beautiful room. She attended to all our needs, prepared an awesome breakfast, and is so kind. If I could give her and Valley House Inn more than 5 stars, I would!
Could not be happier with our stay at the Valley House Inn. Rachel is an amazing hostess. She communicated with us prior to our stay and answered questions we had about the area. She included a small treat basket from a local baker and a small gift for my husband and I, along with a beautiful rose to take home, a Polaroid to remember our stay, and a handwritten card. She went absolutely above and beyond setting up the room with rose petals, candles, and sparkling cider, showing us where everything is, etc. There was a fireplace, jetted tub, board games to pick from downstairs, and a smart tv with Netflix and Amazon already logged in. The breakfast was amazing as well. We have stayed at other bed and breakfasts - including the Anniversary Inn - but I must say, they all pale in comparison to this one. It is obvious Rachel takes great pride and care into her beautiful B&B. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
Everything good that everyone says about the Valley House Inn - the accommodations, the location, the ambiance, and especially the hospitality - is true in spades! Rachel made us feel like we were special, and she went out of her way to ensure that no need or desire went unmet. More than that, she created an atmosphere where we felt that she, her staff, and the other guests were all like family. In two days! Our stay was truly unlike any other that we have experienced. It’s too bad that we can only give the Valley House Inn five stars across the board. We’d give it ten, if we could.
Our stay at Valley House Inn was superb. Rachel and her team went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, we wish we had bigger stomachs to eat more! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We look forward to our next visit!
Everyone should make sure they spend time at Valley House Inn. Rachel did a fantastic job at setting up our 9 year anniversary reservation. She communicates everything you need to know and provided wonderful customer service. The card, rose, flowers, candles drinks and all was perfect. The host James and Katie took care of us while we had our stay in the Log Haven suite. The romance package was so adorable and brought my wife to tears. My wife said this was the most relaxing stay she has ever had. From late night cookie treats, snacks, drinks, 3 course breakfast this place/stay was so worth it. The history of the home is amazing too. It was fun to be able to look around and appreciate such a fun place. We will definitely be back again. Wow!
*Update*After I left this review Rachel texted my best friend to complain about my review. As you can read for yourself, I said nothing bad. This was completely unprofessional. If there was a problem, it should have been brought to me, not my friend! The owner, Rachel is so sweet and such a great host. The breakfast was pretty good. The first course of breakfast was delicious, and even though I found the second course a little over seasoned, it was still good. My only complaint was that the mattress in the room we slept in was very firm, and we like a soft mattress, but if you like a firm mattress it would be great. The bar across the street and restaurant around the corner were very convenient. Over all it was a very nice B&B. The house is beautiful and feels like home and Rachel really does try to make sure your visit is a good experience.
If you like the feeling of staying with dear family member or friend that will make certain that you are comfortable and well fed, then the Valley House is for you. The moment you arrive the owner, Rachel, will give you a warm welcome and make sure your needs are met. From the very cozy accommodations, delicious meals prepared by Chef John and Marianne to the apres ski events, Rachel is redefining what a B&B should be. You’ll be hard pressed to find another B&B that can match the wonderful experience of staying at the Valley House. I am looking forward to a future stay!
This bed and breakfast is FANTASTIC!! Its a beautiful and historic home in Huntsville. The ambience is warm and inviting. Each meticulous detail is taken care of. Rachel, the owner, went out of her way to ensure our stay was special and memorable. I highly recommend the Valley House Inn! My wife and I LOVED it!
My wife and I had a great time at the Valley House. Our room was clean and had everything we could want. Cathy was great as our hostess doing pretty much anything she could to make our stay enjoyable and offering great suggestions for things to do in the area. It’s a great location for a ski trip to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.Update from our trip in March 2022- We stayed again at the Valley House and this time the owner, Rachel, was there hosting us. We had an unbelievable time! She continues to update the house, and its even more charming. Her breakfasts were amazing, huge and kept us full through an entire day skiing without needing to stop for lunch. She made us dinner a few nights as well which made for fun evenings hanging around the house. Lastly, Rachel gave us great suggestions for things to do around town and places to eat. We cant recommend staying here enough.
This is the BEST place we have visited in a very long time! It was very clean, friendly, amazing customer service provided by the owner Rachel. The rooms were warm, inviting and the area gorgeous. Rachel texted prior to us coming to make sure she had everything perfect for our stay. The breakfast in the morning was beautifully done and no request was ignored. We stayed in the Log Haven room, which was charming. Large, clean jetted tub + a shower, fireplace, little enclosed alcove balcony for sitting (we ate our breakfast there). We will DEFINITELY be returning to this location.
One of the best bed and breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. Rachel is an amazing host and takes such care to make sure her guests have the best time. She even made up a snack plate for my friend and I while we got ready for a wedding, which was so above and beyond. We will certainly be back!
Rachel went above and beyond with lots of little extra touches to make our stay at the Valley House Inn an exceptional experience when our small family came together from four different states to celebrate a milestone birthday. We left with treasured and lasting memories of conversations and laughter we shared every morning over the dining table as we savored phenomenal, gourmet breakfasts prepared by Rachel and crew. She gave us the run of the house and, as a family we truly felt at ‘home’ in the charming ambiance that pervaded the historic Valley House Inn. We are grateful to have had such a wonderful experience and we whole-heartedly recommend a stay at the Valley House Inn. Kari B.
We spent the new year here and stayed in the log haven room. The room was very clean and neat. The owner Rachel made an amazing breakfast. She is very passionate about this cute Inn and the history. We counted down the new year around a fire in the back with the owner and one of the other couples that was staying in another room. What a fun night! It was an experience like no other. Rachel really makes you feel very welcome and makes you want to come back.
