Tom was great! Ive never had massage therapist roll on my back at the end and it was fabulous. $2 charge if paying by card, even if debit. Just going thru town, but will come back next time I drive thru.

Ive been coming here for about 10 years. This is the only way I can get relief for my back and neck pain. The staff is lovely. The prices are fair, so please tip well. There is a language barrier so please pay attention and be patient. This is not a swedish massage place so dont expect one. They give excellent deep pressure massages that feel much like lovingly getting hit by a car if that makes sense. 11/10 highly recommend.

Customer service is horrible here. Four of us walked in for their intro massage and it took them five minutes to tell us they didn’t have enough people to do the massage? What?!?

March 2023, I and my friend came here to sunshine in lakewood for the foot massage combo, it was $40 for an hour! Amazing price for what we received, they worked on our feet, legs, heads, shoulders, neck, arms, and back! (Fully clothed) but, at times I was bare skin but covered properly, they used amazing oil that still has my skin feeling soft, and They used good pressure, was very clean and professional! I will come back again for sure, Jeff was my massage guy, he was great! After reading reviews I was worried, but I left happy and relaxed, yes, they expect a tip, and they deserve a good tip, they work very hard on your body for an hour!!! It was great! I recommend going in loose comfy clothing, no makeup, hair, or bra, it gets in the way of a good massage with oil! Thank you sunshine massage for a good experience!

Ive been trying find a good massage place out here in tacoma that i can support small business like this.The best foot and Body massage i ever had! Ive been so relief after the massage a i have today!If you like deep tissue massage this is for you!Budget friendly and satisfying massage!Coming back for sure to support them!

I do not recommend this place, the workers are greedy and rude. On one occasion Me and my partner went in for a massage and when we were finished they had us write how much we wanted to tip and then they charged us an extra $10 after they ran our card. We wrote it out and made sure they understood what we were trying to tip. I decided to give this place another chance and me and my partner got another massage, at the end of the massage We said we would tip $10 the guy argued with us about tipping more. When we declined he threw my partners card at him along with the shop calculator. I always tip but I dont think anyone should be forced to tip more.

My partner and I scheduled a last minute couples massage. I didnt have an issue with the my massaue; however my partners issue is the reason why we wont go back to Sunshine Foot Massage. He unnecessarily rubbed my partners belly multiple times (before, during, and after the session) and burped multiple times throughout the massage. The staff members talked to each other during the time we had a massage which I felt was very unprofessional. Additionally, I should have spoken up and said that we wanted to get a private room since we are a couple. I also didnt like the fact how the personnel were standing right next to me when I was cashing out waiting. Such made me very uncomfortable and put me on the spot as I wanted to tip my partners massaue less as he was unprofessional with his belly rubbing and burping mannerism. With that said, 1 ⭐ will be given and we will definitely bringing our $132 business else where and even if we have to drive to Federal Way to L& H Massage once a month, we will do such because professionalism and mannerism are important aspects we look at to support small businesses in todays modern times.

I visited this place the last 3 years. Sometimes good experience others not. Yesterday was awful. Is very difficult to communicate with staff. I always ask for a lady to give me the massage. Yesterday was a different lady ,very short hair . She talk and stepped in and out many times, then very careless. At the end she scratched all my forehead. I noticed when I got at home. Is been 24 hours. So for sure she was very agresive. Hardly say or never said thanks. It was an hour massage. So disappointed.

These people are rude and charge a surcharge for using a debit card. The advertised price is $40 but they charge $42 and say its a fee when using a debit card. Not legal. They hide behind a language barrier and just laugh at you. They understand well enough but dont care. There is only one good masseur out of the bunch. Everyone else is light on the pressure and not experienced. Very unsatisfied with this place. I would not use them.

Stepped into this place last week and it was not busy. Great prices on foot reflexology. I went with the A2 package for 33 dollars for ffopr reflexology for 1 hour which included 15 minutes of shoulder as well in the message. Since moving here its been hard to find a legit place to get foot massagesIll be making the drive from Olympia to here to see them again. My male message therapist was excellent and used great deep pressure to get those fet knots out and you cant beat the price . Highly recommended 👌

Honestly, the massage was terrible. The ambiance in the private massage room was poor (found myself actually wondering when it was going to end). The massage therapist was very heavy handed and rough. I usually like nice, firm pressure but this was WAY too much. I thought that I would have actually had a bruised body from the massage.I wish that I had gone elsewhere for my massage. It was not a relaxing experience.However, I am giving two stars because the women who did my massage was very nice. She did try to make me comfortable and even played some music when I asked her to. when she noticed me trying to relax/close my eyes, she even put a cover over my eyes. I didnt say anything about the massage at the time because I felt that she tried to make it enjoyable for me and I didnt want to hurt her feelings.In retrospect, I should have said something. I spent $80 for massage+tip, so the price was good but I would have paid more elsewhere.

