Overall. Great concert venue in Knoxville. I really appreciate the way they handle people like people. This was our 2nd show. First time was TechN9ne. This time was Nonpoint. Tickets are very well priced!! Its actually an affordable venue. The location may seem sketchy... my its not their fault. Knoxville made it very hard for them to find a venue. Im just glad they douns one that is close and convenient. I was surprised to see they are currently not serving liquor. They do serve beer. It was $7 for a 16oz Miller Lite, $7 for a 12oz white claw. I think $9 was the highest price and $5 was the lowest for I think a PBR.And the bathrooms were on the left side of the stage instead of the right side. Minus one star because they werent selling liquor and the toilet seat wasnt secure at all which is an accessibility issue that needs to be addressed.

The Concurrse is a great place to go to all your concert needs, lots of great rock bands come here and play, lots of room to move around but sadly not much setting around they area, but inside well blow your mind away with great sound techs making it sound amazing inside, drinks a bit on the medium side $$ but ok, smoking outside not inside with food trucks outside and the greats thing to know is you can bring the food you order from the food trucks inside the place to eat and watch your show at the same time just make sure you ask security first befor doing so, but in all this is a great place to be for all concerts great and amazing place definitely coming here for all my shows.
Just went their this weekend for a concert that citizens soldier was having. 1st off I want to say music and sound bar was amazing I didnt have trouble hearing at all. 2nd off drinks and bartenders were great. My only problem was the heat but there wasnt anything that could be done about that due to their being about 1,000 people there. I will say the employees were great and friendly. They got me a ice rag when I started over heating and let me sit in the vip for a min. All in all a great time.
Almost didnt give 5 stars... the only food I saw was a food truck out front. But I cant really hold it against them since the tickets were priced decent. All in all it was a great venue!
Amazing artists! Great atmosphere! Good sound and felt safe. Rough bathrooms, but its a rock show. Whatre ya gonna do? 4.5/5
Well, this is my fav place for live Music. The Place is huge, remember the Roller Skating Rink? Well its that size with tables and a stage and a big dance floor.Surprised not a lot of dancers. I dont care, Ill dance by myself! Go on line to see the schedule. Prices are great. And they have food, via a truck.
It sits in a pretty deserted strip mall but dont let the outside fool you. The inside is so nice and everyone was so inviting and kind. The bar looked really good. It had a really nice size dance floor. Plenty of couch seating on one wall and tables on the other. I wish this place wasnt 4 hours away from my home. I would come here on the weekly if I could!!
Great show, bad venue. There was no door on the ADA bathroom stall. The parking lot is large but the potholes are deeper than a k-hole. Hot; the ventilation of a plastic bag. I hope they find a new space.
Cool little venue for shows. Very reasonable prices on the drinks and staff was super friendly. Had a situation with a stupid little lady in the audience but that is not on the venue. Snatched her up by the hair so hopefully the next show she attends she will behave her self a little better. Thanks for a great night with friends for a pretty good show.
I used to visit the Concourse frequently when it was downtown and it was one of my favorite places to see a show. I was heartbroken when it and the neighboring International closed down but SO grateful they were able to re-open! I recently attended a show at the Concourse for the first time since their reopening in North Knoxville. The location is a bit out of the way for me but its incredibly easy to get to! And I am SO thankful the parking situation has improved. All staff from security and box office to the bartenders were friendly, fun and professional. The Mens room was in great shape, drinks were reasonably priced and the PA sounds great for this type of venue. Wed gone to see a Black Metal show (Batushka, Hate, Summoners Circle) so Id also love to give this venue props for not being afraid of hosting extreme metal shows right here in East Tennessee! Cant wait to go back!
The Concourse is labeled as a “live music venue” but really it’s a ghetto nightclub for people to get hammered on drugs/alcohol and act like fools. If you go, you’ll experience people dancing VERY inappropriately next to you and making you feel uncomfortable while you’re trying to support the artist. My husband and I tried to see Afroman last night and some boomer “DJ” played the same club style music for over an hour and a half - promising that Afroman will be out “soon”. At this point, people in the crowd were being rude, annoying, and sloppy; we ended up leaving without ever seeing Afroman. Maybe he finally came out, maybe he never did - we’ll never know. Our first concourse experience was a complete waste of time and $40. The owner needs to do better. Some people go there to see live music performers, not some amateur DJ playing the same songs for over an hour. This place was dirty, floors were sticky, parking lot had nothing but potholes and weeds; I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. I would never recommend this place to anyone, nor will I go back. I wish I could get a refund for these tickets. Y’all should strictly host clubs and raves because that venue is perfect for that crowd.