We were delightfully well taken care of! Rachel is the most welcoming host and so attentive to every detail - from delicious apres ski clam chowder to little treats from local merchants, we felt so lucky to visit this gem of a place. We took our teens for a winter get away and felt like we were living in a Hallmark movie the whole time! The historic inn is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and full of charm. We’d recommend Village House Inn Bed & Breakfast any day!
The owner, Rachel, is the epitome of first class customer service. Detail oriented and so kind, our meager wish was her command. She recommended local restaurants and nearby activities. We had such an awesome time, we didnt want to come home!We stayed in the Log Haven Suite which had a whirlpool tub, and it truly reminded my wife and me of a romantic little cabin tucked in a quaint town where the locals were friendly and helpful. Rachels cooking skills are amazing! She served our delicious breakfast (fresh fruit compotes, homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, cheese omelettes and maple bacon, fresh OJ and all the coffee/tea we wanted) on exquisite Lenox china and we were free to eat in our enclosed balcony or in the dining room.We recommend Valley House Inn highly, knowing you will have an extraordinary experience.
My wife and I went on a small getaway vacation and Rachel went above and beyond to make sure everything was incredible for us. Ive never seen such kind and caring service from a lodging before! She was so sweet and her Inn was perfect! It was very cute, cozy, and quiet. We loved our experience here and are definitely planning on coming back!
I’m so grateful to have frequented this inviting historical establishment countless times. Each time I arrive I am warmly greeted which makes me feel so special. Rachel puts her heart and soul into providing the very best service and it shows. I see it and feel it in everything she does. The breakfast is absolutely amazing! I ate so much food because it was so delicious and the presentation is what really blew me away. China dishes! What a lovely way to start the day and what a wonderful place! Thank you so much Rachel and your staff. You are truly the best of the best!
Rachel exceeded every expectation and then some. From the moment we booked the room, she became our travel guide. She made dinner suggestions, ski resort recommendations and herself available for any questions. Upon arrival, lit candles, champagne, speciality chocolate and gifts in our room. We got the anniversary package. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the service was unlike anything we have experienced. We will make this an annual tradition.
Stayed here for our 22 anniversary, it was amazing! Super relaxing atmosphere and they used high quality products. Rachel was super nice and very accommodating. I am a vegan and my husband is not. She really went out of her way to make us happy! Breakfast was great! She is a very good cook. I would 100% recommend this place for a nice romantic getaway! Thanks Rachel!
We had an excellent stay at the Valley House Inn! It was a quick ride up to Snow Basin Resort. Rachel, the owner was amazing! She made us great breakfasts each day, offered Apres Ski, and accommodated our pups. Rachel made you feel right at home. We had a great nights sleep and enjoyed the Huntsville area.
Our 2nd time here and we loved it just as much as the first! We dont get to get away very often but when we do, this will be the only place well go. Its quiet, private and cozy, absolutely perfect! And Huntsville is beautiful in the Fall!
We stay at hotels almost weekly, and we found the service, atmosphere, and hospitality one of the best. The rooms were very clean, and the grounds were beautiful.Rachel, the owner, happily greeted us. We could tell she’s put so much thought and great effort into showing her guests, she wants a good experience with their stay.Breakfast and presentation of the food was fun and super tasty! In a world of sub-standard customer service, it was so refreshing to have a different experience.
Rachel was extremely accommodating and friendly. She made our anniversary trip feel very special and went above and beyond with our amenities. We stayed in the Log Retreat room and it was extremely nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The history of the area is interesting. This is a nice place to stay if you dont want to stay in Ogden.
AMAZING! I brought my husband here as a surprise for his birthday. We stayed in the Valley Suite. The owner Rachel went out of her way to make sure it was perfect! The home is beautiful and clean and breakfast was perfect. We will absolutely be back again.
Rachael made our stay so enjoyable. Rachel is such a carrying and giving person. She shared so many wonderful things with us each day. The atmosphere was amazing and relaxing. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends.
We had a fantastic stay here in January 2020. The bedroom was very nice with windows on 3 sides. The King bed was comfortable. The common areas of the house are extensive and well furnished.Rachel, the owner/innkeeper was gracious and helpful in every way.The multi course breakfast was exceptional with a fruit cup, bacon, eggs and potatoes, followed by cinnamon french toast. All 3 of the guestrooms are on the second floor, so lugging a heavy ski bag upstairs isnt great.Location was a short drive to Snowbasin.
This was a divine experience! Rachel was so personable and helpful. We walked into our room with rose petals, chocolate truffles and sparkling cider. The feel is classy vintage. I loved the 3 course breakfast on our private balcony. The steam shower was amazing. The best place to spend our 20th anniversary! Thank you!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valley House Inn. Rachel was a wonderful gratuitous host and made us feel so welcome and at home in her lovely inn. The location was lovely and so serene. The only downside was the shower in our room but that did not at all take away from our wonderful experience. I highly recommend the Valley House Inn.
We rented out the entire Inn for our intimate family wedding in August 2020. Best decision ever! The owner/hostess, Rachel Dalby, is AMAZING! She really knows how to deliver exceptional service, a welcoming home-like environment, and a place to gather that embraces all who enter. Guests were well attended to and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The breakfast in the morning had us salivating with homemade local syrups and jams. This is the total package! Wow...just wow!