I really like the massages I receive here, however, OWNER needs to teach employees how tipping works in the U.S. Tipping is NOT a given or mandatory. Customers give what they feel is appropriate for the service received! It is a turn off and you will loose business by employees demaning tips!! May help to teach your employees etiquette as well, stop talking to each while massaging, thats not relaxing customers.

Me and my partner came for a couples massage and it was a BAD experience. The two men who gave us a massage were extremely heavy handed to the point where we almost asked them to completely stop the massage. It was no where near relaxing as the two therapists were so rough. They whispered and laughed to each other often during our message as well. When we left we were so sore and felt worse than when we came in. The next morning was even worse! It felt as if our entire spines were bruised. I’ve had much better massages that leave my body feeling better and I was able to relax. Save your money and body pain and go elsewhere.

These people were very unprofessional and rude. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, they tried up-selling me for 5 whole minutes. I kept telling them I did not want the massage that included also doing my head and arms, only my feet because I had a sunburn and they kept trying to force me. Finally they backed down after my persistent rejection. When my foot massage was over I paid with my card. The woman checking me out asked how much did I want to tip. When I told her how much she laughed in my face. The massage was terrible, the guy was rough and at one point about halfway through he got up and went somewhere else for 10 minutes. I shouldn’t have tipped at all, but to be laughed at after was so rude. I will never go here again. My two friends who recommended this place also said they won’t be returning after they heard how I was treated. These people are unskilled, rude and unprofessional. This was my first and will be my last time ever coming to this place. Do yourself a favor and find a better massage place because this one is not it.

Omg this place is amazing. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who worked on me but he was great. Had the right amount of pressure and more. It’ll be even more great if I go into labor later tonight. But we shall see. And yes I’m overdue. Just want to not be induced so came here with some hope that a foot massage would help entice/coax my little guys to come out before my induction date.

Literally the best massage I have even had in my life. My boyfriend came in and got the 30 min massage 30 min back massage and both our therapists literally paid attention to say well to what out bodies needed.So amazing. I’ll never go anywhere else again.

Ive learned the hard way that I should see Jeff only. He is kind, mindful and cares about what hurts you.Other workers will work on you just after their smoke break and smear smoky hands all over your face and pound on you like steak.The employees used to create a quiet peaceful environment. Now they talk to each other CONSTANTLY while working on the customers.I love Jeff service and will continue to book with him but since the pandemic the whole vibe has changed from therapeutic to strictly transactional.So sad.

So here’s the deal. DO NOT use their website to book appointments as they don’t actually use it at all. You will not have privacy because everyone is in the same room, all 10 beds.(Not a naked massage!!) You will not be able to completely understand them because they don’t speak fluent English. You will probably be bruised a bit as well afterwards if you have knots like I do. However, I have never in my life received such a thorough massage. $40 will get you a 1 hour massage of feet and back (mainly back). My gentleman found every weakness in my back and pretty much destroyed me trying to get them out. He did ask anytime he used pressure if it was ok or not so they are professional. Even if he hadn’t always speak up for yourself. I will be going back often to help with my bad back & feet. I love eastern culture so I wasn’t overly uncomfortable with the open room massage. However, if you’re a fellow Caucasian keep an open mind and try something new.

I always come to see Kelvin. He is amazing! He knows exactly my weak spots and put just enough pressure, not too soft not too hard. Ive had different type of massage oversease and in the States. This by far is the best place in Lakewood. Would definitely return! ))

The old men did for my mom so terrible, she pained when he did. He’s not nice. And then later she paid for services and still tip for him $5. He didn’t want it and told her $10. “What’ s wrong with it?” So bad, I will not come back.Service not good.

Tom put me through the ringer, he was focused on working out all of the knots and stiffness I didnt even know I had. He went above and beyond to make sure that I came out in better shape than I was walking in.I feel like a new man, and Ill definitely be back.

Don’t ever go here to this fake place. With a mandatory tip and a false advertising on the window $25/hour massage, but really it’s $45.