What an amazing place. Its small enough that you can really get up close to whoever you are seeing, but its large enough to attract some bigger bands too. The inside is classy, the staff were great. This place is dope. Oh and there are seats around the edge of the venue which I greatly appreciate.
Security is good, family run business! Goth nights, alt nights, edm nights, live bands. Its a good venue with tons of parking. I discussed this ages ago If I could own my own venue I would convert an old grocery store. Jay did it. Congrats man! Great place to have a good, safe experience! Also I should add, this show in particular was Aurelio Voltaire. A brilliant artist and regular, gosh, about annual performer at the Concourse. A lovely gentleman and loved dearly by the Concourse guests and crew!
Had a BLAST! Staff was AMAZING, Im in a wheelchair and they took great care of me and my friends during the concert.
A perfect use of an existing space. Wonderfully sized for small to medium sized concerts, has a very nice bar, plenty of restroom space, couches in groups all along one side wall for conversational space, and a nice little restaurant stand to grab some reasonably priced food. Its comfortable, its easy to access in the shopping center, and has plenty of parking after hours. You really cant ask for better when it comes to a venue for a few hundred people.
Absolutely loved seeing afro man!!! Thats it though. The long island tea was so gross I couldnt even drink it. 2 of them were almost $14. Save your money either get shots, beer, coke, or just water. Mixed drinks are awful. Also the lines for the bar are ridiculous. Bartenders need lots more training!!
Bartender charged her own 13.00 + tip onto my wifes credit card on top of the cash tip we had already given her. Not cool at all concourse
This place is so much fun for all ages. We frequent here and always make amazing memories. 🤘
This venue was a great choice for any band! We loved that there was couches to sit on instead of always standing. The bands that played October 14th 2023 were all really good! The drinks were pretty good. And the atmosphere was great! We will be returning!
First wanted to say, what I really love about this venue is the space for people to dance. The show I went to was almost sold out yet there was still a good bit of space left to dance on the sides and the back, even though you had to be further from the stage, The places to sit with tables and couches are great to have! Everyone we had met in the staff were friendly. I had never been to the Concourse before as my friends and I were traveling from out of town for the show. We were really surprised pulling up to it from the GPS realizing it was in a shopping mall plaza that looks run-down.. But don’t let that trick you because the inside of the venue is much more than that! Really liked the atmosphere inside. One of the issues I had with this venue was the lack of air flow throughout the evening. We had come in close to the beginning of a 5 hour night of music. And at that start of the night with the least amount of people in the venue, it was very warm. When people filled all the way in for the main headliner before midnight, it was unbelievably hot. Pretty much too hot to actually dance unless you had a hand fan. Everyone in there was sweating very badly. Even the artist had mentioned it being hot during the set, twice. There are no ceiling fans, only a few vents that were doing the very least.Another issue for the night would be the condition of the bathrooms. My boyfriend had mentioned the situation being gross and the same for the mens, but I had only been in the girls bathroom. Throughout the night, there were puddles of water on the floor. Girls had to keep mentioning to others be ware of no toilet paper in multiple stalls. Smaller toilet paper rolls had fallen on the ground leaving those rolls soaked.. With trash scattered in different places. It had seemed like the bathrooms hadn’t had a good clean in a while..I really do feel like if these few issues were taken care of, this would be a top notch venue. And if these issues were fixed, I would definitely come back to the Concourse!
This is the best spot in town. Such an amazing atmosphere! Friendly staff, amazing crowd, best dis, and an all around atmosphere of love. This is where I go to release all the stresses of life, and we all leave those things right there on the dance floor. I couldnt recommend this place enough. If you are looking for an AMAZING night out on the town you most definitely have to check out the Concourse cause there isnt anywhere in Knoxville like it.
10/10 best club/venue! Loved this place for over a year now : )
Always a good time. Always feel safe and inclusive. The staff are always respectful - even when others are not so respectful.
Security stole my zyns and vape. Dont bring anything inside for the love of god. Terrible business practices. Wont be back
Bring back Broken Side! They are so great and bring a crowd. Would love to see them play again.
This was a fun place, has some drug issues so watch your cups ladies, my phone got stolen out of my pocket so , make sure you protect your stuff and your self, overall people are friendly
Staff was great ! Bands on Tuesday night were Awesome ! THC was great as always....