I would give a 10 stars if I could. We stayed at the Valley House Inn for the Huntsville Marathon - what a beautiful surprise! Every detail was so well cared by Rachel! And the place, so beautiful, lovely and romantic! The room was GORGEOUS and everything so comfy! I slept like a baby - THE BRUNCH was the best! After the Marathon, Rachel prepared a delicious brunch for us, with high quality ingredients and she added LOVE for every dish - the duck eggs was heavenly and the French toast - OMG... and after that she still was our tour guide to a beautiful lake of the region... My husband and I left there planning to come back!!! It is our happy place already - Best food, best region - best sleep :)
Rachel has set up a very cozy little operation. We were well taken care of on our overnight getaway. There were treats set out, we had free use of the kitchen if needed, theres a nice common room upstairs with tea and coffee station and microwave. All the typical comforts are well accounted for. Breakfast was excellent to boot. Were looking forward to the next excuse to head up there.
I normally don’t leave reviews on places but this place was absolutely outstanding! It was pricey but I would’ve gladly paid more! I was scrambling trying to find a place within two hours of home because for once in a very long time, we didn’t have a busy weekend planned… I randomly stumbled upon this place online… I saw one room available and immediately called Rachel… told her what the occasion was and her hospitality and how the room setup with flowers for our expecting family was going to work, blew me away right from the start…. We stayed in the Log Haven room.. really loved the outer space looking ceiling when the room was dark and especially the Jetted tub! Breakfast was phenomenal too!
Rachel, the food, the room, the location were all perfect. My husband and I came with our two kids (9 and 11) and Rachel made everything so fun for them. The location was very close to skiing and the little town of Huntsville is charming. Our breakfast - made by a local chef was delicious...we cant wait to come back!
We loved our stay. Large, comfortable rooms and bed! Rachel accommodated vegetarian/vegan breakfast. I had expressed interest in her rescue dog so let us watch the morning training session through our enclosed balcony. Breakfast and a show! :) Beautiful area. We visited in November and there was “just enough” snow.
5 stars all around. What an amazing place! We kind of stumbled upon it while searching for a quiet and cozy place to stay. This is a historic, true B&B run by the lovely Rachel. Our room was a log cabin style space with a big cozy bed, warm lantern lighting, a fireplace and the kind of bathroom you want to hang out in with the best soaking tub (locally made soaps included!). Breakfast is 3 courses, all made by Rachel right there in the big farmhouse style kitchen. She obviously takes pride in providing top notch hospitality and was happy to provide all sorts of info on the local area. We can’t wait to stay here again!
We stayed at Rachel’s the first week of December and it was wonderful. So many thoughtful touches and we loved the cozy fireplace in our room as well as the incredible breakfast she shared in our sunroom. She’s a lovely hostess! Great location, and wow, what star gazing.
This was probably the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed in. The setting is supremely beautiful, and Rachel has made the interior and exterior of this darling old house a wonderful mixture of vintage and modern. The area is home to truly stunning flowers, gorgeous lakes and ponds and, of course, jaw dropping mountains. We came during May 2020 and felt very safe from Covid 19. Rachel is a wonderful host!! She made us feel so welcome from the get go, with a cute balloon and chilled sparkling cider (since we don’t drink) with antique champagne glasses, in honor of my spouse’s birthday, all complimentary. Then that evening she had a mini cake from a bakery in Eden prepared with Blake’s name and everything (again, complimentary)! So sweet. The room was so comfortable. We stayed in the king room and loved the steam shower, massive tub, comfortable bed, in room fireplace (gas), local artisanal soaps and other thoughtful amenities. I used the hand lotion by the sink and my spouse asked what smelled so good :). The views were beautiful, and we loved our private enclosed balcony for our breakfast. It was three courses and Rachel had us let her know what time was best for us. We got to go for a peaceful jog in the morning where we could enjoy the amazing scenery and then came home to fresh fruit and juice, all served on antique dishes. Our next course was an amazing omelette made with Irish cheddar cheese and local veggies and farm fresh organic eggs and bacon. We had yummy hot cocoa alongside. Then our dessert course was coconut cinnamon French toast. Just divine!! Rachel was so incredibly welcoming, letting us leave at noon, and even taking a cute Polaroid of us on the front porch as a little souvenir. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!!!
My husband and I had an amazing stay at Valley House Inn. Rachel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed eating it in the private nook that was connected to our room. We plan to stay here again!
We were looking for a place to stay last minute, before a biking event (campgrounds were full). We call Rachel the owner. she was not at the Inn, but she got us in contact with her friend Cyndi who was helping at the Inn. Although they were not accepting guest that day because some cleaning, she allowed us to stay in the nicest suite . The house and the room were beautiful, spacious and very clean. Cyndi was super helpful, always with a smile and she went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We will be coming back next time we are in the nice town of Hunstville UT!
My husband & I wanted a nice get away, we have never stayed in a BB and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Rachel was so warm and welcoming, showed us all of the amenities. It was so comfortable, they had set up our room with candles and rose pettles was so perfect.
This is my favorite B&B! Rachel and her team are the best. They are so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. My recent visit was a self care getaway for one. The room was decorated before my arrival with rose petals, champagne, local chocolates and handmade soaps. MaryAnn asked me what my plans were and brought up some salt rocks and aroma therapy for a bubble bath I planned to take later. I was extra spoiled to be able to get in on the Evening at The Inn’s 5 course meal with executive chef Luis Rodriguez. It was phenomenal! I even managed to forget my coat and they loaned me a nice thick wool sweater and even offered to loan me one of their coats. This one of the last hidden gems in Utah. Right across the street are some neat restaurants and a fun park that was setup for self serve ice skating. It’s also a 1.5 mile walk down to Pineview lake. 🥰🥰🥰
Wonderful four day stay at the Valley House Inn for skiing at Snowbasin. Rachel is just wonderful, going way above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. Great breakfasts and a hearty apres ski waiting upon our return. Fenced yard and sleds were great for my toddler, as was the spectacular public library/childrens library on the same block. Across the street from a great saloon and the downtown drag. Comfortable, spacious rooms and all natural organic bathroom products and food. Great stay!
