Had date night with my husband and decided to FINALLY visit! The atmosphere and drinks are great! Our servers were very nice. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Looking at the prices, I didn’t expect my food to taste like a freezer meal from the grocery store. They did say their kitchen wasn’t fully functional, so I want to give the benefit of the doubt. As far as quality and taste of food, it feels overpriced. But the cocktails and shooters were delicious, and I can’t wait to try more drinks! Another note: we did not visit the vape shop or order their THC cocktails-this review is solely for the drinks and food!

First time going, it does NOT disappoint! From the service down the decor in the bathrooms. The Pirate Tavern was so cool. The food is amazing! Great selection of beer and a WHOLE menu just for RUM and cocktails! The shots were also really good!! We will definitely be going back! We had so much fun!

The Pirate Tavern/vape shop was a great stop. The bar has the most choices of rum I have ever seen in a bar. The bar lady was so informative about all the delicious drinks and food. I tried the peanut butter and jelly beer. It was beyond yummy! It tastes like sweet jelly as you take ur first sip and finishes w smooth peanut buttery taste! If you closed your eyes, you might think you were eating a PB&J! sandwich. Every night they have something fun going on comedy, music, food specials and more. Definitely worth stopping in.

We love it!The staff is terrific.The pirate theme runs throughout, all the way to mermaid and octopus restrooms.A quiet chat spot in the late afternoon turns into a great little music venue by 9pm on certain nights, with an eclectic variety of patrons.

I didnt get to try food but the staff was awesome. Friendly, helpful and informative. Dispensary is a huge bonus. I had a drink and a pre roll. My wife loved their version of the Mai Thai. If I lived here I would frequent this bar.

Love the atmosphere and the drinks. All in all, its a pretty cool place and we will probably go back. The food on the other hand was okay definitely needs some work.. Plus the menu doesnt really fit the theme despite the clever names.

This is a Knoxville must.First, the atmosphere, decor, and theme is worth the trip alone. Theyve really gone all-out making you feel like youre aboard a pirate vessel.Second, they have a MASSIVE selection of drinks, cans, THCa-infused products, and non-alcoholic options. As a non-drinker, I really love the fact I can go in and grab a non alcoholic Guiness or IPA.And last but not least are the staff. Honestly, some of the friendliest people Ive met in Knoxville.Live music is always spot on, and their nightly events usually draw a big, friendly crowd. Dont skip out on this place!

Good environment, great service. I knew that if the great friends I was there with recommended, I would enjoy the experience. Exceeded my expectations. A must visit in the Knoxville area.

One of the coolest bars I’ve been to, decor is next level, drink specials are also next level. The vape bar next door is also super friendly. Highly recommend. Very accepting of all!

Solid spot, with solid products. So far everyone Ive met is five star in the customer service department.Edit: So as a follow up, Ive gotten to try the bar twice now and it delivers. The cocktails are delicious, inventive and boozy! However the real showcase to me is the insane beer collection and I do mean insane. They have absolutely something for everyone. Plus beers you wont find outside their brand here in Knoxville. I love the tap selection and the mugs are the only way to go for maximum pirate experience. The love for local beer shows through in a big way. They also have a unique scan checkout system available too, this allows you to get out quicker than other spots if its super busy. All of this then add an interior and design of the space that flawlessly invoke the pirate spirit. I have a feeling this place will be quite popular in Knoxville. Its already a must for my gf and I when we do the rounds of our neighborhood spots!

We love this new spot! Steven knows his stuff and can explain the works of all the drinks and vapes to you! We are looking forward to the music and the comedy and more fun to come!

Fun place, great selection of rum and friendly bar tenders. Was there on Bingo night and had a great time.

Fun place. Food is not great, good drinks though. Other day waited 40 min for food and just finally left.

Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! The decor is stunning and the crowd is inviting. Owners are absolute dolls and made the visit even more enjoyable. They also give military discounts which was a wonderful surprise to my boyfriend and I.My new favorite place in Knoxville to sneak away to.. will DEFINITELY be back soon!

A unique experience worth traveling to. There is cool pirate theme. So much work went into the decor. Mixed drinks along with a huge selection of beers for every taste. Impossible to not find something you like. Good food also available and very friendly staff. One of the coolest bars in Knoxville.

Incredible shop! Wife and I moved here a few months ago and the staff at this shop have been welcoming to the community as well as knowledgeable about their products. They’ve helped me find a few amazing products, and I always enjoy trying something new.We’re super excited about the opening of the pirate tavern, they’ll be the closest bar to our house, only a short walk down the street! Can’t wait to see how this business and team continue to thrive!

Very hostile work enviroment. They do not treat the employees with respect. No one wants to hear other employees bad mouthing other employees. Chose not to eat there. Be a restuarant/bar or vape shop. Weird concept. Owners need some management training.

Have popped into the head shop a couple of times now after going to an event at Central Cinema, very knowledgeable staff! Excited to find another shop in town that sells my preference, HHC, but if youre looking for some other legal goodies, they probably have it too.They are connected to a (not yet opened) pirate bar, and I seriously cannot wait for it to open. Knoxville has desperately needed more kitschy and unique bars and this is going to help fill that hole. Ive gotten to peep inside and you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the decor. Their prices for the smoke shop are decent, so I assume their bar prices will be as well.

The owners and staff were absolutely wonderful!!! A real gem with such a beautiful and fun pirate theme!!! Drinks were delicious and the food was excellent!! Definitely will be back and recommend to everyone!

Went here once before, maybe even twice ... I literally cant hardly remember those 2 days. You should see this place, understand what Im saying if you think about what type of place this is. I am 100% disabled vet, and views for medicinal purposes and it really helps, I have DD 214 and all that info if needed?

Stopped by after dinner last night to check out the store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. The pirate bar looks great too, well definitely need to check it out once it opens.

This is one of the most unique shops we’ve been to so far! Super nice guy that helped us out said he’s only been here two weeks. Hard to believe because he was so well versed! Aweesome job!