This venue is awesome!!! Reminds me of 3 of my favorite venues back home wrapped in 1. Open floor plan with a good sound system and affordable drinks and great staff. Looking forward to the next show!
I love this place! Music is great, food is great, staff is awesome.
Worst venue Ive ever been to. Security was a nuisance. Poorly trained. Sound sucked.
September 8, 2023Band: K-town Legends of SoulBand was terrible. Lead singer started with “At Last”, I wish it would have been the last song they sang after everyone left. The singers were slow and off key and the band even forgot how to start one of their songs. Lead singer spent too much time talking to audience about birthdays and military by inviting everyone up to the front. I came to dance. I would have rather paid the $30 dollars not to have wasted our time. After the first set, during break they offered a fortune teller with tarot cards. (Not my thing)The floor is not the best for dancing, sticky and dirty. Don’t waste your time or money.
Fun times, cool events, awesome bartenders, clean venue and reasonable prices.
Security are total power tripping douchebags. I got kicked out for slightly moshing and just watching the show. Three security guards ran up on me and grabbed me and ran me out the venue, this one guard who looked like Elliott Smith pushed me out the door as hard as he could. They told me I was lucky I didn’t get dropped and beat up (I’m 15). Never come here. Terrible security, poor ventilation, all around bad venue.
One of favorite bands, playing at a small venue, close to my home town; yes Im having a great time. Thanks to Mushroomhead! Love ya!
The set up of the venue was great. I love the seating options and how close you can get to the stage to see the bands. Downside is it was super hot almost to the point of making me sick. They definitely need to turn the air down or look at putting some fans in all around for air flow.
I always enjoy my time at The Concourse. Whether it be a quiet Wednesday night Tranquility Base event, live bands spanning all variety of genres, Temple alternative Gothic event, or a Pajamie Slammie playing 90s and 2000s There is something for everyone at this venue. This location offers plenty of easily accessed and large amounts of parking. They usually have a coat check, and sometimes vendors set up depending on the event. The stage and dance floor directly in front of the stage has state of the art lighting and lasers. Some events provide a large projection of visual digital media synchronized with the music. The bar underneath The International neon sign hosts alcohol in bottles and mixed drinks. Many events, there are water coolers provided for those wanting water without having to approach the bar.The smoking area outside on the back side of the building is fully covered with scattered chairs and tables. There are plenty of tables and chairs throughout the venue, with couches along one wall leading back to the main bathrooms. The main womans bathroom accommodates 2 handicap stalls and at least 6 more regular stalls. If you havent had a chance to check out their new location on Broadway, you owe it to yourself to get out for an event. Youll be glad you did.
The concourse was awesome. I havent been since it moved from downtown. It looks good inside and looks bigger. I went to the shaggy 2 dope show. They had Hexxx, Lardi B and DJ Clay. It was a great show. Had a great time.
Great place for a party or show. Have o my been twice so far. I love the location and the size. The biggest issue is he lack of bartenders / slow bartending. Its a little different in the sense of when you want a drink, you wait in one of two lines and it can take quite a while when its busy. Another tender would be very helpful.
Had a fun time at pajama slamma dj daddy was amazing!
The short version: don’t go here unless it’s in the winter, the crowd is expected to be small, and you’re over twenty one.The long version: I went here for a concert last night and had one of the worst experiences of my life. The venue was nice, it had couches and tables and stuff. BUT, it was about 95 degrees outside, and it was cooler outside than inside. There’s no way there was air conditioning, and because there was no air circulation, the smoke the bands were using didn’t clear. We could barely see, and it was so hot we ended up sitting down most of the night to avoid passing out. We couldn’t even leave for part of the concert and go cool down in the car or get food (because they don’t sell proof, only alcohol) because they wouldn’t let anyone under 21 out, then back in. My group of people under 21 couldn’t leave to cool off or eat. Every band talked about how hot it was, and even the main band (who has been touring since 2014) said it was the hottest venue they had ever played in. People were passing out and seizing the whole time. We finally left when someone right next to us had a seizure and they had to call an ambulance. The band was never notified, so they just kept playing. There was also no soap, paper towels or toilet paper in their dirty bathrooms. It was probably the worst experience since I almost died in a car accident a year ago, and even then the hospital I stayed in for treatment had AC. Just don’t. Find another venue to play at or see a show at.