This mountain experience is one of a kind. Rachel is a great owner who goes above and beyond for her guests. It’s centrally located for snowing multiple local resorts. The food is so good and I loved how she hired local teens to help her community.
We loved spending our first anniversary here! It was lovely, cozy, quaint, romantic, Rachel went the extra mile to make it wonderful for us. Thank you for everything!!
If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would! First off, Rachel is the kindest lady and sweetest host. The breakfasts she made my friend and I was out of this world! I felt like a princess staying there by the amount of times Rachel went above and beyond for us during our stay. She pays attention to even the little details and it shows!Second off, the Valley House is absolutely beautiful inside and out; I felt like I was in the Titanic but on land! Definitely recommend walking down the street to see the beautiful view of the mountains & lake, then lighting a fire out in the backyard. Incredibly relaxing, can’t wait to go back!
UPDATE: I want to call out that I have updated my review from 3 stars to 4! Rachel immediately responded to the feedback below and is taking measures to correct that for future guests and for future stays for my husband and I! She is a very gracious host and clearly a competent business owner. The measure of good service is in how you respond to feedback and she has exceeded expectations in that regard! This place was a fairly solid 3. Rachel was a great and welcoming host. She paid attention to details and was available to help. She had the room set up to be romantic which was very sweet. There were basically 2 things that kept this from being a 5 star review.1) The bed in the King room seemed cheap. The frame is on wheels and separated from the headboard so when my tall, large husband got into the bed the whole thing moved and anytime we changed position or rolled over the whole thing moved since we were on hardwood floors. We got to peek into one of the other rooms where they had a huge, wood framed bed that seemed more sturdy.2) The details on the site said breakfast served at the time of our choice, advertised the “nook” area as a great place to eat and generally made it sound like breakfast would be brought to our room which honestly is our selling point. We like to get away and relax and hang out in pajamas and not have to leave the room. When we got there we found out that it would actually just be comped at the place across the street. The food there was good and it was covered but it was not as I felt it was advertised which was disappointing.
My fiance and I were looking for a place to have a quiet intimate ceremony and when we came across the Valley House Inn we thought it would be perfect. On the drive out to the end I felt like it was forever, but once we reached our destination it was the perfect little getaway. The first night I spent with my sister our room was adorable and me staff was very attentive, & the quiet calm of the home was perfect for a night before the wedding. On the day of the wedding Rachel was wonderful and helped me with everything I needed, if you are a bride looking for someone to help, even if its a larger wedding I know Rachel would be a great asset to your wedding day. The venue was a quaint beautiful shady spot that worked perfect for our intimate day. Our friends and family gushed about how beautiful the layout and landscaping was and you can see the mountains from every which way!Our wedding suite was absolutely perfect they were so kind to decorate a room with roses and the bed was so comfy that it was the perfect place to rest my head after a long busy day. The honeymoom suite also included a perfect breakfast nook for us to have our morning breakfast alone (also I would eat the breakfast they served everyday if I could). That morning we took a lovely walk down to the lake and around to a park and the small quiet quaint town was perfect for roaming and just enjoying spending time with your loved one.If you are either looking for a wedding venue or just a place to stay I would suggest this in as it is perfect for all events and totally worth the drive.
Valley House Inn was so lovely. The proprietress and hostess were so accommodating and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the pillows a dream. We stayed in the valley view suite which had a big spa tub and a fireplace. It was an early-spring night and still chilly, so a hot bath and cozy fire were perfect.Cathy greeted us with cookies fresh from the oven and in the morning she brought up a beautiful breakfast tray.My husband Curtis and I just stayed one night for a little getaway and it was so perfect; very romantic and charming.
This Inn is the epitome of the traditional Bed and Breakfast experience! Every detail of the stay, from the sentimental home decor to the fresh picked raspberry’s on our French toast was carefully thought through by the lovely Rachel- who is, by the way, so welcoming and accommodating. We loved our experience here and hope to come back and cozy up when the snow starts falling.
What a romantic getaway! We were warmly greeted by Rachel, she was super accommodating and a pleasure to be around. When we got to our room there were rose petals, chocolates, and everything we needed for a cuddly night in.The extra large jetted tub was a dream and of had plenty of room to share. The common area had the cutest couch that we couldnt help but take all the Instagram worthy beauty shots on.Cant wait to go again!
I was honored enough to be singing the National anthem at the Vet Fest in town. I stayed at Rachel’s place and she literally brought customer service to an entirely different experience for me. Anything you needed it was already thought of! She’s fabulous! Her place is beautiful with amazing energy. I will absolutely recommend and return myself ❤️
This was a last-minute idea. My wife and I found the Village House online while we were in Huntsville. The owner, Rachel, was extremely accommodating. When she found out it was our anniversary, she even prepared the room with candles, rose petals and sparkling cider, all for no extra charge. Warm cookies in the evening and an amazing three course breakfast served to our room in the morning made it that much better. Would recommend this charming place to anyone!
My friend & I stayed at this bed & breakfast for three days coming out of Texas and absolutely loved it! Rachael was such a good host and goes above & beyond for her guests. I have not received hospitality like this anywhere else I have stayed considering she makes the breakfasts herself from scratch and decorates the room for special occasions! There is so much history in this Valley House and it is a great place to stay to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend & will be coming back!
Valley House is located up Ogden Canyon, near Eden in Huntsville, Utah. Not only is the location remarkable, just a walk away from a private entrance to Pineview reservoir, but it has the perfect amount of the traditional bed and breakfast combined with a very personalized experience. My recreational vacation getaway with my husband of hiking and wave runners was finely balanced by a relaxing and comfortable place to return to. It felt like were walking straight off the set of a hallmark original series. Our host Rachel cooked us a 3 course breakfast, provided “evening cookies”, She supplies products and foods from local business and vendors. She uses small details as well to provide a unique and memorable stay.I would definitely recommend this place as a couples getaway. Great place to relax, have fun, and spend time playing in the outdoors.
We were worn out from the road coming from Seattle in the first week of August and my wife found the Valley Inn rather than to go to the hotel chains right off the highway. I was skeptical but made it into late after dark. Both Britain and Nicole greeted us at the front door and helped carry the bags upstairs. I took a quick shower in the redone bathroom and retired to the most comfortable bed. We awoke the next morning and had a healthy breakfast out on the balcony. We asked about the history and Britain and Nicole took the time to explain how they became owners, how they are renovating and improving the property. It was the best part of our 4 day nationwide trek and it was so close to the ski areas and the mountains. We took the mountainous back road down to Salt Lake City and it was gorgeous. It is WELL worth taking the time up the mountains and stay at the Valley Inn. Britain and Nicole are just a young cute couple and every penny you pay goes into the Valley Inn- who knows where some of the hotel chain money goes. So best room, best hosts, best breakfast, best scenery. Bet you dont say that about the Ramada or Hilton or Marriott you stayed in last time. I highly recommend staying there.
This is the BEST bed and breakfast I have been to in Utah. I have had many bad experiences at many locations in the region but this is the first one I’ve left saying that I’ll be back. Location was awesome, decor and character was amazing, and the hostess/owner was accommodating, friendly, and gracious. She knows the area and has excellent recommendations for food and events. Fresh cookies at night, warm fireplace, and a three course breakfast with an option to have it delivered to your room. Well worth every cent!
Valley House Inn was fantastic! We loved learning about the houses history, the breakfast was huge and delicious, the bed was comfortable, and the proprietor was delightful. The room was beautiful, and the steam shower was fun. They use locally sourced soaps and food and we had a fantastic overnight get-away!
My wife and I stayed there over a summer weekend and we loved it. The location was with in walking distance of the lake and its located conveniently in downtown Huntsville. The location has a wonderful charm to it that is memorable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. But what really exceeded my expectations were the wonderful new owners, Nicole and Britt. Just a few short days after their wedding did they welcome us with open arms and went above and beyond to accommodate our family. They were more than willing to give us good advice on where to eat and we enjoyed a memorable night of conversation. Bottom line if youre staying anywhere near Huntsville make valley house inn your destination for rest and relaxation!
Such a cute B&B! I love the stories and history of the house. So fitting for Huntsville, Utah. My wife and I are a young couple and wanted to get away for the weekend. Britain and Nicole were excellent, fun hosts. Breakfast was wonderful! I loved the home made waffles :). My wife and I brought our mountain bikes and had fun exploring the back side of the Wasatch front, up to the snow line. Id recommend this stay to anyone.
My family and I came to Utah for a skiing holiday and we really enjoyed our stay at the Valley House Inn. The Inn was only a 10 minute drive from Nordic Vally ski resort and was really comfortable. Rachel was so friendly and hospitable and also served up some amazing breakfasts. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely recommend this place.
We only stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary, but it was great! The Log Cabin room was comfortable; the tub and night sky on the ceiling were a nice treat.Honestly, we had a slight moment of nervousness that comes with being a same-sex couple in Utah, but Britain and Nicole made us feel very welcome! You both are wonderful hosts :D --thank you!
We loved our stay at the Valley House Inn. We celebrated our anniversary and the staff was so attentive and made our stay very romantic and worthwhile. Breakfast was amazing and all the extra commodities made for a fabulous time. Definitely recommend and will return to try out the other rooms!
The valley house inn is a hidden gem. The house is absolutely beautiful, the location is wonderful, and the couple that runs it is so sweet! We stayed 3 days and the breakfast was different and so delicious every day. Britain and Nicole were so welcoming and friendly. They told us the story of them buying the inn and showed us the other 2 rooms in the house. I 100% recommend this place to anyone! It was a perfect stay.
We spent a fabulous anniversary at the Valley Inn and will definitely be making a return visit! We stayed in the Valley Suite and absolutely loved having breakfast on the balcony in the morning. We couldnt have asked for a better host and hostess--Britain and Nicole provided the perfect balance between being very friendly & welcoming, while still allowing us our privacy. Nicole was even sweet enough to share her breakfast recipe with me when we left. They were just getting started with some very nice changes and upgrades--I cant wait to see what theyve done when we head up there next year!!
Stayed overnight with my boyfriend & everything was absolutely amazing! Rachel, the owner, was so friendly & accommodating. The room was a perfect size, had all of the amenities you could ever need. Breakfast was delicious as we ate out on our rooms private veranda!