I miss the old spot but this place is pretty cool on its own. Just need to figure out a smoking section area when bigger bands are in town. Im not leaving my drink with a bouncer and you shouldnt either.
I, and friends, attended Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Saturday night. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Not only were the performers friendly, the staff of the Concourse were all friendly, courteous, and helpful. I also liked the setup of a combination of bar stools and tables, individual seating, and sofas. Plus theres a smoking patio. I will attend another event there and be just as comfortable. 5☆
I have a lot of things I could say about this place. I went to see my favorite band and I was so excited. We had to wait outside for almost an hour in 95 degree heat. We were at the back of the line so I have no idea how long some people waited. We thought we might pass out. Once getting in the Concourse it was the same temperature if not hotter in there. It was so hot and that mixed with the flashing lights people were passing out and having seizures left and right and none of the crew thought about telling the bands. The band we went to see Starset said it was the hottest place they had ever performed at. They didn’t have any ventilation to get the performance smoke out so when we left their was a fire truck and an ambulance outside the Concourse. Even if you did want to leave to get some fresh air you had to be 21 to go outside and come back in. They also had no food all they had was alcohol and water so even if you needed some food and you were under 21 you couldn’t get food unless you left the concert completely! Even though as a group we paid $75 to meet the band it wasn’t worth it to stay after seeing a man having a seizure right next to us and not waking up. In the bathroom their was no paper towels, soap, or toilet paper. I will never go back and I definitely don’t recommend going their for a concert. Most likely worst experience in my life. But Hey at least I have a good story for the worst concert I have ever been too!
I really love what they have done with this venue and its hard to have a bad time here. My husband and I frequent Temple and have a blast. The only things I would suggest is to bring back your restroom attendants or check them regularly. They are usually not bad but Halloween weekend was dreadful. The other thing is the patio. I understand the concept but it does feel like you are in a cage and the space is too limited for a venue of this size.
I enjoyed this venue immensely. Probably only about 2-300 people in a location that maxes out closer to 1,000 capacity. I went to see TechN9e and Mayday. As usual Tech killed it. Amazing live performer. Extremely comfortable setting, full liquor bar, and a small menu to keep you fed if needed. Also nice that it is North of Knoxville to avoid the city BS. Highly recommend.
Great place for a concert. The staff was wonderful beer was cold. Fear Factory killed it last night the only thing lacking was the crowd.
Great venue, great sound, great staff, and fun to play at. Some people apparently haven’t grasped the very basic concept that it’s apparently hot during record breaking heat? If you’re going to complain about it maybe don’t go out? seems simple to me. Fantastic venue. Will definitely keep supporting.
LOVE this place and especially the Shrek rave!! Awesome music, drinks, people, and such a great vibe!! Cant wait til the SpongeBob rave on the 9th!
I had never been here before, but my partner and I came to work as photographers and videographers for a band, Kaleb Mullins & The Witness. The Concourse is a beautiful place. Its huge on the inside with plenty of space to mosh, dance, or just chill. I definitely recommend checking this place whenever someone gets the chance.
Very nice conversion of this building into a concert venue! SO much better than the previous location!!! Its super easy to access, right off 640, and theres plentiful well-lit parking. The venue itself is laid out perfectly, with a merch table close to the entrance and a bar on the opposite side with plenty of room if theres a line. The stage is centered in the back of the building and raised, with plenty of floor space to see the act. There are couches on the sides of the floor area and raised tables behind it. The bathrooms are large and clean. And unlike the former location, the air conditiong actually works!!
By far one of the best concert venues that Knoxville has to offer. Ive been going to shows here for over a decade, the atmosphere is fantastic. Absolutely love how small the venue is, makes for a hell of a live performance. Do you go to a music festival outdoors and complain over the heat? I think not. Instead of taking the time out of your day to leave a bad review because you were hot at a concert with hundreds of people, lights/equipment (have you ever personally worked near stage lights? No. Didnt think so.) How about you go swimming? This location has been a beacon of happiness for many locals for many years, and I hope it will continue to be able to for many many MANY years to come! Rock on!
Only Independent show venue in Knoxville. Their new location is a great setup. Lots of space and the bar is much easier to get a drink. Same great prices on drinks compared to other venues. So happy they are back and bringing us the best shows that come through Knoxville!Side note they have great curated free shows each week too. Check out some awesome local talent on a big stage! The sound here is much better than others in town with top tier lasers and people that know how to use them!