Valley House Inn is utterly spectacular. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, the common areas are warm and inviting, the complimentary coffee and tea and other beverages were a welcome surprise, and the service was phenomenal. The Inn is located in the charming town of Huntsville where there were many fun sights and activities to participate in with my family. We had a delightful time all around and can’t wait for our next visit to this beautiful destination. Thank you, Valley House Inn! We enjoyed every minute of our weekend getaway.
I was so impressed with every aspect of this bed and breakfast. The home is comfortable and offers so much history. Pineview Reservoir is very close and accessible. Our family had a blast SUP boarding on Pineview. Our host, Rachel, made the most amazing breakfast in the morning. She offered our family a “sweet” or “savory” option. Everything was local and farm-fresh. Rachel even catered to our vegetarian diet! I can not wait to go back!!!
Valley House Inn is simply spectacular. A five star rating from start to finish. The meals were nutritious and delicious. The owner/chef, Rachel was so sweet and charismatic. Gave us great things to do locally and made our experience magical and romantic. Thank you Valley House Inn!
Amazing! Amazing food, customer service, and rooms. The host is very generous and attentive. Seriously one of my favorite places that Ive stayed at. We stayed in the log haven and couldnt have had a better place to stay. The host even threw in a romance package for us. Beautiful outside and in with a very homey feel. It is a must stay.
I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! We booked our stay, last minute the night before to celebrate our baby moon (first born due in October) and our two year wedding anniversary. There was a problem with the booking system and they werent notified that we were coming. Then the poor host came down with the flu so she ended up comping us breakfast to a local restaurant instead of delevering it. Even still Rachel (the host) went out of her way to make sure we knew we were welcome and had a good experience the whole time. The rooms are adorable and well maintained , the building has an amazing old time charm. Coffee station and big yard. Very cozy, clean and homelike. We will for sure be booking another staycation here!
Wow pretty much sums up our stay at The Valley House Inn!!!!My wife and I were on a 3 week motorcycle trip through the Pacific Northwest. We left Teton Village to Huntsville a day earlier than expected but we did not realize that until we arrived at The Valley Inn.Rachel the owner/host greeted us at the door and was surprised to see us a day early. My wife and I were surprised as well. Rachel took charge and accommodated us.Rachel was extremely attentive to our needs and showed us around the place and some of its history. The Valley Inn is a beautiful historical house that has been well maintained. Both inside and out of the house was beautiful. Although the online photos of the place are amazing they just dont give it enough credit. There are laundry facilities on site that came in handy for us since we were traveling by motorcycle. There is a kitchen, dining room and living room that we had access to as well as the beautiful front, side and backyard. Dont forget to check out the garden and mural. We stayed in the Log Haven room. My wife and I loved the logs room. This room has an incredible bathtub with jets. Its like a little jacuzzi. You can imagine after riding all day how inviting this was. It was very relaxing. The room had all the amenities. My wife is very particular about places and she loved the room and house and Rachel. Our first full day Rachel invited my wife and I to go on a boat trip with her friends. Rachel made the most tasty egg sandwiches. You will have to ask her for the recipe. We met up with her friends and they were great people. We had an outstanding day on the Pine View Reservoir. The Reservoir is about a relaxing 5 minute walk from The Valley House Inn. Ask Rachel about the paddle board she has. She’s also has bicycles for either cruising around town, getting a little work out or a little bit of both. The breakfast is a lot of good tasty food. Eggs and potatoes with some vegetables mixed in from the garden. Nice thick bacon slices with sausage. Then she tops it off with awesome waffles with a sprinkle of powder sugar. I love to eat and I eat a lot but even this was a big meal for me. The Log Haven Room has a small dining room that has a relaxing view of the neighborhood and nature. My wife and I jumped on bicycles that Rachel provided us and rode around the small town. We stopped to look at some horses in neighbors yards, mailed some postcards off at the Post Office and checked out the American Legion. We then rode to to a bench that overlooks the Pineview Reservoir where we soaked up the awesome view. The Valley House Inn has WiFi, local channels as well as an assortment of of streaming apps on the tv if your up for a movie or or something else.I cant say enough nice things about Rachel and friendly staff at The Valley Inn. Rachel knows and understands her clients needs and really takes charge. With that said my wife and I got to help her in the kitchen. Rachel did not ask but was awesome enough to allow us to help out.I actually picked this place to surprise my wife and I definitely scored some major points. My wife and Rachel hit it off which made it even a better experience. All in all I would say that this was the best experience and most beautiful and relaxing place on our 3 week 4000 miles motorcycle ride through 6 states. You have got to experience this place either if your traveling through, a retreat from a fast paced environment or want to spend time with a significant other. This is definitely a place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. It is well worth your time and you will not be disappointed.P.S I will be posting more photos when I have more time.
My brother and I stayed here while working on a project in Huntsville. It was great. I worked for Marriott for years and I know good service when I see it. The service here was as good as it comes! The amenities were great. There are several public area and plenty of snacks and drinks that you’re welcome to take. I don’t drink coffee or alcohol but were available at no charge. The breakfast was perhaps the best part. It was too notch. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, fruit parfait, and orange juice. All delicious.I would highly recommend staying at The Valley House Inn.
If I could give this place more than 5-stars I would!! The management were AWESOME! My husband and I wanted a romantic getaway for our 30th anniversary and she made it absolutely perfect for us! The room was clean and really nice and we stayed in the Log Haven room. The breakfast was really good. I cant say enough about this place and the service we received. The city of Huntsville was really nice and we felt we had stepped back in time.
We loved our stay so much that we had to leave a review as we are pulling away. The house and location are perfect. We stayed in the log cabin room and the room was clean and at night they have beautiful stars in the ceiling. Nicole and Britain were so kind but also not pushy and in your business. All and all our honeymoon was perfect and we are so glad that we stayed here. We will definitely be coming back and telling all our friends and family about them.