The venue is nice for a decent sized crowd, getting in through Security,Age-Check, and ticket check was a quick process. The bartender for that nite was great choosing cocktails for me (non-alcoholic).However, there was an issue. As I was leaving w/ X marks on my hand and w/ my mocktail, I heard someone yell stop or something similar and didnt think that was meant for me. I heard the security guard again but this time closer. I was told not to take that drink out and I said, ok, sry, let me jus drink a lil bit of this. Apparently the issue was that I had a drink while underage and my drink was taken( jus got this drink 2 mins ago). At this point my Uber had arrived and I was still held-up by the guard and 2 other staff(the 2 other staff were helpful, no issue w/ them) The Issue, was resolved after I told them to ask the bartender that had served me the mocktail.I do understand, that your venue takes the policy serious but believe that there were other ways that didnt involve overt aggression, fear, and rather not have caused a scene in front of the line.
Nothing short of a sweat lodge with live music. Miserably hot and humid. Sound quality could use some work but was decent. The acts they bring in are great. Just wonder how long that will continue if the temperature isnt addressed, maybe it was just broke. It is a nice looking place inside and modern. Probably could use some signage for the restrooms tucked away to the right of the stage.
Really great venue. Big with lots of space to enjoy the show but also lots of places to sit at varying distances from the stage if you need that. Staff is great. I didnt take any pictures but I was really impressed with the look of the venue. The outside looks like and abandoned high rise but on the inside lots of wood and leather and it all really combined beautifully. The lights in the bathroom change colors.
A very great venue off the beaten path. Everyone that works there are very friendly and helpful. They were able to provide the accommodations I needed and went above & beyond in doing that. I was impressed with the International’s offerings and prices. I would attend an event at this venue again.
We had a fantastic time at the Lorna Shore concert. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful if had questions. Food and drinks were fantastic. We had a really good time. We will be back for more upcoming shows. Also very nice parking.
Confiscated vape when hundreds of others vaping. Then main act lights a joint on stage. They didnt pat down everyone only the people they chose. Female that was with me was very roughly frisked. Avoid this venue at all costs. If theres someone you have to see drive to another city to avoid this venue.
Really neat venue, good size and there was some seating. Unfortunately it was about 95 degrees outside today and also inside, so all of us watching the concert were sweating the entire time. There was an ambulance parked outside of the venue after the show. Apparently multiple people passed out and seized during the show.
Decent night club. Need to work on their cooling system for this place. Some of the employees were nice but other ones need to work on their attitude. Made me feel like I was a bother. Not good for business. Made everyone wait outside for an hour with temperatures over 100. A little disappointed.
I love the new venue. We had a blast as always. Jay always out does himself to give the people a safe clean and nice area to go. He will talk to people and not be annoyed.
Had fun but was not made aware they have lost there liquor license. Would have been nice to know before paying to get in. Would go back in the get there license back.
Spacious venue in an out of the way part of town. Prices are a good value. Staff friendly, helpful. Area in front of stage general standing room. There are chairs and comfy couches around the room. Good variety of beers. Snack food. Plenty of parking. Location is isolated and feels scary but I didnt have any problems.
Would give 0 stars if I could. This place is a complete joke. Went to see Starset/Red here. It was very hot and humid outside even in the evening as it was. Add a couple hundred people or more crammed in the building with no ventilation of any kind With the bands fog machines. It was a miserable night. Every band mentioned how hot it was and even said it was the hottest gig they had played in their careers and thanked everyone for sticking it out. This place should be shut down.
One of my top places on tour that I can not wait to get to! Wonderful people (friends), size of the stage is great, very clean and so much more!
The venue is clean, the food and drinks are cheap but good, and they frequently have a large selection of bands. When I went there, it was sold out and very full, and it became almost unbearably hot, but usually its very comfortable
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Went to see one of my favorite bands, only to have what could possibly be the worst time of my life. From the moment I stepped into the venue until we eventually left in the middle of the show, it was WAY too hot. There was a singular fan at the entrance, that being the only form of A/C in the entire building. This paired with the performance smoke used during the show was an absolute disaster, because there was no air circulation!! It was so foggy that the fire department had been called, and multiple people during the performance passed out or seized. What did security do? Sat back and watched. Nobody even told the band performing that something had gone wrong, and they unknowingly kept playing over someone having a seizure and multiple people panicking. Seriously, between the heat, the smoke, and the disinterested staff, I had to leave despite paying for the $50 meet and greet afterwards.