We had such a wonderful time. need received a free upgrade to the romance package. The in-room breakfast was delicious. Rachel knows how to make an experience, including a keepsake Polaroid as you leave. We will be going back!
I was not an overnight guest, but invited to breakfast. It was a three or four course breakfast with fresh fruit eggs bacon home fries and it was absolutely incredible! Rachel did an incredible job by the time I left I could eat no more. Five Star all The way
Updated Review: After the false & defamatory statements you made about me, for no reason at all. There’s absolutely no reason for you, the OWNER to have made such disgusting & dishonest statements about me.The suites at The Valley House are pretty, definitely not what youd expect them to look like!!!! The Log Haven Suite is GORGEOUS!! Dont get me wrong, all 3 suites are great, but Log Haven is my personal favorite! Its a beautiful building inside & out!!
Went here for my boyfriends birthday. We absolutely LOVE it there! Its so comfortable and intimate. Food was delicious! Rachel is amazing and so sweet! We will be going back!
We really enjoyed staying here on a family ski trip. We rented the entire place for our group of 9. The house had a lot of charm and space for our large group. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the shooting star saloon for a drink in the evening. There was also a new coffee shop a block away which had great espresso (forgetting the name). It was a short drive to the mountain, Ogden was about 15-20 minutes away and we popped down there for dinner and bowling at the Saloman center a couple evenings. The owner (Rachel) was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this spot. One consideration for families with toddlers or who have trouble with stairs, the staircase to the 2nd floor is very steep. We had a one year old and a three year old and had no problems but we kept a close eye on them and made sure they werent on the stairs by themselves.
Cute B&B with a charming atmosphere and history. The couple who run it are super nice and inviting. The rooms were clean and cozy. The bed was comfy and the towels were super plush and nice. The bathroom even had a sauna to warm up after a morning run. Breakfast was home-made and delish! Even the dog who sleeps on the porch was part of the magic. The most well trained pup on the planet. As you approach she just wanders off the porch, waits until you enter or exit, and then comes back to man her post. It really was a great spot for a quick stay and play in a fun and quiet little town.
Excellent stay! We look forward to booking our next trip to Huntsville. Rachel was very hospitable and prepared a wonderful breakfast (with the help of a nice employee)
My husband, and two friends, spent the nights of 2/1 through 2/2/2022. We were all “blown away” with the comfort of home, decor and history of the house, each bedroom’s amenities, the jet spa tubs, the service, breakfast menus, and the warm and friendly owner, Rachel.Looking forward to another stay, but longer.Teresa McMillan
This is a great place to stay, whether its one night or several days. We really liked the hosting. We were very well treated. We feel at home. The environment, the decoration, the service, the receptivity, the attention, everything is thought in the smallest details. It doesnt even seem like its a hostel and we are customers. We were very pleased and recommend it to everyone. When we get the chance, well be back.
We had a wonderful stay at the Valley Inn. We booked last minute and the host was very accommodating. Lucky for us the suite was still available and we got the most romantic room in the house. Our host was incredible, informative and went the extra mile for us. We definitely would stay here again.
My stay at the Valley House Inn was awesome!! Spent the day hiking and arrived for check in to super cold beers and other awesome goodies. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was a real treat. Highly recommend staying here.
Went here on a last second trip when our anniversary plans were originally cancelled due to covid. Our host was very gracious and we even got an upgraded room for our anniversary. We were also in a hurry the next morning and had to leave quick, and our host woke up earlier than usual and made sure we had our breakfast and were out the door on time. Couldnt have been treated any better!
This B&B is everything you think of and more for a bed and breakfast situated in the mountains of Utah! I cannot say enough about how lovely my stay has been. I stayed for 3 nights in the Nelson room and would highly recommend as this bedroom is off a bit from the others and has lots of space for us skiers to unpack our gear. A couple things that stand out about the room:- The bed is incredible comfortable with soft, cozy, fresh sheets- Sauna in the room for after your day on the slopes or just relaxing- Beautiful claw foot tub for soaking- Fireplace to dry all your gear- Extra heater for those that like the room a bit warmer at nightOverall the stay was so much more than the accommodation though. Rachel is an excellent chef and more specifically an excellent vegan chef! I told her a few days before my stay my dietary restrictions and she accommodated with no issues and went above and beyond. I ate like a vegan queen! She had a huge breakfast ready for me before I went skiing and even prepared apres ski. All meals were incredibly delicious, I had vegan French toast, tempeh bacon, jackfruit tacos, potato hash with vegan sausage, fresh fruit, green juices, avocado toast on fresh sourdough bread.... She had even left a few vegan snacks/meals in my fridge for me in case I got hungry. I can not recommend this BnB enough. I will most definitely be returning! Also Snowbasin is an incredible mountain for those looking for some more advanced terrain and only about 15 min from the inn. All in all, a wonderful stay!
My wife and I just stayed here for our first anniversary. It was amazing!! The room was beautiful. But, most. importantly, the owner made it feel just like home for us with all the decorativos and accomodations. It was definitely worth the price with everything she did. Were coming back next year.
I took my kids there for a few days and it was wonderful. The rooms are so nice and well-kept. The breakfasts are amazing too. The owner was so nice and accommodating. My daughter asked if we could stay there again sometime right as we were leaving. Everything was great and I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.
Stayed there last summer. We went to the beach. Rachel showed us the area. The beach was amazing! She let us rent a movie, and made us great cookies.. will come again soon.