First time here. Really enjoyed it plenty of room to move around friendly staff .Not overcrowded like some venues get
It would get five stars except the AC does not work and hasnt worked for weeks. The last concert I went to people nearly passed out. Other than the AC, everyone is wonderful and drinks are well priced
Many great experiences at this venue. Very well maintained, great bar-service, legit stage equipment (great sound/lights)Staff does a great job to keep everyone safe and clean up messes quickly.Need more places like this! Fully Recommended.
Haven’t seen the show yet but the venue has us lined up in 95 degree heat for two hours. Show was to start at 6pm. It is now 7pm. Southern sun is blazing. Wonder if they thought about an ambulance on station?
Great venue, easy to find location with tons of available parking. Floor space is very open with bar in the middle. Nice seating sections off to the sides. Unfortunately right in front of the stage are two large wood pillars that make for a terrible view for some. The stage is super wide, band members are spread out too far. Not very photographer friendly, especially because of the beams, which are also located up on stage (dividing band members and creating limited viewing angles). Not set up for crowd surfing. Bathrooms are small with limited (when working) stalls. Smoking area outside is nice, partially covered. Other than witnessing people getting harassed at the front door security check, this was a pretty legit venue. My suggestion is to buy some metal detector wands and keep the line moving.
They will change your oil and filter if you bring it in for $35. I went in for an oil change and they worked really hard getting the filter off. I appreciate how hard they worked and didnt just say we cant do it. They also change breaks but you have to bring the breaks and pads. $35 each break.
Went for the first time since they moved. It’s a huge NO since they allow people to smoke right next to the entrance door which lets the smoke come in the venue. I will not be back.
The building may be different, but the people have been involved in the club scene in Knoxville for well over a decade. The concourse hosts Knoxvilles longest running Goth dance night. With live music dates, awesome bar staff , and a clean environment. Get your dancing shoes on and visit the concourse, grab a stiff drink at the international and have some fun.Update: Still simply the best.
This place is really in the wrong location. A once retail strip mall into a blighted row of boarded up stores. A developer may be so inclined to build housing for the millions swamping our nation and give the mo free stuff. But with no stores youve got a problem.
My second home for years. I’m getting older so the crowd is different, but I’ll always love this place. All of the staff are amazing and drink prices aren’t too bad. It’s mostly an edm club but they have other acts as well, so there’s something for everyone at some point.
They put on amazing shows! The venue is just the right size and is comfortable. The drinks arent that pricey. Its clean for the most part. The staff is friendly. I wish I could go more often.
Went to Concourse last night (6/15) for Starset. So unbelievably hot. People were passing out left and right. No air flow and easily over 110 degrees in venue. It was 95 degrees outside and it felt cooler than inside. I had to sit in my car for most of the evening and missed chunks of opening acts. I went to the concourse a few months ago during late winter, and had no problems. So maybe only go to shows during the winter?
Security kicks multiple people out for moshing but allowing old dudes in the front to start fights. Kicked out of a hardcore show for trying to sing along and accidentally fell on the floor and crawled to the side (can’t make this up), members of the band noticed and gave me guest list to the show the next night at a different venue because of my wrongful ejection. barricades up but no one to catch crowd surfers, next night kicked my homie out for “punching security” when the guard who got “hit” told the others that he didn’t get hit, poor ventilation, not a good venue for heavy music, pry cool for your crazy aunts edm or grandpas country music, but I will never return to this venue.
Great venue to see a show. Was a pleasant experience. Will be back.
I hope the neighborhood is as enthusiastic about the venue being in the whittle springs area. I love music and love all the fun things involved. Thank you Concourse for remaining open in such a covid restricted time. May you make much money, and quench our entertainment needs!
Cool bands, but the whole “only 21 and up” can re-enter wasn’t even told to my friend and I when we were checked in. Which it should’ve been STATED, and not on a sign that no one looks at. If you have a rule like that you should tell people that as you’re checking people in. Not when they try re enter and you won’t let them back in. By the way, we even asked the security guard if we could put our coats in the car, and he said it was fine and let us back in. We literally wasted our money on an event that we didn’t get to even see. And I can’t email anyone because there is no email on the website, but I want a refund.
Attended a small concert and no fans were running, no ac, it was easily over 90 degrees in there, a concert goer collapsed and 911 had to be called, he appeared to be having a heat stroke. It was super dangerous! We weren’t even in the pit and people were leaving cause it was too hot! They only brought out fans after someone had already collapsed. Why were they not out the whole time? This place has potential but they failed to keep concert attendees safe. There was also NO SOAP OR TOWELS IN THE RESTROOM!! Super unsanitary
A great venue. I was very pleased with the sound and lighting. Go see a show and enjoy
What a beautiful establishment Mr Harris has given the Knoxville community to have fun and let go to feel safe the people here treat you like family and when I mean that I mean they will give you a safe place if you need it this place has been a very strong part of my life yes true from the time I was 18 when it was on blackstock avenue
This place is like a second home with how wonderful and empathetic the staff are and how welcoming the patrons are.Ive been going here for years, and as someone with anxiety and PTSD, I couldnt see myself going to any other Club. Its a place that not only do I have fun being at, but feel safe enough to drink at.All peoples of all walks of life are welcomed and encouraged here.As a long time patron, once this weird time is over, come have a drink. I can safely say youll probably make some new fun friends. If you dont drink, no worries, there are so many other things of interest. Such as dancing, or out of the way sitting areas with comfortable leather couches to sit and chat. Theres also a small area where local artists peddle their wares, or show off their skills.
My favorite venue in town. There is so much that I love about this place. The people, music quality, drinks, bartenders and back patio. I very much recommend this venue to anyone who is friendly and just want to have a good time.
Love the new venue, so much space for activities! Great place!
Extremely friendly staff, the drinks are good and not too expensive, and the sound and lights are perfect! I had a blast and 10/10 would go again.
The BEST venue in Knoxville. The Concourse is like my second home. Friendly staff, safe environment, never felt scared to go there alone. Fun events and amazing production!
Had a wonderful time here last night to see Whitechapel and As I Lay Dying. Was a little hot and crowded but a great venue. Just wish they had food last night.
The Security Staff were so nice and fun to be around. First time in the new building on Halloween 5 years after I seen my first edm show Halloween 2017
Went to a SVDDEN DEATH show, they were handing waters out constantly making sure everyone was hydrated and even made sure no one went down in the mosh pits 10/10
I love live music, but what I dont love is being tackled by security for smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk. Also had another friend thrown out for Looking wobbly. I would take your chances somewhere else if you dont want to be assaulted here
Great place for a concert! Sound was good everywhere. Pretty big place for being in a shopping center!
Best venue in town. Wonderful staff that do everything they can to keep everyone safe while they have a great time.
Great venue, there was some technical issues with the sound not sure if it was the bands equipment or the venues. There are a pillar blocking the stage view from the sides, but when I was there there was plenty of room in the center so it wasnt a issue.
1- The security guards out side were kind of rude about having to pat us down. 2- $15 dollar cover charge per person. ($20 cover charge on Saturday) 3- the price of beer is outrageous.4- the music was not good. 5- I will never be returning.
A great venue with tons of parking and easy access getting in and out. Could use more AC but still a fantastic place to catch a show.
Absolutely amazing environment and people. I love Temple and everyone in the Temple family 🖤
Terrible staff, not friendly, and will turn you away for not having a physical ID. If you wanna the run the risk of getting stabbed outside the venue. This place is for you.
An amazing, inclusive environment! Jay, Lizzy, and the entire staff do a great job of keeping everyone safe and having fun! 10/10 will return! 🤘🤠🤘
I love Midnight Voyage, Ive been attending their events for over a decade. This new location has serious ventilation issues that need to be worked out. Fix that, and this is the spot.
This has been my favorite venue since I was 18 and old enough to hit these concerts, lol. Although it was called the Valarium then. Always a great atmosphere and laid back staff.
Great place to see a show. All seats are good.Curious about the dollar bill someone came out and taped to the window??
Great venue and nice staff.
My top 10 reasons the Concourse is one of my favorite venues in almost 20 years of (sporadic) club/concertgoing:10. Parking. Soooo much parking! OMG.9. The Concourse may be the best room Ive ever attended a regular night in. And it has only gotten better with the recent renovations. Massive, in good repair, plenty of places to sit, great decor, good lighting.8. Reasonably-priced drinks, including some decent beers.7. HUGE patio6. The fact that I can buy a hot dog at 2AM when the after-dance munchies set in is mind-blowing to me.5. Free water free water free water! As a dancing-centric clubgoer I cant tell you how grateful I am for this.4. Great sound, and places you can get away from it when you need to.3. Big honking fans everywhere to keep me cool.2. Plenty of space to dance. Youd be surprised how many clubs fail at this basic necessity.1. Community-oriented management. The Concourse and the regular nights held there are a labor of love by people involved with the Knoxville music community.