Loved loved loved my stay at the Valley House. Beautiful, charming and cozy, this place is the perfect getaway. Rachel, the owner was lovely and beyond accommodating. Absolutely can’t wait to come back!
Beyond & surpassed all expectations.!Rachel made us feel at home, not only from our 1st step into Valley House Inn, but even before that, from the 1st phone call we made.As a self employed business owner myself, its clear she & her staff go to great detail, to ensure everything is exactly as it should be.Highly, highly recommend & we WILL be back.,!
We went to Valley house and for our anniversary recently. It was great! The Decor and room were amazing! The breakfast was also excellent! It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will be back!
Rachel and her house manager where fantastic, We had a very last minute Booking we were greeted with open arms and fresh home made cookies, our room was set up beautifully as we requested a romance package. LOOK No further This is the place to goThank you Rachel for making our stay unforgettable 💕
The valley house inn is run by the nicest and most helpful woman Ive ever met. When our reservation at another place in town got mixed up we went by the valley house inn where rachael helped us contact the owner of the other hotel and served us drinks while we waited for him to come resolve our problem at the other unlelated hotel! She really saved our evening and so if you want to stay at a charming place with the greatest hospitality in the world this is the place!
We had such a great visit! Rachel, the owner is so nice and helpful! We stayed for our anniversary and she had so many gifts for us! Would definitely recommend for a getaway!
Our overnight stay at the Valley House Inn during early September was everything that my wife Karen and I anticipated that it would be, and more. A nostalgic and authentic 19th Century mansion with just enough convenient amenities to make it comfortable...located in a small country town filled with beautiful mature trees...and hosted by friendly proprietors, Britain and Nicole, who made sure that our time at the Inn was pleasant and memorable. The euphoria from our stay there lingers with us still.
Rachel, the owner is absolutely amazing as well as the staff. She never missed a meal with her wonderful homemade food!! Very friendly and homey! Thanks for letting us stay!! We will be back!Cheers, Rylee & Mason
I love this home. It has so much charm and character! Rachel is an amazing host and goes above and beyond for her guests. The breakfast was AMAZING! I highly recommend!
Very nice, quaint place to stay, innkeeper was extremely friendly and cared for me hand and foot as I was just getting over the flu. My only complaint is the building was kept at a stifling temperature, it had to have been at lest 85F the whole night, wayyy too hot. Cute little downtown, nice and quiet. I stayed a very short time and left before breakfast, but the innkeeper prepared me a cold breakfast and made coffee early for me.
Valley house inn!! It’s like the best kept secret !!The hospitality is above and beyond, it’s like going home the minute you step inside! The owner is the sweetest kindest lady that makes sure you have everything you need the minute you step inside and until the second you leave. Thank you for making our weekend such a memorable one. We will be back to see you soon!
It was Clean, comfortable, and had a delicious breakfast. Pervade bath was perfect! They went above and beyond to make our Valentines stay amazing!
We stayed for the 4th of July. There was a lovely small town feel with fireworks across the street at the park. Just a few minutes to the west is pineview reservoir where we spent the day paddle boarding, and a half a block to the east are 3 pickle ball courts. Also, the breakfast is great!
Such a lovely house set in a beautiful oasis! Rachel made us feel so at home and prepared the most delicious breakfast for us. Definitely want to return!
We had an amazing stay at the valley house inn. The bed was perfect. The host were so inviting and fun to talk to. We couldn’t have ask for a better getaway. Thanks Brit and Nicole
By far the best place I have stayed at. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and the owner Rachel made sure to make it special. We stayed in the log haven room and it was beautiful. Highly recommend and will be coming back!!
We loved this beautiful Inn. The two owners could not be nicer. The room was comfortable and lovely; the the breakfast delicious. What a wonderful way to begin our eclipse vacation! Well be back in the winter.
Rachel was so kind and thoughtful for my wife and me on our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Rose petals all around the room and sparkling cider. I’ll stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here and it was a very enjoyable experience. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the location made for a quiet and peaceful stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend and would love to stay here again!
The artwork and architecture is beautiful. They have Victorian furniture and other priceless pieces. The rooms are clean and cozy. The owners and staff are very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Rachel is an Amazing proprietorWe highly recommend checking her Bed and Breakfast out. We love up here. We wouldnt stay anywhere else.
The couple who owns it is really nice, the bed was comfortable and clean, the room was cozy, the tub was jetted, the water was hot, and the breakfast was simple and delicious. My wife and I definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast.
Ive never been so spoiled in my life! Only spent one night in the (Valley Suite), but left with a glowingly positive opinion of the house & proprietress. Will return with family when possible. (Im not good at these, but hopefully that hits the high points 🤦♀️😅)
One of the best Bed and Breakfast places Ive ever visited. Spacious rooms with very unique, beautiful decor and awesome hostess whos very attentive to all your needs. Gorgeous location with impeccable service.
My first experience in a bed & breakfast.Awesome place to stay, only needed a room for the night, not their speciality, but they were very accommodating. Great experience and a wonderful bed & breakfast. Couldnt ask for more.
The house is beautiful and felt like a home when you walk in. The three course breakfast alone was every bit of delicious. We definitely plan on coming back more!
Wonderful place to be based while we skied at snowbasin. Nicole and Brit were lovely hosts who looked after us, with great breakfasts and Brit clearing the car of snow.
Everything about this place is delightful. The hosts were charming, breakfast was yummy and the teeny tiny town is really historical and lovely. 100% hope to return. Made a long roadtrip really special. Highly recommend!!