Great new location, bigger and better in every way. Bigger dance floor, bigger bar, bigger parking lot, bigger shows! The best in Knoxville hands down! The new location is: 4328 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tn.
Easily one of the best clubs in Knoxville. If you are looking for a good time with good people, this is where you want to go. Everyone there will make it make you feel like your at home.
Awesome Place!!! Cant Wait To Go Back. Clean, Spacious, & All Staff Super Friendly. No Complaints From Me Whatsoever. A+ Yall
Great friendly place. Amazing bartenders! Music is great. I love that they have an outdoor area to hang out and smoke. Great for a night out with your friends!
This was the first time that I ever went to a rock concert in a strip mall and it was awesome, will be going back soon for another show.🙂
Never had a bad experience
Nice place for a more intimate concert. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
Amazing atmosphere, staff was friendly and performers were amazing. The music was great and the people made the experience even better.
New Location with the same awesome owners
Wild and fun live music spot
We went to see Hellzapoppin here 4/20/2022 and the venue was fantastic and the performance was top notch. I absolutely loved the experience.
Staff was on point. Bar tenders were on point. Guest artist were phenomenal. Highly recommended
First time going to a concert at the Concorse. Their was plenty of room to move around and outdoor sitting/smoking area so you dont have to go out the front door. You can order canned drink and on that night, had a food truck for a dinner option.
Saw Smash into Pieces, Fame on Fire, Red and Starset I will forever remember this night for the rest of my life. Absolutely phenomenal night 10/10 will go again in the future.
Cool little venue. Staff are great, sound is pretty good for a converted space.
Slushii was awesome on the 30th and this past wed night/Thursday morning with Mersiv was really good too! The sound is top notch imo
Im sure its great but they wouldnt let me in because Im not vaccinated. I will take my business elsewhere. No refund on my ticket either.
Spacious with plenty of seating but WOW the bathrooms are gross. Ladies, bring some sanitary wipes and thank me later.
Its an awesome place, staff is wonderful you couldnt ask for a better venue and we love DJ
Went there for the first time for the Hedgecraft: Pagan Pride Day 2022. Was most impressed with security and how every one was very knowledgeable and professional.
A great showroom. Super clean, great sound and the best in-house light system in town. Also the easiest venue for parking.
Staff is amazing- they make bands feel at home and are super accommodating. Can’t recommend this venue enough!!
It could be a little better sound equipment to make the place not sound so muffled up. Attila sounded like a bunch of muffled made
Every concert we have been to here has been great and any time I have spoken with staff they have been very nice.
Great workers. Good bathrooms. #1 spot for edm in all of Knoxville. The parking lot is very spacious which is always a plus
Underrated venue. Great setup. A bar with a range of drinks. Worth going to if a band you fancy is playing.
It was incredibly hot but the staff was on point keeping everyone hydrated.
Great time and nice facilities
Truly a unique and wonderful venue. Some of my best memories of this town come from shows and dance nights here.
Great dance venue! The occasional food trucks and chefs are a delightful addition.
Wow, how about investing in some air?? Seriously! It’s about 95 degrees inside. Soap and paper towels in the restroom would also be nice. Won’t be coming back here, that’s for sure.
The best club in Knoxville. Love the edm scene... Its all love & acceptance. The staff and security are all A+Never had a bad expierence no matter what the circumstances.
Such a great venue! The staff is always very kind and helpful
Excellent venue, love the staff. Look forward to playing here again
My first time in the new location and it was super nice! Light show was amazing and the sound was excellent!
I went here for a Temple event close to halloween and it was a lot of fun! Liked the enviroment a lot. I think Ill definitely come again at some point when I get the chance.
A great venue, plenty I f room, better location than Blackstock.
Great place for a small concert. But its so hot 🔥.. Had an awesome time 😁
Great experience. First time back since the move. Keep bringing great bands!
I took my oldest there to watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We had a blast!
Cool place. They seem to keep it tidy and the bathroom has always been clean. I go and listen to music and vibe with good people.
Super fun, clean restrooms, well mixed drinks at fair prices. Friendly staff & convenient parking.
Great place to buy weed
Just dont pick this place because of the staff and the decor. Music can be better too as there is no variety. I expected to be the best in Knox but disappointed as it has the potential.
Place was pretty cool inside, but someone stole my hubcaps off my car here... I doubt Ill be returning
